All right, folks, this FIFA scandal that Donald Trump has participated in over the past 24 hours has blown up.
It went from a little story to something even bigger, not only affecting the United States,
but also affecting our allies around the world who were putting out statements condemning the United States.
And on top of all of this, Donald Trump just held a press conference where he made the entire situation even worse.
So we're going to start from the beginning.
I'm going to describe this in a timely manner.
and give you a summary of everything that's happened in the past day or so.
And let's just start with the beginning.
Let's start with the very first part of this story,
which is Florian Baligan, the star striker for the United States of America
for our men's national team participating in the World Cup right now,
got a red card the other day in the round of 32 game against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Now, the red card was controversial.
I didn't think it was a red card.
A lot of people kind of felt the same way.
But he was given a red card nonetheless,
meaning that he was sent off for that game.
He could no longer play, and he would be suspended for the next game.
So a red card is a serious deal in soccer.
I grew up playing soccer.
I lived in Europe and watched it for many, many years, still do.
And so it's a big deal.
But then, out of nowhere, Florian Balligan's red card was overturned.
It was reversed.
And so now he will be playing in the Belgium game that's happening tonight at the day of me filming
filming this.
We learned that the FIFA disciplinary committee has suspended the red card issued to the USA striker.
during that game with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
So this was very weird.
I mean, we don't see a lot of stuff like this happening in a World Cup
where a player is given a red card on the field to spend it on the field
and then later there's a review.
They use some article and some provision of the FIFA code
to overturn the red card.
It was very, very strange.
But we later learned the truth about this red card,
which is Donald Trump called up FIFA,
the White House, called up FIFA
and asked them to review the red card to overturn it, essentially.
That's what Donald Trump did.
And he admitted to it in the press conference we're about to watch.
But he called up FIFA and said, I want you to overturn this red card.
If you don't, I imagine this is how the conversation went.
If you don't, there's going to be some problems.
FIFA knows this.
FIFA knows that the World Cup is being hosted in the United States and Mexico and Canada,
and they don't want any problems from Donald Trump.
The World Cup is being played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
They don't want any problems for Donald Trump.
And so what do they do?
The disciplinary board overturns the red card after Donald Trump gave them a phone call.
and there are people completely outraged about this.
I mean, Belgium, the team that we are playing tonight, the United States is playing,
put out in his statement saying that they've appealed the decision,
looking to have it overturned.
This is what they said.
After learning through media reports of FIFA's decision to lift the automatic suspension
of Balligan, the RBFA, the Royal Belgian Football Association,
sent a letter to FIFA requesting a copy of the decision, an explanation of the process,
and setting out its position regarding the applicable regulations.
As its only response, FIFA sent,
a letter to them stating that it considered this correspondence to constitute an appeal that a judge
had been appointed and that the RBFA had only a few hours to complete that appeal.
No information whatsoever was provided by FIFA.
For an appeal to be admissible, FIFA's own regulations state that the reasoned decision
must first have been communicated and yada yada.
They're saying essentially that they have appealed this.
And this comes after an earlier statement saying that this is absurd, that they completely disagree
with it.
They say the automatic nature of the suspension was also explicitly refirmed in the FIFA
World Cup, 26, circular number 16, they're citing the code saying that this should not have
happened in order to safeguard the legitimate rights of all participating teams and to protect the
fundamental principles of fair play in our sport, both of this World Cup and at future
additions, the RBFA is investigating all potential options. So they are outraged about this, as are
other football associations out there who have put out statements in a similar way. But what I will
say is that kind of corrupt. Visit BetMDM Casino and check out the newest exclusive. The price

Option like this, Donald Trump hanging out with the FIFA president, is not new. I mean, we saw the FIFA president give
Donald Trump the FIFA Peace Prize, a made-up award just to give Donald Trump.
He gave him a medal.
He gave him a whole thing.
They had a whole ceremony for Donald Trump to give him the FIFA Peace Prize.
This was before the war in Iran, by the way, Mr. Peace, bombing countries, invading countries,
taking presidents from other countries.
This is not the first time the president of FIFA and Donald Trump have worked together on something.
Here's the clip of this happening.
It's incredibly, incredibly weird.
the 2025 FIFA Peace Prize, football unites the world to Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America,
in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world.
Friday, December 5th, 2025. This is the certificate. It's yours. Thank you very much. This is truly one of the great honors of my life.
I mean, just so gross.
It's so brazenly corrupt that this FIFA president is trying to win over Donald Trump,
make him be loved by Donald Trump,
and now you have stuff like this where he can just call him up and dispute refereeing decisions.
Now, look, I want to show you this clip of Trump at the press conference.
Let me just say something.
I'm an American, and I've watched soccer my entire life.
Some of my favorite sports to watch are football, soccer, and basketball, right?
That's where I'm at.
And I'm happy that Balagan's playing.
He's our star striker.
That's what we want. We want the United States to be at full strength. But I also want us to win fairly.
You know what I mean? Like, I'm happy that he's playing, but I don't want corruption to be the
reason that we win. And I think that's a fair position. You know, that's just, that's where I'm
at. That's where my head is at. But let's get into this press conference where Trump was asked
about the FIFA decision. And he, you know, the question was about the FIFA decision. What do you
say to critics who say this starts a precedent, which other powerful leaders and the question
was could interfere. And he said, I can only say this. I had nothing to do with the decision.
That's what Trump says. I had nothing to do with the decision, which I all think, I think we all know is just not true.
About the FIFA decision, millions of American soccer fans are obviously very happy.
But what do you say to the critics who say this starts a precedent which other powerful leaders?
Well, I can only say this. I had nothing to do with the decision.
What I did have to do is I said, I think that should be reviewed because I watched the play.
And he didn't do anything wrong.
You know, got to look.
By the way, if he did, I'd feel differently probably.
If he punched him in the face, if he did something wrong,
I thought your young, wonderful basketball player,
Caitlin, I thought that she was treated rather rough, if you want to know the truth.
That was a much different kind of an event.
That was a pretty bad event.
But in this case, he didn't do anything wrong.
Two people ran into each other.
And by the way, if you look at that game, there were 10 instances where it was
much rougher than that. So Donald Trump, soccer expert, apparently, says he doesn't, he didn't do
anything wrong. Now look, I will say, obviously, that it was, it's a very fast game. You can make
mistakes in seconds. But if you're looking at the rules, like, you can't do this. You can't have
your foot on their ankle, even if it's accidental. You know what I mean? You can't have your
studs going down on their ankle. That can lead to consequence. Now, I don't think it should have been a
red card, you know, that was kind of crazy. But a warning, a free kick for sure, maybe a yellow,
but that, I don't know, but that is definitely a foul.
So Donald Trump's saying that he didn't do anything wrong, it's like, well, you know, it's
nuanced. It's more, it's more than that.
But here's the really bad clip where Donald Trump just rambles for like three minutes straight.
He says it wasn't a foul, it wasn't an infraction.
And he also says that the referee has a suspect past.
I'm going to skip like one minute into the clip because he just rants about how much he loves
the FIFA president.
But the question is, can you describe your phone call with the president about the red card?
Belgium is appealing the decision.
This is what Trump said.
A good golf, okay.
But he's a good, he's really, he's really great.
But I watched and, and no reason for me to watch and you couldn't take your eyes off the game.
Because I said, Johnny, you know, you have all these games because they added games.
In a country where really we don't, it's not our main sport, to put it mildly, and this has
been four times more success.
We told me last night, the numbers are four times greater.
They think 50 or 60 million people are going to be watching the game tonight.
And, you know, this is getting to be Super Bowl numbers.
But you have a game tonight, and they think they're projecting a minimum of 50 million people watching a game.
We call it soccer.
It's called football, I guess, but we can't really call football because it gets a little, there's a little confusion.
So, yeah, you call it soccer.
We're the only ones to do that, but we are football.
And football's great.
But I've never seen anything like it.
So I saw the play, and I'm a person that loves sports, and was a good athlete.
And I understand sports really well, really well.
And that wasn't a foul.
That wasn't even an infraction.
There was two guys running full speed that happened to crash into each other.
You can't take your foot and properly place it on somebody else's foot when you're going,
no, these were two great athletes that got tangled up.
And this referee, who is a little bit suspect?
If you check his past, I don't want to say that because I don't like to create controversy.
But very suspect.
If you'd like, I'll provide you with the past.
He made a call that nobody could believe.
You know, even people on the other side, they said, oh, we got lucky.
Wow, that's, and it's very interesting.
They say they don't show them in slow motion.
And I never realized that.
I never heard of that before.
That they're not allowed to review in slow motion because it's so different.
Because you'll take one little quarter of a second and you'll see that a hand is touching a neck or you'll see something.
Whereas when you see it in fast motion, it will look like two guys collided, which is really what happened.
They got sort of entangled.
He didn't do anything wrong.
And he's our best player or one of our best players.
A very vital player.
And he gave him a red card.
I didn't know what that meant.
I didn't think it meant much.
Then I started hearing that.
Well, hey, he just said he understands sports.
He's like a sports expert.
now he doesn't know what a red card means, that's wonderful.
I mean, what that means he can't play in the next game, at least in the next game.
I said, boy, that's a big, you know, if it happened to another player,
it would have been unfair, but when they take your best player or just about,
they have some great players, but, and they say you can't play, that's very unfair.
That's, you know, it's one thing to penalize somebody for the game.
But how do you penalize them for a game that hasn't been played yet?
It's very unfair.
You can't do that.
So, yes, I asked for a review by FIFA.
I spoke to a man who's highly respected.
And by the-
Well, there you have it.
I mean, he's admitting to wanting the review.
I mean, he's admitting to the reporting.
He's admitting that it is true that he tried to tip the scales here.
It's just corruption.
And I will reiterate that as an American, I'm happy that Balligan is playing.
He's a great player.
He's a fantastic striker, who also, by the way, is a birthright citizen.
So now MAGA likes birthright citizenship, whatever.
I'm glad he's playing, but I also don't like the corruption.
I really don't.
You know, FIFA as an organization, has had a lot of corruption in the past.
You can look up their corruption, a lot of money-related problems.
And it just further ruins the brand of FIFA.
It, I think, hurts the World Cup.
It hurts our relationships with allies around the world.
I lived in Europe.
Europe takes soccer really seriously.
I mean, really seriously.
And so when the United States is getting this perceived advantage,
that nobody else can get. Yeah, it's going to leave a sour taste in some people's mouths.
So anyway, let me know in the comments what you think about this scandal. I mean, maybe it's nothing,
maybe it's something. I think this for me is something in particular interesting because of my
past with soccer. But, you know, let me know in the comments what you guys think.
