All right, folks, check this out.
For the first time, Donald Trump is finally addressing his disastrous state fair in Washington, D.C.
And the awful attendance.
And you can probably guess what he's saying about it.
He's saying it's great.
The media is getting it wrong.
Only he could put on such a great event.
It's like what we always hear from Donald Trump.
Matter of fact, before we even read the statement,
let me know in the comments your early prediction for what Trump is going to say about it,
because I'm confident that every single one of you are going to get it exactly right.
So let's get into the statement.
the story as a whole because a lot has happened with the state fair over the past 24 hours.
I ask also that you subscribe down below, drop a like on the video, comment.
Let me know what you think about the story as well.
It all goes such an incredibly long way in supporting me, the show, and independent media.
And without further ado, let's not waste any time.
Let's just get right into the statement that Trump made about it at 627 this morning.
So he either woke up angry or was up all night.
You never really know with Donald Trump anymore.
He said, do you think people appreciate what a fantastic job we did?
in building and operating the great American state fair at the National Mall.
Packed with happy people, he says.
Packed.
Okay?
And everybody loving it, he says, ask yourself this simple question.
Do you think that Obama?
Is that his new nickname for Obama?
Obama?
Wow.
He really doesn't have anything anymore for these guys.
Or Joe Biden could have done it.
The answer is no.
You know what?
I actually agree with Donald Trump.
I don't think Joe Biden or Barack Obama would have put on such a crappy event.
Only Donald Trump and only Trump could have put on a state fair this bad.
I mean, state fairs are fun.
There's food.
There's fried food.
There's events.
There's things to watch.
It's meant to be fun.
And somehow Donald Trump took a fun concept, something that's inherently fun and ruined it.
So only Trump could put on such a terrible event.
If it was Joe Biden or Barack Obama doing it, it would have been way better.
And I just want to quickly address everything that Donald Trump has said in this post
because he has claimed and routinely claimed that this state,
Fair has been packed. He just said it there. After he gave his speech on the opening night, he said that
45,000 people attended, which we're also going to talk about in just a moment. None of that has
been true. And we're getting viral videos out of the state fair showing that it is anything but
packed. I mean, there's like five people in this video that you're watching on your screen right now,
and this was the middle of the day. This is a time when people should be at the state fair. The
weather has been nice. It's been sunny. The food is being cooked, I guess. And nobody is there. Nobody,
unbelievable crowd. Look at how many patriots are standing at Donald Trump's state fair.
Just disastrous. And here is a video of the line the other day. The line to get in. It's a ghost town.
I'm dead serious. There are like more MAGA haters in my comments than there are people at this fair.
I'm so serious. This is empty. It's embarrassing. This event really could have been great. And I mean that.
You know, I think people should celebrate America's 250th birthday. I'm going to. It's great. It's wonderful.
Like, we love America.
Democrats are actually the patriotic ones, but we shouldn't be celebrating it like this
with Donald Trump trying to do this.
I mean, it's just, it's awful.
And here's another one.
This is a clip that came out today, which might be my favorite so far from the state fair
videos we've seen.
So on stage was Dr. Oz, a member of the Trump administration, and Dean Kane, that
guy who played Superman and then tried out for ice.
He never made it because he was so physically unfit, true story.
And they were on stage talking about the state fair.
and they said so many people are there, and then the camera panned, and it's an empty field.
I mean, it's like, it's like Seinfeld.
It's like that's the comedic timing here.
And it's because there's tons of people here.
It's a huge space, and it's just going to get more and more crowded as the week goes on.
Not only do we have a lot of people here, we have people who want to have you, like, Stacey Garrity,
that will be next governor of Pennsylvania.
There we go.
Yep.
Look at it.
A ton of people here, they say.
A lot of people here.
I feel like I could count very quickly how many people are in this video.
I feel like I could do that incredibly.
I won't, but I feel like I could do this incredibly quickly.
There's nobody there.
The grass is entirely open.
It's entirely open.
I love that video.
But Trump is, of course, scrambling to exaggerate the crowd size.
Not only did musical acts withdraw from the gathering,
but roughly a fifth of the nation states decided not to send delegations or spend public
money on participating in the fair, which is shaping up to be a really good idea and a good
decision. When gathering got underway on Wednesday night, things managed to get even worse. Not only did
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy mocked the musicians who chose not to reform, he labeled the
artist this word, which I'm not going to say, an offensive term that combines the word liberal and
that, but he was soon followed by Donald Trump, who delivered that campaign-style speech in which
people walked out early. An NBC news report noted, quote, roughly half of those in Wednesday's
crowd of more than one. This spring, Denham gets a softer, lighter update. Introducing old Navy's
drapey denim wide leg, a new fit that moves with you. It's everything you want denim to feel like
for summer. Easy, breathable, and effortlessly cool. With a fit that creates natural movement and a
wide leg that feels modern, not overwhelming. Plus, that signature, wait, for this price, moment.
Old Navy's drapey denim wide leg.
A thousand wore Trump's slogans or likeness on their clothes. For them, America's 250th birthday was
secondary to an opportunity to see Donald Trump.
The new Republic added, quote, dozens of attendees Wednesday were seen flocking towards
the exits in the middle of his address, which was meant to kickstart the two-week event.
Take a wild guess who did not appreciate the reporting.
On Thursday afternoon, Trump went on social media and posted this.
The crowd was incredible last night, to the brim.
At least 45,000 people were there.
What a fraud.
With a huge television and online audience, I wish we were able to have an even larger
area, which we'll be able to do on July 4th when I'll be speaking again, the airplane flyovers
and music were fantastic. Five hours later, either trying to convince the public or himself,
he published a follow-up item, which read in part, last night's rally was packed 45,000 people.
But of course, an NBC News report described the president's claim as false, adding that the
actual total was nowhere near 45,000 people.
So not only is he doing that and posting that on social media, he's also, of course,
doing this, which we read earlier, that it's filled, it's, you know, happy people, everything
is great. Everything is not great, Donald Trump. The exhibits suck. The event sucks and nobody is
attending. This is a journalist who did a walkthrough in some of the exhibits. And if you think what you
see, oh, sorry about that. I'm getting too excited. My glasses flew off my face. If you think what you
see in this video is bad, wait until you see the next exhibit I want to show you. People gagging on
pancakes, which is like, why the hell are they doing that? President Trump wants all 50 states to come
together here at the great American
State Fair to show their pride.
North Carolina planned to skip
this, but the Freedom 250 organizers
asked the Winston-Salem
company that built their tractor
trailers to step in.
Their exhibit is a race car
and some North Carolina potatoes.
Arizona had the longest
line to get in for a
black light star experience
and a free cactus pen.
Maryland is featuring a different
local artist every day and a photo
booth to go back in time. D.C. has a positivity tree. Virginia has a photo op with letters made out of
stuff that grows there. Connecticut and Maine are sharing a space and basically just put up some chairs
and their state logos. Michigan has a fake cow you can milk. Wisconsin has a real Harley you can sit on
and this guy definitely wins for best T-shirt. Most of the rest of the states and territories just seem to be
using the Great American State Fair as a Great American Visitors Bureau.
Although shout out to Guam, which is now totally on my must visit list.
I mean, that was pathetic.
Notice how some of the blue states had the best stuff.
So like Arizona, Democratic governor, they had that starlight thing.
Maryland had some cool things.
Notice how the blue states still show up and they do better than the red states.
It's just like a consistent theme throughout politics, I guess.
But that's not all.
As I mentioned, there are also people eating pancakes as an exhibit.
at the state fair?
And this morning, four younger Americans put their stomachs to the test with a pancake eating
contest. That's tough on any day, let alone in this kind of heat.
The winner was determined by audience applause.
The guy who won appeared really worried he wasn't going to be able to keep the pancakes down,
but in the end, he made it.
Today, the focus...
Look, you know, this is more like state fair activity, for sure.
It still makes me sick of my stomach watching this crap.
And I can't believe that this is meant to be a celebration of America's 250th birthday.
Stuffing pancakes in our faces, really?
Wow, really embarrassing.
Just across the board, they've also set up a baptism tent.
So if you were, you know, thinking about getting baptized anytime soon, you can do it, apparently, at Donald Trump's State Fair.
They have a baptism tent set up.
There was also a Confederate flag on display, which we talked about on the show as well at the North Carolina exhibit.
It was, there it is, apparently Donald Trump and the organizers, of all things they could highlight from North Carolina,
they thought, you know what, let's do slavery and racism.
I mean, what is wrong with these people?
You know, North Carolina has so many beautiful things that they could display.
Soul food.
Love soul food from North Carolina.
Great state.
Beautiful state, in my opinion.
And they didn't highlight that.
They decided to highlight the Confederacy, which, by the way, are a bunch of losers.
They lost.
Let's not forget that, Donald.
And the flag was quickly taken down after the governor of North Carolina, a Democrat as well, I might add,
cut wind of it.
But also, just wanted to flag this as well.
the construction just around, and this is the last thing I want to bring up for you,
the construction around the event is also terrible.
So this is the arch that Donald Trump has built.
It's the one he wants to build actually in D.C.
This is like a prop version.
And they can't even get that right.
Look, if they can't put up a fake arch, what makes us think that they're going to be able to put up a real one?
Look at the construction on this stuff.
The paper or whatever materials on the outside is peeling off already.
It's been like three, four days.
Five days at this fair has been up and they can't even do this.
And also the things that look three-dimensional are not.
I mean, I cannot believe that we spent taxpayer dollars on this.
And the final thing, the last thing, truly the last thing I want to bring to your attention.
The prices, talking about prices, talking about taxpayer dollars, the fare is under fire for charging $23 for a turkey leg, nearly double Disney's price.
Trump promised to lower food prices, but they're charging $23 for a turkey leg.
And this is a photo I posted on Twitter that was sent to me from a friend who lives in D.C.
Look at these prices for drinks or a muffin or a cookie.
$10 for lemonade?
What are we doing?
Ice cream is $8 at the state fair?
Not affordable whatsoever.
Anyway, so Trump is really coping.
He's upset about the state fair.
He's saying it's packed with people.
He's saying it's all great and wonderful and everybody's having a good time.
that couldn't be further from the truth. I will leave the video there. Thank you so much for watching.
Please make sure to subscribe down below, drop a like on the video as well, comments. Let me know
what you think about the fair we just walked through a little bit. Have an amazing rest of your day
and we will talk soon.
