Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:00:12 We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know, tired and sick. Tired and sick.
Starting point is 00:00:28 Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you. you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy. Not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
Starting point is 00:00:45 This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel. Help an Acapella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed. And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place. I'm Akela Hughes, and Rebel Spirit, season two,
Starting point is 00:01:49 is about both of those things. As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority black city, in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslave people. Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Every family has its secrets. But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life? That is not the look of an innocent man.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Is everyone lying to me about who they are? I felt such desperation. I felt it was what I had to do. Listen to deep cover the family man. on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, thanks for listening to the Covino Enrich podcast. Be sure to catch us live every weekday from 5 to 7 Eastern, 2 to 4 Pacific on Fox Sports Radio.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Find your local station for Covito and Rich at Fox SportsRRcom or stream us live every day on the IHeartRadio app by searching FSR. Oh, yeah, doing it live in Vegas. We are pool science, circa. Honestly, hour two. Rich almost fell in the pool. Oh, my God. It's getting crazy because we've got so many friends and listeners and people here.

And after the show, Rich, our podcast goes up. If you miss any of today's show, any show ever, listen to the podcast. Search Covino and Rich. Wherever you stream your podcast, Danny G.

Thank you, Vegas. All right. Man, everybody having a great time in the pool and in between commercials. This is why you've got to come.

Again, Stadium Swim, Poolside Broadcast, Vegas. The official kickoff of summer, summer weekend, Juneteenth weekend. And we have a big party tonight at the Legacy Lounge, rooftop, fireworks, everyone's dressing up, having fun. And then tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:04:11 I heard there's going to be, you know how instead of fireworks now, they use drones? Yeah. They're going to make one of your face. Nice. Is that true? Pitching like Fernando Valenzuela? Yes, exactly. I love that.
Starting point is 00:04:22 So tomorrow, if you follow us on Patreon, too, we're doing a very special Saturday broadcast from Atomic Golf. And another party here at Circa after that. again it's a pleasure bringing the fun to you I'm Steve Covino that is Rich Davis and Perfett and Jay Stewart back at the studios 877 99 on Fox we're gonna get to weekend hobnobbing what you need to watch this weekend the first official weekend summer weekend extravaganza now you got to took a little NFL too now Yahoo Sports this is great put out their top 10 quarterbacks headed into the 2025 season now listen
Starting point is 00:05:00 Kavino and I before we worked mostly in sports now. We used to work for Maxim. Remember magazines back in the day? Remember magazines, print media? What are those? And I remember every year they would come out with like the Maxim Hot 100. And you make a list a lot of times just to upset people and get them talking. But here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:05:20 You don't want it to seem so obvious, right? Like there's an art form to it. But you're right. Lists are created to get people to speculate, to get people to talk so it can go viral. I remember you and I. I feel a little obvious. You and I back in the 2000s, it would be like, and the number one girl, Lindsay Lowe, and you're like, more than Megan Fox.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Like, you know, you would debate any list that's put out. But Yahoo puts out the top 10 quarterbacks. And all that does is get people to immediately say, who doesn't belong and who did they screw over? Charles McDonald of Hadoo. Yeah, he also caused a lot of controversy. He has people apparently raging. Raging. about this list. So I'm going to count it down again. Charles McDonald's top 10
Starting point is 00:06:05 quarterbacks entering the 2025 season according to Yahoo Sports. I think you shouldn't do it Spider-Harrison, Seacrestall. I think you should start at number one because I think one, two, three, four, five is sort of where it's like, okay, I get it. And I think the bottom is where it's like, whoa. All right. So in it number one, you really can't debate it. Patrick Mahomes. Better believe it. No. I'm honored, but again, it's obvious, of course, number one. No doubt. With the fans, number one in life, number one.
Starting point is 00:06:39 So, I mean, he's arguably the biggest winner of this generation. I'd like to thank my parents, not so much my father, but... Or your brother? Or my brother, but thank you for the honor. And, yeah, number one. So Mahomes, obvious. Number two. Lamar Jackson.
Starting point is 00:06:58 And you know what? Can't debate it. You could say Josh Allen, but he's right there at number three. So you interchange him. Some would say Allen. Some would say, you know, Joe Burrow, number four again. Really can't debate that either. I think now is where it starts to be like, huh.
Starting point is 00:07:11 I mean, it's a good one, but I wouldn't put him above any one else on the top three. Danny G., would you also agree the top four sort of set in Mahomes, Jackson, Allen, Burrow. Like, it would be hard to argue not those four. Yeah, people would maybe interchange those four, but those should be the fours. Keep in mind, too, this is entering the season. Right. Some might totally change that order, but I think I hate the Mount Rushmore term. But right now you would say Mahomes, Jackson, Allen, Burrow, in whatever order you choose, those are you for. And because of last season, I would have Jalen Hertz at five, maybe at four.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Well, Herbert is at number five. Justin Herbert at five. Huh, huh. Now here comes the huhs, okay? Well, the ha is because he hasn't won a meaningful game. And last year in a meaningful game, I believe, but it was like no tutty. five picks. I'm just guessing. It was something like that, right? It's made any money
Starting point is 00:08:03 moves? Nothing that I can really think about. I mean, stands out. Herbert. I think Herbert's one of those guys that he's been in the league long enough now where the whole like, yo, he's going to be great. It better start happening. Okay. Number
Starting point is 00:08:18 six, Matt Stafford. Won a Super Bowl. He's you know, older, but getting long in the tooth, as old people say. But really can't argue it that much. long in the truth. Number seven, Dak Prescott,
Starting point is 00:08:31 who recently said that he has to win. He needs to win. His existence depends on it. Smith, your boy. Gino? Gino Smith, number eight. Are you out of your mind? He's with Dak, in my opinion,
Starting point is 00:08:50 where they're outside the top ten looking in. So the Raiders, Gino Smith, number eight. Again, new team, 2025, but hey, do I downplay how good he is? No, he's good. But number eight. Love, number nine.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Green Bay Packers. I feel like Love's a top 10. And C.J. Stroud, great young quarterback, in at number 10. That's the top 10 NFL quarterbacks entering the 2025 season, again, according to Charles McDonald, his farm and everybody at Yahoo.
Starting point is 00:09:23 All right, so let's all agree. love is a top 10. You could say C.J. Stroud's a top 10. I think the argument is, and you're going to put Herbert in the top 10 just based on still the potential, even though, like, eventually the potential has got to calculate it to something.
Starting point is 00:09:41 I understand. I'm just saying this for conversation's sake. I can't say that I don't understand, but who won the Super Bowl last year? Because that's where everyone's going to go to. Would you have C.J. Stroud over Jaden Daniels? I had, Jaden. Here's who I think. Here's what you've got to do. You got to start going through and would you have Gino Smith over like
Starting point is 00:09:57 Jaylen Hertz? All right, so this is what you do. You could debate his skill level or what he brings to a team, but the bottom line is he won, and he wins. You got to go through to the divisions. I haven't been drinking. You have to go through the divisions and start really analyzing, like, all right, who sort of got left out here?
Starting point is 00:10:19 And blaringly go to the NFC East, and you say Jalen Hertz and Jaden Daniels. Right. Yeah. They both should be. So Hertz and Daniels on the list. Take away Dak and Gino and put in Hertz and Daniels, right? And by the way, that's no disrespect.
Starting point is 00:10:33 It's just how do you leave them off? Dak, Gino, goodbye. Hello, Hertz and Daniels. And I'm going to give you one more. I say, see you later, Matthew Stafford. Hello, Brock Purdy. Ooh, that's a controversial one. Did you just, did you be?
Starting point is 00:10:49 No, well, I mean, keep in mind if you're new to Fox Sports Radio, Kavino and Rich, I don't blame me for standing up for your guy. Rich is a diehard 49ers guy. And does his record and do his numbers proven? He's on the boat with Dak and Gino Smith. Yeah, let's be honest. You put Aaron Rogers on this list? No.
Starting point is 00:11:07 Okay. But hey, you know what? It's interesting that we live in a time now where he's still playing and not on this list, right? All right, so look at the other quarterback. You're not going to go, Anthony Richardson, too young, unproven. I'm thinking of other, just go through the divisions. Trevor Lawrence is, you know, underdelivered so far. Yeah, it hasn't been the guy that he was supposed to be.
Starting point is 00:11:26 I'm shocked that they put Gito on this list. You know, you start going division, division. All right, Minnesota, J.J. McCarthy, and then you had before he went, before he got traded, you weren't going to put, trying to think of who you were leaving out here. No, I think it's obvious that. You're not going to put Darnold on this. So people missing are Jaden Daniels and Hertz. And Brock Purdy.
Starting point is 00:11:51 And Rich says Brock Purdy. I'm not going to hate on you for it. Brock Purdy's been to a Super Bowl, an NFC championship game. I would say that's the most debatable one. Did the Niners add weapons for him? Because this is also a projection of 2020. The 49ers are going to win 13 games this year. They have the weakest-ass schedule you've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:12:08 And they're going to go 12 and 5 minimum because they play bottom feeders. They have the easiest percentage schedule in like a decade. But it's not because Brock Purdy is going to put the whole team on his back. You paid him like he's capable of maybe doing it. We set this up explaining how lists work, and we know from experience, dude. They're designed to make everyone argue, right? So is this clearly designed? Is this so obviously designed to get us to speculate and debate and scratch our noggins?
Starting point is 00:12:38 Like, this guy can't be serious. Or do you buy into it? Do you believe that Jalen Hertz isn't a top 10 or Jaden Daniels? Do you believe that Brock Purdy shouldn't be on the list? Let's chop it up. We're live from Vegas. Bringing the party to you. 87799 on Fox.
Starting point is 00:12:51 Chase, too, if you have thoughts on. you know chime in we let's get interact let me let me hit you up hey dude we have a whole slew of people here party let's get some drunken opinions yeah let's get the drunkards of las Vegas why do you throw the mic in the pool yeah let me go through the NFC first
Starting point is 00:13:07 real quick just to go through it all right jaylon hurts we said you know should be on this jaden Daniels yes should be I mean he won the Super Bowl Dak shouldn't the Giants not factor Jared Guff no one brought him up that's an interesting I like that one better than Brock Purdy, maybe. And what he meant to
Starting point is 00:13:26 Detroit. Minnesota, we're not going there. Jordan Love should be on it. Caleb Williams still has work to do maybe in a year from now he's on the list, but right now we agree not top 10 yet. For Caleb Williams? Not there yet, right? No, no, but you know, fun and still
Starting point is 00:13:43 learning and growing the league. I love Baker, not on the list. Michael Pennix Jr., love him, not on the list. No, I love Baker, but but yeah, he doesn't belong on the list. I think he's great. He's probably just outside of the league. Just outside the top 10. Kyler Murray, you know, he's middle of the path, you know.
Starting point is 00:13:56 He's 18. Yeah. So, I mean, I think the blaring omissions are hurts, Daniels, and you can say goff or purdy. I'm shocked that, and Danny, no disrespect. Gino Smith is not a top 10 quarterback. You think he is? People speak real high on his ability to throw on the run and how he just throws dimes. I think McDonald is projecting, obviously, here for what he thinks might happen in 2025.
Starting point is 00:14:22 Now, if what we know about Gino Smith comes true next this coming season, he's a great play action quarterback. If Ashton Genti lives up to all the hype, that's going to give Gino Smith a lot of opportunities. That doesn't make him a top 10, but he could do a lot better than what some people are thinking just right off the bat. And keep in mind, Danny G's the resident Raiders fan, although I do agree with what he's saying.
Starting point is 00:14:47 But I did say right off the bat, I don't see him as a top 10 quarterback. No way. If it's a Homer conversation, let's go to. perfet in the studio. You're a Lions guy. In your mind is like, come on, dude, Gough's top 10? Or are you thinking, no, he's not? This is a really fascinating one, because I think the reputation of Gough
Starting point is 00:15:02 has been, well, it's about the offensive line giving him help and the weapons. But seeing him close, I think I can make the argument for him, but the guy I want to make an argument for isn't, nobody's mentioned him yet. The guy I'm going to go to Bathears, Baker-Mayfield. He's top 10 in my mind. I don't know there's anyone who's better in the fourth
Starting point is 00:15:18 quarter than him. We all like him. I like how he gets the team behind him, his his toughness, his grittiness, how he plays to win, just seems to never give up. I love everything about the guy and what he means to the team, but I don't know who I would take off for him. I would take off love. Love. Okay, hey, man, I can't really argue that too much.
Starting point is 00:15:37 I like Mayfield. Love has had some real high points. I know the advanced stats like him, but he has made, every time he's been in a big position, he has made some back-bakingly awful throws that just stick with you, no matter what. And the last thing image I have of Baker-Mayfield is, him like carrying four players on his back, like just barreling people over. You remember that fight? Yes.
Starting point is 00:15:58 In the comments of this Yahoo Sports article, it's funny because the two quarterbacks that most of the football fans are arguing for in there are Baker Mayfield and, of course, the Eagles champion. Good for Baker. Jaylen Hurts should be up at five, I think, and Baker Mayfield should be at 10 at the very least. You know what's an interesting thought, guys, is that I'm going to compare it to when I make the line up for my kids baseball team. There's 12 kids.
Starting point is 00:16:25 I don't want to bat any kid 12th because that just sort of stinks, right? Like you don't want to, hey, a little, you know, little Dylan, you're batting 11th and, hey, a little Easton, you're batting 12th. But someone's at the bottom. There's 32 NFL teams. There's a bottom, essentially, if you want to break into top 10, middle 10, bottom 10. If we're trying to make, you know, a argument for everyone, then who's bottom 10? Well, I mean, whoever's starting for the Browns is an absolute bottom 10.
Starting point is 00:16:51 Tommy DeVito. Tommy gutlets. I know starting. But are you saying, like, is Russell Wilson bottom 10 until they go with Jackson Dart? Like, someone's got to be bottom 10. Yeah. Well, a lot of the youngsters like J.J. McCarthy until we find out who he is in the NFL. Tyler Murray's bottom 10?
Starting point is 00:17:07 And it's not all their fall either. A lot of these teams are just bunk all around. Are you saying a Michael Pennix Jr. right now is bottom 10? And by the way, the other day, I saw a different sports outlet put Bo Nix at number 10. Dude, yeah, Bo Nix. Can I tell you? So you've got to really think, we're naming all these people, someone's bottom 10. We're saying top 10, we're making an argument for these guys.
Starting point is 00:17:30 It's the reality of it, right? It's like if you go to a pageant and there's 50 smoking hot girls, someone's the 50th hottest, even though you're like, how is that possible? They're all hot. These are all NFL quarterbacks, but someone's the stinkiest of the guy making $40 million. And you wonder who is that, who's in the bottom tier? Because not all these guys are top 10. The problem is for a lot of it, it's just teams that have to be bottom tier because in the middle of the season, like if it is the Browns,
Starting point is 00:17:55 I'd like to say Joe Flacco, but I don't know if Joe Flacco will be the starter after too long. Then suddenly it's like we just have three different names that could all be in that same bottom tier slot. It's teams who are in the bottom 10, not a single quarterback because they don't have a quarterback. What about like Justin Fields for the Jets? Is he bottom 10 just by default? By default.
Starting point is 00:18:12 I think he is, yes. Yeah, especially again, just because he's on the Jets. These are all guys that at one point in their life with the number one dude. Yeah, look, we're not hating on them. It's who they play for. It's where they're at right now. Would we have said the same? Anyone fought for Baker Mayfield a few years ago?
Starting point is 00:18:28 No, he grew to that position. So props to him. Jalen Hertz's not on a list. And Charles McDonald gets exactly what he wanted out of this list. We're talking about it. Yahoo Sports is good for you. What do you think about their top 10 quarterbacks entering? That's the key.
Starting point is 00:18:45 Danny G pointed out a few times entering the 20-25 season. You know, I'm intrigued to see what our buddy Jay Stu says, because Jay Stu pulls for the Chargers and his boys there. His boys on the list. Are you a Justin Herbert believer? Jay Stu, is he a top 10 guy? Oh, absolutely. Herbert's a top 10 guy.
Starting point is 00:19:04 But who wrote this list, Charles McDonald? It's more like Charles McDon't know quarterbacks. Oh, yeah. Bird. I don't know. I think the Gino Smith thing is disqualifying. As soon as I saw that, I had to disregard the list. I'm sorry, Dan and Jeez.
Starting point is 00:19:21 That's disgusting. No, I agree with you. I said from the jump, he is not a top 10 quarterback. Not right now. Maybe at the end of the 2025 season, you can argue he belongs up a little higher. But, I mean, I saw a list a few days ago where somebody put him 28. So one list says 28. One list says, what?
Starting point is 00:19:40 Top 10, yeah, number 8. And for reference, Herbert is number five according to the list. Again, everybody's going to have a different list. I don't need to give the analogies, but someone's got to be on the bottom. But we're getting close to the MLB All-Star game, which I'm hoping we're at. Isn't it funny when you see the best guy on your team batting eighth on the All-Star team? You're like, huh, wow, okay. Because someone has to bat there.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Someone is your bottom-tier quarterback, and it just shows that even in the summer, we're sitting poolside at June, and we're talking about the NFL, because the NFL still, there could be NBA playoffs. There could be Otani and Tatis getting hit and fights. No matter. heard the owner of this casino say, nothing gets the crowd more fired up. It's not Marchman. This is not a boxing event. It's not UFC. It's still the NFL and the Super Bowl and people love talking about it. So your thoughts at Covino and Rich. And we're going to give away prizes
Starting point is 00:20:37 poolside. But guess what? If you're at home, if you're in your car, you're listening to the podcast, we're giving a chance for you to win here. We're going to play a game. Is Chipotle worker or WNBA player? You just have to tell us who. It's our way of getting to know more WNBA players. But we're putting a little twist to it, okay? A little Friday twist to the game. And we'll do that next.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Plus we still got weekend hobnobbing and more. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox SportsRadio.com and within the I-Hard Radio app. Hey, it's us to Jonas brothers. And guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, huge news? We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:21:19 We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how did we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember.
Starting point is 00:21:35 I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band. Before Jonas Brothers was... This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
Starting point is 00:21:55 And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Starting point is 00:22:15 Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman, Help make you funnier. This week, my guest, S&L's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter.
Starting point is 00:22:34 Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind. Highlights are trending, opinions are flying, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Every episode, we're cutting through the noise. Breaking down the plays, the controversies, and the stories behind the headlines. We go straight to the source, the athletes themselves. Their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to hear. The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight real. From viral moments to historic games, from buzzer beaters to controversial calls, we break it down, give you context and ask the questions everybody wants answered. Sports Slice brings you closer to the action
Starting point is 00:23:20 with stories told by the people who live them. Listen to Sports Slice on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slicelife-Life 12 and the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. The French Open is one of the toughest tests in tennis, and I know firsthand because I competed there myself. I'm Renee Stubbs, and on the Renee Stubbs Tennis podcast,
Starting point is 00:23:43 I'm breaking down everything happening at Roland Garris. Every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on Clay. Jen she went. I mean, she went down at three to Rabakina, but I'm delighted. She's an outsider to win the French for me. And she likes Clay. Listen, Lena Rubakina is arguably the best player in the world right now.
Starting point is 00:24:02 And I actually can win on any surface. Because if she's serving, well, good luck. Consider this your court side seat to the French Open. Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast, Point Game is about defying the odds.
Starting point is 00:24:27 Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before. And he knows. Without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
Starting point is 00:24:51 he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nass would get that thing. That man, hell get the flying.
Starting point is 00:25:08 He running up the court, licking his fingers why he got the ball, like, after you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah, you figure it out. real quick. Oh, yeah. Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
Starting point is 00:25:24 podcasts. All right. What's up, Vegas? Vegas. You know, Rich, you're so money. You don't even know it, bro. You know, we got to bring that quote back. You're so money.
Starting point is 00:25:34 I don't even know it. You know, Big Mike who runs this place? What's up? I don't think young people realize how much we quoted swingers back in the day. Oh, yeah, for sure. 1996. Classic. Classic.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Coveino and Rich. everything at Covino and follow all the fun we're having at the Circa Stadium Swim, live from the Circle Hotel and Casino downtown Las Vegas. Again, at Covino and Rich at Fox Sports Radio, hashtag CRC20. And for over 40 years, TireRAC has been helping customers find the right tires for how, what, and where they drive. Ship fast and free, back by free road hazard protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Tyraq.com, a tire buying should be. Now, we need callers. 87799 on Fox. We're trying to bring the Vegas fun to you, trying to give away prizes to you at home, at the office in the car. Juneteenth weekend. We have Swiggies.
Starting point is 00:26:27 The coveted Swiggy is the first official weekend of summer, so you need that Swiggy to keep your drink cold. It's our stainless steel water bottle, midnight black, and I'll tell you what, here at our party in Vegas, it's the prize that everybody wants to get their hands on. I know. We got T-shirts, we got cooosies, we got giveaways. And by the way, we don't slouch when it comes to giveaways.
Starting point is 00:26:47 We have nice giveaways, right? Not your standard radio BS giveaway. Now, before we get to the game, we got people hitting us up about quarterbacks. The list came out. Yahoo Sports decided to put, I'll just say this. We don't even need to go over the top of the list because, yeah, Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen. The usual suspects are there. This Yahoo list had Gino Smith in the top 10.
Starting point is 00:27:11 It had Dak Prescott in the top 10. And it left off guys like, I don't know, Jalen Hertz who just won a quarterback, Jaden Daniels, maybe Brock Purdy. Honestly, the Dak Prescott one bothers me. I think that back bothers me more than Gino Smith because you can make the argument that Gino Smith did more unexpectedly, more with less. And back Prescott just has been under delivering for a long time. And that's not coming from a mean place. I say that respectfully. All right.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Let's go to Dave in Idaho. Dave, hanging with Kavino and Rich. Vegas. What's up, buddy? You can play that game, but I do have a thing about the quarterbacks. And being a Cleveland Browns fan, as I am a huge die-hard Cleveland Browns fan, I'll tell you one, you forgot. Oh, yeah, he left.
Starting point is 00:27:54 If Baker Mayfield, by the time this is over, he will be one of the top five quarterbacks ever in the history. Because of his die-hard play, because of his demeanor, because of his blue collar, he belonged in Cleveland. We just made a mistake. You did make a mistake. He wants to be there. I just remember.
Starting point is 00:28:12 when Cleveland did give up on Baker. I remember thinking, like, I don't know about this move. He brought Cleveland into relevance for the first time in a long time. He made them must watch TV. And then they were like, yo, later, my dude. It's like dumping a girl that you were like, oh my God, I made a terrible mistake. And the new girl stunk.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Well, he got a lot hotter after the breakup, too, though. He really did. Got the hot for bigger. A little glow up. Meaning, I think his reputation turned around a lot. He stopped being the guy in goofy commercials. and he became the guy that was leading a team. He became a football player,
Starting point is 00:28:46 and no one's going to debate that he's in the conversation. We all like him here for sure. Let's go to San Jose and say, what's up to Tony? Hey, Tony. It's Troy, but it's all good, guys. No, you're Tony. You're Tony. We want you to be Tony, though.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I don't care. All right. What's up, Troy? People use the argument about putting the team on Brock Purdy's back. I mean, Mahomes had weapons and or top defense. Any team that goes to the Super Bowl has to have weapons. or a great defense or both. You know, Brock had a terrible offensive line,
Starting point is 00:29:18 put the team on his back actually in both NFC championship games to get to the Super Bowl. So I don't get why. There's always an argument, oh, now he's going to have an easy schedule. Just get tired of it. You know what I mean? That's all I want to say.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Dude, as you know, I'm a nine-Iner's guy right there with you. And I think people love to always make the excuse. Why Brock pro well? Yeah, he's getting paid like a top-tier guy now, so he's got to deliver. Well, Rich, I understand that point of view, but you could also then make that same argument for Gino Smith. He had one of the worst O-lines in the entire league,
Starting point is 00:29:48 and he took that Seahawks team way further than anybody thought he could. And again, made them relevant. They were in the mix for the past few years with him. So again, your thoughts, your phone calls, we appreciate it, 87799 on Fox, and we're still looking for phone calls for Chipotle worker or WNBA player, your chance to win a Swiggy for the coveted Midnight Black Swiggy. Easy to win, too.
Starting point is 00:30:10 All you have to do is not coming. in last place against all these jabrowns. I mean, multiple choice. You're going against me, and I'm terrible. And how could you not beat Mike who runs his place? I almost feel like, while I do want to get this guy right here. While I do want to get the phone, while I do want to get, you know, people listening involved, there's also hundreds of people here poolside with us, so we could always get someone
Starting point is 00:30:30 are they sane enough and clear-headed enough? Are they sober enough? Sam in Denver says he wants to play the game, so we could fire it up right now. I feel bad for everybody listening with the. FOMO. I want to give back to people listening to us right now because we're giving away tons of prizes here on site. You hear that pick by Kavino, man of the people. Man of the people. All right. All right. Perfect. We are ready to go. T. G.G.J. are you going to get a Marie Brown jersey? Does she play in the WMBA?
Starting point is 00:31:00 Let's play a game that is clearly sweeping the nation. Chippotle worker. Or. WMBA player. All right. We are going to put a twist on this today, you guys. Oh, yeah. We, of course, are live poolside here at Circa in Las Vegas. So today we are going to do Circa Worker or WNBA. Nice. Okay. Circa worker.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Let's welcome in Sam, who is listening in Denver. What up, Sam. Hey, how's it going, Danny G? Now I feel like I'm part of the party out there. Oh, thank you, man. We wish you were here next time, though, next time. I will be. All good.
Starting point is 00:31:37 Thank you, Sam. All right, so the rules are pretty simple, right? It's like, is it either a Circa worker who, by the way, they're doing a great job here at the party. It has been fantastic. It has been fantastic. It has been fantastic. The staff here is awesome. In fact, I promised to shout out Richard at the front desk who helped us yesterday.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Cool staff, cool place to be. All right, let's get this game going. Just don't come in last place, Sammy, okay? I'm going to do my best, Danny. Covino, you are up first here. Let's go. All right. Circa worker or W.N.B.
Starting point is 00:32:10 player, here's the name for your consideration. Darian Sloan. Darian Sloan's WNBA. Rich. Circa. Big Mike. I'm going to go WNBA. Sam.
Starting point is 00:32:25 Also WNBA. Darian Sloan is a chief financial officer for Circa. Yeah. Oh, my. Oh, man. You know what? I thought there's a little more effort in trying to get Circa worker names so I thought maybe it's WNBA.
Starting point is 00:32:43 All right. Yeah, I've been doing investigating. I'm going to lose to Rich again. All right. Next name, Covino. Yeah. Georgia Amor. Georgia Amor.
Starting point is 00:32:54 Georgia Amor. WNBA. Rich. That's Georgia Love. Yes. I'm going to go Circa again. Big Mike. I'm going to go WNBA again.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Sam. Circa for me this time. Georgia Amore is a 5-7 guard for the Washington Mystics. Yeah, buddy. All right. Next name, Covino. Circa worker or WNBA player,
Starting point is 00:33:19 Brooke Sanchez. That's a circle worker. Rich. WMBA. Big Mike. WNBA. Sam. WNBA.
Starting point is 00:33:30 Brooke Sanchez is a director of marketing and B. No. Come on. Yeah, buddy. All right. Covino, next name for you here. Emma Cannon,
Starting point is 00:33:41 Circle worker or WNBA player Emma Cannon. Emma Cannon's in the WNBA. Rich. Emma Cannon sounds like someone that should be a bottle girl here. Emma Canons? Where you're over?
Starting point is 00:33:54 You're saying circus. No, it's not canons, Rich. Oh, okay. Big Mike. Easy. I'm going to go with Circa Worker. Sam. I'm going to go WMBA. Emma Cannon is a 6-2 forward
Starting point is 00:34:07 for the L.A. Sparks. Oh, there you go. Nice. All right, Covino. Next name. Circa worker or WNBA player, Yvonne Colburn. Yvonne Colburn, Circa worker. Rich.
Starting point is 00:34:19 WNBA. Big Mike. Yeah, WNBA for sure. Sam. Nope, Circa worker. Yvonne Colburn is a cocktail server for Circa. There you go. All right.
Starting point is 00:34:32 I am so bad at these things. It's just terrible. Thanks, Mike. Mike, I need this. Would you say, Danny? She was a cocktail server? Can I just say the servers here poolside? Their outfits are, uh, deserve a round of applause, no?
Starting point is 00:34:44 Yeah, that I would say. 100% They deserve some ass clas. Asclebs. Ascops to the servers here at poolside. Yeah. All right, Covino, next name. Circa worker or WNBA player, Natasha Mack.
Starting point is 00:34:57 Natasha Mack's into WNBA. Rich. I'm gonna go WMBA as well. Big Mac, big Mike. Yeah, sure. WNBA. Sam. Yeah. Unanimous WMBA.

Starting point is 00:35:35 Yeah. Mike finally got one right. Nice. Come on now. All right, last but not least, Covino, for your consideration, this name. Shariko Ware. WNBA. Rich.
Starting point is 00:35:48 WM.A. Big Mike. Yeah, WNBA. Sam. I feel like it's a trick question, but I better stick, I'll go with the group. You're all losers. She's an assistant slot manager for Sarka. Wow.
Starting point is 00:36:01 I've done the calculations, Danny G. All right. All you have to do is not come in last place. Yep, Rich is tabulating the score right now. I'm pretty sure you beat me, Sam. All right. I appreciate you. Coming in first place, five and three, Steve Kavino.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Yeah, buddy. It's my weekend. Now, coming in last place, tied at three and five, me and Big Mike, which means, Sam, you're four and four. You win. You're a winner, Sam. Way to kick off the summer, man. At least Rich didn't be me.
Starting point is 00:36:32 That makes me feel better. Sam, congratulations. Jay Stool, take your info down, and we are going to mail a show. shiny CNR Swiggy to you there in Denver. Starting point is 00:36:52 Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, new? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey, Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to a...
Starting point is 00:37:04 We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember it going down?
Starting point is 00:37:29 Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast where people could call in and say, hey Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, Jonas, and offered it up as a potential. title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:37:49 Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. Starting point is 00:38:11 We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Last night, a blown call changed a game. I'm Renee Stubbs, and on the Renee Stubbs Tennis podcast,
Starting point is 00:39:24 I'm breaking down everything happening at Roland Garris. Every match, every upset, and what it really takes to win on clay. Jenchian win. I mean, she went down at three to Rabakina, but I'm delighted. Yeah, she's an outsider to win the French for me. And she likes Clay. Listen, Lennarabakina is arguably the best player in the world right now. And I actually can win on any surface.
Starting point is 00:39:46 Because if she's serving, well, good luck. Consider this your court side seat to the French Open. Listen to the Renee Stubbs tennis podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. What's up, fam, Ms. Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what.
Starting point is 00:40:14 He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before. And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
Starting point is 00:40:35 He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us every. everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nass would get that thing. That man, hell get the flying. He running up the court, licking his fingers,
Starting point is 00:40:51 why he got the ball. Like, you go through a training camp with that, I said. You figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You know, feeling good.
Starting point is 00:41:10 Live from the Circa Hotel and Casino downtown Las Vegas. Man, I'm about five minutes away from jumping in the pool. Let's go. We're about a few minutes away from weekend hobnob and stick around for that. Ready for a new job, let Express Employment Pros help. While Express Health people in all industries find work, our sweet spot is logistics rolls. And Express never charges job seekers a fee. go to expresspros.com, and now it's time to bring forth the rhythm and the rhyme.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Now it's time for the Express Pros Pro of the week, live from Vegas. That's my belly. Come on, man, we got some NBA going on in the finals. It's got to be Tyrese Halliburton and what he meant to the team. I mean, just for stepping up. Just in spirit and setting the tone, and they just ran with it yesterday. You got to say Tyrese Halliburton, because we talked about him all week. Is he going to play?
Starting point is 00:42:02 is he not going to play? And then he plays and delivers that past N.EG talked about before. One of the highlights of the game. He is our Express Pros, pro of the week. And before you get into Weekend Hobnobbing, did you say set the tone? I did say set the tone. Can I give everyone a little piece of advice?
Starting point is 00:42:20 If you could keep it PG, yeah. Okay. Or PG-13. I have two versions of setting the tone. Okay. In Vegas, I feel like every time you go to Vegas, whether it's here at the beautiful Circa or anywhere, I feel like the minute you get there,
Starting point is 00:42:32 you've got to go to a table and throw like a hundred bucks on one bed or a thousand, depending on if you're a big time ball or not. And immediately, you'll either be up or down and feel either awesome or crappy right away. The other set the tone is if you're going away with the wife or your girlfriend or someone you're getting on with, I think the minute you get to the hotel resort anywhere, you've got to get one in right away. Because it's going to put both of you in a good mood,
Starting point is 00:42:58 and then there's no pressure. You're talking about room service, right? Yes, room service. Yes, Danny. Room service. You're talking shots? What are you talking about? Yes.
Starting point is 00:43:05 I think it's a good way to set the tone because then you guys can go do whatever you want. There's no like, oh, we're tired. Like you already got. Are we saying that on the first official weekend of the summer, maybe you set the tone this weekend? All right. Set the tone. All right. And now it's time.
Starting point is 00:43:20 Live from Stadium, Swim, Circa. It's time for weekend hobnobbing. Living for the weekend. You're winning bets for talking points. if you get stuck socializing. You ever done anything dangerous? You ever dance with the devil in the pale of the line? That is dangerous.

Starting point is 00:43:56 So Ignacio Bahamandes, tomorrow UFC fight. night. Then in the theaters, Juneteenth weekend theater box office, Rich. Hey, theater, boy. 28 years later. It looks good. It does look good. If you're down to 28 days franchise, 28 days later franchise, 28 years later is in theaters. I'm going to watch the final episode when I have a chance, because of course we're here in Vegas, but I've been hyping up, and Danny G. mentioned it too. Power moves with Shaq on Netflix. It's about his quest to make Reebok A significant brand in life and in the NBA again.
Starting point is 00:44:31 He's trying to bring it back to when he and AI were rocking Reeboks in the NBA. He's the president, and AI is the VP of Reebok. Power moves on Netflix. They got one more episode to watch, but I really enjoyed it. And our show, Overpromised, our bonus pod. Episode 97's available on Fox Sports Radio's YouTube page. We talk Stanley Cup. We talk some hockey on Overpromised, episode 97,
Starting point is 00:44:54 and Fundamentals versus Winning. What's more important when you're teaching? kids. Fundamentals or waning over promise. Fox Sports Radio's YouTube page, that's what I'm watching. If you got little kids, do you think there's going to be, I mean, there was hype for Lilo and Stitch. There was hype for How to Tread and Dragon,
Starting point is 00:45:10 live action. This weekend, Elio comes out. The pizza story? No, not the East Coast pizza. Please say it, right. Elio. Is it Elio? Elio's the pizza. Elio is the kids movie. Elio's the little boy. Elios is the New York pizza brands. Yes. Oh, I want some
Starting point is 00:45:26 helios. I know. I know. So Elio is the big movie this weekend. Now, on Netflix, you're going to resist this because you just don't pay attention to me. Tires or Chang Gilles, Season 2 is better. Did you watch Power Moves with Shaq? I'll watch that. Absolutely did not. He didn't.
Starting point is 00:45:42 He's too good. He's watching tires. Tires season two is great. I am going to get around to that Call Her Daddy documentary on Hulu this weekend. That's pretty good. Just to see the magic that is Alex Cooper and see her story. You know, she's a fellow broadcaster. So I'll check that out.
Starting point is 00:45:55 And for me, I'm in Vegas. I'm going to get some money going on Mets, Phillies. They're tied in the NLEs. They have a three-game set. And the Mets have to face Zach Wheeler tonight. So I may watch out of the sportsbook later and cry. Because the Mets will probably get beat for the seventh time in a round. And Danny G.
Starting point is 00:46:11 Yeah. There's some big game sevens this weekend. Oh, man. Game seven NBA finals on Sunday. Sunday evening cannot wait for that. And Rich, I don't know if you guys have started this yet, but my wife is obsessed with Love Island, the latest. Yeah, I'm hearing a big buzz about that.
Starting point is 00:46:27 I saw our pal KFC from Barstool talking about some of the vulgar stuff that they're doing on this show. Like, they are testing limits more than ever, right? There's a dude who has a big herpy on his lip, and they're kissing everybody. It is a nightmare. I don't know why they agreed to kiss this dude with a herpy on stuff. There's a girl. I can't even say it on Fox Sports Radio. She does something in the bedroom.
Starting point is 00:46:49 You know, is this on, are we watching this? You know what? Save it for our Patreon tomorrow, live from Atomic Om. Okay, well, hey, lots to check out. But hey, if you're in the Vegas area, again, three, actually, we're still here at the pool. Three more big events tonight, rooftop. Legacy lounge. Legacy lounge.

Starting point is 00:48:52 getting a new one put up in its place. I'm Akela Hughes. And Rebel Spirit, season two, is about both of those things.
