Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, folks, Donald Trump, his administration, and his supporters got some pretty terrible news in the middle of the night last night that has really rocked the MAGA movement to its core. The reality about Trump and the people that support him is that they actually believe that the majority of the American people look at what Trump is doing and they agree. They actually like what Trump is doing according to them. But that is just simply not the reality. people who voted for him with the idea of making things cheaper or making the economy better are now regretting their vote. Not only because Trump is breaking that promise, but they're seeing the insane things that he's doing on a daily basis every hour of the damn day, it feels like. And they're showing up to send a message. And that's the news that Donald Trump and the Republicans got last night.
Starting point is 00:00:47 They lost a crucial election in the Republican state of Iowa, and it wasn't close. Now, mind you, this is a district that Donald Trump won in 2024, and last night in this Senate special election, they lost big time. I want to dive into this story with you and then show you Donald Trump's reaction. I guess we can call it to this after. So let's just dive in here with just the results. Let's start here before we get into the data or anything in particular. Caitlin Dre, the candidate in the Iowa State Senate won special election general, won 54.5% of the vote. 3,900 votes or closer to 4,000, and the Republican candidate, Christopher Prosh, a MAGA guy, won
Starting point is 00:01:31 45.5% of the vote or around 3,300 votes. Now, I want to remind you again that this is a district that Donald Trump won in 2024. In 2024, it was Trump plus 12, Trump plus 12, and now a Democrat has won it. It's a 21% swing to the Democrats. That's huge. in a Republican state like Iowa, a state that's voted for Donald Trump three times and quite frankly in 2024, unfortunately, it wasn't close. Donald Trump won resoundingly, especially in this district. For that to happen, when Donald Trump is out there telling all of us that his agenda is the most popular in American history, everybody loves what Donald Trump is doing. He just has such a successful administration. Nobody wants to talk about that. That's the line that Donald Trump is
Starting point is 00:02:20 running with right now. The voters are saying, uh, no. No, not at all. And this is one of many different special elections that are planned or have already happened in Donald Trump's term. In some that have already happened, Democrats have won big as well. Here's some other pretty stunning data about this victory last night that you need to know about because when I read it, I was shocked. So number one, this is a 20 point overperformance by Democrats from 2024 when Trump won the
Starting point is 00:02:47 district by 11 points. But here's the really, really crucial thing about this victory. This flip also now ends the GOP supermajority in Iowa. The Republicans had a super majority where they controlled everything in the state of Iowa. Both legislators, of course, the governorship, the auditor position, every position in Iowa that you can think of, Republicans got it, right? Every legislator, they have it. This now ends that supermajority. That's how crucial this election was.
Starting point is 00:03:19 And I want to show you, before we dive in to Donald Trump's lack of response, He didn't really talk about it, but you'll just see what he was talking about in the middle of the night. I want to show you some responses from members of the Democratic Party, whether they be elected officials or people that work at the DNC like Ken Martin, the chair of the party. He responded to this victory by saying we deployed our distributed organizing team of over 30,000 volunteers to help Iowa Democrats and Caitlin Dre's campaign get out the vote. This is the result. Make no mistake. When Democrats organize everywhere, we win everywhere. I love that message.
Starting point is 00:03:55 There should not be a place in this country that we ignore. There are so many people out there who, when they hear the Democratic Party's ideas, personal freedom, economic freedom, economic prosperity, among the many other things that Democrats stand for, they're convinced. They like that message. What do you know? People like controlling their own bodies. They like controlling their own wallets and they like having roads that are paved in hospitals that they can go to if they need. What do you know? And Ken Martin is right.
Starting point is 00:04:20 When we talk to these folks, when we can't. everywhere. We can win everywhere. I firmly believe that. Here's another one from Jasmine Crockett, the fantastic representative from Texas who really gets under the skin of the Maga Republicans. She said, so that redistricting is being done because, well, real people know Trump ain't real. He is as fake as they come. He only approves of fake news outlets, fake news reporters, fake news in general, but on planet Earth, we see things clearly. Congrats to the people of Iowa for showing us how it's done. It's a 20-point swing in rural is head exploding emoji.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Texas won't fail the assignment. We too will have historic swings to remind the Timu Hitler that we the people have the power. Congrats Iowa Senator Dre. Love Jasmine Crockett. Love her energy that she brings to the job. And that's exactly right. This is a point I actually wanted to make, which is the reason that we are seeing these Republicans redistrict across the country.
Starting point is 00:05:16 The reason we are seeing them trying to cheat. Let's just be honest about what they're doing. Trying to cheat is because of results like this. because in rural Iowa, rural Iowa, a place where Donald Trump won by double digit points, they're losing. They are losing there. Every poll shows Donald Trump's approval rating underwater. Every poll shows the Republicans behind in the 2026 midterms. Every poll has them losing.
Starting point is 00:05:41 So what do they do? They try to cheat. And just the other day, to give you an update, if you haven't seen it, the Texas Senate approved the maps that they had drawn up to read district. the congressional maps that Greg Abbott demanded of them, giving them an additional five extra seats in Texas. They made blue seats redder. They eliminated blue seats altogether in Texas, especially around big cities like Austin. And let's be clear about this, they pushed this plan, of course, over fierce democratic opposition. And the reason was to help the GOP hold on to its congressional majority.
Starting point is 00:06:16 That's what it was. It's not for fairness. It's for cheating. Let's just be honest about this. Now, as I mentioned, all this is. fantastic news. All this is devastating news for the Republican Party. And I wanted to show you Trump's response or lack thereof the only post that he put out so far since the election victory in Iowa. And of course, he's retweeted things. He's put out videos from, you know, Fox News. But for example,
Starting point is 00:06:41 you have crime numbers are way down in D.C. Amazing progress being made. There's a military occupation in D.C. right now. I guess he thinks that's a good idea. There are far better ways to fight crime than the National Guard. But, you know, what does a convicted felon know? Or this one, Republicans ban mail in voting, just a random statement that he's putting out at 1245 in the morning. Grandpa, I think it might be time to go to bed, don't you think? But here's the one I really wanted to focus on. 156 in the morning, the president is awake, and he's posting, quote, there's a sick rumor going around that fake news ABC extended the contract of one of the least talented late night television hosts out there, Seth Myers.
Starting point is 00:07:17 He has no ratings, talent, or intelligence, and the personality of an insecure child. He's really engaging in a lot of projection here. I digress. So why would fake news NBC extend this dope's contract? I don't know, but I'll definitely be finding out. Number one, what a child. I mean, this man is, and I've said this before, he is a child stuck in an unfortunate grown man's body. He doesn't have the best build. We all know that. What a child, what an immature statement to be making as president of the United States. He continues his war on late night hosts. I guess he was awake watching late night television at this point. But this is the part that really concerned me the most. The I don't know, but I'll be finding out. It's just continuing the trend of
Starting point is 00:07:56 dictatorial desires from Donald Trump. Like, what does he mean? Is he going to investigate the contract that a private company is giving somebody to work for them? Is that the president of the United States role now? The Republicans who preached capitalism are now sticking their hands in private companies and trying to interfere with contracts they're handing out. Absurdity. But that's what the president of the United States was doing last night, 156 in the morning, instead of, you know, acknowledging his impending doom in the Republican Party. But nonetheless, I just had to show you. Let's not focus on Trump too much.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Let's focus on this fantastic news. I had to show you the result. I think it's wonderful. I hope you agree. I imagine you do. Look, folks, I really thought I'd never see the day. But this actually just happened. Joe Rogan just called out Donald Trump's election fraud lies on his podcast in front of his audience of millions.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Now, this is incredibly significant because Joe Rogan is someone who endorsed Donald Trump in 2024, voted for him in that election, and he supported Trump all the way up until his inauguration. But recently, Rogan has been critical of Trump, especially on the immigration front, which we have covered on this channel. And it's also really important because Joe Rogan's audience is a significant demographic of voters, young men who swung the election toward Donald Trump. So him in this position of influence being critical of Trump is a pretty big deal.
Starting point is 00:09:22 So I want to play this clip for you where they provide a side by side of Joe Rogan in the present day being critical of Donald Trump for his election fraud lies. And then they include a clip of Donald Trump on Rogan's podcast being confronted for these lies. It's a really good clip, a really good side by side. Before we dive into this clip, though, I want to point out that Joe Rogan is doing this podcast with a comedian Dave Smith. This is also somebody who voted for Donald Trump, but has now turned critical of him. And recently, in an interview, he actually apologized for voting for Donald Trump and said that he should be impeached. That's the flip that you're seeing in so many MAGA celebrities who once were super MAGA, and now they take a different approach.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Take a look at this clip, and then we'll dive into the Rogan clip after. About coming back to the negotiating table. It's like sitting after Pearl Harbor and telling FDR, now is that. the time to go negotiate with the Japanese. Negotiations are over now. The time for negotiations was before this. And so, yeah, Donald Trump, listen, man, I supported him this last year. I apologized for doing so. It was a bad calculation. At the time, it seemed like the right one. But he should be impeached and removed for this one. And not on some, like, not on some ridiculous Nancy Pelosi. Of course, the Congress will never do it because they're all a bunch of, you know,
Starting point is 00:10:42 corrupt acts. This is the one thing they support. This is like, though, yeah. Donald Trump, should be impeached and removed for this. All of his supporters should turn on him. It's the absolute betrayal of everything that he ran and campaigned on and everything that he stood for. And I will say, despite the fact that, you know, Donald Trump supporters have been labeled like a cult following. And that certainly is true for a percentage of his supporters.
Starting point is 00:11:05 He is going to lose his coalition over this. I don't just speak for myself when I say there are a lot of us who simply will not go along with this. So it's just a devastating mistake, by the way, on top of that. This was in relation to Donald Trump's attacks on Iran. Remember that whole thing that happened with Iran and him going after Iran, him bombing Iran. That was in relation to that. He felt betrayed over Donald Trump's policy where he said, no more war.
Starting point is 00:11:32 And then Donald Trump engaged in a lot of war, drone striking another country. And so far, since that moment, Dave Smith has been unequivocal in his disdain of Donald Trump. And it shows up in this clip as well. So let's finally dive into this Rogan clip, and you can see just how annoyed. Rogan and Dave Smith appear with Donald Trump, of course, and his second administration. Let's start here. So I agree with all of that. I'm just saying, like, once you've made these statements and your administration is in.
Starting point is 00:12:01 No, I remember. It was one of the most interesting parts of your podcast with him was like, when you asked him about that, it was like, you really didn't have anything to back it up. If that was you or if that was me, I mean, there was some reason why I knew. that they did something and I could give you all the facts. I would have that ready for anybody because for four fucking years, they've been telling him he's crazy for questioning the election. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:25 So after four years, I'd have a fucking tight 10 minutes on the election where I could just rattle off at you and rock your world with it. Like, these are the facts, Jack. See, they're going to get into the Trump clip in a moment of when he went on Joe Rogan's podcast. But I still think, in my personal view, that Joe Rogan, is being a little soft on Donald Trump here. He's saying, you know, if that were me, I'd have a 10-minute spiel on how the election was unfair, according to Donald Trump in 2020. He's still
Starting point is 00:12:55 running with that in the year 2025. That's what Joe Rogan was hoping of Donald Trump. That was never going to happen because the election wasn't stolen. The election was fair. So what Joe Rogan really should be saying here is like, of course Donald Trump didn't have a pitch. Of course Donald Trump didn't have any evidence or facts because those don't. exist. You're trying to basically what Donald Trump was trying to do on that podcast is prove that leprechauns, unicorns, and Bigfoot exist. And they're all just roaming around us. We can't see them. That's the same level of conspiracy that Donald Trump was engaging in. So I still think that Rogan is being a little soft on Donald Trump here, but, you know, the saying will take 70%
Starting point is 00:13:35 instead of 0%. We want 100% from Rogan being very critical of Trump, but we'll take 70% of him, you know, calling out these election lies. Let's continue. You were robbed. in 2020. Yeah, totally. How do you think you were robbed? Everybody always cuts you off. I'm going to allow- Well, they not only cut you, well, what I'd rather do is we'll do it another time,
Starting point is 00:13:54 and I would bring in papers that you would not believe so many different papers. That election was so crooked. It was the most crooked election. Okay, but give me some examples of how. Well, let's start on the top and the easy ones. Okay. They were supposed to get legislative approval to do the things they did, and they didn't get it. In many cases, they didn't get it.
Starting point is 00:14:16 What things? Anything. Legislative approval of... Like for extensions of the voting, for voting earlier, for this, all different things. By law, they had to get legislative approvals. You don't have to go any further than that. If you take a look at Wisconsin, they
Starting point is 00:14:34 virtually admitted that the election was rigged, robbed, and stolen. They wouldn't give access in certain areas to the ballots because the ballots weren't signed. They weren't originals. They were,
Starting point is 00:14:49 we could go into the stuff. We could go into the ballots or we could go into the overall. I'll give you another one. Are you going to present this ever? Like, I can't. That cut off is brutal. So,
Starting point is 00:15:06 you know, I don't, I just can't believe. Are you going to present this ever? Uh, you know, that's a perfect encapsulation of Donald Trump's. election fraud lies. I mean, that's what it's always been. And all the, first of all, Donald Trump
Starting point is 00:15:19 didn't actually provide any examples of things going wrong with the election. He said they needed legislative approval. All of these courts have the power to grant extensions for mail and ballots to be signed or cured for signatures to be fixed. That all goes through the core process. You don't need to go through the legislator in the state. That's just total nonsense. The other examples Donald Trump provided weren't examples. He's just making stuff up on the spot. But that's exactly what Joe Rogan is talking about there. He didn't have examples. He's never had examples. That's the M.O. of Donald Trump. He makes these outlandish claims. You know this. I'm preaching to the choir here. He makes these outlandish claims. And then if he gets a little bit of pushback, just a little bit,
Starting point is 00:16:01 even from a friendly podcast host at the time, like Joe Rogan, he crumbles. And he goes, uh, you know, I don't know if I'm actually ever going to present that because it doesn't exist. there is no evidence. And so Joe Rogan, and this side-by-side-by-side clip is genuinely fantastic, kind of comparing what he's saying now versus the interview he had then. So Joe Rogan calling this out on this podcast with Dave Smith saying like, you know, he had nothing, he had no answer, he had no evidence truly is a good sign. And as I mentioned, I'll take 70% instead of 0%. If Joe Rogan criticizes Trump, even just a little bit, I take that as a win. As somebody who works in the content creation space and sees how Republicans misuse it,
Starting point is 00:16:42 and misuse folks like Joe Rogan, I'll take the win. Folks, the video I'm about to show you should absolutely terrify Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, especially because the 2026 midterms are right around the corner. Yesterday, Republican Senator from Maine, Susan Collins, decided to go to a public ribbon-cutting ceremony in Searsport, Maine, and it's safe to say it totally backfired on her. entire crowd wasn't happy to have her. Many people were chanting, shame, shame, shame as she was standing there. And she tried to speak over the crowd and get them to quiet down. But they refused because Susan Collins, who is apparently always concerned about Donald Trump's behavior,
Starting point is 00:17:29 has enabled him for years, voting in favor of his Supreme Court Justice nominees, voting in favor of lower court judges, voting in favor of his disastrous policy when the people of Maine are showing up. And this video is so significant because, and I say this with a smile on my face, Susan Collins is up for re-election in 2026 and she's running. Maine is a pickup, a possible pickup opportunity for the Democrats. And when you're seeing videos like this coming out of a state like that, it should really raise some alarm bells for the Republican. So I want to show you this clip. I'm not going to waste any time here. Before I do so, make sure to subscribe to the channel, drop a like on the video. Comment down below. Let me know what you think about this
Starting point is 00:18:08 clip. Without further ado, let's dive in here. And last thing I'll say, this audio you're about to hear is real. It's not enhanced. It's real. Take a look. Shade! There's no celebration to regain. So could you just... You're not so slim yourself. Could you please just listen for just one? No! No! Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Just listen. You have voted for our lives. I just want to pause right here before we finish the video. I love these folks who are in this room giving her health. Because, you know what she just said there? She said, can you please just let me celebrate? No, no, no. What an out of touch thing to say.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Absolutely not. You can't celebrate your ribbon cutting. Are you kidding me? There are millions of Americans right now who are going to be cut from Medicare and Medicaid. They will be kicked off. They will no longer have health insurance. So if they get in a tragic accident or get diagnosed with an awful disease, they have no answer because of the Republican Party. Millions of people are being cut off their food assistance.
Starting point is 00:20:31 Kids will go to bed hungry undoubtedly because of this Republican Party. But Susan Collins says, hey, can I just celebrate for a second? No. Your job is to protect these people. And now your constituents, people that may be voted for you, are going hungry. It's so gross how the Republicans approach the outrage from the big, ugly, bill. They just kind of brush it aside and pretend it's not real. It's so frustrating. Let's continue and we'll talk about it after.
Starting point is 00:21:20 so hard with state, local, and with me to bring today about to be able to celebrate. What about God? Why? Why should we wait? Why should we wait? Disgraceful. It really is disgraceful, man. It really is disgraceful. And it's frustrating for me as an American. I know you at home as well to watch this Republican senator who has tremendous influence, tremendous power in the United States Senate, to just say, well, you know, I hear you, but maybe we do this instead. And her solution, her suggestion that she was making to the crowd, included no answers for what the Republican Party is doing. This is humiliating for not only Susan Collins, but also Donald Trump and the Republican Party.
Starting point is 00:22:14 They really expected the American people to go along with their big, ugly bill, their disastrous policies, their kidnapping of people off the street with, mass federal agents just throwing them in the back of the car? No, people are fed up. And I am happy to announce that this Senate race in Maine on the Democratic side is heating up. We have a candidate here who I'm not endorsing per se because I kind of want to stay out of the primary in Maine. I don't live there, so it's not really my avenue. But Graham Platner is running for Senate in Maine. He's an average everyday guy. And I just want to show you a little bit of his page on Twitter to give you an idea of who he is as his campaign ramps up.
Starting point is 00:22:52 And of course, as more people enter the race, we will cover them too. This channel's not just about bashing on Republicans. It's also about uplifting people who can make a difference in the Democratic Party. Let's just take a look. Full houses in Sullivan, population of 1,200. Sorrento, wow, 279 people in Orleans,
Starting point is 00:23:10 2,200, we're building something big enough to win. Find a town hall near you. See, he's actually doing town halls. How about this? How to win over Trump supporters? It's not complicated. Let's see what he has to say here. But I am going to drag along some of them.
Starting point is 00:23:23 And I know that because I work next to them on the boat launch. And we bitch every day we sit down drinking coffee at the bottom of the Sullivan boat launch complaining about rich people stealing our money, complaining about a health care system that's falling apart, and complaining about the fact that none of our friends and family can afford a place to live. We talk about those things. And we all agree on it. It's funny. Over the past week, people am like, how are you going to talk to Trump supporters?
Starting point is 00:23:46 I'm like, what are you kidding me? I do it every day, man. I like this guy's vibe. I like this guy's vibe so far. I like what I'm seeing. I can't lie. Here's another one I really liked where somebody on Reddit asked him, just curious where you stand on LGBTQ plus IA rights and freedoms.
Starting point is 00:24:01 And he said, I stand right in the effing way of anyone who's going to try to come after the freedoms of the LGBTQ plus community. I like that too. This is a guy that stands for freedom, not only freedom for members of the LGBT plus community, but anybody in the United States. He stands for economic freedom, having a place to live. you know, being able to afford a damn house nowadays. I like what I'm seeing.
Starting point is 00:24:23 So Susan Collins, when she's having, you know, public moments like this and she's trying to suppress the crowd, kind of ignore them, maybe Susan Collins should wake up to the reality that people don't like her and people don't like the Republican Party and what they're doing. And the last thing I'll point out is that this is not just happening in Maine. Republicans anywhere they go are getting this kind of pushback. For example, just yesterday, Josh Breaching, a. Republican in the Republican state of Oklahoma, huge Republican state. I think the most Republican
Starting point is 00:24:54 state in the country, if my memory is correct, I could be wrong, decided to hold a town hall. And one of his constituents asked, can he tell me what specific bills we have passed or worked on that would lower grocery prices? And he said, you're talking about things relative to state level. You're mixing federal and state. What an insult to the woman that asked the question because Donald Trump went around saying, we're going to pass all these bills to lower all these prices. And now that's not happening. And he just blames the woman. for asking what the Republicans have done with the House, with the Senate, with the presidency, with the Supreme Court that they all control.
Starting point is 00:25:24 And the answer is nothing. They've only hurt people. So look, just had to show you this video of Susan Collins getting destroyed in public. And of course, as I said, this channel is not just about hitting on Republicans. It's also about uplifting voices who are actually fighting for people. Graham Platner, Combat Veteran, Average Everyday Guy. I like what I'm seeing so far, but I'll leave the video there. Thank you so much for watching.
Starting point is 00:25:47 I appreciate you being here. And as I always say, I greatly appreciate you. And I hope you have an amazing rest of your deck.
