Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.

So let's get to it.

The volume.
What's up, everybody, man?
Is your boy Big Play Slay here, man?
I'm back, man.
You know, feeling good.
Feeling damn good.
I feel a great win this week, man.
Hey, fans out there.
Subscribe to your boy, man.
Subscribe to the channel.
Man, I just got started on this thing, man.
So y'all going to show some love to your boy.
I know y'all love me and I love y'all.
And I got a special, special treat for the ones, man.
man, you know, if you comment in the session,
asking me any type of question, man.
I'm looking forward to answer at least one question,
two questions maybe, you know, out the comments.
Y'all comment down and let me know what's going on, man.
I'm doing great after a huge victory, man,
and Foxborough,
already getting ready for the Vikings, man,
because this is a short week.
So I had to, you know, get ready.
But the real thing is right now, them jets,
man, seeing ARA go down like that.
That's tough.
That's tough, man.
I don't like to see nobody go down, man.
And y'all everybody know about that.
them now, MetLife, everybody been, I'm talking about crazy injuries, crazy.
I'm talking about people, people just running, non-contact, tearing ACLs and all this and
all that.
It's been rough there, man.
And terribly, I got to go there twice this year.
You know, I usually only go that once.
Terrible, I go that twice because we play the Jets also.
But, man, it's tough, man.
And I know what's going around, I'm saying, is it done for them?
Everybody could be questioning is Ann Rajah done, man.
39 years old, you know, just towards Achilles, like, can he recover from that?
Can he steal the skate from the pocket and stuff like that?
I truly believe that he can come back stronger than ever, man.
I hope so, you know, he's an amazing player.
Man, I've been playing against him for so long in Green Bay, like a long time, man.
Became great friends, became great, you know, talking to each other, man.
I got his jersey, you know what I'm saying?
Ain't too many people got an A-Ride jersey.
I got one.
So, you know, I'm always thankful for him.
but, man, that's, it just, that's just terrible, man.
And that team, I know they prepared for him, man.
They did a lot.
They traded away a lot to get them.
And, you know, man, and I know he got a lot of great relationships in the
all season, man.
So, man, you know, I just hope seeing him pray for him and his family, man,
for a speedy recovery, man.
And I want him to come back there as healthy as possible.
Like, the best shape of his life, man.
I know he'll come back stronger than ever, man.
Everybody, man, in this chat, man, that's watching, man.
Make sure you pray for every rod, man, for a speedy recover.
Please and thank you.
It was a huge win in Foxboro, man.
Tom Brady Day came in there, man.
I ain't going to lie to me.
I got the chills too for him, man,
because watching him and go out there,
they did a little ceremony for him before the game.
They had him ringing the bell, man.
Hearing the crowd go crazy was like,
man, I got a great opportunity
to get to play against this man so many times.
And I get the witness, like, you know,
him coming back home and watching this team,
this organization just show me show love.
I saw a lot of great Hall of Fame players out there.
DeRere Riezer was out there.
You know, we got Malcolm Butler that was out there,
the one who saved one of his, like,
it was crazy just seeing all the stuff going around, man.
It was just amazing feeling for me as well.
I soaked it all in as in just like, hey, this is Tom Brady ceremony.
Like, I get to be a part of this and I get to ruin it
because, you know, we came out with the dobs.
It was raining from start to finish.
It stopped kind of like round the third.
end of the third quarter,
and it was clear of the fourth,
but the rain was terrible.
I'm talking about terrible.
I'm thank God it wasn't cold
because cold and rain do not get along for me.
I probably went back home sick as hell
and still got to prepare for a Thursday night game.
So I'm like, dang, I thought it was clear up.
It didn't.
So we went out there.
I ain't had no rain gloves on,
so I had to make sure my hands were certified
that people know I got great hands.
So, yeah, Coach, Seriana,
I got hands.
Put me on offense.
Let me work.
You know what I'm saying?
Let me work.
I got to give a shout out to Matt Jones, man.
He had a great game.
You know what I'm saying?
We start them early.
We got a lot of turnovers.
Not really a lot of turnovers.
We did get a lot of turnovers.
I'm lying.
We did get a lot of turnovers.
We got two of them.
But, you know, he got his groove going, man.
He was making great checks,
making accurate throws.
You know, he missed some throws,
but he was just making great plays, man.
He made a great plays on fourth down.
we for sure got to play better, put out better film, you know, especially going up 16-0.
And then like, you know, even though the offense weren't going, that's why we bounce off
each other, man.
We're a team.
Office weren't doing so well, they go get together.
But let's believe, I believe they go get together, man.
You know, we're not going to blame the preseason, you know, because the starters did not
play because that's just an excuse to have.
I'm not a guy that just has excuses.
So we got prepared to go.
That's why we got great leader of veterans on this team, man, that can really, you know,
lock in, be focused, and still understand what it takes to win a game.
And we did, you know, this is a game we could have did a lot of corrections off of,
because special teams, corrections, you know, we wasted two timeouts on some stuff that guys
want to line up right.
So it was a great adjustment for us to have and still come out with that dub, man.
So we got to be better as a team and everything, man.
Coach, even hit it today at work, just, hey, we got to be cleaner than this.
And let's get on the defense, man.
I know everybody in the comments.
Everybody that's tweet me, write me on Instagram and all that great stuff.
Everybody was like, man, y'all young guys played very well.
You know what I'm saying?
What did you expect?
Did you think they weren't going to play very well in their first?
Yes, I did.
Yes, of course.
Like I said from the jump, man, been telling y'all, Jalen Carter was already beast.
I've been telling you all, he'd been breaking sleds each and every day.
We might have to start buying a Jalen Carter sled for him just to break on purpose all the week.
He played amazing.
Jordan Davis played amazing.
Got a force fumble.
Sack, Jalen Carter, Sack.
Like, like, we know the D-Line is crazy, talented, man.
Like, them guys are tremendous.
And just adding them young guys that's with them veteran leaders, man,
that's really, like, guiding them guys the right way, man,
they're going to be, it's going to be crazy.
Like, it's going to be unstoppable to block them guys.
Because if you watch the game, they're doing nothing but quick game all day.
Quick game, getting out of there, throwing a ball,
little drop here, a little drop there, little drop there.
Like, that's the thing to slow down the rush.
screens, you know what I'm saying?
So they did a great job trying to stop our password from getting them.
But we got to them twice.
But we could have got there more, you know what I'm saying?
That's from the back end, we made the coverage a lot more tighter
so we can make sure that them guys get there because them guys hunting.
I'm talking about it.
They're like a pack of lions that just seen a zebra and woo, that zebra ain't safe.
You know what I'm saying?
So quarterbacks, just be aware.
Them guys coming, man, and they hungry.
I really think they don't eat before game day.
So they be starving all day and look here.
You look like fresh meat every time.
Dinner will be on me.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm going to take the D-Line out to eat.
They keep doing what they're doing.
And shout out to Nacobie Dean, man.
Even though he went down, him and Cunningham,
dumb boys was hitting them boys on the run like it sound like two cars just crashing every play.
Both of them boys looked like they should be in concussion protocol,
how they be hitting folks.
I'm telling you, like, they're hitting too hard.
I told them out of the game,
but are y'all concerned about your health?
Because how y'all hit folks and another grown man,
I don't think y'all concerned about your health at all.
I just told them straight up.
Like, I don't know how they do it.
And they ain't building me.
I could get you down and tackle you.
But them jokers, they're trying to knock folks helmet off.
And I, you know what I'm saying?
They can do what they do.
I'm glad they're on my team because they can't hit me like that.
But, you know, that's why we start to run pretty well, man.
The front seven was really playing lights out the back end.
got a lot of cleaning up to do.
It's a tough game for the secondary, man.
You know, with Bill O'Brien coming in, definitely from Alabama,
you know, he tried to put the Texas film together,
that he was a head coach in Texas.
So it was like it was kind of going to in there unispected.
Like, you don't know what they're going to do because, you know,
he could have learned a lot differently, you know,
in the past three years since he's been in the lead.
This is his first year back into the league and he was in college.
So, you know, we were trying to watch all type of film to really try to get an
understanding of what he likes to do and what he don't like.
So that's what made it tough, you know,
as we came into the second half, we made the adjustments that they were, you know, being successful on.
And we know, we tried to just match the energy they was just giving. So, uh, of course, he made a lot of
plays. So we just had to adjust in the middle game, man. And coach decided a great job as
adjusting and helping us come out there with a duck. We go clean up. Definitely with me as a leader in
a DB room. We got to clean up in the back end. Yo boy got the pick six, man. Come on now.
I'm talking my first drive. So you know how I'm feeling. I'm feeling good. Like, man,
Man, look here, boy.
And y'all think I was slow,
because I'm 32 years old?
Nah, man, I'm trying to tell y'all, man,
I'm probably the second fastest on the team.
I'm talking about I was Speedy Gonzalez for real.
Like, I'm very, very fast.
I know when y'all see the park, look here.
I knew it was raining.
So I got a guy that had vision on the ball.
That's the best thing to do on the rainy game
is have vision on the quarterback in the ball.
So I saw him throwing it.
I seen it being too high.
So I know if he got a jump at end,
anytime it was go slip.
You know what I'm saying?
Go right through the fingertips.
I said, boom.
So you saw how I called it straight with the chest.
Wham?
Because I know I got wet gloves on.
I ain't too much trusting hands with the rain.
So I'm like, I'm going to catch it with my chest.
So I called it with my chest.
Bam.
Come on.
As soon as I touch ground,
do-d-d-d-do-do-do-do.
I'm talking about getting out of the.
I saw on the highlight tape, right,
I saw on a little jumbo tron.
38 thought he goes catch me from behind.
No, sir.
Put the burners on him too.
Okay, then I saw 84.
Barnes had a great game, by the way.
Barnes had a great game.
Ran a great out and up on me, man, in the red zone.
Shout out to my dog, but he's my homie, too.
But he ran a great route, man.
That was a great route.
But I saw him.
Bam.
He kind of cut me off.
Big play, sleigh beat angles.
I'm too fast.
Beat him.
Boom.
saw Matt Jones coming.
I knew I was not going out of bounds.
Either I was going to run him over
or I was going to cut back.
So I saw the fact that he tried to reach
and grab me up high.
I cut back because I run through arm tackles
like I'm Derek Henry.
And he's lucky I didn't give him the stiff
like Derek Henry,
but cut back, do what I do.
I got a little blank on my celebration
because I ain't know what I want to do
because them fines be very, very healthy
if they inappropriate.
So I said, let me keep it basic real quick
because I didn't think about it yet.
So, of course, I had hit the Dion,
because Dion, one of my favorite corners of all time.
Go to the sideline, turn up a little bit,
but, man, that's a great way to start.
You know what I'm saying?
I am trying to get into the 30 club right now.
I'm at 27.
Your boy, you only need three modes.
I am trying to get way more than that.
I'm not selling for the 30.
I'm selling for whatever, you know,
the Lord blessed me with.
But we go see the then, man.
We got plenty more time in the season.
You know, it's only about week one,
really get ready to go on a week two.
so we go see.
And y'all, man, I know that pick was amazing
because, you know, the return skills made it amazing.
The pick was against me.
You know, that's just me being in the right spot
at the right time, you know, so,
and I just made a play about, you know,
with my guy athletic ability to get on out of there
and use that speed I got.
But the play of the game that I made
was when that deep ball happened
and I turned around,
still running full speed.
I let you know how fast I'm still.
is because I, come on, everybody thought I was beat, but nah, I wasn't beat. Running them down.
I should have had two. I should have had two of them guys, man, two picks. It would have been
crazy. Y'all would have went crazy. I ought to went, look here, my night would have been
over with. Look, I would have ended my night. Hey, coach, sit me down. Let me chill. You know, I got two of
them guys, you know what I'm saying? But, hey, it didn't happen. But that play there was the
best play of my life since I've been playing in the league. And only but D.Bs will
understand this, but I'm going to try my best to make y'all understand why I'm
coming from. So, okay, I'm seeing the formation.
Da-da-da, seeing it, see the tips. I got an idea of what's going to be happening.
The guy that I thought was going to run the right route, he didn't run that route.
He ran a different route. So I'm like, oh, man. So I had to counter it.
So it's called a speed turn. So that's when, you know, we're going this way and you speed
turn the other way. So I speed turn, flip the head, got around, still leaning and locating
for the ball. Bam, running, full speed. And still to attack the ball at high
point, I'm trying to tell y'all, that is some elite, lead level type of shit.
I'm talking to my real deal.
Like, y'all got to understand it's like, y'all know how hard it is for a guy to be running
full speed, speed turn, turns back to everybody, still looking up in the air to track the
ball down and still don't have to try not to get a PI.
You know what I'm saying?
Because y'all know the offense or so everything is a PI because they want to see scope.
So I'm running and I got to keep looking for the ball because I don't want to get the PI
because if I didn't, then I would have jumped straight into them
without looking back, they'll through the flag.
So I'm looking back and running and jump,
and it hit me right here in the hands
into the face when I'm trying to squeeze them in.
So I'm like, bam, I'm like, oh, my goodness.
I'm talking about, look here.
That probably had been on sports centers
for top 10.
I'll have been number one player of year.
That would have been number one player to year.
Besides, after Monday night with that victory pump return,
that was nice.
You know what I'm saying?
they go end the game, that should be play of the year too.
That was a great return by that kid.
But I'll have been top to for sure.
Man, I was just close.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,

Enough about the patrons because
we got to move on.
We play Thursday.
Let's get into these Minnesota Vikings.
They come in home, played them again week two, once again.
You know, last year they came out red hot after playing Green Bay, man, guys.
They were flying around making all type of plays, you know.
They come in this year, man.
They lost their first home game, you know what I'm saying?
First game at home.
So it was tough, you know, real close game, man, real close game, man.
So I watched a little bit of the tape and I've seen a couple highlights, man.
Guys are playing out there, man.
Baker Mayfield had a hell of a game,
you know, definitely being conservative,
playing and making smart plays.
And going into them,
going into Minnesota and coming out with a dub is big for him,
you know, very big.
You know, with Minnesota, man,
I know with a great offense they got, man,
with guys that can make a lot of plays.
And y'all already know who can make all the plays.
And, man, that's Justin Jefferson, man.
One of the best receivers in this game, man.
One of my hardest matchups I ever had, you know,
one of mine that's top six, seven, eight that I don't
played in my whole career at the receiver position, man.
He one of the best ones I ever went again.
So, you know, I got him again coming again week two.
So, you know, I'm always looking for the challenge, man.
I know y'all are hype about this because what happened last year?
Last year was last year.
I'm sure this man, offseason plan was working hard, getting better, the same way as mine.
So, you know, we've got to just go ahead and compete, man.
I always going with a clear mind, you know, I'm always excited for a great matchup, man,
because he's an amazing player, man.
Like I say right now, he's at the top of his game.
You know what I'm saying?
Young running, man.
You can see it on film, man.
He loves the game.
He got a big passion about the game, man.
So I always look forward to playing the best in the world, man.
He right now, he's one of the best players in the world right now, man.
Y'all just seen on top 100, he was number two.
So I'm just saying.
So we all voted, you know, definitely for the top 20 position,
even though the top 100 sometimes playing,
maybe bulljizing.
But the top 20, that's the route we really only can vote for.
A lot of guys had him top five player this year because he was going crazy.
So, you know, but I'm not surprised, man.
He's a talented kid, man.
So we're looking forward to the matchup.
I know I am.
I probably know he is.
And we got to get it going, man, because it goes takes the whole defense to stop this type of guy, man.
It's type of offense because I don't never do it by myself.
It's a team effort.
Got an amazing pass rush.
I need them to always get there fast as they possibly can.
So I don't have the cover alone.
Plain and simple.
You know what I'm saying?
The fast as they get there, the faster the ball got to.
come out and the fastest I can react to anything I need to happen. So like I said, man,
we as a team and a defense looking forward to the matchup against these Minnesota Vikings,
man. And man, one more topic before we go, man. Shout out to my boy Smitty, man, for being a
new dad, man. Congrats, man, to a beautiful baby girl. I've been trying to tell Smitty, I am the
god daddy. Please make me the guy daddy because I thought we're becoming besties. You know what I'm saying?
I give you all the tips. We be together all the time at work. We sit by
each other. We are besties. So, hey,
you need the guy that in hand. Let me know, man. I do love baby girls, man. And I must say here,
look, the past years I've been here and people have kids and they got a game the next day,
been having a crazy game because I had my baby boy last year, no, two years ago against
Carolina. And I caught two picks when my baby boy was born. My boy Smitty had his baby
Saturday, had it come to the game Sunday. My boy, my boy,
We call it tug.
You know what I'm saying?
It just seemed like I ain't saying out here to go make babies.
But we can get these dubs and tubs and stuff.
But, well, them babies are a blessing.
That's what they do, man.
They bless us at a great job, man,
because that's what we do it for most of all.
We do love the game.
But, of course, we do love the part about us playing for our family,
be able to support our family in all kind of ways.
And they get the cherished kind of moment with us.
So, man, look here.
I got kids.
I ain't trying to have them all.
but look like I need to pop one out
just for the benefit of I could get two quick picks or something.
That would look like.
I ain't going to shoot.
I ain't going to curse myself.
Let me lock on wood.
Hey,
anybody on my team right now?
Y'all want to make a baby.
Go ahead and make one.
And let's get going.
So we can go score some touchdowns
and we'll catch some picks or something.
And Smitty, I got some advice for you.
Take you some naps at work now because when you go home,
ain't no sleeping.
Ain't no sleeping.
It's get up time.
It's got to do this.
You got a rock of the sleeve.
I know you want to play with a, no, you better get your sleep at and work.
And doing the little breaks, you got probably like an hour break.
I don't have better take a good power nap.
Because when you get home, power naps are over.
Baby girl, go wanting that attention.
And I know you're going to want to give it to her attention.
So, hey, better find that time to get that nap in because I need you ready to go.
So, hey, if I did the holl at coach, coach, let's give him a power nap.
You know, you got a lot going on at home.
Baby girl ain't letting him sleep.
Let me know.
We're going to chop it up with coach.
But get that nap.
Man, that's all I have for y'all, man.
Appreciate y'all coming in, man.
Y'all thanks for watching, man.
I will be back here after the Minnesota Vikings game, man, this Thursday.

Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy,
not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.
