Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

I don't care what I'm saying.
Yep, that's me.

Well, now I'm bringing all of that excitement
to my brand new podcast, The Cliford Show.
This is a place for raw,
unfilled of conversations with athletes,

The volume.
What's up, everybody?
It's your boy Big Play Slay here, man.
We back at it, man.
I got a special, special guest with me,
man, a guy I played with for a little bit,
but got to know him very, very well, man.
He's an underdog story.
He got a great underdoll story as well, man.
You know, I was kind of sad when they released my guy,
but, you know, he went off to bigger and better things, man.
no scholarship offers.
I don't read on the story.
You know, Juco, junior college guy.
And, you know, now he's been blessed enough to be able to have the second year in
Green Bay, signed a $21 million contract extension with them guys, man, led to Packers
with five interceptions, you know, proof return for TDs, third round selection.
You know what I'm saying?
Shout out to my boy, Rousseau Douglas in the building right now.
What's good?
What's good, my guy.
That's good, buddy.
How you doing that?
I'm good, man.
I'm good, man.
You know what I'm saying?
How you been, man?
How your summer been treating you?
How your time been all?
It's good.
I just got back to Jersey just now.
Uh-huh.
But in Florida, working, you know, regular all-season ground.
Same old, same.
Okay, okay.
So I got a question, man.
I'm glad to question, man.
So when did you get drafted to Philly, man?
What did you feel like?
As you felt like as a blessing or a curse because you close to home or how you felt about that?
Actually, it was kind of weird.
Yeah.
Because I saw, I'm at the city.
or whatever and a guy comes up to me.
He got a hat on a scarf and a jacket.
He talked to me and he said, you know who I am?
I'm like, yeah, I know who you are.
It was beat up, you know me.
You know me.
I'm a North Jersey guy.
Yeah, I know.
That's a guy who we always watch, you know, as a guy.
So for me, it was airy and beat up.
Those was my best safety, you know, coming out.
So I'm like, yeah.
And then I went to Philly for a visit.
And I remember Coach Corey came
to me, and we did a workout.
He didn't really want to see me move around too much, just a little bit.
And he was telling me about how he was there when Sidney Jones tore his Achilles.
He was like, man, I don't want to push you too much.
We don't need no injuries.
But it was just funny how he was speaking of it is already like he had both of us already.
Right.
You know, because he was like, yeah, I don't want you to mess up, get injured none.
And I'm like, okay.
I'm like, all right, all right.
And then we both get, we both literally get the second round.
He was second round.
I was third round.
And I was just happy and it was close to home.
So a lot of guys that I live around are either Eagles fans or giant fans.
That's literally the only two.
So it was all happy.
It was a blessing.
But then the worst part about it was tickets and stuff.
Everybody wanted to kind of game.
Everybody calling, oh, we're right.
We can make that drive.
It's on your hour and two minutes.
I just like, all right, but I don't want to deal with that.
So, but everything else, it was good.
I loved Philly because Philly was like me,
hard on yourself.
They just want you to play.
Like long as you play.
They don't care what you do.
And then when you play good, you know it's love in the city.
Like, everywhere you go, they treat you like you everything.
So that was always good.
Exactly.
So I was liking that.
I was liking that a lot.
Yeah, I figure that, man.
I was talking about that other day.
I say, man, look, boy, if I all drafted back at home in Atlanta,
that's the main thing I would have been scared about, man,
about my family company for some tickets.
And it'd be too close to home, man.
That junk getting special, you know?
I'm saying.
Definitely, you know, which I will definitely in Philly and feel it would be
expensive because y'all how about your market which y'all was winning y'all just came off the super bowl run
yeah yeah so i knew it was gonna be crazy for you man but hey i just wanted everybody to explain
this story because i'd be telling the story when they first got the when i first got to fit i was told
this story you was on the team with the team tell me how the first home game come after y'all went
the super bowl and y'all go down to who y'all was who's y'all listening to falcons 17-0 or something
going into halftime and they booed y'all after the uh super bowl ceremony
Oh, yeah.
Oh, they don't care.
Oh, they don't care.
Tell me about it.
But the thing is, that's not even the only game.
Like, I remember beating Denver and we up 50 Zip.
And this was the number one defensive team.
There was a number one defensive team,
and I think we were like top five in officers.
And like, we were up 50 Zip and they were booing us.
Like, score on them more.
Like, and we like, bro, we up 50.
Like, but that's feeling like they just want you to just do it.
Man, we don't care about nobody.
Just beat everybody.
Like, they do it bad and fast.
And I'm like, yo, it's the number one defense.
Like, we are killing them.
And they just, they just wanted more.
It was like more.
You see that Kirby, that Kobe commercial?
More.
Like, we had more.
It just kept, they kept one more.
Hey, man, I was like, man, there ain't no way that stuff that'd be going on.
But now that I'm here for the past.
You see it.
I see it now.
It's really like that.
They really not satisfied.
They really want to, like, break a team.
Like, they want to break a team hard.
And then if you don't do it.
They go boo you about it.
And I understand that.
They definitely going to say something.
You're going to hear from them.
Facts.
So, you know, we spend a short middle of time together.
So what do you remember me about the most, though?
Because I'm going to tell you what I remember about you the most.
Yeah.
Nah, what I remember about truth most is competitive nature was always you.
Like, no matter what it was.
Like, just now, like, we over here saying here arguing who's sexy.
Like, you feel like little stuff like that is always, that's you.
And then you're just a funny guy.
He was always cool.
You know, that banana putty, your wife made.
Wow.
Wow.
I said we told me that too.
I mean, I be saying you pass your body life.
I'm like, damn, I wish I was there for it.
But now that, that was good.
But it just, and you was a vet, but you gave game.
So you know how some people, they try to hold it away from you.
Like, but that's the bet.
Like, when you got knowledge, the best thing to do is to give it away, like,
passing somebody, you know what I'm saying?
And you was always that type of person like, yo, Sue, you're doing this.
But if you, if you were to do this and just take that angle over,
you don't got to work as hard or you don't got to.
dude you could kind of like relax on the play and it was just like I guess this what I had because
when I came in there there was no vet corners right two guys that they were just a year before me
like so they were they were and they was roughed into it so like I didn't have no vet but when you
came you could kind of see the difference of a mindset of like the game really easy but you got
simplify it you can't be out there just doing anything it this is going to tell you this this
this going to tell you that this going to tell you that and that was always one thing I was like
bro, like he was probably one of the best corners that I've seen and like even we didn't play a game together, but like just watching you practice was like, bro, you just know, like, you know what I mean?
And then, you know, I've seen you when you was in Detroit Day, you know, Louie, I was losing over there again.
I was losing, but like I always say, I'm like, he nice, like, you know what I mean?
So it was just funny to just, it was good to see it in person.
I'm close.
Like, okay, this is how I attacks the game.
This is how he attacks his body.
This is how you attacks everything.
So now it's like, okay, now I know how to do it.
And I'm not going to lie when I left.
That's what I started doing.
I said, okay, massages, okay, this.
Okay, this is how you got to put this into perspective.
It was just like this is what you got to do.
If you want to be one of those guys, you know what I mean?
One of the best of the lead.
Hey, that's what that's one thing I said when I first got done.
When I first got there, man, I was a quiet dude,
chilling just trying to fit a room.
But the first thing I felt like was, you know,
I said, Sue would probably
the first one that made me feel
besides Vante,
because I knew Vanté's
he was young.
I said, Sue was the only guy
that made me feel welcome
into the room, you know,
as in like, cool, dapping up.
You could already feel
there was nowhere in a monseley.
It was more like,
what we got, you know,
I'm saying.
So then he was the first person
like to ask questions
about like how to do this,
how to do that,
you know, do this and do that
kind of stuff.
And I was like, yeah,
bro, like the work.
And that would be motivated me.
I said, bro, I want to work.
And I like that.
And I said,
I remember all the,
times we was after practice doing a footwork drill angle cutting off and stuff like that i said yeah so
i already knew when you left i said man somebody's got a great deal with sewer because i already know
he go he only needed somebody to you know look up to as an event to get this game going because
once you come off a winning team they just think you need to know it right now you know what i'm saying
with them coming off the super bowl they expect people to come in and just buy in buy and buy in by and
with it just because it's going in but you need you need true veterans that go sit there
down and like talk to guys and willing to coach guys and have patience to work with guys.
And at that time, y'all boys ain't had no like older corner.
So it was good for me.
I'm like, damn, man.
I was trying to could have worked with Sewell a lot longer, man.
I know, bro.
You know what I'm saying?
It's been like crazy.
I was like crazy.
I was going to see how I go.
Yeah.
I was saying the same thing.
So, man, with that being said, you had a journey all across the league.
You know, we went to Carolina.
Then you went to AZ, I think, after that.
I went the Raiders first
Raiders first
So I went to the Raiders
And then I went to the Raiders
And then I went to Houston
For like two days
I heard like
Bro, it was like the work
Because like I was literally
I'm going to New Orleans
And Houston called me
Because the corner coach was
At Philly with me
I was like I bet
Like I already know him
I know what's going on
I know what type of God love he is
So I'm like
That's perfect for me
But when I got there
I'm like
What's going on?
Like
like I feel like we try on lose like y'all trying to lose like you know what I'm saying and then
how he how he cut me was uh what's uh I don't even remember the head coach name at the time
because he got fired the year after but he told me like he burned me in he was like look bro like
I'm not going to lie to you like we're not trying to win right now you know what I mean so
I'm not about to let you come in here and compete for a spot these guys have already been here
this is only your second day so we're going to let you go and I remember walking in a locker room
And I'm just like, damn.
I'm like, why did I just come here?
Like, I should have just went to New Orleans and just figured it out.
Because at that time, something had happened in the world.
I don't know if it's a hurricane or something.
So they weren't even in New Orleans at the time.
Yeah.
In Florida?
They were in Florida?
Yeah, it was somewhere else.
They wasn't in New Orleans.
So I'm just like, damn, I should have just went there.
So I'm in a locker room.
And Dino, that was the corners coach that was at Philly that went to, he said.
Yeah.
He'd come in and he talking to me like, yeah, man.
Like, we're going to put you here.
We're going to put you here.
I'm like, what?
I'm like, bro, I just got cut.
What you mean?
You're going to put me here, here, here.
He was like, he was like, you did?
He was like, come on, let's walk down there.
And then you know how, not to say now,
but you know how some people don't got enough juice.
So they can't really.
Come on, man.
You can't go in there talking like that.
Come on, man.
You're going to lose your job coming in here talking about.
And there was one of those.
It was like, oh, yeah, man, we just let him go.
Like, get on out of here.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Get him on out of this.
Stop playing with us.
That's already a lot of work.
Exactly.
So right after that, I was like, I, I bet.
I was sitting in a hotel for like two days.
And then I remember A.Z was like, man, just come up here.
We're going to work.
So I'm like, I'll bet.
AZ was one of the schools that was talking to me when I came out, the draft.
So I was like, I was like, I bet I'm going to AZ.
I went up to AZ.
And AZ is like, I'm not going to lie.
They are like a bunch of thieves, though.
Like, literally.
I heard of a, that's the story I was talking about.
no pads, no nothing.
They don't want you to work.
They got me out there jumping double moves.
I'm playing a run on seven on seven.
I'm like, you can't even run.
They're like, yo, we just went through the bite down
and we're going to throw the ball over top of you.
I'm like, bro, there's nobody going to bite down
on seven on seven.
You can't run the ball or something.
It's a pass.
This is what's seven on seven.
Bro, I'm telling my day out there doing bad.
I'm like, like, what?
So I'm sitting there.
I bet.
And at the time, I think, so my agent text me saying,
And they got four players on scout team, I mean on practice squad that they get to lock in so like nobody else can come get you.
Like nobody could grab you.
So they did that for like four weeks.
And then like the fifth week, they didn't do it.
So one thing I said, I appreciate coach for that one I came to Texas Tech because at that week, my son, it was my son birthday.
And I had doing a surprise party.
And I was like, I probably can't go because we Saturday.
And at that time, we were going to L.A. Rams.
but when you're a practice squad, you don't travel.
So mind you, I've never been to an arena, Arizona arena and nothing.
I've never been to a game.
And I was like, yo, I didn't want to say this at the beginning of a week
because my mindset was I'm always playing until I'm not playing.
But I'm like, now it's Friday.
And I had already bought my ticket just in case he said yes.
So I've been had bought my ticket.
Like, if he do say yes, I'm gone.
But if he don't, I don't care.
Like, I just take my money, give my money back.
He was like, bro, like, I appreciate you attacking a week like that.
Like, you could go home.
So when I left, I guess.
they didn't put me back on a on a on a on a on a on a on a on a on a
on a on a on a on a thing and green bay called me was like uh come on we out so I'm
just getting back off the flight coming back to Arizona don't know and I get like
take calls my agent man answer the phone like what's that what you doing like I'm
getting out of flight I'm like yeah just got back he's like go get your iPad app
and we're going to Green Bay like man I'm all right we out for me so I just
I'm living in a crib but but I'm living in the crickers I just moved out the hotel
you know, they only pay for a little bit.
You get two weeks out of them.
They're not paying no more.
They're not paying no mold.
They get any of that.
They need all that.
So I moved to a crib.
I found this deal somebody gave me that like every month at the end of the month,
the last day of the month, they ask you, do you want to pay for the next month?
So it was perfect for me because I paid one month.
And then once they asked me, I was like, no, I'm cool and got up out of there.
So it was, it would work good for me.
I got the Green Bay.
And Matt, he just got on the phone me.
He was like, look, we just want you to come here and get a credit of season.
Like, that was basically, like, his expectation of me, like,
I'm there, play three games on the active roster.
I would probably going to let you go basically probably because KF had just got hurt.
So they were like, he going to come back and then, you know, whatever happens to you.
That happens.
Exactly.
So when I came up there, we played the Bengals.
I didn't really play the first game.
I learned I was looking at how people react and stuff and respond to giving up stuff,
all that and who you could talk to, who you can't talk to when they, you know, some people
give up something.
You know how I go, bro.
So I'm like, okay.
So now I'm realizing like, okay.
I'm cool.
And then he got,
Keb got hurt again in that game
and messed his shoulder up.
They put a guy in front.
They put a guy in front of me that was Ike.
So now it's him.
He's the last corner of the depth trial that we got.
And then supposedly me,
but I'm not dressed.
So they put him in.
And he played a little bit of that game.
And then we went to Chicago when he started the game out.
They dressed me.
They was like, yo, look,
we're probably going to rotate chewing him in.
But he's going to get the first shot.
If he do good, you're not going to play.
I was like, all, cool.
After the first drive,
they was just like, man.
We're just going to try you.
I go out there and we're going to see.
So I'm like, man, that's the wrong thing to do.
Because I'm like, you know, I'm jumping something.
Everything.
I got to leave myself.
I swear.
I was that first play RPO.
I'm looking.
I'm like, my OG told me that when they own a split, I'm like, they're going to run out.
And Phil's going to throw it.
So I just got to go.
Man, Phil's through that junk so high.
But if you were through it right, I was gone.
So I'm like, I'm getting my groove.
I'm feeling good.
I'm playing.
I'm playing.
all that.
I did mess up one time.
I ain't going to lock.
We were supposed to switch and quarters.
You're not, hey, it happens.
We're supposed to switch and I ain't swift.
And dude was open on the post, but just the feels ain't throw it.
But after that, after that game, it just was like,
all right, well, we're going to let you rock.
Because Kev hurt and you the next one are.
So we'll let it rock.
We play Arizona two games later.
Lid.
Exactly.
So now I'm coming that game, like,
I'm watching that game.
Man, I'm like, y'all cut me.
I got a kid.
I got to kill y'all so I'm talking to the D-Hob and AJ like yeah it's the same practice now like we're gonna have to go at it you feel me you're talking about hall of famous we're talking about that cat but the thing is D'Hop I think D'Hap had one like he had one long catch he was like her he was banged up he micked up so he only played like the first half I think and I was growing AJ I was on a jay side most of the game because he kept coming to the offensive right the defense of left so I'm like I bet so I had him so I was doing good with him and done and then that last play happened and he was
And I got that pick
And after that,
I remember being on a plane
while the next game
and KF had came back
and I was like, yeah,
like, you know me,
I already know how the lead works.
That's how in my head,
that's how I'm thinking.
I say when a guy comes back
who makes a lot of money
than you make,
he automatically get a spot back.
Come on.
It doesn't matter how good you're playing.
That's his spot.
So when he came on a plane,
I was like, yeah, man,
like, in practice,
like he kept going out there
and I'm like, yo,
it's his stuff.
Like, he bends and he's,
I'm going to take the,
back road and then Matt pulled up on me like why you keep doing that i'm like i know how the lead
works he had to explain like now we don't do that here like yeah the best player is going to play
we don't care about no type of money so he was like look you go out the one this you know your
position to lose now so if you want to give it to him tell me that now i could give it to him
but if you don't you bet go out there and take all the rest of the one and i was like you ain't got
tell me me i'm going out there so and from there
just was just kept building and just trying to make play.
Hey, that's what you've been doing, though.
You been making hell of plays, man.
I'm talking about you have.
He was going.
You were slamming.
And you know what I'm saying?
And you know, I was most happy for you.
Definitely, I'm tweeting every game.
My boy with another pig.
You know what I'm playing this game and all that.
And you know, got the Eagles fan, we should they kept him?
Yes, she should have.
Yeah.
I'm going to get in the air.
You know what I'm saying?
You know, you know, I'm gassing them all.
You know what I'm saying?
So, hey, what's the best part about being a packer now, though?
like, what's the best part about it, man?
Because y'all been, y'all, y'all been, you know, I've been in a division for a long time, man.
Yeah.
And that division is on bottom for sure.
Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, that's all division for sure.
Yeah, so I just want to know what's the best part of being in because I ain't once, you know what I want to know how I feel to be one.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But now the thing is, they treat you like men, bro.
Like, you know, like, I've been places where, like, they want you in a building all day.
Like, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's still like none,
it's still work.
Come in.
Nah.
Nah.
Hell no.
I don't know if they might be telling them like, bring your butt home.
When you,
when you finish coaching,
but bro,
when it's over,
they're kicking you out.
Go.
Get the hell out.
If you want to stay there,
if you want to stay there,
be my guest, but we ain't forcing you here all day.
Stay home.
Like,
you feel me?
And it's all about,
like,
they do a lot of mental reps.
Like,
we're going to show you,
like,
where you're going to make your plays
that don't be thirsty for.
We're going to show you.
and play the game.
And if you see something, of course, like, your instance
going to take over always,
but, like, we're going to show you
and we're going to put you in positions
to make plays.
You just got to make them when it comes.
So, like, if you know we already gave you the week all week,
and we're going to run the route,
and that's how, like, OG and them was where it was like,
in practice, they ran so much by the same place.
OG going to give it to everybody, like,
four or five times throughout the week.
So every corner that's going to play,
got the same way.
So you're going to see it so much.
So now in a game,
even if you're going to be,
want to jump it, you go jump it because you just seen it too much.
And it, and it just was like, that was just the biggest thing I was like, bro, I love being
here besides that.
It's nothing to do in Green Bay at all.
Like, it's a go time.
It gets dark at 3 p.m.
The sun going to rise at 4 a.m.
Bro, the sun is at 4 a.m.
Like, I'm looking through my blonde son on on me.
I'm like, damn, I'm late for practice.
I get up, check my phone, 425.
I'm like, damn, man, I'm going back to sleep.
Like, that's how it is up there.
But no, no malls for real.
No club.
Damn to no fucking airport.
Yeah, only certain days you can't fly in and fly out.
You can't just be choosing any day.
You know what I mean?
But that's the best part.
And that's why I think when people go out there,
cold is hot.
Yeah.
That's why I think people have the best seasons when they go there because
you don't got nothing.
You're not spending money.
You really just locked in on football.
On football.
You know what I mean?
So besides the coaches and stuff and the players,
it's all like a, it's all love and it's quiet.
And it's just, you see yourself.
So for me,
It felt kind of like West Virginia to me
where it's just, it's a college town
and all you got to do is just play ball.
You've got to do sponsors, man.

I don't told a lot of great stories about your boy Joy and Love, man,
because everybody got this Aaron Rogers thing.
I got a lot of upside for him, man.
I just see him being a very, very talented player.
Man, how it is going against him and practice?
And the difference between or similarities between him and Aaron.
Well, I wasn't there
the whole OTA, so I don't really know what he was doing.
I know last year he was cooking us and practiced some time,
but this year he ain't really been completing nothing against us.
We've been kind of doing our thing on him.
Yeah, on his ass.
We're on him.
We on him, on him.
But I just, I like how he carried himself to the game.
He got that swag to him.
Like, I, like, I hear y'all, but I don't at the same time.
And I'm a, I'm a be myself.
And I think that's what we all, we're trying to take that off his back.
Like, you don't got to be Aaron and A-Roy.
You don't have to be him because honestly, it's only like one or two of him anyway.
You know what I'm saying?
He's already rare.
Come on, man.
You don't see stuff like that, like people like that.
So I'm like, you don't got to be him, bro.
Like, you just got to be you.
And the best you is all we need.
But we got to make sure we keep supporting him.
And, you know, keep being on him because he good, though.
Like, he can make every drop.
can make it.
Like, I'm not seen it.
I don't see it.
He last used to hit us in the pocket with like, no looks, everything, everything.
I'm like, oh, my goodness.
Like, so he got it all in his game.
It's just whatever he want to do he could do.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, so I think it's going to be a pretty good year.
I think people who don't really know what he's capable of doing and they'll see it.
I think the only really glimpse they got was a couple of glimpses of y'all game.
And then like two years ago, he played the whole KC game.
but I think he's a way different player than he was.
You know what I mean?
He makes the right reads.
He can throw every throw.
So to me,
it's all,
once he gets in that groove and he gets his feet wet,
he good.
Yeah,
because you know everybody's going to come in there like,
oh,
A-Rod and I did,
we got him.
And now I was like,
and that's why I told him
because, like,
even, you know,
you got your homies and friends
and they always ask you like,
bro,
he's going to be good.
He's going to be like,
do you know?
Like, I'm like,
I can't tell you yes or no.
I want to let him prove his own
and make his own way because I know when he was going in,
like there was no game plan for him.
Like everybody game plan for the last 20 years was we plan A-Ride.
So this is what we're going to do, A-Roy.
I said, even when he got in and he did a thing,
I said, there was no game plan for him.
Everybody probably just picked the coverage and just branded based off them.
Right.
I said, when we played KC two years ago and they knew Jay Love was playing because A-Roy had COVID,
I said, they gang-planned that based off him.
You know what I'm like, we just got to see and let him be him.
Like, he's right.
I know he can make every throw for sure.
I know he can.
I saw it.
I saw it.
I saw it.
I saw it.
I saw it.
He definitely got it.
He got it on him.
Now, I said, I said, I was on a zip.
I said, okay, he got a, he got a little A-Rod.
And you can tell he's been watching this study.
Of course you jumping out in that trap coverage.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know what time was me.
I'm trying to go get me one.
I said, ooh.
I say, I say, first thing I saw him with,
A-Rod went down, I said,
ooh, young bucking.
He might do everything about a book.
Let me go get some.
And that's the thing.
You know, like, he might throw it.
He let him go.
So when I said, he took that shuffle.
I said, oh, it's slayed by the go get this.
And he threw the, I'm like, yes.
There you know what.
He would have through that flat.
It's gone.
It's gone.
To the crib.
You know what time.
What?
To the crib, man.
So, you know, hey, this with, man,
I'm talking about the whole,
the whole process of the A-Rod
and getting the trade and stuff, man.
you having his phone and all that you got to tell me this story man you got to tell me the story because
i've been like i said this this this this is this right up his alley if y'all don't know so this is
this is this is what he love i'm gonna troll everything i said my dog gonna troll this little bit
he's gonna take it to the mass that it can't possibly reach and i'm like i'm like i can't
i can't i had a right a connection with everything so it was all it was looking like oh yeah he
He might really got his phone.
So, like, my, you know, me and A-Rot, we talk a lot.
Like, I always try to pick his brain because he always be getting me with, you know what.
With the no-lil.
And I'm like, bro, I'm right there.
And it's like, no, you're not.
Like, he'll tell me, like, what do he see and how he knows what to throw it and want to look me off.
So I always try to pick his brain.
And even about, we was talking about that time, he was like, oh, you should visit Africa.
So he was just having a conversation.
And then I was like, man, I'm like, man, like, what you want to do for next season?
And I guess it's before he told anybody.
And he just gave me a rundown of what he thought, how he was going to do it.
So then I seen something on Twitter, and I was like, you know what?
I'm about to troll.
So I texted, I said, yo, look, I'm about to say this.
But I might need you in a little bit for something.
He was like, I got you.
Don't worry about it.
So I was saying I had his phone and all of that.
And then like, all the fans was like, it's no way you got his phone.
It's no way you got his phone.
Like, if you got his phone, like, then say something on A-Rod account.
that you got his phone like say sue someone in i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm like i'm
i'm like yo say this and tweet it real quick so they think i got your phone
and he tweeted it like that's a rod though like he's a rod though like so we were just all
all in having fun with and i was like man i'm gonna take fours full troll of this and just keep
going hey hey i know the fans bro like they're going they're gonna be all into it they don't know
what's really going on i'm like i'm about to get them like and turn twitter up real quick because
my twitter was dry right at that point i'm like man i'm like man i
I didn't get no message.
Then I say that.
I say, you know what?
I'm about to do.
You need some happiness skills because you're playing it good.
Man,
you're playing this good now.
They could put me in a little 2B movie.
They don't even got to be mainstream.
Come on, now.
Tube.
And then if I mess up, they're going,
you know, they're going to cut it out.
They might make me look.
Come on, man.
You can do it now.
You can do it.
I'm listening to this,
Tube.
You feel me?
Come on.
You know, they only got to pay me that much.
I'm going to for the love.
Man, that's too funny, man.
what you be thinking about his uh his retreats he'd be having i don't even know
i was like i was like i remember him used to say that in doing a uh when i was just being
a division too as well i'm like his retreat i'll say i will love to know what the hell
anyway i got to do with his rich ass on the retreat so
he's rich red you know what i'm like bro where did we go i think we went to kc
and so as soon as we got the kc had a helicopter waiting for him he just took off i'm like
bro this this like a different rich like this I'm like I'm in there like you can I go he like if
you really want to you can but I go but I'm like you got just a helicopter just waiting for you to
go somewhere I'm like man that's hey that's that's that's him now that's him that's what he probably
doing but he probably on his retreats and just hopping on planes and just like hey I'm going
go here and then you might be retreating in air right now we probably right now literally right now
right now right now you know what I say you don't even know man he just
that rich, you don't want me, no, bro.
We get that much money. Why not do whatever you want to, let's whatever.
You want to go here? We're out.
You want to go here? I hurry out.
Like, you ain't need nothing to talk. You don't got to set funds away to the side.
You don't got to ag nobody or say.
He ain't gone.
Not the funds he got. Not the goddamn funds he got, you know what I'm saying?
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque. Others say it. Others say it,
It's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast, Superhuman, documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Hey, I'm Jared Adano. You might know me as that loud guy who yells out,
Help on the internet.
Help!
Somebody!
Please!
But there's so much more to me than me.
I'm an actor.
I'm a comedian, and recently, I've become
quite the helper myself.
And on my new podcast,
hope from a hypocrite,
I'll be changing lives,
helping people in need with my sage advice
and thoughtful solutions.
Sike! I'm a comedian!
I'm not qualified to give good advice.
Join me and my comedian friends
as we riff rant and recommend some of
the most legally dubious
advice known to man.
If I'm calling you, even if you're on your phone, let it ring twice.
One ring is too scary.
Cream a chicken suit.
Hey, cream a chicken suit.
This is Help from a Hypocrite, the worst advice from the dumbest people you know.

Nice.
So, man, we know we go against these DB.
So we go against a lot of these receivers, man.
I know we know about the overheads.
You know about it, but what, what's a young receiver that you've been noticing?
That's been sparking it up, a young one.
A young one that's been going crazy.
Yeah, we already know the old ones.
We already know we got the, we got your tase, you got just Tyree.
Who, who's going to be sparking it up, man?
Like a year two.
Oh, I say Waddle, bro.
Huh?
I probably, you'll be sleeping a while.
You got some.
So I was telling him in the game, we talked.
I'm like, yo, I'm in my head, I'm like,
but he got something to him now.
He got a lot to him.
Yeah.
He's spooky too.
And he gets to you like right now.
Like, I be telling people like Tyreek fast,
but I'm like, yo, when Wadu, like, start running,
that don't look crazy.
Right.
I was just telling my room.
I was like, damn.
They'd be like, hey, how fast a cheetah is like,
Cheater and Water speed?
I say, this is a difference.
Cheater speed, it just gets increased, like,
far do he go.
He just go good.
He gets faster,
faster,
faster,
faster,
faster,
faster,
I said,
Wado,
when he go,
he already
top speed right now.
One step he's at
23 miles per hour.
Right now,
I'm talking my,
and I'm like,
I like,
Cheetah did some more like,
like,
you know what I'm saying?
He,
he,
he,
he, like,
a,
like a Tesla,
you know what I'm saying?
Yeah,
that's literally,
that's literally the difference,
bro,
like,
it don't take him long to run,
but like,
he like,
going,
go,
go on,
And it's like, all right, he ran past you.
Really, yes.
It's like, I'm going to run past you like right now.
You're going to have to turn around and full speed run or I'm flying right fast.
Everyone, that's probably telling me.
That's why I was telling you for it's a difference between them too.
I said, man, I don't have seen water, man.
I don't been against cheetah.
Cheetah speed is very much different.
It's different.
But when I tell you, Wada, I said Wado be bringing.
It's just like he, a Tesla, bro.
Like, you know, when you hit the gas, bro, he just, you know, he's just, yeah, he's just, yeah, he already.
100 max.
It's like, it's crazy.
I'm be like,
but he's one of my favorite young guys
besides him,
my boy Smitty.
But other than that,
man,
Wada'll be,
Wada different.
Wado very much different.
I love this game, man.
Who is the toughest dude
your whole career?
The toughest dude.
Like,
you're like,
God, damn,
I got to line up
against that motherfucker
this week.
It doesn't matter
if it's practice
or it's got to be a game.
It doesn't matter.
You know what I'm going to say
if it's pride
that got to be 10.
Hey, man,
look.
It's going to be hard.
It's like,
I just saw it.
Jefferson to close two,
but Tate,
he is,
he,
I think he won.
But,
because I think,
and that's why I say
Tate still won now.
Like,
he know the game too well.
And the thing is,
like,
I'd be telling other people,
like,
they'd be one of,
they rush routes,
running too fast.
Like,
Tay is like Paul Piers,
you never going to make him
speed up his game.
Like,
it's going to be slow.
It's going to be slow.
Like,
he's not slow.
I would never say Tate's low
because he got burst.
He controlling the game.
That's all you doing.
That's what it is.
It's the like, I'm going to play at this speed.
So when you play this speed or slower because you might be faster to me, when I hit my speed, you're going to be ready to hit yours.
And I'm going to get that step.
I'm going to gain that step.
Every time.
Lay hands is never on time.
Never on time.
His amazing lay hands amazing.
Bro, the bar goes past his shoulders before he even reach his hands up.
So by time you wait at DB, you only literally have this much time to get it because he literally let it go past.
And it's like, oh, catch.
I'm like, man, you know, I've been traveling against him all my career for first seven years.
His first six, my first seven.
And I'm talking about brother just, I'm like, God, damn, bro.
Like, hey, and we'll make him still number one to me now?
At first, okay, like, all right, A ride was a difference.
But the fact that he's, the fact he was just went to.
It doesn't matter.
I mean, I always thought it didn't matter after when he got probably out of year three, year four.
Like, it doesn't matter.
Bro, he really just liked that.
You know what I'm saying?
He really, really liked that.
And if you play it's something, you could tell he really just like that.
Yeah, he's going to win you five games just by lining up.
Yes.
Being out there, he's going to win you five games.
Easily.
And then the fact that, he did that shit with Derek Carr, then did it with the backup
after that.
I said, all right, yeah, bro.
I like, Tay, there's nobody close to him.
I'll be telling him people like, you know, I love, I love Jet Game.
Jet Nice.
He nice as hell.
He nice as hell.
But Tayman, he just, uh.
I watch Baltimore.
I watch Baltimore literally put three.
people on the whole game.
A-Raw really looked at him and said,
I'm going to throw you the ball.
Throw you the ball.
Anyway.
I saw the double in the red zone.
I saw the double in the red zone.
And he shaked a,
he sent him up to go like,
you think I'm going over here,
bam,
got open.
Like,
both say to Zelling him.
What are you throwing just out of the outside?
It's so hard.
It don't matter.
That's TA.
And the thing is,
I watched this,
like, you know,
watching it during the lead,
but like being on the same team,
it's like,
I always stand up when the office is going
because I'd be just trying to see what's going on.
Like, I watched people who tried to, like,
bake A-Rah out of throwing it to Tate on backside.
Like, I remember who was it for the Vikings?
He was guarding on there.
He was playing two men.
You know, Harrison Smith, he always started the line of scrimmage.
Yeah.
He was trying to run out late.
So he started at the line of scrimmage like he was glisting.
And he ran to Tate on a double.
A-Rod looked at him and told Tate, like, and threw it to him.
I'm like, I'm like, bro, they literally doubling him.
They don't matter, bro.
Look, we had him a couple of, we doubled him a couple of times.
When I was in Detroit, they still were throwing that motherfucker.
Go it, Tom.
It's like A. Robby, he'd be trying to be disrespectful.
Like, I see it, but I don't care.
It's me and it's him.
Like, it's two of the best, and I feel like we're going to complete it.
Yeah.
All the time, bro.
All the time, man.
I was like, I just got to give it to him now.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like, he won to me for show.
But I was saying, too.
He too.
For show, too. For show, too. For sure, too. For sure, too. Easily.
but yeah but take that dude man
but uh this was funny right
so we can't I play when I play with the Lions right
we played y'all right
a lot of age
yeah we played y'all all the lines that we came down here
in Spain j'all and uh spain y'all and y'all
y'all could have won but we were spaint job
but we ain't gonna get into that but uh
hey so with me coming as your teammate
2020 right dang bro
I like soul's a cool dude like
so cool but you be talking so much shit so why you're such a
a humble guy, but you talk so much
shit between the line of screaming. Like, you do total
opposite to me. Like, I'm a humble guy.
You both humble, but I don't talk no shit.
But you? Oh, my
God. So it's like, you don't need,
you don't hit the nest of it. I never, you never
hit the last of it. You don't. I'm talking about it. It don't matter
if you don't got beat, whatever. You come to
the side line. You talk his shit.
So what makes you like that?
Oh, I don't even know. I just
like it. You know what I'm saying? And if you'd be saying
like funny stuff to you say you just be like I bet like I don't care like my thing is I ain't gonna say
nothing disrespectful you know what I mean like yeah I don't play about kids wives
mothers fathers I don't do all that I just say something about you but like I mean you trash I don't
worry that like I'm talking to you trash and I just like talking to the coaches and stuff like that
but that time just make the game fun you know what I mean like you just be sitting there and
everybody just playing a game and ain't no passing it's like what we're doing here bro like
I'm going to bring out your best.
I'm going to make you play better.
You're going to make me play better.
And we're going to have a great battle,
whatever, win, win, we'll see each other
the next time we see each other whenever that is.
So that's how I always bet even when I started playing.
It would just talk trash and back it up.
Yeah, yeah, you do now.
You do now.
But, hey, one thing you never did was talk trash
and was successful with it with me
because I always continue to whoop your ass consistently.
You know how you whip your ass in that shot of box?
I can't say that because you beat me out of the game.
I did beat you.
I told my right, right, after the game, you thought it was sweet.
I said, so I know what I was recorded that junk and then show me that you did.
And you were like, done.
Like, right after the game, soon the game over with, I got you, shout out Boston champions.
That's crazy, but you walked straight to me and then shadow boxing.
It wouldn't, it wasn't.
Come on, man.
It wasn't no talking.
Literally two hells that day.
Yeah.
It was like, it was no talking.
Man, I told Tade him on the sideline.
I told him on the sideline.
I say, he got to see me right now.
Right now, ain't no talking.
Y'all, come on.
I used to kill you, though.
I was really the chat.
You know, you had home for advantage.
I was a guest at that time.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Now I'm not at your home.
That's my home advantage.
I've got a home advantage now.
That's crazy.
It changed.
It changed.
You know, I said.
Hey, so a little off the football right now, man.
You know, I said, you know, I'll be in you on Twitter.
We want to be following each other, man.
Yeah, I saw the ESPN ask about, man, who got the smoothest game,
Kobe Carrey, Paul, George.
And I, and I saw you come out here with.
with Joe Johnson.
You know what I'm saying?
Which is Joe Johnson, I do think
he got a smooth-ass game, but
you know I'm going to play about Kobe now.
So you got to stop playing my dog.
I know, but you're a Kobe fan,
but not playing my dog.
So look, that's what I always said.
Preach, preach, preach.
I'm listening.
Two years ago, I said,
I'm never debating LeBron,
Joe, and Kobe.
They're going to be 1A, 1A, 1A, 1A,
and then it's going to be a space
and then we can talk about anybody else.
Because I don't think that conversation
will ever end.
Before it start, you're going to like them at the end,
and it don't matter how many facts I bring to you,
it's going to be like, nope, so the Kobe fan.
Like, there's no facts you could give me to make you change my mind
about Kobe is better than LeBron.
And I think the only argument you ever going to make is,
oh, he got firewreys, and he wanted to shoot the last shot.
But that doesn't, like, you know what?
That doesn't make him better.
Like, so.
I understand what you're trying to say.
I understand what you're trying to say, though.
But so your thing, we're going to take Kobe out of this.
So you're saying out of Kari, Paul,
George and Mello, you think Joe Johnson got the better smooth the game on all, though.
I don't think his game is better than their game.
I don't think nobody's as one.
You know, it's different, though.
Everybody got a smooth game.
He is real smooth.
Like Joe Johnson, I used to watch him.
I'm like, I'm like that.
But it looked effortless.
It's like, it's like, I'm like, that's.
But if I was to go, my three smoothest games right now would be,
Carrie
Not not
It's just not a leave right now
But Kyrie
Jamal Crawford
And Joe Johnson
Those would be my three
Who I like
Because I like all the creativity
stuff like
Oh yeah
Like so
But you're not creative like that
You're not let down
The court though
You're a defense
A guy
You're out there
You out there for
You're out there
You out there just
You're out there just five five
I got some clips
I got some clips
You all right
No I'm going
I'm going
I'm going to foul for show
But I'm going to tell you
I filed you
And if you call it, then we're good.
All flakish.
I really could shoot, though.
You're all flablers.
Nah, I ain't going to find it by that hard because I don't want to buy it.
I saw me that hard.
But I might mess up a shot.
I might hit the elbow a little bit on the side, make you miss.
But now I really could, I really can hoop, though.
You see my clips.
I'm pulling.
I don't see nothing.
When you guard me, so as I pull past half court, you better be right there.
I'm going to shoot it every time.
Man, I got clamps.
I'm damaged.
And you and me one-on-one.
If you're going to 21, I'm giving you straight, 21 straight points.
You ain't not going to be told the ball.
You can't guard me.
I could tell you shoot from behind your head like this.
That's how I know I could beat you.
It can be for behind the head if you wanted to be because it's going in.
It's going in.
And guess what?
If I'm shooting behind my head, you can't block it.
You can't block it.
Can't be a block it.
You know what I'm saying?
Came in a block it.
Can't block it.
I'm probably one of, I'm probably top five in the league right now that can play basketball.
I'm probably top five.
No, no, no, I'm probably top five in an NFL jersey that can play basketball.
Literally.
Okay.
Literally. All right.
You can say you top five.
You can say tall five because you know, as long as you behind me.
As long as you behind me.
I don't know who else.
I only know, only know a few that could really, really hoop.
Take a who.
As I'm sad.
Take it would be in the five.
But there's no order, though.
The five is just the five.
But he would be in there.
Yeah.
take a hoop.
Anna Robinson would be in there.
Yeah, A-Raw can really hoop.
That's what I'm saying.
So I got a couple that can really hoop and then.
Yeah, A-R-R-Goo.
But he can really hoop.
He might be the best in the,
he might be one of the best in the least.
He hoop like, he do everything.
How he doing that feel with that?
He do that on the court.
Yeah, he's doing on the court.
You can see in his body.
That's how he's going with a cop.
Yeah, he do it on the court for real.
He really do.
He smooth.
Hey, so my last question for you,
Ben, come on now.
I saw you talking about
the chocolate chip cookies, man.
This past week, too.
I'm taking sugar cookies
over chocolate chip cookies
any given day.
Hell no.
Hell no.
Sugar cookies do be hitting, though.
Come on, bro.
They do, but.
Stop playing on sugar cookies.
It's something about the chocolate
when it's melting a little bit
right off it.
It do it.
Every, the never misses.
And you can't eat a sugar cookie
with nothing.
You got to eat that regular.
I could dip a chocolate chicken and milk and turn it up a little bit extra.
If I'm trying to wear out, oh, I can just eat it regular and it's still going to be fine.
So I feel like I got more advantages.
But the sugar cookie, you can put all type of stuff or you can put sprinkles on it.
You can put M&Ms in it.
You can do whatever you want to.
You can do whatever you want to.
But what could you're drinking with?
What should you go drinking with?
Right now.
I'm drinking with some Kool-Aid.
See?
Now, if I get a chocolate-tip cookie, I can do whatever and that and I can put M&M&M and
something cookie like ice cream don't go no sugar cookie yeah dude oh stop how many times okay okay
how many times have you had a sugar cookie white cream i mean i didn't do it but i know you
exactly how many times have you had a chocolate white cream like chattel white spring exactly
right exactly i get you that i gee that one i get that i get that i get that you made a point then
But still again, though, I mean, I'm taking sugar cookie over all that.
Hey, man, it was good to have you on, man.
That's Sarah, bro.
Appreciate you coming on.
Oh, my God, man.
Continue to keep being an amazing father first.
You know, then, you know, we're about the career later on.
But, man, keep being a ball player, man.
Make sure you have a good all-season, man.
A healthy training camp.
You know, have all pro seasons.
I already know what you're capable of doing, man.
So I see on the dark side.
Y'all just don't make it to the industry championship because if y'all do,
you'll go see by us and y'all go lose.
And we're going to win.
kind of get out of late back.
All right, world.
Appreciate you, man.
All right, man.
You have a blessed one.
Yes, sir.
