Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel
and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you
funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an
a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some
retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and
friends on the ice.

Winning on Clay is an art.
The rallies are relentless.
And at the French Open, only the toughest survive.
I'd know.
I competed there for decades.
Join me, Renee Stubbs, on the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast for no-nonsense breakdowns of the
biggest matches, the toughest players, and the moments that define Roland Garris.
She can win.
She's an outsider to win the French fame.
And she likes Clay.
Listen, Lina Rubakina is arguably the best player in the world right now.
And I actually can win on any service.

Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the I-Hard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
The volume.
Sarukyan.
What's up, Armon?
How you doing?
Doing great.
How are you?
Good man.
Hey, so I was watching Instagram and I saw you just like housing thousands of dollars of caviar.
Like, the shit is disgusting.
It does not taste good, bro.
Really? No, you never tried the good one.
I tried the good one.
I tried the past caviar in New York City.
The best caviar in New York City, terrible.
Okay, how many types of caviars you try black?
I tried just one black caviar, but it's so salty.
Yeah, but there is seven different kind of them.
And you got to come Russia and I'll show the real caviar and you're going to like it.
I can't eat this stuff, man.
No, no, no.
In Russia, you're going to hit it.
Okay, okay.
Hey, man, so thank you for joining me.
Armand.
Thank you for me.
Things are moving fast.
Things are moving fast, champ.
So, obviously, the fight with Islam didn't happen in Los Angeles as is well documented.
Dana said something Saturday, he thought, and I made the same mistake also on the waiting show when I said...
Yes, I see it.
I saw that.
Yeah, I go, him stepping on the scale is a big thing, considering he missed weight last time.
but you did not miss weight last time.
No, I have never ever, like, issue with my weight.
And the make-the-weight is not a hard deal for me.
So, and especially how you can miss the weight
if you're being waiting for that fight, like six years.
And, like, I knew about that fight before four months.
Like, you can bring your body, like, to that day where you're, like, good, you know.
And it's not, like, four weeks or two weeks.
you gotta jump in on a dive and like
could do a lot of cardio
and I was lighter than
the last ones
you know I was lighter for three pounds
and I was on the
in the pictures
how you can
you can see like I was so lean
I was in good shape you know
so
the worst thing I were trained and they heard my back
especially when I was dehydrated
I heard my back and the doctors came
and check my bag.
And, yeah, they said, like, if you couldn't move,
if you couldn't make the way, just don't do that.
Armand, what do you think when you hear that from me?
And then you hear it from Dana, and you're like, oh, my God, this is so bad, right?
Because you stepping on the scale is a great thing.
But then obviously, I have a big voice in MMA.
Obviously, Dana is the voice in MMA.
When you hear that, what do you think?
think, like, as the guy that knows, it wasn't a weight issue. It was a medical issue.
I'm mad on the doctors. Because they're supposed to tell to Donna what really happened
or they check my back and send me to do MRI or something and made the right decision, you know.
And Donna, like, until nowadays they think, like, I have an issue with my weight cut. But never.
and I'm professional and like everybody who is close to me, they know me.
If I'm in the camp or if I'm on the diet, I never eat like outside.
And I'm so disciplined for that.
And how can I miss that fight for the weight?
It's like biggest fight in my life.
It's going to change my life as well.
And I'm going to make a lot of money.
and like after and I could be a champion
and my life is going to change, you know.
You get on the scale Friday as the backup fighter
for Ilya to pour you, Charles Oliver.
Going into that fight, what was your expectation?
Did you expect Charles Oliverer to be more competitive
with Toporia considering you and him
had a decent fight in the last one?
I thought he's,
the tapuia gonna finish him in the third
uh round why when the
because i thought tapura is not going to be rushed and he's going to like take his time
because he's so confident on his feet he's not going to rush it and uh uh
but like like olivera has no chin you know he he
like a lot of people drop him and uh he plays guard but he's getting old now his chin not there
And he has a way, so difficult way cut as well, you know.
And his time, I guess, passed.
And stylistically, he's a bad matchup for the Tapura as well,
because he has no wrestling to take him down.
And on the feet, how you can beat Tapura.
And Alibar has no good kicks as well.
Like, he has push-kick.
He started very well with push-kicks.
and but then he just missed one punch and started like play his game on the boxing distance
how you can how you you should you should work like a straight punches you know stay on the
long distance if you're on the close distance you've got to like just run out or like just
go to the wrestling you know to try to take him down so when you watch that right they
pan to all you guys sitting in the front row and they want your reaction
What was your immediate thought watching Ilya to pour you?
I mean, honestly, knock out Charles Olavera after knocking out Max Holloway and Alexander Volcanowski back together.
Like, were you impressed by the performance of Ilya?
I was impressed because it happened in the first round.
But I knew that he has one of the best boxing in our division right now.
and he's the best weapon
is a boxing
so
and when he knocked him out
like that
I was yeah
I was I was surprised
like he just
he just
he just
like fall like
he just fall straight
you know
yeah so
it was was good knockout
you know
yeah well
Norman
you were the number one contend
to go on the fight Islam
after the
fight didn't happen. Dana famously said he has to fight again. You go and you make the weight,
right? So it is assumed that if the thought was that you had a weight issue, you make the weight,
now you're going to find yourself back in the number one contender position. But after the fight,
the poor year starts to call everybody out. He called you out. He called you out. He called Gaecie out. He called
Patty out. Patty was the one, though, that walked into the octagon. First off, how did that happen?
How did he become the one that got into the octagon,
and it wasn't you who was the number one contender?
It was a Joe Rogan mistake.
Oh, Joe Rogan called him in?
Yeah, Joe Rogan called him.
It was the Joe Rogan mistake,
and he shouldn't call his even name,
like bring him to the octagon or like Petty.
He called the Patty to come to the Octagon.
And, yeah, I was surprised,
but, you know, when Donna said it shouldn't be like that,
I said, okay, hopefully he's not fighting for the title.
You know, it's the summer.

Huge news. We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast. Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts. We're starting a trend. But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a
call about what we should call it. And we were thinking, originally,
calling it one of the early
names of our band
before Jonas Brothers
was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing,
a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say,
Hey Jonas.
And then I wrote down
on my little notepad,
Hey Jonas,
and offered it up
as a potential title
for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that,
guys.

are trending, opinions are flying, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's
where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. Every episode, we're cutting through the noise, breaking down the
plays, the controversies, and the stories behind the headlines. We go straight to the source,
the athletes themselves, their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to
hear. The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight real. From viral
moments to historic games, from buzzer beaters to controversial calls, we break it down, give you
context, and ask the questions everybody wants answered.
SportsSlice brings you closer to the action with stories told by the people who live them.

Jacob Kingston grew up in an isolated polygamous sect.
We were God's chosen kingdom on earth.
He felt destined for greatness.
So when a swaggering Armenian businessman catapults Jacob into an extraordinary world, he doesn't look back.
Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, meeting the president of Turkey.
I'm Michelle McPhee, and this is one of the most shocking criminal conspiracies I've ever come across.
When Jacob met Levant this went to a billion dollar fraud.
But with two kings from entirely different worlds,
Just how long can their empire survive?
The largest tax investigation in American history.
You need to tell me what you know.
Is somebody coming after me?
Jacob told Levan, you're ruining my life.
Listen to Kingdom of Fraud on the I-Heart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Were you upset when you were watching that?
Like, as you see, Patty Pimbleau?
Because it's hard to erase the visual of that.
that, right? Like, in people's minds, they saw Patty Pimbley and Iliott to pour you in the
octagon like Patty was the next guy. Were you, like, upset knowing that it's going to be an
uphill battle now to try and change what people probably expect to happen now, even though
in terms of what's earned, you deserve a championship opportunity much more than Patty Pimler right now?
I mean, for
it was like
20, 30 minutes
I was of course upset because
I said this is not sport, this is
WWE. They
can do
whatever they want to do.
Like, just, you know,
I've been fighting
with everybody, you know,
and like
had a good win streak with the
top, top fighters, you know,
and
and, but, and then when I
listened to Donald's interview about the Patty, I said, okay, hopefully he's not fighting for
the title and they must put me on the title fight because I'm number one contender.
I most deserve it fighters right now. And after me, they can't fight, but next is me for sure.
Have you heard anything in the days that since the fight in regards to what's going to happen
in the future at 155 with you
and Ilya and Patty
and Justin Gaichi who
won his last fight and said that he wants
a championship opportunity.
Yeah, I mean
UFC going to decide who is going to
fight for the title.
And
but if you ask
like fans and people
they just call my name and they
know like I'm real contender
and
and
I know just
me can beat
Tapuya
How do you think you beat
Iliate Tapu're like what do you make of him
I mean because he's a guy that
you know it seems all well put together right
beautiful family
great media presence can fight
when you break him down in the
fight side of everything
how do you beat Iliad to pour you
is it just a matter of the takedowns
because the
the
the word or the story is
that he started as a wrestler and a grappler,
and he has developed to become this tremendous striker.
And if that's the case,
that means that it would be difficult
to just control him with the wrestling.
I mean, I just need the fight
and to show everybody, like,
I'm a different fighter,
and I've been improving so, so much.
And my last fight,
my last fight was like,
one year and a half and uh i'm just can't wait to go there and to show like who is darman sarukin
and uh why i'm number one contender and that day i'm gonna be a world champion so uh it's not
just the wrestling it's uh it's a i'm a well-rounded fighter and i'm not gonna just try to wrestle
him i'm gonna strike him i'm gonna kick him i'm gonna up kick him and you know and like try to do but
Yeah, honestly, I'm not going to try to box him.
I'm going to try to do like a real MMA fight to show him wrestling,
to punch him, to punch him wrestling, to show him wrestling, to kick him, you know,
and like clinch work.
Yeah, he, I watched his first fight and he was wrestling all over.
He got tired so much.
And he never fought his wrestlers like me, who knows, like freestyle wrestling.
He had.
Bruce
Bruce Mitchell
What's his name?
Bryce Mitchell
Bryce Mitchell
Bryce Mitchell
As the world
He's the worst fighter in 145
He took him down
And like hold him
Like with the crazy
From the crazy position
He got his
Single leg
And he even he took him down
Like
I mean
And he couldn't escape
Like one minute
He just
He was pulling the guard.
If you're good on the ground, you never pull guard.
You're just trying to sleep or like get out, get out from there.
I mean, I can tell he's not high level.
Yeah, on the video, his pads very well.
And like, defend the wrestling.
So, like, beautiful.
But, I mean, it's not WWE.
I can't wait to show like everybody.
You're funny.
You said Bryce Mitchell is the word.
First fighter at 145.
I mean, no.
I mean, he's a, I mean, do you watch his fights?
Dude, I've watched his fights.
I close.
He's like, he's kicks like he thinks he's kicking the ball, I think.
Like soccer?
Like soccer, yeah.
You're so crazy, Armour.
You're crazy.
Oh, okay.
You said that you would be the backup fighter to weigh in for the BMF title fight, Armourman?
Why?
I mean, if they call me,
If I need to be a backup, I'll be backup.
No.
What are you doing now?
Where are you?
Are you in Thailand?
I'm in Thailand.
What are you doing, training?
Yeah.
This guy's on the station.
No, no, I'm in vacation one week.
I'm coming back on Sunday.
One week vacation in Thailand, come back, start getting ready to be a BMF championship.
I mean, come on, Armour.
No, no, no, no, no.
They didn't tell me like you're going to be backup.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I'm saying like if they need you.
If someone pull out, if somebody happened, I'll be there and like try to make my weight and fight for the title because that's a good opportunity as well, you know?
Yeah.
All right, man.
Well, listen, when Islam vacated the belt to go to 170, people thought that 155 might have a little bit of time to like recover.
But it seems like with Ilya Tupoy, you now being the champion, you being here and all those other contenders, the division is just kind of waking up again with the change.
And honestly, today, Armand, I'm going to tell you this.
Ilya is now number one pound for pound in the ESPN M&A rankings.
What do you think about that?
He deserved it to be a number one.
Because he's a two-division champion, right?
He's two-division champion.
he like knocked out lost his fights and like he knocked out the goals and uh i mean how he went there
and like knocked out charles over in the first round and uh and and uh Islam just uh move up if
Islam gonna win the title in 170 he's gonna be pound for pound yeah for sure because yeah
it just takes time but uh i'll i'll send the but i'll send the i'll send
Tapuia back to top 15 pound for pound.
You're confident against Ilya.
It's hard, though, because I'm not defeated.
I mean, I would, when the fight started, I wanted to Tapuia win because for me, it's easy to fight Tapuia than Alibuera.
Wait, I don't understand that, though.
I don't understand that, Armand.
Like, how can you say that really is easier?
Because I like to take down people, you know.
When you take down Charles Aluera, he still can, like, choke you or something.
some like do some mission.
He almost had you.
You almost had you.
Yeah, but Tapuio is going to try to get up.
Just he's going to like defend.
He's not going to like.
And then you can like just go like thousand times to the take him down because there
is no no problems on the ground.
He's not going to try to choke you or something, you know.
He's some, well, that Bryce Mitchell fight that you were speaking about, he won that
fight by submission.
Armour?
I mean.
Bradst Mitchell
Bradst Mitchell
He was
He was
He used
He grew up with wrestling
No
No he didn't
No he didn't
He didn't
I mean
Maybe he's a good guy
But not the best fighter
I mean
I watched his last fight
I mean
He's striking
It's crazy
Where he trains
Even
Enjoy your vacation champ
Thank you for joining it man
I appreciate it
Hey have fun
You can keep that caviar to yourself
I don't want that shit
I don't care if it's the most expensive
caviar in the world
I'm not eating it
That shit is terrible salty
No no you gotta come right shit bro
And try there
And you're gonna change your mind
Brother I might as well take a thing of salt
And just pour it in my face

is hoping he gets a shot against Iliad to pour you.
Go follow everything Armand's doing.
Here's the man.
