Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the I-Hard Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.
Clifford Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits,
my basketball and college football journey,
or my career in sports media.
Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement
to my brand new podcast, The Clifers Show.
This is a place for raw,
unfills of conversations with athletes,
creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard,
but celebrated.
So let's get to it.
Listen to the Cliford show on the I-Hard Radio app,
Apple Podcast,
And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok podcast network on TikTok.
What's up, everybody?
It's your boy, Big Play Slay here, man.
And I know what's going on.
I hear the rumors.
I hear all everything.
I see it everything over the globe, all over the internet.
And I just want my fans to know, Slay did not ask to be traded.
But this is part of the business.
It's no bad bud against near one of the, near one of us.
me or a Howie, none of that.
We all good, very understanding.
Just the business part of it, man.
A lot of guys go up for trade, you know,
it got a lot of money involved in this situation.
So it's nothing big, nothing too serious, man.
This is part of the business, man.
And I do want to finish my career as an eagle,
but we'll see, you know, we'd be looking forward to it, man.
You know, got time here, but best believe I do want to be an eagle.
But, you know, if my job requires me to go elsewhere,
then I go.
You know, I'm enjoying my love.
Fun.
You know, I got a lot of the years left in this game, man.
I love this game, man.
So it's only right for me to finish y'all strong.
And I appreciate my NFL brothers, man.
I see all the love y'all showing me, man.
I appreciate it.
That shows me.
Y'all got a lot of respect for my game, man.
Y'all believe I can come to your organization and help win.
I appreciate that, man, guys.
Shout out to my boy, Cawandre.
Shout out to Micah, but I know about Dallas.
Tough one.
But, man, shout out to everybody that done Cordell, you know, my draft mate, you know, back in the home, back in Georgia, Atlanta.
That's the crib.
And my boy, NBS, man, we'd be having great battles up there in Green Bay.
So, man, I see two little, bro.
I saw the tweet now, even though y'all beat us.
It's okay.
I'm over it almost.
But, hey, man, I'm hoping for anything, any great opportunity, man, to go out of an organization win, man.
So I'm looking forward to seeing this.
I've been here before, you know, so, hey, and I end up as an eagle.
we'll see why I end up now.
Enough about me, fans.
I'm a team player,
and I still see Eagles still making kind of moves out there.
Right now, I just saw that.
You know, they're talking to Hertz.
You know, I'm hoping they backed the truck up for him.
I'm going to back it up, man.
I can see it being a massive contract.
It's no telling right now.
You know, it's a lot of things going on right now.
I see with Lamar Jackson and everybody with the quarterback situation.
You know, I'm hoping they do my boy at Hertz right,
because he's been leading his team in the right direction in the right way.
And then they just got a veteran got back.
BG, the heart and soul of the defense.
I'm talking my major love in the city, the city love him, and he loves the city.
BG coming back on a one-year deal for six mil.
He could have got more easily, probably, but he's a Philly native, man.
He doesn't have made a lot of history here, been his whole career.
He's a dog.
Now, the one I'm most trying to see the most man right now,
to see what my boy, Miles Sanders going to do.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm on the offensive side right now.
I know we got an amazing O line.
And y'all probably feel like fans that anybody can run behind that.
But Miles is very, very special.
I'm talking about a bat can run, hit creases, go to distance.
He can do a lot of great things, man.
So it's going to be crazy with this Eagles new team this year, man.
But I'm looking forward to it, man.
I see they can really feel how he is a magician,
how we can get things done, how he is a great GM.
So I'm looking forward to see these moves he made, man,
because this is a lot of top guys that's in free agency from the Eagles.
He got to make some shake.
You know, I know we're going to bring some good guys in from the draft,
so we're going to see what we're going to do, man.
So this is going to be wild.
This is going to be epic.
Man, there's been a lot of big news going around the league.
Lamar Jackson getting franchise tag.
And we got not a normal franchise tag.
They got a chance to match the contract from another team
and earn two first round picks.
And what's shocking to me that no team jumped on that, not one team.
It's crazy.
I don't know they're trying to wait to go through free agency
or something right now going on, but two first round picks,
that's like, that should be light.
I mean, we just had a guy go by the name of Deshaun Watson,
who ain't played in probably a year and a half,
got three first round picks,
and fully guaranteed.
this contract dang near.
So it got to get done.
I'm talking about,
we're talking about the MVP here, y'all.
I mean, the MVP,
a guy that can really get it done.
A playoff cut up a quarterback,
he got a better running record
within a lot of these quarterbacks
with a hundred million dollar deals
as we speak right now.
So I don't understand what's going on right now
because a lot of teams need a franchise quarterback.
And you already got,
that's one that's proven and developed.
You got that right now
for two first round track pigs.
I don't see how no,
team not going for that, but this is shocking to me. And I'm a big fan of Lamar. And for the people
and the fans that don't know who Lamar is, I played against him. He's hard. He can make all those
throws. He got even better. Buddy is fast. He makes all the great throws. You know, he makes
players. He makes that team go. And he does not even have like a true, true, true, true, true,
too, too, too, too, too, too.
Dominant number one receiver.
Like dominant, like a guy that can just say,
hey, I'm going to line up at X.
I'm going to win my one-on-one every time.
And that's hard to find.
And a lot of these great quarterbacks got that.
And Lamar would be over there competing his ass off.
I don't know if y'all are stats guys,
but I'm a stat guy too.
There's only but two quarterbacks.
They got 100 plus passing touchdowns
and 40 less interceptions in five years.
and that's Lamar and the goat Patrick Mahomes.
And that's big.
To be in that category with them two guys, that's big.
Definitely with Patty.
But Lamar's in that conversation.
Come on, man.
Y'all got to speak facts now.
Y'all got to go look into this because that man's a dog.
Give me his money.
And we can keep going further.
I'm not here to compare quarterbacks.
But if Daniel Jones just got his deal done with the Giants,
I think he'd been a quarterback there four years.
one playoff for parents.
Lamar been a quarterback
five years
and getting a franchise tag
and they don't even want to make an offer
a contract to him, really.
So this is mind-blowing.
Not saying Dan Jones is not a great quarterback
because I think he's an amazing quarterback.
I know I play them twice. He's a guy that smart
McRee's got a great arm, great talent.
I think he took a big jump this year
and I got a lot to do with the coaching man,
so I think he browned. So finally,
they surround him with great coaching.
opinion, but Lamar is an MVP quarterback. And, you know, Daniel Jones is up right now as a
playoff quarterback. And that's, you know, that's a big difference. And come on now. We know
who we take it. We're taking Lamar. Everybody is not saying nothing bad about Dan Jones,
but we all taking Lamar. Let's get that. Come on now. Yeah, y'all got to stop this. But
congratulate to that guy, though. Danio deserves his contract because he played his telloff this year.
and, you know, carried them guys to the playoffs,
man made every big play that he possibly can for that team.
But we all take a Lamar.
So, Hey Lamar, ASAP,
and he's going to be changing somebody franchise
if Baltimore don't get right.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.

A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care which I'm saying.
Yep, that's me, Clever Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, the reactions,
my journey from basketball to college football,
or my career in sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined.
And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators,
and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment.
And the next, we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music.
The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast.
It's a space for honest conversations,
stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger.
So, if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where
you need to be. Listen to The Clifford Show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you
get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network
on TikTok. What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm CJ Toledano, and our podcast Point
is about defying the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin
and finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player
to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level
that we've never seen before. And he knows
without Luca and Austin
Reeves, I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the
challenges of the playoffs. I think
Joker's going to be exhausted this
series because when they don't have
Rudy in the lineup, he has to really
guard guys like Nas Reid. He has to
guard Julius Randall. And then he has
to give us everything he gives us on the night
to night basis on offense. And when I
T's friends stopped by like Quentin Richardson.
We dive into some playoff history too.
Steve Nash will get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying.
He running up the court, licking his fingers,
why he got the ball.
Like, you go through a training camp with that,
Isaiah, you figure it out real quick.
Get your ass up and down the court,
and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
And I'm going to stay on the quarterback topic right now
because the quarterback topic is hot.
I'm talking about hot.
Now, last week, I said that A-Raw might not be going away.
He'll be a cheesehead forever.
But after taking that meeting that I didn't even know we can really do.
Like, I'm thinking, like, how can you just like take meetings with the team?
We starting to get more like the NBA.
Like, people just free picking and going where they're going.
I think it's only for the quarterbacks, though.
Not for everybody else because I didn't get a free pick where I want to,
even though I wanted to be an eagle, but I still didn't get like a free pick.
but he having private meetings.
He got my boy softs out here
doing his stream out here
with the guys on him just
doing everything to recruit the man
and then he's not set up a private meeting.
Like, this is serious.
You know, I was like,
he'll be a cheese head forever,
but now he might be in New York, man.
And it sounds pretty good, as you can see.
The marketing.
He's in New York.
He's going to be the face of New York.
A lot of stuff can go down.
Way more money opportunity.
even though he made a lot of money,
but he's going to make even more money in New York.
I mean, Tomah, he's in that big opera.
That's a lot of money, and they fans love Arroy now.
And he comes in there with that swag he got.
Man, he's going to turn New York City up, you know what I'm saying?
Even though I'm so happy that it's the Jets and not the Giants,
he could turn the Jets up all he wants to long as he'll go to the Giants.
So turn New York up, man, Ayra.
Man, I would hope for you to stay in Green Bay.
because you're my guy.
But if you come to New York, man,
make sure you're down the street,
make sure I just got a key to the house, man.
Let me just pull up, man,
and say, what's up a couple of it?
Man, the Jets was rolling this year.
I'm talking about rolling.
They've got their stuff back on the map.
They was winning games with Zach Wilson
and Matt White.
So that's big.
And you bring A-Ride down behind that O-line
with that young running back
and that great defense,
that's a young defense, too,
at that.
So, ooh,
he got a young receiving court so he could get all the money
because they ain't got to pay the receivers yet
because they still young and the defense still young.
That's a good sound now, I'm peeping you.
I'm peeping you now.
I'm liking it.
I like him what you're thinking right now.
You're thinking about getting you another championship
because you want to be considered one of the greats
and another championship will put you in that category as one of the goats,
as in like you go have your own statue,
Tom will have his statue next to you,
and Peyton will have his statue next to you.
yeah, that's a statue type of move right there.
I like that move, though, but then again, you're on the other side.
And I plan on making it into another Super Bowl, so you have to see about me.
Man, and another thing I saw, man, was a guy I got a lot of respect for me.
I was planning the same division with him for years and years and years.
Man, Adam Dealing, man, how he got released from Minnesota today, man.
It was wild to me because it's not like they didn't get him the shot to be the guy they want him to be,
even though they got an amazing number one receive over there,
which is, you know, Jack.
But as I was watching film, preparing for film against them guys
and watching film all through the year,
because they played a lot of teams that we played,
the elite was not getting to rock a lot.
Like, he was not getting the opportunity to make plays,
and he still was going.
Like, I felt like he was still running great routes,
still getting in and out of his brace.
So that's the only shocker of me.
Like, I think they didn't get him a fair chance
to make the plays that they want him to make,
even though they got a great receiver cord,
over there. I know a little rising guy that could be the great number two man out of KJ. Osborne.
And then with them, no, trading for T.J. Hawkinson. So it's a lot of big officer guys' names over there,
but I'm sure Thielen can still fit in there some type of way. But, man, I hope him beating,
whatever the feeling go, man. I hope he get a fair shot of where he's going at and make an immediate
impact on them, man. Hey, you know what I'm saying? You want to come over here to Philly. You can come
over to Philly. You know what I'm saying? Come on over here, man. You know, we win.
Hey, but I hope whatever you land at bedtime, you find a great home man and make that team do what to do.
And the biggest news on Friday with the trade for the number one draft pick this year,
Chicago to Carolina, that includes them trading they pick in the first round,
and you get DJ Moore and another number one receiver.
So Justin Field is set up pretty nice.
Everybody thought he was getting traded.
Everybody thought he was going to trade him, but they sent him up right now.
They traded for Claypool early this year.
now they just got DJ Moore
and they have Moody
they got some guys over there right now
as in they're preparing for him
to take over
but Carolina
who are going to pick at number one
because that's a lot to be giving up
to be just to move up to number one
and my mind I'm thinking y'all's coming to get the kid
from Florida
you know you got the Cam Newton body
guy that can run a 4-4, strong arm
very very talented
that's what I think y'all doing man
y'all just think y'all slick but y'all just made
a big time mass move, man.
I know y'all got to get a quarterback because there's no way
y'all training up for any other position.
So I think of Richardson would be a great fit for them guys, man.
Cam Newton body like, guy they can run.
Really good creator.
So I think they bring it another Cam Newton back to Carolina.
That's all I got for y'all today, man.
Y'all thank y'all for watching, man.
Make sure y'all stay tuned in for the next show.
Because you never know, maybe tomorrow, maybe two days from now,
maybe next week, it'll be some news going up.
You never know.
So make sure y'all tune in, man.
Your boy, Big Place Lay here.
I appreciate anyone that's tuning in today, man.
Everyone have a blessed day.
