This right here is how you know the Iran war is not going great for Donald Trump.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump advisors are now urging him to get out.
Find an off-ramp, claim victory, claim you did everything you achieved, and get out of Iran.
Everything around him is crumbling.
Your term is crumbling.
The poll numbers for the Republicans, which were already bad, are cratering as we speak right now for the midterms.
They are trying to find any way to get Donald Trump out of this war.
and yet he almost seems to be doubling down on remaining in the conflict.
We're going to go through this article, talk about it, and see what the Trump advisors are saying,
but maybe some friction in the White House.
I don't know.
We'll go through it together.

It goes an incredibly long way.
Without further ado, let's get into it.
So first and foremost, I want to start with this tweet from Micah,
Urfan here on YouTube. He said, you know, recently, and I think this is spot on, I give Trump a weak
max before he loses all interest in Iran and declares victory whether the regime is intact or not.
And I think this is a very strong prediction given what we're about to go through, but we'll get
into it. Also, in addition to this, the war is much more difficult than Donald Trump was
anticipating. This is according to the New York Times. For the United States, the grim toll, that being
seven American soldiers dead now because of Donald Trump.
The grim toll in the first week of the war signaled that Iran was more prepared for the war
than Trump administration officials anticipated.
And this is according to U.S. military officials who spoke to the New York Times.
Iran has continued to put up a fight even after its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Kamini and other
top officials were killed in airstrikes by Israel and the United States.
In the past, Iran has given warning before launching retaliatory strikes and made known
which bases housing U.S. troops it intended to hit.
But since the start of the war, its strikes have been widespread and less predictable.
And also, what you're looking at right now, this is a big reason why the war is backfiring
on Donald Trump, why his advisors and Trump himself are very concerned.
You keep hearing Donald Trump talking about, you know, a temporary spike in oil prices.
You can see the price moving right there.
A temporary spike in oil prices.
Don't worry, everybody.
Well, people are worrying.
Their wallets are being hit hard while Donald Trump does absolutely.
absolutely nothing about it. The oil prices per barrel spiked up to $115
yesterday morning and has continued and has gone down since then, but has remained at a
steady like $80 to $90. It's 86 right now, which is much, much higher than it was previously.
So people are really suffering. Oil prices are going up. And again, you can see it right
there. But despite this, despite the casualties, despite the prices going up,
despite everything in the way that the war is backfiring,
the Trump administration is posting things like this on social media.
We've only just begun to fight, saying no mercy on a photo of a missile.
We've only just begun to fight.
And CNN is reporting that actually Donald Trump is not thinking about backing down.
He's actually considering a land invasion of Iran, putting boots on the ground.
Watch.
So we're going to go further and decisively defeating the enemy, whatever it takes,
but three hours ago, he told CBS News, quote,
I think the war is very complete pretty much.
Well, that statement posted by CBS correspondent, Wei J Yang,
was at 3.16 p.m.
Well, President Donald Trump knows the timing of that very well.
At 3.17 p.m., the Dow Jones Industrial Average shot up major recovery.
Oil went down.
Until then, of course, there had been fear,
and frankly, overnight in the oil market panic.
Oil had gone well above $100 a barely.
It was absolutely incredible what we witnessed.
It was at the highest in four years.
There was worry and fear and panic, as I said, about a global economic catastrophe.
But it is clear tonight, long after the markets have formally closed,
that Trump, at least for now, does not have an intention of ramping the war down.
In fact, CNN is learning this hour that the Trump administration is considering a highly complex
and risky operation to retrieve Iran's known highly enriched uranium.
Now, that would be a massive mission that would require.
boots on the ground. It would require significant forces, special forces, and it would put a significant
number of American ground troops in harm's way. Damn right, it would. So we have some conflicting
messaging from the Trump administration. It seems like he's really changing his mind at every
second. I mean, one second, he's like, you know, the war is over and we've pretty much
accomplished everything. And then the next, he's like, well, actually, it's not over and we have to do
more. Matter of fact, it's so not over that we have to put troops in Iran, American
troops. And that brings us to this.
With everything going on with the political backlash, the polling backlash, the gas prices,
everything being a catastrophe, the Trump administration officials, at least people around
Donald Trump, can sense the winds and they're not blowing in their favor.
And so they're telling Donald Trump, get out, find a way.
Trump said he was eyeing a quick end to the war in Iran as some of his advisors
privately urged him to look for an exit plan amid spiking oil prices and concerns that a lengthy
conflict could spark political backlash. They are, by the way, not concerned about Americans
dying. That's not one of their chief concerns. It's not why they want to end it. They don't
want to lose in the midterms. That's their main concern. Good people over there in the Republican
Party. Speaking to reporters in Florida, on Monday, Trump characterized the mission as mostly
having achieved its goals. Quote, we're way ahead of schedule. He said he thought it would be over
very soon. He didn't provide a clear timeline, because of course he didn't. When asked about
helping the Iranian people who have risen up against the regime, Trump sounded ready for a quick
conclusion rather than to continue to push for a leadership change.
Quote, we want a system that can lead to many years of peace, and if we can't have that,
we might as well get it over with right now.
Trump said, and of course he is also disappointed in the employment of Ayatollah Kameen's
son as the new Supreme Leader.
He is also now a target for the United States.
Some Trump officials said, as long as Tehran continued to attack regional countries and
Israel still wanted to strike Iranian targets, it was unlikely the United States could
easily withdraw from the war.
Trump in his Monday remarks said he was prepared to continue targeting Iran if the country blocked the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz.
He also put out a post on social media later that evening saying he wants to bring death and fire and fury on Iran if they were to block oil from going through the Strait of Hormuz.
He essentially said he wants to eliminate the country, that it could never be rebuilt again, which is not a great strategy in my view for foreign policy, but whatever.
Trump won't stop fighting until he can claim a satisfactory victory, a senior administration official said,
especially when the U.S. has a military advantage.
Trump has at times been surprised that Tehran won't cave despite the unrelenting joint U.S.
Israeli military campaign, which backs up what we just read from the New York Times, that, you know,
Iran has been much stronger than Donald Trump anticipated and Trump officials anticipated,
which really isn't great.
I mean, you know, when we have administration officials get into a war,
you'd hope that they'd be ready.
You know what I mean?
They would know what to expect, right?
They would have a timeline maybe that they could give the American people,
and they wouldn't be shocked by the strength of our opponent.
Well, you know, we're not living in normal times with a competent leader and a competent
administration.
We're living in these times where Donald Trump really has no idea what's going on in the
world around him.
Some of Trump's advisors in recent days have encouraged him to articulate a plan to extract
the United States from the war and make the case that the military had largely
achieved its objectives. Going back to this, from Micah, that Trump is going to lose all interest
and declare victory, as he always does with any project, despite it being completed or not,
while many in the president's conservative base still supports the initial operations,
some of the president's advisors have privately expressed concerns that a longer war could
deplete that support. And I think we're seeing it already. Trump has been briefed on some polling
about the war, and public polls released in recent days show that the most Americans opposed the war,
quote, the vast majority of American support ending the threat posed by the Iranian regime
and killing the terrorists.
That's what Caroline Levitt said.
Some of Trump's advisors watch with alarm as oil prices shot to over $100 a barrel.
They've also fielded calls about the midterm elections from some nervous Republicans,
according to people familiar with the matter.
Quote, when the price of gas and oil rise, so does everything else.
Given affordability was already an issue, this leads to real challenges.
According to Stephen Moore, an outside economic advisor,
Donald Trump. And here's the thing. Trump's team concluded in recent days that they needed a more
aggressive communications plan to sell the public on the war as many consumer deals with rising gas
prices. So their solution to the war is let's just sell it even more. You know, the American,
the American people just don't understand. They don't get it. We have to sell it better to them,
which is insane. It shows you just how out of touch these people are, where they think that if they
just, you know, get on social media and talk it up a little bit more, and go on Fox News
and whatnot and talk it up a little bit more, that everybody is suddenly going to forget
about the seven Americans who died and forget about the billions of dollars that we're spending
and forget about the potential of a forever war once more that the United States is engaging in.
They just want us to forget about all that. And they just need to sell it a little bit more
to get that done, which is just so insane. But you can see there is a back and forth,
obviously going on here, where Donald Trump has said the war is over,
but it's not over, we're going to go harder.
And then some advisors are saying we want to get out.
And Donald Trump is saying we want to get out, but also saying we're going to bomb them
20 times harder than we ever have before, which is an exact quote from Donald Trump's
Truth Social Post.
It is all over the place.
I really don't think the administration even knows what they want to do.
That's how discombobulated, I think they are.
And of course, when you have Donald Trump at the helm of literally anything, it's bound to fail.
It's bound to have miscommunications and no plan for a success.
So anyway, let me know what you think about this in comments.
His advisor is telling him to get out.
