Well, it is rare in a big game when you kind of predict how it's going to turn out, and it actually looks like you predict that it would come out. I said on FS1 today, Kansas City, a lead at halftime, on script, Andy Reid off a buy, I'll get him a lead.

And then they will struggle because they have no real identity. They have a good young defense, and Mahomes and Andy Reid are great. But what are they offensively? Mahomes being great and Andy Reid scripting a dozen plays is not an identity. It is a series of plays that will give you a lead. But in this league, games are won after halftime when you play really good teams. And I said, Philadelphia will be down. They'll find their footing somewhere late in the third quarter, mid-late,

third quarter, and they have a greater understanding of what they are. Philadelphia is a flawed team. I swear to God, they were outplayed by Dallas. They were outplayed tonight. They were outplayed by Washington. Chiefs fans are saying, we outplayed them. Let me tell you, all Eagle games look the exact same. Sort of the Jets, they just think. Eagles don't. All their games look the same. It takes them a while to find their footing. Remember last year, Philadelphia got off to these incredible leads, played reserves, bad quarterbacks. This year, it's the opposite. They can't find their footing early. They experiment.

They can get too cute. And then they come out third quarter at some point, and they start getting into third and short, brotherly shove. They get first downs. They eat the clock. They know who to get the ball to. They get less cute and make one big defensive play. And they win the game.

I thought, Philadelphia, this is what I said today on FS1. They have a greater understanding of what they are. They're not a perfect team. They're not very good at corner. They struggle in the secondary. They're not a great team. But the sum of all these parts kind of conjoined, they make for a team that they kind of know what they are. They kind of know what they're not.

They experiment early. But they're like a baseball team that's good from about the seventh inning on. They got a good bullpen. They got some good situational hitters. They're well managed. They kind of know what they are. whereas Kansas City has a great coach and a great quarterback and a legendary tight end, but I'm not sure what they are other than a bunch of number three and four receivers.

You know, Juju Smith-Schuster, you know, we all sort of rolled our eyes at that one year of pretty good production. They miss him now. He's a two. I don't think they have a two. I don't think they have a number. I mean, Watson, that's your guy? He's getting all the targets. They didn't really separate from people.

So I still think Kansas City is good enough to get to the AFC chance. championship. And would Joe Burrow out, I think they're good enough to get to the Super Bowl. But what you're seeing with the Chiefs is pretty repetitive. You have an excellent young defense that, you know, right now is more consistent than the offense. And that's never been the case in the Patrick Mahomes dynasty. Chiefs defense, I know what I get every, I know what I get every week. Fast, good tacklers. They can put real intense pressure without bringing extra people. I mean, they give the Eagles fits in the first half up front. But this is, listen, all dynasties, you know, Brady early in New England.

It was all about defense, special teams. And then in that 10 years in the middle, they didn't win a Super Bowl. And then at the end, it was the offense being more productive than the defense for a few years, Gronk, Aaron Hernandez, West Welker. And then in the end, Brady left because he couldn't get wide receivers. And the defense was good with Belichick, but they didn't have any separators on the perimeter offensively. So, you know, all these dynasties, they ebb and flow.

And so this started with, you know, Tyree Kill and Travis Kelsey in his prime and Mahomes ascending. And they looked unbeatable. They could play from behind. This is not a Kansas City team that can play from way down. They can't. They just don't have the personnel. So we had said at the trade deadline, they have to go out and get somebody. They have to go out and get a legitimate number two.

And they really didn't. They went and got a Jets receiver who was. familiar with a system, but it's not a two. So they don't have a one or a two. And Travis Kelsey is showing his age. He's, I couldn't tell the last Chiefs game I watched that he wasn't hobbling at some point. In terms of Philadelphia, I just love Jalen Hertz. God, I love Jalen Hertz. I love the tangibles. I love the intangibles. I mean, if you told me the perfect personality for a quarterback, it's not Brady, it's not Montana, it's Jalen Hertz. He is. so focused. There was early in the first half, there was a play at the line of scrimmage

where he had called something and Jason Kelsey the center waved him off and said, no, no guy, but you're going to follow me on this. And for him to cognitively sort of want to go one way, watch his center, listen to his legendary first ballot hall of fame center, and follow him on the draw. I mean, to be able to do that, you've got to have an incredibly high IQ and EQ. I think Jalen Hertz is, I just love his personality. I love his game. How about that deep throw down the sideline? He is so good in the moment. And I think so much of what makes Jalen Hertz special is, A, pain tolerance, he can play hurt, no game's too big, doesn't get too high, too low, not overly emotional. I feel like I get the same quarterback. Also, over the

of the game, Jalen Hertz feels the game out. He sees what's working. He sees what's not. He's thinking the game, not playing the game. I just, there's so much I love about him. He's got, he's got that Brady chip on his shoulder, but it doesn't get in the way of performance. He's not trying to prove anything on the field. He's thinking his way through a football game. And I think Nick Seriani did just enough in the second half, just enough adjustments. They put a spy on Mahomes. I thought they got a little less cute. cute in the second half, kind of went back to their identity. They're a power football team with the ability to go over the top. A lot of people think they're a passing team. In terms of attempts,

it feels like that, but I still think at their core, they're a physical football team that at the point of attack, you lean into Jalen Hertz's decision making, his power, the screen game, with the ability to go over the top. Kansas City, I don't think they know what they are. They just have some talented people. So, listen, it wouldn't shock me if these two teams meet again. Right now, if I had to guess, I would put the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl, Kansas City, Baltimore, and the AFC Championship, Philadelphia, I think eventually they'll figure out a way to beat San Francisco, Detroit, or Dallas. I think Dallas will be a live underdog in the playoffs. I mean, they're secondary without Trayvon Diggs is making plays. I think they're going to win

a playoff game. I don't think they're going to win multiple playoff games, but this Philadelphia team is so good situationally. You know, you get into the NFL playoffs, man, the margins just shrink. And I think, I know it's just going into Thanksgiving, but doesn't it kind of feel like we know who's really good? Philadelphia, Detroit, Dallas, San Francisco, that's your four in the NFC, Kansas City, Jacksonville, Baltimore. I think that's it. I don't trust Miami. I don't trust Buffalo.

Burroughs gone. I think that's it. I feel that's a seven-team Super Bowl bubble. Philly, Dallas, Detroit, San Francisco, Kansas City, Baltimore, Jacksonville. That's it. Well, if Kansas City won, I was going to have to go on first things first. with Nick Wright. Instead,
