All right, so I'm not joking when I say this, but the interaction that J.D. Vance had with journalist
George Stephanopoulos live on ABC News this morning might be one of the most embarrassing moments for this administration so far.
He clearly backed himself into a corner, couldn't find a way out, and just started screaming and raging.
And eventually, the interview just cut out regardless of J.D. Vance trying to interrupt, trying to get another word in.
it's clear he fumbled on the one. So I want to show you this clip and just show you how badly it went for J.D. Vance. Before I do so, make sure to subscribe to the channel down below. It goes an incredibly long way. Drop a like on the video, comment. Let me know what you think about the story. Without further ado, let me just give you some context first. This interview was long, but one of the main topics they covered was this groundbreaking story about Tom Holman, Donald Trump's Borders, are accepting $50,000 from under-
FBI agents posing as businessmen and in exchange, Homan promised them government contracts
when Trump got into office. It's one of the many examples of corruption in this administration
with the most corrupt president we've ever had in modern American history. And the Trump
administration shut down the investigation. They determined there was no wrongdoing from somebody
who accepted a bribe. And so rightly so, J.D. Vance was asked about this story. And clearly,
the administration hasn't nailed exactly how to respond yet because this was a complete and total disaster for Vance.
So let's just watch the interaction. It's around three minutes long. Take a look.
The White House Borders are Tom Homan was recorded on an FBI surveillance tape in September 2024, accepting $50,000 in cash.
Did he keep that money or give it back?
George, you've covered the story ad nauseum. Tom Homan did not take a bribe. It's a ridiculous smear.
and the reason you guys are going after Tom Homan so aggressively
is because he's doing the job of enforcing the law.
I think it's really preposterous.
I know Tom.
I think that he's a good man.
He gets death threats.
He gets attacked.
He gets constantly threatened by people
because he has the audacity to one who enforce the country's immigration laws.
I think that it would be a much more interesting story about why is it
that Tom Homan, who is simply enforcing American's immigration laws,
is getting constantly harassed and threatened to the point of death threats.
That's a much more interesting question that I think journalists should focus on.
We can agree to disagree on that question.
That's what we call a non-answer, by the way.
And by the way, he said he didn't take a bribe,
which is J.D. Vance's slimy, disingenuous way of describing the situation.
Because J.D. Vance would not describe it as a bribe.
He would just describe it as an exchange of services.
And that's how he's getting away with it.
So instead of say, yo, he says, oh, he didn't take a bribe, he just took an exchange for services.
It's such crap.
You said he didn't take a bribe, but I'm not sure you answered the question.
Are you saying that he did not accept the $50,000?
George, this story has been covered ad nauseum.
He did not take a bribe.
Did he accept $50,000?
I'm sure that in the course of Tom Homan's life, he has been paid more than $50,000 for services.
The question is, did he do something illegal?
And there's absolutely no evidence that Tom Homan has ever taken.
I'm asking a different question.
I'm asking you, did he accept the administration?
I'm asking you, did he accept the $50,000 that was caught on the surveillance?
Did he accept that $50,000 or not?
George, I don't know what you're talking about.
Did he accept $50,000 for what?
He was recorded on an audio tape in September 2024, an FBI surveillance tape accepting $50,000 in cash.
Did he keep that money?
Accepting $50,000 for doing what, George?
I'm not even sure I understand the question.
illegal to take a payment for doing services. The FBI has not prosecuted him. I've never seen
any evidence that he's engaged in criminal wrongdoing. Nobody has accused Tom of violating a crime,
even the far left media like yourself. So I'm actually not sure what the precise question is.
Did he accept $50,000? Honestly, George, I don't know the answer to that question. What I do know
is that he didn't violate a crime. So you don't, what was caught on the tape, you're saying right now,
you don't know whether or not he kept that money.
I don't know what tape you're referring to, George.
I saw media reports that Tom Holman accepted a bribe.
There's no evidence of that.
And here's, George, why fewer and fewer people watch your program
and why you're losing credibility,
because you're talking, for now five minutes with the Vice President of the United States
about this story regarding Tom Holman, a story that I've read about,
but I don't even know the video that you're talking about.
I am so...
I'm feeling so many things right now, if I'm being honest.
I am in disbelief that this guy is the vice president of the United States.
I'm in disbelief at his used car salesman demeanor in how he's talking about this.
He's just saying, oh, I don't know.
I don't know what you're talking about.
Yes, you do.
Yes, you do.
He was answering questions about it earlier saying definitively that Tom Holman didn't take a bribe.
And now he's like, well, I don't actually, I don't know what you're talking about.
I don't know what money you're referencing for services.
He is so slimy.
he's so disingenuous, it's so gross.
And I think this interview perfectly shows that, you know,
this administration is never going to be honest with the American people,
regardless of how clear a story is.
Tom Holman was caught on camera, on camera, on video,
taking $50,000 from FBI agents who were pretending to be businessmen.
And then out of nowhere, J.D. Vance says,
I don't know what you're talking about,
even though he's ranted about this on social media, even though he's answering questions about it
and seemingly knowledgeable about it in this interview right now. It's so slimy. And of course,
this did not go well for J.D. Vance. And so instead of engaging in the interview in good faith,
he went to social media instead to rant about his feelings, saying peace in the Middle East,
China threatening critical supply chains, government shutdown. George S. doesn't care about that.
He's here to focus on the real story, a fake scandal involving Tom Homan.
But I thought J.D. Vance didn't know what happened.
I thought J.D. Vance didn't know if Tom Homan kept the money.
So it's a fake scandal, but he also doesn't know anything about it.
And I took the liberty to respond to J.D. Vance's tweet.
I just had to.
J.D. Vance here to cry on social media after getting cooked in his interview this morning with the photo we all know of J.D. Vance.
I mean, it's just so I'm very angry.
There's things I want to say that would just not be appropriate for this video.
But I do want to show you another clip that really puts these things side by side with what the administration is claimed, what Tom Homan is claimed.
All of their arguments here seem to contradict.
They seem to not be able to find one line of argument to defend themselves.
And that's why this story is so shady.
And that's also how you know that Tom Homan definitely took a bribe, at least, you know, according to all the evidence we have.
So just take a look and look at their claims side by side.
It's truly remarkable.
On the Holman investigation, I mean, can you just speak to, did the president ask the Justice Department to close the case?
And does Holman have to return the $50,000?
Well, Mr. Holman never took the $50,000 that you're referring to, so you should get your facts straight, number one.
And they said that you took $50,000 in cash in a bag from an undercover FBI agent to help them win government contracts in Trump's second term.
the DOJ said they concluded there was no criminal wrongdoing,
but nevertheless that story is out there,
and I imagine you want to respond to that.
Absolutely. Look, I did nothing criminal.
I did nothing illegal.
And it's hit piece after hit piece after hit piece.
And I'm glad the FBI and DOJ came out and said,
and said that nothing illegal happened,
no criminal activity.
You're talking about guys spent 34 years enforcing the law.
I mean, I left a very successful business
that I ran to come back and work for a government again.
I'm back on a government paycheck.
Not only did I sacrifice my family sacrifices.
I make sacrifices every day.
I got more debt threats than anybody.
I got a security around me, but guess what?
My kids don't, my wife don't.
I mean, I haven't lived with my wife in months
because I don't want her to be here right now with all the threats.
So after all the sacrifices, after serving my nation all these years,
they want to come on and dirty me up.
And it's not going to end.
There's a hit piece on me every two weeks.
But keep coming, because you know,
you know what, Tom Holman isn't going anywhere.
Tom Homer isn't shutting up.
And Tom Homer's going to keep doing what he's doing
because we're going to President Trump's the greatest sign of my life.
We're making this country safer again every day.
All right, all right.
Wrap it up, Tom, wrap it up.
Nobody needs to hear you yap about all the achievements.
You make up on the spot.
Nobody needs to hear all that.
But it's just interesting that Caroline Levitt says, you know,
he didn't take any money.
What are you talking about?
And then Tom Homan says, well, actually, no, no, I didn't do anything illegal.
Do you see those small little word differences that members of the Trump administration use to defend themselves?
Not only is it not a good defense because whether it's a bribe or taking payment, it's still wrong, okay?
But it's so disingenuous, it's so gross and that's how they try to get away with it.
That's how they give an argument to their base to say, well, you know, Tom Homan says he did nothing illegal.
Yeah, okay, but that doesn't mean he didn't take the money, right?
I mean, at least according to them.
Anyway, is this just so ridiculous?
And I thought this interaction that J.D. Vance had with George Stephanopoulos today was truly so embarrassing.
There are more clips from this interview. I recommend you go check it out.
But I will leave the video there. Thank you so much for watching.
