Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Starting point is 00:00:23 Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged. It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year. Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth. Listen to Superhuman on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. A win is a win.

And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments. If we didn't talk ever again, I was harmed. You just understood.
Starting point is 00:01:55 That's how personal it got. Wow. Then after that game seven, Marquis coming to her, he's like, you know I love you, dog. You know, it's all love. This was just playoffs. This was just basketball. So listen to Point Game on the Iheart Radio app,

Starting point is 00:02:21 On a recent episode, I sat down with undisputed boxing champ, Clarissa Shields, and comedian Wanda Sykes, to talk about Wanda's new movie Undercard, the art of trash talk, and what it really means to be ladylike. Starting point is 00:02:35 Brought to you by Novartis, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports Network. The volume. The NBA is finally back. A new season means new ways to get into the action at Draft King's Sportsbook, an official sports betting partner of the NBA. You can bet on teams to win,

Starting point is 00:03:22 My name is DJ Wells with my esteemed co-host. I got to be here with me. I got T with me to my right. How are you doing this morning? Chill'am, brother. Good, good, good, good. All right, man, you know what the show is about,
Starting point is 00:03:34 keep you up today. Everything happening in sports world, especially basketball. We're going to start off something that impacts, you know what I'm saying, in the world. It starts off here locally, man. The coach made a decision yesterday to bench Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacko.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Man, obviously with us being in Indianapolis, we know how the media has been treating Anthony Richardson in the coach sees him so far, but did you expect for it to get this far? Yep. Pretty much. Once he said he was tired in the third quarter, I pretty much knew what was over with.
Starting point is 00:04:06 That's tough because I understand that that's really wild, and we talked about how crazy it is to take place. But for them to binge him, especially when you have a very, very important game coming up, a national televised game with, you know what I'm saying, in Minnesota Vikings, for your franchise to be a shredding that light, the next major play you want to go with Joe Flacco?
Starting point is 00:04:24 Yeah, we don't have no choice. Who else we're going to go with? Bring Flacky to the table, bro. We want Baltimore Ravens Flacky. Well, my problem is this. Now you have to look at the organization for questions before we really put all of this hate and blame on Anthony Richardson because if you get a quarterback where they got a quarterback in the draft,
Starting point is 00:04:43 he was pretty much unproven to college. You knew he was a working project. He hasn't played a full season yet. If you want him to get good, you have to let him play. No, I mean, let him work. I thought you were just saying, like, you're going to go with Joe Flago? I mean, shit, if we benching, that's who we got to go with. I mean, most definitely.
Starting point is 00:04:59 I think you should give him a chance, of course. You know what I mean? Just let him rock out the rest of the season, really. Yeah, I really not like that for real. I'm not about to bring a Super Bowl here this year. Just let him work the Kings out if he can because he's not going to get better on the sideline to me. I ain't a football player, but I think you need reps in order to, you know what I mean? He need reps, and I'm not saying.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I like Anthony Richardson. I think he's a cool guy. But. I don't know if the quarterback position is like him right now. I think he need to learn a little more. I know he set out the whole year last year, but he need a little more time. Like you said, he ain't played much at Florida.
Starting point is 00:05:39 And his time at Florida, he played well, but he didn't throw the ball great at Florida. Now, he threw the ball far, but he didn't throw it great. And right now, I think he just need a little more time to develop. And, I mean, you get better about playing, but he might get better by watching. I mean, FACO, every time he plays, seem to play well. Yeah, and that's the thing. You know, the coach, especially since the luck era,
Starting point is 00:06:01 have had a history of getting older quarterbacks, having, not say successful seasons, but the season that's borderline playoffs are right there on the cusp of it. But at the same time, we talk about other different situations. It's like mediocrity consistently. So you get AR, so you hope to develop a quarterback. But like you said, if he's not playing,
Starting point is 00:06:20 how does he get better? You look at some of the greats, even Peymanning, one of the worst rookie QB season you've ever seen. You look at early with my guy up in Buffalo gang, not as well on the blame right now. But if you look at him,
Starting point is 00:06:34 Josh Allen? Yeah, Josh Allen. He had a terrible rookie season. And I just say this the same because it's second season, but from a game play standpoint, man, he can figure it out. But at the end of the day, even if he plays and he's terrible, you still get a better pick.
Starting point is 00:06:46 It's not like they're contending, like you said. So I'm confused about this. I think that a lot needs to go into the organization to look in the mirror for some situations. Shane Stuyckton has not been the best this is what you're supposed to be doing. It's supposed to be the QB Whisper.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Okay, we'll get to it. The GM, Ballard has been under the high seat because a lot of things in the off-season did not get addressed. And also, listen, if you're doing this situation so you can save your job, that's unfair to him. Yeah, thanks. But that's the name of the business. Most definitely.
Starting point is 00:07:12 Exactly. And I'm like, Coach is the best team. You know what I mean? Work on your game, bro. I'm going to save myself before I save you, my boy. And that's the crazy part about it. It's like, you know, bro. I mean, that's most businesses in general,
Starting point is 00:07:23 and especially in the name of sports, you know, those positions, they would to keep their job. So, of course, they're going to do whatever they got to do to have a good resume, have a good report. But, man, that's really kind of unfair to him, especially, you know, him being a minority quarterback, you look at a lot of those guys.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Man, look at Bryce Young. Bryce Young, year two, in a terrible situation. Everybody's calling him damaged goods. Yeah. He's not going to get that chance to be, okay, if it doesn't work out, he can be a two-year backup. But, you also got to, you know, yeah, we're not with him every day.
Starting point is 00:07:49 We don't know what he's doing. We don't know how he prepared. Toucha. So he might not prepare the way they think he should. and when he goes out, he doesn't produce and he goes out there. So maybe they're like, man, he's not preparing and so maybe the same for him.
Starting point is 00:07:59 So they need to go in a different direction. And that's a difference between Bryce, him and Bryce Young. When Bryce Young is out there, he produces. They don't know who to play. Bryce Young having a better season than Anthony Richardson. Wow, that's tough. I would want to either one of those seasons
Starting point is 00:08:15 to be completely honest. Yeah, man. He ain't. The thing about AR is, like we said, he can throw the ball really, really far. When they had those opportunities and also injury has played, they didn't have Johnson Taylor for a while. You got to kind of let you have to deal with it, man.
Starting point is 00:08:29 I think that any of that has been spoiled. You went from Peyton and Andrew Luck. That doesn't happen much. I know the last couple years have been old QBs on their way out the league, but this is what it takes, man. Sometimes you've got to deal with it. Yeah. I mean, he needs an opportunity to try to get better or whatever,
Starting point is 00:08:43 and you got to play to get better. But I'm saying it got to be something else. It got to be something that he's not doing off the field. Like, he might not be preparing right. If he's saying, but no, if he's saying he's tired, then it got to be something else, bro. Yeah, I was going to say, to be real, the whole, I'm tired on third down. I know people who's like, everybody gets tired, but that's still crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:05 And given the circumstances of which how he's been playing and the magnitude of that game yesterday, I don't want to hear that. Yeah, I'm telling you all, it's about what he's doing off the field. The way he's preparing, they're like, man, he just don't get it. Because you just, you, obviously the coach, they're not playing for nothing. I mean, they could be, but they're probably not going to be playing for nothing. And you got to work with him. You picked him that high you got to.
Starting point is 00:09:27 It's something else, bro. It's like, nah, he's just not getting it. We got to show him that we're not playing. He either going to lock in. If he don't, we're going to play flag. Obviously, that's what I mean. And it's always bad because if you watch the coach games, as soon as something bad happens on offense,
Starting point is 00:09:43 they pan straight to Joe Flacco like they did. It was like they did Taylor after the Kansas City games. As soon as something going bad. I was like, oh, they ain't painting the narrative. Regardless of how we feel about it, they're pushing this agenda. And apparently it has worked. I don't know if that coming on third down was like a little pal, like as a reprimand for it. But it's crazy, man.
Starting point is 00:10:03 You will some, Coach. So we'll see. Yeah, we'll see. Hey, d'nics, we cast some boys out. Hey, NFL different, bro. It's not the NBA. You have two bad games in the NFL. It's a conversation.
Starting point is 00:10:14 You have a couple in a row. They're going to get you up out of there, bro. I'm a falcons fan. You're a talk. Oh, here we go. Kurti. Yankees, man, got they get back 11 to 4.
Starting point is 00:10:23 They're trying to, you know, stay a lot. That's a money grab. Let's keep this thing rolling as long as we can, man. That's all. Watching that game last night was like the daughters,
Starting point is 00:10:34 they had, some of their best relievers that they could have put in. They're just like, nah, we're going to wait. Like, kind of how like Boston did
Starting point is 00:10:40 with the mad. It's like, ah, we're going to give you out of game. That's go crazy. Is there too much energy? Y'all got it. We'll catch you on next time around. It's going seven, though.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Excuse me? You think that the Yankees have a chance to make this series something? Watch. Watch. Watch what? You're going to come back? Yankees won't win another game. Oh, Drive Kings handshake here? Watch.
Starting point is 00:11:02 It can be a draft king. Whatever you want to do. I ain't bet. I'm just like, y'all going to see. All right, because I'm undefeated on this show. I know it was good for TV. Really? He's undefeated on this show, except for the parlay.
Starting point is 00:11:16 Oh, me. I'm talking about my co-hosties. I know what's good for TV, man. They definitely go on seven. For sure. I wanted to ask you about this. Like, it's crazy because the, you know, the World Series,
Starting point is 00:11:29 they'd be having games back to back to back. How would that be if they happen in the NBA? I know that's probably like unlikely because of recovery time or stuff like that. But I think that the way that you lose to a team and you come back and you can get your revenge that next day instead of having to sit and still and think about it, I think that's fire.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Yeah, I think it'll be bad basketball. It would be too tired. Mm-hmm. Maybe a lot of... I mean, everybody got an opportunity to play. I'll tell you that. But it's probably a lot of injuries. I could definitely see that.
Starting point is 00:11:54 But I just think if they ever wish to do it in the finals, like obviously we know the money and everything else behind it is the reason why I won't. But just from a standpoint of them, because they'd be having two or three days because you want to see their best at their best. Yeah, facts. But just the fact that you can get you go,
Starting point is 00:12:05 get back in 24 hours. No, that'd be, that'd be dope. Like, I think that's how everybody wished you could play basketball. But obviously, it's too hard. Games too long, too many games. Bodies be broken down when they're right. Yeah, that's crazy. Tripting Bayla at the NCAA tournament, man.
Starting point is 00:12:20 That would be insane for sure. Listen, we've seen the first season starting five on Netflix. We got the new roster coming up. We got Katie, Y'alli, Y'alli, Jalen Brown, man. How y'all feel about that cast? Week. Dang, you ain't feeling that? Oh, take my suggestions.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Who you're all about? Talk about it for five, bro. Talk to him. Aunt Pablo Jai. And I already did it. Yeah, and I already did. Bring you back. He's been weird crazy.
Starting point is 00:12:47 You know, yeah. What do you mean? You see the table of freestyle. This ain't parr. We ain't get boys out of there. Bring me back. I'm going to start the show. What I say, Pablo and Jai, you got to bring,
Starting point is 00:13:00 what's my boy from the Washington Wizards? Number three, Jor and Pull, spice it up. Turn me up at West Housa. I guess Halliburton. You got to put a mixed breed on there. No, I'm cool. I like this. People was talking about when they saw this, like,
Starting point is 00:13:16 dang, we wish this was James Hard to Houston. Yeah, now that would have been. been lit. But James Hart in LA ain't bad either, though. Most definitely not. He ain't going to do nothing on TV, though. I think the only person is really going to show who they are as in. On this one, I could definitely see Tyrese doing it. Katie,
Starting point is 00:13:31 you'll get a decent clips of Katie. Katie can do whatever now. He's easier. I want to think I'm showing blonde. Oh, so smoking. Yeah, I was going to say, that's going to be that's tough. That'd be hard, though. We don't encourage it, but for the viewers, for the entertainment purposes. If it's legally, your state,
Starting point is 00:13:48 go crazy i mean he spoke about it on big platforms already yeah roll up on a new bus bro give us something bro like we know y'all who bro we i think this is for people to see that you're human beings normal human beings bro you know i mean we cool watching you with your family stuff like that bro
Starting point is 00:14:05 but i think it's far because like you said we get a glimpse of like everybody's really humans and it's like okay we get we get caught up and being fans in the situation like all right it's possible for you to have a bad day on your way to work like everybody else yeah because people like for y'all Damn, I can't wish I got going on. Hey, bro, I need you cover this part. Like, bro, I don't care how bad your drive was to work.
Starting point is 00:14:23 They talk bad to you, too. So it's cool to see these other side of people, man. Like, I want to see SGA. I don't know him much. I mean, played against them, but don't know him. But to see probably how you work or how he go about this day, preparing to get 30 on everybody. That's going to be cool.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Yeah, like you said, it's a chance for them to get introduced to a different audience. People randomly scrolling on Netflix are really tapping in with these people and, like, really like, the brand. Because, like, you said, everybody hoops, but you don't see what everybody puts in. the game. And some people, the way that they put
Starting point is 00:14:50 their game together is really admirable. Yeah, fair. We know Jaylon Brown will be on there serious. That's corporate. No, see, Jaylon Brown might get on there and really talk crazy. He didn't got the bag. He didn't got the chip. He might really get on there. You see how he was with Stephen A?
Starting point is 00:15:03 I guess I got to be with Nike to be on Team USA. He might really go on there and pop some shit. I mean, he's already doing a lot. He had a birthday party, so I'm sure that's going to be on there with a little baby and everybody being there. So that might be cool sight to see you. Barack Obama, bro.
Starting point is 00:15:16 He going presidential all this? Yeah. Which ain't bad. I'm just saying, I know you ain't gonna probably get that much from him. I ain't a lot, but that's him every day. Like, who's at when we play for Boston? He joke and stuff, obviously,
Starting point is 00:15:28 but pretty serious, dude. I think SGA is the most surprising that people are waiting for on that list. Yeah, he might really surprise people how he is. That's why I would be interesting and watching his story. Shout to my dog, Tyree's too, man. Keep the Vegas trip off there.
Starting point is 00:15:44 That's not least when we get to the game. Recaps, hey, man, shout to Rudy Gay, man. Rudy Gade now since retirement, 18 years as a pro. Thank you, K legend. Come on, man. Code of a small Ford ever out of Yukon. 100%. I don't even know.

Starting point is 00:16:07 Peron Ford. What's my boy that played? He looked like a, I can't call him a monkey, I guess. Number 33. No, that wouldn't be good. He was cold. Can't remember names at the moment. We had to, we have to get a list going.
Starting point is 00:16:22 He wasn't that cold. He can't remember his name. I can't remember. He was cold, man. He used to get buckets, bro. He used to get buckets. Man, shots was Rudy gave. Now he and Marshall's a small four.

Starting point is 00:16:42 You fucking crazy. He wasn't been in Karam Butler. Yes, he was. Yes, he was. Hey, he ain't doing nothing. That, you call. What do you mean? I'm talking about stats.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Stop talking about winning. You don't want to do stats. He was killing. He wouldn't kill him more to Karam Butler or Yukon. Yes he was, bro. I swear to God he would. Yes he was. Oh, yeah. You caught.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Coram Bullets. Rudy Gay and Stats of Yukon. You're the coldest, bro. I love crime. CB, what you did to get to Yukon, you goaded, just off that. Yeah. But on the court, give me Rudy Gay, bro. I'm nothing.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Hey, man. Shoot a guy, Rudy Gay. Rudy Gay. Not in the league. The league. The league. Maybe. That's a toss-up, though, in the league.
Starting point is 00:17:20 I'm taking Quran in the league. Yeah, I'm really taking him very weird. Yeah, Karan is all-story. Yeah, but in college, I'm asleep, bro. Rudy Gay? Cold, bro. March Madden is legend, bro. For sure, man.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Shout to Rudy Gay. I'm going to do some research. Are you going to tap in? Okay. A couple games run out of last night. Nuggets got the Nets. He got a question. Crazy stuff on here, man.
Starting point is 00:17:44 I got started checking shit. You're checking shit? Yeah. Okay. Checking shit is crazy. First of all. Staying on a bit of some Charlie V. Shots and Drew Walsh.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Hey, man, Nuckus beat the next OTSA day, 144, 139. Yokish man putting a team on his back another night. This spooky for them, bro. Overtime, back to back is crazy. Bro. Need a break, bro. Overtime, back to back nights, bro. And they'd be wondering why he'd be having such a long face in my basketball.
Starting point is 00:18:14 Bro, I got to carry these dudes so much, bro. I'd be loving the offseason. got to have my back aching. Wayne Wonder went crazy though yesterday. Shot the Strother, man. 2814. Call him Wayne Wonder. Wow. Cam.
Starting point is 00:18:28 Cam went crazy. Hey, did this bill. As usual. Yeah. They've been killing. Yeah, that bad quarter is all right, bro. And we're talking about that being on the team where you don't have to pass the ball, nobody.
Starting point is 00:18:38 They wings is not about to catch it and create. And Ben don't want to shoot. So, yeah, they got the ultimate green light. That's fire for them. For sure. Man, I can't believe he could bury Rudy Gain, Kron, Publer. Man, get out of here. Shout to Rudy Gave is 13.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Crown Buller average 18. So the same thing. He had a better team, bro. He played with a whip. 13 and 18. Rudy gave played with a whip, bro. 13 and 18, not the same thing. He is, bro.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Man. It's the same thing, bro. No. How long was Karan in college? Karin was in jail. I always bring those niggas allegations. Yeah, 18. The real one is he there.
Starting point is 00:19:12 18, 7, and 3. How long was he there, bro? Damn. Shout to the iPads. Shout to that niggum, Obama phone. He got it. Get a bit of Wafah. My Wafel, I can't.
Starting point is 00:19:27 He got a lot of accolades on this motherfucker. Cut it out, bro. First round, 10th pick, 2001, 2002. Oh, no. Two-time all Biggie's, two-time. All-Big E's tournament. Two-Ean Rishman.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Biggie's tournament MVP. Who's next, DJ? Why he's doing? I'm saying people are watching this show. Yeah, that's crazy. He was there two years. How long was Rudy there? Too long?
Starting point is 00:19:53 No, don't do that. Don't do that. I think Rudy is O-4 class. He was there two years. Right. Right. How many rebounds he average? Five.
Starting point is 00:20:02 Coram Butler average seven. That's pretty good. Oh, wait a minute. I think we had an ace and a hold. Yeah. But he had a better team. He had a good. We don't pass.
Starting point is 00:20:13 No, we don't pass. We don't pass. We all pure buckets. We got to move along, man. That's a hell of a debate for another time. Hell, no, that's disrespectful. It's not, bro. Man, the Jazz is like one of the game team.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Secure Business 1-13-96. The bonus 28 and 11. D. Rose, 28, man. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged. It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
Starting point is 00:20:48 embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year. Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth. Listen to Superhuman on the I-Hard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care which I'm saying. Yep, that's me, Clipper Taylor the 4th.

And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves, I gotta manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think
Starting point is 00:22:32 Joker's gonna be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when I T's friends stop by like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too.
Starting point is 00:22:50 Steve Nass would get that thing. That man, hell get the flying. He running up the court, licking his fingers why he got the ball, like, after you go through a training camp with that, I say, you figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball.
Starting point is 00:23:06 So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, everyone. It's Ryder Strong, and Will Ferrell from PodMeets World. Starting point is 00:24:10 If a baby is giggling in the back seat, they're probably happy. If a baby is crying in the back seat, they're probably hungry. But if a baby is sleeping, being in the back seat. Will you remember they're even there? When you're distracted, stressed, or not usually the one who drives them, the chances of forgetting them in the back seat are much higher. It can happen to
Starting point is 00:24:32 anyone. Parked cars get hot fast and can be deadly. So get in the habit of checking the back seat when you leave. The message from Nitsa and the ad council. What did the jazz have called? Because that nigga D. That's what Kintra called him in the song. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:47 The morning rows I was like, damn, I'm not thinking he retired. We ain't doing that. The boy and Rosa, don't give a damn about that song. My boy, we know. Four games in, a dub, plus every night. Oh, yeah, you know what he's going to do, man. He's going to get to it.
Starting point is 00:25:04 My boy might be the verified. The professional score, bro. Yeah. You get buckets. Now, the jazz, they have a lot of pieces of other teams looking forward to having on their team. I don't know what they're going to do right now, but definitely Cooper Flagg's sweepstakes for them as well.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Oh, yeah. He's right in. Oh, yeah. New Balance deal in Utah, they're going platinum. That might be some home cooking right there. Please don't go there. Listen, man, we got the Western Conference Finals rematch last night, the Mavs and the T. Wolves 1-214-14 Mavs.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Man, listen, that was a crazy game from the start, man. Anthony Edwards 24 points in the first quarter. I thought it was already over there. Yeah, for him to only end up with 37. I thought he was going for 50. But, you know. Who locked him up? The Mavs was nobody, bro.
Starting point is 00:25:44 We were just shooting bad. Don't do that. The Maves just turned it up, though. In particular, Kari was on that all night last night. Yeah. Carrey, boy, he's special. He's unguarded. He's all, man.
Starting point is 00:25:55 Yeah, as we all know. But, yeah, that's, and for Clay. Clay took the night off yesterday. I think he only had, like, seven points. Yeah, he didn't have the best game. But you talked about it lively, but also I got to show some of the damn Gafford. That tan, though, at the four and five, so when they play together, bro, is a really, really tough team to deal with, man.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Nah, them too big athletic guard, I mean, bigs that get, they're super-athlete, get rebounds running around, try to change shots at the rim. So, they got. got a special dynamic with them too, man. I mean, that's the way the league is going, a lot of threats and guys that can guard on the perimeter as big. So they figured it out. Definitely, man.
Starting point is 00:26:28 A lot of people, you know what I'm saying? Figure they might be close in the contition of the West again. But why they're looking? Listen, Luca had 24 last night, almost a triple double, but he still really kind of had an off night. I mean, he hit a hell of a shot, you know what I'm saying, to secure the game. That was a nasty step back from Denver half court.
Starting point is 00:26:43 But he didn't have a best night. We know, Kyrie can carry you there. But, man, if they get one more, piece, I think they are a piece away from being a championship team. They got it now to me. You think so? I think they need one more player off the bench that can kind of give them the points
Starting point is 00:26:58 when they haven't been, like a six-man type situation, you can just give them a ball and get points because, you know, when you get to the east, if they play a cell 16, they're going to need another wing who's capable. Yeah. But other than that, I mean, yeah, of course, obviously they got to West Carolina Farnas last year and then add it clay. I kind of like how Luca is playing, though. I mean, obviously, he's having some off games,
Starting point is 00:27:17 but he kind of letting everybody rock. He's not like being as ball-dominated like he used to be. He letting Karee doing his thing. He's getting clay shots. He's kind of playing like a real point goal right now. His shot not falling like that, but we know how explosive he can be when it comes to scoring the ball. For sure, man.
Starting point is 00:27:34 Even yesterday with Julius Randall, 27 to 7. Yeah, that's a lot. Aggressive, you know what I'm saying? While A, he was still killing. And I think, like you said, I'll see the chemistry building with him for sure, man. Especially on the court. I just like that energy together.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Yeah, bro. Shack and Kobe. We're good. We're good. I don't know why you get to say that. We're good, bro. It ain't nothing to harp on. We're going to move on to the next game, bro.
Starting point is 00:27:52 I don't think that team ain't going to get it. The team ain't going to do what? They're going to be playing. This is probably the most disrespectful. See, I'm trying to stay Stephen A and, you know, that's very disrespectful, bro. You're not being real. What's their record right now?
Starting point is 00:28:12 You're not being real, bro. It's 500 right now, early in the season, though. It's four games. He's play 100 games. Playing is crazy. Telling you, bro. Make sure y'all clip this up. That's pure foolishness.
Starting point is 00:28:24 That's for the futures. Man, bro. What's the, who played next? What the fuck? That's crazy. Hey, Midd Warriors. Beat the Pelicans last night, 124 to 106.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Listen, Steph didn't play last night, but it didn't matter because Bahamas' version of Steph played last night. My boy, Buddy Hill, had 28, 7 from 11 for 3. I said, I said, Buddy Hill, gonna go crazy. Hey, and we're going to talk about him
Starting point is 00:28:45 in next segment, too. in true Buddy Hill fashion. He had one assist, baby. I love it. We don't swing that. He said he said he said he said. He had the Oklahoma team with him. He had his college teammates back.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Did nobody play? Yeah, it was real tough last night. And listen, before we get to the game, let's talk about Kaminga, man. His situation, you know what I'm saying? They did not get the extension on the fourth year. It happened before,
Starting point is 00:29:08 but it was kind of like, we kind of surprised that it didn't work out for his rookie extension. And then for him to get benched last night, where you don't have Steph Orwick, was really alarming. He smoked a bag, man. Dang, you think so?
Starting point is 00:29:21 It's over with, man. Like, you ain't going to get as much money as you thought. You definitely not get no max deal. And then they'll get, like, we probably turned down four years, five years, 125 to 150 or something. He probably turned that down. It's over with it.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Yeah, that's tough. Like, you said, that rookie deal, you got to lock that in. You got to lock it in, bro. And he's in, he with a coach who's standing up business. is the man who bench Jason Tatum in the Olympics, bro. You think he care about standing a business with you? Yeah, bro.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Everybody in Africa rolling around in their grave, bro. But he wasn't that proven anyway. Like, he got potential to be good, but he ain't really do nothing. Yeah, that's my thing. Like, like you said, the opportunity was there 20% but you haven't done anything that made them, like, be head over heels happy, especially the organization that's had greats at that position for so long. Yeah, you got to really be good because we talk about him at the beginning of year,
Starting point is 00:30:15 C-person. said it's probably the deepest team I've had. We all said, yeah, that's some bullshit. Bless you. But then you look, you got Lindy Waters yesterday coming off of Mitch 21. Hey, people probably don't know who he is. But if you get production like that from guys, you got to credit the system. And right now it's like you ain't bigger than the system.
Starting point is 00:30:30 And he's not, I ain't going to lie. He got potential. But most definitely. I just don't, I've never seen him really, really, really kill. Like I haven't been like, oh, like Jalen Johnson. I've seen him kill. I'm like, man, he's going to be all right. Like, Kameen, God just be like, hmm.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Yeah, he ain't had them Jordan Poole moments. Yeah, he definitely didn't have no Jordan Poole moments. He didn't have those. All right. I mean, he must be good. I mean, he can be good. That's on a deal, bro. Do you feel like he could benefit from being on a different team
Starting point is 00:31:01 in a different situation? Nah, I mean, you're in the perfect situation. You're playing with a... He can't really shoot the ball like that. He's not a shooter. If you was around a whole bunch of shooting and you're a dynamic wing, supposedly. That's perfect for you.
Starting point is 00:31:14 The lane going to be open. and you can use your athleticism to get to the bucket. They're not helping off stuff. Dremont, the best screener. He don't even want to shoot. Hell of Silver's had a kid. Yeah, my thing is, too, like,
Starting point is 00:31:26 it's about to be your team. You're about to have the keys to the city. Well, you was if you were to sign the bag, what I'm saying? Everybody's about to slide, bro. He was going to be straight. Yeah, but I don't even think that. Because he said, I need money like Kaua Lina.
Starting point is 00:31:41 That's what blew me. When he said he had those, I mean, also, You got to say yourself, but those are some tough comparison. He put himself to Kauai Lennon and Pascal. Two champions who approved an average basically 20 until they first started league, except for Kawhi, due to the situation. That's a bad place to put yourself in comparison. Yeah, I'm asleep on that.
Starting point is 00:31:58 He averaged last year, like 12, 13. He actually had a decent game yesterday, though. You know what I mean? Yeah, off the bench for sure. Yeah, yeah, he would. He was straight. Come on, bar. If you're moving to the bench when people are out,
Starting point is 00:32:09 that's a different conversation, man. But we got so love to the Pelicans too, you know what I'm saying, Zion, be out of both had 30 late. last night. Yeah. They can't lose that game, though. Can't. Can't.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Not with Steph. They was already, and they was up 20. That's the important part that we didn't talk about. They were up 20. The Warriors were down, 20. And.
Starting point is 00:32:24 Yeah, but C.J. McCollum had a bad game yesterday, too. They really needed him. Like, him only having five points was kind of crazy for them. Yeah, that's out of pocket. Especially if you already got a 20-point lead and smoking that, no stuff, no, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:38 He'd been on pace to average another duff for the year. So it's for him to have five points yesterday. And he wasn't aggressive. offensively yesterday. I mean, when some people got it rolling, though, it's kind of tough. That 30 ball. Yeah, and two people got 30. You might be the eyeball out sometimes.
Starting point is 00:32:53 But five is crazy. Yeah. For him, yeah. Five is bad if it's a terrible, I mean, five ain't ever really acceptable, but five is bad when you have that type of suit percentage as well, I understand. Yeah. So, lesson, we got a lot of matchups coming out tonight. First games first, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:33:06 The two-be game of the day, the rappers are hornets who you are rolling with? Horners about 30. By 30? Yeah. He said the rappers was out of the club. last night. We were going with Teague? I don't even care. What a match of. Lakers at
Starting point is 00:33:21 Cavs. They said that Brony and Bronny and Bronner supposed to take the floor tonight in Cleveland. How y'all feel about that? About time. Cavs about 20. Now this is a ESPN game. This is star-studded
Starting point is 00:33:34 event right here, man. Caves about 20. Yes, Brony. Kill Garland tonight. Iso. You are good with a readers. If there is girl at his own you today. Go crazy, King. He's nice. Behan does not love you because if you want to want
Starting point is 00:33:50 with D.G. 2.19. Who's sitting out? For Brony to play. What do you mean? Ain't nobody got to sit out. I'm just playing tonight, bro. Why somebody got to be on I-R? Gay. That must not be getting off. I'm cool with that. G.V. No, shout out to game, man. Stay back at the car. Right.
Starting point is 00:34:11 We got rolling with, man. Lakers of Caves. Cass. You got to be in. For shit to giggles, bro. Give me the Lakers, bro. Hey, man, I hope Brian kill him in Cleveland. Why not? Give me a Lakers, bro.
Starting point is 00:34:24 Yeah, it's just a good moment, bro. That's a good moment. That's definitely a ESPN game tonight for sure. I hope they boo-on. That'd be funny. He had probably said it booed. You grew up in L.A. No, I'm from here.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Don't do that. They said tripping. We're in this bitch out. Shout out to monization. Seventh-examination. y'all rolling with? I ain't like that, I'll pause. Just say y'all who y'all pick me.
Starting point is 00:34:48 I ain't have to do all that. But that's good. Celtics. Anytime it's somebody versus y'all, just leave me out of it. Seltyx, listen, if you want to make some money tonight, and I ain't even go get to be his part.
Starting point is 00:35:00 Like, whoever is killing of Celtics, live bet over. Take the over. Because we give our highlights, unfortunately. Yeah, y'all, hold on. Let's pause right there for them. Y'all are really one and three, bro? Yes.
Starting point is 00:35:11 Damn. We have lost two games that we should not. lost. We shouldn't have lost Orlando. We smoked that game. Y'all, I told you that. Moving along. The pissus at the 70s.
Starting point is 00:35:22 Told you what he do. Pissons have not won the game this season. The 76ers. I'm not starting off my day with two slaters in a row. You won't ruin my sports. You won't ruin my sports. Pistons are, the pistons. Jesus, I don't even know if we could put them on tubi.
Starting point is 00:35:37 Put them on sidekick LX. Anything would dial up that, yeah, the Wizards, I mean, excuse me, seven, sixes, about whatever. Taurice Maxie, he getting 35 Take it over tonight, baby Who the Pistons coach? J.B. right?
Starting point is 00:35:51 J.B. Biggers said? Yeah, he told him no hoodies. He's trying to change the culture. Let them put their hoodies back on, bro. He ain't won't again. For you to be trying to switch up the dress coat is crazy. You are not David Stern. For you to think that the pisses, the problem
Starting point is 00:36:04 is that they are wearing different bags of clothes like it's the old dress coat. They have a lot more issues than what they wear a dog. Let them young boys rock. Man, they suck. Yeah. Speaking of bad, Hawks and Wizards. This is the late two be gay

Starting point is 00:38:58 tonight. Oh, yeah, most definitely. I can see that low for show. Yeah. Man, your favorite segment on this show, Be here and verified buckets who was getting to it last night.
Starting point is 00:39:06 And man, seven for 13 from the three. You know, we didn't get the dub, but I'm really and 37. We're off to a good start, baby. For sure. Man, you know, I got to go my favorite player of all the time. Kyrie Irvin, you know what I'm saying? Thirty-five. Sixteen to the third, too.
Starting point is 00:39:21 I know that's your favorite player of all the time. Yeah, man. He passed you up to arenas, man. Give you my dog, but games to game. Kaii got to it last night, man. My very far bucket is Yokich. He'd been carrying his team all year, back-to-back 40-point games. And he got 29, 18, and 16 last night.
Starting point is 00:39:41 He really pride. He won't MVP pace again. Even though he don't want it. He don't want the MVP. He don't even want to play basketball. That's how good he is, bro. He don't even like basketball, man.
Starting point is 00:39:51 That's really his job. And I respect that. I do my job at a good capacity. But when I'm off work, I'm off work. I'm trying to go race where you. I'm not trying to kick with y'all. He's really mad right now. Because he is good at playing basketball.
Starting point is 00:40:02 He don't want to play. This is just boring to me. Yeah, 29, 18 and 16 is boring. Which is crazy, bro. Which is crazy. And what's so crazy about him is like, he got a ring already. So really, I mean, from people's eyes,
Starting point is 00:40:14 you got Maxdale in the ring, bro, you're solidified. He doesn't care. He don't, it's effortless. Do you ever think he'll leave the Nuggets? I think he's going to quit playing basketball after his deal is up. You think so?
Starting point is 00:40:26 Yeah, I don't think he's going to be one of them guys that play 20 years, 60 years. No, 20 years, no. Yeah, no. Like, what year he may be in like year 8, 9? We look it up right now. I think he literally is going to retire after his deal is up.
Starting point is 00:40:39 After this last deal, I think he'd probably be done playing basketball. That's crazy. I'm looking it up now because I think it's close new. Yeah, I see him doing 10 and out. 10 and out. I think whatever his contract is left on this contract, I think he's going to finish it up. And you're going to 9?
Starting point is 00:40:54 Oh, man. He probably got like three or four years left on his new deal. Yeah, he got two at least. Oh, he's done that. That's crazy. But, I mean, what's so crazy about it is he can re-up again if he felt like it, but he's not. I mean, what are he on like a $300 million deal?
Starting point is 00:41:10 Yeah, he's on his, he's on a I agree with Jeff because he's accomplished everything. I don't want everything in this league. So I'm going to go back to Serbia and turn up, bro. All the horses in that country. I got half a bill. Yeah, I'm straight. I don't know the cost of living what over there in Serbia is, but...
Starting point is 00:41:25 Huh? Oh, yeah. He's just last year in NBA. That's crazy. 2.28. Hey, honestly, we'll have another conversation if he gets close to another ring, or if he gets another one, but that would be far. Like, to get two like that, 10, 11 years in and dip out,
Starting point is 00:41:40 That's he leave. 208 he's leaving, bro. I'm automatically Hall of Fame. Y'all got to put me in there. He's all right now. He's one of the best sinners ever to play the game today. 2028. It ain't nothing else to do.
Starting point is 00:41:50 For sure. Also, we forgot this. We got to show my man's a little Travis Hunter, man. Verify a bucket. You get an offensive player and if he's a player of the week is fire. Yeah. Historic stuff. Legendary two-way player, bro.
Starting point is 00:42:00 That's hard. That's fire, man. Now, a lot of people have been catching flag for him saying, you know, once he gets to the NFL that he's not going to be able to do both of those things. He's definitely not. I think he has to be a special type player, like a special package of a role. He cannot consistently play both. No, that's not realistic in the way.
Starting point is 00:42:17 Not every down like he do now. He might have a package where he play offense. But. And that's normal. Yeah. That's normal for those type of athletes, so I get it. Yeah, but that's a lot to ask. Everybody, he's young.
Starting point is 00:42:28 He could do it for a couple of years. No, that's ridiculous. In the NFL, they're not going to risk him getting murder as a number one pick playing both sides of the... He's not even highism. He didn't stamp his husband. It's over. I'm still going with Boy from Boise State. No, bro.
Starting point is 00:42:40 He's nice. I think you got to look a little bit further down for this Hoseman conversation just because some of them, them tougher games get here and those really be the side of factors. They take everything in accounting and getting those awards, too.
Starting point is 00:42:50 It ain't just off the stats. Team accomplishment, they definitely look into that as well. And I got to give Colorado their respect, but I always hate on Colorado, man, they've been... Six and two, baby, Bow-Bound. They're doing their thing, bro.
Starting point is 00:43:00 They're doing their thing. I respect. I ain't a fan. I don't know. See, how a nigga's so love, man. I'm gonna just get Colorado. They respect, you know what I mean? See, some, don't say it at all, bro.
Starting point is 00:43:13 That energy's trash, bro. Say it what real? Yeah, that's not authentic, bro. They conference is ass. I don't know, bro. Talk about them. How you talk about the books, bro? Turn up.
Starting point is 00:43:21 Put a little face in your voice, bro. They don't play nobody. That's the real. They don't play nobody. Mike didn't adjust his mic or nothing. If they played somebody, they play somebody. They play somebody.
Starting point is 00:43:33 It's crazy. They played the top 10 team yet. Uh-oh. It's fine, bro. We don't need to, bro. We got the best quarterback and the best How you're the best You ain't winning against somebody

Starting point is 00:46:03 It's okay. He ain't got internet like young thugs said. Hey, man, Michael will assume it's the Yankees fan, Austin, Capricano yesterday. From trying to take the ball from Wookiee Betts and the foul ball, you are out of pocket. That man tried to take the glove off of this man because he caught the foul ball, bro. I need that. Starting point is 00:46:36 risk, man. And then them $1,500 tickets that he had. Now he's kicked out. Bro, that's tough. Excuse me? That was $8,000? I thought it was $1,500 per game for that. Oh, he's, excuse me, $8,000. So he was right there on the Jesus Christ. He said, I'm leaving here with something. Disil voice. Now, now that I know he paid eight, I thought it was 15.
