All right, folks, I got to be honest with you. In recent American history, I don't think we've seen a bigger middle finger from a president to the people of this country than what we saw from Donald Trump last night. It's just been exposed that Trump and his billionaire buddy friends held a Great Gatsby themed Halloween party at Trump's Marlago Club in Florida for Halloween, of course. Now, if you've read the Great Gatsby, if you haven't, I highly recommend it. One of my favorite books is this is the exact kind of scene you'd see in the book. where this wealthy guy, Jay Gatsby, who is very insecure, is holding these lavish parties with his wealthy friends and they're all dressed up in these very expensive costumes and they're essentially talking about how wealthy they are. That's exactly what Donald Trump did last night.

Now, that in and of itself is gross because you're the president, you're meant to be fighting for people. But what makes it even worse is that Donald Trump was doing this, having this expensive party on the eve of crucial government programs expiring because of the government shutdown. They've run out of money. So programs like SNAP, Head Start, and more to just feed hungry Americans are right now out of money. They're not running. Now, thankfully, judges in Massachusetts and Rhode Island ruled yesterday that Trump is required by law to use contingency funds to pay at least partial SNAP benefits, but they're not getting the full thing because Donald Trump won't open the government back up.

He can't do it. And he doesn't want to fund these programs. He doesn't care if Americans go hungry. So look, I want to expose Donald Trump's disgusting party that he's. he had last night. Post, Trump throws a lavish Halloween party, Great Gatsby themed, on the eve of Snap Running Dry. Hours before millions of Americans were set to lose federal food benefits amid the ongoing government shutdown, Trump hosted a glittering party at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. And there he is with his wealthy friends smiling and laughing as they eat steak and they drink expensive wine as Americans are going hungry. The official theme of the party was, a little party never killed nobody, according to a pool report. The line is a title of a song featured on the soundtrack for the 2013 movie version of F. Scott

Fitzgerald classics novel, The Great Gatsby. And this is a photo from the event. And I just think this picture is sickening. It's sickening. These wealthy people are partying at Marlago as millions of Americans go hungry today. There are parents who went to bed last night, not knowing if they're going to be able to feed their kids this month, this week, today even. That's the America that we live in with Donald Trump while he's partying, while he's building a ballroom at the White House with funding from. taxpayers and his wealthy friends. It's disgusting. Reporters at the event described a smoky party

scene and noted guests were dressed up in flapper costumes and seated at well-decked-out tables while a band played. And here are some of the costumes you're seeing from some of these people. We live in such a dystopian society. These photos that we're looking at, it screams dystopian. The wealthy people are partying. They're having fun. They're eating the expensive dinners. while Americans, 40 million who are on SNAP, including 18 million children, they don't know when their next meal is going to be. It is sickening. The Great Gatsby published in 1925 takes place during the roaring 20s and famously explores the emptiness of material wealth and moral decay of the rich. And here's some other images from Mara Lago.

The day after the party, November 1st, is the date that Snap are set to go on pause. The Trump admin said there's no way to pay for SNAP while the government is shut down, although it did manage to do that during a previous shutdown in 2019. So now they're just making crap up. And here is a photo, or excuse me, a video, I should say, of Donald Trump at the point. First, I mean, first and foremost, he looks atrocious. I mean, he really just, I mean, you know, he looks atrocious. But look at him smiling.

He's having a great time. Oh, he's having a great time while people suffer. Marie Antoinette right there. Let them eat cake is what Donald Trump is saying. Let them eat cake. And look at everybody behind him. Oh, dressed up in these glittering outfits with, this expensive food going out, just sickening.

And here's another video. I can't play the audio because there's music in the background that's copyrighted. But they had performers at Donald Trump's Great Gatsby Party. They had performers. So the party, the food, the wealth wasn't enough. They had to bring in dancers also dressed up in a Great Gatsby themed costume dancing around, putting on a show for the wealthy people. Seriously.

Here's more. Here's another angle of Donald Trump at the party. well. You can see he's talking. We don't know. I couldn't identify, or at least nobody's identified yet, who is sitting at Donald Trump's table. At least some people haven't been identified. We'll talk about that in a second. And here's the dessert spread at Mar-a-Lago while Americans don't know when their next meal is going to be. All of this food. All this food. So dystopian. It's so dystopian. It really, isn't it sickening? Isn't it sickening looking at this while so many kids out there? are going hungry? It's, I mean, I just pisses me off. I'm sorry, you know. Here's, I want to show you some reactions now from some folks as well that I thought were really, really strong. Here's Gavin Newsom saying Donald Trump hosted a great Gatsby party,

while SNAP benefits were about to disappear for 42 million Americans. He does not give a damn about you. And he does not. You know, it is mind boggling to me, and I'm going to go in a rant here for a second, and I'm going to show you the rest of this stuff. It is mind boggling to me that there are Trump supporters out there who woke up today without their food assistance and they will still support him. He is taking away their food, their food, something you need to live to not go hungry and they're going to wake up and say, well, it's not Donald Trump's fault. It's the Democrats are doing it even though Donald Trump controls the presidency, the House, the Senate, the Supreme Court, and all these government agencies. He controls

the Department of Agriculture. He control, oh my God, it is so frustrating. I know you guys feel it too. Here's Representative Malcolm Kenyatta from Pennsylvania, and he's also the vice chair of the Democrats. He's great. This MFer held a great Gatsby party while 43 million people go hungry and health care costs keep rising. That's also another point.

Healthcare costs are going up. Trump is celebrating partying while Americans don't know if they can go to a doctor anymore. So dystopian. That's the word of the day. Put it in the dictionary for the word of the day, dystopian, because that's what it feels like we're living through. Here's another one from Turnbull. This morning, there are 18 million children. And that's the right number, by the way. That's the real statistic. 18 million children that may not get a full meal because Trump refuses to fund SNAP benefits. These people are not students of history. They are not because history will judge Donald Trump and the people who are behind this very harshly. We will remember. I will remember.

as it applies to Donald Trump. I just really thought that was impressive. I wanted to show you. The final thing I wanted to show you is not only is Donald Trump having his great Gatsby party, not only is he celebrating with his billionaire, buddy friends, as people go hungry, but yesterday, he was also bragging about renovating a toilet, a bathroom in the White House, making it have this white marble instead. And then he didn't stop there.

He continued to post photos about it on truth social. Many different individual posts about his new lavish bathroom in the White House. Again, as Americans are going hungry. And this is not an exaggeration. This scroll I'm doing right here. These are the photos that Trump uploaded. So out of touch. So distasteless.
