Harry Sisson breaks down Donald Trump's state fair getting shut down.

The Great American State Fair is closed due to heat. Everyone must exit until 5 p.m. The signs at the fair saying event postponed, we will reopen at 5 p.m. Please proceed to the nearest exit and everyone is getting kicked out right now as we speak. Freedom 250, the company that Donald Trump has backed for this state fair, even putting out their own statement, saying due to the heat and in coordination with public safety officials, the Great American State Fair will be closed until 5 p.m. today. The safety and well-being of our guests, volunteers, performers, vendors, and staff is our highest priority, which we know not to be true because different pieces of the fair are falling apart, whether it be the Timu arch that Trump has built or the stages literally having pieces of the ceiling fall down and almost injured people, which was caught on video we talked about yesterday. Obviously, safety is not a major concern for them.

Right now in D.C., it is 1001 degrees with 42% humidity, which just thinking about being outside in that temperature makes me feel gross. It just sounds awful. But that's what Donald Trump's state fair looks like today. And I want to remind everybody that, of course, Donald Trump is going to be speaking

around the state fair. He's going to be giving a speech very soon. And he says, at the speech he gave the other day, on July 7, that's going to be approximately 107 degrees out. And I'm going to go and I'm going to make a really long speech just to show I can do anything. This is what Trump said.

On July 4th, it's going to be, approximately 107 degrees out. And I'm going to go and I'm going to make a really long speech just to show that I can do anything. It's going to be 107. So the text is wrong actually. It said on July 4th. That's the day that he's giving his speech.

But on July 4th, he's going to go out there and give a two-hour speech in a 107 degree weather. You know, if I had to take a guess, that's not going to go very well for a variety of reasons. be Trump just completely failing during the speech, even possibly suffering from heat-related issues, or just nobody being in attendance. I imagine that this speech is not going to go well for Donald Trump, but I want to show you more on people getting kicked out of this state fair.

Here is Selena Wang. She is a senior White House correspondent for ABC News. This is the video she posted. And look, the state fair looks exactly the same as it normally does, even though everybody's been kicked out. Nobody there. Proceed to the nearest exit. Attention fairgoers.

They did say, attention fair gores. The event had been postponed. themselves. Others said they were just trying to survive with the density. Please refer to freedom 250 social media. Yeah, wow. Did I just hear that right? They said 150,000 people came in the first three days.

So we're just making up stuff now. I mean, you know, that's a pretty consistent theme in the Trump administration. But they're really just making up stuff now. They're just throwing random numbers out there. Why not make it a million? Why not make it two million? Why not make it 10 gazillion, bazillion, bazillion? Why not?

Let me just throw out random numbers now. If they're just saying, you know, 150,000 people came in the first three days. You guys, there's such, you know, awful liars. I mean, make the lie even at least believable, you know what I mean? Throw it in the ballpark. Don't give me 150,000. But that's what the fair looks like. Everybody getting kicked out. Everybody being told to leave. You can't come back until five. And this has been an ongoing issue with Donald Trump of people experiencing heat-related issues and really not getting great care. I mean, for example, this is a woman here who said she saw stars. She had to go to the medical tent where she was given a towel and whatnot. And she

got back out there, but she had a medical-related issue at the state fair. It's been affecting folks like Megan, Nicoletti, and her husband, Brian, and, you know, Megan, you were just over in the medical tent being treated. Tell us about how you're feeling. Now I'm fine, but previously, none of these booths have air conditioning. We don't know what happened, but I started seeing stars. Oh, really? And we went to the tent. There's a religious tent, because that's the theme for today. And they had a pool. They're baptizing people.

Thank God they had the pool. They said, do you want to get in? Yes, I think I do. I think I want to be baptized. I'm soaking wet. But I went to the medic tent. They took care of me. I still got one of these towels.

They filled me with electrolytes. But good, little. Nice folks in there for sure. Oh, they're wonderful. They are absolutely excellent. DC fire helped. She had to get in the pool. She had to get in the pool.

If this is the best they got, then man, is that pathetic. I mean, this is obviously not a big crowd. And as you heard from Selena Wang, she's been on the ground there. She's seen the crowd. It's not large. It's sparsely popular. It's sparsely popular. I think is the phrase that she used. It's still not big, despite Fox News and everybody else saying otherwise. I just wanted to point that out, of course.

Here is a journalist talking to one of the organizers, one of the people who works at the state fair, and this worker saying that they were not properly prepared for a heat wave like this and how to deal with it. Got it just a second to tell us what's going on right now. So right now it's a heat wave going on. Here, stand back here. It's a heat wave going on right now.

And people were just outside having fun. but people also outside and passing out. Okay? How many people did you see pass out yourself? Seven people passed out in the last one hour. 67 people passed out in the last one hour. I promise that's why they closing me. Is the event well prepared enough for this?

I mean, at my station, I can't talk through the whole thing. You see, I got waters. Well, I had waters, but I still got cold water inside. So I don't know. Is anybody going to the emergency room? A lot of people with. A lot of people with. But they got little medical tents over there.

What you can see, they got medical tents. It's five to six. It's five to six beds in the medical center, and they got free air and free water. Did your bosses prepare you for something like this? Did they say that today was going to be a mass? I mean, not really. They just said, they just said, just be out here. Just be out here.

Yeah, they're just going to show up and something's going to happen, right? Something going to happen. My job is to make sure that y'all up, y'all thirsty, and I mean, now y'all dehydrated, y'all hydration, and y'all good. That's it. Wow, him just, he said, yeah, my bosses didn't prepare me for any of this. just said be out here. That's great. Good job, Donald. Nobody could have seen this coming, despite, you know, the weather showing that this was going to be the case for days now.

Nice one, Donald, really taking care of the people. What a total joke. And I wanted to include this clip finally to give you an idea of what Fox News and the Republicans are saying. This is how they are covering the state fair being shut down temporarily due to heat. We saw a few thousand people out there. They're still running with this. Just take a look. All right. They are closing it for the time being.

We're just getting word of this. Due to the heat, Mark Meredith is there. What's going on, Mark? Hey, Sandra, I can confirm the heat is absolutely a major factor here. We are just shy of 100 degrees right now with the heat index. It feels well over it. Just moments ago, they pushed everybody to the exits

off the side of the National Mall. You can see one of the exits here. And I know we've been talking about crowd size all week, because this has been the busiest day of the fair. We saw a few thousand people out here, especially as the flybys were going on. But now, as you can see, they're pushing everybody out. God bless you. You guys get over, okay? Yeah, let me help. Let me help you.

Just be careful getting to the exit. They've also put up signs right here, Sandra, that show what's going on. They say the event postponed. We will reopen at 5 p.m. Now, there's always possible that they could extend those closures right here. The heat is going to continue well through sunset. But you can also hear on the loudspeaker right here. They pushed everybody to the exit.

We've seen a number of VIPs, cabinet secretaries, Donald Trump Jr. was out here earlier today. A lot of people coming to check it out as we expected Sandra. This is going to be the heat of the event itself. But obviously these temperatures, which we've been talking about all week, are dangerous. And they wanted to make sure people can seek shelter because, as you know on the mall, you were just here, Sandra, there is nowhere to hide from the sun unless you're in those state pavilions. The state pavilions, might I add, which don't have air conditioning,

according to that Trump supporting woman who was wearing a maga hat in it, when she experienced her medical issue. So this is what's going on at Trump's state fair. I've said this before on the show. I think everything that could have gone wrong for the state fair has, and it's not surprising that it's gone wrong because they just didn't prepare correctly. This was not organized well. The construction is shoddy.
