As I'm sure you're all aware by now, Attorney General Pam Bondi got fired by Donald Trump today in a really, really embarrassing way.
And just when you thought the story couldn't get even more humiliating for Pam Bondi, it absolutely does.
There's always lower.
You know, with the Trump administration, the people around him, it always gets worse.
We're now learning that Pam Bondi begged Donald Trump not to fire her during this dramatic White House showdown as insiders reveal his final straw.
I'm sure you could guess what his final straw was.
but this is not surprising to me whatsoever.
I view all of the people in the Trump administration as very pathetic, sad people.
So if Donald Trump were threatening to fire them, I think all of them would get down on their
knees and beg, whether it's because they love the spotlight, they love the attention that
comes with the job, or maybe they're scared of criminal charges once they're out of office
for their conduct in their current positions, whatever it might be, this does not surprise
me that Pam Bondi was begging Donald Trump for her job.
But we're going to get into the story.
We'll talk about it.
Before I do that, though, please make sure to subscribe down below.
Drop a like on the video, comment, and let's get into it.
So let's just start with what I think is just such a pathetic statement, like a real slap in the face to Pam Bondi.
Donald Trump announced her firing on social media saying Pam Bondi is a great American patriot and a loyal friend who faithfully served as my attorney general.
Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in crime across our country with murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900.
we love Pam, she'll be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector
to be announced at a date in the near future. And our deputy attorney general and a very talented
and respected legal mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as acting attorney general. Thank you
for your attention to this matter. Now, a couple of things here. Number one, he's making his former
defense attorney, the acting attorney general, which is incredibly concerning. I mean, the corruption
is obviously there. It's, you know, nothing surprising. But I just think this wording, she will be
transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector. That's a really nice way
of saying she got fired. Transitioning to a private sector. You got fired. You got fired. And so I think
this statement is just really, really embarrassing. I mean, he didn't have the courage just to say,
yeah, I relieved her of her duties. He said she's transitioning to a job in the private sector.
And she says that actually she's going to be staying on for the next month saying I'll be working
over the next month tirelessly to transition the office of Attorney General to Todd Blanche
before moving to an important private sector role that I am thrilled about.
I mean, they're acting as if, you know, she voluntarily left.
No, she got fired.
And I just, you know, I imagine this private sector role that she's thrilled about will be,
you know, defending the Trump administration in some capacity, leading Trump's historic
and highly successful efforts to make America safer, yada, yada, yada, I remain entirely
grateful for the trust Trump placed in me.
And I think before we get into that article, the last thing I want to show you is an
amazing comment from an Epstein lawyer today.
This is a lawyer for the victims, of course, to be clear.
This is a lawyer for the victims.
He put it perfectly when discussing Pam Bondi getting fired, and I think you should see it.
Watch.
Good riddons.
Pam Bondi was an absolute disaster.
She was an embarrassment.
It was a catastrophe.
The way she handled this Epstein issue, and more importantly, the way she showed a complete,
I wouldn't even just say disregard, but almost an utter contempt for the survivors and what they wanted throughout this process.
I mean, starting with the way she handled the release of these files, one of my clients was listed named 500 times in the release of the 3 million documents, a victim named 500 times when she shouldn't have been named once.
You go then to this temper tantrum she had on the house floor during the oversight hearing where she couldn't even pretend really, couldn't pretend to even acknowledge or show any amount of respect for the survivors who were there.
So certainly from my perspective, and I think the survivors of, well, this is good written.
The only concern now is who's going to replace her.
And given the way that Trump appears to appoint people in his administration, I'm not optimistic
that the next attorney general will be any better than Pam Bondi.
Yeah, I think it's a good point on the back end as well.
Like, you know, I'm very happy that Pam Bondi is gone.
I just worry about who's next.
I think they're going to be equally as bad.
We'll see if they can even get confirmed because, you know, it's an election year.
I don't know if Republicans in the Senate want to tie themselves to whoever Donald Trump decides to nominate.
But, you know, that's Pam Bondi's legacy, right?
I mean, and what an awful legacy to have.
Protecting Jeffrey Epstein.
You know, ignoring the victims.
That photo of her sitting in Congress, ignoring them as they raise their hands, is a photo that really should be in every museum, every American history museum across the country, because that's her legacy.
That's Donald Trump's legacy.
And in the vein of talking about how pathetic Pam Bondi is and how.
she was a complete disaster as Attorney General.
Let's get into this article.
So, Attorney General Pam Bondi begged, begged Donald Trump not to fire her in an explosive showdown at the White House after he accused her of an unforgivable offense.
Trump fired Bondi on Thursday, the second cabinet casualty in less than a month.
Of course, we have Christy Noem.
Who's next?
Let me know who you think is next.
Maybe it's Pete Higsef.
Maybe it's Cash Patel.
Who knows?
Trump informed her of the decision shortly before his prime time address on Iran, a senior administration,
official told the Daily Mail, Bondi responded by pleading for the president to give her more time
in the role, but Trump remained firm that her time leading the agency was over. She was unhappy
and tried to change his mind. I wonder what argument she possibly could have made to Donald Trump.
Like, where has she at all been successful? I mean, really? I mean, you know, she's let a bunch
of Trump donors and voters go free. She really hasn't cracked down on crime like Donald Trump
has made it seem. Objectively, she hasn't been successful. Now, in Donald Trump's mind,
maybe that is success, but I don't know.
Anyway, she's gone.
However, the president told her she was fired and that an announcement would be made shortly.
The announcement had been due to be made on Friday, but has been rushed out after a rampant
media speculation erupted overnight.
Trump's reasoning for the sudden dismissal comes in part because he believes Bondi tipped
off Representative Eric Swalwell about the FBI's effort to release investigative documents
related to his relationship with an alleged Chinese spy.
Now, to be clear, Eric Swalwell was completely clear.
cleared in that case. He was never accused of any wrongdoing, never prosecuted, never convict,
none of that, right? So to be clear. But Donald Trump is very obviously wanting these documents
to be released because Representative Eric Swalwell is running for governor of California. And he is a
leading Democrat in that race. He actually might be number one in that race. And I guess Donald
Trump is scared of that possibility. He's scared of that fact. And so Trump wants the documents to
be released. And according to this, Donald Trump believes that Pam Bondi might have tipped Eric
Swalwell off. Why she would have done that? I'm not sure. The FBI was preparing a cache of documents
on Swalwell's relationship. Quote, she's intervening in those matters. The White House wasn't
pleased as she was intervening due to her personal friendship with Swalwell. It is unclear why Bondi
would have intervened, but it is believed that Bondi and Swalwell have a friendly relationship.
Swalwell has openly criticized her since she took the AG position after failing to prosecute
multiple death threats against him and his family. And on Wednesday, Bondi traveled to
the Supreme Court with Donald Trump to watch proceedings for the birthright citizenship case.
But as the president's cabinet gathered to focus on Iran, rumors ricocheted through Washington about
Bondi's replacement. She's taken a lower media profile in recent weeks as the president
privately excoriates her for failing to prosecute his political enemies. Bondi's tenure was
marred by her handling of the Epstein files as the administration faced accusations of a lack of
transparency. So to be clear, Donald Trump is not firing Pam Bondi because he believes
she failed the United States of America.
Donald Trump is firing Pam Bondi because he believes she failed him.
And that is not good criteria to use when you're president of the United States and you're thinking
about the attorney general.
You should be thinking about the people, the impact on the American people.
Donald Trump, of course, was not thinking about any of that.
He's thinking about himself.
He's mad that the press was bad surrounding the Epstein files.
He's mad that Pam Bondi wasn't able to secure convictions on his political enemies when
there's no evidence on his political enemies to secure convictions from in the first place.
And so we shall see who is next.
I think that will be a very, very telling thing, whether they get appointed or not, or confirmed,
I should say, in the Senate, that remains to be seen.
And we will work hard on this show to make sure that doesn't happen if it is a disastrous
nominee, which it almost certainly will be.
But we will keep an eye out here.
Thank you so much for watching.
