All right, folks, so a couple of major updates happened overnight and in the past 24 hours about the Iran war that I think you should absolutely know about.
They are pretty important.
They speak to what's taking place on the ground, what the future might look like, and what Donald Trump may do next.
There's a lot to cover here, so I really don't want to waste any time.
I ask that you subscribe down below, drop a like on the video.
Please comment.
Let me know if you're going out for No Kings Day today.
I hope to see many of you if you are.
And of course, if you're on Apple or Spotify, same goes to you.
make sure to rate the show five stars as well and follow along. And without further ado,
let's just jump right in. So we're getting headlines like this because of reporting that we're
getting that Donald Trump is thinking about drastically increasing the troop presence in the Middle East,
possibly for a ground invasion of Iran or taking Karg Island or doing something with the Strait of Hormuz,
a bunch of different options have been floated and Donald Trump is actively flirting with all of them.
And there's more on this topic. But while we're getting these major headlines, we're talking
about a ground invasion. We're talking about what's next. This is what Donald Trump is saying
publicly about the Iran war. This is the comments he made yesterday while speaking in front of a
crowd. Watch. We're negotiating now and be great if we could do something, but they have to open
it up. They have to open up the straight of Trump. I mean, Harmouth. Excuse me. I'm so sorry.
Such a terrible mistake. The fake news will say he accidentally said now.
There's no accidents with me, not too many.
If they were, we'd have a major story.
Well, we had that with the Gulf of Mexico.
Remember the Gulf of Mexico?
And one day I said, why is it the Gulf of Mexico?
We have 92% of the area around it.
They have 8%, really less than 8%.
But for 350 years, it was good.
You know, they were there.
So Grandpa is ranting again.
I will spare you the extra, like, whatever,
30 seconds of him talking about the Gulf of the Gulf of the...
Mexico, but now he is thinking about renaming the Strait of Hormuz to the Strait of Trump,
or at least that's a goal of his, or it's something he's now saying publicly.
It's great that he's focused on the important things here, right?
I mean, of, you know, the Americans dying, American troops getting injured, the country
at war, the economy going down, we're spending billions of dollars a day.
But don't worry everybody.
It's okay.
Don't fret because we're going to rename the Strait of Hormuz to the Strait of Trump and
everything will be good.
Wonderful.
Glad that he's so focused, laser focused on.
the things that matter. He is such a loser. I mean, he's just such a small man internally where he
thinks that something like this is funny or is flattering for him. It really is kind of embarrassing
and humiliating. But let's get back to the real headlines, the actual headlines of importance,
not Donald Trump being an idiot like always. This is from the Wall Street Journal, what an influx
of 17,000 U.S. troops could mean for the Iran war. If Trump gives the go-ahead, the U.S.
could soon have more than 17,000 ground troops on Iran's doorstep. This is far short of what
would be needed for a full-scale invasion of the country of Iran, but they could see strategic
territory on the mainland to secure Tehran's uranium stockpiles or take an island, which
are seeming like the leading options here for what we might be building up troops for.
And I want to be clear, you know, there's a lot of people talking about, well, maybe there'll be
a ground invasion, we'll see what happens.
I really don't think we're moving troops just for fun.
You know, like the Republicans are really saying, well, we'll see what takes place here.
I don't think you're moving tens of thousands of Americans to the Middle East just to like put them there and see what happens, right?
I think they're going to do something with these troops, which is heartbreaking.
The Pentagon is considering sending another 10,000 ground troops to the Middle East, even as Trump weighs these peace talks with Tehran.
That would add to roughly 5,000 Marines and 2,000 paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division already ordered to the region.
The additional troops would likely include infantry, armored vehicles, and logistics support.
That's far fewer than the 150,000 troops deployed in March of 2003 to invade Iraq, which was a country much smaller in terms of both geography and population than Iran.
Trump hasn't directed the military to put American boots on the ground inside Iran.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Friday he didn't think it would be needed.
But who really cares what Marco Rubio says?
Because, you know, it doesn't matter.
Trump is going to do what Trump wants to do.
Anything that preserves his ego, builds him up, makes him seem all big, bad, and strong.
And so Marco Rubio really can say anything. It doesn't matter. How many times have we seen Marco Rubio say one thing and then like an hour later Donald Trump does something different? I mean, it just happens all the time. Quote, we are ahead of schedule on most of them and we can achieve them without any ground troops without any. Rubio said. Trump has said he hopes to resolve the conflict through diplomacy and press Iran to agree to a tough set of demands, including handing over its supply of enriched uranium, dismantling key nuclear facilities, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Sounds really familiar, almost.
like the Obama nuclear deal.
That was already there. Already in place, Donald Trump
ripped it up because of course he did. He destroys everything
he touches. But Iran has rebuffed
those overtures. Tehran appears
to be calculating that closing the strait will
pressure the White House to compromise and
deter future attacks, which so
far, it's kind of seeming like Donald Trump
wants this war to end more than they do.
I think Iran certainly has a lot of
leverage with the Strait of Hormuz, and
let me be clear about this before Republicans
start having a meltdown. I will never play
defense or defend or support,
the Iranian regime. I mean, these are lunatics over there who hate the United States. They hate me,
you, and everybody around you. But we have to be objective here. It seems like they certainly have a leg
up in terms of that specific aspect of the war. Quote, all announcements regarding troop deployments
will come from the Department of War, otherwise known as by normal people, the Department of Defense.
As we have said, Trump always has all military options at his disposal. If Trump orders the deployment,
the troops can be used to see strategic locations such as the island off of Iran's southern coast,
or parts of the coastline.
They could also secure the regime's 970 pounds of enriched uranium that they could try to use
to build a nuclear weapon.
Each of those missions would be complex and dangerous, a battle for beachhead near
Bandar Abbas, Iran's main naval headquarters or for Kark Island, a crucial oil export hub,
would risk significant American casualties, especially because we also know that Iran is
laying traps around Karg Island.
You know, it's for laying it in the water on the beaches, it's just everywhere.
We know that. This was talked about in the Wall Street Journal recently. Also, we talked about it on the show.
It's serious stuff. But in addition, another headline I need you to see. We learned overnight that 12 Americans were injured in an attack on a Saudi Arabia airbase.
Again, a story that as of now, Donald Trump has not talked about. He has not commented on at the time of filming this.
And I imagine that he just won't. He likes to ignore when American troops are injured and won't even comment on it publicly.
12 American troops up from 10 previously reported were wounded in this attack.
according to multiple U.S. and Arab officials.
Two of them suffered significant injuries while 10 were concussed.
And of course, we're hoping that they make a full recovery.
The injured troops were inside a building on the base that was struck in the attack.
The attack also damaged multiple U.S. refueling aircraft.
At least one missile struck the base, as well as several unmanned aerial vehicles.
The missile strike is at least a second to strike the base during the war against Iran.
Five refueling aircraft were damaged in an earlier strike.
I mean, I just can't imagine how scary that is to be an American troop in this base and have like a missile whizzed down at you.
It is terrifying.
And seriously, every single day we talk about this war, every single day I wake up, I'm thinking about these American troops who are abroad.
And many of them just don't want to be there.
They don't want to be part of this.
They don't agree with what Donald Trump is doing.
They have to be there.
And they're the one suffering.
Trump gets to go to his golf club and play golf on the weekends.
And he gets to go out in the public and lie about this war and pretend that it's going perfectly for the United States.
whereas, you know, these troops have to suffer.
Now, Donald Trump also yesterday said that the war is nearing completion, which is, you know,
pretty contrary to what we just read about deploying 17,000 troops.
That's the thing.
You know, Donald Trump says something publicly.
The reporting is saying something different.
It's just contradictions on contradictions.
But he says it's nearing its completion.
He indicated that Iran war is coming to a close soon saying, quote, it's sort of finished,
but it's not finished.
It's got to be finished, which means it's not finished, by the way.
The president said he expected the war to cause a bigger hit to stock market, saying, I thought we were going down more.
He added, and I thought oil prices were going to go up higher.
Now, of course, the S&P 500 is down for a fifth straight week to its lowest levels since August.
And of course, gas prices, grocery prices, the whole lot have gone up exponentially in price.
But Donald Trump thinks it's not that big of a deal.
He says, oh, I thought it would be worse.
I thought it would be worse.
I thought everything would be a little bit worse.
You know, he's just, you know, he's an idiot.
And the final thing I want to talk about briefly with.
you of these updates that we're getting got overnight in addition to everything. Trump says he also
is eyeing an operation in Cuba now. Another thing he has flirted with publicly, but he says that Cuba
is next. He literally said that by the way, and Cuba's next. He said, and Cuba's next, by the way,
but pretend I didn't say that, please, please, please, media, please disregard that statement.
Thank you very much. Then he added Cuba's next again. So, you know, I don't think there's much
ambiguity here as to what Donald Trump is looking to do next.
So if you were hoping that after the Iran war concludes, whenever that might be, you know,
in two weeks from now, if Donald Trump folds, or in a year from now, if he gets his
$200 billion and he continues to do what he does, then whenever it ends, expect Cuba to be next.
Expect another war, another military operation that puts Americans in harm's way, costs billions
of dollars to do, and obviously is not focusing on anything relating to the American people, no prices,
No, housing, no nothing.
But, you know, it fulfills Donald Trump.
It satisfies his desire, right?
Weird stuff going on.
Weird stuff.
So I just wanted to give you these updates that we got over the last night, the last 24 hours, and I will leave it there.
Enjoy No Kings today if you're going out.
If you're not, I will be posting about it on all my social media platforms and here as well,
wherever you're watching it.
