Harry Sisson breaks down the new stunning report on Donald Trump's own team warning him about his collapsing term and their dissatisfaction with his response.

All right, folks, check this out. Donald Trump is now being warned by his own team and conservative pollsters that he's rapidly losing support with not only the American people, but the MAGA base. His own followers are ditching him in droves, whether that be conservative influencers who call him underwhelming or average everyday Americans who voted for him, who, as you'll see in this article, have flipped their votes and are now voting for Democrats. This is a pretty explosive piece from the Washington Post. we're going to get into all of it and more in just a moment. But as expected, Donald Trump is not loving the fact that his own team is telling him, hey, you're kind of sucking right now.

You're losing a lot of support from your most loyal followers. And he's taking it out on people or talking about golf or changing the conversation entirely. It's just a total mess. And this really speaks to the internals of the Trump White House. Before we look at this article, I do want to look at this article, I do want to just show you the numbers that you, so you can see them and just see how badly Donald Trump is doing. This is according to the economist. Donald Trump is 331 days into his term.

It feels like 10 years. The president's net approval rating is down negative 13 percent up from 2.4 points since last week. He has a 42% approval rating, an aggregate of all the different polls, a 54% disapproval rating, and 4% not sure. This up 2.4% is pretty statistically insignificant. It goes up and down, you know, by points here and there. But look at this. Donald Trump is just going down and down and down and down. It's been a continual decrease throughout Donald Trump's entire term.

And that is fueled in part by not only independents who don't like Donald Trump, but his own base. And that brings us to this article. So let's get into it. As Donald Trump ate his crab cake lunch inside the White House last month, conservative pollster Mark Mitchell tried to explain that there was a disconnect between the administration and what they seemed to be focused on and what Trump's passionate base of supporters wanted to see. He said, sir, you got shot at the Butler rally saying he invoked the really strong optics of Trump raising his fist in defiance after the assassination temp.

He said fight, fight, fight, fight, but nobody ever clarified what that means. And right now, you're fight, fight, fight, fighting, Marjorie Taylor Green and not actually fight, fight, fighting for Americans. The head pollster at Rasmussen reports warned Trump that many of his supporters believed he hadn't drained the swamp. Of course he hasn't because that was never going to happen. The swamp he wants to drain, he just filled with magabillionaires. I don't know, anyway, you guys know how I feel about it in Washington and suggested that the president refocused with a plan to embrace, quote, pragmatic economic populism. Hmm. To the extent to which we were talking about the economic populism message, he wasn't as interested as I

would have hoped, Mitchell said, adding that it was a long-ranging conversation. And this is not surprising for anybody that's actually been tracking Donald Trump. Again, he doesn't care. He doesn't care. And once you understand that about Donald Trump, everything he makes sense. He doesn't care about the economy. He's a billionaire. He has all this money. He doesn't worry. He's, you know, all entrenched in this crypto corruption. You talk about the cost of living. You talk about housing being unaffordable. You talk about any issue affecting the United States. He doesn't care. He cares more about himself. And this is coming from, you know, a conservative pollster who works with him, not for him, but works with him. Mitchell's critique echoes a growing chorus of

MAGA faithful raising concerns over what they see as Trump's second term shortcomings. In recent weeks, pockets of his base known for its unwavering dedication to Trump and his MAGA agenda have accused him of focusing too much on foreign affairs, failing to address the cost of living issues. he pledged to fix, aligning himself too closely with billionaires and tech moguls, and resisting the release of the Epstein files, which, by the way, the deadline is Friday, and they've made no movement on that. Quote, driving 80 miles an hour at a brick wall. Public polling has showed mixed signals about how much Trump's support has slipped among

Republicans. He maintains support from the vast majority of the party, or completely expected, I should say, not unexpected, though recent polling shows he has dipped below the usual 90% approval mark. That's pretty significant for your own party because if they're not backing you, then the other Americans, the independence, and certainly the Democrats, aren't either. But his approval rating overall has lagged in recent weeks. It reached its worst with voters in late November and has ticked up slightly. And of course, we just watched the or looked at, I should say, the economist poll and the aggregate, that apparent softness has coincided with some Republicans pushback against aspects of his agenda,

including when GOP state senators in Indiana last week blocked their redistricting ever. effort. What remains to be seen is whether that brewing dissatisfaction will grow or whether Trump can more aggressively focus on issues that quiet the discontent. He said Tuesday that his remaining three years in office amount to an eternity in Trump time to carry out his agenda. Do I think that Donald Trump will be able to correct course and get back on track? No. The answer is no. Still, the chorus of supporters willing to speak out has become louder. Mitchell was invited to the White House by J.D. Vance, who talks to him on Twitter, but that's pretty much it. He then met with Donald Trump and Susie Wiles and the whole host of the lunatics.

Mitchell said in an interview that Trump listened to his concerns and asked questions, but eventually pivoted to one of his favorite conversation topics. Golf. Completely on brand. Let's move to another topic in this article. Punchy tweets, cool video edits no follow-through. Savannah Hernandez, a conservative commentator who serves as a turning point USA contributor, described the second Trump term so far as underwhelming. She was among, the influencers the White House assemble for an Antifa roundtable last month with Trump to discuss how to stop a loosely knit movement of far-left activists who have at times incited violence during protests. But again, Antifa's not a thing. It's not an organization. It's just something

that Donald Trump made up. But on that and a host of other issues, Trump's base cares about, including the administration's goal to deport more than one million people and more. Hernandez says he has fallen short. So you're losing your pollsters. you're losing the MAGA influencers, and Donald Trump is losing the voters. It feels like a perfect storm of failure for this regime. Quote, all we've really seen is punchy tweets, cool video edits, but really no follow-through on any of the promises, she said of the messaging coming from the White House. And if he listened to his base and he was connected to us even just through social media,

you would see that the average person is still struggling to buy groceries, that the housing crisis is still on the mind of everybody, that inflation is still a really big issue. and when Americans see billions of dollars going overseas to any country, it really feels like a betrayal when we're struggling here at home. Now, two senior White House officials said Trump has shown a range of feedback from MAGA commentators, including criticism about his performance and more. But they also said that basically it's not a big deal. They downplayed the extent to which criticism within the movement is a warning sign. I don't think so.

I think the criticism is getting louder and it will be more damaging for Donald Trump. but it really shows you the dynamics in the White House. Even Donald Trump's senior staff know that things are going bad for him. They're even compiling criticism of him to hopefully course correct as the article talks about, but I really don't have any faith that's going to happen. Now, populist voices are, as we mentioned, urging Trump to course correct. In Georgia, a 36-year-old Jesse Meadows, a Trump voter who describes herself as MAGA, grew frustrated this year as prices remained high,

and the president responded dismissively, that's putting it nicely, to the push of the release of more Epstein files. Her disappointment hardened as Trump attacked Marjorie Taylor Green and Thomas Massey. Now, she voted for Trump is a big Trump supporter, but she voted for Democratic candidates in Public Service Commission elections in Georgia in November that flipped the seats from GOP to the Republicans. And she said that going forward, she'll only vote for candidates she deems is America first. And I think that's the big departure you're going to see in the Republican Party. People will start claiming that Donald Trump is not America first, which is obvious. He has never put this country before anything,

despite what he claims. And that's going to be the big departure. People won't support Donald Trump anymore. We talked about this on the show yesterday that a lot of these Republican congressmen and women are going to start pushing back on Donald Trump and dropping him when lame duck period sets in. And if his disapproval rating continues to go up and his approval rating continues to go down, they're going to care more about their seats than sucking up to Donald Trump. Remember, they're sucking up to Donald Trump comes from a desire of self-preservation. They want to stay in their seats so they're forced to suck up to Donald Trump. And then that's the reality of it.

And when Donald Trump's approval starts to go down and nobody really likes him anymore, they'll run. I'm confident. She said, if I had known what Trump was going to turn into now, I would have stayed home. Many supporters like her have been turned off by seeing what was once a full calendar of rallies in Middle America replaced with opulent events with business leaders, deal signings with billionaires and travel abroad. While meeting with Trump, Mitchell told him that his base wanted to see him smash the oligarchy,

not be the oligarchy. I don't know how anybody thinks Donald Trump is not the oligarchy given the fact that, again, he's a billionaire. He lived in gold penthouses in Manhattan his entire life. I mean, you know, give me a break. So look, Donald Trump is in a really bad spot politically right now. And it can feel very hopeless in politics these days, but I think this is a good sign, genuinely.

His own base is turning on him. His pollsters are warning him. His team is warning him. The influencers are warning him. He's becoming increasingly lonely and isolated.
