Starting point is 00:00:00 So not only is Donald Trump's war in the Middle East backfiring and he's rightly being called out for that, not only is he still covering up the Epstein files and he's being called out for that, but now Donald Trump is also getting slammed by Republicans for his disgusting comments yesterday about the passing of special counsel Robert Mueller. It's always nice to see some Republicans grow a tiny bit of a spine and show some willingness to stand up to this guy for once in their lives. Now, will this be the straw that broke the camels back and MAGA will just suddenly stop supporting Donald Trump? Probably not, but it's, you know, always nice to see some people standing up to him in his own party.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Now, before I get into these examples and show you these Republicans, please make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know your thoughts on this stuff. I always love to hear from you. And I greatly appreciate your support. Wherever you are watching this from, I really, really appreciate you all. Without further ado, let's get into it. So, of course, we all saw Donald Trump's post yesterday where he said Robert Mueller just died. Good, I'm glad he's dead.
Starting point is 00:01:02 A reprehensible comment from a reprehensible man. I mean, Donald Trump has no dignity, no decency, no nothing like that. So I expect, quite frankly, nothing less from Donald Trump, which is sad. I mean, you want to be able to look up to the president of the United States. And any time Donald Trump has been sitting in the Oval Office, that really hasn't been the case for the United States of America. but thankfully, we still have some leaders in this country, like for example, President Obama, who put out a statement about Mueller's passing yesterday, which shows that once again, he is a moral leader in this country when we are currently absent one with Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
Starting point is 00:01:39 He said Mueller was one of the finest directors in the history of the FBI, transforming the Bureau after 9-11, and saving countless lives. But it was his relentless commitment to the rule of law and his unwavering belief in our bedrock values that made him one of the most respected public servants of our time. Michelle and I send our condolences to Bob's family and everyone who knew and admired him. That is the statement that should come from a president, current, or former, whoever it might be. That's the right statement. But of course, Donald Trump took a different route and put out his disgusting statement.
Starting point is 00:02:10 Now, I want to show you some of the Republicans who have come out and spoke out against Donald Trump. And I want to start with this example. This is Ty Cobb, one of Donald Trump's former lawyers. He went on MS Now yesterday and tore it. to Donald Trump. This might be the best takedown of them all. A former Trump lawyer saying this about Trump and his comments about Robert Mueller. Take a listen. How do you rectify the fact that, you know, we're seeing this kind of response from the president, someone you worked for? And what does it say about where we are as a country when families at their most vulnerable
Starting point is 00:02:47 state? Here it is on your screen. Basically the president saying it's good that Robert Mueller died. So that's the type of person that President Trump is. He's a demented narcissist. You know, seriously hates anybody who stands in opposition to him, has reworked the Justice Department into a revenge machine and, you know, rules the country in a very authoritarian manner with the assistance of a cowardly cabinet and even more cowardly Republicans in Congress. And that's tragedy, that's something we're all having to deal with. But I think, you know, rather than focusing on, you know, the despicable response of a demented president, that we should really focus on the hero that we lost today and ideally gain some inspiration and some strength that we can
Starting point is 00:03:39 bring out on no Kings Day when we stand up again for our country. Ty Cobb, thank you so much for taking the... Man, I love that. A demented narcissist who rules the country in a very authoritarian manner. Love that. And keep in mind, as he mentioned, the No King's protests, another one is coming up at the end of March. I believe it's March 28. Don't quote me on that. Make sure I'm right. Check the date. Get out if you can. I will certainly be doing so. But aside from that, a very, very good comment from Thai cop. He is a demented narcissist who rules the country in an authoritarian way. He's been enabled by cowardly Republicans, cowardly cabinet members. And I like the, you know, the more positive message at the end. You know, Donald Trump is a lunatic. He says gross
Starting point is 00:04:22 things, but maybe it's better to focus on the sacrifice that Robert Mueller made the, the commitment he had to the United States, as opposed to Donald Trump's awful comments, the way he conducts himself. Here's another one, Representative Don Bacon, a Republican currently in Congress right now, said that Donald Trump's comments about Robert Mueller were wrong and unchristian. Yes, number one, of course, wrong and unchristian, certainly, but I kind of think that this can apply to basically everything that Donald Trump does, for the most part. Right. I mean, you know, whether it be starting wars or protecting bad people who do bad things with Epstein or any of his major policies, giving to the wealthy, taking from the poor, wrong and unchristian, I think is a way you could really label Donald Trump's presidency.
Starting point is 00:05:07 And yet you have the Republicans out there, the Republicans, the religious guys who were like, oh, you know, he's a, he's, he has the religious mandate. God sent him. And he behaves like this. Anyway, Senator Tom Tillis, North Carolina Republican senator leaving office. he sort of criticized Donald Trump. I wish he would have went a step further. But he said a sad statement about where we are in our political discourse. I certainly don't celebrate the death of somebody who you could disagree maybe on certain matters, but this is a person who served this country and deserves more respect than that. Why don't you say Donald Trump's name?
Starting point is 00:05:39 I mean, yeah, it's a sad statement about where we are in our political discourse. We are here because of Donald Trump. So, you know, maybe throw his name in there every once in a while. You point to the disease. point to the invasive species. That is Donald Trump. You know, we can diagnose it. We know what's going on here.
Starting point is 00:05:56 This is Britt Hume, a Fox News commentator. Yeah, even Fox News is getting out there and saying this stuff about Donald Trump. He said, this is the kind of stuff Trump does that make people not just oppose him, but hate him. Here's another example coming from a priest, a priest getting involved, saying, God help us, this is disgraceful language
Starting point is 00:06:14 coming from a Christian or anyone with a soul. It was just as wrong to celebrate the death of Charlie Kirk as it is to celebrate that of Robert Mueller. May they rest in peace and may we never forget that Jesus' message is about mercy. Donald Trump has certainly forgotten that. How about Andy McCarthy?
Starting point is 00:06:29 He is a contributing editor at the National Review. Very conservative. He said, just sickening. And how about this one? Representative Mike Turner, once again, can't just criticize Donald Trump. He said, no matter how controversial
Starting point is 00:06:41 the Mueller investigation was, his report effectively ended the Russia hoax by concluding that there was no collusion, while the manner in which Mueller led that very partisan investigation damaged his reputation. He was nonetheless committed to the truth up until his leadership of that investigation. Mueller had an extremely strong reputation and career. I'm grateful for his service. I express my condolences to his family for their loss. So, you know, somewhat of a nice message. I mean, you know, he had to throw all this crap in here
Starting point is 00:07:06 and attacking Mueller and whatnot and then ended it with condolences. Couldn't just bring himself to say this is sad. And then here's Tim Poole, another Republican, sort of condemning it, saying, Lord have mercy, Trump really did post this. Mueller has died. He was not a good man, but wow, Trump is brutal. And let me be clear. These are just some Republicans who have come out against Donald Trump, but a lot of Republicans were still very much defending him and his comments about Robert Mueller. For example, Laura Lumer, Donald Trump's girlfriend, said, honestly, it makes me love
Starting point is 00:07:33 Trump more. His post is so relatable. Stop pretending like you haven't been happy to learn one of your enemies who harmed you is passing away. It's human nature. You're not supposed to grieve when your enemies die. Get real, says Laura Lumer. She is obviously a psychopath and has no idea.
Starting point is 00:07:48 what's going on around her. I'm not even convinced that she is actually a human being. Here's another one where she says, Trump says what everyone is thinking. What they are thinking, maybe what Laura Lumer and Donald Trump is thinking, but nobody's sane. Nobody's sane is saying that. Gunther, Eagleman, one of the worst people ever, said no need to shed tears for a man that played a very important role in the largest conspiracy against America. The left will melt down, but we are far past niceties. I mean, this guy is, you know, a total nut job, just like Laura Lumer, just like Donald Trump. And they're all cowards who hide behind their phones. You know what mean, they type behind the phones, they don't actually have any opinions or any views.
Starting point is 00:08:22 All they believe is what Donald Trump believes. Once he's out of office, I can only imagine what they're going to do with themselves. They're going to freak out. So anyway, I will leave the video there. I just wanted to show you some of these examples of Republicans with, you know, a little bit of a spine calling out Donald Trump some more than others. I'd say like Ty Cobb is leading the pack and then you have the rest at the bottom. But despite all of that, I appreciate you watching.
