Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, folks, look, we know that Donald Trump is essentially running a criminal organization out of the White House. He himself is a 34-time convicted felon. Judges around the country have said that his regime has broken the law in many different ways, many different times. It is a crime ring happening right in front of our very eyes. And look, I have not forgotten the crimes of not only Donald Trump, but the people around him. And it appears that Donald Trump hasn't either. because in the middle of the night last night, while all of us were sleeping, Trump was hoping you wouldn't be paying attention. He issued a bunch of very corrupt pardons to allies of his. And
Starting point is 00:00:41 the names on this list are sickening. So look, we're going to get into the story and more. Make sure to subscribe to the channel down below. Drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about this story. And let's dive in. So we got some stunning reporting last night. Donald Trump has pardoned a long list of allies in his bid to subvert the 2020 election. This is not the full list, but some of the most significant names. Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Mark Meadows, Sydney Powell, Ken Cheesebro, Christina Bob, Kelly Ward, Jenna Ellis, and more. Let's dive into this Politico article, shall we, that details all of it.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Donald Trump has pardoned a long list of prominent allies who backed his effort to subvert the 2020 election according to Justice Department pardon attorney, Ed Martin. Among those who received the full, complete, and unconditional pardons were Giuliani, who helped lead an effort to pressure state legislators to reject Joe Biden's victory, Mark Meadows, Trump's chief of staff, and a crucial go-between for Trump and state officials, John Eastman and Kenneth Cheesebro, two attorneys who helped devise a strategy to pressure Mike Pence to overturn the election, Boris Epstein, a long Trump advisor, and Sidney Powell, a conservative attorney who launched a fringe legal assault on election results in key swing states.
Starting point is 00:01:59 You might recognize some of these names as not only former Trump advisors, but people who've been indicted in different states around the country. More on that in just a second. The pardons are largely symbolic. None of these identified were charged with federal crimes. The document posted by Martin is also undated, so it's unclear when Trump signed it. The White House and the DOJ did not respond to request for comment. Giuliani, Eastman, and Powell were among those identified by Jack Smith as co-conspirators, though he never brought charges against them. The pardons would preclude any future administration from potentially pursuing a criminal
Starting point is 00:02:35 case, which is obviously very disappointing because a lot of these people very obviously committed crimes. I mean, if you're just looking, and of course, you know, innocent don't too proven guilty, but the court of public opinion is different. If you're looking at the evidence against them that we've seen in public, we haven't even seen all of it. I think it's pretty clear that something bad happened there. The language of the pardon is broad, applying to all United States citizens for conduct relating to the advice, creation, organization, execution, submission, support, voting activities, participation in,
Starting point is 00:03:04 or advocacy for, or of any slate or proposed slate of presidential electors, as well as for any conduct relating to their efforts to expose voter fraud and vulnerabilities. So it seems like Donald Trump is essentially pardoning his entire base or maybe the more MAGA extremist who, I mean, maybe they tried to submit a false slate of electors in their given state, whatever. It seems like he's pardoning a lot of people here, which I think would open up a lot of legal challenges. And so, look, I just want to show you the actual post from Ed Martin. Back in May, he tweeted no MAGA left behind. And then he followed up the tweet last night, 10, 54 p.m. posting the pardon. saying this proclamation ends a grave national injustice. I mean, that is so insane.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Courting pursuant to the pardoned power, Trump pardons all these people. And again, you can see some of the significant names on this list as we'll go through it. It is a very long pardon. There is Boris Epstein. Rudy Giuliani is on here. There he is right there. You have many other people. It's a long list. It's a long list. There's some significant names. Mark Meadows is on this list here. yada, yada, the list goes on. Now, the significant portion of this pardon, which I think is worth pointing out, is that it says this pardon does not apply to the president of the United States. So Donald Trump did not pardon himself, but don't get it twisted. Donald Trump absolutely intends to do that. He's just going to do it at the end of his presidency. He just doesn't
Starting point is 00:04:35 want the headline right now. He doesn't want the legal challenge that will inevitably come with pardoning oneself. And the fact that we're even talking about doing this is insane. and the fact that Donald Trump, the president, is pardoning people who, as I mentioned, in my court of public opinion, likely committed crimes, at least in the court, again, innocent to proven guilty, but likely committed crimes related to trying to overturn a presidential election is sickening. And some people have made some really good points about this. Anna Bauer, a legal journalist, said many of these people on the list are co-defendants in the Georgia case. So anybody that Donald Trump just pardoned cannot run away from state charges. Of course, Giuliani is facing charges in Arizona. There are a bunch of MAGA people facing charges in Georgia,
Starting point is 00:05:20 so those cases are ongoing. And as Anna Bauer points out, this pardon comes just days ahead of a November 14th deadline for the prosecuting attorney's counsel of Georgia to appoint a replacement for Fannie Willis, who was disqualified from pursuing the case. And look, we've seen a bunch of corrupt pardons from Donald Trump. This is not the first one.
Starting point is 00:05:38 I mean, remember, just the other day in a 60-minute interview, Donald Trump was asked why he pardoned someone, who directly benefited his business, made him more money, and Donald Trump said he didn't know who he was. And there are a couple of major scandals here, right? Not only did Donald Trump pardon someone who he benefited from financially, and then after the pardon, continue to benefit from financially, but he also says he doesn't know this guy and doesn't know what crimes he committed.
Starting point is 00:06:06 So essentially what happened behind the scenes is that Donald Trump was given a pardon by somebody in his administration was told to say, sign it, and he did. He has offered no explanation for why he did it, and this further bolsters the point that it's not really Donald Trump running the show behind the scenes. It's really like Stephen Miller or his chief of staff or Caroline Levitt, whoever you want to put it on. I mean, these are the real people kind of running the show, and I imagine that some people who had their name on this list might have also been part of getting themselves pardoned. Maybe they just slid it in front of Donald Trump and said, hey, you should sign this. And
Starting point is 00:06:44 Well, he did. And it's also important to point out that, you know, the Republicans have focused very much so on Joe Biden and his use of the auto pen, which is a totally fake scandal that they've made up. But they focus so much on this that they have a photo of a Biden signature with an auto pen at the White House in place of Biden's portrait on the presidential wall of fame or walk of fame, I should say, that they've installed, which is super tacky and ugly, by the way. But, you know, they're saying Joe Biden pardoned all these people. He didn't know them. but Donald Trump is on audio admitting that he did this. He's on audio saying that. Nora O'Donnell asked him, why did you pardon this guy?
Starting point is 00:07:22 And he said, are you ready? I don't know who he is. O'Donnell said his crypto exchange, finance, helped facilitate a $2 billion purchase of World Liberty Financial Stable Coin. And then you pardoned him. Trump said, here's a thing. I know nothing about it, right? Pretty crazy stuff.
Starting point is 00:07:38 And this in and of itself is the reason why a Reagan, or one of the many reasons, why a Reagan judge yesterday resigned from the bench so that he could call out Donald Trump, his corruption, his abuse of the rule of law, because it is so blatant. Mark Wolf wrote, in 1985, Ronald Reagan appointed me as a federal judge. I was 38 years old. At the time, I looked forward to serving for the rest of my life. However, I resigned Friday, relinquishing that lifetime appointment and giving up the opportunity for public service that I have loved. My reason is simple. I no longer can bear to be restrained by what. judges can say publicly or do outside the courtroom. Donald Trump is using the law for partisan
Starting point is 00:08:17 purposes, targeting his adversaries while sparing his friends and donors, as we saw tonight, from investigation, prosecution, and possible punishment. This is contrary to everything that I have stood for in my more than 50 years in the DOJ and on the bench. The White House's assault on the rule of law is so deeply disturbing to me that I feel compelled to speak out. Silence for me is now intolerable. Really powerful stuff. well written by Mark Wolf, this Reagan judge, and these pardons that we saw last night, Donald Trump's pardon of somebody who helped him financially and who he doesn't know is exactly why this Reagan appointed judge. And I imagine others are incredibly concerned and worried about
Starting point is 00:09:01 the state of the rule of law. And so I welcome Mark Wolf to the resistance. And I can't wait to see his voice. I hope he speaks up about these pardons. But truly, we live in such a dystopian, corrupt time where the president of the United States hands out pardons to his allies like candy. It is gross. Instead of letting them face the music for what they've done, Donald Trump gets them a get out of jail free card and it's gross. So look, I will leave the video there. I just had to bring this story to you because it is that insane. Thank you so much for being here. Make sure to subscribe to the channel down below. Drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about this story. And as I always say, I greatly appreciate you. And I hope you
Starting point is 00:09:40 have an amazing rest of your day.
