And we truly appreciate you guys for all of your support.
Starting point is 00:04:18 From me to Louise, to everybody at the volume, we appreciate how much you guys have allowed for us to go into your homes, your telephones, your TVs, everything, to watch the content that we put out. 31 million views, guys, in year three. 200 videos, countless check-ins, three rounds, Kormier's corner to Funky and the champ, you guys have taken it all in. We could not have done it without you.
Starting point is 00:04:45 But the pillar of our channel is the D.C. check-in. So I want to look back at some of the biggest moments from the D.C. check-ins from going across the world to sit with these fighters, we had so much fun. And guys, some of your best moments might not have made it from sitting with Ilya and him predicting he would knock our vocal. Donovsky didn't make the cut. Hamzot and I making bets that we still got a wrestle didn't make the cut and so many more. But I know you guys will enjoy the 10 that we picked. So again, we thank you guys from the bottom of my heart from the DC TV family for all the support before we get into 25.
Starting point is 00:05:28 And we're going to just continue to grow guys. So Merry Christmas. You guys have a happy holidays. But first, take out these video and have some laughs with me and some of these great fighters. I love Walker, but it's like my fucking ear bleeding, my face fucked up. It's like I work my ass off. I fucking work my ass off. And, you know, I win or lose, fucking, I deserve it.
Starting point is 00:05:53 I fucking, I deserve to win. And if I fucking lose, you know, he's a better man. But I work my ass off. How's your life changed since that fight in Australia? Oh, man, not much, dude. I'm not making more money now. That's cool. It's a little bit more noticeable to Walmart.
Starting point is 00:06:07 Dude, I love Walmart. I saw that. And you were like, I'm a little too famous from Walmart now. Bro, Walmart is my favorite store. Bro, Walmart's my only fucking stock that's doing well right now, fucking Walmart. I got to buy more of you guys. Everything else is just fucking shit, dude. But the Walmart's rising.
Starting point is 00:06:22 I mean, I know it's nice, you know. Because we all love Walmart, and Walmart will always be Walmart. You'll always go to Walmart, and you can get everything there. Like, why does not go there? You know, I will say these poor fucks, you need to stop stealing from Walmart. And I already talked about this. It's gotten so bad. But I can't hate these motherfuckers because I used to steal from Walmart.
Starting point is 00:06:39 all the time. You used to steal from Walmart. Fuck yeah, everybody's just still from fucking Walmart. But now everything's locked. You can't even get shampoo and it's locked. Yeah, and like, you know, you put a case of water in your basket. Hey, you didn't scan it. And I'm my fucking fault.
Starting point is 00:06:51 I mean, you never stole anything from Walmart? You've never stole one, but yeah. Oh, come on. You've never stole one thing from Walmart. Come on. Sean. I may steal things from Walmart now. So what I'm saying, guys.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Sure. I pay steal things from Walmart now just to see if I'm still able to steal it. And then if I get caught, I'm sorry. Because you can just pay for it. Have you ever been to the WinCo? Yes. You know, I love the winco, dude. You go get a bag of trail mix.
Starting point is 00:07:24 You put that shit in your car. And you're just walking and eating. But does it really, like, so stealing, is it less fun now? Because now it's not really that dangerous. I don't know. You just pay for it. I said I don't steal. You don't steal now?
Starting point is 00:07:39 I don't steal now? Showing, don't lie. No, I don't steal out here. Nothing, nothing, nothing. No, I don't even a candy bar every now and again. I made my business partner in the barbershop stealing controller for my PlayStation. He was so mad at me. I jammed it under his basket.
Starting point is 00:07:52 He went back into the store and paid for it. You know, man, like, having money makes you, like, a lot of people understand, like, it was like, oh, you're, because I have money now. Like, when you have nothing, you're, it's so easy to be a fucking shit bag. Yeah. Like, you know, when you wake up every day and you're fucking, you're looking, the couch cushions for fucking change. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:08:11 A couple dollars. You just, you're fucking angry. You're like, well, fuck them. I'll go to Walmart. Fuck you, CEO. Like, I'll take all your shit. Fuck you. And then, like, once you have money,
Starting point is 00:08:20 it's so much easier to be a good person because you don't struggle. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's easy for me to wake up every day and be like, well, I could pay $3. I can go to Starbucks. I'm going to do this. I don't do that.
Starting point is 00:08:31 But it's like, yeah, just fucking, when you, you see all these rich fucks like donating money and all this. And like, like, oh, yeah, they're such a good guy. I know they have fucking money. They don't care. You don't know what? Have you started to know it yet?
Starting point is 00:08:44 No, fuck no. I mean, I'll do like a go fund me, but like if I know somebody or, you know. But no. But it's like, it's funny. You see all these rich fucks like, like these people don't give a fuck. It's easy to be a good person when you have money, you guys. It's fucking easy. You get like, I got no cares.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Like I turn on my AC, you know, I overrun my AC. I get electrical bills. I'm not thinking like, oh, fuck. $1,000. Yeah, fucking just. Just pay it, man. Well, I did, I did just throw a mini split in my house because I'm a cheap fuck. What's a mini split?
Starting point is 00:09:12 What's it? California. A mini split, bro. It's like a, you fucking, like a little air conditioner, you drill through your wall. It's nice, bro. It's nice. It's nice. But I'm a cheap fuck.
Starting point is 00:09:23 But I still, but I still, I don't still shit these days. No, yeah, you just said, I'm a steel, but you just don't. I am a chief fuck, though, you guys. But what I'm saying, you guys, at the Walmart, please, let's get this shit unlocked. Yeah, where everything's, I mean, come on, like. Everything. It is a little bit ridiculous. Maybe you will come back?
Starting point is 00:09:44 Come to a K. Come to a K. When you last time in the K? When you last time in the gym, man? Huh? You see? That's the problem with you now. You're very disrespectful.
Starting point is 00:09:55 I liked you better when you were a kid that barely spoke English and you were nice. Man, but I care about you. You have to training, because Habib always training. Why are you show like this? This is a happy guy. Golf guy. You see that? Gov. God.
Starting point is 00:10:11 God. Golf. Don't play golf. Why? Because golf, you don't lose like zero calories. Shut and go walk. Shut again. I play one time.
Starting point is 00:10:22 When you walk in those cab. You don't walk. You go by car. I buy one. I have one from my house now. Yes, that's right. You have to do some other sports. Tomorrow I'm going to walk.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Make you working a little bit. Play soccer better for you. I'm so good at that now. I'm so good at some. soccer now. Hey, dude, I'm so good at soccer and I love soccer. Brother, you don't have good in soccer. How are you going to do in soccer?
Starting point is 00:10:46 I'm really good in soccer. You got to stop disrespect in my country, man. You just have to stop saying we're not good as though. I respect your country. Because we did win the last three world championships. Team. And? We're the best.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Last one, who are the best? We won the last three world championships. No way. Yes, we did. Brother. Taylor, Dake World Champion. Taylor World Champion, Gilman World Champion, Zane Rutherford World Champion.
Starting point is 00:11:15 We have world champion after world champion after world champion. Brother, you talk about big country, brother. What about Dagestan? How many champions there are. But you guys didn't have more champions last year? We have other countries. They presented other country because the competition inside the Dagestan, it's a different level.
Starting point is 00:11:30 There's only 10 world champions, bro. We had five of them. Other one five from Dagestan. Not true, man. Islamahadhev takes on Dustin Poy this weekend at UFC 302. You started learning English yet? How English, can you? A little bit.
Starting point is 00:11:50 I was Khabib's English coach telling him. He was the professor of English of Khabib. He was? Let me teach you a little bit. Okay, teach you there. I am V. D.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Fah- No. Hey, wait in that! No, no, please. No. Please, please. Listen, you have to remind. I am the fucking fucking best in the world.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Say this to the camera. No, but I think for the... No, just say this, say this thing. I am. I am. I am. The best? I am the best in the...
Starting point is 00:12:32 The fucking world. My name. My name is Alex. Is Alex. Padena. There we go. Oh, yeah. Look at that.
Starting point is 00:12:44 The fucking best in the world. Alex Panada fights this weekend for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship against Jamal Hill. Alex Champ, thanks for checking in with me again, man. Guys, sign up for Daniel Corby at English session. English lessons. I can teach you all the little Wayne's lyrics, and I will teach you all the best cuss words. First off, as I, you know, we've gone back and forth online, and that's the thing. right like online it can be we can yell we can scream we can do all these things but when you see face
Starting point is 00:13:17 face we have to communicate right we have to talk to each other so my question to you is where did we get off track you or not uh i don't know i mean to be honest with you from the very start you know it's just off that post you know off of just what you said you know about the post fight interview yes sir yes sir so i just feel like you uh misquoted me that's all that was uh definitely about what i said about you know kind of mcgregor you know and calling him out it's okay that you said it was the worst call out you know what I'm saying all the time that's cool I don't care about that it was the other things that you said what else did I say uh you said that I called kind of McGregor's mother a bad name and I
Starting point is 00:13:52 didn't do that and I what did that bit well honestly with that being said it's just like everything that I got going on in my life I got a lot of women that took care of me my mother taking care of me my grandmother taking care of me you know so I didn't attack his mom or attack anybody that was close to him that was a female you know I just went at him and his father who got him into training and everything of that nature. But yeah, it was just a misquote, you know, misunderstanding. But then you, when you posted it, you included me with Michael Bisbing and Chal Sondon. They didn't misscoach.
Starting point is 00:14:27 That was just me. No, no, no, because everybody agreed. No, no, I seen Chal Sondon, and he was talking on there as well. He said the same thing. And then Michael Bisbyn said the same thing on their own post. So I seen exactly what they said. They said the same thing on that post. So we all as a collective.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Yeah, as a collective. So here's the thing about that post fight. Yes, sir. Right? You call O'Connor McGregor. Somebody told me yesterday. And that's the thing. Like, honestly, you call out Kahnna McGregor,
Starting point is 00:14:56 we all start talking about it because of that. If you did that as a point to get people talking, then it would have worked. But then again, it's just like we constantly go, it was like we're constantly going back and forth about this stuff and then you get you seem to get mad but in this position you can't get mad you can't get mad in this position
Starting point is 00:15:15 it's like do we get judged daily for what we do when we're on this platform no but you still misunderstand you misquoted me but I didn't misquote you so okay so what did I say I don't know it by word now I don't have the exact quote by word now I get I can tell you what I said tell me I said Khan McGregor is a mickhock that's what I said so it's safe to that his mama raised a hole.
Starting point is 00:15:40 But that's the problem, though. You can't be saying mama raised a hold of. Okay, why not? Because you're talking about this dude's mom still? I'm not. That's disrespectful. That's the job that she did,
Starting point is 00:15:51 Joaquin. The job that she did is raise that man. Yes, sir. So that she did, you tell her, his mom did a bad job. I didn't call her a bad name.
Starting point is 00:16:00 But you didn't call her a old. You didn't call home. And I get that. All right, there you go. As long as you can say, but I get that, but I get that, right? But then that turns into you.
Starting point is 00:16:08 saying that our mama's raised holes. Come on, man. We can't do that. Yeah. We don't do that. Like, we just don't do that. Like, we have to, at times, we just have to be careful, because we don't know each other's situation.
Starting point is 00:16:25 One time John Jones and I, who had the most bitter rival in this thing. Yeah, of course. One time he said, I'm your fucking daddy. That's what he said to. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right? And then he found out my father got murdered, and he He made Dana White message me to talk about that. So saying a man, mama raised a hole, you don't know what that man, mama did.
Starting point is 00:16:46 We don't know that. Like, those are words that just can't be spewed out like that. That's just me. Because I don't, because, like, we don't do that. No, no, I feel you. There's a couple things that I leave off of, you know, the limits, you know. I don't talk about the dead,
Starting point is 00:17:01 and I don't talk about, you know, people, kids, you know. But there's other things that I feel like, whatever I got to do to sell a fight and get somebody's attention, that's what I'm going to do. But yet again, though, I feel like you just misquoted me. Now, if people didn't like my approach to it, then that's cool. I don't care about that, but just keep it real and keep it honest. That's not what I said. So why do you keep tagging me on shit then?
Starting point is 00:17:22 I love tagging you, man. But still, you keep tagging me constantly. I'm like, I don't understand it. I feel like, because now you're trolling me. I'm not trolling. I really, like, I got an open workout that I'm going to do at 2 p.m. at David Bustle. I love for you to come out. so we can get some work in, we can roll, or something like that, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:17:39 And it's not like, you know, like to be mean or whatever, but you said that we could work. We will work. We will work, but we have never come across each other since. Like, I haven't seen you. That's why I tagged you in a lot of things and a lot of situations to let you know where I'm at. But it's not to be, like, on some trolling stuff. Like, you know, you don't want to put up. It feels like you're trolling.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Well, I apologize to that if that's how you feel. Yeah, that's how I take it. No, I'm sorry. It's all good, man. Yet again, it's just like you're giving your opinion, right? Regardless of how I feel about it, that's your true and honest opinion. And I appreciate you for being your honest self, if that's the truth. Did you hear all the positives that I said about you about the fight leading up to the post-fighter?
Starting point is 00:18:21 Yeah, I hear the puzzle, you know what I'm saying? But the negative always outweighs, you know, unfortunately. But I did hear the positive, you know, for sure. But it was the negative that really was launched out there, you know, and that's what everybody focused on. Everybody does. Yeah, exactly. That has to be frustrating. But again, it felt like when you said that,
Starting point is 00:18:38 you said something to the effect of he puts over Khabib and all these dudes, but I've never seen D.C. put over a brother. You're talking about teammates? These are my teammates. Yeah. I think the only kid was like, what, Darren Win? Durand win?
Starting point is 00:18:53 Yeah, yeah, yeah, your son? Yeah, yeah. That's not my son, dog. Don't disrespect that man, dog. That's fucked up. Don't disrespect that man. But DeRondwin. Sean Bunch from your neck of the wood, Kansas City.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Like, I put on brothers. I just, these are my teammates, y'all can you talk about. So I think that when we got, when we got crossed, it becomes anything to stay crossed. Mm-hmm. Opposed to kind of like, you know. But let's talk about your fight. I appreciate that. Because this shit right here is like, it's all like noise, right?
Starting point is 00:19:23 Because there's like, for me, it's all noise. Like, you and I ain't, we never go fight. Yeah. You're seven. You know, we'll never fight. No. So it's like there's no point in wasting the energy doing all this shit. So.
Starting point is 00:19:34 No. Let's get to the fight. And I hope you don't think that's what I'm trying to do anyway. I'm not trying to fight you physically in any type of way. Not trying to make you feel no type of way. But my thing is, though, I feel like at the end of the day, whatever negative thing is because what you said was kind of harsh, bro. My man, you know what I saying? You called me a pussy and everything.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Absolutely. Because when you're, because absolutely. I didn't want to bring it up. No, because absolutely when you see anything about my mom, that's what you're going to get. You don't get Daniel the TV dude no more. You don't get Daniel the TV dude. You get Daniel the dude from Lafayette. That's what you get.
Starting point is 00:20:07 And I try to, I don't want to be that man, but that's what you get. At the end of the day, bro, I sweat of God, every time. 100% of the time. And I hear you on that, and that's cool. But at the end of the day, I got to say something back as well. I understand. And so we went back and forth. So there it is, right?
Starting point is 00:20:26 So when I come at you, it's not like, okay, I'm trying to fight you. But let's resolve this in the best way. If we can talk it out, that's cool, too. but if we can also train and get, I feel like I'm always going to improve no matter what. Yes. You know, no matter what.
Starting point is 00:20:40 So if you bless me with some work and actually training, right? Absolutely. And I would do that. I would do that. I would do that. But again, like, anytime, like, I sort of, like, dude, you know how we, mothers.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Trust in the black community. Yeah. They're off limits. And it's like, it just, it changes me. And it's like this thing that, and I wish immediately after I sent it, I was like, nah, should have never did that. I wish I didn't do that.
Starting point is 00:21:05 If that's how you felt. Again, because then you go to that other place and you keep, I shouldn't do that. I'm better than that. I'm 45 years old. Yeah. My man, that's done a lot of things in my life. Okay, guys, so this is my favorite time of the year. The sports season is in full swing.

Starting point is 00:23:14 So how did we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band. Before Jonas Brothers was... This is how you guys remember it going down. Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
Starting point is 00:23:38 people could call in and say, Hey, Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Starting point is 00:24:12 with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The story I've told myself about love or relationships

Starting point is 00:27:28 Olympic champion. Ninety-seven? He's so strong. 97? 97 kilos. Saaduwaif, Tajudu Dyev, Snyder. You don't believe this. No, what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:27:40 I don't believe it. Why you would make weak the wrestling, brother? How is someone striking guy come to the wrestling and two years beat an Olympic champion? If he took him down, what do you tell me about? Brother, one minute, Saadulayev sent him 10-0. Then why has nobody done this to him in M.A? Because he only five strikers. He doesn't know what.
Starting point is 00:27:59 Put him on Kalayev. Yes, put him against Anka-Live. You think Anka-Live take him down? Of course, easy. Who for who beat he? Like a wrestling guy. Who he has a point? Who are you talking about.
Starting point is 00:28:11 Prakaska or who? Janbovich. Janbovich took him, Janbovich. He's a wrestler. Okay. Anka-Lav, Jan Blahovich, what happened? How many times Anka-Lav take him down? Hold him three rounds there.
Starting point is 00:28:26 Brother Dagestan, it's... So my son's group of kids, you know how last time I sent my kids there? You want your son? They go next to Dagestan, my son, and the rest of his team. Send your son to Dagestan. I go, but I'm going to, though. Why? He can't go by himself.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Why? Brother. If you want your son high-level wrestling, send him two, three years, Dagestan and forget. Three years? Yes. You're out of your fucking mind. Two weeks.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Six months, one time you can call him. Two weeks. You see, Frankie Edgar, Edgar, going to his son for one of my wife. Yeah, my son's not going for six weeks, man. Or, no, too long. Hey, Islam. Huh. Thank you for checking in with me, man.
Starting point is 00:29:10 I appreciate it. Even though Ali tried to keep us apart. Can you believe us? Yes, yes. I told the old story after. It's a lot of camera. I told the old story. You tell me the old story?
Starting point is 00:29:23 Hey, did you, did Australia? How did Australia you do in the Olympics in rugby? Dude, I saw the girls. Right dancing. Don't worry. Oh, my God. Did you see that? Break dancing is an Olympic sport, dude.
Starting point is 00:29:36 I could be an Olympian. No, that's bullshit, Ty. I could. You think you can dance? I can out dance. I can out dance you. I've been in a club with you and I've outdance you. When?
Starting point is 00:29:49 You remember that time we were out in that club and Little John was performing and I started dancing? So I started dancing and the entire club was going, go D.C., go D.C., and I was just fucking break. You're out with the guy in the boot chair. No, I didn't. I did not battle. You lost to him. I took his shoe off. He had to clean his shoes in the club.
Starting point is 00:30:09 That was crazy, bro. You're doing shoeys in there. You're doing... Clean their shoes in the club. Oh, my God. That was the craziest shit ever, bro. It didn't touch the floor. They didn't have...
Starting point is 00:30:18 They didn't. That's one thing, right? That's one thing about shoeies. If you're going to do it, you can't have somebody with a dirty shoe. They were on him. He was wearing him. Yeah, he was wearing him.
Starting point is 00:30:32 He was cool dude. too, though. He died. I took the shoe off him. That was bad. Well, you took the shoe off the dude, and I was like, Ty, stop. And you remember what you told him? He wanted me, too.
Starting point is 00:30:43 He wanted you to take it, and he was having the best time of his life. And you said to him, this is the craziest thing I've ever heard in my life. He said, I'm going to get you so messed up. You're going to walk out of here tonight. That shit was fucked up, guy. That was crazy. You had to have been drunk, bro. He loved it, though.
Starting point is 00:30:59 The guy loved it. He was pretty f*** up after that. He absolutely loved it. And that's why. I remember that line. I do, I'll never forget it for the rest of my life. Because it was a little bit uncomfortable. But his, the kid, the guy's reaction was like, it, it, he lit up like I've never seen
Starting point is 00:31:17 anything like him. He got to be, like, it's, they're not going to walk again. You got to be sweet. Be sweet about it and fun to him. For sure. But like, I just remember, like, all the time that we spent, when we spent time together, you did bring that joy to people. Like, you like doing that?
Starting point is 00:31:33 I love it. Yeah, you made that kid small. The BMF championship for a while felt like a gimmick title because it was fought for between guys that were great fighters but not championship level fighters. But now two BMF title fights back-to-back, championship level fighters, does it lend itself to the title being more prestigious being that champions are not fighting for this belt?
Starting point is 00:31:59 Yeah, I think so. I think obviously there's going to be haters and then there's going to be people that support it. You know, I think the fans really love it. I think that's my favorite part of this whole thing is it's become such a testament to who we are and who's fighting for it. You know, Max Holloway and myself,
Starting point is 00:32:15 two guys that are constantly and consistently violent and who are both hopefully, Sherwin Hall of Famers along yourself, along with yourself. And yeah, that's what we do. You know, being on this car is special, it's gonna be special. These are the good old days. These are gonna be the stories that I always keep
Starting point is 00:32:34 in whole deer. good for my coaches, good for my family, go for the sport. And it means that the UFC really recognizes our value, you know, and that's good, too. The original BMF champion said that he wants to break your orbital bone. Yeah. Why, what happened? Why does he want to beat you up and what do you make it at? I think we're all going to miss the spotlight.
Starting point is 00:32:58 You know, he's not in the spotlight no more. And, you know, I'm sure he's yearning for it. But break my orbital, yeah, I don't know. He said that about the only orbital he got broken is his against Camaro. And I love to see it. But the problem is like he might get you on the streets. The most. So what?
Starting point is 00:33:16 That's my favorite part. He fucking cheap shot had Colby coming to. Didn't break his orbital. But why, why are you, though? What made him come at you? Because you fighting for the being of title? I think because he bet so much money and I fucking took it from him against Porre. I would be upset about that too.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Yeah. Hopefully he puts a lot of money on this one And not on me But all those things like It just comes to the territory Do you even put you When someone says something like that to Justin Gachia God that's as locked in as you are
Starting point is 00:33:48 On fighting in the fight that's in front of you Do you haven't take no to that? No No, he is so irrelevant right now That's why he's saying it You know so he can become relevant But he's got a fight against Diaz It's not irrelevant
Starting point is 00:34:00 He has a fight against Diaz? Yeah they're boxing See I didn't even know that's how irrelevanting is Justin it's true Justin the only reason you know it's because you're
Starting point is 00:34:11 in the position that you're in now but you're not even going to watch it don't lie well I'm going to watch it I'm not going to watch it I'm sure it's fucking not watching that no way in a boxing match or what
Starting point is 00:34:26 a boxing match neither one of them can fucking box they should just wrestle or something like Oh my God. Boxing? Boxing, yeah, come on. You're so crazy. I love, hey, nothing was more special
Starting point is 00:34:40 than seeing all that mist come off his face when fucking Camaro put a hole through it. One of my favorite nights. Still remember I have very, very, very fond memories of that night. You're so crazy, Justin. Jacksonville, Florida, fucking. You're so crazy. So you have thought about it.
Starting point is 00:34:57 I thought about that night. No, you have thought about him saying he was going to break your armamentable. No, I laughed. at that I think it's funny he's fat as fuck he's never I find that 155 pounds he can never make that again the rest of his life he can fuck off let's get back to your fight this weekend man I did not mean to go off the rails like that with you I just really wanted to know because I know you and I wondered about it I was like man I wonder what Justin makes of this but you know
Starting point is 00:35:26 when this fight started to come together and you're getting these offers to fight a guy like Justin Gachie, what is the excitement level from the very start? And then ultimately, what makes a decision, you know, for you? Like, to actually fight Justin Gagey? I just want to be the greatest of all time. You know, I want to be one of the votes. Well, that's going to be hard, considering I am. Yeah, you're retired, though.
Starting point is 00:35:50 So it's okay. We need new ones, you know? You can't be up there forever. You're for sure on top of that Mount Rushmore for me. But then that's just my ass get up there. I'm knocking you off. Well, you want my smart? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:01 Push me down. Nobody else is spot. Your spot. Only your spot. And wherever you fall down, I want to go there, too. I'm just going to follow you around. It is a step on my grace. Yeah, you know, but at the end of the day, with Justin Gitchie, he's a future hall of
Starting point is 00:36:12 famer. You know, one of the, I think his record is 100% 100% what is that performance bone is winning. He's 12 for 12 right now. And this kind of fights beside me, you know? Like, he's in fighter nights. He gets performance at a night. These are the fun fights, you know. And if you want to be the greats, you got to be willing to go in.
Starting point is 00:36:31 go in between classes, bro. You know? The pound-for-pound, I don't know about you. You know, correct me if I'm wrong. I know we have different takes on different stuff, but the palm-for-pound fighter, if you're the number one pound-found fighter and you're not willing to fight out of your weight class, that's ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:36:44 You're not for-for-pon. Yeah, you're not. You know what I mean? The palm-for-bond fighter in my mind, you know, like when we was in the palm-falon together and you was one, I was calling your ass out every time. I stayed calling you all. Well, I called you out on my show the other day.
Starting point is 00:36:55 You saw it? No, they asked me. They said, if you could go to one weight for one fight, what would you do? So they said, if you could change yourself for one day, for one fight, what would you do? I said, I would go down to 1.45 and finally fight Max Holloway. Because we haven't been able to come to terms on the weight class. I say 185 because I've seen you out of shape.
Starting point is 00:37:17 I've seen you out of shape. I could try to get to 185. I might miss weight. You might miss weight. But you're a fighter, so you would still fight me. So I'm trying to put that. And I think like 40% of your purse too. And I'm not fighting you.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Yeah. It's too much. Too bad. But, like, yeah, I said I would go fight you. One at 1.45 because I obviously respect you as a competitor, but boy, could you imagine how good I would look in a suit at 1.45? Brother, you look pretty good at there. I do.
Starting point is 00:37:43 I do. I do. But then you'd lose, so. I wouldn't lose. I would lose. You think that if I fought you at 1.45, you would actually beat me? Brother, I would sprawl? Bags!
Starting point is 00:37:53 I would straw on your head and it looked like another ball, brother. You think? Wait, stop, stop. believe that. You remember last time you got arrogant in something that we competed against was madden. Yeah. And what happened? I lost one time. No, no. And I won the other time. No, I won the one and one, brother. No, I beat you twice. Brother, because I let you win the first time. Then I beat your ass the second couple times. That's what happened. So the first one, you're going to lose. I let you. So you're coming down to lose? No, but I'm not losing to you. Okay, well, we never know.
Starting point is 00:38:24 It would be so bored. You'd be so frustrated because I would just be laying on you, just wrestling. No, I'll talk to you the whole time. I'll be like, how does it feel? Because then I get up and when I'm punching the fingers. He just, I mean, first in first, he's on my wake class, right? I'm not friendly to anyone in my way class. I don't care who you are, I don't care how nice you are. If you're in my wayclass, you're a person that is willing to take that plate from my table.
Starting point is 00:38:50 So, fuck you. Let's start there. But with him, it's like, I don't have anything against him. I just don't give a fuck about him. don't give a fog about him. I don't, like a lot of fighters get mad about other fighters getting publicity. But that's what he, I just had him in here a little bit ago. He said, ask you about it. He said he thinks it might be a little bit of jealousy on your behalf as to why that, why you act
Starting point is 00:39:14 like that towards him. He said, because for him, he doesn't, he doesn't, he doesn't, he doesn't, he said it to him, it's not that big a deal, but he said to you, it's more personal because maybe you're a little bit jealous of the life that he's a crew. That's how stupid he is. He did something with Okamoto, and he was saying it's personal for him. I have never said his person for me.
Starting point is 00:39:36 I don't give a focus in front of me. My only goal is to really hurt you. Like in real life, I want to kill you. But it's because you're my opponent. If there's someone that is not my opponent, I can shake your hand and fuck off. But I don't see you two shaking hands. If even when you aren't,
Starting point is 00:39:55 even when you two aren't, scheduled to fight, I don't see you as Sean O'Malley, pal, because it's funny, right? What's just odd though? Because you would seem like you two, you both love to smoke, you both love to kick back and chill, like you would seem to be two dudes that would get along pretty good. Yeah, maybe that's a problem. We do the same thing.
Starting point is 00:40:12 I don't know. But honestly, going back to that, I don't care if he gets a party record. Like, a lot of people talk shit about that. Like, a lot of people talk shit like, oh, you get easy road. But you get, I don't give a, I'm focused on my life, on my shit. You think his records, padded? I mean, if you see the, before the last two fights, yes? Before Yan and, uh, how impressed were you by him, though, in the Peoria
Starting point is 00:40:39 fight and in the Al Jamein fight? In the, in the Yon fight, I was more impressed about Jan becoming a wrestler. Again, I never wrestled in the, in a, in a... He took him down. Yeah. But he never wrestles, he always fights. Yeah. And he kind of like, I mean, also the friend, that John is
Starting point is 00:40:55 like three feet tall. That frame is hard to fight a taller guy like that. I can match his range. And with Alio, I mean, great wrestler, you know that, great UGiT, but the guys can have a base to fight. I mean, you don't just throw a right hand, like open face, just like, we're not in the streets. Yeah. He's just very low level of striking. That's where I can match him or anyone in the division. I can't start with anybody. That's where he believes, that's where men believe the fight is going to be determined. If you can stay with them in the stand-up, you have an opportunity to do if he can't,
Starting point is 00:41:32 then Shauna Malley will do what Sean Lomalley has done before. The first time you guys fought, I fought on the same part. I remember watching in the back, and the fight's going on, and it's kind of playing, you know, you haven't gotten started yet, because traditionally that's what you do. It takes your time to build into the fight.
Starting point is 00:41:50 And then he throws the kick, he hurts his leg, and you kicked him first, and then he threw a kick, and he heard his leg, but he never has acknowledged that you won that fight because of the freakness of the injury. Right. The only two people that know what was going on in that octagon are you two.
Starting point is 00:42:08 No coaches, no anybody else. What did you take from that first interaction with him, being locked in there with him? What did you take from it saying, okay, I know what I would do if I have to fight this guy again? He don't have a hard soul. Like, you can look through his eyes
Starting point is 00:42:25 and he's a little bit of a cut inside. So he's a, like, I'm willing to really get fucked up and say, fuck you, speed in the ground, say, bring it. He's not willing to do that. And he can say whatever the fuck he wants. He's a great athlete. He can fight, he punch hard, but he don't have what I have inside. And Saturday night, we find out.
Starting point is 00:42:47 At the end of the day, we can say everything we want. You still need to make the fucking walk. And you still need to get in there and go hard. And I'm ready, man. I'm really ready. DMs. Sean said y'all had a conversation in the DMs. He told me specifically to ask you about it.
Starting point is 00:43:02 Yeah, he texts me. What happened? He's funny shit. I used him a selfie. Huh? You sent him a selfie of you? Yeah, what did he text you? Wait, you sent a selfie of what?
Starting point is 00:43:14 You sent me? I was driving. Well, what did he text you? He was talking shit. He was like... Oh, he was trying to talk shit to you, direct messages? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:21 I sent him a selfie back. Come on, come on, let me. Where are you phoned at? What did he say to you? He actually got weird and personal. Oh, he got personal? Well, not personal, but he brings weird shit. I saw you.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Yeah, let me see that. I'm sure he showed you, right? Huh? He showed you? He never showed me. He told me to ask you. Oh, if he don't show you, I would be able to know. No, no, come on.
Starting point is 00:43:45 Oh, Chito, you can't do that. That's really blueballing me. I thought he's, I don't show you. He showed me. He showed me. He didn't show you. I'm telling you he showed me. Say what he said?
Starting point is 00:43:53 Well, I'm not good. Or he got a little personal and weird. Yeah. He got a little personal. So, like, then you sent him, it was a picture of you, like, driving. I sent him a picture of me driving. Yes, it was a picture of you driving. It was your response, but it was like, it was a little personal and weird what he said.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Let me see. I mean, he's okay when it'd be in public because he, you know, he told me to ask you. Yeah, he's weird. He's a weird guy. He is? Yeah. I won't say publicly what it says. Bro, I got someone.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Let me see if I. From him? No. No, you know you can search that. Hey, don't touch my phone. Just put it to the top and put Sean O'Malley in the search bar. Fuck the guy. Oh, you won't give it to me now.
Starting point is 00:44:31 Dude, you're such a blue baller. If you were a woman, you would never have a boyfriend because you're a blue baller. If I'm a woman. I'm a guy, dude. Yeah, you are. And a pretty one, too. I thank you. That's my boy right there.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Some people think that you are the future of this division, right? You seem like the guy that can bring stability to a division where at the top, it's in a bit of a weird. place. So when you take it all in, right, when you look at the entire landscape of the division, when you look at you and Curtis, and then Cyril is still in the mix, then you have Jones and Steepey over here,
Starting point is 00:45:08 when you take in the whole landscape, what do you make it a heavyweight division right now? How do you intend to get one of these guys to actually fight you? Well, right now, the heavyweight division is in probably the best spot it's been in for a while. Yeah, there's definitely a bit of a jam up at the top. You know, it's stuck a little bit.
Starting point is 00:45:24 but as far as talent there's some really, really talented guys in there so as soon as John Jones decides what he's doing, like, is he even fighting Steeper at this point? Well, I think they're going to fight in New York. That's what they say, but I don't see any contracts being signed or anything announced, so we don't actually know.
Starting point is 00:45:40 But right now, I'm just doing my thing, to be honest. Like, Curtis Blades is a serious guy. He's a serious, serious, opponent, and I feel like if you look past someone like him, you're in for a bad time. But there had to be joy in when you showed up to that deal. that he at least acknowledged you, right?
Starting point is 00:45:55 Because Cyril didn't do that. Right? So at least, like, because I want to see you guys fight. Yeah. Look, John Jones beat a lot of us when we were older. Right, the first time I fought him, I was 35. Yeah. He's 38 now.
Starting point is 00:46:06 You're the young guy. I'd like to see him fight guys that are younger to see if that skill set still holds up. And I think that it would test you and him in ways that would make for a fantastic fight. I think so too. And I think I actually match up really well with him. But we'll see.
Starting point is 00:46:22 We'll see. We're sitting here. talking about John Jones. You know a lot more about John Jones than I do. John Jones is a tricky guy, so we don't know what he's going to do. Well, when he shows up to that cage, then he's as good as they come. Ultimately, getting him to that cage sometimes
Starting point is 00:46:35 isn't as easy as him being there. Guys, Tom Aspinall fights, Curtis Blaz this weekend, defends the end. Defending an interim championship, too. That's a little bit of a different situation, but hell, that's why we think you're the champion, because you're fighting even if it says interim, this guy's
Starting point is 00:46:51 the heavyweight champion in the world. He defends that belt this weekend against Curtis Blades at UFC 304. Make sure you hit the buy button. ESPN plus pay-per-view. And also go tap into what Tom's doing. Town. You got a YouTube channel anything yet? Yes, I do.
