As these deportations continue,
San Joaquinians continue to murder, torture, and kidnap our people.
What you're looking at on your screen right now is the American people revolting
against Donald Trump and against his administration over their latest scandal.
It's something we've seen before and it's happened again.
The other day in Austin, Texas, an immigrant, a man legally in the country, was shot in the back
by ice.
Thankfully, he is still alive, but he is in critical condition.
And we're getting updates on his status as the days go on.
by his lawyers and people connected to him, but it's something that the Trump administration has
done before, Renee Nicole Good, Alex Prattie, and the many others who don't get talked about enough,
and people are getting out in the streets and protesting against Trump, revolting against his
administration, and with so little time between now and the midterms, people have to remember
that this is Donald Trump's America, this is his vision, where ICE is unregulated, these officers
who are in masks, in unmarked cars, can do whatever they want, and Donald Trump and his
administration will come to their rescue.
So we're going to cover this story.
We'll talk about all of it and more.
But first, let's get a breakdown here.
Venezuelan man shot by ICE agents as enforcement surges in Austin.
The shooting of Wilbur, Rafael, Garses Perez, comes months after increased federal immigration
enforcement across the Texas Capitol.
The shooting of a man by federal immigration officers on Sunday in Texas ruptured unobstensibly
quiet afternoon amid an immigration enforcement surge in Austin.
ICE has been very active in the Texas Capitol as of late, although less showy than the
militarized federal violence in Minneapolis this January, or even Los Angeles as well,
helping keep the operation effective, but flying under the national radar. They don't want people
knowing that ICE is there. Then shots rang out. Wilbur Raphael Garcese Perez, 28 years old,
was in the process of delivering a DoorDash food order on the city's north side when ICE encountered
him shortly before 1 p.m. Video posted online appears to show an ICE officer getting out of his car
and shooting at the man three times. His car, as later,
visible at the scene had a large dent on the front passenger side.
Garses Perez, who was hit once in the back between his shoulder blades, is a Venezuelan
National who has lived in the United States for two years, according to his lawyer, but had been
ordered removed from the U.S.
Garses Perez told onlookers who rushed to the scene that he had been shot because he
hadn't stopped.
Austin police officers who arrived could be seen in bystander footage, rendering first
aid to the bleeding man, while ICE officers stood back.
So ICE did not give him any medical aid whatsoever.
They had to wait until the police got there.
And of course, with any shooting, time is of the essence.
Seconds matter.
And ICE just kind of stood around there and said, well, what are we going to do about this?
You know, we shot him.
So like, what are we?
Render aid.
What are you guys doing?
Take him to the hospital.
It's insane.
He was then taken to a downtown hospital for treatment.
But according to lawyer Kate Lincoln, who is representing him, was whisked away from there
by ICE late Sunday afternoon.
For a few hours, his partner and the lawyer could not locate him.
But then on Monday morning, Lincoln Goldfinch told the Guardian he'd been located at the South Texas Ice Processing Center located 140 miles to the southwest of Texas.
So they decided, hey, we shot this guy.
Let's take him to the hospital.
But wait, wait, actually, no, no, no, let's take him to an ICE detention center.
These people are monsters.
I mean, we genuinely have to have trials for these people, for these ICE agents who do crap like this if we take back power come November.
This is unacceptable.
It is unacceptable.
According to his lawyer, the bullet is still lodged in his back with known pain medication,
and he was also forced to sleep on the ground.
This is a man who was just shot, and this is how ICE is behaving.
His lawyer also on social media confirming that he has a valid work permit and that their conduct
raises questions about ICE's unlawful use of force, which it absolutely should.
And as I mentioned, people are getting to the streets, taking up their signs, their voices against this administration.
This is one example.
This episode is brought to you by Animals.
How far would you go when someone threatens everyone you love?
Who can you trust?
From Academy Award winner Ben Affleck.
Animals stars Affleck, Kerry Washington, Jillian Anderson, and Stephen Young.
When a Los Angeles mayoral candidate's son is kidnapped, he and his wife are pulled into a web of deception,
forced to make choices that could tear their world apart.

rated R. This is right by the scene of the shooting, by the way. And here's that other video
we were briefly looking at, and we'll continue looking at this footage of all these people
protesting. This was covered by a local news outlet in the air.
As long as these deportations continue, they will continue to murder, torture, and
kidnap our people.
Local investigation. I trust the feds. We don't trust the state. Local investigation.
This is not freedom.
This is not bravely.
This is not what I'm going to turn.
Damn right they're going to turn.
And when they do, and when they do, ICE has to be on notice.
These officers who have shot people, who have picked up people in unmarked vehicles,
violated their basic human rights, had an unlawful use of force.
They better be on notice.
There has to be accountability here.
We can't let this period in American history just come and go.
Oh, yeah, Donald Trump is out of office.
That's great.
We all want that.
What comes next for the people who enabled this crap,
who committed crimes.
The Austin mayor is also speaking out saying,
I'm very angry about this,
and MAGA is for some reason upset that he's annoyed.
I also want to say,
just because I think it needs to be said,
that as mayor of the city of Austin,
I'm very angry about this.
I'm extremely unhappy.
A person being shot on the streets of Austin
by someone purporting to be law enforcement,
particularly when it's ice,
is something that causes me to be unhappy.
and angry about it.
And while I'm unhappy and I'm angry about it,
I'm not surprised at all.
It's happened in other cities
with the nature of ICE
and the way ICE is doing its business these days
and the chaos that we see it performing
and fomenting.
There's no reason for us to be surprised by it.
He's absolutely right.
And he made a really good point on the back end there
that like this is just the new normal
in Donald Trump's America,
which is why I think it's so important.
for Americans to remember things like this.
Remember Renee Nicole Good.
Remember Alex Preti.
That is Donald Trump's vision for America.
Nothing has changed.
It keeps getting worse by the day.
And we have to vote these people out.
It's so vital that they get out of office.
But of course, you have these Trump bootlickers,
these people who love ICE for some reason,
who are defending this.
So you have the rapid response account at the White House,
which speaks on behalf of Donald Trump,
saying that Congressman Representative Greg Cesar
comparing immigration enforcement to war
and says that the only way for Austin to be safe is to stop enforcing immigration law altogether.
Of course, that is a complete misrepresentation of what he said,
but they're running a misinformation campaign to justify the ICE agent shooting,
this 28-year-old man who had a work permit in the United States.
I mean, they're ghouls. They're really, really just evil people.
You have this guy as well, Eric Dardy, who's essentially a mouthpiece for the administration,
saying migrant and leftist protesters are storming up to police in Austin,
waving Mexican flags and going berserk,
I guarantee you a swath of this crowd as undocumented immigrants.
These people don't even know why the shooting took place and they're already protesting.
ICE risks their lives to protect America and remove criminals.
People resist and it produces violence.
You know what produces violence?
They shot somebody.
What are you talking?
Oh, my, I can't get too angry because it's just ridiculous.
And what is Trump doing during this time?
As people are being shot in the streets of American cities, where is the president of the United States?
Well, he's doing what he's normally doing.
He's playing golf.
He posted this on social.
media the other day. Maga loved it for some reason. They said Trump posted this. Liberals can't
stand it. Trump never stops. And it's a video of Trump playing golf with Bryson DeShambo. It's like a
professional golfer. This is the clip. Which by the way, I'm no golf expert, but his swing,
Trump's that is, just looks goofy as hell. He just looks goofy as hell. But that's what the
president of the United States is doing is people are being shot in our streets. Let me say
that again, shot in our streets, and this is how Donald Trump is behaving. And this is what
the Republicans are doing. They justify it. So please, if you have the opportunity, share the story
around. It doesn't have to be this video. It can be an article, whatever you want, but share
the story around. I really, really think people need to see this. People need to know about the
tragedies, the atrocities that are taking place under this administration that are being defended
by this administration. Thank you so much for watching. Please make sure to subscribe down below.
