Well, folks, I think it's safe to say that this completely backfired on Donald Trump and the Republicans.
Yesterday on the show, we talked about how Donald Trump was inviting a bunch of Republicans in swing states and swing districts around the country to the White House, specifically the Rose Garden, to have a dinner.
It was a crisis meeting to talk about campaign strategy and hopefully save their chances in the midterm elections in November.
They were meant to be focusing on the elections.
Donald Trump, on the other hand, decided to make it a speech all about himself.
and I would call this speech itself a crisis.
He seems to be sabotaging Republican candidates by giving them bad advice and even tearing down other Republicans.
So I'm going to show you some clips from this press conference he had at the dinner, at this gathering of Republicans.
But it was really weird, very strange stuff.
And I think we have to start with the most important point that Donald Trump made all night, folks.
Let's get into it.
I don't wear a wig.
They're meant to be talking campaign strategy and Donald Trump is talking about the
he has on his head.
Went up to the speaker and it was blowing so hard, so hard that actually, you know, for years
I had to suffer with people saying he wears a wig.
I don't wear a wig.
Okay.
I mean, like, wow, so important to the Republican Party's chances.
Listen, if Donald Trump and the Republicans want to continue to call these crisis meetings
to talk campaign strategy and then just have Trump talk about his hair, that's okay.
You guys do that.
We, the Democrats, we want to win.
We're going to have some serious conversations about how we do that.
You guys can talk about Donald Trump's hair.
That's all you.
Have a lot of fun.
Then Donald Trump went on to tear down Republican candidates, kind of doing our job for us, I guess.
He spoke about Ken Paxton, the Republican candidate for Senate in Texas, and just take a look at this very peculiar point he made in support of Ken Paxon.
Watch.
We're going to go to Texas and work for Ken Paxon.
who's a great guy.
I mean, so Ken Paxton, you might not like the way he dresses.
And I say this, it's so insulting to him, but I might as well say it.
You might not like the way he looks.
You might not love his look.
You might not love his television interviews.
But he was the best Attorney General in the country, perhaps.
He was one of the best in the entire country.
And that speaks a lot louder than the suit he's wearing that doesn't look so great.
Or than anything, frankly.
He was maybe the best attorney, and everybody admits it.
He was a great attorney general.
Wow.
Quite the endorsement there, Donald.
You might not like the way he dresses.
You might not like the way he looks.
You might not love his television interviews.
And you also might not like the suit that he's wearing that doesn't look good.
But you should vote for the guy.
Okay, quite the endorsement.
And look, Ken Paxton is in a vulnerable race right now.
It should be a Republican state, Texas.
should win, soundly, the polls are showing that that's not the case.
Tala Rico is often winning in some polls, and others are just showing that it's a very close race.
It could go either way within the margin of error.
And I don't think Ken Paxton's team is doing him any favors by posting videos like this.
They posted this six-second clip the other day, the Paxton War Room, saying, him speaking on the
future of our state and the future of the country and how that rides on this race.
And just take a look at this clip and let me know in the comments what you noticed.
But the future of our state and the future of our country rides on this race.
So I'm out fighting.
Yeah, so, wow, that was willingly posted by the Ken Paxson campaign.
Normally, this is a clip that gets leaked by the opposition campaign, but this was actually
posted by them as if it's a good thing.
People are making fun of him because he is so uncharismatic.
Like, he is not controlling a room whatsoever.
He's so boring.
You know, he doesn't have it.
It being like, what Obama?
Mama had, what Zoran Mamdani has, for example.
When they speak, you're captivated.
You want to hear what they have to say.
Ken Paxson does not have that.
He's so uncharismatic.
He's so weird.
He's just a weird guy.
And speaking of weird, man, oh man, does he have a list of scandals?
We're not going to go through all of them because there's a lot, okay?
But there are some pretty bad ones.
So, for example, he offered an admitted child molester on one day of jail.
One day of jail.
He was impeached by his own party on 20 counts of corruption, briber.
abuse of public trust and obstruction of justice.
He owns at least 15 homes across the nation worth $9 million, despite a government salary of $153,000.
He accepted $77,000 from men who allegedly assaulted women, exposed themselves to children,
and appear in the Epstein files.
He spent the 4th of July in London, America's 250th birthday this year, by the way, among many other
scandals.
Also, this one was pretty bad.
Fled to Utah during Texas' deadly 2021 winter storms.
Ted Cruz is also going to.
Cancun during that time. Republicans obviously do not care about their constituents, but I mean,
there's a lot of scandals going on here. And I don't think Donald Trump did Mr. Paxton any favors
by insulting him or the suit that he wears. I'm getting more convinced by the day that Donald
Trump wants to sabotage these Republicans in Congress to boost himself. I don't know how that makes
sense, but it kind of just seems like what Trump is doing. He's not giving them any money. He's insulting
them. It's just very weird. Then Donald Trump decides to talk about Iran and compliments Pete
Hegsseth and the bombing job that he did in Iran last night, or two nights ago, I should say. Take a
lot.
Trouble, right, Pete. You did a good job last night in Iran, by the way. You knocked the hell out of
them. Very good. We're winning that one very big, by the way, in case you haven't noticed.
We have to say it because the press hates to say it, although even the Times said that Iran's
not looking too good lately. That was a shocker when they said that, you know. They don't
have a Navy. They don't have an Air Force. They don't have any aircraft. Anything having to do with
aircraft or ships. They're all at the bottom of the sea or at the bottom of a runway. The leaders are
gone. All of their technology is gone. Their weapons are largely gone. Other than that,
the... Yeah, yeah, yeah. We've heard this story before. Number one, Iran continues to fire missiles at
the United States. So that doesn't sound like victory, nor does it sound like their military has been
completely wiped out. I'm not sure how.
that makes much sense, Donald.
Their military has been completely destroyed, but they're still firing missiles at the United
States, and we need to respond to them and continue to bomb them because they continue to bomb us.
So how does that make any sense, Donald?
Of course, it does not.
And I just want to point out that Donald Trump has time and time and time and time again,
said that there's a deal around the corner that we've won the war with Iran.
This was an analysis from NBC News back in July, July 10th.
So you can only imagine that the number is much larger, but the headline being 30,
times Trump suggested the war in Iran
was almost over. 32.
Very, very nice.
And what Trump is saying publicly is quite
different than what he's saying privately. The Wall Street
Journal is out with some new reporting
saying that privately, Trump is having
discussions with senior aides about whether
to declare the Iran war over.
Noting Trump has said he favors
the idea. Trump also believes economic
pressure will force the regime to
dismantle its nuclear program or collapse.
Okay, so great. We've won
the war, we're beating Iran, we've sunk everything, they're still bombing us, but the war is over.
Okay.
Donald Trump can't decide what he wants.
And then Trump decided to run with one of his typical lines that he keeps saying these days,
which is people don't know that the word dumb has a B in it.
And every time he says this, I have to bring up my theory as to why he's saying it.
Take a look.
So bad.
And then I said, well, if you replace the E with a U, instead of Democrat, you have Democrat,
And most people don't know that dumb has a B at the end.
You know, they think it's D-U-M and that's okay.
So it's a one-letter change and you go, no more E, you just put a D and you got to...
Okay.
So here's what I think is going on here when Donald Trump says this crap, when he talks about the word dumb.
And he says that people don't know that it has a B at the end.
Trump does this thing all the time where he says, you know, they say, or most people say, or most people think this.
And he never actually cites anybody because the...
people don't exist. I think he's most commonly referring to himself. So when he's saying most people
don't know that dumb has a bee at the end, he's saying that he recently discovered that the word
dumb has a bee in it. Previously, he didn't know that the word dumb had a be in it. Now he does,
and now he tries to justify it and make himself feel better by saying, well, other people don't know
that the word dumb has a bee in it. Everybody knows that. You don't have to be an astrophysicist to find
out that one. Donald Trump, on the other hand, is genuinely just that stupid. You know what I mean?
I just think that's what's taking place here. Then Donald Trump gave the Republicans, the swing
state Republicans, some of the worst advice that he could possibly give them. And quite frankly,
I think he should continue to give them this advice. And I think they should listen to him because it
gives us a better chance of winning. Bottom. And the bottom is communism. And it's never worked under
different names, but it's never worked. And we'll send true American patriots to the United States
Senate, to the House of Representatives, to governors' mansions, and all over the country. Because with
what we've done in just a short period of time, a year and a half, nobody's ever seen it before.
There's never been anything like it. And all you have to do is talk about it, and you're going to
win and you're going to win big. So I want to thank you all. I thank the media for...
I love it. I think that's such a good idea.
All of the Republicans running in swing states and swing districts around this country should go around talking about how great Trump is, right?
They should not separate themselves from Trump's record.
They should talk about how great Trump is.
They should talk about the economy and how inflation is higher now than when it was when Joe Biden left office, despite him saying that he would eradicate inflation on day one.
They should talk about the awful jobs reports we're getting every single month showing that we're actually losing jobs under Donald Trump.
They should talk about the Epstein files being covered up.
They should talk about health care, lapsing for millions of Americans.
People can't afford to be on their health care anymore.
They should talk about that stuff.
That's great.
Advertise the failure that is Donald Trump and see how it goes for you.
That's great advice, Donald.
Just political genius over here.
What an idiot.
Anyway, I'm not going to complain.
I will leave the video there.
