Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, folks, check this out. Donald Trump got cornered in a brand new interview on the Minnesota ice shooting where, as we all saw, an American citizen, was murdered, execution style in broad daylight by an ICE agent. Here's the problem for Donald Trump. He and his regime initially came out and defended the ICE agent, calling him a patriot and calling Alex Preti, the man murdered, a domestic terrorist, an assassin, all of the different inflammatory words under the sun. The problem for them, though, is that we saw the video, right? We saw a man get murdered in broad daylight. It's not even disputable. There's no nuance or ambiguity here. It's what we saw. And so the overwhelming majority of the American people, I'm talking like 90% are slamming Trump
Starting point is 00:00:44 for this. The 10% are going to be loyal to him no matter what. And it's put them in a really bad spot. Donald Trump has put himself in this corner. And this interview he did really didn't make much better for him at least. So we're going to talk about his answers and the new excuse that they're rolling out. There's a new talking point that has clearly been sent out to all the MAGA people. But before we get into any of that, make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Let me know your thoughts. If you're on Apple or Spotify, please make sure to rate the show five stars and follow along. It goes an incredibly long way, especially because MAGA loves to rate the show one star and bring it down because they're trolls. But I digress. I'm not bitter. I'm not bitter. So let's get into it. So Trump was cornered for truth over.
Starting point is 00:01:27 the ICU nurse killing. This is according to Daily Beast based on an interview with the Wall Street Journal. So Donald Trump twice dodged a direct question after being cornered about the brutal killing of ICU nurse Alex Prettie. Speaking on Sunday, Trump shirked when asked twice whether the ICE officer who fatally shot him had done the right thing. And for normal people, you know, a normal person who's a good person who kind of calls balls and strikes, you look at that video and you say, obviously not. Obviously the ICE agents who shot him. him nine times, including when his body was lifeless, are not in the right. For Donald Trump, it's just too hard to do. He just can't bring himself to say it. It's crazy. Saying, quote,
Starting point is 00:02:07 we're looking, we're reviewing everything and will come out with a determination. Trump told the Wall Street Journal, avoiding the actual question. And you know that this is BS because any time Donald Trump has the opportunity to get ahead of a narrative, he will. When Renee Nicole Good was murdered by an ICE agent, Donald Trump was out within three hours with a statement. saying that she's a domestic terrorist, she hit them with his car, he was shocked that the ICE agent was still alive. Of course, all of that was BS. So Donald Trump's saying we're looking, we're reviewing is actually, I'd say, an indictment of him. He knows how bad this looks. He knows where the American people are on this topic. And so he has to kind of like put up the barriers
Starting point is 00:02:46 for a little bit, pretend that they're looking into it and, you know, things like that. He has to buy some time. He said, or the article continues, when asked about the deflection, the White House referred the Daily Beast to Trump's two truth social posts on Sunday that blame the Democrats for the protests in Minneapolis as they have pushed back on ICE raids. So isn't that funny? The White House is trying to blame American citizens who don't want their neighbors, their families, their loved ones, kidnapped by a secret police force for murders. That's where we are, where the Trump team is trying to put the blame on anybody they can, the onus on anybody. They're saying, well, it's the Democrats, or it's the protesters, or it's, you know, this.
Starting point is 00:03:27 They just can never take responsibility. They can never say, you know what, we got it wrong. We're going to rethink the strategy. Then never will do that. Donald Trump in his statement said, during the four years of Joe Biden and Democrat failed leadership, tens of millions of undocumented immigrants poured into our country, including hundreds of thousands of convicted murderers,
Starting point is 00:03:43 rapists, kidnappers, drug dealers, and terrorists, of course, never providing any source for that or any proof, but it's obviously not true. I won the election in a historic land side, and Republicans won major. in both the House and the Senate in large part because we pledged to seal the border, which we have done and launched the largest mass deportation of undocumented immigrants. This deportation effort is underway and in Republican-run cities and states.
Starting point is 00:04:06 These operations are going peacefully and smoothly. It's just not true, but regardless, because local law enforcement officers are allowed to work with their federal counterparts. Remember that sentence right there. Donald Trump says, because local law enforcement officers are allowed to work with their federal counterparts, for example, on five Republican states of Texas, Georgia, to Tennessee and Louisiana. Ice has arrested this many people with zero protests, riots, or chaos. Why? Because local police and ICE are cooperating and working together. That's the new excuse. And I'm going to
Starting point is 00:04:35 show you examples of different people in the Trump regime saying the exact same thing, but they've been given their marching orders. They're blaming the ICE murders, not on ICE, but they're saying police aren't working with ICE, which is causing ICE to murder people. That's the excuse they're running with. Not much going for them. Meanwhile, Democrat runs sanctuary cities and states are refusing to cooperate with ICE, and they are actually encouraging left-wing agitators to unlawfully obstruct their operations to arrest the worst of the worst. He continued by saying he's calling on Governor Walls, Mayor Frey, I should say, and every Democrat governor and mayor in the United States of America, to formally cooperate with the Trump regime and to enforce
Starting point is 00:05:13 our nation's laws rather than resist and stoke the flames of division, chaos, and violence. I mean, isn't it, the projection is just remarkable when Donald Trump gets out there and says something, saying, you know, don't stoke the flame. of division, chaos, and violence. He does that every goddamn day. I mean, what is he talking about? He thinks it's the Democrats doing this when he's getting out there and his team is calling Alex Prattie a domestic terrorist. They're saying Renee Nicole Good was a domestic terrorist. We're not the ones mislabeling what we're seeing with our own eyes. Donald Trump is telling you to not believe your own eyes. And he's saying, well, it's the Democrats who are causing the chaos.
Starting point is 00:05:49 It's just crap. And then he goes on to say that essentially he wants to abolish saying, Sanctuary cities, Governor Walls and Mayor Frye should turn over all undocumented immigrants that are currently incarcerated, state and local law enforcement must agree to turn over their undocumented immigrants. He essentially then says, I'm hereby calling on Congress to pass legislation to end sanctuary cities. That's the post that the White House, the two couple of posts, they were long, that they directed the Daily Beast to when asked about Trump's comments.
Starting point is 00:06:17 But in his two lengthy posts, Donald Trump, of course, said the Democrat runs sanctuary cities and states are refusing to cooperate. and their left-wing agitators. Speaking to the Wall Street Journal on Sunday, Trump said, I don't like any shooting. I don't like it, but I don't like it when somebody goes into a protest, and he's got a very powerful, fully loaded gun with two magazines, loaded up with bullets also.
Starting point is 00:06:36 That doesn't play good either. So now he's blaming Alex Pretty. Man, he's really stuffing himself in a corner here. I mean, we saw the video. Alex Prattie had a license to carry legally. He was exercising his Second Amendment right, his First Amendment right as well by filming and protesting, but is Second Amendment right?
Starting point is 00:06:54 That's the same right that Republicans always yap about. It's the Democrats who are trying to infringe. It's the Democrats. So when an American citizen is legally carrying a firearm into a protest, which they are allowed to do, then it's a problem for MAGA. Interesting. The president claimed Prattie was in possession of a very dangerous gun, a dangerous and unpredictable gun. He said it's a gun that goes off when people don't know it.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Trump did confirm during his five-minute phone call with the journal that ICE agents will leave Minneapolis at some point, but did not give a date for their withdrawal. And look at this map. I mean, you can see down here, Alex Pretti and Renee Good were murdered, what, maybe 10 minutes away from each other? That's what's happening in Minneapolis right now. And Vance, in addition to this, echoed Trump's narrative on Twitter. He said, when I was in Minneapolis, I heard a number of crazy stories, but near the top of the list, a couple of off-duty ice and CBP officers were going to dinner in Minneapolis. They were doxed and their location revealed, and the restaurant was then mobbed. This is just a taste of what's happening in Minneapolis because state and local officials
Starting point is 00:07:57 refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement. That's the new talking point, ladies and gents. You're going to see this echoed by every Trump regime official on TV, on social media for the next many, many weeks. They're going to keep doing it. This is their excuse, which is, as we all know, I mean, total BS, but that's what they're running with. And it's just crazy that J.D. Vance cares more about ICE officers having the restaurant they're in shut down. as opposed to people being murdered on the streets. That's J.D. Vance's priorities. It's just insane.
Starting point is 00:08:29 At a press conference on Sunday, Governor Tim Walls asked Trump directly what his plan for the state is. What do we need to do to get these federal agents out of our state? You thought fear, violence, and chaos is what you wanted from us, and you clearly underestimated the people of the state and the nation. He added that citizens were peaceful, but we'll never forget. If it was the intention of Donald Trump to make an example of Minnesota, then I'm damn proud of the example that the world's seeing.
Starting point is 00:08:51 We believe in law and order in this state. believe in peace and we believe that Donald Trump needs to pull these 3,000 untrained agents out of Minnesota before they kill another person. Tim Walls is cooking with gas. He's exactly right. And he's a million times better leader than Donald Trump. Mr. Sleepy Trump, by the way, real photo, will ever be, could ever be. So Trump put himself in this corner, man. He really just can't get out of it. He's trying to walk the line of, oh, we're looking into it. We'll see what happened. But also saying, you know, he had this dangerous gun. He shouldn't have done it. And it's the Democrats' fault for not cooperating. He just, they just can't
Starting point is 00:09:28 get out of the corner. Rightfully so. They shouldn't be able to get out of this corner that they themselves have put in. Look, you know, the easy thing to do, the right thing to do, I should say, but also the easy thing to do is, a murder. A murder. And they just couldn't do it. They couldn't bring themselves to do it. And now they find themselves here. So look, I will leave the video there. Thank you so much for watching. Happy Monday morning. Make sure to subscribe down below or rate the show five stars. Drop a like on the video. comment, let me know what you think about everything. And as I always say, I greatly appreciate you, and I hope you have an amazing rest of your day.
