Harry Sisson breaks down the damning new report on Republicans and their midterm chances.

Republicans are in full-blown panic mode right now. The midterm elections are less than a month and a half away, and they are begging, begging for additional funding to try to defend Senate seats currently held by Republicans that they thought were safe, but new polling indicates that maybe not so much. And we've talked about this panic on the show before, how Donald Trump is not releasing any money, how Republicans are seeing the polls. They're trying to distance themselves from Donald Trump. But this really goes to show you how bad things are for Republicans right now. And despite them claiming we're going to win, we're going to do so well in November, they know better. Let me know what you think about it. Let's dive in. So leaked memo lays bare the Republicans panic in key red states. And these red states, again, are states that they normally should be winning. They normally have one. But this is a different time. A leaked memo has laid bare Republican panic that Democrats could snatch three Senate seats that the Republican Party had considered safely theirs.

The Senate Republicans' campaign arm is making a late plea for nearly $9 million. They're begging for millions of dollars to help and save them, which I really don't think is going to do much, to defend their nominees in Alaska, in Iowa, and Ohio states that Donald Trump won by double digits in 2024, according to a memo obtained by Axios exposing the party's jitters, as the midterm map turns increasingly hostile. This is like Democrats trying to, to beg just before an election for $10 million to defend states like New York, California, or Oregon. That's what Republicans are doing here. Donald Trump won these states by double digits,

and Republicans are so worried about their Senate candidates in these respective states that they want $10 million. And just out of curiosity for the Republicans, like, what do you think this $9 million you're begging for is actually going to do? Do you think it's going to change how Americans feel about gas prices or war or the Epstein files being covered up? I mean, they just are totally delusional. They're completely out of touch with the time. Quote, we need $8.9 million and additional hard dollars to close the media gap and sustain that progress through Election Day, according to the memo sent out by the National Republican Senatorial Committee on Thursday. And here's some of the polling. Would you rather Dems versus reps for the midterms? This is a Maris poll. If November's election for Congress were

held today, which party's candidate are you more likely to vote for in your district? Fifty-three percent saying a Democrat, 41 percent saying Republicans, the others are, I don't know, or neither. Nearly half of the GOP's fundraising target is earmarked for Iowa, where Republicans were jolted this week by a bombshell Marist poll that found Democratic Senate candidate, Josh Turrick, with a whopping eight-point lead over the GOP nominee Rep. Apshawkshenson, who, by the way, voted to cover up the Epstein files, has voted multiple times to continue the Iran war, which is deeply impacting farmers, especially in Iowa. So I'm not exactly surprised that the Democrat is doing well here.

and they're asking for basically $4.5 million to help save this seat. The memo sets a $4.2 million fundraising target for the Red State, which Trump carried all three times. He was on the ballot. Retiring Senator Joni Ernst is leaving behind an open seat. Meanwhile, the NRSC is asking donors for $3.5 million in Ohio, where Senator John Hustead is facing former Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown, who is fantastic, who leads by four points in the polling average. The state has been hit hard by Trump's tariff. and soaring diesel prices tied to the president's war with Iran, with Iowa and Alaska, facing similar pressures.

And look, all of these Republican states that Donald Trump is doing badly in, that Republicans are doing badly in, are of their own doing. You know, the Democrats didn't start a war with Iran. We didn't throw tariffs on our closest allies around the world. We didn't do any of that. We're not raising gas prices. It's them. And the American people are fed up.

The numbers show it. Their panic. The money shows it. In Alaska, where former Democratic Representative Mary Peltola is, is leading Republican Senator Dan Sullivan by two points in the polling average, the Republicans have set a goal of $1.2 million. The memo encourages donors to give through candidates campaigns or joint fundraising committees which operate under higher contribution limits.

And look, if Republicans want to go and waste a bunch of money in states that they should be winning, which gives us even better chances in states that we might be able to pick up, then I'm happy for them to do that. I genuinely do not believe that this $9 million is going to make a substantial chance in anybody's mind. I think people, probably this close to the election, know how they feel. They know how they've made their mind up. And if they want to take $9 million from their donors and kind of light it on fire, I don't really have a problem with that. And a lot of this has to do with Donald Trump. We're talking about it right now. These states are impacted and people don't want more of this.

all that much, at least the majority of them. And what's interesting about this, this state visit that Donald Trump had is that he's been exposed as a total hypocrite. Surprising, I know, who could have seen that coming? Back in 2011, he called Obama stupid for hosting the Chinese president and claiming that he wouldn't give him a dinner. Quote, the president of China came a few months ago when we gave him a state dinner. Now when people are screwing you, you don't give them state dinners. Now, Donald Trump has been saying that China has been screwing us for many, many years and he gave them a state dinner. So which one is it? Are you stupid for doing it or is it the right thing to do? Donald Trump can't seem to make up his mind. And this is Representative Thomas

Massey, a Republican who has been targeted by Donald Trump calling this out and calling out the sucking up to Xi Jinping. President literally wrote out the red carpet for Xi Jinping during this state visit. He's, you know, been talking about how strong and fit he looks, submit concerns about his health, what do you make of the president's warm welcome for Xi Jinping in the way that it has been compared with the ad that the White House is putting out now of the president saying, you know, America will never be a communist country. Do you think those messages jive with one another? I think it's a mixed message. Look, he will invite a communist to the White House, but I can't even go there for the Christmas party. You know, his retribution tour among,

on Republicans, I think stands in stark contrast to the way he's treating, you know, the communist leader of China and also the mayor of New York. But, you know, that's just who he is. He's not an ideologue. He doesn't have a true North or, or honestly, any kind of beliefs. He's just kind of going with the flow here. And, you know, China, what's interesting about China, they're buying gold. They're not buying our treasury notes now. I wonder if he had a conversation. about that because he's always after the Fed and the Treasury to try to get interest rates down. But the reason interest rates are going up, at least the price we pay to borrow money, is because foreign countries like China are saying we don't want any more of your debt.

Yeah. And I... Isn't that something? And he's absolutely right. I mean, it is so hypocritical. Donald Trump is out there, you know, lambasting communists saying they're the worst. They want to destroy our country. We're going to eradicate. a communist. And then he, you know, has Xi Jinping in the White House and he's praising him and he says he's great. People don't want a morally bankrupt and unprincipled leader in the White House. And the consequences of having Donald Trump in the White House and electing that guy to be the head of your party

is this panic that we're hearing about in this leaked memo. But it's also the fact that in states that they should be winning, as we just talked about, they're down a lot because Donald Trump has endorsed candidates who suck, who are criminals, alleged criminals, who have been impeached by their own party like Ken Paxton, who is now down by five points in Texas, according to a new poll. And on the topic of that, James Tilariko placed a call to Ken Paxson recently, challenging him to a debate because Ken Paxson is running away from them. And James Tilarico's being a nice guy, he's even offering to do it on Fox News where maybe Ken Paxson would be a little bit more comfortable. This person is not available. Those are the consequences of the Republican Party's actions because of Donald Trump. And the final thing I want to point out, the worst consequence for the Republicans at this moment in time, is that Democrats have opened up their biggest lead. This is a new poll, according to NBC or their polling average, released Friday, found that Democrats lead Republicans by nine percentage points on average, 52 to 43 among likely voters when they were asked who they would prefer to control Congress. And the best case scenario, I mean, we're talking about Senate seats right now in regards to this leaked memo. But the best case scenario come November is something that looks like this, where Democrats win in Alaska. And this is best case scenario. I mean, I'm not even including Florida in there. I think Florida's too far gone.

I wish I could say the opposite, but I'm not hopeful for Florida. But this is best case scenario, that we went in New Hampshire, we went in Michigan, we went in Iowa, we went in Ohio, we went in North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and Alaska, which given the numbers we're seeing, could very well be a possibility, but this is not the time to take the foot off the gas. So if you're thinking about volunteering for a campaign, if you're thinking about donating to a campaign, if you want to make calls for a campaign, whatever it might be, now's the time to do it. We don't let off the gas because when we do, we lose. So let's get all the way to election day, get out there and vote, check your registration, especially in states like
