and a little bit more ready to fight him right now. Look, the Mike Tyson thing, you guys know how I felt about that. I felt it was ridiculous, which we'll get to a little bit later. But him fighting Mike Perry, it's on brand in one regard, but it's refreshing because Perry is still young

and still fighting in this prime. Honestly, it's in bare knuckle, but he's still fighting well. So when I first heard it, and this is what I mean by its own brand. When I first heard it, I thought, okay, he's fighting a small guy. Because Mike Perry fought at 170

when he was in the UFC, and now in bare knuckle, he seems to fight between 170 to 200, I guess. So I said, okay, Jake Paul wants to fight another small guy. But then, but then I started to think about it. When Luke Rockhold fought Mike Perry in bare-knuckle, when he got the fight, I will admit me as Luke's friend,

me as a guy that has seen Mike Perry in mixed martial arts, me as a guy that knows what Luke Rockhold's capable of, I immediately said to Luke, oh, this is easy money. He's too small. on brand for Jake because Jake fights smaller guys. It is what it is. Tyrone Woodley's small. Ben Ascran small.

He really has fought Walter weights, right? Anderson was the only bigger one. And Anderson is past his prime. Then he fought Tommy Fury, but he lost. He's beating smaller guys. Nate Robinson's tiny, right? They're all small. So I immediately thought this is on brand.

because I remember telling Luke, easy money, you're going to make a million dollars to beat up on a small dude. And then we all saw what Mike Perry did to my boy. Guys, Mike Perry might look small, but this dude is an absolute killer. My wonder is, though, can Mike Perry do in boxing what he does in bare knuckle?

Because my deal is this, when it comes to Mike Perry and bare knuckle boxing. I don't know if there's anyone in the world that could beat him in that arena. I really don't. That is in part due to the fact that Mike just does not care. I think Mike Perry is hilarious. I think Mike Perry has found a way to stay relevant in the world

that can be very unforgiving for someone that gets to the highest level of the sport and it kind of flames out. The way that he has reinvented himself, it's crazy and he hasn't changed. He's still the wild man that he was in the UFC. He's still the guy that people always go. Well, Mike Perry's out of his mind.

Sure, he's out of his mind. But in that arena, in bare-knuckle boxing, I believe that benefits him to the point that these guys just can't go with him. Tiago Alves, right? Tiago Alves, who's a tremendous fighter. Luke Rockhold, who's a champion. They could not compete with him in that arena,

partly due to the fact that Mike Perry just don't give a damn. Hit him with no gloves. He don't care. He'll keep fighting you. He's made for it. But does that translate to boxing? They're going to fight in a weight class where they're going to have eight-ounce gloves. Eight-ounce gloves in the boxing arena will feel like pillows to a guy like Mike Perry who has been fighting with nothing on his hands.

Even the UFC, we only have four-ounce gloves. really four-hams gloves. He's not fighting with eight-ounce gloves. Can his boxing stand up to Jake Paul? Will that intimidation of, I don't give a damn, play as much a part in a boxing fight? Can Mike Perry stalk him in the way that he stalks these guys

in bare-knuckle and does the damage make Jake Paul start to question himself like he did to Luke Rockhole, like it did to, Tiago Alves. Like, I mean, he hurt Eddie Alvarez. Bad. Bad.

These are tough guys. What we have learned about Jake is that he possesses enough skills to cause problems for many in the boxing ring. He's going to be bigger than Perry. He's going to have more boxing experience

than Perry. But does that equate? If I'm being honest with you, I believe that Mike Perry wins his fight. I think Mike Perry is going to make this fight just ugly enough to beat Jake. But if he doesn't, if he doesn't, and if his game plan isn't ideal, he will find himself putting himself in dangerous areas and Jake Paul can crack. Now, to Mike Tyson, what happened? What happened to the Mike Tyson fight? When that, when Mike Tyson's plane went at the emergency

land because Mike was having an issue. They told us they were rescheduled in the fight. They were rescheduled. Now we get news that Jake is fighting with Mike Perry on. Let me find the date real quick right here. Jake Paul is fighting Mike Perry on July 20th. So six weeks, they're going to fight very soon. He's going to turn around and fight Mike Tyson again in the fall.

It's fast. Does he just anticipate he will take no damage against Mike Perry? November 15th is the date for Paul versus Tyson at AT&T Stadium. Now he's going to fight July 20th and November 15. Seems fast. It seems fast. And what happened to MMA? I thought Jake was going to fight MMA.

What happened to that? I thought he was going to fight in the PFL. One thing you can't question those is the kid is fighting or his intention is to fight. And it seems as though now he's ready to take on riskier opposition. Because for anything you call him, you got to call Mike Perry a fighter. He will fight in any arena created because he ain't afraid of shit. It is what it is. That's who he is.

And say what you want about Mike's age. I saw Demetri Johnson say something about that fight the other day. And he shares a lot of. of the same thoughts as a lot of us, but say what you want. Mike Tyson will try to fight you when you get in there. And I felt like we saw a little bit of that in the press conference when he was talking about the kid.

You could see Mike doesn't really respect him. I just don't know if his body's going to hold up enough to fight him. But you know who will? Mike Perry. Mike Perry will fight him. And Mike Perry will fight him on the street, in the cage, in a boxing ring, or in a bare-knuckle arena.

is a kid's a fighter. So I'm going to watch this one. 100% I am going to watch this one. Because I got to know. I got to know, one, can Mike Perry's style work in boxing as it does in bare knuckle? Two, is Mike Perry just a really, really good bare knuckle fighter? And how much of an impact on the fight does Mike Perry's,

I don't give a shit out of it? to have in bare knuckle fighting because you could see when he hit Luke, Luke turned away like, oh shit. You can see Tiago Alves realized I don't really want to do this. Takes a different type of person to fight in that arena. How big of an advantage is that to Mike in that arena? And does that translate to boxing? Can Jake Paul use all these new skills to handle Mike Perry in a way that we have seen him beat guys like Tyrol,

Tyron Woodley, Ben Ascran, Nate Robinson, and a couple of others. Can he do that? I don't know. It's going to be a real fight, though. So yeah, I'm excited.

I like that one. This is probably the most exciting fight I've had for Jake Paul, but I believe he gets beat. Jake Paul gets beat July 20th. And then what happens in November with the Mike Tyson fight? Does it still go forward?

Do they still do it? Or do they move? on to something different. I don't know. I don't know, guys. But that, that to me was the news of the day. I'm about to head off the Saudi. So, uh, long travel for me. I'm traveling by myself with nobody else from the UFC. So that'll be nice to just have all those hours to myself. But off the Saudi, where I will sit down with Robert Whitaker checking with him on the changing opponent, but also on his expectations and his idea that he can work his way up to a championship. opportunity.
