Happy Fugazi Friday. And many people will consider the Dallas Cowboys a giant Fugazi, but they did win tonight and short week on the road. Your number one goal, no matter how bad it looks, and it didn't look great. They won 20 to 15. Now, granted Aubrey, who I got to talk about, I didn't quite realize the extent of his story, from soccer player to minor league football player to,

I don't know, Justin Tucker 2.0. But 20 to 15, get a win on the road. The Giants fall, they go two and two with a really, really hard schedule coming up. The Giants, meanwhile, 1 and 3. Malik neighbors, looks like you got a concussion fell in his head at the end of the game trying to catch the ball and look destined to not be very good.

Could not run the ball of the night against a bad Cowboys defense and just they just struggle to score touchdowns, right? If Malik neighbors ain't scoring touchdowns, he looks fantastic. Another really, really productive game. Looks like he's on pace. Hopefully he doesn't miss any time for a Puka Nakua type rookie season. I mean, he's a baller, but they don't have many other ballers. and just injuries in general.

It's just something that every day I look at a headline, I see these injury reports. It's just crazy. I don't have a solution, but it does feel, and I get this question a lot in the mailbag, worse than ever. I mean, there's just stars all around the league. I mean, it's not even October.

And this guy's constantly hurt. Yet all we've done is like, safety, and you can't hit anybody. No one Brax is like, are we sure this is working? And obviously Fugazi Friday, I did want to hit on something that I saw last week that I've actually been thinking about for a while when it comes to Zillow pictures. Maybe use Realtor.com or whatever website you, I'm a Zillow guy. But it really set in last week when I went on a little showing trip with my fiance

Now, big picture. And I'm a big believer in this on Thursday night games, especially if you are the road team. And you're a road team like Dallas. You're pretty heavily favored.

Thankfully for Aubrey missing a kick, which feels like he could make into sleep. The Giants covered. We gave that bad boy out on Thursday's pod. but if you win on Thursday night on the road, I don't care how it looks. Obviously, if you have devastating injuries, we'll find out the severity over the next, you know, 24 hours on Lawrence, on Micah Parsons, who, you know, not ideal by any means.

But a win's a win. And listen, this is the NFL, this is not college football. You're not going to beat teams. teams by 20 points. I have no problem getting ugly wins on Thursday night. And on the bright side, obviously DAC has looked good this season. C.D. Lamb is doing everything that you would want out of a guy that gets that much money. The amount of text messages I got tonight from 49er fans, it's like you're telling me,

Iuke holds in, and obviously IUC is not the player C.D. Lamb is. This guy holds out, shows up September 1st, and it's just, absolutely dominating. Like, yeah, that's what dominant players do. Like Justin Jefferson and him are basically the modern day, Randy Moss and Terrell Owens. Obviously, they got a long way to go to match those guys' careers, but they are dominant, dominant players.

And DAC and CD is like a special combination right now. But the main question on this cowboy team is, it was not going to be answered tonight. Because we said it coming into the game, it's like, you're not playing Derek Henry and Lamar Jackson. You're not playing Alvin Kamara in the Shanahan scheme. You're playing Singletary in the Giants offense, who did not rush for 30 yards tonight.

So you can give the Cowboys credit for handling the line of scrimmage, but I think you also be realistic. This was a good matchup for them. This was not a team that was going to run for 150 yards on them. And in turn, Daniel Jones, listen, if Trevor Lawrence just had the game Daniel Jones had, we would not be as critical as we've been with Trevor Lawrence. Like, Daniel Jones looks pretty good.

Honestly, if you just watch him and Dak, at least tonight, it doesn't feel like there's a big difference. Now, I do believe that Dak is a better thrower on the go route. Daniel Jones, that's somewhat of a bugaboo is, underthrowing just the route down the sideline, which he did the night. But in fairness to him, the dude dropped it. It hit him in the hands. There were a couple plays a night where it's like, yeah, not ideal ball placement, but this isn't high school football.

It's the NFL. You know, if you touch it, you got to clutch it. Like, if it hits your hands, even if you have to adjust, you got to make the play. But I do think the big picture question mark for the Cowboys is like the injuries, right? Diggs coming into and out of the game with cramps. Happens short week. Maybe you're dehydrated. Obviously, if Micah Parsons has to miss any time.

Lawrence has to miss any time. like how many defensive linemen can you lose? The running game for them is obviously going to be pretty average. They have an, I don't want to say an elite passing game, but they got a damn good passing game. Ferguson's an excellent player. I also have no problem with this. And while you're living through this,

and I'm on a text chain with some cowboy fans are like, God, 60 sucks. To me, part of drafting an offensive tackle high, and it's not like he's the third overall pick. You know, the Cowboys in the playoffs, you're drafting in the 20s, you kind of got to live through it early on. And ideally, this guy can become your left tackle for a decade. Now, we're a long way away from feeling comfortable doing that.

But part of drafting a guy and immediately inserting him at left tackle, that's a difficult proposition. It is going to be a hold on to your ass moment in some of these games. Part of the deal. It's no different with these rookie quarterbacks. for every game that we just saw out of Jaden Daniels, you're going to do some games where he throws a pick six and has a fumble. Like, it's part of the deal.

It's football in the NFL. Like, it happens to veteran players, but definitely rookies. So he's going to take a lot of crap. Like, listen, I commend them, starting the guy. Obviously, they don't have many other options. But, like, you got to live through it. And if you're a cowboy fan, you kind of keep your fingers crossed, that he can kind of figure it out.

but can the defense won health? We know Blan's out for a while and their line hold up against the better teams they play. Like when they play the 49ers, when they play the Texans and Bobby Sloick, when they play the Eagles, it will not be the same as facing Singletarian Brian Dayball calling plays. It just won't be.

So did we learn anything like that? Did they just fix their defense? I would say no. but I would just say this. Thursday night game, as a road team, you take the win, you get on the plane, you get out of there. And you just pray to God when you get some medical results over the next 12, 24 hours,

that it's nothing too crazy. But anytime you got Micah Parsons without a shoe going on a cart to the locker room, you know, it's a problem. Now, I didn't realize the extent of the kicker story. I knew that he was a soccer play.

but when I went on Wikipedia and looked up Brandon Aubrey, and again, you got to take it with a grain of salt because Wikipedia, though I get a lot of my information there, he obviously was a soccer player after college, and when he got released from some team I'd never heard of, and he was watching an NFL game and his wife looked at him and said, you could do that. This is after kickers are missing.

He starts training with a guy. A couple years later, he's in the U.S.L. and I understand he missed the last kick of the game, but I don't think it's really arguable. He's the best kicker in the league right now. There's no one from 50 plus that not only you feel is automatic, he's going to split the uprights. So, like, listen, people are hard on Jerry,

and you don't get that much credit because he plays a kicker if he was a pass rusher or a right tackle or something. That's a pretty incredible find to find a guy. I think they mentioned, or I saw it on Twitter, that he has more points in fantasy. than like every tight end in the NFL. So he's a very, very valuable player. And if you're going to be like, you just cross the 50, you're in his range.

So what a story, what a find to get the guy out of the NFL. I mean, it's cool for him. A soccer player just turned. If I was some of these other kids in soccer and I had no future to make the MLS or make some of these European leagues, I might start training. And you could tell, like, after he makes a field goal, he's not some five-foot-six kid. I mean, well, he's not even a kid. He's 29 years old.

He graduated from Notre Dame or at least left to play professional soccer in 2019. But he's interesting. But at the end of the day, listen, the Cowboys, I bet there's going to be a lot of negativity about them tomorrow, which I understand. But you just had to win this game. And more than likely, it wasn't going to be pretty. And it was not. They do not look as potent as they've looked in previous years. You just got to find a way till ideally you can get healthy maybe later in the season to kind of hover around 500.

And hopefully the Eagles fuck up a little bit along the way. I think Washington's a little smoke and mirrors because their defense is, I mean, you think the Cowboys defense is bad. That defense is way worse. So can you compete to win this division? If you can just hover around 500 and try to get to 10-11 wins, We'll find out a lot about the Eagles this weekend who have a bunch of injuries.

You know, Devante Smith had a concussion. Lane Johnson has a concussion. We'll see how many of these guys play against Tampa. We know how well Tampa played against them last year. Now, new coordinators, but still, like, if you're the Cowboys, you just got to find a way to just keep your head above water. Obviously, tonight was must win. You know, you couldn't fall to one and three.

Like, the Giants can fall to one and three. None of us thought they were any good. And I think the weird spot for them is, you know, Daniel Jones is kind of proving to be serviceable, and he's not their problem. I mean, their running game is just not going to be good. Like, listen, they made the financial decision to let Sequin go, but the drop off of him in Singletary when Joe Shane is in that meeting with the owner saying, you know, for this amount of money, I don't think there's a big difference.

No, there's a big difference. But you invest in other positions. Brian Burns made a couple of flash plays. But, man, I mean, I just think you're in for a long, long season. I mean, Malik Naver is clearly a special talent. He knocks himself out trying to catch the ball on the sideline. But it's just going to be a long year. It really is.

And we knew it coming in. And we know McCarthy's coaching for his job. I think you have to question the situation in New York, right? Like if the GM is quote unquote on the hot seat and this year doesn't go well, usually don't just fire the GM and keep the coach. and things can just get weird. And let's face it, they have been weird in New York for a long time. This team has not been good since I can remember.

I mean, they've started 0 and 2 10 of the last 12 years. Basically after they won the Super Bowl, beside the Miami Love Boat year where they got worked in Green Bay with Odo Beckham, I think that was 2016. They have mainly been pretty shitty. And post-Ely Manning, they have been a train wreck beside two years ago when he won coach of the year. Sometimes, hey, one coach in the year, were they 13, no, they went 9 and 8.

It was one of the greatest overachievement you'll ever see in the history of the NFL. Now, they do have some core players. Lawrence is good. Kavon looks, you know, solid. I don't know if he'll ever live up to being a top 10 pick, but he's a good player. You got Burns, you got Malik neighbors. You got left tackle who played pretty well tonight. But overall, this is a team going nowhere fast.

and unlike Dallas, there just aren't expectations. Besides maybe internally and with the owner who has shown kind of to have a quick trigger finger when it comes to keeping guys. That's why I keep talking about the situation in terms of their job status because the owner has proved it. You know, he ran through coaches and GMs at pretty, at a rapid speed after having a long tenure with Tom Coughlin. you know, from McAdo to Shermer to Joe Judge to now these guys who, I mean, what would you say? Five wins, you know? I mean, it's just hard to keep your job. Like five wins now in the NFL with 17 games, that's a brutal year, man.

And when we have back-to-back situations where last year you're drafting six, then again you're drafting, let's just hypothetically say fourth. Because the thing, they're not bad enough to have the number one overall pick. And I think the question mark is, you know, how many quarterbacks? And it's hard because there's so much college football season left to play. Obviously, there's a quarterback inflation. But I think there's kind of, you have to wonder if there's going to be a reverse of that after seeing all these quarterbacks get drafted and a lot of them not living up to the hype.

Are you better off just taking Malik neighbors and taking high-end players and maybe taking a guy in like the second or third round? It's not usually what the fans want, but when you take a guy really high, you see it with Daniel Jones, and he, you know, I mean, been a total roller coaster of a career,

but it kind of teases you, and then you get stuck, and you get into a weird spot. So I don't know, man. It's going to be a long, long season for the old gigantes. One big picture thing in the NFL that is just, obviously it's a violent sport, and people have always got injured playing the game.

But it now feels early on in the season that we've never had more injuries. I mean, it's a consistent theme, I would say, these last couple years. That by the time we're getting into week four, week five, like half the teams in the league are missing most of their good players. And we've done a good job as a sport. And I say we, because listen, I love football, of protecting or attempting to protect the quarterback. and I'm as guilty as anyone.

I get pissed off at it because some of them are like, that's not a, of, you know, let that go. You don't need to throw a flag. But we cannot function without those guys. But I do think when you look at the taking away double days in training camp, nobody plays in the preseason. Unlike previous generations, these guys do spend a lot of money on their body and training 24-7, 365.

And you have to wonder if that catches up. up to them because they almost get so big and so strong, but they don't play that much football. Because in training camp, you're not tackling to the ground. And honestly, I would say relative to previous generations, it is not very conducive to practicing physical football. None of them play in preseason games, basically. And if they do, beside like Andy Reed Squad, it's for a series or two max. And then you immediately just start the games. which are just full go, full eyes, everyone flying around. Guys getting hit, guys falling funny.

And you have to wonder if there's some sort of, in boxing you spar for a reason. Like you build up the calluses, right? You can go to the driving range until you can't grip a golf club. It doesn't mean anything for your golf game once you play an actual round. It's no different in all these sports. You can play pickup basketball games. You can take simulated BP. obviously the games are so much different.

And there's nothing like football where in a practice, when you're not going to tackle anybody, it is not the actual sport, even if you are wearing full pads. And you just see these guys constantly get injured and not make it even into October. I'm not acting like we need to go back to Junction Boy style and have seven weeks of double days. But I think we all can acknowledge, starting with the league office and who was terrified to get sued for CTE stuff, that the change in the rules, which the players fought for, which the players fought for, right? The owners wanted more money. They wanted less practice and more days off. Has not been conducive to their health. And they are constantly getting injured more.

And then if you're the owners, because of the money the league is making, you're never paying these players more money at all these positions minus quarterback. And then you go to the the games and half of them are always in street clothes. So how's that good for you? It's not, it feels like it's a lose, lose for everyone, including us, the fans that just want to watch the best players play. And like I said, it's football, guys have always gotten injured, it's a part of the game, but it feels on a weekly basis when you just turn on the TV on a Sunday or look at the internet on a Friday at the end of a practice week. It's like half the teams on the injury report, being questionable or doubtful.

It did not feel like that. I mean, just go to some of the best players, the Pro Bowl guys in the 80s and 90s, and look at how many games they played over the course of their career. Most of them aren't missing that much time. Now, the counter argument could be look at how long their careers were.

They were a lot shorter. So I would imagine if I was a player and I had an injury, I would be less likely to push it because if I can get that third, contract. I mean, we bank another $60, $80, $100 million. So I just know that the, we're just out of whack here. And I don't think we're going back because they're not going to add more physical practices, coaching staffs and definitely front offices are not going to change their

mindset on this. But I think we're losing being us, people that watch the sport, the teams are losing, sucks for the players that can't play in the games. It's just a shitty deal all around. And I'll get you out of here on this. I do think one of the biggest Fugazi is going, and it really hit me last week. My fiance Maria has this client. She's actually never met him in person. She got linked up with him. A rich guy from Southern California who wants to move here for tax purposes by the start of 2025. And he's been looking in these high-end neighborhoods. And he was looking in this place that I wanted to check out because it's like this private kind of, it's not even a golf course. There's seven golf courses.

And each golf course has its own like five-star restaurant. And basically people that live in this community never have to leave. Because once you're a member, if you want to be a social member, it's like $150,000. If you want to be a golf member, it's $250,000. And the wait list to be a golf member is almost 24 months. and I had heard about it and she was she was looking at a house there for him to take some pictures. I'm like, I'll come.

So I'm checking out the Zillow and it's like $2 million house. That's on the lower end of this community. And the pictures on Zillow just made this thing look like, God, this thing's a steal. And then you get there and the pictures on Zillow, and I'm pro Zillow. Owned the stock. It's been good for me.

I'm about 35%. But they look nothing like Zillow. The house I'm sitting in right now, I remember before we bought it, we'd been monitoring it. I'm like, how is the price dropping on this thing? Look at these pictures. And I remember coming over here for the first time when we looked at it. And I was like, oh, that's why the price keeps dropping.

The house looks nothing like the pictures. Now, granted, we gutted the whole thing, but that's why it needed, it was a full gut job. And I think one of the biggest Fugazis is when you look at Zillow and you look at these pictures, to me, it's like Instagram filter. or a dating app filter. Anyone that's ever used dating app, you're like, gosh, she's kind of a babe. And then you get there, you're like, oh, damn. I was duped.

And that's what it kind of feels like right now. Now, I get it. I would do the same thing. I guess I've done similar, but I could only do so much in the last piece of property. I sold it was a condo. But I feel like pretty universally that the pictures are the dating apps of houses.

It's a complete fool job. Now, ultimately, most people, I guess back in 2020 and 2021, a lot of people around the country were buying home site unseen. I would say that's definitely a little different now with interest rates being higher. Obviously, prices at an all-time high. So people are probably a little more hesitant to not physically be at a place if they don't live in the area. But I'd be very, very careful because I think these Zillow pictures, I don't care what the price point is. The price point could be, you know, $500,000 or anything. could be millions of dollars is a complete curveball.

You walk into that thing, you're amped to see it, and then you're like, wait, this was the picture of the backyard, this thing? What? So keep an eye on those zillopics. It's not looking pretty three or four holes in, but, you know, we got a long week. I don't know if you saw I hit a pretty big, I wouldn't call it a Hail Mary, but a nice little touchdown parlay on the doubleheader on Monday night football. When Jamar Chase scored touchdown number two, we celebrated in my living room as I'm eating dinner. She's like, what are you doing? I'm like, I just won nine grand. on that fucking touchdown. So feeling good, got momentum. How are you doing?

I'm doing well. I almost had a, I had a bunch of free bets on my wife's accounts. And I went to my first ever Kentucky game against Georgia. I never have time to go to the games. Like Saturday, there's all these other college football games on. So I've never gone to a game. My father and all was like season tickets.

It's like up in sweets. There's like food. It's really nice. Went there. There wasn't a lot of other good games on at the time. So I was like, I can get away to go. I used a bunch of free bets on Kentucky Money Line,

just to Hail Mary against Georgia. What a ride. Yeah, so close. I can't believe Stoops funded. So I wasn't quite as fortunate as you there. But the international team, that's very, very. Unpatriot.

Just value. Yeah, well, I got them almost like three to one. These tournaments, you know, the American guys now are so rich. They don't care. There's more on the line now that they obviously have the better team. But I just put a couple hundred bucks. Needed a reason to pay attention just on the side, especially Thursday and Friday during the day. It's just, it's good television product to have in the back.

So I need a little action. But who's the, like the, I can't say out of time to follow. golf right now. Who's the like Belcal, the international team? Well, see, you know, yeah, the difference of the Ryder Cup, which is Europe, this is basically Europe's not involved. So it's like South America, Asia, and Australia. The Australia is pretty good.

They got Adam Scott, Jason Day, Minwoo Lee. But, yeah, we're, we're, I'm an international guy this week. So we'll see how that goes. But let's, uh, let's play a little game today. And I thought we'd play a little face. or follow because I actually am feeling pretty good about Saturday. And I want to, I think I know where you're leaning on so far, I would say the game of the year. And I, you know, coming into the season before even, you know, in the, in the off season, this is probably, what would you say?

Bama, Georgia, just on paper a top two or three game of the regular season, if not number one. Yeah. You know, I mean, so. Especially now Michigan's not like, they don't look great. Exactly. So Michigan, Ohio State, which has been that, we'd remove that. Texas, Oklahoma, if Oklahoma's a little down, maybe if Tennessee, Georgia play, could play into that. Oh, Miss Georgia, too. So, yeah. As it right now, yeah, this is a top three game in the year. So let's just dive into that. My initial take is this on fader follow. Kaelin Dubour, when he has had an equal team or slightly better in his career, and he's been an underdog.

which obviously hasn't happened a lot over the last, I don't know, definitely the last two years. He's not only played well, he's won. I mean, in that conference championship game against Oregon, in a neutral site, which I would say leans Oregon, he kicked their ass. And was the number, do you remember the number of Washington, Texas? Was it like Washington plus four? Yeah, four and a half. That was my favorite bet. One of them I've ever made in my life.

Obviously, it was closer at the end than it should have been. then there was a moment I think they fumbled a punt or something. It could have been a 20-point game at one point in time. In this game, and Kirby said this, that the rosters because of NIL and Transfer Portal, are definitely not as deep as, let's say, that 21 national championship team, right?

There's just pros everywhere. Now, these teams are still loaded relative to the rest of the country, but the sweet Sabin teams, sweet Kirby teams are not as good. So it's fair to say that the talent on these teams are pretty equal. Now, replacing Sabin's, not easy, but listen, he wins this game. I don't even think it'd be

arguable that Kalin-Dubor is immediately a top two or three coach in the country, right? You could argue even if he just goes toe-to-to-to-to-with-em. But I think taking them and the points at home, I don't think taking them money line's crazy. Again, it's not like I feel 100% confident they're going to win. I just really like, I know Bama's got maybe not equal team, but it's like, what, 95%? Their quarterbacks, you know, I'd say change the narrative on where I think most people thought he was going.

And I just loved their head coach. So I just think the head coach, which it was easy to fall off when you replace Sabin, what if there's not really that much of a fall off in the program when it comes to the coaching? So I think getting Bama plus points at home in a game where this Georgia team, to me, is just not as good as they have been. You just saw them live. I mean, they're just, what about offense? Obviously, the running backs are good, but are they potent outside? I think the quarterback's a little overrated.

Maybe I'm just overreacting that Kentucky game, but I don't know. I'm going Bama here. I'm fading. So I'm going fader. I will also say, I mean, I can't fault you for back and aboard divorce. Dvor has been against the spread monster wherever he's been.

At whatever level and whatever position he's coaching, his teams have been just cover monsters. I will say, I'm so, I've been watching this line because I want to bet Georgia, and I'm going to bet Georgia. I'm just waiting to see, like, is it going to drop and get a cheaper price? Is it going to go to three? It's really just been holding steady.

Open to pick last week and at a prominent book, Georgia got hit immediately, went out to like two, two and a half. And then it's kind of just sitting there. If you do like Alabama, you might as well wait, see if a three pops. I imagine it would get bought quickly, but there's no harm. I shouldn't say no harm. But there's not as much harm in waiting. and if, you know, it comes down to two. You know, it's not like it's a key number.

But I actually like Georgia in this matchup. I'll say for a few reasons. One, Kirby, DeBoer is a great coach. I'll give them that. I expect Alabama to be prepared here. They're off a by just like Georgia. But Kirby is, no one is better in the sport right now at motivating his team. And the best thing that happened to Georgia was a close game against Kentucky.

And they're also trying to avenge the SEC championship loss last year, which kept them out of the college football playoff, arguably kept them from winning a national title. Jayla Milro came out and said that Georgia quit. They made Georgia quit in that game. I mean, so Kirby Smart in this spot, and against ranked teams, I think Kirby Smart's 31 and 13 against the spread. I just dominant in this spot, dominant against ranked teams. He can find things out of thin air. to motivate his team in these spots off a poor showing. And they've had these like one-off poor showings every single year,

the last four years on the road. A lot of times against Kentucky, they're just lower scoring games. That game, Kentucky was just embarrassed the week before against South Carolina. Kentucky has pros on their defense. That's their Super Bowl. Yeah, you knew they were going to come out. So also Georgia is going to be healthier, wide receiver. They're going to get maybe the number one overall pick back in Michael Williams,

who was out last game. They're going to get Brinson back, their best in interior pass rusher. He was out last game. They've been out since the opener. They got hurt against Clemson. People are forgetting the Clemson game. I mean, they destroyed Clemson. Clemson since looks like a juggernaw. That's the best data point that either of these teams have. And Kentucky's a top 20 defense. Clemson, Kentucky and Clemson are top 20 defenses. Who was Alabama played? I mean, and if you look, if you dig a little deeper, you know, they played South Florida. South Florida played them toe to toe.

in Tuscaloosa until the end. It was a five-point game with, I think, seven minutes to go in the game. Alabama added, I think, three touchdowns late in the game. But toe-to-to-to. And South Florida missed some wide-open guys down the field, wide open, four or five of them. Western Kentucky horrendous this year. And their quarterback, who's since not the starter anymore, he missed some wide-open guys. Then you go up and play Wisconsin, and their quarterback gets hurt on the first drive.

and you're down to a kid who can't throw it at all. The secondary is extremely vulnerable. You got a kid, a transfer from USC who's just decent, Damani Jackson. And then you got a bunch of raw freshmen who aren't experienced. There's been their safeties are good, but the corners are extremely vulnerable. There's been wide open guys.

You won't see it in the advanced stats. The teams that they played haven't been able to connect. I think Carson Beck, and these Georgia receivers, they're not as good. and they do miss Bowers Delp, Oscar Delp the tight end was supposed to take a big step. Eurasek, the Stranford transfer,

he was supposed to help, but their tight end room's been very underwhelming. But their receivers, they still have talent on the outside, not as talented. They lost, kid kicked off the team. You know, they've had some injuries, but they have enough town here and with that,

and a really good offensive line. That's, and that is one of the differences in this game is that the Georgia offensive line is very good, and they've already gone up against two, you know, top 15 defensive lines in the country, maybe top 10. Alabama's offensive line has problems. And that's going to be a problem against Georgia, who has pros on their defensive line, will be healthy this week. Alabama did get Proctor back at left tackle. That helps them there, it sure's up that spot. That was a, I mean, South Florida was dominating the trenches in that game, which is very concerning. You do get your left

tackle. You got them back against Wisconsin. That helps with the other positions. it's troubling. So I think Georgia can take advantage. What's going to happen here is I think that Georgia's offensive line is more equipped to handle the Alabama front seven, which is very good just like Georgia's than Alabama is. That's going to give back enough time to take advantage of these Alabama corners. And then I think the Georgia defensive line is going to be able to create enough negative plays against Nillow.

And look, they're going to have a great game plan here. They're going to take away the explosive pass. They're going to force Milro to throw in the intermediary range. They're going to try to take away his legs. They're going to tweak some things that they did. I think they made a couple mistakes last year in the game plan against Alabama and the SEC championship. But I expect them to have a just tremendous game plan here to defend Milro.

What is he best at running and deep balls? You got to take away both of those. And I just, Kirby and this spot, it's just a smash spot. He has all the motivation in the world. Georgia's usually over the past four years, they're not usually going into a spot where they have the psychological edge, right? Like usually they're the favorite. Yeah. And teams have to like, every other team is building themselves up and they're supposed to win here.

It's like your two-point underdog on the road against Alabama. You lost them the S&C championship. They said you quit. Your last outing wasn't that great. Pervia has everything he needs to work with here. So I think it'll be a good one. But I think the Fama offensive line. and Bama Corners.

That's the two weakest areas in this game. And I think Georgia will exploit both and ultimately win. One more college game that jumped out is, I wasn't planning on watching much of this game last week, but it was hard not to kind of fall into it. Obviously, the ending was insane in Boulder. I don't know where you stand on this guy, but Pat Shermer has to be one of, if not the worst, offensive coordinators right now in Pro or College. I mean, he's running four or five wide when his offensive line can't block a soul.

and thank God, Shador is an athlete and can fucking scramble for his life. But it's like, bro, just run a couple easy routes. Protect them a little bit. You've got athletes everywhere. But plus 14, I understand long travel. You know, UCF, I'm sure you got some stats. Obviously, he's a good running team. But that seems like a lot of points.

We've talked about this before with Colorado. They can just score. Now, who knows, coming off an emotional win like that, are they a little flat? But that number jumped out to me. and I think I'm going to put some money on plus 14. I've no feel on it. I will say I think it's I want to. I don't think Central Florida is any good.

They barely beat TCU's terrible. Yeah, the biggest weakness on UCF is their secondary. They have their starting safety's been hurt. They have East Tennessee State, a UAB, and another lower level transfer that are playing in their secondary. You know, they have one decent corner. but their secondary is very vulnerable. Hoover is a good quarterback. TCU has good weapons,

but they threw all over them and UCF had to come back. So that's the path here for Colorado. Colorado is not going to get any stops. I'm against KJ. Jefferson. The UCF backfield is tremendous. You want to watch a really good back. RJ Harvey,

one of the best in the country for UCF, and their depth, Richardson and Penny Boone, Toledo transfer. They have backs for days. Jefferson can run, and then they'll hit you over the top. They have some good receivers to it. It's hard for me to see Colorado getting many stops here So like what I how I end up how I see this playing out is UCF is going to be able to just

Get have so many third and manageables like everything's going to be easy for them And then UCF has a bad secondary so Colorado doesn't be able to throw in them a bit But they have a UCF has a good front and you know they have some other powerful transfers But they have a really good defensive line they're going to be able to create some negative plays Like Chadori it does the offensive line is not good And so he's going to be under fire. And then sometimes he just holds the ball too long. So there's going to be some negative plays that are going to probably kill too many drives of Colorado.

It is a bad spot for Colorado. Like they come off a miracle win on a Hail Mary, then in overtime. You got to travel. UCS off by. You're going to the bounce house. One of the toughest places to play in college football. It's going to be 90% humidity. It's going to be 90 degrees.

It's tough. All the, so all the. Yeah, you talk me out of it. I'm UCF. I will say if you want to bet it like live or because the one thing working, I don't like fading Colorado when they're a big dog and they've been really good as underdogs because they will they will throw it with Chador until the very end. So they've backdoored a number of these games like or like,

but you go back to last year they were down like 24, 28 and they'll come back and lose by like 10, 14 a lot. So they could get the back door so easy. easily here. Like UCF's up 21, 24 late, then they're going to start to go conservative. Gus does keep his foot on the gas sometimes in these spots, which could hurt you. But Colorado, you know, if they get down, like if UCF gets the ball, goes right down the field and then that number gets juiced up live, you can look at Colorado then or at the half, or the second half, if they're down, like two touchdowns, because they're not going to stop throwing and they're not going to stop. Deion just doesn't pack it in if they're down, no matter how much they're down,

The LA Rams and Sean McVeigh had a moment on Sunday against an epic meltdown by Kyle, the defense, the special teams, and Ronnie Bell's inability to kick. catch. And they're going on the road to Chicago. They're an underdog. Obviously, it's not like Puka and Cooper are walking back through that door.

So they are still undermanned in terms of their weapons. This thing's pretty simple to me. Chicago looks like one of the poorest coach teams in the league. I just saw a headline before we jumped on that D'Andre Swift probably getting benched. He has not been good for them. Their offensive line's been horrendous. You know, Caleb, like most young players besides Jaden Daniels, been up and down. but I just think the logic I'm taking to this is quarterback advantage of Rams.

Coach, clearly advantage Rams. Now, I get emotional win like that. You come down a little bit, kind of a sleepy 10 a.m. start. You know, you're traveling not quite across the country, but pretty far if you're L.A. But I'm just, I'm hammering the Rams in this one. I got, I look this morning, plus three on draft kinks. You fade and are following that. I'm neutral, so neither fate or fall.

I can tell you that there's, the line was two and a half. There was some really sharp money on the Bears. At three, there's sharp money on the Rams. I was looking at the Bears this week. Just this Rams team is so hurt. You got to go back to, like they got, they were dominated by the 49ers, most of that game. And they just had a miraculous comeback late. Even, you know, in a trailing state and Stafford racked up all those yards.

Like, they still got out gained by like 120 yards of one and a half yards per. play and San Frimm was without like four starter four key starters on offense um the defense is really bad and injured the offensive line is not good and injured they don't have Niccoa they don't have cup think about two weeks ago when when they went to Arizona this mash unit and they got destroyed by the Cardinals so I was looking to get the bears here at a cheap price At three, I can't do it. I will say the best, the unit that I trust the most is probably the Bears defense. Bears defense have been good.

Their defensive lines actually been really good, even outside of sweat. But you nailed the key point, which would scares me off, which I would never lay three because of the coaching mismatch. This is the biggest coaching mismatch of the weekend. And, I mean, you saw McVeigh last week. It didn't have his weapons. He went two tight ends. Too tight and heavy.

He never did that in the past. And it worked and it enabled them to steal that game. It's going to be a theme for the Bears a lot this year. We'll see if Caleb starts to improve, but they're in a division with some of the best staffs in the NFL. The floor is an outstanding coach. You have O'Connell and Flores, one of the best coach defensive coordinator tandems in the NFL.

And then you have Detroit. Dan Campbell's been all he does is cover. You have one of the best offensive coordinators in the NFL as well. And the Bears staff is just very underwhelming. It's tough in that division and in this particular matchup. So

yeah, taking a fuel goal against the rookie quarterback against this struggling offense that can't really run the ball. And like that's what you can do against his Rams team. And the Bears just haven't been able to do it to even to help out Caleb at all. So taking the three, just knowing that you have the much

better coach. I don't hate it, but I'm not personally following. You know, I wanted to dive into Saints Atlanta, but I don't, I'm not confident in taking the Saints as a dog. The Atlanta makes me nervous, so I stayed away from that. I know everyone, they're 0 and 3 like the Titans and the Jags, but the Bengals definitely showed way more life the other night. Their defense was atrocious. I mean, they can't cover me or you. Their head coach does refuse to stick with the run just to slow down the game a little bit when his defense can't

stop anybody. So it's like, yeah, you can score fast, but you're behind right now and you can't stop anybody. So Zach Taylor, I think from a passing standpoint is like one of the highest in the league in terms of percentage of attempts, which in theory makes sense. He's got Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase. Now Higgins is back. But in terms of the way his defense was playing that individual game, probably needs to change. Now, is Andy Dalton going to look like Joe Monta again? Probably not. I mean, that to me feels, I'm sure you got stats on this, interim head coach, backup quarterback, which we talked about last week. You like them in certain spots, especially that first game. Obviously, if this team is going to survive this year and have a chance

of the playoffs, you're not going to start 0 and 4. We're going to look up and you're going to be 9 and 8. So this is must-win territory at Carolina. Feels a little bit like a lot of points for a team that's 0-3, but I'm hammering the angles here four and a half favor follow i'll follow that that's the that's the side i lean i feeling got feeling got hurt last week too right he's out yeah the feeling is out it's kind of like the security blanket i mean the off the penthouse is much better i mean brice young was unplayable unplayable and so dalton brings some juice to that offense feelings lost the ellen's lost does hurt they also lost their starting safety the defense is bad it's like ever is a good carolina's

Yeah, Carolina. They have, well, since these two, we'll get to that in a sec. But Carolina can't stop anyone. They lost their best offensive linemen. They're now down on a safety, corners on aisle. They don't have much. So they're just trying to prevent explosive plays. They can't stop the run.

It's the worst run in the NFL. They can't stop any passive, like efficient passing attacks. Like Barrow is going to card them up and they can't get any pressure. There's a team that gets, like they have like three pressures on the year. So I don't know how they get any stops in this game. I just don't see it. So on the other end, since he's biggest problem right now,

and we'll see who plays is they don't have a defensive line. They lost Reader in the offseason. They were without like five guys last week on the defensive line, and Washington was able to just run it, run it, run it, and then set up easy passes. Carolina can't really run it. They also might have an offensive line injury at guard, which is actually big,

because their offensive line has been one of the most improved units in the NFL this year. they signed two really good guards, move corporate to center, and they're like number one in interior run blocking. It's one of the reasons I like them this year. But if their guard Lewis is out, they go to this kid's Zavala, who's NC State kid was unplayable. Last year he was as bad as you could ever be as a guard.

But Calais is not really a great running team, right? They're not going to really take advantage of the Bengals in that aspect. So at the end of the day, since he should be able, to get a few more stops, and I just don't see how this Panthers team stops the Bengals at all, especially with Higgins back now. That Carolina team that we saw last week with Andy Dalton was the team you were gambling on the first two weeks. That's what you were looking for.

Yep. I did bet on them again, so I got some of my money back, but definitely net negative. Against the Raiders, you're saying? On the Panthers, yeah. I took the seven as soon as I got to announce that Dalton was out. I was done with them. I wrote them off. I can't play.

Young's not going to improve. I thought he would at least not get worse than he did. So, yeah, I won't be betting the Panthers this week. I mean, it has to be one of the great statistical changes week to week in the history of the league for what they were getting out of Bryce to what they got in that one game at Andy Dalton. I mean, you have three touchdowns in the first half. Three touchdowns of the first half. The Panthers had, Bryce Young had two touchdowns.

in his previous four games combined. And he had three in the first half. Dalton also is the only quarterback this season to throw for 300 yards and three touchdown passes in a game. And he was sitting behind Bryce Young. So, yeah, they, I mean, the Panthers had scored like 20 total points in their previous four games combined. They hadn't had a lead in 10 games, right?

Never left in the fourth quarter once in their pre-year. 20 games once and they go out there and win by margin. So, yeah, definitely one of the wilder results of last week. Okay, this game is pretty fun on paper. Jaden obviously was pretty incredible the other night and Arizona's fun watch. My logic on this is pretty simple. Regardless where this game was being played, both these defenses are pretty atrocious. both these offenses should be able to move the ball pretty easily,

and if these quarterbacks are playing well, it could be a lot of points scored. When I looked and saw Washington plus three and a half, I would do the same if Arizona was at Washington, they were getting three and a half. Whoever's getting over a field goal in this matchup is just assuming both the quarterbacks are healthy is an auto hammer for me.

Fade or follow? I'm going to semi-fade. I want a bad Arizona here, but I can't lay three and a half. So I agree with your logic there. I need a cheaper price. So I'm hoping. There's a big difference to me,

three and a half and like two and a half. I wouldn't be as confident. You're giving me overfield goal. Could be points galore. It also could be classic letdown spot. Everyone's on their knees slurping Washington. All of a sudden, you know, they're down 17-0 and halftime.

Could happen. I'm prepared for that. Historically, teams in this spot have not fared well. you pull off an upset as a touchdown plus underdog short week across the country, across time zones for your second straight road game. It's not a great spot. It's not a great matchup. Washington's second, I mean, Washington, both these defenses are bad.

Washington's defense is worse. I mean, it's bad, bad. Lost in that game is that since he also didn't punt. It's the first game in 85 years where there was no punts or turnovers. the you know but what washington does is they don't they can't cover anyone they play a ton of zone kailer murray destroy zones destroys you want to play man against kailer and then he can struggle a bit so it's a good matchup for arizona i think it's a good spot you know if they didn't if washington doesn't pull off that upset this line is like five um so i'm i just wanted

to come down enough to a field goal or below where i'd play it, but your logic is fine to me and taking the three and a half with Washington, but it's just not a great matchup, not a great spot. And I don't think that this, look, the Arizona defense has actually been a little feister than I thought it would be this year. They, I mean, look, the brands were so banged up, but they still kept the McVeigh offense completely in check. Last year, last week, they shut out the lions in the second half. And they have a really good run game, really good offensive line. So they're really, run,

D's actually been like little below league average. That's about it. So they might be able to hang here. That's what you have to do against Washington. You have to sit on the run game. It's like a horizontal air rate attack that's based on the run. Both these quarterbacks are going to use their legs. I just think Arizona can,

in this spot, can get maybe one or two more stops, but I can't like three and a half. I need the field goal or less. But I don't hate your logic. If John Harbaugh retired tomorrow and DeKos, announced that he was they were both available and hiring the combination of Zach Taylor and his brother Press Taylor what would be your reaction?

I'd have to go shopping for a new hat. I mean, how terrible. I mean, do you think I get asked about Zach Taylor a lot? You know, he seemed like a nice guy. You know, obviously had some big moments in his career, but it does feel like, you know, little over his head now that the talent is. a little more neutralized. They've lost some guys on defense.

Clearly, one underrated part about him, right, was defensively they were pretty loaded a couple years ago. They were pretty good on defense. And obviously, they were healthy and young on offense. Now, their defense is clearly nowhere near the same. Obviously, some unlucky injuries, but even their secondary losing, you know, Bates, who's a fucking stud. I mean, I think we've almost learned how good he is, not just early this season, but last year.

Like, he's one of the better D.Bs in the league, corner or safety. so that's a massive loss. But it does feel like it's like, is he going to get fired at the end of the year? If they go seven wins? It's possible. It's not been pretty for the Taylor Tree

to start the year. Unless you're Taylor Swift and then you're a chiefs fan. You get all the calls. But the Zach Taylor Tree, you have Zach, who are the own three teams this year? The Bengals, coached by Zach Taylor, the Titans,

coached by his offensive coordinator the past five years, and the Jaguars. His brother is the offensive coordinator. I would take Brian Callahan the unknown out of all three of them, I think. Yeah. Especially if his dad comes with him. Yeah. I mean, that's just been Levis.

Like, what else are you going to do? Yeah. That's not his fault. He inherited that guy. Yeah, it was funny because I was looking at, I was digging into this Kentucky Ole Miss game this weekend. And then the last time those two teams played, I went back. I was watching some of it. It was in 2020.

I was watching that game. In the top 10. Levis had like two or three fumbles in the fourth quarter that just cost them the game. And I was like, wow, this looks familiar. But yeah, it's possible. I mean, you can't waste Burrow right now. So this is the, and if you lose that, the Panthers now, go to O and 4. Oh, they'd be done.

The chatter is just going to go. You just have a whole year, a whole season of like, get this guy out of here and the season's over. Like at 0 and 4, you're done. Like 0.3, you're close to done. Like one of the last 129 teams since 2000 has made the playoffs that started 0.3. But you have one extra team in the playoffs now. You have an extra game. they do have a last place schedule.

You're not completely dead. The Packers last year were one in five, two and five. And they were like a play away from going. I know they were like three and six, or was that the Rams? No, that was the Packers. They were all four. Two and five, I think three and six.

And they were like a couple of plays away from the NFC championship game. So they're not completely dead, but it was this game. You're dead. And then you've lost in the first four weeks to the Panthers. the Patriots and the commanders. Like, that's, you're the benefit of finishing last last year. You get your last play schedule. Of your first four games, you get the face, the Panthers, the commanders, and the Patriots,

and you lose all three. But before we get into your favorite bed of the week, which I don't blame you, I think I'm with you, there is a game that kind of jumped out to me that I don't really know what to do, but it's pretty interesting. You know, Indy showed some life last week. Now, granted, they were playing the Bears, but they definitely played way harder. Their quarterback is a massive roller coaster ride.

This spot at home for Tomlin as a favorite, like, if you just play the odds, right, if you go three and one in every essentially quarter of the year, you end up with 12 wins. So if the Steelers just were to maintain, they'd be a 12-win team, which I didn't expect to happen. So obviously, you start 3-0, you're in fucking great position. You win this game, I mean, you start 4-0. It's pretty difficult to not, like, minimum, when you have a lot of talent, like they do,

be like an 11-win team, right? Is it just going to be that simple? Are we going to look up, and the Steelers? You're just going to be, like, 8-2? I mean, it could happen. They'd be completely fraudulent. But a couple of... You like the Colts in this?

the spot? A little bit. I got to see who plays for them. Um, like their defense is so banged up and their defense is already bad. Like, and their best player Buckner's on IR, Quidipay might not play. Ebukom, their other starting D-N is on IR. Their other best player, Kenny Moore, their nickel, he might not play. Their best corner, Juju Brent is on IR. Your, your guy, Womack, that Toledo kid was on the 49ers roster, I think. He's like their best top. He's their top corner right now, their number one corner. They got them, if no one left on that defense.

So now, if you have a bad defense and no one left, this is like an offense that you want to face. You're not playing the bills here. Yeah, it's not a great offense. And I do think Inde should be able to run here against Pittsburgh. Like,

they played last year, last December, even without Jonathan Taylor, and Minchue was playing. They won 30 to 13. They ran for like 170 yards. And if you look at Pittsburgh, There was a year, what was it, 2000, man, I want to say, yeah, it was 2020.

It was the COVID year. Pittsburgh started 10 and 0, 11 and oh. It was so fraudulent. Everyone was hurt against them. They would win every close game. It was a year the Browns beat them in the playoff game. Yeah, the Browns rolled them in the playoffs. They dropped like five in a row to end the year and then got destroyed in the playoffs.

So, yeah, I mean, if you look at what this team's done for, they beat Atlanta. in the opener, it was Kirk Cousins' first game back from injury, didn't play in the preseason quarterbacks in that. And they ran the most predictable offense. They were, they were literally teleghing what they were doing. In pistol, they were running it, and shotgun they were passing, and he never went under center. They didn't use any play action. I don't know what Atlanta was doing that week. I think it was just because Cousins was first coming back. So that win, you got to put a little asterisk next to it. Then you played Bo Nix and his like second start. And then you played the Chargers last week's 10-10.

Quarterback gets hurt. And both tackles. So, and then they won from there. So they've been extremely fortunate. Now, Fields has played better. He's madnessed the game. He's not making mistakes. They're relying on the run. They're not really running it well, but their defense is really good.

They don't have high Smith. They lost High Smith to injury, which hurts a bit. But this is like the first. The Broncos can't really run it. I don't know. Atlanta wasn't really, I don't know what they were doing. And the Chargers had the injuries to their quarterback and tackles. So, yeah, the problem is just, Richard says,

is so inaccurate. So like this probably comes down to does he hit like does he hit a few explosive plays? Like he's going to chuck the ball down the field. Does he connect on a couple? That's probably all you need to win this game. Like 17 points, 20 points.

I don't mean, unless the whole, I mean, the whole Colts deep could be out and they're already bad. So maybe the Steelers can score here. But there's a lot of good teaser options. Like if you want to tease the Colts up over a touchdown, with like the jets down to minus one and a half. I like that.

I'm going to be playing that myself. I would lean the Colts, but I just got to see who plays on that defense. Like, I can't have, I can't have their secondary be, uh, Dallas Flowers and Womack.

Like I know that the Steelers don't throw it, but that's as bad as I've ever seen. Okay, Sunday night football. This, this game's sweet. Uh, Bill's at the Ravens.

Uh, you know, The Ravens get their mojo back a little bit, run the ball right down the Cowboys throat. That Raiders game really hurts right now. I mean, this would be prime spot, but losing that Raiders game, I mean, still makes this kind of must win for the Ravens, right? I mean, this is a little bit gravy for the Bills, but I think the argument is like, who are the Bills beat? A Dolphins team that I'm sorry, even if Tuel was playing was coming back to Earth this year. Obviously, the Jags fucking suck.

and they opened up against Arizona who's probably not going to be above 500. So, you know, eventually now I think the bills, I think their next three games are the Ravens, the Texans, and the Jets. Yeah. So you could argue that in that three game stretch for them that, you know, kind of view themselves as a number one seed type team, you'd have to go two and one in those spots.

Pretty sure they're all three road games, right? Yeah. So, I mean, this is a tough little spot for the bills. So you could say, well, it's more important for the Ravens to win it. But when you look at their schedule, you're like, well, you probably want to, if you were going to pick two or three to win, you'd want to beat the Ravens. You want to beat the Jets, right? That is the way I would view it. But you definitely would, if you're going to win two of the three games, you would circle the Jets would be definitely one.

And then maybe you could make an argument for either two because you can see either two in the playoffs. But I don't know, it's a big spot for the Ravens. The bills look good. So what say you? Yeah. This is my favorite bet of the weekend, the Ravens. Anything under three, I played some money line. I have a Ravens hat on.

I'm a Ravens fan, but they have over 20 years. They have been my most profitable team betting on or against. Like, if you know your team better than anybody, if you're willing to bet against them, you can have success, like a lot of success, betting. You know the injuries, you know the impact. odds makers are setting lines for every single game. Like if you can get over like the bias of,

you know, your self biases that you have, because most people don't want to bet against their team, right? So most people are just betting on their team and don't want to fade them. What do you do when you put a lot of money on the Niners? You get them at six and a half and they're up 14-0 and then it feels like they're going to win by 25

and then they, you blow it. You want to kill everybody? Double whammy. Team loses and you lose your bet. Yeah, that's, it's tough.

No, but you're right. I mean, you just know the spots. Yeah. No, in the Ravens, all they do is blow leads. But there's a ton of things I like about this. I don't even know where to start. One, so the narrative on the Ravens blowing leads, they have in the past, and their secondary has been an issue. This year they have done that again, but it's been penalties.

It's been the main driver. I mean, you know, I was watching that Cowboys game. Some of the penalties that were called the roughing the past, there's the PIs. I couldn't even see him. The Raiders game, there's a third and 17 PI in the end zone that, you know, Everyone is like, what is that call? You know, all the TV wrestler, I gave it. It was an Asinon call.

It changed the whole game. There was a number of other penalties in that game that just let the Raiders come back. On the season, they're negative. They're net negative 17 penalties and 210 yards. Harbaugh came out this week. Wow. Did it in a professional way, said, like, you know, we got to be, we got to clean some of the penalties up. But also, we're going to send some stuff to the league for them to look at.

and give us some feedback. Don't be surprised. It's just natural regression, but if the Ravens also get some calls this week. Matchup-wise, the- So you think legitimately they've been getting screwed a little bit, like outrageously on something of the calls. And that discrepancy is an outlier, to say the least.

From a match-up perspective, the bills are extremely vulnerable in the middle of their defense in an intermediary range. their safeties are bad. They don't have any linebackers left. They lost Bernard, their green dot. They lost already lost Milano. They've played teams that haven't been able to capitalize.

Arizona moved the ball and then scored. I mean, Arizona covered a game in Buffalo. The dolphins, you know, they lost two, they refused to throw over the middle of the field. They don't have a tight end. And then the Jags don't have Evan Ingram, which was a huge loss. And then Lawrence was just lost the entire game.

And that blowout win, by the way, against, like they beat two goes down for the Dolphins. They beat the Cardinals at home. And then they beat the Jags. The Jags play nothing but man coverage. They're the highest rate in the league by far. They're running like 60, 70% of time. I thought that they would change it up this game because they had no corners left, none.

And they lost their Savage didn't play in the slot. Their best corner is already on IR. They're Jerry and Jones, the rookie, and he gets hurt on the first play of the game. They called up a kid on the practice squad. to come in and play corner. They were playing man the whole game. You do not play man against Josh Allen, especially if you have bad corners.

Because number one, you're not covering it. Number two, he just runs it on you whenever he wants. You've got to play zone. Ravens will play a ton of zone here. This will be the best defense by a magnitude so big. It's hard to explain that the bills of face this year.

Having a good middle lineback or two, whenever you need to spy, the quarterback helps a lot. Yeah. And their defensive coordinator was, the Ravens new defensive coordinator was on the staff last year under McDonald also on the staff

was Anthony Weaver is now in Miami sure they've talked get a little more Intel because the bills are the Miami played Buffalo but the Ravens are built to attack over the middle of the field and the bills run Dey hasn't been great

Ravens should be able to run it here and they can attack over the middle field Lamar's been great in the intermediary range they have two really good tight ends and this is just attack attack attack attack Bill's play too high, zone. McDermott is a Jim Johnson guy, very zone heavy. Once to prevent the explosive play,

Lamar's best defenses that he faces, if you look at all of his advanced metrics, against two high and against zone. You can't zone Lamar. You want to play man against him, similar to Kyler. And this is also a smash Lamar's spot. Like, Lamar is, he's kind of like Mahomes. when he's an underdog or a favorite of a field go or less,

he's 24 and 7 against the spread. Smash hardball spot. It's like kind of close to a must win, one and two, at home in prime time, playing an undefeated team. I've seen this story a million times against old Patriots teams against Chiefs teams. It's just the game the Ravens find a way to win generally. Not saying the bills can't win. I just think this spread should be three, and I like the Ravens here.

And I think it's a really good matchup. on the defensive side of the ball, they're going to play zone. Their secondary can match up with who the bills have out there. And yeah, look, the Ravens are a blown PI call. And just the perception right now is off because the bills have been blowing out everybody. And by the way, short week for the bills now going on the road. They played Monday night. Teams off of wins of 35 plus if you're into trends,

41% historically against the spread because usually, get a who wants to who wants to fade the team that just won by 40 right they look so good it's usually can get a little bit of value fading them the next week short week here i only have i have one main concern is that the ravens had four got four their starting offensive lineman on the injury report yesterday i'm like waiting on updates right now um i think they're all going to play like they've all finished the game against alice so i think that they were just held out more as a rest day i mean they did get injury designations but obviously if they're missing like two or three offensive lineman, that would be bad.

But the Ravens are built to attack where the bills are hurt right now and where they're weak at safety. Lamar is great against zone and two-eye. So like this is a really good matchup on both sides of the ball. Buffalo wants to be like a run first offense. Ravens have been the best run day in the NFL this year. So I really like the matchup. Tucker looks washed. I think he's just fathered time is undefeated.

Hopefully he doesn't miss. miss some kicks. He says, him and Harbaugh said that they found there was a technique issue that they fixed. So we'll see. But this, he hasn't been good from distance in a while. You could see the signs last year from 50 plus. So, but missing like the 47 yard, I was shocked. I was like, there's a Ravens haven't been spoiled at the kicker position. Now it seems like everyone else and no one else misses kicks. Now I'm, I'm the guy who has to watch a kicker that misses kicks. That is weird. It's like watching an old golfer.

It's like, what is wrong with Phil Mickelson? And it just goes. And it's just never the same. Happened to Vinotary, didn't it? I mean, he just fell off a cliff. Yeah, Venetary, I mean, couldn't even rely on him to make an extra point. So it's sad. Tucker's been one of my favorite players.

But I like the spot. I like the match up on both sides of the ball. I think this is the peak of the bill's market. You're hearing like, and rightfully said the bills have been great. But you're hearing Josh Allen lock MVP. you're hearing bills are winning the Super Bowl. Bills are the best team in the NFL. These are usually signs that this is when you want to fade them.

And I like the matchup. As long as their ratings offensive line is healthy. One of my biggest questions coming into the year, they did put it together last week. They finally just went with five guys. They've been like rotating guys. I know the Cowboys Rundee is weak, but I did expect improvement as the year went on.

So as long as they're healthy, I think the rating should be able to move it and then throw over that intermediary middle of the field. No one has tried to attack that against Buffalo. though, yeah. And you got to play zone against Josh Allen, which the Ravens will do here. So there's a lot of things I like about this matchup, end the spot. So, yeah, the Ravens, if the Ravens were three and no, which they easily could be. They don't call that PI on Devante Adams. The Ravens don't shank a punt. They don't get

like 12 penalties in that game. Or the Cowboys don't get a bunch of penalties. The Cowboys are down 286 in that game in the fourth quarter. The game was a blowout. Like they dominated Dallas in Dallas. And there are a toe. What if Likeley's toes in, uh, in, in, then they win at Kansas City. And this team is sitting 3-0 with wins at Kansas City and Dallas. They're a three and a half point favorite here. So, yeah, I like the Ravens.

Before I get you out of here, you know, Monday night, we got another doubleheader, Miami, Tennessee. You could easily just not televise that game. But the Seattle Lions game is pretty good. The number that jumped out to me is like, minus three and three. a half. It feels like if you told me what's the line on this before the season, I would have guessed like five and a half, six. I got, I like the lions in this spot. I know Seattle's been feisty. Obviously, their coach is solid, but on the road, place is going to be going bananas. Gino. I feel like I like the lions in this game, like 2515 or something. I bet we're against each other a lot. One of us

is going to have a good weekend this weekend. I bet the Seahawks, but I bet I'm at four and a half. I now here's the argument that will do you think Seattle's good I do um I'm just a huge McDonald guy I saw what he did and when I obviously they're good they're three and oh but I mean like is this real like to me Minnesota to me is real is Seattle real I mean we're going to find out the next couple weeks because they play the lions and nine or so yeah they I mean I have I bet them over with a win total um which was what like eight and a half no it was uh seven and a half surprising. That's pretty good.

So, and I actually got some seven too. But, I mean, the argument against Seattle is they played Boe-Nix in his first ever start, the Patriots,

and whatever the dolphins. The dolphins were down this, I had Tim Boyle somehow. Tim Boyle was in the game. I don't know how Tim Boyle keeps getting work. I think I, I didn't have the sound on. Yeah, we were.

You brought him up in relation to Malik Willis, like getting random guys to start. I didn't have the sound on in that game, Seattle, Miami. Did Skyther get bench or he get injured? He got hurt. He had like, I think he like a punctured lung maybe or something. Yeah, I saw him lying there. I couldn't tell if they just like, he could have gone back and they just took him out.

Both of his tackles went down. He was just getting pummel. They suck. I thought Tyreek might just run out of the stadium. Just run on. It was embarrassing. So, yeah, but I mean, the Seattle defense is under McDonald's going to be good every week. There's something wrong with the Lions offense, and I can't put my finger on it.

Gough has been bad, and the play calling just isn't as good, and they have a really good offensive quarter. I don't know what's wrong with their offense. I mean, they weren't even great against the, like, the Rams defense is not good at all these injuries. and like they needed overtime to beat them at home, beat the Rams at home. I know Stafford was in his bag that night, but just the offensive performance wasn't great for the lines there. And they don't score in the second half against Arizona.

And there arguably should have been a pick six that Arizona got taken off the board, saved from the two-minute board. So there's something wrong with Detroit's offense. And now they lost their star center, one of the best centers in the league is not going to play. and Frank Ragnall. Laporte is banged up. Yeah, Laporte is banged up too.

If Ragnow was playing, I would be concerned. I got to get the Seahawks injury report because Murphy and Leonard Williams got hurt last week. So like, does Detroit just line up and run it on them? So I want to, like Seattle has some defensive line injuries worth monitoring. But McDonald, when he played golf last year, he turned him into an absolute pumpkin, which golf can do in certain games. but when the Ravens played the Lions last year. Didn't they win that game like 40 to nothing or something?

It was 35 to nothing at the half. I think they won 386. And it was a massacre. I remember watching that Sunday morning. That was one of my favorite bets of last year. I think the Ravens were only like the Lions came into that game. That was a classic hardball spot. The Lions, I think, were 5 and 0 or 5 and 1.

And the Ravens somehow, they were only minus 2 and a half at home against the Lions. so we're getting all this love. There's one of those raven spots a year. I think that this is the one against the bills this week. But yeah, I mean, the line secondary is still not figured out. They got more talented, but they're still having issues. And do you know it's been good? They have good receivers.

We'll see if they're offensive line. They'll see if their offense of line can hold up. Like they've gotten to play the Dolphins, the Broncos, the Patriots. Can Hutchinson wreck havoc on this game? he's been great. But I mean, then, I mean, Hutchinson's really good. I mean, look, the Lions only scoring 16 points

against the bucks who are down like. It's weird. So their offense is not right now. I don't know exactly what it is. The Lions also lost Davenport on the other side of Hutchinson. That's not immaterial. One of the teams like their other edge rusher.

So, yeah, I just, I took the four and a half. I like this McDonald versus golf match. If the Lions' offense just isn't right. right now. And I think Gino can have success if it's always lying in a lot. Like there's been injuries there. They haven't really been tested. Um, so yeah, that, that's kind of the wild card for me. The defensive line injuries for Seattle. It's not a bet I made a big bet. Uh, they concern me. And then you're always going to have Dan Campbell fourth down variance as it goes for you or not. Leonard Williams and Murphy B. I mean, when those guys are healthy and going, I mean, I don't

think we talk about Leonard Williams at all, but that has been a pretty incredible move for them. He's been good. People don't talk about. He's been really good. And obviously, Murphy, you know, could have been a top 10 pick somehow fell to them at whatever, 16 or 17. Yeah, they're, both of those guys. If Leonard Williams played for the Cowboys or the Niners or the Rams or something, he would be talked about a lot. Yeah.

It's, it's, uh, it's weird because Williams and Dexter Lawrence played in New York. And they don't, I don't, I feel like in the New York market. And they don't get talked enough about nationally. I mean, Dexter Lawrence is dominant. And, yeah, but the Seattle defensive line in recent years has been bad. Atrocious. So, like, getting Williams and drafting Murphy, I think was a good first step for the staff that I really like. I've also just liked the offense under Ryan Grubb, who I really like, who we were talking about the Alabama game.

he was supposed to be at Alabama with De Boer. And McDonald poached. So, but DeBoer talked about a really sharp guy who was with Grubb.

McDonald, really sharp guy, one of them, pretty good signals there that he knows what he's doing. Yeah. Grubbs is done. I mean,

grubs, grubs big time. Well, Stucky, I think we're not quite on the same page on a lot of things. That band,

Georgia game is a nice little precursor to the NFL weekend though because that's going to feel that fucking place is going to be going nuts. Big spot for my guy DeBoer and your guy Kirby.
