Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:00:12 We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know, tired and sick. Tired and sick.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you. you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy. Not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
Starting point is 00:00:45 This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel. Help an Acapella band with their Between Songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the ice. Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, fam?
Starting point is 00:01:04 It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano. It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast, Point Game, the playoffs. We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season. And I'm looking back on some of my greatest playoff moments. If we didn't talk ever again, I was crying. You just understood. That's how personal it got.
Starting point is 00:01:20 Wow. Then after that game seven, Marquis' keep coming to you. He's like, you know, I love you, dog. You know, it's all love. This was just playoffs. This was just basketball. So listen to Point Game on the. IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Your husband is not who you think he is. Your body is not what you thought it was. Your identity is formed by a secret history. I'm Danny Shapiro, and these are just a few of the stunning stories I'll be exploring on the 14th season of Family Secrets. He kind of shoved me out of the way and said, move. And he went out the front door and he jumped in a car and drove off. And that was the last time I saw him.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Listen to Season 14 of Family Secrets on the IHeart Radio, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Every family has its secrets. But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life? That is not the look of an innocent man. Is everyone lying to me about who they are? I felt such desperation. I felt it was what I had to do.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Listen to Deep Cover the Family Man. On the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The volume. All right, guys, the boy's got something for you today. If you're suffering from daily aches and pains, listen to the boy. So top medical experts have unveiled a natural pain reliever that's changing the way that Americans fight pain.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Canolodine optimizes your body's natural pain killers over a million Americans and hundreds of professional athletes, including UFC fighters like you, boy. Best of all, guys? It doesn't cause any side effects. Groginess or addiction. It's all natural. And you can try it.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Canolodine for less than a dollar a day using my exclusive link below. Guys, the deal is risk-free for a full 90 days. So experience daily pain relief with canolidine. I mean, what do you have to lose outside of your pain? The boy definitely use it. And I'm all for it. Let's go. This is the first time we've done this.
Starting point is 00:03:40 A little DC check-in. Absolutely. You're the man. Absolutely. I hope I passed the test. Oh, you will, you will. So it's been a long time. I met you on the Ultimate Fighter. You're a baby. And, you know, you honestly didn't.
Starting point is 00:03:52 It wasn't that I could tell that you had a lot of ability, but it's not like you had this big personality that you have today. What happened? What changed to where you became such a character, but also showed all those great skills that you have inside the octagon? I think I took too many hits to the head. Now I'm just stuck crazy, brother. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:04:11 man, you're not crazy. Yeah, I mean, I just like to have a good time. And I don't want to offend nobody, but I also like speaking my mind. And I like talking about things other than fighting. And I think that really compels people because there's so much more to life than fighting. And fighting to me is actually boring to talk about. I like talking about farming and stuff like that and ideas and politics and, you know, things like that. Did fighting, so fighting just provides you a platform to do all those things that you love?
Starting point is 00:04:41 right absolutely I think that that's why God put me here is because he wants me to use the fighting platform to glorify his name and at the end of the day I do believe that is my God-given destiny yeah so you have won a lot you've had some some setbacks what would you make of your career to this point Bryce like I know when you left the ultimate fighter everybody has goals of becoming the champion what do you make of your placement today and how you think the career is going to this point. Well, I am grateful for every opportunity that I've had to even be able to do what I've done, but I'm really not satisfied. I'm really not, uh, have too much of a sense of accomplishment. Uh, but I do love the people that I'm surrounded with and the people that I've met. But as far as
Starting point is 00:05:26 my personal goals, I just haven't even scratched the surface and I kind of, uh, I'm really hard on myself and I really expect even better results. What are you trying to do to, to make sure that you start to go in the direction that you want to. Well, to win on Saturday, that's going to be what starts it. So I'm going to start me off a good win streak with a good finish and just go from there. I'm going to fight more often. That's the plan. So have you done anything different in the training?
Starting point is 00:05:52 Like have you got a different team, same team? What are you doing? Because a lot of times when a young fighter, if anything goes sideways, they try to restart everything. Get rid of everybody, restart everything, do something different. Have you done any of that? Well, I did start doing that strength. conditioning program. I've been real consistent. I was lifting three to four days a week. Was very consistent with my cardio. Also started traveling to Vegas. That was a big thing. And so I can
Starting point is 00:06:18 train with patchy mix, Dan, I gay, Al Jermaine. You're training out at a syndicate or at the street? Yes, sir. So I added in training at different spots. I added in weightlifting and even had one of the UFC people, Dawn. She's helping me cut the weight a little bit better. So I I've done multiple things to actually that will lead the better results to. And you had a baby? And I had a baby. What was the baby's name? Tucker.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Boy, a boy. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. How old is he? He's seven months old. Actually, eight months old now. And he's just so awesome. He's so adorable, brother.
Starting point is 00:06:54 I mean, I can't even say how much I love him. We named him Tucker because me and my wife met because I did an interview with Tucker Carlson. I remember that. Bro, it got millions of views. Was that one of the best time? Did you love it? tens of millions of views. Not only did I love it, it was my destiny, brother. I wouldn't have
Starting point is 00:07:10 a kid and a wife with that, with that to interview because I'm a very unique character. That's a nice way of saying. Yes, you are, Bryce. There is nobody that would say. She must not, you might, you must not have rapped before she married you. Oh no, she likes to wrap. No, she doesn't. She gets down. Get out of here. She loves it.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Come on, Rice. She can cook, she can clean everything in between. Really? Yes, brother. I'm telling you, she's a 10 out of 10, and I cannot even tell you how perfect this woman is. And we would have never met if I didn't go on Tucker Carlson. But at that point in my life, I was praying for a wife. I was literally just saying, God, please, give me a wife because if not, I'm in trouble. You know what I mean? Why, though?
Starting point is 00:07:54 Why in trouble? Just because that's just my lifestyle was all these stupid women had my attention. You know, and then I met her, and dude, two became one brother. I mean, that's the perfect example of two becoming one. I'm till death through his part. She ain't leaving me. I ain't left. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:08:11 No, we signed them damn papers. I'm telling you, bro. She's mine forever now. But there's nobody else that would do what she's done for me. And we only met because that interview. And, dude, that's how God works. You went on Tucker Carlson and you met your wife because of it. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:08:32 She messaged me on Instagram after that. hey I've seen you on Tucker Carlson and we started talking. So you were, you became famous. I guess a little bit, yeah. But you have very strong beliefs and all that, right? Like you said, you love talking politics. You love... Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Because that can be a bit intimidating, right? To go into that arena that you're not really, you know, you're not a train for it, equipped for it, right? Like to go into that arena, that can be very difficult. Absolutely. You're 100% right because from the outside, people say, hey, you're just a brain damage, stupid farmer, stupid fighter.
Starting point is 00:09:05 What do you know about politics? Do you know what I say? They like my tax dollars. After I fight my ass off, they'll take my taxes. So if I pay my taxes to these greedy sons of bitches, they're going to have to put up with my opinions now. Now, if they stop taking my taxes and leave me alone and I don't have to go by their rules,
Starting point is 00:09:22 and fine, you can do your politics. But when you impose your rules and your taxes on me, but you're going to hear my mouth. Bryce, but when you have an opinion at times it can alienate an entire section of people. Depending on what, you gotta be specific here.
Starting point is 00:09:37 No, I'm just saying. It's like if you, when you're on Tucker Carlson and you're talking, there's a whole other side of the world that goes, I don't like this guy because he's with Tucker Carlson.
Starting point is 00:09:45 See, so what I have done, what I have done in my career, I've completely steered away from politics, right? Because you could never make everybody happy. That just doesn't matter to you. That's right. Well, the truth is what matters.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Not making people happy. To me, the truth is what matters. And I believe with all my heart that I'm proclaiming the truth. When I say our government's corrupted and I give you exact examples, you're right. Not everybody's going to like me because of them.
Starting point is 00:10:08 But to me, it's not about people liking me. It's about me saying the truth to help bring freedom to this country that I love that I would die for because it's like I'm not ever going to get to be great and serve this country in the military to armed forces, but how can I fight for this country? I can come up here with no fear
Starting point is 00:10:25 and say what I believe needs to be said, and that's how I fight for our country. and if these communist bastards come in LPC, if they come to this country, I will gladly fight these companies but until then I don't get a chance to fight for our country. So I get to speak my mind. What's up guys?
Starting point is 00:10:43 UFC 310 is on the horizon. And boy, do we have some big fights coming to you from Vegas? Kaya Sakura gets an opportunity to fight against Pantosia for the UFC title in his UFC debut. And then Ian Gary and Chalkotamad, Rock Monoff fight, that is going to be a fantastic fight card. Bryce, you're fighting Kron Gracie this weekend. Yes, sir. Right? When you look at him as, I mean, we did six and a half minutes on you talking about just random stuff. And that's why you're awesome, right?
Starting point is 00:12:21 Because you talk about the fighting because that's what you are, but you're so much bigger. But you and Crowe and Gracie are fighting this weekend. When you break him down, like when you look at him, like you're a grappler, he's a grappler. Does that excite you? Or do you go, well, I know you're a grappler, but I'm a better striker.
Starting point is 00:12:38 I can do much more in mixed martial arts, and that's what's going to allow me to win this fight. I do believe that I'm more well-rounded, and I have to prove it on Saturday, but I can't exactly give you the game plan away. But I will say I'm not scared anywhere to fight goes, and I'm thoroughly excited about. this fight and it's the most grateful I've been in a long time you know coming off of a loss
Starting point is 00:12:58 I just have come back with this sense of gratitude just basically waking up every day thanking God hey I'm so glad I get to do this because a couple more losses like that you're done I remember when you were on the show you just wanted to get here yeah it was like man if we could ever get into the UFC yeah and now you're like embedded in it you fought the champion Iliate to pour you you've seen the top of the division looking back on that today How much can you apply? All those lessons learned to what you're trying to build for the future. I think every single one of these fights that I had is going to put me exactly where God wants me to be on this path of prosperity and victory.
Starting point is 00:13:37 And like you said, those were all learning lessons. And I just feel like I'm totally better than I ever have been. And I think every fighter should feel like that. But that's how I feel. Yeah. It's going to be an amazing fight. Absolutely. You had Crow and Gracie.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Like, if you can grapple and control him in the way that you did, because you think, that's some insane. Remember when you got that twister, that was nuts. Like you were riding the guy, you were riding the guy like the whole time and you could just see. You never fight them on the ground though. Like when the guy wants to go left, okay, I'll take you there. If you want to go right, I'll take you there. Like it really is great to watch how you've improved on the ground. Absolutely. I mean, and that fight specifically, the Rose's fight that you called, if you put me today back into that fight, I can finish that fight now. There's some things I would have done differently. So every fight, I'm learning, I'm getting better.
Starting point is 00:14:23 And even these losses, I'm telling you, brother, they put me where I need to be. And also, too, even though I am coming off of a loss, there's been so much victory in my personal life. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't feel like a loser. Even though on paper, I know I am. Tucker. Tucker makes you feel like a winner. That's what I'm saying, brother.
Starting point is 00:14:39 I feel like a winner. When you have a family. Yep. Guys, Bryce Mitchell fights, Cron Gracie this weekend at UFC 310. Doug Nasty. God bless y'all. I was watching you rap, car commercials. It got ridiculous for a while.
Starting point is 00:14:52 It got a little bit ridiculous for a while. Make sure you guys tap into everything Bryce is doing and make sure you get that buy button on the pay-per-view this weekend. This guy is going to be fighting against Cron Gracie on the pay-per-view card. Make sure you guys watch. Bryce, thanks for checking it with me. Thank you, my brother.
Starting point is 00:15:07 You guys go follow them and everything. Until next time, peace. Hey, guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what?

Starting point is 00:17:19 And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place. I'm Akila Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 is about both of those things. As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority black city in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslave people. Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed human.
