There's quite a lot going on right now. A lot going on right now. There's a lot going on in football potentially in the next 48 hours. Don't go anywhere. So, you know, listen, fans are important during the pandemic. We didn't have fans. And the networks all, I thought the networks did a

great job. I thought Fox and CBS and NBC shooting NFL games, you know, the camera angle, so you didn't see empty stands. I thought it was really amazing. I thought it was a production. home run by all the networks to make the games look and sound piped in crowd noise as good as they did a plus for all the networks on that but boy you need fans you really need fans and there has never been a greater example of that than the new york nix and the atlanta hawk series i honestly felt the crowd won the game in new york i'm not sure if the nicks did the crowd was insane it it jumped through the television set and they go on to beat Atlanta and even the series. And the Knicks are completely limited.

I mean, the Knicks roster is a flea market. It's everybody else's secondhand stuff. I mean, it's vinyl records, it's old furniture, it's used clothing, it's incense. I mean, Nerlin's Noel. He's a sixer. No, he's a Nick. Alec Burke, he's going to be huge for the jazz. No, he's a Nick.

Derek Rose, Taj Gibson, aren't they Bulls, Alfred Payton, Orlando. magic Julius Randall. Lakers didn't want him. It's a flea market. It's everybody else's secondhand stuff. And that never, ever wins in the NBA big, ever. It's the opposite of what wins in the NBA. You want everybody else's stars. You don't want a flea market. And yet they're winning because of belief, the crowd, the momentum. What do the kids say? How it started, we're going to get Zion, KD, and Kyrie. How it ended. We have R.J. Barrett, Julius Randall, and Derek Rose. And it's winning. It's a four seed in the east.

I was thinking about it this morning. Why are the Knicks so easy to root for? If the NBA playoffs were just one big family dinner with all the teams in there, LeBron would be head of the table. He'd be the patriarch. You listen to LeBron. K.D. Kyrie Hardin in Brooklyn would be the weird cousins who may or may not show up. You're not sure. They made their money in cryptocurrency. They've got a lot of AMC stock. The Clippers are the family member that always shows up and promises, ooh, big things are coming in my career. I'm about to finally hit it. A lot of promises. And the Knicks, they're like grandpa. They talk about the old days, harmless, just so damn happy.

somebody invited him to the dinner. They're just likable. They tell stories about the good old days. Nobody's really threatened by the Knicks winning the title. Everybody likes Grandpa, right? And Grandpa's just happy that he got invited still. He has to hang around all the cool popular kids. The Knicks last night, people in New York were climbing on light posts.

They won a playoff game in the game. the first round at home to even a series. And I find the Knicks, you know, I just find it to be a great story. Remember we watched Michael Jordan in The Last Dance, and that was about greatness. The Knicks are the last chance, if there's a documentary. A bunch of these guys on the roster, they failed the first couple times. It's their last chance to do something special and cool in the NBA playoffs. Tage and Derek and Burke and Nerlands Noel and Julius Randall.

And there's just something easy to put your arms around. We all missed fans, and we knew it as we talked about this. If sports is better when it has juice, boy, Madison Square Garden is just the greatest example of the impact and the importance and the flavor that fans can give you. fantastic. These teams aren't going anywhere, by the way. They're going nowhere, but it doesn't matter. It's a really fun first-round playoff series. Okay.

You know, every Monday I do where Colin was right where Colin was wrong? It's about 5'1, 5 of the other. And this one, I thought I was going to have to wait, May, June, July, August, September, four and a half, five months. I had to wait five days. Urban Meyer, according to reports, might use Tim Tebow in a Taysam Hill-like quarterback role in the Wildcat packages.

That didn't take long, did it? The circus is in town five days in. When I said, be careful about Tebow, Trevor Lawrence going to have a bad October. Look at their schedule. and you all said, Colony's just a tight end. I said, it's very hard to prepare for delusion.

If you can't relate to something, it's hard to prepare for something. Like Black Friday at Walmart, you hear about it. I can't really relate to people staying overnight to get a mattress or a cool shirt. I can't really relate to that. I just go the next day and get it.

So you can't prepare for it if you're normal that you would literally stay overnight to get a phone or something or a television or something. And then you see it on television and there's fistfight and it's WWE and you're like, I don't really, how would you, you can't prepare for something you can't, you can't relate to. I can't relate to watching a quarterback that's awful and thinking he's Tom Brady. So I can't even relate to the Tebow stuff. The idea that he's going to be Taysam Hill. Yeah, Taysam Hill runs a 4-4. In August, Tebow is 34. Tebow has spent the last four years in the NFL like getting yards and winning games.

Tebow has not been in the NFL in eight years. They have nothing in common. I'm not even going to get into their stats. One complete 70% of his throws, 147. One is a passer rating in the 90s. one in the 70s, ah, I'll just be nice. But Trevor Lawrence,

he doesn't understand it. Because Trevor Lawrence was 13 when the Tebow delusional tour took place in Denver. He was only 13. So he's all on board on this stuff. Here's Trevor Lawrence. It looks great.

You can tell he's just a guy that you want to be around. Character is awesome. I just had a few conversations with them and I can already tell. And then just a hard worker. You know, no one's going to work harder than them. And those are the kind of guys you want in your locker room that you want to be around every day.

And then I'm excited to see what he does on the field as well. We've got a few days and he looks great. He's in awesome shape. Oh, Trevor Lawrence has no idea. You cannot prepare for something that you can't relate to. Tim Tebow, Champ Bailey made 12 Pro Bowls. Champ Bailey is one of the best top 10 corners in league history. Champ Bailey was great.

I know Champ a little bit. Champ Bailey came out yesterday and he said, oh, I was there with Tebow in Denver. He's infectious, but he's just not an NFL quarterback. He said, I've known a lot of guys like that. They've got all the qualities in the rate room and the leadership, but like they're not NFL quarterbacks. Tebow's not an NFL quarterback.

He's just not. but I think this is, I think this is, Jacksonville is never interesting. There have been moments in their history where they've been kind of good. The Blake Bortle's defense, that's kind of good, AFC championship game. Mark Brunel teams Jack Del Rio or Tom Coughlin was a coach. They're pretty good. They're pretty good. They've never, even when they were good, though, been captivating. I mean, did you buy a Jags jersey during the Mark Brunel run?

Were you there cheering for them to get to the Super Bowl or did you want the Steelers or Brady to get there? I will say this. The NFL, even their franchises that feel like two to three years away from moving to London are interesting. Tebow may be used it quarterback. But Trevor Lawrence, go look at that Jaguars October schedule. five straight winning teams, five straight Super Bowl contenders. They're probably going 0 and 5, and the chance will come raining down in a stadium that's two hours from where Tim Tebow was the most iconic college football player in the history of college football. All right.

So Alex Smith said something yesterday in our show that got a lot of play. And it's interesting. I thought a lot about what he said. and I've got kind of a different view of what he said. That and Tua is getting a little nervous in Miami. Talk about that next. So Alex Smith was on our show yesterday, 16-year NFL career.

And him and Aaron Rogers, there are some parallels. Remember, that was the draft that Aaron Rogers thought he was going to go higher. And Alex Smith went to the Niners, did go higher. You know, they played their college ball out west. They both had a few injuries. Aaron is more revered as a talent. Alex, though, has made three Pro Bowls he can play to. They got some similarity.

They actually look alike. The first thing I said to Alex Smith yesterday during the commercial break, I said, I always thought you looked a little like Aaron Rogers. God, in person, you look just like Aaron Rogers. So, but they're different personalities. One is more warm and inviting. One's a little pricklier. And we all treat people differently, right, based on, you know,

their personality. We all have friends you can tell anything to, even bad news. And then you have friends. If it's bad news, you'll just let them find out some other way. So it is interesting. There is this sense that have Green Bay given Aaron Rogers a heads up on Jordan Love, it had been all good. Now, should Green Bay communicate better? Absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely. Alex Smith yesterday when I asked him about Aaron and Grie Bay's tension said exactly what most of us feel. It's inexcusable. It's absolutely, I think. How they ever got to this point. I mean, Aaron's been there 16 years what he's given to that organization and been there. And for them, I think, to what happened last year during the draft. And I haven't talked to Aaron about this. I don't want to put words in his mouth. but clearly to watch the interview and him talk about it's about the people.

And it is. And Aaron's been there that long. And I don't think it was the fact that they drafted Jordan Love in the first round. I mean, I think of the fact that you just, how do you have a guy like Aaron and you don't go make sure beforehand you aren't going out of your way to make sure that he knows that he's loved, that they want him there? Now, I mostly agree. I think you should give Aaron the respect and the heads up. I agree with that. But I'm just going to throw something out there.

Because I'm America's honesty broker. I don't take sides. Aaron's personality is off-putting to a lot of people. His family has commented on him. Teammates, coaches. Is it possible sometimes people in Green Bay don't tell him every little thing and some big things? Aaron is often the victim in Green Bay a lot, right? This is like 10 years now, last three especially.

He's the victim a lot. Is it possible sometimes Aaron's not the victim? He creates some of this stuff. I mean, he's been in Green Bay 16 years. You and I know he's turned off coaches and players. We've seen them comment about it. Maybe they don't include him in every conversation. There are friends who you tell everything to.

And there are friends they can just find out some other way. Alex Smith, I asked Alex Smith, Did Kansas City tell you they were going to draft Patrick Mahomes? Here's what he said. 100%. That's something that was talked about throughout the draft process, not just by Coach Reed, everybody involved in the personnel apartment. And I'm talking multiple times.

Hey, this really might be something we're doing. Are you okay with it? This is going to be the situation. This is, I mean, you know, like, there were no surprises. I mean, it was absolutely laid out for me. And I think that all helps. You know, when that stuff's communicated, it does make a difference how you treat people. But that's how you would treat Alex Smith.

Alex is warm and friendly. Players love him. Coaches love him. He's an overachiever. He's not a mega talent. That is how you would treat somebody you think of his family. Aaron's not quite like that. Aaron can be prickly with his own family, with teammates, with coaches.

The Minnesota Vikings, Alex was treated in Kansas City like you'd treat a nice guy. The Minnesota Vikings, when they considered drafting Justin Fields, gave Kirk Cousins a heads-up. But Kirk Cousins is known as a nice guy. He's not a pushback guy. It's not a Cali Cool guy. All I'm saying is, anytime anybody becomes a victim over and over and over and over and over Aaron and Green Bay, there are sometimes I would suggest maybe you are creating a tainty weency bit of it. So, you know, Aaron may not.

He may be intimidating to people. he may be like off-putting to people. They don't include him on the text chains and the email chains. And they don't tell him some stuff. They just, let's just do it and deal with the fallout later. Because they don't want to be in a combative conversation. And they don't want to argue and have to defend their position. Now, I do think you need to tell Aaron when you're drafting Jordan Love.

I can think two things at once. My brain is big enough that I think Green Bay was. wrong there, but I do think how you treat Alex Smith or a Kirk Cousins, that's how you would treat a nice guy. That's how you would do it. A nice guy. Let's treat him like a, he's like family. Alex feels like family.

Aaron's kind of a one foot in, one foot out, didn't he? A little bit. Got a little KD to him. I mean, you want to put your arms around KD, but you're never quite sure where KD is going to be in two years. And I think Green Bay has felt that for years with Aaron Rohn. Roger. Joy with the news. Is the

Hurdline news. John Morant had a huge game last night. Joy, yo, yeah. scored a franchise playoff record 47 points for the Grizzlies. He was incredible, but despite that amazing performance, it wasn't enough to take a 2-0 series lead over the jazz.

Donovan Mitchell made his much-anticipated return from the ankle injury and had 25 points in the 141. 129 win, just a little bit of offense in this game. The series is now tied at one game apiece as it moves to Memphis. An incredible performance by John Morantz, who is just a star and so fun to watch. When you look at the box score from this game, I'm like, man, what a night for John to have this performance because everyone from the jazz contributed.

Like Royce O'Neill had 14 points, Bogdanovitch at 18 points, Gober had 21, points. Mike Connolly Jr. at 20 points. Son of Mitchell at 25 points. Joe Ingle's at 14 points. When you look at the box, we're like, oh my God, John Moran at 47 points, how did they possibly lose? Because everyone in the jazz was hitting. Well, the jazz are really about numbers. And we talked about this. So, in a year with condensed schedules, you can't practice as much. You don't look at film as much. Right. So the jazz bring back this deep roster. Sometimes this year,

you kind of had to roll the ball out and let the guys play. Utah is built for that. They're really deep. They have, you know, when you're playing 10 guys, you know, back-to-back games don't really matter. And so Utah to me is totally built for the regular season, especially in a year that has a condensed schedule. Their depth is huge. But in terms of star power, like when Donovan Mitchell didn't play, it's just an average roster. It's full of kind of mostly average guys.

So I think Utah's in for a series. I do think that depth over six or seven games. You know, John Morant is going to end up looking like Westbrook by the game six and seven where it's like how many shots he's going to have to totally carry this team. But I'll say this. John Morant is, I think he's like Westbrook plus. Oh, I mean, he's so efficient.

He's a true point guard. He plays with a lot of intensity, but it is controlled. Yeah, yeah, much more in control than Westbrook. He's very artistic. He's so fun to watch. I'm really glad that people around the country are getting to see him now and what he's capable of. Speaking of Westbrook, he left last night's game two loss against the Sixers

with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter. They lost, obviously, but that's not the story. As he was headed to the locker room, a fan dumped popcorn on him, and he had to be held back by security as to not confront the person. The fan was ejected shortly after, and Westbrook shared his frustration with some of the fans' behavior towards him after the game. To be blatantly honest, man, the s'm just getting out of hand, especially for me.

Just the amount of disrespect, the amount of just fans is doing whatever the they want to do. It's just out of pocket, man. There's certain things that cross the line. And any other setting, I know for a fact that fans, they want to come up. A guy wouldn't come on the street and pour popcorn on my head because he know what happened. I mean, it's the audacity and the disrespect for me. I don't blame Westbrook in this spot at all.

And he's obviously upset. He's leaving the game. He's frustrated and he's injured. And someone pours popcorn on his head. As he said, in any other setting on earth, if you poured popcorn on him, Westbrook could literally rip this guy's arms off his body. People get really, really comfortable these days. thinking and imagining that they are in this protective bubble

where they can say outlandish things and do ridiculous things because they're protected. Like this fan knows Westbrook's not going to be able to make it up into the stands to get to him. Airlines are, I just saw a story yesterday that airlines now are facing more unruly behavior. Sure, because goofy people don't want to wear masks on a plane because they think that the rules don't apply to them. And also, when people have been locked up for two years, like people can't handle themselves.

Like, people are now, like, for the first time in a year and a half, people are going to games, and there's always idiots, but like they've been cooped up idiots, and now they go to games. Like a behavior on airlines, you can almost go to the internet daily. Oh, yeah. And like a stewardess's teeth got knocked out. I've had friends who have flown recently who've had to have their flights delayed because people freak out because the flight attendant tells them that they have to wear a mask. Yeah, like America's behavior, it really,

retail stores at games. I want to know who raised you. That's what I want to know. Because this is the ultimate action of somebody who has never been disciplined properly. I'm sorry. There's no way on earth you think

someone, the size, the intensity, the strength of Russell Westbrook is a safe move to pour popcorn on his head. Unless you've truly never had consequences for anything in your life. I mean, could you ever bring yourself

to do that. I wish, here's what I wish, because you'd ban the fan for life. I wish they have been banned from the, they've been banned from the Wells Fargo Center indefinitely and their season tickets have been revoked. Why don't we take people who do stuff like this randomly, publicize them and publicize their

parents? No, I've thought about this before. Because you can't stop this stuff, right? It never... No, this has been going on for a very long time. But it's gotten worse and worse, and during the pandemic now, fans have been cooped up in their house, they go to games, they go to airlines, they can't handle it. There's a certain level of entitlement that people feel like, I can do what I want and what are you going to do to me?

And social media amplifies that because there's a level of anonymous nature of social media where you can say things and nobody's ever going to come find you and nobody knows where you are and you can make a fake account. I'm like, listen, you pour popcorn on my head. It's going to be a bad day for you and your whole family. I might fly my nephew up to beat up your son. I'm going to be unstoppable with the disrespect. It's nonsense. Anyway, the Wizards lost to the Sixers, 120, 95.

They go down 02 in the series. Don't pour popcorn on people. And there's a video now of a fan, like spitting on Trey Young last night. That's a salt. Technically the popcorn is a salt too, but spitting on someone is a salt. Listen.

One time, it's already happened, but like somebody's going to get touched and is going to put this all in perspective for someone, and it's going to be really unfortunate. So the Lakers are hosting their first playoff game at Staples Center since 2013 tonight. And LeBron is looking forward to what he believes will be a very important night for both the team and the fans. Us just coming home, you know, one-one, even out of the series.

And actually playing a real playoff game, as they would say, obviously, because it's the first round for the first time in about eight years. It's been pretty special for our fans. and just have our fans in the building. Yep. I want to continue to make them proud. And that's what I came here for to be able to play a playoff game in front of the Laker favorite. Really, really good one of the next night.

Mine is two and a half. I like the Lakers tonight. I think the Lakers win big tonight. Well, it's at 10 Eastern. You have Heat Bucks, then you have Lakers'Ans and Nuggets Blazers starts at 730, 1030 Eastern. But I think this is going to be a really,

really exciting game tonight. I mean, this series has, I think, been the best so far and being back in Stapel Center, and he's right. It's going to be an emotional night. Can't wait. Joy with the news. Well, that's the news. And thanks for stopping by.

You've got to get to one of these NBA games. I know they're great. So I felt bad yesterday. Matt Lafleur has asked about Aaron Rogers and he kind of goes word salad and talks about Jordan Love. And you just look into his eyes and he's, like, God, get me out of here. I don't want to talk about this stuff. Listen, it's, it's Matt LaFleur is right in the middle of this thing. I mean, what is he going through right now? This is the worst possible scenario because he doesn't

want to be disrespectful to his GM, but he's got to curry favor with Aaron Rogers. Well, he's in a tough spot for that. And, you know, Rogers said, I love Jordan Love. I've always love Jordan Love. I love my coaches. And I think everyone in that coaching room, whether it be LaFleur, Nathaniel Hackett, or any of the other offensive coaches, they all took a big sigh of relief, like, all right, it's not us. LaFleur knows. I've talked to LaFleur, so he's taking this job. Great players make great coaches.

And there is no one who lavishes more praise, both on record and off record than Matt LaFleur. He is in awe of how good Aaron Rogers is. But he's got to get Jordan Love Ready, because as Aaron Rogers is out in Hawaii playing a ukulele with Taylor Swift music, with Miles Teller and the gang, there's football to be played. and he will get Jordan Love ready. It's going to be an interesting offseason because I don't think Rogers is coming back anytime soon.

I think he might enjoy this off season very much into the off season. And the Packers have to pretend as if, hey, there might be a future without him week one. They've got the Saints. It's week one on Fox. It's our premier game. It's Troy. It's Aaron. It's Joe Buck, obviously.

And it might be Jordan Love under center. And he can't be unprepared. So this is the challenge that LaFleur has, wanting Rogers back, but also prepping Jordan love like, hey, it might be you, dude. We might need you to step up now. Yeah, no, I think you're right. So Julio Jones' name is out there. I'll just float something that makes sense.

Is that the Patriots have a corner, Stefan Gilmore, who, you know, Belichick likes to let go of a guy early, not a year, lady's expensive. Belichick also does a great job to draft and develop defensive backs. And I look at that and I think you move off Gilmore, you get Julio Jones in a division now where New England doesn't match up with Buffalo. Like, you're playing for a wild card spot it feels like. Why does New England feel like such a perfect fit for Julio Jones? Because of the Randy Moss experience we had in 2007, where it was like,

all right, here's a player, maybe at the end of his career or his best years are behind him. And let's get him and get the most of it for 60 cents on the dollar. Julio's amazing, Colin. Like, he still is amazing. He was tremendous two years ago. And when he was healthy last year, it was awesome. It's just he cost too much money for the Falcons. So they're going to look to trade.

I'll tell you this. Originally, I thought this was going to be the Rams who have been uber aggressive in the last few years or the Cardinals who have been over aggressive this off season. The fact that it hasn't happened yet, and I know that it can't officially happen until June 1st for either of those teams tells me they're both probably out. I would look at the AFC. I would look at the teams you mentioned with the New England Patriots,

but also the Tennessee Titans is a possibility. And I'll throw out the 49ers as just the possibility. I want it's always an arms race. And we haven't heard what San Francisco is up to necessarily. and they don't have any first round picks to give up, but I could see after years and years of maybe being in on Odell, not being in an Odell, maybe being in on Antonio Brown,

not being in on Antonio Brown, maybe this is Kyle Shanahan goes and gets his guy, who he coached in 2016. By the way, you've got a new podcast called Flying Coach. You and Sean McVeigh do it. He's got Matt Stafford. You're talking to Robert Sala last night. Matt Lefleur is going to be a guest this week.

Give me a little McVeigh on the Matt Stafford thing. So I just, I was looking at a depth charts because I have no life a couple days ago on the Rams and I feel very top heavy. They don't have, there are two or three injuries away from on that offensive line. Matt Stafford could be running for his life. But take me to Sean McVeigh right now. Do they change the offense? Is it mostly the same? How do they incorporate Stafford? What will the Rams look like this year offensively? All right. So, Kyle, on the podcast, he's co-hosting it with me. and it's not me interviewing him. He's a co-host fully, and it's on Spotify,

and I think everyone would enjoy it. I've known McVeigh for 10 years. He's on this thing, and we talk Stafford, and it's, yes, the arm strength and everything, but it's also what he calls, and I love it, it's a McVeasem, above the neck. Stafford can diagnose things at the line of scrimmage and see things that, like Aaron Rogers can,

or some of these veteran quarterbacks who've been in the league 10, 15 years, sees things, and can also be a coach on the field. What I would imagine, and I haven't heard this from Sean, because they've got a great running back, and they also drafted a guy, Jake Funk in the seventh round, who they like as a number two guy.

But I would imagine you're going to see a lot of four wide and you're going to see a lot of Stafford just slinging the ball. This is what McVeigh's always wanted to do. He's wanted to be able to have the quarterback come right up, have all these different options and be able to deal and be a coach on the field. I wouldn't be shocked if Stafford's throwing the ball way more than he did in Detroit, and they're throwing the ball way more than they did with the Rams the past few years.

By the way, Alex Smith was on our show yesterday. He was great. He was great. And he talked about it. He talked about how Kansas City, you know, gave him a heads up. Kirk Cousins was given a heads up on Justin Fields. And I said, listen, Green Bay obviously needs to communicate better. We all know that.

But I did say there are, we've all got friends, Shregs, that you can tell anything to. And then we have friends, they're good time friends, but you don't tell them bad news, how they'll react. Is it reasonable to think that in 16 years, of Aaron and his prickly, at times, condescending attitude, he is turned off some Packer people and they don't include him on the text chains and the email chains. They'd rather not be in an argument and that he has been a victim so many times of Green Bay in the last five years. Is it possible, Shregs?

A little bit of this victimhood is, hey, Aaron, people don't include you in stuff. They don't tell you everything because you're difficult and off-putting to some people. They have to make the effort. Whether they believe that, and I have not heard that, they have to make the effort. You have to at least try. Now, the question is, do they even have that relationship where in the off season they would text Rogers? Like, I know the coaches text with him than his players do, but like, does, does Goody even have the confidence in the relationship in what he has with Rogers to give him the heads up? And that's where I think the problem really is.

And I look at what Brady happened with Aaron. I had Brady on, we had Ariens on the NFL network. I said, did you give Brady the heads up? We were drafting Kyle Trask in the third round. He goes, heads up. I talk to Brady all the time. Of course, like Brady knew we were looking at quarterbacks. Yes, I told him.

I don't think Aaron Rogers, A, has that relationship with the Green Bay front office. I don't think he wants that relationship. I don't think he lets many people in. So as much as he's cool with Pat McAfee and as much as we see the videos of him being the everyday guy, I don't think he's texting and doing emojis with the front office. in Green Bay. I'm not sure he's looking for that relationship with those guys. Yeah, I mean, that's kind of how I feel with him. And he's kind of a one foot in,

one foot out guy. You know, it's funny because Kevin Durant always wanted to be treated like Steph. But Steph is different. He's a family guy. He came from a great family. He's created a great family. K.D. is a little like Aaron Rogers, where he's kind of I'm kind of here, but I'm not kind of here.

And it's like, we all want to be treated the same, but Brady's different than Aaron. And Aaron's different than Russ. And Russell's different than Kirk Cousins. So I'm not anti-Aaron on this. I do think Green Bay screwed up. But I think your point's really excellent, which is Aaron may not want the same relationship from Green Bay that Steph Curry wants from the Warriors, right?

So people can really think. I think I got to correct it. I think he does. I think he wants it with the coaches he bleeds for it, the players he bleeds for, the fans. He wants it all. I don't think over his 16 years necessarily Aaron Rogers is getting dinners with the front office guys. It just seems to be that's a dynamic that they have in that building.

And that went back to far of all. And that might be a different dynamic than what those other organizations have going on too. Good stuff, Shregs. Congratulations on the podcast. Don't pour popcorn on Russell Westbrook's head who could literally rip your head off of your body with his bare hands. And don't assault flight attendants. Just as a couple rules. Every day you wake up, write that on the mirror

He's made 28 trades. He is a deal maker. He is of the new brand of general managers in the NFL, the less needs. make deals, a lot of deals.

Howie Roseman. This is what GMs do now. They make deals. They didn't used to. Chris Greer, 28 months on the job, 28 trades. Everybody in the building knows. Chris will trade for you or trade you out of town without a blink. Tua has gotten a lot of bad press.

But he's never really felt a need to defend himself, right? in the last two to three days, Tua has come out and said two different things to the press. Number one is, oh, my hip feels ten times better. Okay, nobody asked, but thank you. And then he came out and admitted this yesterday. I wasn't comfortable calling plays. I think the guys that we had last year were phenomenal. know, I just didn't have, you know, the comfortability of kind of checking plays, alerting plays,

and doing that. I just rode with the play, even if I knew it in a way that it wasn't going to work. I was going to try to make it work, so. I didn't actually know the, like, the playbook necessarily really, really good. And that's on no one else's fault, you know, but my fault. By the way, first year playing in the NFL, two is saying what a lot of guys say, little over my ski is going to add, live my way out of this. What he said is not crazy. It's hard. Like they always say, your three light goes on.

I've gotten my hands on a few playbooks. It's deep. It's a phone book. But don't you think it's kind of interesting? Last two, three days, he's come out and announced, oh, my hip feels 10 times better. And, you know, I really didn't know the playbook. Now, why would that be? I want you to think about it for a few seconds if you're driving around on radio or watching.

What's happened in the last couple of days? Oh, Aaron Rogers didn't show up to OTAs. Chris Greer, the GM of the Dolphins is a dealmaker. Tua and Tua's camp are making sure they put some positive news out there. Hey, feels better? And he knows the playbook now. In the last two to three days when Aaron didn't show up, Many people around the NFL believe, as Peter Schrager just said,

oh, this is, Aaron's not coming back. They're going to have to start Jordan Love. There is a feeling around the NFL. Aaron and Green Bay, it's now a mess. And it's not going to be healed and solved. So what did GMs do that are aggressive? They get on the phone to Green Bay. And Chris Greer will make deals.

And Tua didn't look very good. And now he is selling Tua. Feel great. I know the playbook. Now, I don't think it's a coincidence. I think the minute Aaron didn't show up to OTAs, a lot of GMs in the league, the deal makers, got on the phone with Green Bay. Three first round picks.

I mean, you're looking at the division. I got to face Belichick. I got to face Josh Allen. A lot of big bodies, a lot of big arms. I'm just saying, Uncle Colin does not believe in coincidences or throwing popcorn on athletes or berating airline employees. Hour two next.
