He would have kicked his head off his shoulders. I guess he's alluded to if Volcanobski being short. But like, bro, me, everybody's catching straights. Everybody's catching strays. So let's break it down. One, he attacks Khabib again. Yeah. Right.

That's ever. That's forever. He'll never not do that ever. He's going to be 80 years old attacking Khab. Why? Because he got beat by him. But he's jealous, of course. You think he's jealous of him.

No money can make up for that. That's what Khabib is. Khab is a fighting champion that everyone has a deep amount of respect for because of the way he lived his life. And Connor wishes he had that much respect for himself, but he's too busy with suits and King that he just can't get through himself. So, of course, he's jealous of Kabib.

How do you know he does all that stuff? You can't be saying stuff like that publicly, Ben. Ben, you cannot say stuff like that publicly without facts. Well, I'm pretty sure he put it on Twitter. It's like, yeah, two days ago, like Khabib's team are people associated with him, said something about Kana McGregor while we crap on him. He was the one that started a lot of this double champ and all this other stuff. So for the first time, Kabeb's team said something positive about Kana McGregor. I believe, or I think or I would hope, that's with the idea that down the line, you can get that fight for Islam Mahachab

because you know what it did for Kabid in terms of a star quality. Look what it did for Dustin Pori, who Islam is fighting. So if you can manage to get Connor versus Islam down the line, that's the fight you want. Even Islam said it himself. We're talking to Kamara Usman and Henry Suhudo. He said, you'd be an idiot not to fight Connor McGregor

knowing what it means to you financially. Hey, aren't we all jealous of Khabibib a little bit, though? Didn't we all want to retire on the feet in right off in the sunset? He was undefeated, bro. He was undefeated. He made a boatload of money. He got to retire on top. He retired on his own terms.

Not many get to do and quit in the way that he'll be quit. So yes, we're all a tad bit jealous. You know what? I'm also jealous of Khabi because the other day, during the, uh, the, uh,

do you wait for Champions League? Khabib's in Munich, watching Byron Munich in Real Madrid just randomly. He goes. And then he jumps in the car and drives down to Dortmund and watches Borussia Dortmund play against PSG. It's like that's the stuff that I'm jealous of, that he lives in Europe. He gets to travel to the football games. And he gets to watch high-level football and stuff like that.

But he's also got a boatload of money. He was undefeated. So there are a lot of reasons to be jealous of Kabeep. I would never have said that's the first word that comes to mind when Kahnah McGregor speaks about Habib. Why else can't he let it go? He can't let it go. Just because it always comes up out of nowhere.

Hey, Ben, is it more concerning, know that we are six weeks away from this fight? And it seems as Dole McGregor is sitting on the couch drinking. And he's about to fight, Michael Chandler? I mean, if you said, Ben, would you expect anything differently? I would say no. But if you're if you are a Connor McGregor fan, you're concerned about his performance in the Octagon, I think that yes, that that's absolutely concerning. but, you know, he made that.

And so, you know, why I say Connor wanted to be a great champion, which, you know, someone argued he was definitely on that path and he became a champion, but then he was never able to maintain that, right, because the levels of fame and money that came along with it. But if you remember, you know what, and I'm going to go way back here, when he won the belt against Aldo, he almost like started crying, you know, And that, I'm not even saying that as a negative thing. I'm saying that as a positive thing.

It was Mendez. It was Mendez when he won the interim title where it looked like he was overwhelmed with the emotion. Yes. Because then you, I'm sure you have one or many of those moments in your life. And actually, I was just telling Amy like how lucky I felt to like coach athletes who get to have that moment. And I get to have that moment with them. But that moment in your life when you knew I worked many years and it all led up to this and I did this. And I didn't know that it would happen.

It was not guarantee. There was no guarantee. You saw it in the Mendez fight. Yeah, yeah. Absolutely. He looked like he was overwhelmed. And I think at some point he kind of lost that. Like that, at some point he lost that like that.

I think he's still a fighter. Make no mistake about it. I think he's still a fighter. I think he's a high level fighter. But I think at some point, he kind of lost that love for everything that comes with that thing. I believe that he still loves to fight. I believe that he's still going to be a really good fighter. But it's loving to train and loving to like be in the grind.

So if you, so let me go back. Appreciate those moments. I don't know like some guys, look, some guys have so many of those moments. They almost become callous to it. It's the guy that can appreciate every one of those moments as if they're brand new that stays special. And I think that's very rare. I think it's very, very rare that a guy can do that. early in his career he fought you know connor fought a lot it was five and five and eleven three and twelve three and thirteen three and thirteen three and sixteen like he was super active you know and you could tell it's really important but then since then it's like you know one in two thousand eighteen one in two thousand twenty one he actually fought twice that year you know but he hasn't fought since july of twenty one so we're going on he broke his leg right he broke his leg yeah takes time but so that's

I mean, what's that? Four fights, one, two, three, four fights in the last really seven and a half years. Like, that's just not very active. So he's not the same guy he was. I think even with kind of the distractions, he's still a threat and he's still probably a good fighter. And he can, you know, definitely beat Michael Chandler. Michael Chandler can also beat him 100%. And this is definitely not the last drunken Connberger rant we're going to see.

It's going to be a regular thing for probably the next 20 years. You know, Chale Sondon said yesterday, Chil Sondon said yesterday, how in the world do we come to the conclusion that the most disciplined guy in Michael Chandler is going to lose to the most undisciplined guy in Connor McGregor.

Leon Edwards, on the other hand, is saying he wants the kind of McGregor fight. His non-Machachev wants the kind of McGregor fight.

Everybody wants the kind of McGregor fight. But when you look at the fight card and you see that Tom Aspon, Curtis Blades are fighting for the heavyweight championship or the interim title, is that the real world championship or is the real world championship going to be fought for by John Jones and Steve Amyotruch in November?

I mean, you know, we've talked about this before. I love, I wanted Tom Aspinall to stay active. I wanted him to continue to fight, so he's fighting, which is great. Yeah, I suppose that's probably the right opponent. You know, Curtis is number four. He's had a bunch of wins.

Is there anyone else? Not really. You know, Cyril Gan. Well, you know, Cyril Gan got offered the fight, but he turned it down. He's doing the movie. Yeah. Oh, okay, yes.

I mean, that's probably the one. So, yeah, I think Blades is the right one then. I mean, I wish it would just be Jones and Aspinall. I think that's a fight to make. It is crazy to me. You know, John Jones is so stuck on Steepa and I, and Steve- Did you see him, did you see him argue with the fan? He's arguing about it.

But it's almost like he's defending the position. And then when he's defending the position, it's like, John, why are you defending your choice of opponent? That makes you look like you need to defend your choice of opponent when you shouldn't have to defend your choice of opponent. Like, but then Stepe is so weird. because it's like, I like Stepe, but he literally has a fought in like,

I don't remember, was it three, three and a half years? It's something like... It's something that's so long ago. 42 whenever they walk into the Octagon. Yeah, at that point, it's like, well, are you even an active fighter? Because, you know, man, has anyone else ever got a title shot off three years of inactivity? I mean, I'm guessing the answer is yes,

but it's probably few and far between. Hey, can I tell you something? Yeah. The last time Steepi Meotches won was against. me in 2020. Yeah. Alex Pereira, Drich's Duplice,

had not even debuted in the UFC. Oh my God, that's so crazy to think about it. Isn't that crazy? That's so crazy. I mean, that's a long time, bro. That's a long time. To not have won a fight,

but also, he only fought Francis after that and then lost. He hasn't fought again. It's been a long time. But. Yeah, it's all, it's okay. I bet no one's ever done this.

I bet no one's ever done this, Daniel. Title shot after three plus years of inactivity and coming off a loss. That's surely that's never happened, right? Not even to McGregor. But, but, but I think that's, I think that is, uh, I think that is partly due to the fact that he is considered the greatest heavy way to all time, right? And John Jones is saying, I want to fight. Yeah, but three years and off a loss, like, that's crazy.

And, you know, like I said, he said when he lost to Francis, he should have got an immediate rematch. and he still... I wouldn't have hated that, actually. I actually wouldn't have hated that. You know, those kids say that, stand on business? Have you heard that stand on business? Yeah, I don't exactly understand what it means, but I see the kids, they like type in the phone or something.

He's like making fucking gestures. I was like, what does this mean? So I didn't know what happened on the football game. So I go to my group mess and I go, I send my high school team.

I go, oh my God, junior just did some of the coolest stuff I've ever seen on the wrestling Matt. His celebration was awesome. And I sent him a video of it because his parents had it. And they go, oh, he just did what D.K. Metcalf did. But I guess it means, guess it means. whatever you say you're going to do, you're willing to stand and do it.

Regardless, it's something that seems like it's bigger an obstacle that you can't possibly accomplish. You stand on business. That's my interpretation of it. Okay. So back to my point. God thing, man.

Steve, stay on business. He said, I'm getting a rematch. I am going to will this rematch into existence. Didn't happen, but now he's fighting for the heavyweight championship in the world. But again, that's the problem. This right here, Ben, is the problem.

This right here, our intention was to talk about Tom Aspinall versus Curtis Blades. And what did the conversation turn to? Seriously. Yes, because everyone wants to see, because here's what we want to know. We don't get, for instance,

Gainu's fighting anymore because he's not even fighting mixed martial arts. We want to who the best heavyweight in the world is. That's what everyone wants to know. And in order to do that, we need to fight Tom Aspinall versus John Jones because Steve Bay has not fought in three and a half years and his last fight's a loss. And it sucks, but all of our times passes us.

Steve-Bays 42 and he should have been more active. He hasn't fought in forever. Let's go Tom Asmel versus John Jones. That's what I'm in for. I know John is not and Steve-A is not, so I know that the other fight will probably happen, but it is really unfortunate. It's unfortunate, but dude, it sucks, though,

because these guys do understand, or we understand that these two are as good as they come in regards to heavyweights. But the moment you start talking about them, the conversation shifts to Jones versus Stepe, and I think Jones even alluded to that. He goes, he said, guys, they're fighting in the co-main event. I just don't know that Tom Aspinall

is his public, his public stance, standing is big enough right now for John Jones. And Jones is making that known bro. And he's kind of just ignoring him. And him being the co-main event, I get it in the interim title fight. I don't think that helps either.

I just don't. That's, I mean, I mean, I don't know. I think everyone still wants it. Like, I think if you pulled the fighting public, you know, the public fighting fans, we would all say, Aspen Oliver Jones is the fight we want. I don't care that it's the co-main event.

And also, you know, I mean, I love the buildup and whatnot, But I also love the sporting aspect of the sport, not just the showtime, you know, entertainment aspect. And that's the fight to make. So I know, we didn't even mean to talk about this. I said we beat this dead horse.

So I think, No, but that's what I'm saying. That's why I wanted to talk about Tom Aspinall. And I want to talk about Curtis Blades. Because does Curtis Blades present a stylistic matchup problem for Aspinall? Or have we seen enough of Tom Aspinall wrestling and defending takedowns to believe that he can defend him from a guy in Curtis Blades. And how does Curtis Blades handle if he can't take him down?

Because we have not seen him do very well when he's in that type of situation very often. Yeah, yeah. I think maybe this fight makes Tom Aspinall an even bigger star, which then propels him to, his last performance was great. His last performance was really awesome. So maybe this one kind of springboards him again to the, you know, the stressor where Jones lost. The last fight was very indicative of what could happen if he can't get takedowns.

Because you remember Jayalton, El-Aid just diving for takedowns? He just exhausted himself because he was so afraid to stand with Curtis Blades. Curtis can't do the same thing. Yeah. Does Belaw Muhammad have a chance? Yeah, of course. Of course. You think so?

I trained with Bilal a lot back in the day. Is this wrestling good enough to handle Leon when Kamar Uswan couldn't really feel? So his, his, I mean, Bilal had much. much better defensive wrestling than offensive wrestling, but that, you know, that was a long time ago. And,

you know, I think he probably knows key to this fight is getting takedowns. He, he was always very strong, defensively striking, like kind of hard to hit and tricky and he kept distance really well. Obviously,

Leon does the same thing. So unfortunately, I think given that notion, there's a chance this is a really boring fight, right? You think so? Oh, my God. Leon cannot afford another boring fight.

Well, he cannot afford another boring fight after the Kobe County fight. There's a very good chance, I think of that. happening. I think, you know, both are being very strategic and very tactical. And for both of them, you know, and maybe this is what everyone wants to hear, but they are in for the sporting aspect of it. They really both want to be the best in the world. And, you know, Leon is already there. But Belal wants to be there. And they're probably more concerned about trying to be the best

in the world than they are to try to entertain the fans, which, you know, for me, that, that is more important. And I know some people don't agree with me, but sports greater than entertainment. But I, you know, I actually agree with you. I don't. I think there's a kid right now named Terrence McKinney, and you probably won't know who. Yeah, I've heard of him. He got knocked out last week and St. Louis again.

And this dude gets all this love for like, he gets all this love for like being so reckless and fun and his fights lasts a minute. But he's sometimes getting knocked out. I'm like, yo, he has so much potential. But because he wants to fight in that fashion, he loses. I'm like, dude, you could. literally tighten things up and have the success that's going to be longstanding.

And also you kind of save your brain because getting knocked out time and time again is not good. So it's like you got to gauge how much you want to veer into that exciting fighter. We've had a lot of people do do that, that thing, right? It's led them to really long. I think Chandler's like that. That's a problem. like that, Gaichi, Donald Seroni, like we've had kind of a lot of people take that route.

And it is, it's kind of a fun, exciting route to take. Make a lot of money too. Make a lot of money, but maybe is not the most direct route to the title. But so if you're not really interested in, you know, trying to be the best in the world, then maybe that's the path for you because it probably is a path of more money and better opportunities.

That's a lost thought on you and I don't, boy. All we've ever known how life has be the best in the world. That's what I wanted to try to do. When we learn to wrestle at a high level, everybody's like, you go be the best in the world if you want to prove that you belong. All right, before I let you go, Chale's son in this fight in Anderson Silva. What you're making at, bro? A boxing fight. Chale, I love you.

I don't know why you're boxing. At least when I took my boxing fight, I thought this dude sucked. Like, I thought he was really bad. Unfortunately for me, he's not all that bad. And he's kind of continued to be a boxer and win boxing matches. I really don't know why Chil's doing it. You know, Anderson is a very good striker. He's actually had multiple boxing matches.

He did lose to Jake Ball. He did lose to Jaze Chavez. But he beat Julio Cesar Chavez, who doesn't, Darren Tills fighting him. Yeah, Darren Tills fighting him next. Coming up. So I don't know why. Chil maybe hopefully was honest and told you why he's doing it.

I don't know why he's doing it. He's fighting. He wants to fight. And guess what? He's fighting George Mazzvedo. in this fall. He's fighting this. Wait, what?

And he's fighting George Mazzvedal later in the year. Is that an ounce or are you used to like making up rumors? Bro. What you doing? He told me yesterday on our show. He said that he's fighting George Mazzvedal. He said one of the reasons he's fighting George is because when we went to Miami, bro, it was the craziest thing. Chill and I.

So that's when Nate Diaz was bullying me, right? and George Mazzvedo was bully and jail. So we were literally, like, sequestered. We had security following us to make sure. Like, could they want those dudes wanted to fight you or what? They wanted to beat us up because we were making things. Why didn't you beat them up? You're bigger than them.

That's what I'm saying. It was the most insult. Dude, you can insult someone by trying to protect them. So you're telling me now, I've made it to a point in my life where you have to protect me from Nate Diaz, Is that crazy? I think you'd want to fight against Nate Diaz. There's no way to be sure.

There's no way to be sure. I guess they're worried about the entourages and stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Chale said it bothered him so much that he realized he had to fight George Mazzvedo. So now Chil's fighting Anderson now, and he's fighting George Mazzved all later in the year. But he should, you know, I mean, listen, in a fight, in a mixed martial arts fight, I don't know. I mean, Chale obviously lost Harrison, but I definitely made him a favorite against George.

100% for sure. But in a boxing match? It's too big. He's just too big. But in a boxing fight, I don't know if he's the favorite in either one of the fights. That's not really chill specialty.

He can't box that good. I don't remember him ever. You know, him and I boxed one time at J.R. Really? I didn't know. Oh, he's working out. Huh?

Just working out. Just working out. We're boxing and stuff, right? He never was the most fluid boxer. All of his stuff was intention was to get the fight to the ground. Yeah, get close. Get close.

get the fight to the ground. But he's fighting these guys now in these fights tonight. Don't quite understand. But the one thing about the Anderson fight, right? And it makes sense. Their fight is going into the Hall of Fame. Their boxing match is two weeks before the Hall of Fame. So you get a chance to get this great visual, right?

Like, you get a chance to get this great visual. Like you watch Chale and Anderson fight in Brazil and then you, uh, those guys. But now they're what? They're both 40. They got to be late 40s and they're boxing. I just. Anderson's 49, Chales, 47. Okay, do whatever.

I mean, listen, I am all, I am team, choose your own life, do what you want. I'm not going to tell people what to do. But, yeah, I don't know. I guess, you know, I guess we all have that competitive instinct in us. And some of us, you know, we always want to kind of live that out. But I don't know if boxing is the best way for Chale to do it. I hope he does great. Did you see, did you see, did you see this Joe Rogan clip on?

What? Dude, Joe Rogan explaining Paul versus Tyson. So Joe Rogan explains, and dude, look, we all take what Joe says as, we all take what Joe says as a fact or as a grain of salt. And so he was talking about the Paul Tyson fight. And he said, and I want to know what you think it is. I'm pretty sure you guys didn't have anything in this. But Joe said that Mike Tyson has a causinous contract with Jake Paul that if he knocks him out in round one, he gets no money.

But he only gets money as the fight goes longer. As the fight goes longer. I don't believe it. Why would Mike Tyson sign a contract that said that? Bro. I don't believe. I think that's high. So you just think that Joe's lying.

I want to, I told, listen, I've been public. I got one minute left. I'm going to tell you this and then I got to go, Daniel. Okay. The one thing, one time, they tried call me.

They tried call me and they said, hey, how about Jake's concern you're going to do mixed martial arts moves? So how about we put in your contract? You lose $100,000 if every time you do one.

they attempted at one time, but even I was, by them to say, hey, dummies, no way. You know, like, this is preposterous. And they tried to, oh, yeah, the state us, the London Commission wants it. I said, no, they don't. This is you guys.
