Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:00:12 We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know, tired and sick. Tired and sick.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you. you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy. Not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
Starting point is 00:00:45 This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel. Help an Acapella band with their Between Songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the ice. Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed.
Starting point is 00:01:09 And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place. I'm Akela Hughes, and Rebel Spirit, season two, is about both of those things. As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority of black city in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslave people. Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Every family has its secrets. But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life? That is not the look of an innocent man. Is everyone lying to me about who they are?
Starting point is 00:01:49 I felt such desperation. I felt it was what I had to do. Listen to deep cover the family man. on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Joey Dardano, and on my new podcast, Hope from a Hypocrite, I'll be changing lives, helping people in need with thoughtful solutions. Sike, I'm a comedian. I'm not qualified to give good advice. Join me and my comedian friends as we riff, rant, recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to me.
Starting point is 00:02:23 This is Help from a Hypocrite, the worst advice from the dumbest people you know. Listen to help from Hippocrite Wednesdays on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The volume. What up, guys? Welcome back to a brand new episode of three rounds. Last week, the show did some amazing numbers, and that's because of you guys.
Starting point is 00:02:56 So I'm very thankful that you guys continue to tap into everything we do. But as you know, the world will continue to turn, and the boy DC continues to fight. So it's time for another challenge today. And another fight, it starts right now. Let's go. Wrong one. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Connor McGregor seems to be in the shit. I mean, oh man, it seems like he is in the absolute shit, being that. being that he was found guilty in his civil suit the other day are liable, may I say, and it's unfortunate because this is one of the biggest stars that this sport has ever seen. We've never seen anything like Connor McGregor in mixed martial arts.
Starting point is 00:03:55 So for a guy of that stature to come from our sport and be tied to something as bad as this, it really does suck. And there are going to be some long-term effects from this that I will discuss. But at the end of the day, guys, and I think this is something that we all need to learn. I'm not here to judge because I wasn't on the jury. I didn't have to make a decision. So this is only one man's opinion, right?
Starting point is 00:04:26 When I hear things like this, sometimes they are targeted, especially guys that carry that type of cliche, type of name recognition. But with Connor, it seems like there have been more than one instance where stuff like this has come up. Like I said, I'm not judging this man. I'm not dealing with he did this. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:57 I wasn't there. You know who know? Connor and that girl. But again, like I said, this isn't the first time that we have seen. something like that. So you're a little less inclined to be, oh, this is a gold digger that's trying to do this. It's just the truth the way it is. But do know that as long as there have been sports, there have been instances like this. Someone who didn't hold his tongue was Islam Mahathev, right? Islam wrote on X, it was a matter of time till this filthy bastard would be exposed.
Starting point is 00:05:34 alcoholic, drug junkie, and a rapist. Many more facts will come out. Trust me. Honestly, this to me, it seems a little bit off-brand for Islam, right? I know the boys. The boys love to talk trash. The boys love to mess around. The boys will tell you what they feel.
Starting point is 00:05:57 But it feels off-brand. But in this case, I feel like it could be him because this rival. between these boys from Dagestan and Connor McGregor has been as nasty as any rivalry as we have seen in mixed martial arts. But that doesn't mean that Connor is not without support. Dee Devlin his fiancee said, imagine a woman with her own boyfriend and a child
Starting point is 00:06:22 texting provocative pictures of herself to another woman's man with a family and a child on the way. This woman claims to know me. Yet she still went ahead and sent messages and pictures of herself over to my man. Really, wild out on a three-day bender texting excuses to her own child at home, whereas mommy is on a Saturday afternoon, a Saturday night Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, Sunday night all the way into Monday morning, all the while out of her face in a hotel room dancing around a hotel car park, which sort of woman are you, my sons,
Starting point is 00:07:02 will be warned women like you exist in this world. And they will be in tough situations because they are going to come for money. So I don't know the details of this. So I'm not going to say much more about it, but I do know that Connor is going to face some drastic terms. He has already been removed from proper 12, a whiskey that he started, which I don't quite understand.
Starting point is 00:07:27 How the hell do you kick a man out of a business that he started? Maybe he sold it? I just don't know. Hit Man, the video game. They took him out. They took him out. They took him out. Connor is going to face some real life consequences.
Starting point is 00:07:45 But my question to you guys is, does he need a fight to try to make y'all forgive him? Or will the fight world even accept this man as they used to with this being public knowledge? He's in the shit, guys. Now, he's overcome many things inside the octagon and in life. but for once I feel like this thing
Starting point is 00:08:05 I don't know if there's going to be any getting around this let me know in the comments Round two the boy Yuri Prohashka's mad My boy Yuri is mad And he's not trying to make any friends Yuri out here just taking shots at dudes
Starting point is 00:08:28 Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Yury come out with the Rudeger Yuri come out with the shoddy Yuri Prohashka is out here firing shots at dudes. Now, it's in the classic Yuri way, right? It's in a classic Yuri way. He don't have the sharpest tongue, but he is talking, it's talking, walking his walk.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Yuri, who just was recently announced to be fighting, Jamal Hill in Los Angeles, has been away since he lost to Alex Pereira. But he has this fight with Jamal now. and you see that during this time that he's been away, you're watching these dudes. You're watching everything people's saying. Yuri's been waiting for his moment to make a statement and show
Starting point is 00:09:19 that he's still Yuri Prohaska. You remember when Yuri got here. Struck fear in people's hearts because he knocked everybody out. He finished everyone. Everyone. He gets a mass. Massifight against another former champion in Jamal Hill. Now, you know what's kind of interesting to me is that Yuri was talking about Jamal,
Starting point is 00:09:43 but Jamal hasn't responded. Jamal Hill is not one that usually hold his tongue. I don't know why he hasn't said anything yet. I'd imagine that at some point he will. So, Yuri said, I'm really looking forward to my next fight. Jamal, don't you speak about my performances, my fight IQ and all of these things because in your last fight, you didn't show nothing really, right?
Starting point is 00:10:11 He said that in the fight with Alex Pereira, he didn't show anything. But as you guys all know, Yuri got finished twice by Alex. Jamal got finished once by Alex. But Yuri is saying that all the words that people are speaking about his fight IQ and the way that he fights should not be happening because they didn't do no better. Now, these two guys are both tremendous strikers.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Jamal Hill has shown, honestly, if I'm being honest, I didn't expect Jamal Hill to be who he is in fighting once I saw him on the contender series. To me, he didn't seem like a guy that popped off the page as a former champion, but he has shown now that he can. We have seen him go through some ups and some downs. Prohashka, when he got here, you knew immediately. Oh, this guy's dangerous. He's coming over from Russia.
Starting point is 00:11:04 He's beating everybody. He finishes everybody. There's a chance for him to be a champ, especially with the way that he beat Dominic Reyes in his UFC debut. We didn't know that about Jamal. Jamal had to come off the contend the series, earn it, get his arm broken,
Starting point is 00:11:20 come back and become a champion. So you have two extremely motivated guys getting ready to fight for what they hope is the number one contend to fight. But I don't think it's that clear. because they do have a number one contendant. It's Magamana and Kalaya. I mean, Yeri also had stuff to say about that dude,
Starting point is 00:11:39 who's been long waiting for his chance to fight for the belt. And it seems like now he's going to get that opportunity. Yerre said this same guy on Kalaya, in his last three fights, he showed totally nothing. So stay on the ground. Prohashka even said that he thinks he should have to wait more. for a title fight. Anc Goliath, he wasn't going to just stand idly by.
Starting point is 00:12:08 And why would he, right? Because this guy's got the title fight. You can talk to anyone you want to stay in the news. So he goes, hey, why are you talk about me? Two of your last three fights, you went to sleep. Uncle Gave said, Alex made you go to sleep. But I will make Alex go to sleep.
Starting point is 00:12:25 And I believe Jamal Hill will make you sleep also. Your new name is Sleepy Uri. just focus on your fight. So honestly, guys, I just love when foreigners talk trash because everything is kind of like just jumbled, but it makes sense,
Starting point is 00:12:41 and it was funny. It's always funny when they talk. So when this fight got announced, I was already excited, but even more now, because I believe that these two will be a tremendous matchup. But my question is,
Starting point is 00:12:57 what exactly is this for, considering both, have fought the champion and lost in the way that they did. So if there is a man to earn a title fight, I believe that it has to be Jamal Hill, right? Because we have seniority versus Alex twice, and we saw the ending of the story. We only saw it once with Jamal.
Starting point is 00:13:20 So I think, honestly, the ball's in this court. He's already the favorite, but he only lost to the champ once. So he needs to make a statement. Round three. Guys, let's do our news roundup. for his third and final round. First thing I want to talk about is Sean O'Malley.
Starting point is 00:13:42 He gave an update on his career, but he also gave some thoughts on Marab versus Umar. And if there's anyone that's an interested observer of the Banimate situation, it has to be Sean O'Malley, right? As he is the guy that just lost his belt to Marab de Wallis feeling. He said that, you know, he was hurt. Said he was hurt going into that fight at the sphere. so now he is recovering and he's back training.
Starting point is 00:14:13 But he said he's only been able to move around hit pads. He said, though, that he can't grapple. And if you watch the last fight, you know that the grappling is really where Sugar Shaw and O'Malley needs to make the biggest improvements. We know that he can box. We know that he can strike. But he needs to find a way to get back to grappling. Can't do that yet, right?
Starting point is 00:14:36 because of the injury that he had sustained. But when asked about Marab versus Umar, Sean O'Malley said, Umar wants to fight Marab in January. Peorriyan wants to fight Maraub in March. I want to fight Maraub in April. He goes, but Maraub is absolutely shitting himself. Terrified of Umar.
Starting point is 00:14:56 He doesn't want to fight Umar. Now he's saying he wants to fight Peoriaan, that he wants to fight me. Look, Sean O'Malley is correct in the fact that Marab seems to be saying he wants to fight everyone but Umar, but Sean O'Malley is
Starting point is 00:15:14 wrong in the idea that Marab's afraid of Umar and the Mega Metal. Maraub is not afraid of anybody. He's not. I mean, with the way that this guy trains, with the way that this guy lives, the way that he fights, his style will present issues for anyone. If there was a style that would really give him trouble,
Starting point is 00:15:31 it would have been O'Malley style, the long-ranging strike. and the guy that we were told had good takedown defense. We saw what happened in that fight. Hell, we saw Peota Yan versus Marab. Peottyon's a great striker with great wrestling, but we still wanted to kind of question whether Maraub could handle that style
Starting point is 00:15:50 after watching O'Malley beat Al Jermay and Sterling the way that he did. We thought that that would be the style that would give Maraub problems. Clearly it didn't as Maraub swept the fight on most scorecards. It was an amazing performance. Guys, did you all see Michael Chandler's leg? The swelling in his leg? The edema in his leg?
Starting point is 00:16:16 When he pressed down on his leg and they had those two big circles, that is the craziest shit. Now, this happens. I have seen people on airplanes, guys. People on airplanes that when they fly long, they get like edema. So it's so scary to me to not get this swelling
Starting point is 00:16:37 that when I go overseas, now I wear compression socks. One thing you can't do, though, is stop the leg kicks and the damage that your legs taking all the swelling. So when you press it like Chandler, he left like dits in his leg. I've had a demon like that. I don't think I've ever had it as bad as Chandler has it. That's crazy. But you can see him doing the right things, right?
Starting point is 00:17:01 all the sawn in, all the moving around is what makes that swelling come down and you're okay. But I want you guys to look at that and just understand the damage and the toughness and the durability you have to have and the ability to go through stuff in order to be a fighter. We watched Michael Chan to fight Charles O'Levara
Starting point is 00:17:20 for 25 minutes, and for the vast majority of that fight, he got beat up. But look at the damage he took on his legs to get there. I mean, we are 10 days, is post-fight and he's still dealing with that type of stuff. That shit is crazy. Last one, guys. Demetri's Johnson Ben Ascran yesterday.
Starting point is 00:17:41 We're discussing who won the trade when 1FC got DJ and when the UFC got Ben. Guys, you all know that Ben is my podcast partner and my friend. But come on, Ben. One FC won. They won. And it's clear. So DJ, who is a politician, said, everybody won, Ben. I got to go to one.
Starting point is 00:18:07 I made good money. You got to come to the UFC, get the opportunity to fight, see what you could do there. They got you, which you were good about creating buzz. You're talking trash and action. Everything. So if it wasn't for you, they might not even have the rise of George Mosvedal because of a flying knee. Street Jesus.
Starting point is 00:18:24 You wouldn't have had Kamar Uzman, Leon Edwards. So Ben Asker played a big part, but won one. And Ben agreed. He goes, that's the right answer. Everybody kind of won. He goes, one championship, I was done. I was not going to fight for them. So you got to go there, make your money.
Starting point is 00:18:42 I got to go to the UFC. He goes, if I'd have stayed in one, probably would have never fought again. One FC won guys. And that's okay, because Ben's a man. What's up, guys? UFC 310 is on the horizon. And boy, do we have some big fights coming to you from Vegas?
Starting point is 00:19:01 Kaya Sakura gets an opportunity to fight against Pantosia for the UFC title in his UFC debut and then Ian Gary and Chalkot Rockmanov fight, that is going to be a fantastic fight card. Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it.
Starting point is 00:20:50 We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember I think it was on a call about what we should call it And we were thinking
Starting point is 00:21:07 I'm originally calling it One of the early names of our band Before Jonas Brothers This is how you guys remember it going down Yes I have a very different memory of this We were talking about a thing A bit for the podcast For people could call in and say hey Jonas
Starting point is 00:21:23 And then I wrote down on my little notebook Hey Jonas and offered it up as a potential title For the podcast But thanks for remembering that guys listen to hey jonas on the iheart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcast just listen we don't care where you hear it another podcast from some s nl late night comedy guy not quite unhumor me with robert smigle and friends me and hilarious guests from bob odenkirk to david leterman help make you funnier this week my guess s n l's mikey day and head writer streeter sidel
Starting point is 00:21:54 help an a cappella band with their between songs banter where does your group perform we do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
Starting point is 00:22:19 And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before. And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves. I got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
Starting point is 00:22:39 he has to really guard guys like Nasree. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nash would get that thing. That man, hell get the flying.
Starting point is 00:22:56 He running up the court, licking his fingers, why he got the ball like, after you go through a training camp with that Isaiah, you figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Deanna Maria Riva, actress, mother, lover, and a Gen X woman walking through life one hot flash and hormonal crying jag at a time. You ladies know what I mean. I'll bet you a paramedipausal chin here you do. So let's talk about it.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Join me on my new podcast. How hard can it be with Deanna Maria. where I call on my Gen X squads from Ohio to Hollywood as we navigate midlife's most fantastic BS. All of a sudden, I'd had hanginess happening on my own. I was like, what the hell is that? I was married when I had her, so I didn't even consider how empty that nest was going to be. Mood swings, night sweats, fupas, sex drive. Wait, what sex?
Starting point is 00:23:52 Dating at 45. How can it be getting naked at 50 with the new guy? That one's kind of hard now. Well, that's lighting. They say we can't polish a turd, but we're sure going to try. So let's get blunt with laughs, tears, or tears of laughter, and dive into it, unfiltered and unbothered and ask, How Hard Can It Be? I cannot believe I'm about to say this out loud in public.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Listen to How Hard Can It Be with Diana Maria Riva as part of My Cultura Podcast Network available on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is Saigon, the story of my family and of the country that shaped us. The United States will not stand by and allow any power, however great, take over another country. From My Heart
Starting point is 00:24:35 Podcasts, Saigon. Please allow me to introduce Joseph Sherman. You don't think I'm serious about a free Vietnam? I should stop talking so much. I like hearing you talk. One city, a divided country, and the war that tore America apart. This is for Vietnam.

I am thankful for each and every one of you because you have supported me from the wrestler that came from the Olympic Games to strike force challenges on the undercard all the way to UFC champion
Starting point is 00:25:46 and now the broadcast that I am today. So I am thankful for you guys for the support, the love and the appreciation that you have given me. But I want you guys also to be thankful to the people that mean the most of you, our families, the people that sacrificed for us day in and day out. I'm thankful for them each and every day in my life.

Tell them thank you for being who you are and thank you for being as important to me in my life as you have been. Every year that passes, guys, we need to take note of everything that we have experienced and all the people that continue to hold us down. watch our backs and give us the love that we need as human beings to go forward every single day.
