Well, folks, Pete Hegseth's big secret just got leaked.
This should really infuriate every single American.
I was angry reading this article because Pete Hegseth and the people around him have been taking advantage of taxpayer dollars.
They've been spending our money, the money that you worked hard for, the taxes you paid to the federal government on lavish and luxury goods for him and his buddies.
It is outrageous.
They are spending tens of billions of dollars on goods.
It is insane.
And it just makes me think about all the times that Republicans tried to criticize the Democrats saying that we abuse taxpayer dollars.
There's fraud on the Democratic Party side when in reality it is them.
The call is coming from inside the house.
So let's get into this story.
There's no time to waste.
It is really just crazy.
I mean, this headline in of itself, Pete Hegseth blew billions on fruit basket stands, chairs, and crab.
The Defense Department went on a 93 billion.
dollar spending spree in a month, in a single month in 2025.
The Pentagon spent more money in September the end of the 2025 fiscal year than it had
in any other year since 2008, but a good chunk of the budget wasn't used for anything that
could be considered a pertinent military expense.
The Defense Department burned through $93 billion that month alone, signing checks left
and right in order to dry up its congressionally allocated budget.
according to a recent analysis by the government watchdog open the books.
There is pressure to spend if federal agencies don't use the entirety of their budget by the end of the fiscal year, then they lose access to that cash forever, potentially putting themselves in a situation where they have to request a reduced budget the following year, which is really a crazy thing.
I mean, if the Pentagon can't spend this money, they just shouldn't, and they should request less money later in the government year.
And next year, they should request less money.
That's how it should go.
But of course, Pete Hegseth, the people around him, they don't want to do that.
Some of the frivolous September purchases made under Secretary Pete Hegseth stewardship
include a $98,000 Steinway and Sons Grand Piano for the Air Force Chief of Staff's home,
$5.3 million for Apple devices, such as the new iPad, and an astronomical amount of shellfish,
including $2 million for Alaskan King Crab and $6.9 million worth of lobster tail.
Lobster tail is apparently a favorite of Hegsef's Pentagon.
The department spent more than $7.4 million total on the luxury item in March, May, June, and October.
So keep in mind, all of this is going on as Donald Trump and Pete Hegeseth and everybody in the Trump administration is actively trying to cut food stamps.
They're trying to make it more expensive for you to have health care.
So while they're eating lobster tail on taxpayer dollars, the American people are suffering, not knowing whether they're going to be able to receive food.
assistance in the future, not knowing if they're going to be able to keep a roof over their head.
Their health care, God forbid, something happens to them.
That's Donald Trump's government.
I mean, my God, it's the out-of-touch nature that really is so gross.
In other pricey food purchases, the government decided to drop $15 million for rib-eye steak,
again, just in September, and $124,000 for ice cream machines because, of course, that is a
necessary purchase for the Department of Defense.
You know, of course, it's so necessary.
and $139,000 on 272 orders of donuts.
Weeks later, millions of Americans would, as we just talked about, lose their snap benefits
amid the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.
More still stand to lose eligibility to the food program,
thanks to a Republican crusade that added stricter work requirements to the program
piling on paperwork and documentation mandates.
One of the largest bulk expenditures was just for furniture,
for which the Pentagon decided to shale out $225 million.
dollars. How do you spend $225 million on, well, actually we know now, we know how, because
they spent $60,000 for Herman Miller recliners. So when you're spending $60,000 on a chair,
a recliner, maybe that's how you rack up a bill that big. It also included $12,000 for
fruit basket stands. All in, the agency spent more on furniture in 2025 than it had in over a decade.
In the last five days of September alone, the department blew through $50 billion on just grants and contracts.
For context, only nine other countries spend that much on the entirety of their defense budget per year.
It's also more than the total military budgets of Canada and Mexico combined.
The federal government ultimately had a $1.8 trillion deficit in 2025.
And maybe this gives us some insight as to how we got there.
So just as a roundup, this is what we know so far.
$225 million on furniture, $15 million on steak, $5 million on Apple devices, $7 million lobster, $2 million for crab legs, $98,000 for a piano for somebody's home, which feels like it should be illegal.
$12,000 on fruit baskets, $140,000 on donuts, $124,000 on ice cream machines.
And I love this response from Governor Gavin Newsom saying, hey, Nick Shirley, any insight here?
You know, this seems like a lot of fraud.
By the way, let me add on to this.
Where's Doche?
You know, Doge, the whole, oh, we're going to cut wasteful spending in the government.
You know, I think spending over $90 billion in one month when you're just trying to get all the money out the door so you get that same amount of money next year or even more.
That sounds like some government waste to me that genuinely could be cut.
When you're spending $60,000 on chairs, yeah, that sounds like some government waste that should be cut.
Speaking of Pete Heggseth, he was confronted yesterday, or excuse me, earlier today, I should say,
on his message to Americans, those in the MAGA base who supported the president and those who aren't
in favor of the war and who worry that Israel might be taking advantage of the United States.
So not only is Pete Hegsef spending taxpayer dollars going on a spending spree for him and his buddies.
They're going out shopping.
But Pete Hegsteth is lying to the American people about this war, defending Donald Trump, no matter what,
and completely turning his back on the base that elected Donald Trump.
He seems to be having a pretty bad streak right now.
in the political sphere. So let's take a look at this back and forth with this reporter and Pete Hegesse.
Thank you, Jordan Conradson, Gateway Pundit. Axios reported citing U.S. and Israeli sources that
the U.S. was not happy with strikes on 30 fuel depots in Iran. While this is anonymous sourcing,
you know, it seems kind of congruent with what President Trump said yesterday, that there's
certain spots they don't want to hit relating to energy infrastructure that would take a long time to rebuild.
And, you know, whether this reporting is true or not, what's your message to Americans,
those who supported the president, and those who aren't really in favor of this war,
and who worry that Israel might be taking advantage of the U.S. is backing.
And then for Mr. Chairman, for you, I wanted to ask,
when you say that we're moving inland, what capabilities does Iran have to shoot down jets over their land?
and would that trigger some kind of rescue operation that could risk a bigger ground operation?
Well, I would just state by saying Israel's been a really strong partner in this effort,
where they have different objectives, they've pursued them.
Ultimately, we've stayed focused on ours.
But what Iran has felt is the power of the world's two most powerful air forces.
In that particular case, those weren't our strikes or that objective,
or that wasn't our necessarily our objective.
But the president has made it clear to those concerns
that we're not getting pulled in any direction.
We're leading. The president is leading.
He's determining where we want to go,
what the outcome will be, what the end state is,
with a very keen eye.
And I understand those concerns,
because I've heard from a lot of people who went through,
I went through 20 years of those wars myself,
worried about getting dragged in,
worried about mission creep,
worried about nation building,
or democracy expansion.
that's never the perspective the president has pursued on this.
Just because previous presidents and previous secretaries have decided to just pour more resources
and more people in toward some unguided end state, doesn't mean that's the way the world
needs to look today.
In fact, the American people voted for a different approach, but the president also stated
from the beginning, Iran can't have a nuclear weapon.
And it's one thing to say.
Yeah.
So that was a whole lot of nothing from, you know,
Pete Hegseth, just completely abandoning the promises that Donald Trump made on the campaign.
And let me be clear, I'm not surprised.
You know, Donald Trump has been in politics for many years now.
Anybody who actually believes a word he says, I think, you know, maybe should look in the mirror
for a second, just look at the guy that's leading the country, look at his many lies.
But Pete Hegseth is not answering any question there.
He says, you know, this is going to be different.
It's going to be different than any wars before.
Really?
Because Donald Trump is considering a ground invasion of Iran.
Iran, putting troops on the ground to go retrieve enriched uranium from Iran.
That doesn't sound like a, oh, we're getting in and out.
It's just the Air Force.
We've dominated the air and the sea.
We're not putting boots on the ground.
And the final thing I'll add in all of this, we would not be in this position if Donald
Trump did not tear up the Iran nuclear deal that Barack Obama and Joe Biden negotiated
that blocked Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.
It's a good reminder because Trump himself has put himself and the United States in a position
where Iran could pursue a nuclear weapon.
There's nothing blocking them from doing that.
There's no restrictions because of Donald Trump.
Hegsteth won't tell you that.
Trump won't tell you that.
Vance, Rubio, all of these people will not tell you that.
But that is the truth.
We would not be in this position if it were not for Donald Trump.
So look, I will leave the video there.
Just had to talk about these expenditures, these scams that Pete Hegseth is essentially
running using our taxpayer dollars so he and his buddies can eat some steak, can have some new
iPads, eat some lobster crab legs, and lounge on their $60,000 recliners. So anyway, make sure to
