Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, folks, I have a major update for you in the story surrounding Epstein, the files, and whatnot. And once again, Donald Trump's Department of Justice is trying to protect Donald Trump. That has been their motivation. It will remain their motivation. And once again, they're trying to muddy the waters. They're trying to confuse the American people, make it hard to decipher what's real and what's not, just making the situation even worse, all to protect Donald Trump. So we're going to talk about this story.
Starting point is 00:00:26 This is a very, very significant update, which will almost certainly. dominate the conversation for the next week or so or however long it lasts. But this is very, very significant. Before I get into any of this, though, please make sure to subscribe down below. Drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about this story. If you're on Apple or Spotify, please make sure to rate the show five stars and follow along. Without further ado, I want to break this down very quickly for you. So the Department of Justice has sent over a letter to Congress outlining why it made redactions to the Epstein files. The six-page letter also includes a list of all government officials and politically exposed persons in the files.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Now, that list that we're going to look at in just a moment is problematic for a number of reasons. And they did it in such a way that shields Donald Trump from criticism. It kind of loops him in with people who actually didn't do anything bad, or at least we don't have evidence that they did anything bad, to make it seem like Donald Trump didn't do anything bad. And before we get into this list and this letter, it's not exactly surprising. that the Department of Justice is doing this,
Starting point is 00:01:29 because not only have we witnessed this cover-up for Donald Trump's entire second term, but also Pam Bondi testified before Congress the other day about the Epstein files, and instead of engaging honestly with members of Congress on this issue and responding to their questions transparently, she decided to attack members of Congress who were asking questions about Epstein,
Starting point is 00:01:50 dodge the questions entirely, and try to brag about Donald Trump's accomplishments. Like, for example, this clip on your screen right now went incredibly viral where Pam Bondi started talking about the Dow and the S&P 500 and was confused why people were asking her like, why are you talking about this when we're trying to ask about Epstein? Just watch. To release all of those documents, he is the most transparent president in the nation's history. And none of them, none of them, ask Merrick Garland over the last four years one word about Jeffrey Epstein. How ironic is that? You know why? Because Donald Trump, the Dow, the Dow right now, is over, the Dow is over $50,000. I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader, as I hear Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000. And the NASDAQ smashing records, Americans 401ks and retirement savings. are booming. That's what we should be talking about. We should be talking about making Americans safe.
Starting point is 00:03:04 We should be talking about what does a Dow have to do with anything? That's what they just asked. Are you kidding? Mr. George. She had like a meltdown in front of the entire country. So you can see obviously she's not there to talk about the Epstein file. She wants to brag about Donald Trump. And it's just so ironic that at the end, you know, she said we should focus on making America safe while she's simultaneously covering up rich and powerful men who did bad things with Epstein. Apparently having those people flourish and evade justice is making America safe, but that's Pam Bondi's directive.
Starting point is 00:03:34 That's what she's doing over there at the Department of Justice at the direction of Donald Trump. And also calling him the most transparent president in American history, again, while this cover up is taking place right on the nose for who Pam Bondi is. She's a lunatic. I mean, she's really just crazy ranting in Congress about utter nonsense, incoherently about topics that are completely irrelevant, but this all goes to show you that the DOJ and Pambondi and all the people around them have absolutely no interest in transparency. They have no interest in honesty and making this situation easy to understand for the American people
Starting point is 00:04:08 and being honest about the people that are implicated, which doesn't surprise me why we got this letter and why it's so awful and why it's so obviously an attempt to protect Donald Trump. So let's get into it. So the letter is sent to Chairman Chuck Grassley in the Senate, Dick Durbin in the Senate, Jim Jordan in the House, Jamie Raskin in the House, and it basically cites the law from the Epstein File, in the beginning at least. It cites the law from the Epstein Files Transparency Act that requires the Department of Justice within 15 days of completing the release required under the Act to submit to the House and Senate committees on the judiciary, a report listing one, all categories of records released and withheld to a summary of redactions made, including the legal basis for those redactions, and three, a list of all government officials and politically exposed persons, named or reference in the release materials. And that list is what we're about to talk about the main issue with this letter.
Starting point is 00:04:59 And it goes on, and it talks about summary of redactions made, saying that a lot of the redactions contain personally identifiable information or depictions of children and things like that, C-SAM and whatnot. But we know that a lot of the redactions of these documents is not just those things, personally identifiable information or inappropriate photos of children or anything like that. We know that they've redacted Donald Trump's name. They're protecting the wealthy in the power. So so far the letter is obviously kind of BS.
Starting point is 00:05:27 But here's where it gets really bad. List of all government officials and politically exposed persons. Below is a list of all government officials and politically exposed persons named or reference in the release materials. The term politically exposed persons was not defined in the act, but consistent with Section 3 of the Act. The department reviewers were directed to notate all government officials and politically exposed persons named or reference. And what they're doing here with this list, you can see there's a lot of names. But what you can see what they're doing with this list is trying to loop Donald Trump in with people who are actually innocent. They have no connection to Epstein, haven't done anything wrong to make it seem like Donald Trump didn't do anything wrong or that he just got caught up with the wrong guy like so many people did.
Starting point is 00:06:08 And for example, you can just look at this list and go down and you can see so many people involved that absolutely have no connection to Jeffrey Epstein. For example, Hunter Biden, right? no connection to Jeffrey Epstein. George Clooney, no connection to Jeffrey Epstein that we know about, right? Michael Flynn, Bill Gates, Rudy Giuliani, Nikki Haley, all of these people, now maybe Bill Gates and Michael Flynn, but to our knowledge, you know, Nikki Haley doesn't have any direct connection to Jeffrey Epstein or was not part of anything that Jeffrey Epstein was doing. You have Alec Baldwin, for example, Chelsea Clinton, Kurt Cobain, George Conway, Ron DeSantis,
Starting point is 00:06:46 all of these people are in politics, but they have no connection to Jeffrey Epstein. They did not commit crimes with Jeffrey Epstein that we know of, of course, that we know of. And the list goes on. You can see Nancy Pelosi, a bunch of different people on this list. Finally, they decide to list Donald Trump down here and Melania Trump. But this list is what we're looking at right now is not a list of people who did or anything wrong with Epstein or new Epstein or anything like that. These are just people who happen to be referenced in the files. Most likely because somebody sent an article to Epstein of which an area,
Starting point is 00:07:16 name was included, which means they are now part of the documents. It does not mean that they did anything wrong. But again, Donald Trump's DOJ is looping Donald Trump in with people like Hunter Biden, for example, who have no connection to Epstein to try to make it seem like, oh, you know, he didn't do anything wrong or he just got wrapped up with the wrong guys. And matter of fact, Democrats and Republicans are calling this out. Roe Conner, for example, who was behind the Epstein Files Transparency Act, said the DOJ is once again purposefully muddying the waters on who was a predator and who was mentioned in an email. To have Janice Joplin, who died when Epstein was 17 in the same list as Larry Nassar, who
Starting point is 00:07:51 went to prison for the abuse of hundreds of young women and, of course, inappropriate possession of certain photos, to put it mildly, with no clarification of how either was mentioned in the files is absurd. Release the full files, stop protecting predators, redact only the survivor's names. Marjorie Taylor Green actually said something very similar. Pam Bondi and Todd Blanche sent a letter to Congress naming tons of people in the files, names that don't make sense like Janice Joplin, who died. in the 1970s and all kinds of politicians, including those who fought the hardest to release
Starting point is 00:08:19 the files like me, Thomas Massey, Rokana, and Nancy Mace. Supposedly, Epstein committed suicide in 2019. I ran for Congress in 2020 and became a member of Congress in 2021. My mentions in the files are basically stories unrelated to Epstein like me, criticizing masked rules and vaccine passports. Why are stories about my refusal to comply with COVID tyranny? Again, she's crazy, yada yada. And the other news stories unrelated to Epstein about me listed in the Epstein.
Starting point is 00:08:44 files. What kind of files are the FBI and the DOJ keeping on us? What is actually going on? And what's actually going on is the waters are being muddied. They want you to look at this list and say, well, you know, there's just so many people involved in this. You know, we don't know who's a predator. We don't not. We don't know who is, who isn't, you know, kind of thing. And so let's just forget about it. That's what they're hoping. But we're not going to do that here. We're not going to do it on the show. We're not going to let them muddy the waters with this BS list that includes Hunter Biden, for example, which is nonsense, we're going to keep pushing for accountability and pushing that the Department of Justice release these files, release the outstanding
Starting point is 00:09:21 3 million files, remove the unnecessary redactions, and more. It is insane what they're doing, and it's all to protect Donald Trump. So look, I will leave the video there. I just had to talk about this letter and what the DOJ is doing. It's so gross. Make sure to subscribe down below. Drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about this story, this madness.
Starting point is 00:09:39 and aside from all of that, have an amazing rest of your day, and we will talk soon.
