All right, folks, we have some major breaking news that just came in a moment ago.
Donald Trump says that he has reached a deal for Greenland, the future of Greenland and the United
States being involved with it in some capacity with the Secretary General of NATO.
He is celebrating this on social media.
His followers are celebrating this, but I'm Colin BS.
I think this deal that he just announced, we're going to read his statement in just a
moment.
I think his deal he just announced is full of crap.
I don't think there's actually a deal.
I'll explain my thinking more in a moment after we read this.
statement, but I think this is a facade. So look, make sure to subscribe to the channel down below,
drop a like on the video, comment, let me know what you think about what's going on here.
If you're on Spotify, make sure to follow along and rate the show five stars. It all goes an
incredibly long way. But let's read the statement from Donald Trump and see this framework
of a deal or this future deal that he's talking about here that MAGA is currently celebrating.
And this comes after his disastrous speech at Davos in Switzerland, the World Economic Forum,
which we will talk about also in just a moment. But Trump just said at 2.27 p.m. on the East Coast,
quote, based upon a very productive meeting that I've had with the Secretary General of NATO,
Mark Rout, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and, in fact,
the entire Arctic region. This solution, if consummated, will be a great one for the United States
and all NATO nations. Based upon this understanding, I will not be imposing the tariffs that
were scheduled to go into effect on February 1st. Remember, Donald Trump said that he was not only
going to put tariffs on Denmark, but other European countries who are standing with Denmark and
did some military exercises in the Arctic in Greenland specifically. He said additional discussions
are being held concerning the Golden Dome as it pertains to Greenland. That is the missile defense
system that Donald Trump wants to build, even though we have a missile defense system in the
United States already. Further information will be made available as discussions progress.
Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marker Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Whitkoff,
and various others as needed will be responsible for the negotiations.
They will report directly to me, thanks for your attention to this matter, signed Donald J.
Trump.
So he's saying that they have a framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland.
So not a deal, a framework of a deal.
Okay.
As I said, I just, I don't think that there's actually a deal here.
My best guess is that it's just going to be more of the same.
We already have a deal with Denmark to be able to ask.
access Greenland. We can put our troops there. We have troops there. We can access minerals and
resources and things like that. And so what I think is going to happen is Donald Trump is going to do
his classic, I folded, but actually I won kind of grift for his followers, where privately he's
the one that backed off because if he did it, he would face a tremendous political backlash.
So he's going to say, yeah, you know, it didn't go the way I won it, but actually I won in the end
because we have this new deal, which is really the existing deal. And I think this was put well by
Chris D. Jackson on Twitter in response to the deal, the framework of the deal, saying
LMFAO, pure damage control, there was never going to be a deal now or ever for Greenland.
They just handed this man baby an off ramp to save him from himself yet again.
Same routine every time, say something insane, get walked back quietly, pretend it was all
strategic.
It's embarrassing and everyone sees it.
And I think that's really well said.
I think that's exactly what happened here.
Donald Trump can't look weak.
I mean, we all know he's weak, but in his mind he can't look weak.
He can't look weak.
And so instead of just saying, you know what, this Greenland thing's not going to work out.
I tried, didn't work.
We're not going to go forward with it.
Instead of saying that, he has to say, we have a framework.
We have a framework of a deal.
And it's going to be announced soon.
That deal is never coming.
There was never a deal.
It's more of the same.
The same relationship we have with Greenland.
But as I mentioned, Donald Trump, aside from this statement, this framework of a deal,
Donald Trump has had a pretty bad day regarding his pursuit of Greenland.
Earlier, during his remarks at the World Economic Forum, Donald Trump confused Greenland and Iceland about three times.
He doesn't know the difference between Greenland and Iceland.
He doesn't understand that those are two different regions, two different countries.
And then what's really funny about it in addition to this is that Caroline Levitt actually tried to claim that the reporter who posted that was lying, that they got it wrong and actually Donald Trump had it right.
She said, no, he didn't, Libby, in response to her, Libby DeVie.
his written remarks referred to Greenland as a piece of ice because that's what it is.
You're the only one mixing up anything.
So, this is the excuse that Caroline Levitt is running with here.
Donald Trump didn't say Iceland.
He said, ice land.
How ridiculous is that?
And what's really funny about this lie, it's such a weird hill for the White House to die on,
is that there's actual footage of Donald Trump confusing it, and it's nothing like they described.
Watch.
But the problem with NATO is that we'll be there for them 100%.
But I'm not sure that they'd be there for us.
If we gave them the call, gentlemen, we are being attacked.
We're under attack by such and such a nation.
I know them all very well.
I'm not sure that they'd be there.
I know we'd be there for them.
I don't know that they'd be there for us.
So with all of the money we expend, with all of the blood, sweat and tears,
I don't know that they'd be there for us.
They're not there for us on Iceland.
That I can tell you.
I mean, our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland.
So Iceland's already cost us a lot of money.
But that dip is peanuts compared to what it's gone up.
And we have an unbelievable future.
That's three times in like 10 seconds.
Three times in 10 seconds.
like he said Iceland and then quickly corrected himself and started saying Greenland again.
That's three times in 10 seconds.
And Caroline Levitt has the nerve to get on social media and say that he was referring to it as a piece of ice.
And that his remarks actually said, ice land, not Iceland, the country.
They're so ridiculous.
In this speech as well, Donald Trump was speaking to his audience.
Gavin Newsom was in attendance.
And this clip looks straight out of something like Veep or a comedy TV show.
just look at how Donald Trump compliments Gavin Newsom and then pans over to Gavin Newsom in the crowd.
It's hilarious.
We can do that all over.
We're going to help the people in California.
We want to have no crime.
I know Gavin was here.
I used to get along so great with Gavin when I was president.
Gavin's a good guy.
And we're going to, if he needed it, I would do it in a heartbeat.
I'd love to see we did help them a lot in Los Angeles, a lot with the early in my term when they had some problems.
But we would love to do it.
I would say this if I were a Democrat governor or whatever, I would call up Trump.
I say, come on in, make us look good.
Oh, man.
Cutting crime down to nothing.
Look at, I love, I love this clip because look at Gavin looking at the camera.
He is as baffled as we are.
He is as baffled as we are to what we're listening to, this demented lunatic just
ranting incoherently for an hour straight during this disastrous speech in Davos, Switzerland.
I mean, seriously, a clip straight out of a comedy TV show.
And Gavin actually followed up after the speech and gave his thoughts to Caitlin Collins, specifically on the topic of Greenland and Donald Trump's alleged invasion, but now alleged framework of taking over Greenland.
I don't know.
Just watch.
Did it stand out to you that he said Iceland multiple times when he was talking about Greenland?
You know, and that every time a windmill turns, it costs a thousand dollars.
A lot of stuff stands out.
None of this is normalized.
There's a normalization, a deviancy of controversy.
and, you know, comments and commentary.
And no other president, he's held to the curve.
He's graded on a curve.
I mean, it's really some job-dropping and remarkable statements that just, you know,
fly in the face of facts and evidence and common sense.
But they're so, you've heard them over and over and over again.
Again, for the European audience, that may have been a new speech.
My God, there wasn't anything new about that speech for the American audience.
The only thing that was new is he said he's willing to negotiate, but wait a sec, that's not new either because he's been saying we've wanted to negotiate for over a year.
You criticize.
It's a really good response from Gavin.
Nothing remarkable about that speech from Donald Trump.
The only thing remarkable about it is how remarkably stupid he is.
Every time Donald Trump gets up on a stage, you, me, we all listen to him speak.
And it's stunning at how he's completely incapable.
of forming a thought or staying on track or anything like that.
Just completely incapable.
So nothing remarkable about that speech except Donald Trump's remarkable stupidity.
But yeah, I mean, we'll see what this framework of a deal is from Donald Trump.
But a really bad day for him on the Greenland front, something that he has made his new pet project.
But look, I will leave the video there.
Thank you so much for watching.

Let me know what you think about this story.
Let me know what you think about everything.
in regards to Greenland. It's so absurd.
