All right, folks, well, it appears that Donald Trump has admitted defeat on the Epstein files in a late-night post on social media last night.
He is now telling Republicans to vote in favor of releasing the files.
He's done a complete 180, totally reverse course on this topic.
But let's be clear here.
He's not doing this out of the goodness of his heart.
He has not suddenly had an epiphany and now prioritizes truth and justice.
he's doing this for his own political gain.
There is very clearly a deal taking place behind the scenes between Donald Trump and the Republicans in Congress, and I think I know what's going on.
So look, we're going to look at Donald Trump's statement.
I'm going to give you my theory on the situation.
But before we do any of that, make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment.
Let me know what you think is going on here.
And without further ado, let's look at Donald Trump's statement.
So at 9.15 p.m. last night, Trump's
said, as I said on Friday, aboard Air Force One to the fake news media, House Republicans
should vote to release the Epstein files because we have nothing to hide. And it's time to move
on from this Democrat hoax perpetrated by radical left lunatics in order to deflect from the
great success of the Republican Party, including our recent victory on the shutdown. The Department
of Justice has already turned over tens of thousands of pages related to Epstein to the public,
which, by the way, most of those who happened under Joe Biden,
and they're looking at various Democrat operatives,
Bill Clinton, Reid Hoffman, Larry Summers, et cetera,
and their relationship to Epstein,
and the House Oversight Committee can have whatever they are legally entitled to.
Notice the wording here.
I don't care.
All I care about is Republicans getting back on point,
and then he continued, he rants for a little bit,
and then says nobody cared about Epstein when he was alive.
Absolutely not true.
And if the Democrats had anything,
they would have released it before our landslide election victory.
some members of the Republican Party are being used and we can't let that happen and they shouldn't
fall for the Epstein trap. He has coined that term, the Epstein trap apparently. So there's so much
going on in this statement. But I want to, I just want to start with this saying that they should
vote to release the Epstein files. Donald Trump knew that the discharge petition that got 218
signatures and the bill that follows to demand the release of the Epstein files from the DOJ,
compel them to do so. He knew that that bill was going to pass the House of Representatives. All Democrats
are going to vote for it. They have enough votes already. And it's expected that maybe around 100 Republicans
would also vote in favor of it. So Donald Trump, in my view, this is what I think is taking place,
knew that bill was going to pass. And instead of taking more bad political PR, he just decided to hop on
the train and say, you know what, I support it too. So he can say, well, I support the release of the Epstein
files. But I think the secret deal they've made behind the scene.
is that John Thune in the Senate, the Republican leader, is not going to bring up the bill.
I think he's going to let it die in the Senate.
So Donald Trump gets the win by saying, I wanted the files to be released, and he also
gets the win by having the files not be released.
That's what I think is going on here.
That's the deal I think they made behind the scenes.
Trump gets the best of both worlds.
Now, the public obviously won't fall for that because, you know, Donald Trump is very
obviously still covering up the story, but I think that's what they think is.
going on. That's what they're trying to do
behind the scenes. And we will see. Maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe the Senate takes it up. We will see.
But also I wanted to point out
this part right here.
The House Oversight Committee, which
just released all those Epstein emails, can have
whatever they're legally entitled to.
So it seems like
Donald Trump might be attempting
to make it illegal
for them to obtain certain
documents or at least put pressure on
the Epstein estate and just the process
as a whole to say, well, you know,
having these documents or this document or that document is illegal. That's why I think he deliberately
used the legally entitled to. He didn't just say they can have all the documents they want
because theoretically they could subpoena whatever they want, right? He said whatever they're legally
entitled to. That's a big issue. And there's other issues I want to point out in just a moment,
but let's look at some reactions to this statement, including from Rokana, who was a co-sponsor of that
discharge petition. He said, after Donald Trump's statement, glad to see Trump's complete and total
endorsement of my bill with Thomas Massey. I believe that by standing for principle, Americans will
have your back and the mightiest will see the way. This is how we start to heal the chasm in our
nation, release the Epstein files. And then he included the bill in his tweet as well, in his response.
Here's another one from Congressman Robert Garcia, who sits on the oversight committee. He said,
at Donald Trump, I'm glad you finally realize that you were about to lose this Epstein vote and are now
encouraging Republicans to vote, yes, but you have the power to release them today without a vote.
Stop the cover up, release the files. And that's a great point. That's how you also know
Donald Trump is lying here, because if he actually wanted the files to release, and he said,
as he says here, we have nothing to hide. If he actually has nothing to hide, he could release
the files right now. This bill would not have to work its way through Congress. Donald Trump is
the president of the United States. He could release all those files right now to the public this
instant while you're watching this and he's choosing not to. This is very clearly a political game.
And that's another reason how you know that there's something taking place behind the scenes
with Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress to eventually prevent the files from coming out
while making it seem like Donald Trump actually wants them to come out. Here's another one
from Keith Edwards saying Donald Trump is telling Republicans to vote to release the Epstein files.
He had no choice because that's what they were going to do. This is the first time he's bent
the knee to MAGA rather than the other way around, he no longer defines what MAGA is powerful
moment. Sorry, I had to cut there briefly. I'm still dealing with the flu. You can tell it in my voice
had to take a quick sip of water. But aside from that, yeah, I mean, like, look, it looks like Donald
Trump has bent the knee to MAGA a little bit. He really tried to get them to not vote for this
discharge petition. He literally pulled Lauren Bobert into the White House and he couldn't do it. And so now
he's just joining force with the Republicans, but, you know, for many, many different reasons.
And one of the final things I want to point out about this statement is something from Don Winslow.
He says Trump's, Trump says Republicans should vote to release the files, but does not
rescind the order to Pam Bondi to stop the fake investigation into his political enemies.
So after Congress votes, the Justice Department will say, we can't release the files due to
a new investigation.
And that's a good point because he continues to double down on this fake investigation into
Bill Clinton, Reid Hoffman, Larry Summers.
and what Donald Trump is clearly trying to do eventually is say, well, these documents are protected,
and they're part of a criminal investigation, so we can't release them if this discharge petition passes the House and the Senate.
But, you know, I really appreciate this point, especially from Robert Garcia, which is he could release them right now.
And then he continued a little bit with more Epstein posts later into the night.
At 12 in the morning, he was up very late.
At 12 in the morning, Donald Trump said it's a Democrat hoax for purposes of deflection just like Russia.
They had the sleazy relationships with Epstein and should be prosecuted.
Interesting.
Now Donald Trump is saying other people, except for him, should be prosecuted.
And he included this tweet from David Shone saying if Epstein had any dirt on Trump.
He would have had great leverage in the criminal case against him at the time he died.
The fact that he unequivocally said he had none ought to shut down the false claims otherwise,
which is not what Epstein actually said.
Epstein said he had a lot of dirt on Donald Trump.
He said in an email that he's the one who could take him down.
But I digress.
Donald Trump then, after he put out the original.
statement also attacked Marjorie Taylor Green again saying wacky Marjorie Trader Brown.
I guess he's combining the nicknames now. Remember, Green turns to Brown when there is rot,
is working overtime to try and portray herself as the victim when in actuality she's the cause
of all of her own problems. The fact is nobody cares about this traitor to our country. She
responded, and I'm not going to go through the whole thing because it is quite long,
saying that she's now getting hoax pizza deliveries and they've also received a pipe bomb threat
to her construction company's office building,
which obviously I condemn that's wrong,
regardless of who it's taking place to.
Donald Trump's unwarranted and vicious attacks against me
were a dog whistle to dangerous radicals
that could lead to serious attacks on me and my family.
Unfortunately, I've been down this road before.
As a matter of fact, I campaigned all over the country
and defended Trump.
I received dozens of swatting calls on my house
and my family members' homes,
along with these hoax pizza deliveries.
And even more severely, I've received some of the most death threats
of any member of Congress
that led to multiple men being controlled.
convicted and serving time in prison. And so she's just kind of attacking Donald Trump back in response
to this and other things he has said about her. But that was Donald Trump last night, conceding defeat
on Epstein, or at least it appears to be. I have a bunch of theories is what's taking place as well,
but certainly conceding the fact that he couldn't stop this vote from happening and couldn't
stop the bill from being passed. But let me know in the comments what you think is going on.
