Starting point is 00:00:00 There's never been anything so dangerous. Thank you very much, everybody. Thank you, guys. Thank you, guys. Thank you all. Thank you so much. Thank you guys. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:00:11 So what you just saw right there is Donald Trump kicking the press out of the Oval Office after he got some questions he didn't like at this surprise press conference he had yesterday. And in this, he said a lot of crazy stuff, as he normally does. He talked about Iran. He talked about Democrats trying to introduce communism in the United States. He also contradicted his own administration. That might be one of my favorite parts of what he said yesterday. We're going to talk about all of it and more, and then we're going to watch the full clip of him,
Starting point is 00:00:38 kicking people out of the Oval Office. But I do want to start here with a clip of Trump talking about Iran because, of course, Iran is still not settled. We have this memorandum of understanding that he signed with Iran that gives them hundreds of billions of dollars. But in terms of the war actually coming to a conclusion and their nuclear program coming to a conclusion, we are nowhere near that yet. And so Donald Trump in the Oval Office yesterday said, we're winning militarily. It's almost won militarily, I would say. And this is important because he said something different not too long ago. So take a look at this.
Starting point is 00:01:10 There'll be a meeting on that tomorrow in Duha. And they're going to Qatar. I think they've already left or they're just about getting ready to leave. So we'll see how that goes. But we're doing very well on that front. But the meeting in Doha is going to be. perhaps important, perhaps not. We're going to find out.
Starting point is 00:01:32 But we're winning militarily. It's almost won militarily, I would say. And it's really very simple. It's the denuclearization of Iran. We don't want them to have a nuclear weapon, and they're not going to have a nuclear weapon. They've agreed to that in all fairness. So he's now saying in this clip,
Starting point is 00:01:51 it's almost won militarily, I would say. But recently, at a state dinner he had with King Charles, Donald Trump said, we have militarily defeated Iran. And he said this a number of different times, but I just want to understand the contradiction. Why did he say this back in April? But now, fast forward to June, Donald Trump is saying it's almost won militarily. This is a perfect example of how Trump just speaks out of his ass. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:02:17 He just makes stuff up. One day he'll claim something affirmatively. It is done. It's completed. All good. The next he'll say, well, you know, we're working on it. It's still a work in progress. and then the next day he'll forget that he said any of it.
Starting point is 00:02:30 It's an ongoing thing with Donald Trump, and it's so frustrating for not only you and me at home, but I just think the entire world when the president of the United States can't be trusted. Joe Biden always used to say, the words of a president matters, and they really, really do. And so when Trump is saying one day the war is over, the next he's saying it's not over,
Starting point is 00:02:49 it really throws things for a loop. The next clip I want to show you is Donald Trump raging about the Senate parliamentarian. This is an ongoing thing as well for Donald Trump. He's targeting this woman in the Senate, who's the parliamentarian, obviously, who won't just do whatever Donald Trump wants her to do. And so he decided to rage about that in the Oval Office as well. Parliamentarian? What were you asking about?
Starting point is 00:03:11 Yeah. Have you talked with Thune about? I have. No, I can't imagine why you keep a woman that was put there by Harry Reid and Barack and San Obama. I cannot understand it. The leader has the right to fire the person at will and put somebody else there. that could be, because we get so many negative rulings from her, the parliamentarian. She's been there for years, and she was put there by Harry Reid and Barack of San Obama.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Harry Reid was a bad guy, and he was the leader, and he put her. And the speaker has the right to immediately fire her and put somebody else there. And it's not even believable that she's still there. She's obviously a good politician or something. Very upset about the Senate parliamentarian, and this mainly comes from, You know, a couple of different things that she has said Donald Trump can't do. But the most recent thing that's really annoyed Trump is the ballroom funding. They wanted the Republicans wanted to include $1 billion of taxpayer money in this ICE,
Starting point is 00:04:09 this immigration, DHS funding bill and whatnot. And she said you can't do that. You can't do it through reconciliation. That specific process in the Senate. And Donald Trump didn't like that. He's been calling for her firing ever since. But of course, what Donald Trump is leaving out of this is that the parliamentarian is nonpartisan. So she also struck down things that Democrats wanted to do under Joe Biden's administration, which was very frustrating for me.
Starting point is 00:04:30 And I imagine everybody at home as well. But this is like, you know, this is how the institution works. Obviously, Trump has no idea how the Senate works. He probably doesn't even know the amount of senators in the Senate if I had to take a guess. But nonetheless, one of his main focuses yesterday. And of course, John Thune has been pushing back on Trump saying, you know, parliamentarian rulings break both ways, which is true. You lose a few. You win a few.
Starting point is 00:04:51 That's been true when the Democrats have been in the majority, too. it's a hard job, it's a very specific skill set, and you need somebody that is going to be a fair referee. So Trump is not getting his way, and that is very much so irking Donald Trump. He also recently put out this long statement at the beginning of June, raging about John Thune, raging about the parliamentarian, ranting about it, as he so often does. Here's another clip I wanted to show you of Donald Trump, very upset over the Supreme Court ruling against him. This was a big ruling. They said that mail-in ballots that are post-dated for honor, before election day can be counted if they arrive late. Trump doesn't like that. He doesn't want
Starting point is 00:05:28 votes counted. He doesn't want mail-in votes being counted, especially because he knows that Democrats utilize that incredibly heavily in different states around the country. And so this is him just furious about it. Do you make the Supreme Court ruling today in regards to the mail-in ballots? And what comes next for the SAVE Act after today's ruling? Well, because of the mail-in ballot ruling, which was a little bit surprising, gives people more time to vote illegally, let's say. But the SAVE Act is even more important. And that's the... Just total nonsense.
Starting point is 00:06:00 And then on the topic of the SAVE Act, as many of you know the other day, he refused to sign this really impressive housing bill. It's a housing bill that was mainly worked on by Democrats, but it's really good. It does a lot of good things. It's bipartisan. Even Republicans voted for it as well. he refused to sign the housing bill until the Save Act got passed. And now he's trashing the housing bill.
Starting point is 00:06:23 He's saying it's unimportant. So for people like me, I'm Gen Z, of course, I'm 23 years old. I have a lot of friends who are out of college and they can't barely afford rent, let alone thinking about buying a house anytime soon. That's not even like in their radar anytime, certainly not in mine. I mean, it's incredibly expensive out there. And he's saying to people like me and my peers, and I know many of you out there, have children or grandchildren or friends who are trying to buy houses, whatever it might be.
Starting point is 00:06:48 For people like me, it's incredibly important and it's not unimportant, as Donald Trump would say. But take a look at what he had to say. I think this is a clip that should be in Democratic ads up until the midterms. I mean, I'm serious. You have honest elections. What are your plans for the housing bill, Mr. President? I don't know. I think it's so unimportant by compared to the Save America Act.
Starting point is 00:07:10 I think the Save America Act is exactly when it says it's saving America from crooked elections. And the housing bill is a bill that can get approved. They worked on it long and hard. It's very bipartisan. That means the Democrats like it. I think it's maybe even it's probably maybe more that way. They're getting things that I would necessarily agree to. Nobody knows more than housing in the history of the presidency.
Starting point is 00:07:39 I say nobody, nobody did, well, like me in housing. I made a house. I made a laugh. I mean, he's a total idiot, so he doesn't know anything about housing. Remember, this is the guy who went bankrupt like, what, five different times? He bankrupted a casino. The house has the advantage. How do you do that?
Starting point is 00:07:55 How do you bankrupt a casino in Atlantic City? You have the advantage. You're meant to be making money. Anyway, this is Trump ranting about it. He calls housing unimportant. And he also said, quote, it's a yawn. The bill. It's a yawn.
Starting point is 00:08:07 It hasn't been sent to me yet. It's coming. I understand. make the determination big deal. It's a yawn on the housing bill, which is so funny because just the other day when Donald Trump was supposed to be signing it, Caroline Levitt boasted about this bill, saying it's the greatest thing ever, saying tomorrow 12 p.m. on Capitol Hill, Donald Trump will sign into law the 21st century road to housing act, one of the most significant pieces of housing affordability legislation in American history. This bipartisan bill includes policies long championed
Starting point is 00:08:32 by Trump, it cuts unnecessary red tape, helps increase housing supply, and limits the ability of large institutional investors to purchase single family homes. As the president has said, homes should be owned by families, not corporations. Trump promised to lower housing costs, which he has not done. She says he's delivering. Of course, he's not doing that. And then, oh, by the way, tomorrow's historic bill signing is another promise made, promise kept.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Really? Oh, terrible timing from Caroline Levitt. Trump says it's a yawn, but Caroline Levitt calls it the most significant piece of housing legislation in modern American history. So which one is it? Is it a yawn? They just are all over the place. And I think it's so funny how Donald Trump has contradicted her by not signing the bill. And of course, housing prices are going up. This is from Donald Trump's federal government. There's a federal government website that we're looking at here.
Starting point is 00:09:21 And they are, of course, reporting on the fact that housing prices continue to go up, things continue to get more expensive. And in states where housing is in high demand, like Illinois or Alaska, Vermont, Connecticut, Kentucky, and of course, every state, the prices keep going up substantially. Now, the final clip I want to show you is Trump kicking people out of the Oval Office because the question's got a little too spicy for Donald Trump. Mr. President, Zoranban Dani said in an interview this week that he was open to being the poster child for socialist candidates. Are you worried about more socialist candidates across the United States? Well, I think it's a big threat to our nation, actually. Because it's not socialism, it's really communism.
Starting point is 00:09:57 They use the word social Democrat because it sounds so nice, but it's really communism you're talking about. I think it's the biggest threat to our nation. there is, maybe since our founding, that includes World War I, World War II, September 11th. It includes the Pearl Harbor attack. I think this is the biggest threat to our nation. People will smile when I say that, but the smart people are going to say, you know, he's probably right. It's basically introducing communism into the United States of America. There's never been anything so dangerous.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Thank you very much, everybody. Thank you, guys. Thank you guys. Thank you all. Thank you so much. Thank you guys. Thank you. Thank you. And then his handlers come in and they kick everybody out. Look, I'm not a communist. I'm definitely not a communist. I'm a liberal. I'm like a Joe Biden, Barack Obama Democrat, Kamala Harris Democrat. But the idea that people like Zohran, Mom Dani, candidates like that are the biggest threats to the United States since our founding is just like historically illiterate and just straight up stupid. I mean, if I'm calling balls and strikes, it's stupid. I think that fascism in World War II or economic concerns throughout our history or racism, misogyny, things of that nature. I mean, the list goes on.
Starting point is 00:11:15 I think those things are a far greater threat than the United States and have been greater threats to the United States than like Zoran Mamdani who wants to build roads and fill potholes. I mean, seriously, what are we doing here? So anyway, I just wanted to show you this press conference, if you want to call it that, this disaster that Donald Trump had yesterday in the Oval. office where he is exhibiting his insanity, his incompetence, you know, all of these different words you can use to describe Trump.
