Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, folks, we just got the inside scoop on the firing of Pam Bondi. Journalist Reagan Reese, who works at the Daily Caller, spoke to high-level sources inside the White House today about Pam Bondi, and they revealed a lot what led to Donald Trump's decision, what might happen next and more. But also, in addition to this, there have been a couple of different updates for Pam Bondi and the entire Trump administration that they will not like. The fallout continues. And I imagine that things are going to get a lot crazier before they get better. in this arena. So make sure to subscribe down below. It supports the channel, supports the show. I greatly appreciate you. Drop a like as well, comment. Let me know what you think about everything going on. And without further ado, let's just start here, which is Pam Bondi has now fled Washington,
Starting point is 00:00:44 D.C. She's gone. She's out of there. According to the Daily Beast and some other outlets, a humiliated Pam Bondi fled from Washington, D.C. after failing to convince Donald Trump to keep her on as Attorney General. We learned that she essentially begged for her job from Donald Trump, and he stood firm and said, not doing it, you can't have it, and now she's gone. The axing came not long after Bondi accompanied Trump to the Supreme Court on Wednesday, where sources say the possibility of replacing her was raised as they shared a ride in the presidential limo. So Donald Trump was like talking about this in front of Pam Bondi, and I just think this is a perfect encapsulation of what Donald Trump is and what his administration is.
Starting point is 00:01:25 It's a loyalty test. If you don't do exactly what Trump says, exactly what he expects from you, he will not only fire you from your job, but humiliate you as he does it. I mean, he was talking about firing her in front of her as they were going to the Supreme Court together. The 60-year-old, who was born and raised in Tampa, is now back in Florida after Donald Trump announced her firing. But it's not the end of the saga because Maga is already sounding the alarm on Bondi's potential replacement, at least her temporary replacement, they're not happy with Mr. Todd Blanche, who is allegedly, I guess not allegedly, but taking over. He's now the acting attorney general as Donald Trump decides who he wants to appoint in that position. But Blanche, who was once Trump's
Starting point is 00:02:08 personal attorney, has not been universally welcomed with open arms into what has become a fractured MAGA coalition, marred by infighting over the Epstein files, which Bondi flubbed, and war with Iran, which is inflicting pain at the pump for Americans. For example, Sarah Gonzalez, a host on the right wing media network, Blaze TV, said if you think Bondi was bad, Blanche will be a hundred times worse. Mark my words. So already off to a bad start with the maga base. Mike Sernovich, a prominent right wing commentator who has me blocked on Twitter, fun fact, wrote that Blanche will be Bill Barr all over again. He was originally a Bondi fan when he went to the White House for, you know, the Epstein File Phase 1 binder release, all that crap that happened,
Starting point is 00:02:51 and now apparently he has turned on her. Laura Lumer, a harsh critic of Bondi who gave her the derogatory nickname Pam Blondie was among the mag of figures not convinced that her replacement was a home run. She said, Pam Bondi has been fired. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will be temporarily replacing her, which will be interesting given the fact that he is a Democrat. I mean, if they think that Todd Blanche is a Democrat, I don't know what to tell them. Cambrian Nelson, a conservative influencer for the America First Policy Institute,
Starting point is 00:03:18 said she could not shake that image of Todd Blanche having lunch in Florida with CNN's Caitlin Collins. She continued, quote, now he's serving as interim attorney general. And just like that, you're reminded how small the circle really is. Politics isn't messy. It's tight-knit in ways most people never see. So already, this saga has pissed off MAGA. They didn't like Pam Bondi, but I guess they also don't like Todd Blanche. And Donald Trump, meanwhile, while all of this is going on, while the fallout continues from Trump firing Pam Bondi is back to his safe space. And by safe space, I mean posting about his ballroom. He just is still doing it.
Starting point is 00:03:54 So he just posted this rendering of what appears to be the ballroom. Obviously, it is. It looks very strange, very tall. And that's what he's posting online. And then he also posted, I just can't believe what I'm looking at right here. This is a photo of him in front of the construction of the ballroom. He posted immediately after with a statement saying, I'd like to thank the hardworking commissioners and staff of the National Capital Planning Commission,
Starting point is 00:04:17 who just voted overwhelmingly 8-1 to approve the magnificent White House ballroom, now rising on this hollowed ground. I am pleased to announce that even board member, Senator Rand Paul, known as extraordinarily difficult vote, voted yes. For more than 150 years, every president has dreamt about having a ballroom at the White House. Really?
Starting point is 00:04:34 Every president has dreamt about it? I really, I just don't think that's the case. You know, but anyway, he continues to rant about the ballroom saying it's great, and he included this, you know, very just weird photo of him. He looks like a kid on a field trip. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:04:47 He got his photo taken in front of the Statue of Liberty or something, except it's not the Statue of Liberty or something, of Liberty, it's far less impressive and pretty depressing, might I add. But anyway, let's hear from Reagan Reese. Let's get back into it. So she just posted this around three minute video talking about what her sources have told her, what the conversation is inside the White House right now. And she does work for a conservative outlet. That is the daily caller. But I've actually spoken to Reagan Reese behind the scenes. He's asked me some questions. I've done some interviews with her. And I think that she is a straight shooter, even though she works for a
Starting point is 00:05:16 conservative outlet. So what she's saying in this video, I would interpret to be truth. And she's actually talking to these sources and whatnot. But without further ado, let's get into it. Okay. Wow. What a day. Pam Bondi has been fired. She is no longer attorney general. This is crazy. There have been rumors around Washington that she was on the chopping block, that the president wasn't happy with her. Maybe she was going to be fired. But obviously, she'd been surviving. She wasn't the first cabinet official out, but now she is. And, yeah, I got the inside scoop today talking in some sources about what happened. And one White House official explained it to me this way.
Starting point is 00:05:57 They said there's no bad blood between the president and the attorney general, but he was overall dissatisfied with the job she has been doing. And that mistakes had been building up. You could point out a bunch of different things when we talk about mistakes. Rate of prosecutions, the Epstein files. Those are just two examples. continuing to read off my notes here. The official also added that the president has actually been thinking about firing Pambandi for a while,
Starting point is 00:06:25 which would make sense considering all the rumors I've heard over the last several months, and finally decided to pull the trigger. In the meantime, Todd Blanche, he's the deputy attorney general, is going to be taking over. This White House official stressed to me that the president's taking time to consider. consider his potential replacements and that there's no urgency to pick someone new. But again, whenever I'm talking to sources, a big thing that they all stress is this could change. It's Donald Trump. Things change on a whim. So President Trump actually has been talking to possible replacements for Pam Bondi. On Tuesday, EPA administrator Lee Zeldon was at the
Starting point is 00:07:10 White House to meet with President Trump to talk about wildfire response. And the conversation of replacing Pam Bondi came up. This was told to me by a source familiar with the whole situation. And since that conversation, it's been really interesting. One of the sources told me that things within the EPA have been kind of weird. Like the administrator or the atmosphere has been that people felt like something was about to change. Maybe Lee was going to leave.
Starting point is 00:07:43 And colleagues have been starting to discuss. amongst themselves and that it seems likely that EPA administrator, Lee Zeldon, might be tapped to be the next attorney general. His replacement could be the deputy EPA administrator. That's who it seems likely to be right now. So just so interesting. Okay, so a lot there. Donald Trump has wanted to fire Pambani for quite some time, which I do believe to be the case. We've had a lot of reporting on this, really stretching back to when the Epstein file stuff really kicked off. Donald Trump was unhappy with her then, remained unhappy and eventually just fired her. And now he's looking at a possible replacement of Lee Zeldon. Now, I know Lee Zeldon. I don't know Lee Zeldon.
Starting point is 00:08:29 But let me rephrase. I'm aware of Lee Zeldon because he ran for governor of New York against Kathy Hokel as a Republican. He was insane then. He's been awful at the EPA, deregulating the fossil fuel industry, allowing them to pollute. So if it is Lee Zeldon, and Donald Trump is moving in that direction, which not only Reagan-Rees is reporting, but others are reporting, Lee Zeldon is just another lackey. He's another yes man for Donald Trump, which is exactly the kind of character he wants as attorney general. He doesn't want somebody who will say, no, I'm actually not going to prosecute people based off of their political beliefs or them being a perceived enemy of you. He doesn't want resistance in the DOJ. He wants acceptance. He wants
Starting point is 00:09:10 capitulation, bending the knee. And Lee Zeldin, the guy that's being floated, among many others, but the guy that's being floated and apparently Trump talked to him about it is another Trump lackey. So that's kind of concerning. And the unfortunate thing about Lee Zeldon is that he would likely get confirmed by the Senate, right? He's not like, you know, one of these loony-tune maga people who have said their crazy things out loud.
Starting point is 00:09:33 He's crazy, but it's really said most of that stuff maybe privately or keeps it internally as opposed to posting it on Twitter every single day. So something to keep in mind, I will keep tracking this story and keep you updated on anything I get. I will leave it there. Thank you so much for watching. Please make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about this story. Let me know what you think about everything going on.
Starting point is 00:09:55 And have an amazing rest of your day, and we will talk soon.
