Starting point is 00:00:00 Look, I got to be honest with you, I am genuinely stunned at the things that have come out from Donald Trump's Department of Justice in just the past couple of days. And I understand that this is not a normal DOJ run by normal people. Donald Trump is basically pulling the levers. But still, from an agency that is meant to not be political, Donald Trump has essentially turned it into a campaign account on social media. I'm going to show you some examples because I think people got to see this to just understand how crazy it is. Before I do any of that, make sure to subscribe down. below, drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about this story.
Starting point is 00:00:33 And this might provide some context, some very necessary context as to why the DOJ has been publicly sounding like a Trump campaign speech. Axios is reporting that the White House has begun managing the DOJ's account on X or Twitter, which is an effort to finish out the year and the Epstein file disclosure requirements set by Congress. The account is also taking on a sharper tone that has more of a rapid response campaign edge and less of that stodgy just-the-fax tone associated with the department. It is meant to be a just-the-fax department, but Donald Trump has turned it into anything but. And so the same people
Starting point is 00:01:10 that run Trump's social media accounts when he puts out all these insane posts are now running the DOJ accounts. Those same losers behind those posts are now running the chief law enforcement agency in this country, the social media account at least. It is insane. And here are just a couple of examples. So this came from Todd Blanche, but as you can see, at the top, it was reposted by the Department of Justice, and they are once again running cover for Donald Trump. Unsurprisingly. Todd Blanche said, and this was yesterday, I believe, or it was the 23rd of December, he said there's been lots of sensationalism and even outright lies these past few days about the Epstein files.
Starting point is 00:01:46 But let's separate fact from fiction. Document production is just that. We produce documents, and sometimes this can result in releasing fake or false documents, because they are simply in our possession. Case in point, the so-called Epstein-Nassar letter is clearly fake. They are still calling this letter fake. Wrong handwriting, wrong return address, and postmark three days after Epstein died, fake videos of Epstein in his cell, photos with no explanation, sensational tales and lies by random
Starting point is 00:02:10 people. These are not reality. We will continue to produce every document required by law. Let's not let internet rumor engines outrun the facts. And, funnily enough, this post actually got fact-checked by Twitter. Elon Musk's own platform is calling Todd Blanche out, the Department of Justice out, saying that they've released heavily
Starting point is 00:02:29 redacted files from the Epstein files, which is against the law. And the act actually required the full release to be within 30 days of November 19th. It is now December 25th. And that's far past the deadline that they set. So they're actively breaking the law,
Starting point is 00:02:45 yet they say, we will continue to follow the law. Not quite. But you can see that he's basically trying to go after these documents we've seen where there are very serious allegations against Donald Trump. You have that Nassar letter that Epstein allegedly wrote. And on that very point, the DOJ has been basically harassing people online who have been spreading the Nassar letter. They put out this statement saying that it's fake and they included some of the same reasons you just saw from
Starting point is 00:03:09 Todd Blanche saying writing doesn't appear to match Epstein. The letter was postmarked three days after his death out of Northern Virginia. The return address did not list the jail where Epstein was held and did not include his inmate number. Now, as I've said in recent episodes on this show, recent videos, none of these facts actually dees. debunk the authenticity of the letter. The return address and the inmate number not included could very well likely be a fault of Epstein himself. The letter being postmarked three days after he died and out of Northern Virginia is perfectly normal, actually. Mail takes quite a long time to move through prison. So it's entirely reasonable that he wrote it on
Starting point is 00:03:43 the 9th, died the 10th, and then it was processed on the 13th. Additionally, inmate mail, it goes through these specialized processing centers that are often outside of the state where someone is held. There are centers like this in Northern Virginia. So if it went there for scanning to make sure that there was nothing illegal in the letter, it would be postmarked from there. And the writing not matching, I just think, is total BS. But as I mentioned, they've been harassing people who have been making this claim. Jamie Dupre, a journalist said, okay, so then why would the DOJ publicly release something that's fake? Your answers, please. And they responded by saying, because the law requires us to release
Starting point is 00:04:19 all documents related to Epstein in our possession, so that's what we're doing, you dope. Are you suggesting we break the law, which they are breaking the law, might I add. They are still breaking the law, but they're calling journalists dopes who ask very valid questions of them. And in addition to this, just look at all the people they're applying to you. So you had Jamie Dupre, you had the Todd Blanche statement. Then you have Tara Palmeri, a journalist who is really focused on the Epstein issue. They've responded to her. This account talking about the Larry Nasser letter, they responded to them, Forbes talking about the letter. They've responded to them. This account, they've responded to them.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Midas Touch, who reported on this first, they've responded to them. Pop-based, they've responded to them. It is a Trump campaign account. They are just responding to a variety of different accounts on social media with their statement. It is an arm of the Trump team. And in addition to that, we just got a pretty major statement from this DOJ that seems completely off the rails. They say that there's at least a million more Epstein files coming, but with major delays. So they are breaking the law even more.
Starting point is 00:05:22 Again, unsurprising, I'm not saying that as I'm shocked and just so baffled that the Trump admin is breaking the law. But the cover-up, the violations, the retramatizing of victims just continues to get worse from this immature, incompetent administration. I should say regime. That's the most appropriate word. The DOJ teased a fresh dump of over a million more Epstein files, but didn't provide a release date, of course. The embattled agency led by Pam Bondi announced yesterday that it received, quote, over a million. million more documents potentially related to the Epstein case from the FBI and the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York.
Starting point is 00:06:00 The DOJ said it was working around the clock to review the new tranche of files and make redactions to protect victims and protect Donald Trump. That's what they do. Quote, we will release these documents as soon as possible. This is the exact statement. The U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York and the FBI have informed the DOJ that they've uncovered suddenly over a million more documents potentially rated. to the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Starting point is 00:06:24 They've uncovered. So let me get this straight. Pam Bondi said that there were no more files to release. Before all this started, she said there's no files, there's no client list, nothing. Then she said that there are files to release as part of the DOJ's law. And now they've uncovered a million more documents. I don't buy it. I don't buy it one bit.
Starting point is 00:06:46 The DOJ has received these documents from SDNY and the FBI to review them for release in compliance with the law. We have lawyers working around the clock to review and make the legally required redactions to protect victims, and we will release these documents as soon as possible. Due to the mass volume of material, this process may take a few more weeks. The department will continue to comply with federal law, even though, as we know, they are not. The vague announcement quickly drew criticism from Democrats in the House Oversight Committee, rightfully so, who have been leading the charge to release all documents related to Epstein. And this is a statement they put out. This came from Robert Garcia.
Starting point is 00:07:20 but the committee as a whole. The White House is openly engaged in a cover-up protecting Epstein's co-conspirators and the powerful men who abuse women and girls. It's outrageous that the DOJ has illegally withheld over one million documents from the public. Every day we see lies, incompetence, missed deadlines, and illegal redactions. Pam Bondi needs to testify to Congress under oath to explain herself. Oversight Democrats also want to hear from whistleblowers or anyone at the DOJ who can assist us in bringing justice for the survivors.
Starting point is 00:07:50 protected by the law. And I think that's what needs to happen. There needs to be a whistleblower in this case who just gives all the documents that we know are out there to the oversight committee. They can go through it and they'll get it out in a timely manner. I just think that's what needs to happen. Will it? We shall see. So the DOJ has been losing it. They are getting exposed. The walls are closing in. It's been a really bad week for the Trump admin, maybe the worst week so far for them. And it's good because they are breaking the law. They are retramatizing survivors and they deserve to be called out for it. So I will leave the video there. Let me know in the comments what you think about the story. Drop a like on the video.
