Either way, the podcast's superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.

Hey.
And we have been joined at the hips since high school.
Absolutely.
A redacted amount of years later, we're still joined at the hip.
Just a little bit bigger hips.
This is a podcast.
We're recording it as we tailgate our youth soccer games in the back of my Honda Odyssey.
all the snacks and drinks.
Why did you get hard seltzer instead of beer?
They hit a bogo.
Well, then you got them.
Listen to soccer moms on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
The Volume.
Good morning.
Happy Fridays, 520 in the morning.
We're here to keep you up today and everything in the sports world, especially basketball.
My name is DJ Wells.
I'm the host.
I got my team co-hosts up here with me this morning.
To my left, I got Bishop Henders to my right.
I got tea.
Fellas, how y'all doing this morning?
Chilling, bro.
Let's get to it.
All my life, I just wanted to get munch.
We ain't recorded on the Friday.
Yeah, this is a different type of morning story.
Your facts, bro.
But listen, man, Thursday night football was crazy last night.
Bengals versus Ravens.
Always a good game.
Divisional game.
Man, 34, 35, almost went to OT thriller, man.
Did you guys the game last night?
Yeah, just bits and pieces of it, though.
A little bit of it.
You know what I mean?
I'm a fan of Jamar Chase, Burrow, Lamar Jackson.
Derek Henry.
So it was a good game, entertaining game.
Listen, man, Ravens got another dub.
And in due fashion, they always come back, man.
At one point, this game was 21 to 7 in favor of the Bengals.
They came back and made it 28 to 21.
Seasaw game, crazy game.
Everybody was getting to it yesterday.
First and foremost, man, I got shows in love Joe Burrow.
I always very critical of Joe Burrow on the show
because I think he slides when the other quarterbacks get a lot of flag.
But yesterday, he did this thing.
He had four TDs.
Three of them was to Jamar Chase.
Jamar Chase is one of those guys.
He's one of those Randy Malls.
Hall of Fame type of receivers that we always talk about.
For real, bro, he's a talent.
I mean, like he said, I'm always open.
All the talented receivers say that.
11 catches for 264 yards and 3 TD.
I'm like that.
No, he's cold.
I just didn't know he was going to say Randy Moss is crazy.
I mean, he's one of them talents.
He's going to be a Hall of Fame.
Put him in the upper echel line.
I don't think so?
I respect it.
Now, he's going to be a Hall of Famer,
but this Randy is kind of like,
you got to treat Randy Moss like you treat Jordan,
Tom Brady.
like you know, you don't kind of mention, you know, too many people with them.
We hear right now, Randy the goat, wide receiver or your goat.
I mean, Randy Moss is my favorite football player.
Okay, I mean.
That boy got so many of them.
Nah, he is my favorite football player.
That's a jersey I got.
You seen we got football jerks from Mitchell and that shout to the family.
I got Randy Moss.
You got Julius Pepper.
No, Lawrence Taylor is my favorite football player a lot of time.
I see the video he sent me the wrestler.
What's his name?
Cocaine?
This fool seems to be a video of a wrestler doing a coach.
He said he just put out of eight ball.
That was his finishing move.
Hey, I'm just saying.
The Coke slam.
That wrestler shit is the joke, bro.
Anyways, man, y'all crazy.
Listen, man, they had a hell of a game plan,
but not to skip too fast forward because Lamar Jackson did what he does,
you know what I'm saying,
290, three tuts.
Now, excuse me, Fort Hood.
Now, my question is, you know,
enter the game,
Jamar Chase, five-yard pass,
you know what I'm saying,
to put them in a position
to see if they can go ahead and get that.
They go for the two-point to win,
and he don't get the ball.
And if you look at the coverage,
people say, you know,
they would have been tough
for him to get it to him.
But at the same time,
you know, at the end of the game,
you're at your best players.
How do you counteract that?
I know from a basketball standpoint,
but from a coaching standpoint,
was burrow out of pocket
for not trying to get him the ball?
I mean, sometimes you got to be a decoy.
I think everybody in the arena,
the stadium, everybody watching across the world,
knew the ball's going to Jamar Chase.
I mean, he's been killing the whole game.
They just scored a touchdown, going to him,
two-point conversion.
You probably think they're going to Jamar Chase.
They probably try to use him as a decoy.
And it didn't plan out, but like he said,
he's always open.
Always open.
But it's funny that you said it because we talk about the decoy situation.
I know it's not close enough in the same example,
but you see what happened with Super Bowl,
Marchion, didn't get it.
You know, that was cool.
Same thing, though.
That was foolish.
I mean, different times, of course, but.
more important ways, of course, of the situation.
Give me the pill, bro.
Give me the pill.
Take me, like, trying to catch the ball over, you know,
whoever he threw it to.
But I'm killing, bro.
Feed the high hand.
I guess my question is, I mean, in a result,
you didn't get it, obviously.
Would they have felt better if it was even forced to him
to try to make the play?
I mean, I understand.
Like, if they went after him and was like,
well, he's been killing all the game and they did it.
It wouldn't have been a problem.
I mean.
Y'all said anyway.
I mean, it really would have been a problem.
If he would have tried to force it to him,
yeah, it wouldn't have been a problem unless somebody else was
wild, wide, wide open.
Then they would have said something about the fact that nobody was open
and he didn't go to him, now it's a problem.
Yeah, it's all the intricacies of the blame game when you lose
because obviously if Burrow made their call and that convert,
then it's a whole totally different conversation with the W for sure.
But hell over game at Thursday night football,
I came a long way because we've been getting a lot of mid-matchups,
but we're getting back to the basketball world.
Listen, we never record on a Friday,
so we're going to break down some teams,
First things first, man.
Let's start with the Los Angeles Lakers, man.
They had a high start, three and no,
and now they are losing.
They have lost three of the last four.
Early in the season, I know it ain't 10 games in,
but who we blame it?
You know, this is LeBron James' team,
so the blame will come out early.
Well, we got to start with,
I'm not going to put any blame,
but JJ Reddy came out and said the other day
that you got to play like the old man
and basically kind of alienating Brown.
Like, he's playing great.
He's playing great in that game.
and kind of like telling everybody else to pick it up.
I don't think that's the way to go about it.
We all know Brian great.
That's some big shoes to feel for everybody trying to be like Brian.
He's been playing great this year.
But obviously he's been switching the lineups.
He's been doing all kinds of stuff.
Kim Reddish and came in the game.
Now he's in the rotation.
Connect started starting at one point.
I don't know what's going on with the Lakers.
I guess they're trying to find the identity again.
But you got to start with JJ Reddick, I guess.
Most definitely.
through a couple options and y'all let me know how y'all feel about let's start with the bench like you said
there's been a lot of different combinations some of the certainies in the lineup but as a solidarity standpoint
I don't think the bench has been as productive they probably would have liked with these young pieces
um is that something they need to upgrade or even can they afford to upgrade that
yeah get rid of delo man get rid of deal let's see when delos shot that corner three
air ball okay j j j j jrida reddy they got tipped pause but j j jr reddy face was crazy
jay was pissed it's time to go
go, bro.
Yeah, I mean, he hasn't had a good tenure with the Lakers.
Yeah, it's time to go, bro.
Yeah, but then we also have the same conversation with, like,
when it comes to playing with O'Brien, okay, what point guard do you put next to him?
You got to have somebody who don't give a damn.
Like, you can't have anybody who cares.
I don't think Delo cares, but I don't think he got the credentials.
Style of play.
Yeah, and the, like, the, I'm not going to say the clout,
but the clout to be like, I don't give a damn with the brimps.
Brian talking about.
Yeah.
Like, Kyrie had the cloud
credentials to be like,
yeah, I don't give a fuck.
And Brian respected Kyrie game so much
that he would let him be him.
Yeah.
I don't know if he respect Delo game that much.
Like sometimes when Delo shoot,
if you watch the game
or some of the shots he'd take,
Brian'd be like,
he started doing that shit.
He would never do that with Kyrie.
I think he truly believed
Kyrie can make all those shots.
Sometimes I don't believe
he think Delo can make those.
I don't 100% agree.
Even in this our situation
with Rudy early on in the game,
like I'm on a heater.
right now, like swing that shit.
Yeah, yeah.
You can tell he's like, all right, I rock with y'all, but y'all ain't got the
accomplishment.
So I don't trust y'all enough to really just be doing what y'all want to be doing out here.
That's the fact.
He only really trusts AD and probably Brownie.
For sure.
But I got to ask, is that because, you know what I'm saying?
Obviously, with him being tenured for so long, he comes from the old NBA where everybody
can't just do that.
But nowadays, you got people coming off the bench, six, seven, eight men.
They might get up six or seven threes.
And that just be the office for the night.
Yeah.
You can tell how much he trusts like Austin Reeves.
Yeah.
For some reason he fuck with Austin Reed.
I mean, Austin Reed's a good player.
He co.
But I think he believes, like, he can make that shot or he can do that.
It's something that he does in practice or the work he put in to make Brom.
Like, yeah, I fuck with that.
But some of the other guys, he ain't, I don't know if he's rocking with all that.
Or at some point, bro, just say fuck it and start putting the confidence of your players, bro.
You too old to be paling, bro.
Be Lo going to shoot his shot.
Be Lo going to shoot his shots, bro.
You know he's going to tweak out.
but they say we got the next one
or instead of just tripping out of time.
I don't like that part about Brian.
I agree.
And I think this another thing is, like you said,
if you're not going to be able to move nobody,
this is who you stuck with.
So at this point, yeah, you know what it is.
You're trying to win, bro.
Just lock in.
But what are they,
you think there, I mean,
obviously we know LeBron's on,
but do you think that the Lakers are a contender in the West?
I never did.
A team to contend in the West.
I never did.
They come to Puerto Rico with us.
One, two, three.
You're saying, while we hooping, though, let's make the best of it, bro.
Who getting the flights, bro?
It's too long, bro.
I ain't got it.
Jeannie Buss.
I never like the Lichens.
I never liked the Limes.
I never liked their team, man.
I don't like this way of set up.
I don't like DeAngelo Russell with that team.
Rui is a good player.
I like him on that team,
but I don't like him as a focal point,
like a starter.
I like him coming off the bench getting buckets.
They just need some more solid role players.
Maybe some more veterans or I don't know.
I don't like the Lakers.
I ain't going to lie.
It's a weird.
roster because even you look at from a defensive standpoint, you got AD who could possibly be a DPO I can every year, but right now they're 28.
LeBron is not actually expected to be playing real defense at 65 years old.
So you have to wings like Cam Brady, so you expect to come off the pitch of the play defense.
He didn't did much when I didn't see Jerry Vandervale yet.
So it's like, okay, the things that were identified as that made y'all successful, you don't have that, and you have pieces that just seem satisfied about.
What do they do?
They just don't have no solid, no solid role players.
I mean, Austin Reeds is a good player.
Cam Reddish, we all want so much more
from Ken Reddish. We all think he could be really good,
but it's that potential thing.
And I think he didn't rent out of potential.
I mean, you got to start delivering.
But, I mean, a good defender,
but offensively, he gives you nothing right now.
Yeah, even with players like Gabe,
Vince today expected to come there and be able to shoot three
at a high volume.
It hasn't quite worked out the way.
I told you. I'm sleeping on gay.
Bring Brony up, man.
Told you.
Bernie is in South Bay.
I mean, for now, but he's suing up when they play Philly.
Like, we did this.
We're playing JV.
in varsity.
Like Max Christie.
Two quarters, JV.
Three quarters,
varsity.
It's like,
Bronny got the measure restriction
for JV is crazy.
Like Max Christie, though,
like,
he got paid.
You know what I mean?
We talked about him
and getting some money
and I just don't see it.
I ain't hate you, man.
I just don't see it.
I wasn't hate it.
I just knew I'm like,
it's not wrong playing Bronny, bro.
We're a rebuilding team, bro.
Let the show begin, bro.
Yeah, bro.
I'm all lit on the Bronny.
Play Bronny, bro.
You're right.
Bro, like, seriously.
Man, if they start playing Ronnie for real, for real, bro, free LeBron.
No.
I'm not trying to chance, bro.
Free LeBron.
We're sad.
We're sad.
We are sad for real.
We are sad with two superstars.
LeBron should I be at the end of his career, bro,
playing for this type of play, bro.
Why, bro?
You asked him to come here.
Let's keep it real.
You asked for your son to come here.
Too shy?
Yeah.
All the, so let's play it out.
Let's rock out.
Y'all, y'all are the weak team of the league,
for sure.
Because to me, to have two super
superstars is, I don't know, bro.
Y'all should be kicking ass, bro.
At that caliber, you should be kicking ass.
Y'all not even going to be a top five C in the West.
Nah, I mean, but they help, they surround and help, man.
That does matter, bro.
They're not.
That shit matters, bro, but they're good enough, bro.
I don't know.
Hey, you know, it's funny.
It was just like, what if we get to a point where they,
LeBrogne got to do, Barney, like, he do area of the point guard
played with and get him traded.
He hear Bronnie drafted
And then trade
Bronnie, that'd be the crazy
I'm going to pause up
No, let me get some
Tick before you trade me though
What, they probably can't trade nobody
Because everybody's going to ask for
Bronny in the trade
You know what I mean?
We're trying to get rid of D-Lo
We'll put Brony in there
We'll take D-Loh
For sure
So they're going to be
Yeah, they're going to be stuck with D-Lo
We're going to get brought anyway
How many years is on D-Lo contract
Do y'all know?
Like two?
Getting him out of there though, man
Not off-hand.
I need to go.
I think he only had
have one, if I'm correct, because I think he had a one plus one.
He's a good player, man.
He just got to go somewhere else, man.
The Lakers ain't for him, man.
Like, Lakers need, like, Dame Lillard.
I mean, I know I'm, like, going crazy.
Like, that's a lot of money to get Damed.
But Dane, Brian will respect Dane.
You already seen him.
He's like, if I had a Dame Lillard, you know what I do?
Yeah, so if he had, like, a player like Dame or something,
then he would be willing to, like,
oh, you can shoot that shot.
I know you can make it.
You a Hall of Fame.
He had more respect.
You see how he treated Rondo and those there.
Oh, yeah.
Awesome in respect.
Yeah.
That makes sense, though.
They need a point guard like that.
I don't know if there's any more of those in the league,
but just somebody that can facilitate, man.
Delo trying to score 20, y'all.
That's what he's trying to do.
He don't care about winning, bro.
Yeah.
And last knowledge, if we get out of here,
JJ Reddy, you said it's coaching the FA
and all he's still mowing it out.
Do you think there's something he could do differently
to kind of help with this team?
Or does it think that the relationship with him
and Deelow need to change?
Because if they're going to be stuck with D.Lo, they've got to figure it out.
But I feel like if he's doing that, that could be a confident situation again.
Or an unbelief situation.
If your coach don't believe you and Brian don't leave with you, and you're still stuck here,
now you ain't getting nothing out of them.
It's just, I think JJ is super competitive.
And, you know, as a first year coach, I mean, my first year coach in high school,
you are so competitive and you know how you will handle things.
You know how you will compete.
And then when you see somebody has that, like, they have that same talent level
or even more athleticism or whatever.
And you're like, man, you should use it differently.
you compete like this and they don't.
It's a little frustrating, so I think he's learning that now.
Like, shit, if you had the heart I had,
it's probably what he's saying in his head.
If you play, like, all the talent and skill you have,
you have my heart, you'll be great, but it don't work like that.
For sure, makes sense.
Speaking of great coaching, man,
the Cavalier is not an old best start in franchise history.
Are they the best team of the East?
I guess for now.
The Cavs, the best team in the East right now, yes.
overall it's to be determined.
I'm just happy the way they play.
I enjoy watching Kenny coach that group.
It's a good group.
I don't know if they're the best team in the Eastern.
Okay, okay.
First of the Warriors.
You know what I'm saying?
Warriors 71 tied in the first of the West with your sons, man.
Okay, C.
Are they the best team in the West?
The Warriors?
Of course not.
They are the Tim Tebow, the league right now.
Why?
You're going to put Tim Tebow smoke with Steph Curry Point Guard on that team.
So disrespectful.
No, yes.
Because 18, they're not winning a trace.
You know, we love you nasty, but you can come to Puerto Rico, too.
It's over with.
Where are y'all staying there?
That's a big.
It's 82.
We can get an Airbnb somewhere.
It's 82 games in the season, bro.
We're on game eight.
I'm not putting the Warriors nowhere near in the top five seed in the West, bro.
No, the Warriors are going to be a top five seed in the West.
I mean, it's a big game tonight.
Very big game.
That's rare for us to say that the Cavs and, or,
The Cavs and Warriors
is a big game
in these last couple of years.
I mean,
they both been.
I mean,
the Cavs been good,
but the Warriors been,
I guess,
okay.
Yeah.
So for them to be back
at the top,
like the old days
with Bronn and Steph
going at it to have
the calves and the Warriors
being a big game,
that's pretty dope.
And what's crazy
during that time period,
I mean,
even though a lot of people
started seeing LeBron
in the finals
and kind of not breaking up,
but they had some classic battles.
Like,
even if you go to the holiday games,
like that Christmas game
where you first came
is one of the craziest
holidays of all time.
Yeah.
The Cavs and the Warriors got a dope history.
But it's a new regime.
I mean, new coaches.
Kenny used to being on the Warrior staff last year for him to be having a success he's having right now.
I bet it's probably a good feeling for Steve Kerr and everybody else with the Warriors, too, though.
So, you y'all got winning that game, man.

He's the writer-director.
Who do you think he is?
I don't know.
You meet the, like, the president?
You think Canada has a president.
You think China has a president?
Those law a rouset.
God, I love that thing.
I use it all the time.
I wrap it in a blanket and sing to it at night.
It's like the old Polish saying,
Not my monkeys, not my circus.
Yep.
It was a good one.
It is an actual Polish saying.
It is an actual Polish saying.
Better version of Play Stupid Games, win stupid prizes.
Yes.
Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift, who said that for the first time.
I actually thought it was.
I got that wrong.

This is Saigon, the story of my family and of the country that shaped us.
The United States will not stand by and allow any power, however great, take over another country.
From My Heart Podcasts, Saigon.
Please allow me to introduce Joseph Sherman.
You don't think I'm serious about a free Vietnam?
I should stop talking so much.
I like hearing you talk.
One city, a divided country, and the war that tore America apart.
This is for Vietnam.
I've taken a hit from Japanese ground fire.
Do you rate me?
They're pouring petrol all over him.
He's holding matches.
I'm on a landmine
Or freeze on.
Let's get out.
Freedom, mom, man.
Run!
Saigon, starring Kelly Marie Tran and Rob Benedict.
Sting, here's madness.
The world should hear about this.
There's a fire coming to this country,
and it's going to burn out everything.
Listen to Saigon on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
I'm rolling one stretching now.
You may stretch?
I ain't a lot.
Okay, we'll get their friends.
First loss, man.
I got the Warriors.
I'm taking stretching them.
I'm stretching a company, bro.
That's crazy.
Why you call them?
Why are you coming?
It's funny.
Because the game I used to play when I play video games,
bro.
NBA Streets, bro.
Everybody's talking about they want you to play 2K,
man.
They want me teach you how to play 2K.
Yeah, I got to set up the streaming room
so I can get on, bro.
I got a bunch of supporters,
they want me to stream.
We got to go to tag me.
You know what's crazy.
I made your bill last night, Paul.
I made a
Pontist, point guard
with no athleticism
High pass, good defense
You know who your bill was?
Khalid Helene
I'm gonna kill you
Matine Cleves Khalid Elamine
Yeah, they was on Twitter
calling you Raymond Felton
That's what they was on
Somebody said Oliver Miller were headdums
No, everybody on my
Twitter though was telling me like, bro,
you should start streaming
for real.
I think, you know, your platform will go up.
Yeah, he out of pocket.
I'm on you, you know.
I tap it for him.
We're going to start go for me from VC.
We'll tap it for real.
I know it's still early, but right now,
Donovan missing, Darry's Guard, best doing on the league.
Oh.
That's a good argument, though.
Shout to Lou Will.
You know what I'm saying?
Oh, Lou said that.
Yeah.
Right now, man, they're most,
I probably say they're the best duo right now.
They're playing the best.
I mean, team rolling.
I mean, but I still like the honest.
game, even though they're not winning.
Both of them are producer.
Most definitely.
So I don't know if they're the best duo, but
they're winning, so.
Hmm. I give it to them right now,
for sure. I have to think on it, but yeah,
so far as how they plan and got their team
rocking, they got it for sure.
Then who's the second best?
I mean, I still think the first is
J.B. and J.T. right now.
Okay. Yeah, I still got
respect. Hello, J.B. been out, but, I mean, I saw
what they did when they were together. Yeah, yeah.
I got to respect it. That's a good call.
It's still ugly right now. But I got to commit what they're doing, because
the Cavs won the close games
that they were losing last year.
For sure.
So you got to show some love there too.
But obviously, I think it's just
early season luck, you know what I'm thinking?
You feel like this is something
that could sustain the whole year.
I ain't saying they got to be number one at the east,
but do you think they could finish top three possibly?
That'd be okay.
That's my favorite duo is, you know, Shaq and Kobe.
That's the worst.
Who is that?
The worst duo.
They are.
My boys figured it out.
We're five and three, baby.
The worst duo.
We figured it out.
You want to bet on when we play the calves?
Yeah.
Who was in the calves?
100.
100 apiece?
I got the cast.
For sure.
You got the calves rest of the middle.
Donovan Mitchell better than A.
Oh, say that again?
Donovan Mitchell better than A.
That's why he laughing.
That's why he laughing.
I'm rolling with dime, man.
That's sweet tea and a double cup got in Guilla today.
That's the NCG Cup.
If I'm going down from this, I probably would have been creed, maybe.
So, y'all, it's on wax.
No, Rihanna.
It's on wax.
The Warriors, I mean, the wolves.
versus calves.
I got down to this.
Luis.
You just,
Hey,
I ain't never seen
A E.
he'd go for 45 in the bubble.
Man,
stop, bro.
We ain't playing the bubble.
I ain't seen a different bubble in 2020.
Fuck you talking about.
A bubble caprice,
man.
He's in a different bubble.
He ain't left the bubble.
He was cracking shit in COVID.
I ain't stopped.
Listen,
send a video.
This ain't
5.20.
My bad.
Hey, it's Friday.
Bonus.
episode because we love y'all.
Nah, for real, though.
Hey, low-key, Donovan Mitchell
just as good as A.E., bro.
Sleep, bro.
Sleep.
They not?
I'm sleepy.
It's wicked.
What he don't do that?
I like the conversation.
What did A.E don't, I mean,
what A.E. do better than Donovan Mitchell?
I think the A is a better defender than
Donald McChallel.
And he's more explosive.
What?
Ooh, that's tough.
That's tough, bro.
Ooh, that's tough.
The body bags that Ed has racked up
in his short amount of time in the NBA,
bro, is different, bro.
is different, bro.
When Anthony Edwards go to the paint,
it's not the same.
Early Utah Jazz, Donovan Mitchell, of course.
Done contest.
But he's more, he's more relaxed score now, bro.
He ain't.
He ain't punching it like that no more, bro.
Donovan Mitchell's getting just as much bucket as AE.
A.E. just talk, and he's more likable.
He got more swag, more likable.
Sound like a better 2K bill to me?
Nah, Donovan Mitchell, just like a 2K put.
I mean, you know, just get his bidding and done here.
don't talk much.
He just be chilling.
Get into it.
You know, he grew up a little different.
Okay, like on the Jamie Fox show.
It was two stars on there, bro.
Braxton and James.
Nah, you're not going to do my man diving like that.
Diamond Mitchell is Braxton Hardin.
Oh, like that.
Uh-oh.
Braxton Pete Hardingberg is Diamond Mitchell.
I can't see that for him.
Anthony Edwards.
The fact that guy got to zoom in so he can see like this is crazy.
Maybe I wear glasses.
What are we doing?
So he average 31 or what's that?
24 and 23.
Come on, man,
what are we talking about career stats?
I'm telling you,
I know basketball, bro.
I mean, you played it.
I'm just saying,
it just looked.
It just looked good,
has Donovan ever made it
to let his team
to the Eastern Conference
or Western Conference finals?
I don't know if they make –
They had some good teams, though.
Utah had some good years.
Shout to Brigham Young.
I mean, shit, if I had a Rudy Goe Bear.
Shout to Brandon Davies.
If I had a Rudy Go Bear,
a cat.
Shout out of the catch, too.
A cat.
A Mike.
Riley, he did have him.
He ain't had a cat, though.
He had a cat.
He didn't have Rudy go.
He didn't have Rudy go bear a bite
Conley.
He didn't have cat.
King.
And they was trash,
bro.
They weren't trash, bro.
They just blew it at a fleeting against the nuggets.
They ain't have cat, bro.
No, listen.
Why the Warriors?
The Donald Mitchell had cat now, bro.
Why the Minnesota Terwill
was so good last year, bro,
is because I told you all,
Anthony Edwards got that job
around effect, bro, to his team.
I'm not saying he matters.
I say he more likable, but I'm just saying
as I'm definitely more as a basketball player.
Hold on, girl, I call you bet.
That's what I'm saying.
Syria always.
She meddling.
Like I was saying
when they come to them as individual players, bro.
Donovan Mitchell shoot way better at Edwards.
He just has explosives.
No, not no more.
Donovan is, bro.
He gets a shit up where he ain't...
He gets your niggas.
I ain't see...
I love AE game, but I ain't seen A.E.
had that back and forth, like, Murray and Donovan Mitchell had...
The back and fourth?
Nah, I ain't seen that yet.
Bro, stop playing so much, bro.
Not to that level, but he went to that KD, but just not to that level.
It was mono and minor like that.
But that was a legendary matchup between them, too, for sure.
That was one of the best things we ever seen on TV, bro.
Come on, bro.
That wasn't?
It was good for the sport, bro.
Yeah.
That was every day.
We look at the stats right now.
He average 23 years, he average.
He average 24.
Listen, bro.
Dang her 25.
He been in the league.
And he was the number one pick.
That's what make it worse.
That's your team.
He was a 13th pick.
So what?
You still a lottery?
Yeah, but that ain't your team.
I went number one for a reason, though.
Don't sleep.
I came in number one and I was that nigga.
You were.
What was you talking about?
But he is, too, I guess.
I told you, it's Jamie Fox.
You got Braxton Pete Hornabrig.
I love Braxton.
One of the funniest motherfuckers on that show.
But Jackson is the star
I shoot the three better than you
I shoot from the field better than you
And my free throw is higher than you
My aspect of the field
Go ahead and it's higher than yours
Which field do you shoot?
Own it off.
What are you talking about?
You're just from Atlanta, bro.
You're from Atlanta.
Listen, we're going to let shot
Are you about the future,
bro.
It's going to be a funny, real
if they ever make it this.
But I want to move on from this subject
and want to ask y'all,
is there any offseason trades
that, you know what's looking at
early in the season,
any teams that miss,
like made some teams
who should have made some additions
that didn't or that made the wrong ones.
He's looking here like maybe with the heat
talking about Jimmy Butler, you know,
talking about Giannis possibly moving on.
Is there any trades I see early on happening?
There were some teams that y'all feel like should have got more work
done in the off season.
Yeah, I'm pissed.
PJ Tucker's still not in the NBA, bro.
Okay.
Shout to pee, man.
He's supposed to be on my burnout crash out bets every night.
So I don't know when the deadline is when you got to pick up or fuck up.
But PJ, I got you.
We're going to pull up you on this.
So draft King's going to make sure he get on the team
Just like he had a ballad.
Come on, bro.
It's crazy.
Go to the Lakers.
They're sad, bro.
You want to fix a Lakers with PJ Tucker?
Come on, man.
Kim Reddy sending him to this.
I love people.
He don't fit the script,
what they need,
bro.
He don't fit the script.
They don't need a three of D.
You crazy.
They don't need D.
Pause.
The three?
I don't know if he shoot him no more, man.
He's corner three specials.
They don't got nobody sitting the corner, bro.
Yeah, they don't.
Yeah, they do.
No, they don't, bro.
They need a PJ.
You need a PJ?
Okay, so outside of PJ, anybody else?
I don't care about nobody else.
Y'all got it.
I mean, it's still early.
I think Jimmy Butler and them can get rolling.
But I don't really watch the heat too much,
but I ain't excited.
I seen the other day he could have shot a three
was confused a little bit.
I don't know.
I don't really watch.
I sure to use somebody.
Well, yeah, we definitely use a backup big
looking at Jail McGee
because every other backup we have at the 4-5
has unfortunately heard of Achilles, which is crazy.
But Jerez Walker been hoping for y'all, man.
Hey, listen, man, I'm happy that he's got out of the Florida season.
He's showing that he's, you know, the potential is there.
Him and Benedict Mathron, we didn't add much in the off-season,
but them coming back as contributors is definitely what we need it.
I still think that the rotation needs to get sold up,
but, yeah, I'm happy with them too much.
I don't know how we always give on the Pacers.
You know why.
I don't know why I hate the Pacers.
I used to play for the Pacers.
In fact, I'm a Pacer fan now.
Now, we could.
Utah.
Yeah, we could.
How was the best point guard your had?
You had a point guard like me ever since.
You were Jamal Tinsley.
Tyrese has got more freedom.
Oh, that's hate.
That's hate.
I can miss, too.
That's definitely hate.
Who was the point guard with Victor Oladipo was there?
Y'all remember.
Who was there?
What was there?
Darren Collinson.
Yeah, in college.
Yeah.
09 drive.
That's crazy.
I forgot about that team.
He was a good gore for the patience.
Yeah, he did play good.
Definitely.
Always a consummate professional.
I want to ask about Utah
because obviously,
they didn't a couple of last few things.
Who put that micke?
Freaky Mickey.
Freaky Mickey in the morning show?
That's his name of the morning show.
It's crazy.
Screw fell out.
It's all good.
You know.
Walker Kessler, do you feel like he's going to move on from the Jazz?
I'll be seeing him in college section
a lot of trade rumors.
Obviously with the Lakers,
they put anybody in there.
But I feel like he's a big that can move around.
that could definitely help some teams.
I know, again, it's still early, but...
He's a good defender, good rim protector, capable of big.
I mean, he would be good for the Pacers, honestly, right now.
Pull up.
But for the Lakers, I don't know, Lakers need everything.
Yeah, like you're saying.
They really do.
They actually need Colin Sexton.
He would be a great fit for the team.
Yeah, they actually do need Colin Sexton.
He don't give a, you know...
Yeah, and I think he got the scoring potential off the bench that they need
because they have no bench scoring.
Yeah.
And I think that somebody they might need for real.
And from a defensive standpoint here, definitely will, you know what I'm saying?
He'll get an effort.
Yeah, he'd get an effort.
For sure.
All right, are you going Warriors with the win or Cavs?
No, I told you, man.
I'm going to Cab.
I'm going to Gary Maher.
Shout to the Bible.
Another fire game, Sons and Mavs.
Top of one in the East right now.
He spoke highly about the Suns, man.
Who signed for the one in the East?
You mean West?
Oh, West, excuse me.
Yeah, I like the correct shit.
I was in the correct, excuse me.
West for Comps, my apologies.
Mavs sitting at fifth right now.
What's up, man?
I'm not a math.
I like the Mavs, but, you know, Kyle, I'm an anti-athlete, so we got to get, we got to get rolling right now.
You said anti-or-an-a?
Anta.
You know what I mean?
You seen my collection.
I got to go get them.
And they got one pair of the moccasins.
I got three.
I got three.
I got three. Don't disrespect the trial.
Which is your tribe?
Me and Kyle.
Reddada feather.
Be careful throwing them outside.
you don't know nothing about.
Vi and Kai.
I'm like coming back to something else.
Luis,
slip it up.
I know what that,
me.
Y'all crazy.
But what y'all think about Clay Thompson so far on the maps?
He's just fitting in, bro.
He ain't doing nothing, bro.
He's solid, bro.
No, but he has up and down game.
Y'all know Clay is my guy, bro, but he has scored 20.
He every 14 and a half right now.
Then three, but it's up and down, though.
Like, he ain't, he ain't,
found his groove yet for real.
Look at the games game by game.
I'm telling y'all, it's up and down.
I mean, he's not going to be the Clay Thompson that we once seen with the Warriors.
But to be a spot-up shooter for them, I think he's doing all right.
He's 14 points, yeah.
He's a type of player in the playoffs, you need him to have at least two or three good games
that series.
No, I think he's going to, that's when he's going to kill.
Yeah, I think his experience and his reliability in the playoffs,
he's going to have them two or three games to give them just enough when they're having
a bad art to push them over the hump.
But the sons, man, the real bud.
The bud, bro.
I'm telling you.
The bus.
The butt effect.
Bro, I've been a part of one of them teams where you just get rolling.
Mm-hmm.
But he, you know, he puts you in the right position to be successful.
He's going to push all your buttons.
He had challenged you.
He's confrontational.
So I think, I mean, they found their groove right now.
For sure.
Who getting the dub tonight?
Sounds, baby.
I'm going with the sons.
I'm going to go with the math.
For some reason, Luca plays great against Devin Booker.
Yes, always.
He always turns up against Devin Booker.
And everything.
It's going to be one of them nights.
Hunter on that game?
It's a lot of a hundred.
What's money to anybody nowadays?
Oh, I don't speak that language.
I'm just saying, who cares?
I'm just saying respect.
Tax is about to go.
Let me stop.
Yeah, quit talking.
I ain't got the answer check.
About this one.
That's on wax.
Look, man, they just, hey, they just got nervous.
I'll tell you out later.
I'll tell you all on 520.
Oh.
Catch me on Monday.
I'll tell you out of real.
He's a tell a dick's pocket.
I'll tell you out of real.
Oh, that's crazy.
I'll tell you out of real
Monday
A draft keys to treat this well
man
The parley's been hit
The real crash on parlay
I'm telling you out of what he ain't
Yeah
It hit yesterday
That's on the close friends
Yeah
That's on
That's on the only fan
Fuckin'
It's crazy
The bobs when the LA fans
It's completely out of pocket
That's out of pocket
Oh yeah
That's what the bartender
It's what the bartender
Oh my God
I'm just playing
Oh he's a home for this
Okay
We're going to turn this goddamn
One to show up
Okay
Y'all going to think this is a motherfucker shot at night
He keep playing
All right
No man y'all crazy
I'm just saying because everybody
Everybody kept saying
People she need to be a staple
On the show
Yeah that's funny
And once a week
I get it
We're happy to Kiki tweet
Well y'all play two
Speaking of struggling teams
Amen to bucks man
I probably got a dub
13th of the east right now
They beat the jazz if that counts
But these four teams
See y'all feel like going to turn around quicker
You got the bucks of two and six
Seventy-sixers at one and six last
Knicks three and four
Six and the East and the Lakers
500 at 10 in the West
Yeah we got to
talk about these struggling teams, man.
Yeah, it's a lot of questions.
I want to start for the 76ers.
Tyrese Maxie, like you said, man.
And put too much workload on my boy.
Hampshire injuries.
It's supposed to be out a couple weeks.
Riley.
You called it, man.
You said he was doing too much.
You did say that.
And I said he wasn't doing enough.
He's still young, y'all.
But I really be why.
I like him.
So I watch him play.
Like, for real, but he plays super hard
because he's trying to over-conversate
for what they don't have
and what they're missing, bro.
So to see him go down
with a hamstring injury, bro, that's...
I hate that.
He was logging a lot of men's.
You said that, though.
Yeah, bro, you see?
I'm like, bro, I get it he young, y'all.
Y'all, y'all play him too hard, bro.
Give him a break, bro.
Put Eric Gordon in the game, bro.
So y'all think it's over for the 60s, man.
No, it's over, bro.
And losing him,
yeah.
PG, he back playing, but NB being out,
when NB come back, it's him and PG show.
Do y' y'all think that's a capable duo
to get them rolling?
I think for this team to be successful,
they need all of them hitting at all cylinders.
And I think there's injury with Tyrus Maxi
definitely pushes them back.
Also, when it be with the suspension,
him missing games, bro, we have to see.
I mean, I know what he can do,
but he got to get back in playing basketball.
So that might take another six, seven, eight, nine games.
Now what?
How long are you out with a handstring?
The handstring is tricky, man.
I ain't going to say it's the worst,
but that's one of them you can't really diagnose it.
So a couple weeks is crazy.
When you're on one place,
if you say your handstring,
hamstring hurt, but because you can't diagnose it.
You can't tell somebody how the hamstring really feel.
But them is a tricky one, man, especially the way he plays so fast.
He could be feeling good.
He make a quick burst and he can reheard it again that fast.
So he might be out a month.
And the way that that team is designed, they need him.
He was the one part that they was like, okay, reliable.
Like, I know these other two dudes don't get hurt.
They're going to be low management.
But we expect him to play the whole season to carry us to get to a good seat.
Now your plan is all right.
So now I wonder at this team.
man, like, what do you start thinking?
Because at some point you got to figure out,
all right, is this season to watch?
Do you feel like next year
just running back?
I don't know.
I mean, I know it's early,
but they got some stuff.
They got to figure out.
That's a fact.
The Knicks.
I think we said Tom will tell with them,
but just another update,
how you feel about the Knicks?
You think, don't take a little bit more time
for them to figure out.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal,
but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's superhuman,
documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

He's the writer-director
Who do you think he is?
I don't know
You mean the like the president?
You think Canada has a president
You think China has a president
Those law crusade
God I love that thing
I use it all the time
I wrap it in a blanket
And sing to it at night
It's like the old Polish saying
Not my monkeys, not my circus
Yep
It was a good one
I like that snake
It's an actual Polish saying
It is an actual poll.
Better version of Play Stupid Games,
win Stupid Prizes.
Yes.
Which, by the way, wasn't Taylor Swift,
who said that for the first time.
I actually thought it was.
I got that wrong.

that shaped us.
The United States will not stand by
and allow any power, however great,
take over another country,
From My Heart Podcast, Saigon.
I'm on a landmine.
For free time.
Let's get out.
Freedom for Vietnam.
Run!
Saigon, starring Kelly Marie Tran and Rob Benedict.
Sting, here's madness.
The world should hear about this.
There's a fire coming to this country, and it's going to burn out everything.
Listen to Saigon on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Yeah, but I think they straight.
Yeah, they're going to be okay.
The third best team in the east is 500 right now.
So they're straight.
Indiana Pacers, you know what team he did.
They'll be all right.
I mean, I think they're going to have to catch a rhythm.
I think Jalen Brunson is not saying he having a bad year,
but he's just not himself right now.
Last year, every time I seen him play,
I was like J.B., J.B., J.B.,
now I'm starting to be like, J.B.,
he's kind of deferring a little bit to Kat,
and I understand he's trying to get him,
you know, build some camaraderie with him,
but, like, he got a hope, you know what I mean.
Is that one of those teams you feel like less could have been more?
For sure.
I always said that.
Like, when I said they had to trade J.R. Smith,
Julius Randall, they traded him,
but I knew they were going to go get Kat.
But I just love when everything is surrounding J.B.
He plays better.
They team believe in him.
The city believes in him.
And the city was behind him.
I mean, I don't know if they're really happy about Kat.
I mean, he's killing.
I know they like him.
But I think they like the vibes from last year.
I can see that.
I mean, we spoke about the bucks on his podcast.
But like we said,
is it one of the situations still for the same?
We need to wait for Chris Middleton.
Or I should phrase, can they wait for Chris Middleton?
When is he coming back, y'all?
That's a good question.
Has that been.
He hasn't been clear for five on five yet.
We got a couple weeks, man.
What do you have, ankle surgery, right?
Yeah, so it's a possibility he'll be out another couple of weeks.
Look what it take for them to win two games.
What do you think, being?
I think if you out, if you're out of east, you smooth.
It's early.
If you got, if it's going to take for you to wait for your other, you know,
peace to come, I thought y'all would be straight.
The East ain't powerful this year.
Now, if y'all was in the West, it might be a little wicked.
I mean, but it's like I said, it's 82 games, bro.
This is way too early to be, like the Lakers are trash, the Raptors are trash.
Who else?
Utah, trash.
But other teams that we predicted to be at least contenders is they'd be okay because they got the foundation of solid.
Most definitely.
Do you feel like Yonis is patient enough?
I guess that's the question.
He's cutting the fool over there.
Yeah, I'm going to say, because he's putting the pressure on it.
I know, like you said, it makes sense to wait until Chris Mills and get there.
But if he's going to keep putting a pressure on like that, and we know with his history, he's going to get somebody up out of that chair.
He just need to go back to what Jeff said.
like what he used to before he had out of the hype.
Just get back to the hoop.
It's hoop, bro.
He used to just put his head down a hoop.
And we ain't never hear from Yonis.
We ain't never hear from Yonis.
We just used to see that.
Yonis is killing MVP, MVP level every year.
He just put his head down a hoop.
And now, you know, when we hear about Yonis
in the media and stuff, I don't like it.
I like Yonis.
It's just hoop.
For sure.
Lapping, excuse me, recapping last night's games, T.
Wills beat the Bulls, 135, 119,
a, 3rd, and night, taking care of business.
Yeah, the parlay almost hit, man.
But you're taking for the 40 piece?
I had him for 30.
Okay, excuse me.
Okay.
He held his end up for the parlay for you.
He had his three-threes, too.
You know what I mean?
So, Chuck, you got your bet on that.
You know what I mean?
We came through, but that was a light win for us.
We could have took the night out for goodness to bulls.
For sure.
So it was AE, like, where do you put him in the rank of the top ten players right now?
Of all time?
Nah.
Hell not.
I'll keep it simple.
What do you feel like?
Who's the best two guard NBA?
Him.
I'm going with Donovan Mitchell right now.
And so far as top 10 players in the league right now,
I don't know, I'll give him six.
Well, I was going to ask you all this later,
but since we hear the MVP ladder,
you know what I'm saying earlier in the season.
At 10, you got Tyrese maxi, nine,
got Janice, eight, Luca,
seven, A.E, six, Kevin Durant,
five, Donovan Mitchell,
four, SGA, three, yoke,
two, Tatim, and number one,
Anthony Davis.
Yeah, that list could be mixed around.
I could be shuffled like Apple Music.
It's early, bro.
It's early.
Very, very.
I can't.
To say MVP, they played too many games.
Now, this was the, I ain't on no disrespect.
But, you know, the WNBA play less games than Jeff and them at Pike.
So if it was that, if it was that.
What's your problem with the W?
What they're scheduling?
What's up, bro?
Yeah, I want to get paid a trillion dollars, bro.
And y'all got a YM.
PY, Y, C schedule, bro.
And y'all play at 11 o'clock every day.
DJ, me and DJ went to go see the fever play, bro.
It was 1 p.m., bro.
We had to rest our date to ourselves, bro.
We go to our pace.
So you can't go on a date at the fever game.
Well, Kailen made it hot.
You better not go on a date.
You better not.
You better not.
You used to be a bad day.
You feel, you could take a freak there.
And so,
that's long gone.
But now you can't even take a girl with you, though,
because your girl might get swooped.
Yeah, she might because they're demons over there.
For real, Juana Man of them is OD over there.
You know what I mean?
Chaut to eat weeds still.
They ain't animals.
They had to lie with it, digger, on the front.
They ain't a motherfuckerucking 2,000 ravens.
What I said?
I see my...
Oh, B.
Right, Lord.
He wins.
He damned her.
Ray.
He's born with the pigs.
She married, man.
Oh, respect, Lord.
Shows, Aie, we're crazy.
Ah, the Bugs beat the Jazz
yesterday, $120 through to $100.
I don't even count if you beat the jazz,
but Dame Giannis, 30 balls apiece.
Listen, man, we said we're going to still figure it out.
Question is, is Dame still top 5 PG?
I mean, he's playing great this year.
That's not slight Dame at all.
I mean, his stats are crazy.
Yeah, he's 28 and 7.
He's definitely killing.
I mean, they just got to get some wins.
But top 5 PG for sure.
Oh, hell yeah.
But he just want to win.
He don't get his numbers.
That's life for him to get a bucket.
He's ready to win, though, at this stage, his career.
And I respect him a lot because they be asking him the same dumb questions in his interviews.
And he just like, I'm just hooping.
I don't know what more y'all want for me.
It ain't like I'm out here laying 15, 16, bad games.
I'm out here putting 30 and up in games without y'allness to.
put us in position to win.
I'm getting 40.
What more do you
want from this man?
I mean,
Dame 28 and something.
Come on, bro.
That's...
You back in Portland again.
That's MVP type numbers,
bro.
28 and 7, bro.
He's killing.
He's just not winning.
For sure.
Because if they was,
for real,
if they was 500,
he would be in an MVP
that list you just had.
He'd be up there.
Yeah, because he's killing,
bro.
He's killing.
Shout out to Dame dollar,
man.
Verified buckets being here.
Who was getting to her yesterday,
man?
Man, who is on a verified bucket
today?
Let's see.
Who was on the list, bro?
Before y'all do that,
they've been saying a lot
that they should blow the bucks up.
Do you feel that way?
I feel like if Yannis
ain't happy,
then you got to do
whatever you want to do
to keep him or you got to move it.
What would you do, B'Han?
You think they...
Yeah, get rid of him, bro.
Get rid of Yonis?
Yes, bro.
Where did he?
Where would you go?
Where would you go?
If you'd be here and playing GM.
Oh.
Yonis, go where you celebrate.
Now, where you tolerated.
He celebrated.
Milwaukee.
No, no, no, we're done with that.
Why, they let Tiago?
Yeah, Milwaukee is tremors.
We need to go to live.
That's like over-transit.
So, man, send him to go and stay.
Where he want to go, bro?
Let him go play with Clay, bro.
Clay?
I mean, I'm sorry, I'm Steph.
My fault.
So you would like to see Yon's in?
Yeah, I think that's where he wants to go.
So you give up Dremont?
Oh, for sure.
Dreamon.
They have to be one.
Except Draymond.
That's what you're going to North Carolina, bro.
Go to Charlotte, bro.
He should make that call, baby.
Now, don't sit my daughter.
Dremont need to go to Charlotte.
Yes.
Yon just need to go to Golden State.
For sure, bro.
Who Milwaukee get?
Trace, I'm sorry.
So, Trace is going to Milwaukee.
Yep.
Cominga.
Kowanga.
Yeah.
Kewanga.
Kowonga.
Kewanga.
That's crazy.
Kviga.
Who else we got over there?
Moody.
Most Moody,
definitely gone.
It's a smoothie gone, bro.
We need some more for yons.
About three first round picks.
No, no first round picks, bro.
Send about 30 million.
Just sit some cash.
A cash consideration.
I would love to see the historic number of the cash.
I don't even think you can sit that much.
I don't even think it's all this.
Cash considerations.
Yeah, no trade.
That's going to be a couple of them.
You said 30 million.
It's crazy.
For y'allis, bro.
This is not soccer.
No, bro.
Yonis is still peak.
bro.
You gotta cash out for Yonis,
bro.
When you offer that package,
they're going
two K with except that.
I don't think.
You got to trade
Whig.
Wig.
Moody.
You got to trade
that entire
line up and step,
Seth.
Yeah.
You're going to have
Buddy Hill,
Janus,
and Steph.
That's enough.
That's enough,
bro.
Steff and Yannis is cheating.
Yeah,
that would be
crazy.
Stephanie Yonis is cheap.
Now,
we can put some
role players.
If they had the Lakers
role players
with Steph,
Yonis.
But Dame is the same
person
as Steph.
No.
No, no, no.
And I love Dave.
How not?
What does, what do Steph, I mean, besides winning the championships,
but if you just go player for player, what do Steph do that damn?
See, this ain't fair to Dame.
Because being compared to the goat ain't really never fair of a ball.
That's the best person ever shoot basketball.
Even though Damon's second.
Literally, Damon's second.
But it's a difference between first and second.
I know, but it's not even that big of a difference.
No, bro, I can't do my dumb.
all dame like that, bro.
But that's not fair.
That's a terrible comparison, bro.
How?
I'm just, I'm different, bro.
I'm different.
I'm different, bro.
Steff is different than,
the step effect is different, bro.
Steph got people wearing underarmor shoes, bro.
A lot comes with me, bro.
People wear dame shoes.
No, people love dame shoes,
but I'm saying people are wearing steves, bro.
Underarmor people,
I've seen them motherfucker with a all-weller.
white pair of Steph Curry's on, bro,
in a regular outfit.
They had that out of pocket.
They was walking in the factory.
Before Jeff sold it.
They were out of pocket.
They're out of pocket, bro.
Is that breaking news?
I would say,
Steph,
he's been with a really good organization.
I mean, he had Kevin Duranza team at one point.
True, bro.
But he had Clay Thompson, also second best.
He also had Harris.
and Boren, Sean Livingston.
Them are nice players.
Great players, but what I'm saying.
Dane played with besides John and C.J. McCullough.
C.J. McCullough.
He's not Clay Thompson.
No, bro, I'm asleep.
He's not Kevin Dane.
Dane played one of my favorite
power force of all time on Marcus Alders,
bro. He played with him when he was a rookie.
Pure dog, bro. I'm just saying.
He didn't get enough years with him.
I just, I love Dame game.
And Dane, to me, can shoot the ball
like Steph Curry. I get that.
but the impact on the game is just different, bro.
K.D.
Or Lamarga, though.
Well, it's a no-brainer for that.
Okay.
C.J. McCullough.
I'm taking Clay just off.
But I ain't mad if somebody took C.J.
I'm a Clay family.
I like C.J. McCallard.
They got one of the best Midranger guys ever,
but you got Clay fucked up.
Yeah, Clay is.
I think people will take.
Some people will take C.J. McCullum over Clay.
Sean Livingston.
Steph Curry plays off the ball better than Dame Lewis.
I mean, it's probably a luxury.
The Dame didn't get paid to have.
He didn't get the play.
off the ball. I mean, that's not Steph Curry's fault, though,
but that's a difference. I'm saying,
that's a difference, bro. Who was
I do that better than you. I mean, I know we're taking
up time doing this, but who is Dane's
power forward that can play like Dremont?
I don't know. To be a
nobody. Nobody. He can play with nobody. Okay,
it's hard to be Crash Bender Coup in the NBA,
bro. Damn. I'm just
saying he was at a disavage. I feel
like if you replace Dame with
Steph, they probably still win
a championship with them teams. He played with
Katie and all them. They probably will still win the
championship.
And I'm not.
And I feel like if you put
Steph with that Portland team,
they probably get the same results that.
I just feel like Dame is more ball dominant
than Steph Curry, bro.
That's because he had to be.
In that system.
It had to be.
Right.
But in that system, I feel like
you got to be ball-dominated in Milwaukee,
bro.
I don't know.
Dame going around off screens and shit like that.
I'm saying he got to be.
Who's going to say anything?
Your point, your point I understand.
You're basically saying, you know, if the circumstances
is different, the talent is similar,
but in the same time, it's just like,
with all kings and sitter,
you still got to,
I still got to put Steph in that situation.
No, no, no, let's not get a twist.
I'm not hating on stuff.
We're talking about,
No, no, no, he's talking about,
some of the M.PGs.
Yeah, we're talking about top 75 players.
Yeah, we're talking about skill for skill.
We ain't, you know, all the accolade shit.
We're not doing that.
Yeah, I mean, they both top.
No, hell yeah.
No, hell yeah.
It's hard to say what Steph does better.
I just think Steph affects the game
when you can play off the ball
and on the ball, and I've done it.
At a high level, bro,
It's different, bro, than the motherfucker that always got the ball in their head.
I think they built teams around him better than Portland built team around.
Dang.
I 100% agree.
Yeah, like, they did.
They knew what Steph Curry did well, and they got people around him to do it.
Like, all right, we need a point forward in Dreemakas.
Steph didn't play point guard at Davidson.
He ran around.
He ran around was a two guard.
So let's get somebody who can play point forward and get Steph open shots.
Even underrated, them trade Monti to get bogged for that same reason to have those screens to have.
To keep the ball of his hands, to run off screens and passing the ball.
Yeah, I think 1,000% agree with you there in that situation.
I think you absolutely right about that, bro.
But I'm saying that's the difference in the game, though.
I'm so a better organization.
Nah, bro.
I think Steph is a better passing.
I think Steph is a much better pass than that.
I mean, look who you passing to.
I'm going to be a good pass too if I'm passing a KD.
You can't knock DJ point for that.
I'm not.
I'm not like his fault.
Damn there are, bro.
When he drives so many people and he's making good reasons, I mean,
That's what I'm saying.
I mean, but is that a good read?
If I'm throwing a KD and I'm throwing at Clay Thompson,
I look like a good passer because I would throw it to Kyle Corcoran.
He did that for, he did that for three years.
You weren't a good passer?
I was cool, but Kyle Corpard made me look like a great passer.
You had Kyle, you had Hal.
You had Josh.
You had Joe.
You had a lot of people, bro.
Even DeMaric Kerr had some assistance from you.
Yeah, but I'm just saying like,
shout to my guy.
He almost slipped into the All-Star game because of Jeff.
That's a fact.
But look.
But when you throw it in KD and Clay Thompson,
when we run it up Pick and Road,
Dray Mon rolling,
and you help a little bit off KD.
I'm going to look like a great passing.
And I'm not saying Steph can't pass.
That's where I've got to say you slighted it, bro.
I'm not.
You are, bro, because Steph can't help.
The first championship he won, bro.
That's what he got dealt with.
That's a good team.
They got to deal with, bro.
Steph Curry is the best point guard ever.
I'm not saying that.
He's a great player.
So you're saying Damon second?
I'm not saying.
the second. I just said he said it's close.
His accolades don't match up with it to be the best.
100%. So where would you put Dame at as a top 10?
His accolades ain't going to ever add up to be better than
some of these great players.
If he tops 75, I feel like you got to be top 10.
Yeah, but I'm just saying like, you can't be like, oh, he's better than Westbrook
because he never won an MVP.
Westbrook won an MVP.
You can't say he better than all these other dudes because...
I'd probably take Dame over Westbrook, but...
I won't be mad at you.
The comments of love this, man.
We got two great comparisons today.
First, you got, A.
Yeah, that's my very far.
That's my very far.
That's my very far.
That's right.
Great conversation.
I'm going to go with Lamar Jackson, man.
Doing what he do his best, man.
Four T.Ds.
That's the man right there for show every time.
Yeah, he, he, we want to compare him.
He, my.
Who, Lamar Jackson?
Yeah, he.
Lamar Jackson's.
There you go.
He's about to say something crazy.
What we compare it to?
I'm just saying.
He's about say Tom Brady, but.
Hell, no.
I'm going to say that.
Oh, I got to say Patma Holmes.
That's like Patma.
He Dame Lillard to pat my
Like to Steph Curry
I like that
I ain't gonna have
I'm gonna have
I like that
Light skin
Dame Lillard thug
I like that
I should say to
Lamar Jackson
No he called that back
To the team bro
No
I need Lamar Jackson
Get Super Bowl
Because
Yeah
Like I need Dame to get a chip
If Lamar Jackson
Get a Super Bowl
Dame get a chip
We look at them differently
Yeah bro
I'm in the
I need Lamar
A chip
So we can talk about him
The way he deserves
To be celebrating
For sure

on our podcast point game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season,
and I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments.
If we didn't talk ever again,
I was hungry.
You just understood.
That's how personal it got.
Wow.
Then after that game seven,
Marquis come in to her,
he's like, you know I love you, dog.
You know, it's all love.
This was just playoffs.
This was just basketball.
