By the way, she is, hey, been covering baseball forever. She's covering the second best team in Southern California, but nonetheless, it is a great year to be a baseball fan in Southern California

because it's just there are so many stars. Teams playing well right now. Good stuff. Oh, it's fun. It's fun. So let me start with this. The draft is a week away. From right now it's a week away.

You know I love the draft. And whenever you get to the draft, you know, there's always what they call comps. You know, what's this guy going to be, what's this guy going to be at the high end? What's he going to be at the low end? So Zach Wilson, we know there's five quarterbacks going in the first round. Some say six, but five. One's not going to work. One's going to be a star.

And then it's kind of where they land. So I've said Zach Wilson, BYU to the Jets, that's where he's going, is the one that smells like trouble. Very talented. but his comp has been Aaron Rogers. And the belief is, oh, if you're compared to Aaron Rogers, well, you're going to succeed. The other comp form is Johnny Mansell, though, an utter disaster. Because Johnny Mansell did not inherit the stability of the Packers. He went to Cleveland.

So as we get closer to the draft, you dig and dig and find more and more. and I do see a lot of Aaron Rogers with Zach Wilson of BYU. Not as much Johnny Mansell. But I'm going to show you something interesting about Zach Wilson. Here's how he did against the teams he played in his career that won 10 plus games. And this is not exactly Alabama and Ohio State. The five teams he played, 10 plus wins, coastal Carolina, Hawaii, San Diego State, Utah, and Boise State.

Okay. Good programs, not Oklahoma. He went 0 and 5, one touchdown, seven picks, completed 61% of his throws. In those five games, the next Aaron Rogers had one touchdown pass. And BYU's got players. BYU is a good program. He's not surrounded by a bunch of stiffs. BYU is a top 25 program.

The two best coaches he faced were Kyle Wittingham at Utah and Chris Peterson at Washington. Those weren't necessarily the best teams, but really good coaches. Could coach in the NFL. Against those teams, he was 0 for three with three touchdowns and four interceptions. You're seeing a pattern here. And it is an Aaron pattern. He's a frontrunner. That's always been my knock on Aaron Rogers.

He's great against average. Against tough, he often bails. Now, I'm going to list a series of words or terms. And you tell me who you think of. Flashy. Cool. Been injured a few times. Not huge in terms of physical stature.

Wow, what an arm. Likes to show off a little. That's not Aaron Rogers. That's what you thought it was. That's Zach Wilson. They share all these similarities. But Colin, that's a great comp. Who would not want to be compared to Aaron Rogers?

But it's as if people have amnesia about Aaron Rogers' first four years in the league. Aaron sat for three years, went to a stable franchise in a small market, a culture that is patient in a historically dysfunctional division. And he was surrounded by great talent at wide receiver and running back. And the team had been 13. in three the year before. And with all that, the great Aaron Rogers was a hot mess, his first year starting, six and ten and the most picks of his career. And don't tell me Aaron couldn't pick up the system.

He's one of, if not the smartest quarterback in the league. Aaron was a hot mess. He had Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, a thousand-yard rusher, an excellent head coach. They were 13 and 3 the year before. patient, smart culture, Green Bay. Aaron was 6 and 10. Zach Wilson is going to be asked to start for a rookie head coach.

In the best defensive coach division in years, Sean McDermott, Belichick, Brian Flores, with a battle line, no proven star receivers you can depend on. And we think this guy's going to knock it out of the park. But, but, but he compares to Aaron Rogers. People have amnesia. Aaron got every benefit in the world. Stability and patience and the Packers were great the year before and weapons and three years just watching it.

And he struggled his first year. And you think Zach Wilson is just going to fly in here? This is the trouble spot for me in the draft. We know one of these guys is going sideways. This is it. Zach Wilson so far in his career has shown the ability to dominate garbage, struggle against even good teams like San Diego State, Utah, Coastal Carolina. They do not exist in the AFC East. All right, so Anthony Davis is coming back tomorrow.

I know this is obnoxious and nobody wants to hear this, but the Lakers were the best team in the league last year. they were the best team when LeBron and Anthony Davis played together this year. Now the brittle guy and the older guy have taken a rest and they're about to come back and they're going to be the best team again and they're going to win a championship. The Lakers are the best team. I've watched the Clippers a lot in the last month. Paul George is on fire. There's something there. I've watched Philadelphia.

Ben Simmons take some nights off when he and M. B'd play. They're very good. Still think they need another shooter and I've watched Brooklyn. You know, the four or five games, actually all the guys have played together. have no chemistry and they're not very good defensively, the Lakers will win the championship. And when you watch all these stars play together, Joy and I had talked about this, it was remarkable how LeBron and Anthony Davis clicked immediately. LeBron was best friends with D. Wade. It took three months. They were just clunky together,

even though they had so much talent in Miami. Why do LeBron and AD work? It's really simple. as a basketball player LeBron is a leader as a basketball player Anthony Davis wants to be led a lot of guys in this league think they're leaders Kevin Durant Kiree

but they're not physically or emotionally dependable if you're depending on Anthony Davis he becomes Rashid Wallace who I covered in Portland if you're depending on him he'll drive you nuts but if you ask him to be led

by others, a strong coach and a strong four leader, and just be productive. He's as difficult to defend as anybody. Phil Jackson told me in the middle of the Laker dynasty with Shaq and Kobe. I sat in the hallway of the staples. It was one of those times when Phil Jackson

there and nine reporters. And I asked him in the series, Lakers, or even with Portland, how do you think you can stop Rashid Wallace? He's giving you trouble. Phil Jackson turned to me, all six, seven of him, and said, Colin, we will not be able to stop Rashid Wallace. There's nobody in our roster that can stop him, including Shaq.

If he scores 40, we hope to slow everybody else down. That's how good Rashid Wallace was. He was ahead of his time. God, if he could play today with that three-point shot, Anthony Davis is Rashid without the technicals, without the volatility. He doesn't want to lead, and he has the self-awareness to know, that's not who I am. guys like Kevin Durant and Kyrie want to be the man, but they're not really built for it. Kyrie's just too erratic and physically he gets hurt. KD similarly.

Little off, little erratic behavior, very, very emotional, thin skin, can't be as a leader, have to take the heat. But Anthony Davis has this understanding. I want to be led and LeBron loves to lead. And that's why it works magic. That's why I said when Kevin Durant left the war, I said, man, I'm not sure about this because Steve Kerr's a great leader and so was Steph.

And Kevin Durant could drive to the facility, score 28 a night, grab titles, single guy, have a life, off season, don't have to do all the media stuff for the Warriors. During the season, don't have to do all the media stuff for the Warriors. Draymond likes to talk and Steph likes to talk and Kerr likes to talk and the owner grooved him into some tech investments. It was perfect. And now in Brooklyn, he's got to be the man. And that's not what he is.

What he is is is is brilliantly talented. Kevin Durant, KD, is more AD than he'd ever want to admit. And AD's ability to admit that is why he'll come back. That's what they're paid to do. You have your scouting director. You got your regional scouts. You have your national scouts. And their job is to find flaws.

But there are some players, like a Derek Jeter, you know, out of college or high school, that don't have a lot of flaws. Alex Rodriguez did not have a lot of flaws. Andrew Luck, people started talking about his lack of arm strength. It was like, oh, brother, we're nitpicking. So Trevor Lawrence doesn't have a ton of flaws. This one, I've heard this a lot from fans, and now I'm hearing it from scouts. Well, when he faces real pressure, he's not as good. I'm reading this this morning.

An NFL scout said this. Boy, under pressure, you see him rush the process. He hurries through it. That needs to be baked into Urban's thinking. So when he gets pressure, he has to hurry through stuff. Yeah, that's what you would do when you're pressured. If you're in traffic and somebody cut you off, you put the brakes on a little, or you speed up to, you know, avoid getting hit. That's what you would do.

This is a nonsense argument. I read another quote this morning from somebody against Ohio State in 2020, he threw for 400 yards, but he struggled against the Buckeyes pressure. I could be wrong, but 2020 Chase Young played for Ohio State. The best prospect out of college at pass rushing the sports had for years. So let's just take what pressure does. Patrick Mahomes, the guy. Last two Super Bowls, he's faced Tampa's pressure and then the 49ers pressure. That's real pressure.

Patrick Mahomes. This is with Andy Reed, with Travis Kelsey, with Cheetah, with legit running backs. Eight quarters in the Super Bowl, Patrick Mohomes has two touchdowns, four picks, has completed 57% of his throws with an abysmal 64-passer rating. funny what that pressure thing does. That's Patrick Mahomes with a great system and coach. Oh, by the way, Brett Farr of Mr. Gunslinger in the playoffs when he faced better teams, better coaching, better pressure. 13 and 11 with 30 picks.

Tom Brady last year, the goat. And I'll include his playoffs when he went 4-0. So I'll include the hot stretch against pressure last year. The dad of Tom Brady against pressure. his passer rating was a 46.8 and he completed 42% of his throws, 4 TD 6 picks. With Bruce Sarians, that O-line, that running game, those receivers and tight ends. A passer rating of 46. There's never been a quarterback in my life who was great under pressure.

Russell Wilson makes more out of duress than anybody I've ever seen. But even Russell Wilson last year through 13 picks and kind of went sideways in October, November. Like frustrated the staff. Nobody's good under pressure. And yes, when you face LSU as Trevor Lawrence did and they have 14 NFL players. Yes, it's just amazing. He didn't look the same against LSU as he did against, you know, Boston College. Or when he faced Chase Young at Ohio State.

It's amazing when Chase Young is chasing you down. You're not quite as slick as you were against, you know, Florida State and their bad staff a couple years ago. Listen, you can nitpick this kid apart, but no quarterback in my life. Peyton Manning would go from the best have ever seen to a mess with interior pressure. Brady struggles with pressure. Eli, two Super Bowls. Pressure becomes an interception machine. It's the reality.

And I actually think it's much easier to predict how they'll do after the draft based on where they land. So I have a list here of the 32 quarterbacks taken in the last 10 years in the first round. here's the best winning percentages. Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Andrew Luck, and Teddy Bridgewater. Now, Bridgewater doesn't feel nearly as talented, right?

But he got Mike Zimmer. Mike Zimmer's known as one of the four or five sharp defensive coaches in the NFL. He's very respected. Vegas, actually, loves Mike Zimmer. They're big fan. Mike Zimmer gets a buy. Mike Zimmer. Well, four of the five coaches, those quarterbacks landed.

Andy Reed, John Harbaugh, Sean McDermott, and Mike Zimmer. I consider them excellent coaches. Now, Chuck Pagano and Andrew Luck, how do you explain that, Colin? Well, I think Andrew Luck was not a prospect. He was a prodigy. He is a once-in-a-decade-a-talent. So when we look at all these quarterbacks coming into the draft, we nitpick them. Most of their success will be based on where do they land?

That's why I think Zach Wilson could struggle. That's why I really don't love Mack Jones as a prospect, but I think if he goes to the right team like San Francisco, he'll succeed. Here is where I'm projecting the quarterback's land. This is really going to dictate how they do. Trevor Lawrence, Urban Meyer. First, I know Urban well, one of the smartest guys I've ever met. I have faith in him.

And I do think Trevor Lawrence, like Andrew Luck, is a once-in-a-decade talent that will win, even if Urban three years in doesn't work. Trevor's just, he's Andrew Luck. It's going to work. Zach Wilson, Robert Sala. I'm predicting trouble. Mack Jones, Kyle Shanahan. Zach Wilson's more talented than Mac Jones.

But Mac Jones taking over a Super Bowl roster and Kyle Shanahan. I think you'll have some success. My mock draft yesterday, Tray Lance goes to Belichick, who I think moves up to about seven or eight in both Detroit and Carolina at seven and eight would love more picks. I think he gets Tray Lance. I think it works. It's behind Cam for a year. It works.

Justin Fields, I think, goes to Denver. I have real questions. And I like Justin Fields. And so out of this, I think what you're going to have is Trevor Lawrence is going to win a lot of games, maybe not Super Bowls. Mack Jones is going to be successful with a ceiling. And Trey Lance may take a couple years. Could end up being the big winner.

Super smart kid ends up in a very smart system. Just give him two years. But where you land means a lot. more than all the stuff we're nitpicking you about today. T.J. Hushmanzot is about as good as on the draft on these prospects. He coaches him every day. He'll be joining us next hour two. In L.A., it's The Hurt. The dolphins have to really sell, not only sell two to the fans, but they got to sell two to Tua because they benched him last year twice. And there's been multiple stories. Miami Herald, dolphin players are like, we're not sure Tua is any good, blah, blah, blah. So it's inherent. It's really important, I guess, that Miami sells the Tua stuff.

They've got to sell it. And so I saw a story this morning. They're confident in Tua because he is a winner. God, I hate that term. It is my least favorite term. Winner. Every quarterback at Alabama. wins. Every quarterback at Ohio State wins.

The Wayne Haskins, he's a winner. You're not good enough in the NFL. Let me give you some college records for quarterbacks who were winners in college, like legendary winners, all-time winners. Tim Tebow was 48 and 7. Vince Young was 30 and 2. A.J. McCarron was 36 and 3. Kellan Moore was 50 and 3.

None of them, outside of Vince Young for about an hour and a half were any good in the NFL. Let me show you guys who didn't win in college. Patrick Mahomes, under 500. John Elway, under 500. Russell Wilson.

Even spending a year at Wisconsin, a great program, barely above 500. They're better pro-quarterbacks than college quarterbacks. And one of the reasons is that I hate the term winner is there are about six or seven programs in college football that I think have better people that NFL programs. I mean, Cincinnati is legendarily cheap, the Bengals. Detroit's, I mean, Detroit's three greatest. players ever to quit and one Matt Stafford wanted out and got out. Cleveland until recently was a mess for 25 years. Alabama's a better football operation than the Detroit Lions. Alabama's a better football operation than the Cincinnati Bengals, and I would argue the Raiders. It's a better

organization. So, so is Ohio State. So is Clemson. And because college football now pays for the big coaches and assistants like the NFL does in some of these spots, you're getting NFL guys in college. Lincoln Riley could be the coach of the Dallas Cowboys tomorrow. Probably be better than the guy they have. But Oklahoma pays him $7 million a year. $7 million goes a long way in Norman Oklahoma. It goes a long way in New York and L.A. It goes miles further. So when you get these guys making $5, $6, $7, $7, $8 in college like Harbaugh and small towns, and they can control their personnel, they build these unbelievable training staffs, Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State Clems, and their weight facilities. When I lived in Tampa, think about this.

Florida and Florida State. The Gators and the Knowles have had indoor practice facilities for a long time. Jacksonville just got there like three years ago. So Ohio State has, I would say, has better facilities top to bottom than the Bengals do. Oh, yeah. I mean, and by the way, Ohio State, you know, they're paying their head coach. Urban is making more than Zach Taylor. So the reality is, you know, here's a great staff that the staff looked up this morning for Tua.

Since the college football playoff was created in 2020, 2014. Bama's made six playoff appearances in seven years. The dolphins have made one playoff appearance in seven years. What does that tell you? It's easier to win for a quarterback at Alabama than the Miami Dolphins. So this whole thing, oh, he's a winner. It doesn't mean anything to me. It just, you know, a lot of great quarterbacks. Elway Mahalms, Russell Wilson struggled in college because they weren't NC State, Texas Tech. You know, Stanford back then was all academics. The reality of this stuff is my wife used to be in HR years ago. So she hired chefs for a company, helped hire chefs. And we used to have these discussions. We haven't talked about it in a long time, but she had to hire people, HR. And so you start hiring dozens upon dozens upon dozens of people. And you have to be judgmental. HR people are, you know, body language, eye contact. It's not just your resume.

And I can remember, you know, my wife telling stories that I can't even believe they're true. I'm just like, come on, this is this is not true. And I don't think epilepsy should stop anybody from being drafted, but I do think it's something. And just like HR when you're hiring, somebody comes and they don't have their shirt tucked in. It's not everything, but it's something. And I said this years ago about Dak Prescott.

There was a moment for Dak Prescott, and people thought it was nothing. And I said, it's something. It's not everything. It's not even the most thing. But it's something. I've told this story before. He's on the sidelines. He doesn't think's on him.

you know, defense is on the field, and he throws a paper cup and it misses the target, the garbage can. And it bothers him. And he goes back and he grabs it and he puts it the garbage can. Now, by the way, there are paper cups all over the sideline. I mean, you know how guys are. They drink Gatorade. They throw it. They got people to literally pick up paper cups on the sideline.

It bothered that press cup. It bothered him. And I sat on the air the next day I said, he's conscientious. That is something. It's not everything. and he's become very good with the intangibles leadership. And Dan Mullen was Dax college coach. And I brought him in the other day.

And the truth is, Dak wasn't that talented as a thrower. He never was. But there was just a lot of things that NFL people couldn't see. And that's why he dropped to the fourth round. And Dan Mullen talks about the young Dack that nobody but Dan Mullen knew. He came to a camp early on. And, you know, we wanted to love him.

And he didn't throw the ball well. He wasn't very big or exceptionally fast. You know, but everyone said, hey, boy, he is a winner, the high school coach. And everyone looks and says, he just makes everyone around him better. So it became one of these. We wanted to love him. We gave him some things to work on. He came back to the elite camp a couple of weeks later.

I've never seen the intangibles in a human being like he has. He just took over a workout of elite recruits. and he knows nobody and every one of them are ready to follow him wherever he goes. That's very much Russell Wilson. They brought Russell Wilson to Seattle as a third round pick. They'd signed Matt Flynn. And the Seahawks noticed in like early camps, like OTAs, that players just moved toward his optimistic vibe and his body language.

And again, this nothing is everything, everything is something. And when you talk to Dan Mul the other day, he was great, by the way. go back to our archive podcast and listen. I mean, it was funny how often he said, you didn't throw very well, I didn't run very well. It was never the physical attributes. It was just little bits and pieces.

So when I see things, epilepsy, it's not, I think, I don't think it's, it may be 1%. But I think combines are 1%. I think the Wonderlicks 1%.

I think medical history is 1%. I think picking up that piece of paper where Jack Prescott and garbage can, it's 1%. It's something. It's everything. Everything's telling me something about you.

And that's why you can't overreact to any medical information. You just put it like HR people do when they interview you. They just, it's on the file. You're just kind of aware of that something in the profile. So the NFL draft starts a week from today. In best for last, we're going to play buy, sell, or hold. Alex is going to tee me up on some storylines. Here we go.

Time to buy. Colin will decide if he'll buy it. Sell. Roger to sell. Or hold. All right, Colin. Buy sell or hold. Five quarterbacks will be selected in the first eight overall picks.

Five quarterbacks to be selected in the first eight overall picks. Well, seven of the top eight eight teams picking, seven of eight, you could argue would take a quarterback. Atlanta, I doubt, Miami, I doubt. But many believe in a year, they will be looking for a quarterback. quarterback as well. Two quarterbacks, two plus quarterbacks, have been selected in the top ten in six straight drafts. And I'd argue with NFL rule changes, the league has never been more quarterback dependent. So I would say, by five quarterbacks will be selected in the first eight overall picks. All right, buy seller hold. Alabama wide receiver, Devante Smith falls out of

the top 20. Three different times. He could have weighed in in this process, measured weighed in. He declined all of them. His draft position, according to Fox Bet, is somewhere 11.5. But you get into those teams like the Giants at 11 and the chargers around there, they need offensive line help. I'm going to say hold. I do think he has a chance to have a precipitous drop. I don't think there's a lot of teams that need wide receivers in that 11 through 18 spot. All right. By seller hold,

there will be at least two more trades in the top 10. Well, the Atlanta Falcons are taking calls at number four, but according to various reports, they are driving a very hard bargain. We also have a draft with Kyle Pitts, who is many believe the best player in the draft, and he'll be available at four.

There were no trades last year in top 10 picks. first time that's happened in a while. And I don't think Denver, I don't think Denver is going to trade up because I think they like Trey Lance and Justin Fields. And I think when Atlanta doesn't get a quarterback, they can sit, be patient and get one of those two. So I'm going to sell that.

Sell, sell, sell, sell. I don't think there's going to be at least two more trades in the top 10. I think New England is the team that trades up into the top 10. Interesting. All right, buy seller hold. Quarterbacks will be selected in the first four picks. of the draft. All right.

This never happened before. In the history of the draft, that's never happened. And Matt Ryan is such a dead cap hit to your salary cap this year, $65 million, $40 million next year, that they are so tied to his contract that if they got a quarterback, and let's say he's really talented like a Fields and Trey Lansing looks great in the preseason, just think of the nonsense, the media, the fan, pushback, blowback you're going to have to deal with. So I say sell.

Sell, sell. I don't think the Falcons pick a quarterback. All right, by seller hold. Justin Fields will be drafted before Trey Lance. Well, it's interesting now. There's a report now. He has epilepsy. I don't think it's everything. But if a team like Denver could go either way, is that a

difference maker? He has also been the most picked on of all the quarterbacks, little nicks to his reputation. And Trey Lance, I believe, is a better fit for New England just because his personality, his ceiling, and the fact that of all the quarterbacks, he's the one that needs to sit for a year behind Cam Newton. So I think Hold, I'm not sure Justin Fields is getting drafted ahead of Trey Lance. All right, by Seller Hold.

Lions will draft a quarterback with the seventh overall pick. Now, I've heard this, but Dan Campbell, he's a tough guy. I think he wants physical players. They're tied to Goff's contract. Like Matt Ryan, it's a bad cap hit for two years. This team needs so much. Gough is probably one of their most talented players today. When Kenny Goladee got purchased by the Giants, they could go and get a Jamar Chase. They need weapons for Goff. They also need a better O line. So, I mean, they could do this. But I mean, this franchise has needs at every unit. they have a quarterback. So stop living through some pipe dream. You're going to get the next Dan Marino and get the quarterback you have some players. Buy seller hold, Micah Parsons will be the first defensive player drafted. There's not a lot of teams that need a linebacker. So if he fell to like 12 or 13, it's not because he can't play.

Most of your teams in this draft need quarterbacks. They need offensive linemen. and then you have Kyle Pitts and Jamar Chase who are just too good not to pick, even if you were okay at Tied-in and wide receiver. Now, the thing about Michael Parsons, he was a defensive end in high school, a little bit of a roamer, a wanderer,

he can move around the field. But the truth of the matter is, if you start looking at what he did the last time he played as a sophomore, he had 109 tackles. So he's kind of one of these Isaiah Simmons out of Clemson. He's just a machine.

He's a productivity machine. And I think he also runs well. I just think some coach is going to fall in love with him and think he can make him a star. And I think he has star potential. So coaches like to talk themselves into players with that much talent. So I think he'll be the first defensive guy taking. Buy, bye, buy. By seller hold, the Patriots will draft a quarterback in the first round.

Well, Belichick has never drafted a quarterback in the first round. But Cam Newton's got a one-year deal or not paying him anything. This is also an organization that is bereft of offensive talent. So I say, yes, bye, bye, buy. Buy seller hold, six or more quarterbacks will be drafted in the first round. I don't buy it. Kyle Trask at Florida throws a nice ball, but I worry that Dan Mullen elevated him beyond what he is. Kellyn Monde at Texas A&M feels like a second or third round guy.

I mean, listen, I understand the quarterback thing. I look at the bottom of the first round. I guess Tampa could make the, you know, let's go. It's a bad quarterback draft. Brady's old. I could see Tampa may be doing it. But when you have Tom Brady, it just seems like to me at the end of the first round, there's some really nice defensive players.

And Jason Light wants to draft somebody who's going to play. and not just learn because they're going for it for Super Bowls. This is the position. I just don't see it. But if anybody did draft late first round Trask, it would be Tampa Bay played 90 minutes up the road in Gainesville. Sell, so, sell.

You know, it's funny about Micah Parsons. The more I think, Michael Parsons is really interesting. So, J.C. Horn, Dallas at 10, needs defense. And Dallas doesn't need linebacker. So I'm probably wrong. on Micah Parsons. I'm probably wrong. Yeah, I mean, I said he's the first, first defensive player drafted. I think he's going to be the second. I think J.C. Horn, is it too, as your stock broker, get back on the phone, get back on the phone, Micah Parsons' first defensive player drafted. Let's do

a sell. I made a mistake as your stock broker. I'm going to immediately sell the stock I just bought you. I was wrong on that. Because I think J.C. Horn or Patrick Sertain, the corn. is going to be the first player taken. I mean, a lot of this is, Jimmy Johnson said of this week, you know, there was always this saying in the NFL draft. You just draft the best player available. It's nonsense. I mean, if you have Jonathan Ogden was your left tackle

and the best player available was Penae Sewell, you wouldn't draft him. Nobody's going to draft a quarterback if you have, you know, if you've got Patrick Mahomes. And even if it was John Elway, you'd figure out something to get picks for it, but you wouldn't draft it. So the reality of,

some of these guys, Dallas could take anything defensively. But there's only like three players that feel like they could be the first defensive player. Micah Parsons, Certain, the corner, and J.C. Horn. That is it. If you start looking at this draft, most of your good defensive players feel like mid-first-round guys. But I think Mike is one of those guys that's so talented that there is a coach here lobbying for him that I can. make this guy a pro bowl linebacker. He can do everything in our scheme. You can argue on Micah Parsons' behalf because of what the league's becoming, which is he can rush the passer.

He's a, he can play defensive end in high school, linebacker. He's an enforcer. He's a hitter. You can talk, that's what Arizona talked himself into Isaiah Simmons, kind of positionless. It's like he can rush the passer. He can make plays. Michael Parsons is a playmaker. And those guys, you can talk your way. The league's becoming more and more of a playmaker league. It's got a little bit more NBA feel to it where it's more of a space league. Are you good in space? Can you run? Can you make stuff? It's not as position
