Harry Sisson breaks down Donald Trump's disastrous Easter Sunday after his threat to Iran on social media completely backfired.

Look, I think Donald Trump genuinely had one of the worst days of his second term today, and that is saying something because there have been a lot of bad days in his administration. After he put out that insane Easter post where he threatened war crimes against Iran, so many different things have just come crumbling down. He's been insulted by his own friends. There are now talks again about his mental ability, his health. There are now talks about the 25th Amendment being invoked and more. All of this happened in one day because Donald Trump thought it was a good

idea to shoot himself in the foot. So let's talk about Donald Trump's profanity-filled Easter post blowing up in his face. Let's start here with what the post actually said. You've definitely seen this by now. Tuesday will be power plant day, said Donald Trump and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one in Iran. There will be nothing like it. Open the effing straight, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in hell. Just watch. Praise be to Allah, Donald J. Trump. So he woke up angry. He woke up unhinged. And this is what he put out. The first thing Donald Trump said today was this message.

And it all just came crumbling down after that. If the president intended for his incendiary post to calm the markets, maybe that's what he was thinking. It had the opposite effect. Instead, sending oil prices even higher on Sunday, CNN reported. The cost of Brent crude rose 1.4% to a $110 and 60 cents per barrel, U.S. crude rose 1.8% to $113.30. Their highest in over three years. What happened to low in the gas prices, Donald Trump? Gas prices are at their highest since June 2022, having risen by over 38% since the war began to a national average of $4.11. So the markets have already reacted incredibly poorly to what Donald Trump said on social media, because of course they would. I mean, this is a major escalation.

Speaking of markets, meanwhile, stocks fell on Sunday after markets were closed Friday, with Dow futures down almost a percent. S&P 500 futures the same, and NASDAQ futures, the exact same as well. The Daily Beast has contacted the White House for comment, but they haven't gotten back to them. An Iranian official responded to Trump's truth social post by asserting that the straight will remain closed until the country is, quote, fully compensated for the damage it has suffered during Trump's war. He also dismissed Trump's threats as a sign that the United States has.

resorted to obscenities and nonsense out of sheer desperation and anger, which unfortunately really doesn't seem like an inaccurate description of Donald Trump. I'm never going to play defense for Iran, defend this spokesperson, or defend anything that Iran does. It's a brutal, oppressive regime, but it does appear that Donald Trump is somewhat desperate. I mean, if he's putting out something like that at 8 in the morning, you know, I don't think he's sane. The renewed threats came less than a week after Trump claimed that the U.S. did not need the Strait of Hormuz in his Wednesday address to the nation, saying, quote, the United States imports almost no oil through the Hormuz Strait and won't be taking any

in the future. We don't need it. Well, now Donald Trump has changed his tune, unsurprisingly. The president has repeatedly leveled threats at Iran in an attempt to force it to reopen the straight, including threatening to strike vital infrastructure, which we read today. He did the same thing again. The United Nations, Iran's mission to the United Nations said on Sunday, quote, once again, the U.S. president openly threatens to destroy infrastructure essential to

civilian survival in Iran, quote, the international community and all states have legal obligations to prevent such atrocities and acts of war crimes. They must act now. Tomorrow is too late. On Thursday, dozens of international law experts signed an open letter expressing profound concern about violations of international law made by the United States. So not only are we being condemned on the world stage, but the markets are falling, gas prices are going up, but in addition to all of these things, it actually got even worse for Donald Trump. Because as I mentioned, new questions have risen about his health, and there's some conversations going on about the 25th Amendment. Dr. Vin Gupta, a medical analyst at MS now, a very highly

respected medical professional, responded to Donald Trump's post by saying this on social media, erratic, can't finish sentences, often confused, illogical train of thought, word finding difficulties, developing and worsening gradually over time, the president is exhibiting all the signs of dementia. And on top of this, we have members of Congress calling for the 25th Amendment to be invoked. And as the day went on, and after Donald Trump put out this post, the numbers only grew. We have Senator Chris Murphy saying, if I were in Trump's cabinet, I would spend Easter calling constitutional lawyers about the 25th Amendment. This is completely utterly unhinged. He's already killed thousands. He's going to kill thousands more. He wasn't

the only one. Representative Melanie Stansberry. The emperor has no clothes. Time for the 25th Amendment, Congress and the cabinet must act. And yes. Yeah, I completely agree. We are currently being led by somebody who is in a manic state. He is spiraling. He is collapsing. It is incredibly concerning. And I think it really should be worrying for every American that Donald Trump is the guy currently leading the United States.

He's the guy with access to the nuclear codes. And look, as Dr. Vin Gupta said, not only does Donald Trump, you know, obviously have some form of mental decline. He is genuinely manic right now. I think he's very much so in a crazy state. Congresswoman Ansari said the 25th Amendment exists for a reason. the president of the United States is a deranged lunatic and a national security threat to our country and the rest of the world. And on top of this, it gets even worse for Donald Trump, if you can even believe it. I have more examples. I came prepared with receipts on top of the 24th Amendment.

On top of everything we read in that article, on top of the medical conversation, Iran is now publicly trolling Donald Trump. This is the guy who has this fake bravado on all the time. He loves to pretend that he's so macho and everybody's so scared of him and he's so powerful. and yet Iran, the country we're currently at war with, is mocking him on social media every day, and the posts are going viral. I mean, the one on your screen right now was posted today after Donald Trump's social media post has 2.1 million views, 26,000 likes. The Iran embassy in Zimbabwe said, we've lost the keys in reference to the Strait of Hormuz.

They don't have the keys to open it up. The Iran embassy of South Africa said, the keys under the flower pot just open for friends. So multiple different Iranian embassies around the world are mocking Donald Trump. And here's another one. Here's another post. The regime change happened successfully, MAGA, and they're referencing photos of these different military generals and officials that Pete Hegsef has gotten rid of.

They're mocking our regime change that is taking place. And Pete Hegsef, who increasingly appears delusional and paranoid, is firing everybody. All of these really experienced military generals, Pete Hegsef is saying, you got to get out of here. Iran is publicly trolling Donald Trump. And the final thing I want to point out in Donald Trump's disaster Sunday, disaster Easter Sunday, is that his own friends are turning on him. People who have spoken highly of him, people who have openly said that they are friends are saying Donald Trump is a little bit off the rocker. Here's Ann Coulter saying, I really wish Ann Coulter. I really wish legal experts hadn't screamed bloody murder about everything little thing Trump did so they could speak with authority now that he's actually committing war crimes.

Now, do I agree with the substance of what she's saying in terms of, you know, trashing these legal experts who have given their opinion on Donald Trump? No, because these legal experts are right and Anne Coulter doesn't know the law. But then she adds at the end that he is, in fact, committing war crimes, that she also agrees with that assessment. Here's another one. Pierce Morgan, who has Donald Trump's phone number. They like chat on the phone sometimes.

He included Donald Trump's post in his tweet saying, this is embarrassing, delete it at Donald Trump, unless you want everyone to think you've lost your. Marbles, which I think we can all conclusively say that Donald Trump has lost his marbles. So all of this, the markets, the mental conversation, Iran trolling Donald Trump, the 25th Amendment conversation and just everything broadly, all of this happened in one day for Donald Trump. All of it happened on Easter Sunday.

What a disaster day for Donald Trump. What a disaster day for his administration and quite frankly, a disaster day for the United States of America. we all are suffering right now. Our reputation on the world stage has been completely tainted, and it's all because of Trump and his goons, the people that serve in his administration. So look, I will leave the video there.
