Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

What's up, everybody?
Man, your boy, Big Play Slay here,
and y'all know what happened
at this week, man.
I got my boy, AJ,
aka Mr. Swole Batman in the building,
Mr. All-Pro himself,
pro-bo player.
You know, my dog, man.
Shout to my boy, AJ for joining me.
What's good, AJ?
What's up?
What's up, bro?
I appreciate you.
I appreciate you for put me on, bro.
Give me on.
Oh, yeah, you know, my first guest, you know what I'm saying?
My first guess, I had to bring one of my guys on the team, man.
So this is one of my dudes, man.
I bond with every day all day at work, man.
We go to work together.
We challenge each other every day, man.
You know, we help each other get better.
So, man, we're living it up right now, man.
I know you're happy or whatever.
Just go ahead and get this out the way because everybody want to know, man.
My boy got paid.
He got paid big.
He did, man.
I told him when I was about to come to Philly, you know.
I definitely want to help you take care of your family any way possible, you know,
you know, stuff on the field, off the field, just keeping them guide and keeping them locked in.
But, you know, I don't really got to try to do too much because he's already locked in on another level.
But just trying to just help just to bring out the best in each other.
And I feel like we did these bad season.
You know, we felt short, but a lot was accomplished in the season.
and I'm happy, bro.
It's like I want to, man, you know.
I already know, man.
You know, I feel the same way.
People don't know.
I've been telling him since 2020 when we drafted him.
I was telling him, it's going to be his team, man.
He got it in him.
He had that dog in him come out to junk.
But my biggest question is, you from Mississippi, he from Texas.
How do y'all become so much of best friends?
Him recruiting me to Alabama.
I went to, I went to visit to Alabama.
He was my host.
And we just kind of kicked off, man.
You know, we just kind of chopped it up.
And, you know, we're so similar.
It was kind of scared.
And he started recruiting me.
I ended up choosing Ole Miss instead, you know.
I almost went to Alabama.
Like, it came down between Ole Miss and Alabama.
But we just stayed in contact each week.
You know, of course, when we played each other on Saturday, you know.
But we'll always go link up in the offseason, get throwing such a lot of.
in like all the time.
Either he coming to Alabama or, I mean, he's coming to Oxford or I'm going to Alabama,
you know?
Dang, y'all doing that before we were looking.
I'm like, okay, in college.
Yeah, a bit of Mississippi State, though.
You know, you could have been the first receiver there and, you know,
could have really made the tradition out that receivership coming to.
Hey, but you were going to, that's in your own backyard and start Vegas.
Yeah, I mean, you know, a lot of people think I hate Mississippi State, but I don't,
man.
It just, you know, I grew up like in Mississippi State, you know, they just didn't really, like,
recruit me as tough as I would have thought.
But, you know, everything happens for a reason.
That's a great school.
But, you know, it just wanted to scoop with me.
Oh, man, that's crazy.
I'm kind of blow about that.
I'm kind of blow.
You've been knowing Janet for a good minute now, man.
So what's the biggest growth you saw him do this year?
I would say him stop caring.
I don't think I say to think too, man.
I've been a lot of people.
That's one of the biggest thing I said, man.
He really just started being himself and start caring a lot.
Yeah, he stopped caring, man.
Stop caring what other people think.
He stopped caring and what people say, you know,
and put that and focus all the energy on themselves.
And I think it, you know, it was a great move.
It was a great move.
It was definitely challenging, you know.
You know, as quarterbacks, you know, they get all the blame, you know.
Always.
All the blame, man.
You know, he wear it at, you know, as much as he don't show it, but he does.
You know, it's his responsibility.
He welcomed their responsibility.
really and I think this past season,
bro, he just stopped caring, bro.
He didn't stop caring forever as long as he played.
Hey, boy, because he was going crazy.
I said, look at hell.
Hey, what?
You know what I'm saying?
I was like, God damn, what I want to hit and win that year?
I can go a lot.
I want him to win the MVP, but it didn't.
Me too, me too, me too.
I want him to go.
So bad.
Me too.
So I know you're in Florida, man.
You know what I'm saying?
You're a Florida dude out there.
So, uh, how you?
Offs season been treating you, man.
Yeah, it's been going good, man.
Working out, like, crazy, training hard.
Trying to focus on, like, winning my mind, bro.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Trying to focus on their work disciplined, you know,
on the whole other level, you know.
You know, motivation comes and goes, you know,
every day we don't want to work out every single day,
but we can be disciplined that's going to take
as far as the motivation.
So I'm just trying to just focus on that as much as I can.
This all season, focus on my mind,
focusing on my body, you know, continue growing, you know, on the field, out of the field, you know.
And then drawing my love, I'm going to, you know, most important because it's definitely
this time where, like, I can spend the most time with them, you know, and I try to do that,
you know, because when the season starts, bro, and, you know, we have OTAs coming.
Yeah, so.
Hey, that's a question I want to ask you too, too, man.
I'm a parent as well, man, so how are you like, you know what I'm saying?
What your mindset are you doing when you come to, like, in the season, being a parent, and how you
adjust to
in-season parent and all-season parent.
Like, you know, I know he's like me.
I like to focus on my game as well
and trying to be the best I could be the best version of myself,
but you also got to put the time in with your kids
because of the problems.
So how do you adjust by that?
So, like, in the season, like, I just try to,
like, especially, like, after a practice,
I try to come home and try to spend much time
with them I put the iPad down or whatever.
Like, whatever I'm dealing with the day,
with the football, I try to put it all down.
And once I put the kids asleep,
you know, that's when I law back.
can and I try to, you know, study, do what I need to do, you know, to prepare.
Even if I got to go downstairs and work out or whatever, maybe put an extra work in.
But I try to devote that time to my kids as soon as I get home, you know, because they see me all day.
They don't want to see me colder than iPad, you know, they want my attention.
So, you know, and in all season is just a little different.
You know, I got a lot more free time.
You know, I'm definitely, I like to try to go get my workouts out of the way.
And I try to, like, just block off those hours for my workout.
And then I still just try to do, spend as much of the time I can with them, you know,
try to do the things that I can't do, like, during season,
like taking a school, go pick them off school, something like that.
You know, that means everything to me, you know.
And so I try to do things like that, you know, so.
Yeah, I'm doing, that's what I'm doing right about now, man.
I'm still in, feel like I'm still there training camp more.
I've got to get up at six.
Take my kids to school, get here, check my workout in between,
go pick them up at 2.30.
Yeah.
You got to be busy to get me.
busy one, you know what I got some older ones, you know what I'm saying?
You got a starting fire.
Huh?
You got a starting fire, though.
Hey, your boy ain't making a more.
He ain't going to have a six man.
He ain't going to start to six men.
But would not have that, man.
I'm good on that.
But, yeah, man, I had to do the same thing.
So I had to adjust to as well, man.
That just was hard, man.
Just trying to find time to, you know, be the best you could be and be the best parent.
So I wanted time in my career, I kind of like wanted to be the best football player.
So I'm kind of like, not ignoring, but I had like, okay, I got to be the best.
I totally understand.
It's like a balance.
But I think about it all the time, bro.
And family is like the most important thing.
It is the most important thing to me.
So it was just like how do I balance trying to be the best and not sacrificing my time for my family?
You know?
Because I just feel like if a guy doesn't have, like, kids or nothing like that,
like, he got an advantage on me.
Like, he can go move whenever I'm asleep.
So whenever I, like, put the kids down or whatever the kids will be, bro, I got to,
I devote that time to myself, though.
So, like, that's my me time.
And I try to go make myself better, do what I got to do to get better.
So it's just different, bro.
You don't got no kids, bro.
You're going to win.
I say the same thing.
I say, man, I'll be sitting there watching film.
I'll be thinking because I'll be having some matches.
I'm a traveling guy who guys like a Justice Jefferson or, you know,
anybody that's coming up or anybody's coming up.
Uh-uh.
I got to be locked in, baby.
I got to get in real quick.
I'm talking I got to watch this.
It's going on a million people feeling to be watching.
Thanks, bro.
Preparation I already started.
You know, even though already started.
Yeah, I already started.
Yeah, man.
I'll start off this season, you know.
I gave all y'all boys nicknames, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Got your boys jumping and stuff.
So my question is, do you like the name's role Batman?
Man, I appreciate this.
I learned to love it, bro.
Because you have made me so much money off the field like it's crazy.
That's always money off the family.
Brothers do that for each other.
Man.
Yeah.
So I'm definitely going to stick with it and run with it, you know?
So.
Yeah.
I like it.
I like it.
I like it.
I like it.
I like it.
You did a great job, bro.
You did a great job.
Oh, man.
I appreciate that, man.
I was talking about what I said, man, everybody keeps asking me like,
hey, we got AJ.
I'm like, man, we got, we got Batman's.
We got guys that can go.
You know what I'm saying?
So that's just me being who I am, being a character, man,
trying to put smiles on faces and just having fun with the media.
They're making the media a hard time for me because them dudes will be.
For sure.
For sure.
For sure.
They can't make it a hard time.
They can make it a hard time, man.
But all right, man.
This is one another question I had.
I've been nagging about you all year about it, all year.
You know what I'm saying?
While he was in Tennessee, I said, when we traded for you,
I said, man, one thing I saw AJ do in Tennessee was never get ran down.
I was talking about the speed a lot.
I was telling you during the year, I said, AJ, for you to be that small,
that big, I'm like, two-four or two-third at the time.
Like, AJ, I said, bro, he'd be sloppied in Tennessee.
I ain't never seen him get ran down.
Then you come to us.
I don't see you break a tagging and get loose, getting tripped up, getting that.
So what's up with this speed, man?
You got a little more small little something.
What's going on now?
Come on now.
I mean, I mean.
You're a spray now.
I saw you got loose on the Saints game, but, you know,
I think that one time with, like, Minka Fitzpatrick, like,
he had a great angle, bro.
He got a great angle.
And I just feel like he got lucky, bro.
It's just two-strain tackle, bro.
And then another time, another time in, like, against Chicago,
bro, it was like five degrees out there.
Like, nobody else.
that running fast.
Like, so I caught the ball.
I caught the ball.
And I'm like, all right.
I'm looking down at the sideline.
I'm trying to stay in bounds.
I'm like tiptoin instead of the dude still in like full sprint.
And so I'm like, oh, oh shit.
So I'm like, all right.
It is what it is.
It is.
It is what I did my job.
I did my job.
I got to push it here.
I got to, but that's just me.
But I'm like, yeah.
But, you know, I definitely took it to heart, though,
because whenever I got the opportunity to get the sense,
I was trying to slide.
You just slid, I'm telling you slid.
I'm not going to see.
I watch fam a lot.
I watch you a lot, you know, so I got a lot of you,
everything.
Honestly, well, you could have probably let league
in the longest touchdowns is probably about a bunch on
because you don't have some experience.
Most of plays now because it's always, it's a one time.
You got by eight of them.
It could be.
I always be.
I don't know, bro.
You know, at the end of the season,
I try to, like, watch, like, film
and see what I can do better and stuff like that.
But I try to, like, count, like,
how many touchdowns I could have had
if I finish this play.
Yeah.
I can't just play.
So definitely trying to, like, you know what I'm saying?
Really, like, understanding in the opportunity,
while, like, it presents itself,
like, just trying to, like, make most of them.
So, you know, that's something I always been trying to, like,
do in the game.
Because I always tell myself,
I'm going to get one chance to score a touchdown
every single game.
Now, you know,
Once that chance on, I got to go earn it.
I got to go earn it.
I got to go earn it.
And so I try to think about it like that.
You know, so some of those, you know, mishouse, you know,
shoot streamed tackles, you know, I try to, I got to try to like finish those plays.
And, you know, sometimes again, bless me with another opportunity to score another touchdown.
But I just got to, you know, make the most of the opportunities.
Okay, I'll feel, I feel, you know what I'm saying?
Because if you need to borrow some of that big play speed, I got to.
I'll lend it here.
I'll lend it to you.
All I just need to do that
fullness is give me some,
I give you speed,
but some swollenness because.
But some swollenness.
I don't think you want no spolence,
though.
You got to learn to,
you know what I'm saying?
It's in the arms.
Just in the arms.
Just in the arms.
Just in the arms.
Because people don't know it.
I'm not saw the picture with you and D.K.
Y'all are some action figures.
So I'm trying to get up there like that.
You know what I'm saying?
No, no.
Wait a time.
Come back from camp.
Wait till I come back from Cal.
Oh.
Hey, Jake.
All right, now I know we'd be finishing practice.
I know, you know, Jokers take their pads off and whatnot.
Don't hang your shirt off, man.
My wife might be out there.
Nah, man.
Nah, take cooking that banana putt, though.
Hey, you know, I'm going to go crazy, bro.
It goes crazy, bro.
Yeah.
It goes to be putting in ball.
You know what I'm saying?
People I heard you say, man, what a banana, man, I got you.
You know what I said?
Why we do a thing?
She put a foot in it.
I'm trying to tell you.
and, hey, I ain't gonna lie now.
You got it. Every time you got it, you was going crazy.
That's one of your big games now.
I need it. I needed it every Friday.
I know, I know.
I told her, I told her wife, now, listen to here.
We're trying to win a Super Bowl, baby.
So if you're a part of the team, man, she's a part of the team.
Yeah, if you got to mail this thing to me now, we go get it mailed.
Because I mean, my guys performing at a high, high level, and this is making a high level.
But show, Michelle, she's just a part of the team, bro.

Hey, I'm Jared Adano.
You might know me as that loud guy who yells out,
help on the internet.
Help!
Somebody, please!
But there's so much more to me than me.
I'm an actor.
I'm a comedian.
And recently, I've become quite the helper myself.
And on my new podcast,
Hope from a Hippocrite,
I'll be changing lives,
helping people in need with my sage advice and thoughtful solutions.
Sike!
I'm a comedian.
I'm not qualified to give good advice.
Join me and my comedian friends as we riff rant
and recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to man.
If I'm calling you, even if you're on your phone,
let it ring twice.
One ring is too scary.
Cream a chicken suit.
Hey, cream.
Cream a chicken suit.
This is Help from a Hypocrite,
the worst advice from the dumbest people you know.

Yeah.
So, man, it's been a long season for both of us.
I'm talking about we just feel like we just got done playing.
So what was your best moment and your worst moment of the season?
My best moment was the NFC championship game,
realized and then we was going to the Super Bowl
and, like, you know, kind of taking it all in on the sideline with Devonte.
And I was like, bro, we're really going to the Super Bowl, you know?
And so I think that was like,
Yeah, and then, like, you know, the confetti and everything,
and we celebrated me on the podium with Jayland.
And he just smiled, and he's like, but I told you, bro, we're going to do this, you know?
And that dog on video, man, y'all put on the, he's talking about, let do this.
That boy really came up here and dead that day.
I said these young boys are really good for the good for y'all boys.
I'm like, them boys really just said that.
That's what's going to happen.
Yeah, man, we, uh, we, of course, man.
My worst morning, I'd definitely say, you know, it's pretty obvious losing a school bowl.
I thought it.
I know it was.
I know it was.
It's tough, man.
It's tough to even think about it today.
You know, I watched the game.
And I want to say I get upset, but I get a little disappointing, man, because I try to look at it as in, like, what could I do better?
Or, man, what if I had a broken tackle here, you know, like, if I could have had to change the game?
or whatever the kids may be, but, you know, once again, hats out to them.
They deserve what they want, you know.
But, you know, it is what it is.
You move on, you know, and you try again, you know.
You know, losses is less, you know.
We definitely going to be a better team because of it.
You know what I'm saying?
And I don't know about, you know, I'm just saying,
I don't know how I'm saying he's starving.
I don't know what I'm worried for it now.
I don't know where he comes up with these, you know.
I don't know.
I don't know how to describe.
He does amazing job doing.
I told you he just made me want to run through a big wall sometime.
Yeah, but I just, but right now, like, I don't know after losing, you know,
I don't know how to describe, like, the feeling of where I'm at right now of how bad,
like I want this, like, I want this shit, like, you know, so, you know, I ain't going to get too much into it.
You know, we already know, we in the summer, we're April, but, you know, it's a lot of
work got to get put in between those times, but you don't definitely, you know, we definitely
load the arsenal.
Oh, yeah, man, we lock and loaded, man.
I'm going to, definitely, but me too, I'm glad I had to got to resign back.
Man, I said, man, we shouldn't run his mug back or something.
Something got to get because you got the talent, man, we got the team, man.
You know, we just got to put it all together, man.
We're like, man, we got to help them boys.
You should have helped them boys out more.
But, like I said, I be doing the same thing as you, bro.
That's going to be happening, bro.
Like, I don't blame nobody, bro.
Nobody.
I'm not playing nobody, bro.
Like, it happens, bro.
And, like, the one time I feel like we don't,
we didn't really, like, played, like,
as good as we would normally.
It was in the Super Bowl, like, you know?
It got set on defense.
I said, but the one time we don't play,
like, we're supposed to be playing.
Now we do this.
Yeah.
Yeah, bro, I said the same thing, man.
Same.
It was a good game, though.
It was a good game.
Great game.
Yeah, it was a good game, man.
So, definitely was fun.
I wish we could just change, like,
the stuff in the beginning of the week
and all that stuff,
like all the media and stuff.
We need to take it out.
Yeah, we can get rid of all that.
You know, I think should go.
Yeah, get rid of that, but...
Get rid of that.
And I say we get rid of going down there
to the city for a whole dog on week, man.
We just pop up on Friday, really.
Thanks, bad, bro.
Being in the air and that job was draining
because we still had to do it on a meeting.
We could have did that at home
and getting our own beds.
Instead, you have to try with the hotel,
then getting the security.
security check, all that kind of mess.
Like, man, we could have gone.
Could have stayed at home for that.
Then it'd be cheaper, too, because I'm, man,
my family wouldn't be cheaper in my pockets too.
So they want to experience the whole Super Bowl, a little vibe.
I mean, it's on, baby.
When I tell you, that Super Bowl got expensive, boy, got expensive.
I'm thinking like, okay, because I'm on the outside looking in.
I'm like, okay, we got to pay five, two tickets.
I'm like, cool, how many people in the Super Bowl get?
So I'm like, man, we only get.
the two free and we got to pay for the rest.
Oh, what? You're telling
me what? Tickets.
Tickets, flights, hotel.
Man. Oh, man.
I'm talking about, bro.
Like, I almost were playing for free,
bro. We did play the whole
check. Every one of them, bro, people
be thinking like, okay, we get a test of money.
First of all, we get more, me and you for a show. I'm just talking about me and you.
We get paid less to be in the playoffs.
First of all, what?
So then again, we get the money to.
get in the playoff.
If we get to the Super Bowl, we're busting out.
Not going to say no number, but we busts out plenty.
So I'm like, bro, look, I had to, you know what I'm saying?
I had to tell some love with that.
That can't come.
Yeah.
This is only but an immediate family only right about now because, oh.
Look, yeah.
I had some friends that wanted to come because I thought I could probably get,
got to turn around.
No, sir.
No.
Sorry, man.
It was, yeah, bro, because I'm like.
I'm thinking about my kids and they're young, but like...
You got to buy them a ticket.
You got to buy them a ticket.
But you know what I'm saying?
I'm like, the kids don't really need to go.
I'm like, the kids don't really need to go.
But it's like, all right, if we win, like, I want to experience that with my family.
You got to go with the confeder they falling on us.
I'm talking about me.
You want that picture, bro.
Yes, I wanted that picture.
Now, my kids come, got it.
I'm talking about my daughter.
I'm talking about my babies, all of them.
I'm talking about.
Man, little.
Man, look, man.
If I just saw the script, and we were going to lose,
they'll stay the home.
I'd say that, Brett.
I'm all my save.
Oh, no, we're the same.
I'm saying that, bread.
Morning, 50, 20.
It is what it is, but they need to get rid of that, for real.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But another one, man, one big thing.
I know, I know, you know, me and J.B,
some of the best ones you win against it against practice.
But besides us, who was the hardest guy to challenge you?
That made you, okay, I got really be AJ.
Even though you go beat AJ every game.
But really like, okay, I got to have you thinking, had you playing smarter,
had you making the right moves.
Who had you like that?
Marlon Humphrey, just physical guy.
You got good feet, good speed, plays hard, he doesn't get tired, number one.
Like, that's the huge thing.
He doesn't get tired.
Yeah, you know, whenever you catch the ball, you got to worry about the, you know,
the peanut punch, Jaylon Ramsey.
Yeah.
Athleticism off the chart, you know.
As much as you can, as much as a lot of people say they don't like them for, like,
he talked so much, but, you know, you got to respect the game.
You got to respect the game at the highest level.
He definitely wanted the corners to play the game at the high level, you know,
just athleticism just off the chart.
Like, you can beat them, and he'll jump back in to play with just his athleticism, you know.
Other than those two people.
Well, we was getting in that word.
I'm talking about getting an end, but that's why we had, you know, all pros and pro
pros, like, that's why we was really good on good every day.
Yeah, every day.
And I truly believe, you know, because my, there was,
my first time, like, going against you at practice this year, this past year. And, you know,
I was looking forward to that, but it's just, uh, just going against you guys every single
day, you know, uh, and just learning different things and seeing different looks, you know,
going against, especially you, being clean with my, with my routes and my brakes and stuff
like that, you know, you know, I joke with you one time and I said, you, you finally got me,
you know, that one time, you know, and I'm not ashamed to say, like, finally pick six,
picked on a route and you, you took it to the crib, you know what I'm saying? And, and, like,
I'm like, all right, they happen, like, they happen one time since we've been practicing.
You know, I'm like, I'm like, that's straight.
Like, you know.
It happened.
It happened because we never real.
I was telling my home boys, man, they said, man, because, you know,
because, you know, of course we traded for you.
Like, man, how that boy AJ is?
I said, man, it's been a great matchup for me because I've been going against Smitty
and, you know, queds.
Guys that's just so skinny and fast that just try to, you know, just try to get that,
not let me get hands on.
You know, you come in there.
All right, put your hands on what you want to.
Get them down.
I said, oh, slow.
First day, bam.
I said, damn.
I said, AJ is strong.
They lie.
They ain't lied about this kid.
I said, ooh, we.
So I'm like, okay, I know I got to get okay.
Then boom, one day, go ball.
And you late hands me.
I said, oh, he's a vet early.
Okay, okay.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
I was just picking and learning you as well.
I'm like, AJ really, I'm like, okay, boom.
Because in Tennessee, they did not let you kind of from my mind.
Just don't let you know run the route tree.
They had you running bangs, slants, little stuff that.
you know, a big body guy receiver dude.
But when you came up with AJ, so in my mind,
I'm like, bang, slants, goals.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Came over here.
I said, no, but AJ can run the whole Routtree, stops, curls, double moves, all that.
So, I was like, you know, I was just, you know,
I was just admire it because I just go off film talk
and film was telling me the tendency that you was a bang, eight, slant,
go ball guy and contest guy.
But you came up here, man, Routtree went crazy.
I said, man, people were sleep.
You know what I'm saying?
But I'm not going to notice because I'm saying,
you did it already by yourself,
you know, what you're all pro-year.
But I'm like, man, they got a whole route
so you can run whatever he wants to.
Yeah, a lot of people don't know that.
A lot of people are running.
That's a good thing.
They can keep thinking, you know what I'm saying?
Whatever they want to think.
But I'm definitely always trying to, like,
get better, you know,
learn stuff from, even from Smitty or anybody else.
If I can learn something from anybody,
I'm going to try to put it in my game,
bro, like I'm a deep, bro, you know.
I ain't a lot to you, brother.
You better be at this,
at this level.
You know, they'll see when they line up.
Oh, yeah, I'm telling them now.
You better get ready.
Any corner that line in front of them.
You better be ready.
I'm just telling you.
And that ain't even the biggest thing
because you got to talk with me at the end.
That's the hardest part.
Hey, I'm so thankful because, like,
of course I go look at my schedules.
You know what I said?
Who I got?
I saw you on the schedule come out earlier before the drafts.
I'm not seeing.
I'm like, dang, okay, I got AJ.
Ooh, I said, dang, boy, I don't want to tackle that boy.
I already know it.
I don't see you run through tackles.
And thankfully, I ain't never going to have to tackle you because.
Right, right, right.
Once I'm done in Philly, I'm done completely.
So I ain't even going to have a chance to talk you.
You know what I'm just thankful enough that I can just too hand tag you.
Yeah, yeah, buddy, because I wasn't out trying to do all that.
Of course, I could have to tag you a home boy.
but you're a little different.
You know, you're looking for the contact.
You know, D.K. do too as well.
But he's a lot faster with the mess.
But you, I'm like, nah.
And that's, hey, look, that's the funny thing about it, too,
because, you know, when I played against Tennessee,
like, none of the guys really had to tackle me in practice.
You know what I'm saying?
So, like, I'm like, all right, you know,
you ain't no two-hads tag.
Now you got to tackle.
Now you got to see it, like, on another level.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Not that, like, you know, they just never tacked for me.
So it definitely was going to be advantage to me, you know.
Yeah, that's a big advantage.
Yeah.
So my last one for the day, man, so what is the difference between Philly and Tennessee to you?
They're different because they're different people, you know.
Coach Grave is a guy who is a player guy, you know, he's a flying coach to be around.
Oh, his guy's accountable.
You know, he played the game.
He played the game for a long time and he's done at a high level for so many years.
so he knows what it takes.
So he's definitely, you know, being tough on guys, you know.
And I think the difference between him and, like, him and Nick are just,
it's two different personalities, you know.
Right.
Does Nick are different, you know?
Yeah, he is, man, he's going to have fun.
He's going to enjoy himself.
But whenever we've got to work, we're going to work.
And here in Philly, like, look, do what you need to do to get yourself ready for Sunday.
And whatever works for you, worse for you.
because you don't want to put mileage on other guys
just because you're trying to, you know.
And I think like I said, both ways work.
Both ways work.
Both of them are still really good organization.
You know, you just learn.
The one is different from the other.
Yeah, that's why I'd be, that's why I hype on big, man,
with situations, you know, guys be signing with teams
and stuff like that.
Because I know another organization is, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, yeah.
Like a guy like my boy Fletcher, man, he's been 12 years in Philly now
to be 12.
Yeah.
I'm saying he can't he can't he can't he can't put nothing else but philly practice
nah he can't he's gonna go somewhere else he's probably when we function right just because
yeah yeah yeah so you know and uh and that and that pays a role in people where people sign that
and you know that's the same way with me when i was in my little deal where i want to go out i say man
one thing i know about the philly i know what kind of practice i know what i know what i know what
it's so you know what i'm gonna stay right here yeah yeah yeah you know what i'm gonna really
my body will have to go into different type of adjustments so uh yeah yeah
But yeah, yeah, man.
It's a long year.
It's a long year.
Philly do a great job of taking care of their players, man.
First, that's come first.
And they do it very.
You know, so I think, you know, the practice are lovely, you know, as much as they say, like,
that's how we're not having, like, mini-camp.
Like, I think, you know, people say stuff about that, but, bro, like, we be, we'd be
fresh.
We be ready to go.
Right.
You know, we all know we have a job to do, man.
And, like, the room, I would definitely just say this.
Like, like, the leaders in our room, like, I don't feel like you have to worry about guys not coming back in shape or guys just, they're just, like, not really putting y'all into it because, like, the room itself is going to push the ones who are not really into it out.
You know what I'm saying?
So that's why I think the leadership, just from a standpoint, the leaders on our team are affectionate brought to the room.
You know what I'm saying?
So, like, if you're a bad apple, bro, like, you're trying to get that bad apple.
It's going to push you out of it, you know what I'm saying?
So either you're going to come with us or you're not.
Love.
I'm just sitting there.
You got a guy like Kelse laying on the O'Line.
You think all the boys will come in like, let me half-ass.
No.
You know what the time would Kel's going to do?
You know what I'm saying?
So they understand, like, when you surround yourself with great leaders, man, guys
know not to let their leaders down and guys don't let each other down. Definitely when you know you
got a great thing in the future. So yeah, man, but, uh, man, I appreciate you coming on, man.
You know, I'm saying, hey, get back to the parenting because I'm going to get back to the
parent. I got to pick my kids about 30 minutes, you know what I'm saying? I got to do my daddy
diligence. So, man, I appreciate you coming on, man. You know, you have a blessed one. Your boy
go be in Florida. So, you know, we get a link, kick it, you know what I'm saying?
Bye. No, you know, you don't want to hit your phone. I can't. We got us too much.
I got you. I got you. I got you. I appreciate you.
Thank you. I appreciate you, dog.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
