It just switched like flipped. And it was amazing Because you know, the last year was like the hardest year. You're sitting there thinking everybody's against you. I'm listening to these interviews And somebody's bringing up this name or that name And I was like, I'm like, D.C. I thought we were boys, man.

How are you going to bring up that name? Why like, why do you guys do that? That's my question. Why do you guys do that? So we could say you're a guy rightfully so me john everybody we're kind of belongs deserving but the moment you say another name brus like oh this dude done bailed on me why does it feel like like oh my god he jumped my ship that quickly when reality was it should have always been you but you right away start you even texting me

which is some bullshit you even text me like yo what's this i'm like bro come on i'm trying to make content out here bro you you just take everything personally right because you're just waiting everybody's telling you you're not going to get it and then you start thinking in your head wait am i not going to get it Is it not going to happen? It's almost like both of you don't. respect the other and the skills that you guys have shown are put on display because I'm looking at this fight when I'm thinking about I'm like I hope Leon doesn't think he's going to fight the same Belaw Mahamati fought back then I hope Balal doesn't think Leon's going to be the same guy because you guys are both more evolved and better but then you go and say some stuff like he's not good he's saying stuff like you're just here why do you guys not see the value in

each other. Or it's all just the eagle speaking as you get ready to do something huge. No, I've been literally studying him for the last year. I'm watching and I'm looking at him and the dude sucks. Come on, Belaw. I'm telling you. That's some bullshit, man. You can't say that. When you look at who I fought, Wonderboy has better

striking than him. Walk through him. Gilbert has better jitist with him. Walk through him. Sean Brady has better wrestling than him. Walk through him. I fought every style that you can fight. He hasn't fought anybody like me. I fought the best of the best. Damia, a better jist with him. Walk through him. Like, what does he have better than all these guys?

You put all those guys together. Even a single one of those camps I've had, I've grown in every single one of those camps got better in every single one of those camps. When you guys see me Saturday night, what I do to Leon Edwards, you're going to be like, I told you the government's fight was going to be easy and they were going to say they're going to have excuses. You did say that. And I did tell I did come to your defense there. Oh, it's short news that I did rush through your defense because you were in Ramadan. You beat him pretty easy and they said he got hurt. But the reality is that fight was not going to go any different.

100%. That was three weeks. Three weeks we got off the couch. You know, we made a camp for three weeks. This was a year I'm training for now. This is a full camp, full year, full hatred, all toward Leon. What do you think I'm going to do with him Saturday night? But when you watch Leon Edwards, Belaw, and you have to, you're a smart guy. Like, so I'm not, I get it, but you're smart, right?

You do this. You do all this same stuff we do. When you watch him and you watch him, the improvements he made from Kamara Usman 1 to Kamar Usman are two to three to what he did to Kobe Covington none of that impresses you no it doesn't because kamar Usman too he was breaking you land right you land the head kick nice head kick beautiful the third fight Usman was into the same usman went out there hesitant didn't have the same swagger so people are giving him so much credit like leon i got better usman uhmm didn't wake up into the fifth round fourth round he didn't look good at all

and Kobe just sucks and i've been saying it forever that Kobe has that you don't think Kobe's good at No. Belaw, you and him lived in the same generation. You guys were in the same generation of fighter. When he was the number two guy, you were on your way up and then living in the top 10, and you just don't think he's very good. And I've been saying he was sucking for the last 10 years. I've always looked at him and said he wasn't good.

And you look at that fight. Leon threw 60 strikes in five rounds, and he was tired. I threw 150 strikes and gave him a bird of three weeks notice. Fasting. Yeah, yeah. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encourage. It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque.

I know you said that Gilbert Burns fight was, not going to look as hard as most thought it would, and it didn't. You look as good as we've ever seen you look. And, I mean, what you're saying now is you think you're going to walk through this dude. I think I'm going to walk through it. I think people are going to finally open their eyes like, wait a minute, he wasn't lying this whole time, or they're going to come at me and say, oh, man, Leon, he doesn't really like Manchester. He's rather than fighting in Liverpool or

something real like that. They're going to have an excuse no matter what, but I'm going to have the goal around my way so the excuse don't mean nothing. Why is that? Why do you think people want to diminish the things that Belaw Muhammad does? I just feel like I'd be in their favorite fighters, right? I'd be in the fan favorites. And when you look at me, like, I'm not a blackout in anything. I didn't, you know, I didn't wrestle in college. I didn't have like the crazy accolades, Olympian or anything like that. So I'm just a normal guy that outworks everybody. I'm a normal guy that started late in my career and did it all the hard route. And people just don't respect that. But I'm the blue-collar guy. But wouldn't you think,

that would make people want to respect you more? We're in a new day and age, right? You got to be outlandish. You got to say stupid stuff. You got to be flashy. You got to smoke weed to get that hype because, you know, the fans and nowadays, that's what they're looking at. They want you to be that type of guy.

But for me, like, I think, I've been telling people, like, if GSP was in this era, I don't think nobody would like him. Really? This guy's boring. He's too nice. He's Canadian. Who's going to like this guy? Yeah.

In his era, I would have been like the superstar, right? But it'll come when it comes, right? It'll come naturally, I feel like, and I don't know. need to fake anything, but if I had the gold around my waist, it doesn't really matter. You know, you said, you were doing some questions earlier, and you said, Patty Pimbled, more hated than me. Why do you, I mean, I get why you said people don't want to follow, but the hate, does it ever get to you?

No, I mean, at first, because I would sit there and read comments, but nowadays, it's like, these people are faceless. They don't have faces. They don't have real names. They're all fake people. And you feel sorry for them. 90% of them probably have a bad life. So they probably hate something about themselves.

So they want to, you know, throw it out at you. But for myself, I have a small circle, small family around me that supports me. And those are the only voices that I listen to. Those are the only people that really matter to me because they're the ones that are going to care when you lose. They're the ones that are going to care with you after your career when you got nothing left. Well, you had a small circle until I walked outside. You got a fucking posse now. What happened yesterday to where these guys did you get?

Some I go, wait, but Law's got a crew. No, huh? They said, well, after yesterday, what happened? Bro, well, first of all, shout out to Manchester, bro. I've had more fans here than Leon. The airport they came, they're hooking us up. Bro, you see outside? Go look at the cars outside.

We got Rolls, Royces, Lambo's. Really? Where you got all that from? Bro, this is a main event, mentality, man. I ain't messing around. This is the title. So what happened yesterday? His crew walked into the elevator, Leon's crew.

They're Six Deep. It's me and my boy, Max Perez. And then all of a sudden we hear like a, you know, his brother's trying to give me a, like, a, dirty look, look at me and I, and Leon's just sitting there not saying a word, and then all of a sudden we hear a little gremlin, little leprechaun talking, trash, his coach. And I was like, who that's this little nerd? And I look, and I can't even see him because he's so short.

And then he's trying to talk trash at the front of the elevator, but he's like squeezed into the corner. So you guys were all in the same elevator? Yeah, it was two of us, six of them. But, I mean, I take us two over anybody any day of the week. So Rocky was in there, too? Yeah, yeah. He wasn't saying that word, though, but his coach was talking.

That's why I'm hoping his coach showed up to the press conference. I'd rather talk with his coach at the press conference. Damn, Willow. What if they were to get your hat? What if they were to get your ass up in there? If that was me, I would have hit the stop button and you. I don't know if you'd have made it to Saturday. We would have jumped your ass.

Nah, we would have been straight, man. Me, Max, Thanastus, that's my embedded guy right here. He would take care of me. He's ready to throw it. He's from New York. Let me take some. The embedded guy is not helping you. Embeddy guy is scared, though.

This year, my numbers were down, but I did. have seven or eight assists and we still won the championship. Is there ever going to be a time where you walk away with the trophy and the money when standing across from me? How frustrating is it that I just be dicing your ass up? It just keeps me motivated, right? It keeps me wanting to work harder and get better. Your game is trash, though.

Your basketball game is trash, dog. Come on, man. We got to do what I want. My team sucks. Jamal got hurt. Hey, what about the tall guy I brought last time? Bro. And you be paying the rest.
