Guys, we're back.
Back with three rounds.
Guys, you know it's been a while since we've done this.
But, man, to hell with it.
I want to do it.
It's something that I've always liked to do.
It's one of my favorite concepts.
It's something that it seemed like you guys would happen into.
I appreciate that as always.
But shit, let's go back.
Let's get back to three rounds.
Let's get back to the fight.
I don't get the fight.
So I need to be able to experience the Russia going through these topics,
going through my three-fight training camp,
three-topic training camps,
and then bringing you guys my thoughts,
my ideas, something weekly that we can do every single week, no matter what's going on.
I wanted to get back to it.
And so why not?
And training camp's been good.
They've been working.
I've been on topics from doing podcasts to doing podcasts and calling fights and doing all these things.
So I've been training.
I've been training.
I'm ready to go.
So it's time to get to the fight.
Round one.
Oh, yeah.
I'm experienced.
Donald Cowboy Soroni says that he wants to fight again.
He said on Instagram that he wants to fight two more times
so that then he has 50 fights under the Zoufa banner.
He told everybody that follows him.
I want to go back.
I want to get two more fights.
When I retired, I told you I was going to get my hair done,
which he has, and I was going to get on steroids.
The number 50 in ZUFA has always been sitting on my mind for a while,
so I've been working with Transcend for the last two years.
I've been taking TRT and a bunch of peptides.
Now we have a protocol for all you people that say,
oh, wait, if you get on this, you can't ever come off of it.
He goes, now I have to come off.
I've got a piss clean, fight in a few months.
So watch this.
This is Donald Cowboy Seroni.
The one thing about Cowboys
has been very refreshing to watch
how open he's been with all of this.
He never lied.
He never lied about what he was doing,
what he was going to do,
and how he was going to apply it to his life.
And I'm all for a guy that has personal goals.
And I love Cowboy.
A while back, guys, we weren't always this good.
But today, we're great.
We're great.
I saw Donald and he,
was just so much better. But at the end of the day, for years now, he's been openly using steroids.
And when I saw him, he told me I should do it because he said he's never felt better.
He seemed happier. He had more energy. It seemed to me that Donald was doing great.
And now I find out that outside of the movies, because remember you guys who are the movies,
was doing all these things.
He was really starting to build his portfolio outside of mixed martial arts.
But during all that, he's been training.
And when you're training, you start to feel better.
He start to feel like yourself again, especially with the help.
And you go, I want to fight again.
But at the end of the day, Cowboys have been doing steroids openly, openly,
openly abusing steroids to make himself feel like he feels right now.
The way he feels right now makes him want to fight again.
Now, I like Donald now, but it doesn't matter what I feel about him as a person, as a buddy,
or whatever it is our relationship is today.
I don't quite know what it is, but he's not been clean.
And even if he can't come back, take tests, pass those tests, for him to get back,
he had to do all those things.
He had to do all those enhancers to allow for him to feel like he could compete at that level again.
So he would test clean.
But isn't that just a loophole?
Isn't it just a loophole like the guys that when they get hurt,
they get out of the testing pool,
they recover from the injury,
then they reenter the testing pool?
It's not wrong.
It's not illegal,
but is it right?
Because you truly have been enhanced
to get to where you are and how you feel
and I mean feel good enough to come back and fight
in the elite competition and fighting,
in the elite organization of UFC.
That's, to me, doesn't feel right.
So I was speaking to my buddy Jamil, right, he's an Olympian.
I asked him, what do you feel about it?
And he told me this.
He goes, it's like the rule that Oregon used against Ohio State.
This is a football analogy.
He goes, it's not the rule.
rulebook. It's not in the
rule book, but was it fair
play? So, for the ones
of you that don't know, there was like 30
seconds left in the game, Oregon put 12
in on the field knowing that they were going to
get a penalty. But the clock
continues to run. Ohio
State doesn't realize
that it continues
to run. 10 to 12 seconds go
off because they were just standing around as if
it wouldn't have happened
they don't win the game.
They don't won the game. They just
it around there not knowing, they would have won the game. Remember also, Cowboy lost,
I mean, six fights, had won no contest and seven fights. The last time before Jim Miller,
he got submitted. Imagine if he come back when he looks like a world beater. I'm against it.
I'm honestly against it. I'm honestly against the idea that you could find a loophole,
go and use that loophole, feel better while using that.
loophole, come back and fight
because you can pass
a clean test. I like Donald
Cowboy Soroni. I'm against Donald
Cowboy Soroni getting to compete
in the UFC after openly doing
what he's been doing for the last
two and a half years.
Let me know in the comments what you guys
feel. That was a tough round one.
Round two.
Ilya Tepore and Max Holloway are scheduled
to square off next week in Abu Dhabi.
Look, for my money, this is the best fight that we have on the UFC fight card.
I'm talking about competitiveness.
I'm talking about the bad blood.
I'm talking about the feelings toward each other in regards to what they think they've accomplished.
I think it has it all.
I truly believe that this fight has it all.
Now, the champion Ilyate Tupoy was on Ariel Hwani show yesterday,
and he said this, oh, wait up, before I get going.
Hats off to my boy, Ariel.
He launched uncrowned, something that, honestly,
he's been speaking about for years.
He wanted to do this thing that was his own,
and now he's gotten it,
and he's doing this daily show,
and it's amazing to see the success that he's gotten.
Congrats, Ariel,
on finally getting what you wanted for so long.
But yesterday, he's speaking to Ilya to Piottoe.
Ilya goes, I don't give a expletive about the belt, to be honest.
He calls himself the BMF, so we already know who the world champion is.
And in the first seconds of this fight at UFC 308, we're going to find out who the real BMF is
because I already challenged him in the first 10 seconds of the fight to point to the ground
and we'll see what he's going to do.
He goes on the state.
I'll be in the middle of the octagon trying to give the fans
the best start to a UFC fight in history.
When you hear this as a fight fan,
it gets you all jittery, and you go,
okay, these dudes are about to get down,
these dudes are about to get down.
But, guys, this is clearly a ploy by Ilya
Teporia. It's a ploy.
This is a ploy.
And when you dig a little deeper into it,
he's flat out challenging Max Holloway.
and challenging Max Holloway in a way
that you and I know
as friends of Max, of fans of Max,
that he probably cannot resist
the urge
to go out there and just go, I'm going to smash this dude.
But at the end of the day, it's a ploy
by Ilya Tuporian.
Because isn't Max the guy
that's supposed to fight in this fight
smart and maintain range?
Because it seems pretty common
knowledge that if Max Holloway stands in front of Iliate Tepore, he puts himself in danger.
But I'm saying, I want you to do with me what you did to Justin Gachi.
He's challenging him in a way that Max Holloway may not, or at least Ili is hoping Max Holloway,
isn't able to resist the urge to say, okay, I'm Hawaiian, I'm a fighter, I'm a dog, just like
you're a dog, let's do it.
Let's do it.
it's smart by Tepore you.
So while he might seem like he's emotional because Ilya cusses a lot,
Ilya gets mad, he knows what he's doing.
He's the guy that knocked out Alexander Volcanozky in the last fight.
When he traps you, he puts you down.
He hurts people.
He can hurt anybody, even Max Holloway.
So by telling him, I'm doing this.
I'm going to do this.
Let's see if this man is willing to,
fight me like he does, everybody else, in the middle of the octagon in the first 10 seconds.
Why is that important?
Because in the first 10 seconds, that dude is fresh.
Ilya can knock you out in the fifth round.
Imagine if you can get your hands on you in the start of the first round.
That's smart by Elliott Tuporian, because that's how you challenge a guy like Max Holloway,
who is a BML, who loves the idea that he's the man and he's willing to this.
If Max Holloway didn't love that, he would have never started.
doing this. He's been doing it for years. But isn't the thought on this fight that if
Ilius to win, he's going to knock him out? Because we haven't seen nobody outwork Max Holloway over
25 minutes. We haven't. So isn't Iliu is supposed to knock him out? By challenging him in that way,
you give yourself that chance. If Max Holloway stands on the quarter and says, okay, I'm with it.
So I spoke to Max on Sunday
And he was on his way to Abu Dhabi
Getting ready for the fight
Uh
He said he's not annoyed with Toporia
He said, but he wants to go and get the job done
The one thing I do want to tell Max Holloway, though
Stop stealing my shit, man
Stop stealing my stuff
This dude was out there talking about I want the easiest
Fight in the division. Come on, Max.
That's your boys work
Guys, to me, this is by far the best fight that we have on the docket.
I know there are great ones coming up.
But this one is the best one for all the reasons I told you before.
But who's going to play the game smarter?
Is Max going to take debate?
I guess we find out in like a week.
All right, guys, so it's October.
And the weather's starting to cool.
And nothing's better than grabbing your favorite date.
and going to do something fun, you put your little jacket on,
your whole hands, you walk, maybe drink a coffee.
And when you're going to do those things,
why not do it using the GameTime app?

first purchase. Hey, this is the best time of the year to go and do something fun. Why not save money
while doing it? Let's go. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.

survived it, including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill, waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack. I'm down to talk about crack on day,
but just so y'all know. I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've
discussed crack, so I'm starting to see that there's a through line. We also have AIDS on the table
right now, so... Thank you for finishing that sentence.
Yes. I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.

And we're still chasing it.
And we don't know when we've done enough.
Because people scoreboard watch.
Life becomes about wins and losses.
Steve Burns, Dustin Ross, because you find it important to be a good person while you hear on earth.

Because that's two different intentions, bro.
Absolutely.
And that's two different levels of trust.
I want you to just really be a good person.

Round three, guys,
I hate with a body shot that wrong.
You know I don't like body shots.
That Max Holloway round,
I got hurt against the side of the octon,
but I'm a champion.
I keep fighting.
I got off the stool for this round.
I'm not giving up on y'all.
Dana White seems to be given up on the rankings panel.
He said, I just cannot handle incompetence.
Talking after the contendent series last night,
I can't take it anymore.
It drives me crazy.
I can't let the people that I don't believe know
what the equity they're doing
deal with the rankings anymore.
Can't do it.
I have to figure out a solution.
He said that today.
right because last night he said that i have a meeting with a group of people who are coming to me
and saying they have a solution for the problem god i hope they are right because i'm going to change it
the media will no longer control the rankings in the ufc he goes on to saying i can't do it internally
i can't do it hunter can't do it shan can't do it mick can't do it he said it's unfair
He said, we have biases.
There are fighters I love.
There are fighters I do not like.
I will not put my guys in that position.
I do not want to put myself in that position.
So we will outsource this, find someone to do it for us,
and hopefully somebody that will do it much better
than what has been done before.
But he wants to get changed,
and he hopes that that change is for the better.
You know, Rankin's is a very funny,
thing because outside of knowing that Alex Pereira is the champion because he's beating everyone,
it's all subjective. One guy beats one guy, one guy beats the other guy, one guy beats the other guy.
But some of the mistakes that are made in rankings shouldn't happen at this level.
Problem is to get to where we are today, you had to invite people in who we're.
aren't necessarily people who cover the sport on the ground level.
So it's not like you're getting all the best reporters in the MMA to rank this.
That's what they do in football.
But they also have other people that are involved.
But it's not like you get a general sports media person or a general news reporter,
sports reporter, and he ranks the UFC.
He doesn't get to rank the top 25 in college football.
I don't believe.
I'm not exactly sure, but I don't believe he gets as much.
The coaches also rank the top 25.
So they probably have it as good as anyone,
and they still run into issues when talking about rankings.
There is no easy way to rank anything,
especially fighting.
One of the biggest issues
Dana had with the rankings
was Khalil Rang Street staying
where he was prior to the fight
with Alex Pereira.
Khalil fought a good fight.
A really good fight.
Khalil could potentially go up a spot or two
in the rankings.
Yes.
But Kalil
lost that fight
and didn't beat anyone
ahead of him.
And so to play
devil's advocate. I don't know the grounds at which he should have gone up much, if anything,
because Pereira's beat them all. And that's where the problem comes when you have a dominant
champion. Calil did really well. We thought it was a great fight. Everybody did. We've lent compliments
to Khalil Rauntree in abundance. Kalil Rauntree is still, still getting interviewed. His star rose
in defeat. But at the end of the day, he still lost.
So on what grounds are we really moving them up,
especially when the other guys didn't really fight.
I believe that when you change this, and they will,
it'll lead to a different set of complaints from people.
It'll make us all feel good internally.
Every one of us.
It'll make us all good feel better internally.
But people on the outside are still going to feel.
find a reason to complain.
Every title fight that I wasn't a champion, guys, I was number three ranked.
Dana got mad about that.
He remained the same.
But he said that now he wants to change it, and it'll change for the better because
every time he does, it does.
It does change.
Khalil should move up, but how far?
I think we've got to just get the people in position that know what they're talking about
if we want those rankings to change, change for the better.
Guys was tough.
That was a fight.
It was a fight.
It was like me fighting one of the tough ones in my career.
But it's okay.
We're up.
We won.
We got a decision.
It's all good.
Sometimes that's how you win.
But now for my final thought.
Guys, it's okay to walk away.
So we as athletes struggle to walk away from the game that has made us so uniquely us.
but it's okay. I promise you.
Foreign athlete, the unknown is the scariest thing in the world, especially when you're high thinking.
Because when you're a high thinking individual, your mind is always focusing on something.
But I promise you, it's okay.
The other side is amazing.
I know we fear the adulation and the fair.
and the rush that you get when you hit that curtain.
But it's not that bad on the other side.
Tony Ferguson is hanging on for far too long.
Donald Seroni said that he wants to come back.
You don't have to.
You don't have to.
It's not that bad on the other side.
Cowboys, Soroni's doing this because he wants to fight.
Cowan Royce is doing very well in everything.
I'd imagine Tony Ferguson is doing very well financial
and everything in life.
But he just not has,
he hasn't figured out who he is
outside of fighting.
So it's a struggle for him.
So I saw an article yesterday that said,
the UFC is going to have to show Tony Ferguson the door.
Sadly, I believe this is the case.
I believe that when he can let it go,
when he can experience the other side,
the other side is just life,
he'll be just fine.
So listen to a guy,
has done it. It's okay to be done. I promise you. It's not that bad. It's quite refreshing,
actually. Guys, thank you again for joining me for three rounds. I promise you I will be doing
this every single week, every Wednesday at 5 p.m. Eastern, 2 p.m. Pacific on my YouTube channel.
We'll discuss three of the biggest topics in mixed martial arts. We'll go in depth with every
single one of them. I appreciate you guys joining me on this whole YouTube journey. I love
and respect each and every one of you and I will never take the time that you take to watch
my stuff for granted. Until next time, like, subscribe, set a reminder so that you miss none of my
videos. Until next time, tell your friends that DEC's got a YouTube channel and I'm doing stuff
like three rounds and checking in with all my friends as I will next week in Abu Dhabi. Until next time,
peace.

Listen to Stuff to Blow Your Mind on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get to.
