Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, folks, check this out. Some pretty significant intelligence on the war with Iran just leaked, and it was reported by the Washington Post, and it completely contradicts everything that Donald Trump has been saying. I mean, he's been out there saying the war has gone perfectly. It's a 15 out of 10 that they've obliterated Iran. The regime is in Tatters. There's no coming back from this. But now, U.S. Intel, which is highly reliable, says Iran's regime is consolidating power.
Starting point is 00:00:26 They are not breaking down. They're not crumbling. their consolidating power. And according to this article, which we'll get into in just a moment, the supporters inside Iran are becoming even more hardline than they wore before. Even more anti-United States and their leaders are becoming even more anti-United States. So anything that Trump has been saying about this war for the past three weeks that's been going on, complete lie, because Intel is saying something different. We're going to get into this story. We'll talk about it all. Before I do that, please make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know
Starting point is 00:00:58 what you think about this story. If you're on Apple or Spotify, please make sure to follow along and rate the show five stars. I greatly appreciate you. And let's just start with this video of Donald Trump yesterday at a roundtable at the White House. We've spoken frequently on this show about the incompetence that Donald Trump shows in this war. He has no idea what he's doing, no idea what's happening in the world around him, and CNN put together a compilation. This all took place in the same roundtable where Donald Trump would contradict himself just minutes later. They have the timestamps on the video, and you can see that 30 minutes before he says one thing, and then 30 minutes later, he says the exact opposite of that thing.
Starting point is 00:01:34 It's just remarkable. He has no idea what he's doing. If we ever needed help, they won't be there for us. I've just known that for a long period of time. We have some that are really enthusiastic. They're coming already. This is a need. Need would be one of the big boys.
Starting point is 00:01:50 If we need their mind boats, or if we need anything, any piece of assets, apparatus that they may have because of a situation that they have, they should be jumping to help us. We want them to come and help us with the straight. My attitude is we don't need anybody. We're the strongest nation in the world. We have the strongest military by far in the world. We don't need them. Did you follow that?
Starting point is 00:02:19 No, CNN, I love this frame that it paused on. That is exactly my reaction. I don't know. I didn't follow that. I have no idea what he's talking about. He says one thing and then contradicts himself just minutes later. So do we need them or do we not need them? Are country is interested?
Starting point is 00:02:34 Are they not interested in helping us? He cannot make up his mind. That's why you can never trust a word out of Donald Trump's mouth on any of these things. But you can trust U.S. Intel and U.S. Intel is contradicting Trump. So let's get into it. U.S. intelligence says that Iran's regime is consolidating power. Despite more than two weeks of relentless air strikes, U.S. intelligence assessments say that Iran's regime will likely remain in place for now, weakened but more hardline with the powerful Islamic
Starting point is 00:03:01 Revolutionary Guard Corps security forces exerting greater control. The United States and Israel have significantly degraded Iran's missile capability and Navy removed the Supreme Leader and wiped out scores of top military and intel leaders, but the war's costs are mounting. I mean, at least $12 billion so far, probably far more than that. You know, 13 U.S. troops killed, many more injured, many still in the hospital because of their injuries, and of course, Iran is closing down the Strait of Hormuz. Western officials and analysts who study Iran say they see little near-term prospect of a regime change end to the 47-year-old
Starting point is 00:03:37 Islamic Republic or the rise of a more democratic government. And just remember, Donald Trump went into this with the obvious goal of regime change, or at least that's part of what he said. He kind of flirted with that idea, but he had no plan for how that actually takes place. So he took out the Ayatollah, celebrated taking out the Ayatollah, which, again, let me read reiterate, the Ayatollah was a bad dude. He did bad things to Americans. He did bad things to Iranians. But he took him out and then just kind of threw up his hands and said, okay. And we're all like, well, what's next? Well, he doesn't have any idea. Donald Trump has no idea what's next. That's the problem. So, you know, there's little near-term prospect of regime change.
Starting point is 00:04:13 There doesn't seem to be a more democratic government in Iran after this. The latter is a goal cited by, of course, Benjamin Netanyahu, Donald Trump's best friend. And sometimes Trump, who said he'll know the war is over when I feel it in my bones. Whatever the hell that means. U.S. Intel assessments issued, since the war began, predict Iran's regime will remain intact and possibly even emboldened. Great job, Trump. Oh, wonderful.
Starting point is 00:04:38 So you went into Iran. Americans died. We spent billions of dollars doing it. And now this regime, which, according to U.S. intel, will likely remain intact, hates the United States even more. They're more emboldened to do bad things both at home and abroad. Just wonderful, masterful. gambit from Donald Trump, the art of the deal. I mean, God, believing it stood up to Trump and survived,
Starting point is 00:05:01 according to two people familiar with the assessments who spoke anonymously, U.S. Arab allies in the Persian Gulf, meanwhile, are angered and alarmed at being the targets of retaliatory barrages of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones. And that's the truth. I mean, a lot of our allies in the Middle East are just being bombarded by Iran. And I imagine they can't help but feel a little betrayed by the United States because, you know, our homeland, at least, is not being bombed. One European official said the likelyest post-war scenario is a rump IRGC regime in Tehran that will retain some nuclear and missile capability as well as the support of regional proxies, though the regime will be degraded enough that we're in a better place than we were. Okay. So now,
Starting point is 00:05:40 in addition to them being emboldened and having the regime remain in place, they will also maintain some nuclear capability. So so far, all of the goals that Donald Trump laid out for this war are proving to not be achievable. At least, with the way that he's going about it. Great. So what did we do this for? What did those 13 Americans die for? What did we spend billions of dollars for? None of his goals are being achieved. And I guarantee that whenever this ends, whether it goes on for his entire term or whatever, he will declare victory. He already has. I mean, he's already said, I'm so great. I've done everything wonderfully. But when it really comes to an end, whenever that may be, he will say, we did it. Mission accomplished.
Starting point is 00:06:19 You know, we know Trump. Trump has been receiving very sobering briefings on the U.S. Intel said one of the two people familiar with them. And he was told of the likelihood of a more entrenched IRGC before he gave the go-ahead to jointly launch the war with Iran. So he was actually told this ahead of time. They said it wasn't just predictable. It was predicted. Trump was told in advance. So he knew this was going to happen and just said, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:06:47 Let's do it. Let's go right in. oh man, this guy, this guy. US allies in the Gulf say they are furious with the Trump admin as the conflict roars into a third week. Quote, they started this war for Israel and then left us to face the attacks by ourselves, said a senior Arab official from the Gulf. In the lead up to the conflict, he said Trump admin officials told allies that any military confrontation would be quick, but now it's clear Iran wants to draw out the conflict to inflict pain on its neighbors.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Quote, we don't have a plan for a long-term war. We need to finish it as soon as possible, the official said. U.S. Allies in the Gulf had deployed attack helicopters and warplanes to shoot down Iranian drones targeting their territory, but have not taken offensive actions just yet. So we've not only spent, as we've just discussed, billions of dollars lost American lives, but we're now further alienating our allies. They are furious with us that we've kind of left them out to dry, which I really think they should have seen coming. Again, we're dealing with Donald Trump. He's not exactly a mystery man at this point. You know, we kind of know his tendencies when it comes to our allies.
Starting point is 00:07:49 If they need help, you know, he's not going to do anything for them. Any promise that Donald Trump makes to a neighboring country should always be taken with a grain of salt, which is really sad to say, you know, as Joe Biden would say, the words of a president matter. So you'd hope that whoever the leader is, they're able to keep their side of a deal. And that's never been Donald Trump. But moving on, nonetheless, officials and analysts say there are no overt, no overt, excuse me, signs of cracks and defections within Iran's power structure. A classified pre-war intelligence assessment by the National Intel Council concluded that even a large-scale assault on Iran launched by the U.S.
Starting point is 00:08:23 would be unlikely to oust its entrenched military and clerical establishment. And on top of that, inside Iran, regime supporters have grown more hardline in two weeks of war, according to an advisor to the Iranian president. Initially, he said the punishing tempo of U.S. and Israeli strikes much greater than the attacks over the summer that Trump launched was terrifying. but now people are less afraid. He said, you see the people are there and standing their ground. A number of senior Iranian officials made their first public appearance since the war started on Friday, joining thousands marching in the streets of Tehran to commemorate Quidd's Day, the last day of the holy month of Ramadan. So, so far, essentially what Donald Trump has achieved is spending billions, killing Americans, having the United States involved in another war, and the Iranian regime is not going anywhere.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Matter of fact, they're digging in even more. Their supporters are digging in even more. And the Revolutionary Guard in Iran is exerting more power and control over the people. Once again, masterful gambit. You know, even though this was predicted, even though this was part of the intelligence assessments that Donald Trump was given before the war, and he was told that this is likely, he still went ahead with it anyway, and now we are here. And so this intel leak is really bad for Donald Trump,
Starting point is 00:09:42 because genuinely just completely contradicts everything he's been trying to tell the American people. Any attempt he's made at selling this war to the people are refuted by this article in and of itself. It's devastating. So please make sure to share the story around. I will leave it there. I don't want to take up too much of your time. Make sure to subscribe down below. Drop a like on the video.
