Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hey guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick. And guess what? We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
Starting point is 00:00:12 We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it. But, you know, tired and sick. Tired and sick.
Starting point is 00:00:30 you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy. Not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel. Help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the ice. Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:01:04 Your husband is not who you think he is. Your body is not what you thought it was. Your identity is formed by a secret history. I'm Danny Shapiro, and these are just a few of the stunning stories I'll be exploring on the 14th season of Family Secrets. He kind of shoved me out of the way and said, move. And he went out the front door, and he jumped in a car and drove off, and that was the last time I saw him. Listen to Season 14 of Family Secrets on the IHeart Radio.
Starting point is 00:01:30 app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed. And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place. I'm Akila Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 is about both of those things. As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority black city in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslave people.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Every family has its secrets. But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life? That is not the look of an innocent man. Is everyone lying to me about who they are? I felt such desperation. I felt it was what I had to do.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Listen to Deep Cover the Family Man on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast. or wherever you get your podcasts. The volume. All right, guys, it's the winter time. You know, like, it's kind of cold outside, but that don't stop the boy, D.C., from getting out and about and enjoying all kinds of live events. And when I do enjoy live events,

You could be going to a concert, comedy show, UFC, NFL postseason is about to start. Baseball season, basketball, the game time map has got you covered. Starting point is 00:03:21 Our friends at Game Time got you covered. So again, sign up using my promo code DCTV for any of your entertainment at the GameTime app and save $20 off for that first purchase. Come on, man. Grab you a lady. I'll grab you, man. Take him out on the date. Take him out a night on the town.
Starting point is 00:03:40 And use the game time map to do it. Let's go. Okay, guys. So earlier in the week, we released a video with all of my best moments for my check-ins. But how about the biggest DC moments, me, from calling out Ben Ascran with someone that insane takes that he has to putting out bets, wrestling people, teaching technique treat teaching people to speak English we just had a hell of a year this year at DC TV so let's take a look back at the boy DC's biggest moments my most out-of-pocket moments
Starting point is 00:04:26 because there are times where I look back myself and I go what in the world was I thinking but let's see oh my goodness it does not look good Francis heard bad Francis heard bad Josh was going to put it up Oh my God Oh my God You're not the little kid that I used to know you Right? Sitting outside in the hotel
Starting point is 00:05:00 You're not that kid no more No son Oh my guy Look at my guy You know the shoes everything My mic is telling you My Mike just keep falling on You gotta get you the fanny pack
Starting point is 00:05:17 I get you the nervous around you you, I get that championship energy, you know, like, last time it was fight week and we were talking like this, it was cool, you know, like, it was cool, but like, I was beating you and Madden. I wasn't really, like, trying to, like, I wasn't really like trying to, like, help your confidence. You know, you're supposed to really help a dude when they're on the verge of a championship, and I beat the shit out of you. I mean, I'm a hell, I can help you remember what happened, what actually happened.
Starting point is 00:05:42 I got the footage, bro. You got the foot. I got the footage. I have the footage. I have the footage. Just know that. with my YouTube channel, my video coming out first, and you know what I'm gonna do.
Starting point is 00:05:52 You know how I do. You know how I do. In your story, you always won. So what I was kind of like, before we get started, so the injury, right, everything, it's public knowledge now. Yeah. All right, guys, they don't want to have to do this. So, Jamal got hurt with playing basketball.
Starting point is 00:06:13 The people don't know is, I did it. I crossed it. Hey, I did it. I crossed him. Now, I'm going to just tell you all the truth. How did they smoke you? So what happened is, you know, I didn't want to tell you at first. I didn't want to tell you at first I was scared of me.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Like, I was scared for you to find out what happened. What happened was I did it. I hit him with the, y. Y. Hit Michael Jordan. It was flipped. It was flipped. It was the young dude.
Starting point is 00:06:44 You don't stop comparing yourself to Mike, bro. It was the young guy. You got to stop this. It was the young dude with AI doing it to the older guy. But with us, it was the older guy did it to the young guy. I crawled Jamal. He fell and all of a sudden I started picking him up. If he did that, he would have been the injured one.
Starting point is 00:07:00 He would have been the injured. I was giving y'all work. Y'all got lucky. I had about, what, 20 points in like five minutes on y'all? He kind of played well. Yeah, you know why, right? Because Phil is a ball. Phil is the biggest ball hog ever in a basketball game.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Phil's a ball haul. But he still had all your football. points off a free throw. How are we playing a pickup game and he got all his push off free throws? Come on, man. Who paid the rest? You paid the rest? Come on, man. Come on, man. You can tell me. It was a long time ago. Okay, I might have paid the ref. I know
Starting point is 00:07:32 you paid the rest. You know that brother. You know you saw that brother. Sorry, bro. He was on some bullshit, man. He was a cheat that. He was a cheater. That dude was a cheater. I sniffed him out immediately. I was like, oh, this guy right here will cheat for me. Let me give him 20 bucks. I did everything I could.
Starting point is 00:07:49 I told Josh, I was like, bro, don't let D.C. get alone with the rest, bro. Don't let him do anything. It's never, it's never, it's never, it's never, it's never, every opportunity. Every opportunity you get. They always try to watch me because they know I got it. Every opportunity. Anyhow, Jamal Hill, thanks for checking in with me, my brother. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:08:09 First off, I have no problem with Nate Diaz. I have no issue with him. I don't. I don't really know Nate. I've always respected Nate for what he did. So I the Octagon. so and so. I'm a lot of things, guys.
Starting point is 00:08:24 But one thing I'm not is nobody, bitch. I'm not a bitch. So my question is this. When did it become okay for men to start calling each other their name like that? When did that become okay? You know, I don't disrespect nobody in my assessments of them. I try my best to be as fair as I can't.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I don't quite understand, as I got to slide to the right, why people think it's okay to attack you in that way, especially calling you outside your name like that. That's not cool, man. You don't get to just talk to people any way you want, but also just being in a disrespectful manner. It's not cool. It seems reckless that so many can be,
Starting point is 00:09:24 so disrespectful in the approach. I don't get that. I really don't get that. But I'm nobody's bitch. And to say I'm not a fighter is just, I don't get it, man. I don't get it because, again, I feel like I was actually pretty fair to this dude. Because when you really think about it,
Starting point is 00:09:47 to say, I'm not a fighter, when you really think about it, Nate Diaz was fun. Nate Diaz got to a championship opportunity. But if I'm not a fighter, what'd that make him? What does that make him? If I did what I did and if he did what he did, would that make him? You know, one time I was talking to Habib,
Starting point is 00:10:23 and it was when Nate was coming at Habib, and Nate said, Habib said something to the effect of, this man has lost 12 or 13 fights in his career. He's like, Daniel, I can't respond to this guy. I can't take this guy serious because who loses to that many people? How can you call me not a fighter when you have had those instances? What did I do? I fought the best.
Starting point is 00:10:48 I fought the best in the world constantly. So to say I'm not a fighter because I'm making the, because I have an opinion on whether I'm not I want to see him headline the sphere. the sphere is going to be one of the greatest paper view experiences that we've had in the UFC Nate Diaz on Mexican Independence Day would fit the card beautifully
Starting point is 00:11:13 a main event would have to be against the Connor McGregor maybe hey maybe George Mazadol I don't want to fight Nate Diaz but George Masvedo does why is he attacking me when George Mosvado at his gym. He in Stockton.
Starting point is 00:11:35 That's what the energy should be directed. That dude wants to fight you, not me. I'm over here making YouTube videos about what I think will be a great card while still actually saying I would appreciate seeing you on the car. When in reality, when you look at what you've done recently, I don't know if many people
Starting point is 00:11:56 that may not possess your star power even get an opportunity to be on that car. I don't even know if they get a chance, but because of your star quality, because of your popularity, if you were back in the UFC, you would get that opportunity. I'm saying I would check it and tap into it.
Starting point is 00:12:17 I don't see how that is disrespectful. But the reality is the one thing we will not do is compare myself to Nate Diaz because it's different levels. Much different. I'm a champion. Two weight classes. I lost three times in my career.
Starting point is 00:12:32 four if you count the fight that was called in no contest four times two guys we are on much different wavelengths we are on much different planets we're not in the same stratosphere in terms of fighters we're not and it's time for me to stop allowing people to attack or come at me in these ways
Starting point is 00:12:54 when I'm doing my job but can I still get into the stuff that I was doing back in the day no I can't be fighting in clubs I don't go to clubs I can't be approaching people I don't do that but I'm not a bitch I'm not going to disrespect nobody
Starting point is 00:13:11 and I'm not going to sit up there and just get disrespected by these dudes because that's not right it's not right and not even just to me to a man you don't call a man out of his name
Starting point is 00:13:26 you don't do that at least not where I'm from I don't get it I don't get it. Like I said in the beginning, I don't have a problem with Nate Diaz. I don't. He clearly has a problem with me.
Starting point is 00:13:43 Gilroy is an hour and a half away from Stockton. I live here. I'm not trying to fight. I'm not going to be up there fight with this man in the streets. But we can always just have a conversation. If you have a problem with something I said, but to call me up my name like that, and to say the boy ain't deal what the boy did.
Starting point is 00:14:00 I mean, Louise's going to pull up a whole bunch of videos and run a highlight rule of what I did in my career. And in those pictures, going to be a lot of belts and a lot of championships. I fought the best. I very rarely had opportunities to fight guys that weren't on my level. I can only imagine what my record would be if I did.
Starting point is 00:14:26 If I wasn't fighting Bigfoot Silver in my eighth fight or Josh Burnett in my night fight, Think about that. Nine fights into my career less than three years after starting. I'm fighting Josh Burnett. So to wrap it up, Nate, here's the deal. I ain't got a problem with you. When I see, hey, I'm going to tip my hat off to you.
Starting point is 00:14:44 If you want to say something to me, come up to me. Tell me what the issue is. We can discuss it. Like men. What's up, guys, welcome to a brand new episode of Funkie and the champ. I'm Daniel Cormier. That is my man, Funky Ben Astrin. Ben, I, dude.
Starting point is 00:15:03 When you sat down the size of your shoulders, I mean, I mean, you look fantastic. I see you at the tournaments. I saw you sitting on the wrestling mat the other day. I was like, Ben looks better than he did whenever we were in the Olympic Games. Well, I mean, I don't know about all that. No, serious, you do? I'm telling you that guy that seen and saw you. Yeah, well, I'm trying to stay lean.
Starting point is 00:15:27 But I started being dessert 18 months ago. That was really helpful. it really was. I love dessert. I really thought I was going to miss it and I don't really miss it at all. What do you mean? Like what were you eating for your desserts? Every, every day. Ice cream, whatever. I would eat dessert every day, Daniel. Something. You don't need them anymore. No, I just thought one day I just stopped. That's kind of, isn't that weird like how strong your mind is whenever you think you like really enjoy something and you just. go, I don't want to do it anymore,
Starting point is 00:16:04 and you can kind of stop it. I kind of got that obsessive personality type. Well, and I'll tell you, for me, so the first time I retired, I meant it. I really did mean it. And the second time I retired, I had my hip surgery, so I literally had no choice. Like, I couldn't do anything.
Starting point is 00:16:19 But it was like, dude, I've been making weight for, you know, so 2017, I probably been making weight seriously for like 20 years. Like 20 years of making weight on an almost, you know, year-round basis. I'm not going to look at a scale. I didn't look at a scale for 10 months. I didn't look at it. I didn't care. So finally, and this is before I got traded DFC,
Starting point is 00:16:40 but I'm like, okay, I got to do something, so I'm not super fat the rest of my life. So I got on a scale and I was like, 2.10, and I'm like, I'm going to wrestle at Midlands. So I had to make weight, right? This is the only way us as wrestlers know how. So I got to make weight. And then the second time I retired,
Starting point is 00:16:55 I did the same thing. I just ate whatever I wanted because I didn't want to worry about it. And then at some point, it was like, okay, all right, now I'm really, really, really done. Like, there's no way I'm doing anything else. So then it's like, well, I got to make a choice here. Either I'm going to be able to keep wrestling with my athletes or I'm not, you know, so I decided to get serious about it.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Well, it's working my guy. You look fantastic. You know. Yeah, I saw Islam hustling you online, actually. So you maybe you could do the same thing. You could quit dessert too. No. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:27 You do it now. I've literally, I've literally done way too much. Like, I started like actually like really cutting weight. I made the world team in cadets. And then after that, it was always like making world teams. It's like, then you were cutting like super big weight. Yeah. And I'm like, ah, don't really want to do that anymore.
Starting point is 00:17:47 I'm good. I'll maybe just eat a little better and go work out. But nah, I ain't doing it. I'm not going to be uncomfortable anymore. Like, fuck that. That's just all those days are over. I just wanted to tell you, though, man, honestly, like the reason I don't want you to retire is because it's selfish.
Starting point is 00:18:05 I'm a fan, man. It'd be hard for us as fans of the UFC to not have you walk into the octagon a couple times a year, but we appreciate you and your work. And, dog, I'm a fan, man. I know when I met you way back in the day walking into that little bullshit, Jimmy all had? When I beat you up?
Starting point is 00:18:20 Man, you know you didn't beat me. That's some bullshit. I think I took you down that day. You took me down? Dustin, Porier. That was before he moved to Dagestand, though. You were in a... So all my Olympics and shit didn't matter the way you taking me down.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Nope. But you just said Mateo takes you down. I'm putting in Mattel's game rock, bro. I'm talking about the offense. Not the defense. I'm pinning Mattel's game rock. I don't know, man. He's strong.
Starting point is 00:18:44 And he looks like he's in shape. Always. That's my problem. I'm not in shape no more. I'm wrong. Yeah. ADP. Good luck this weekend.

The camera's right there. No. This dude wants to make it too much money. Guys, until next time, thank you, D.P.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Appreciate your, man. That kale edition, boy, that's-nasty. It's too much. Yeah. Ham is sweat. Yeah, because you can't put it like a hot sauce on every bite. It's for a big pot, like gumbo. You want to heat the whole thing up.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Put it, yeah, yeah. Half the bottle. Not that. No, no, no. I'm going to burn these mugs of California. Or like a half a bottle in a crawfish boil. In Lafayette, they're putting that whole bottle in that. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:55 I'm burning them up. I'm complete wrestler for M.M.A. Not like just taking single leg, double leg. Yeah. So, yeah. It's good to have you back, man. It's been too long. Thank you, man.
Starting point is 00:20:12 Hey, you might be a good wrestler, bold, Nick, or all those guys. When have you ever found yourself stuck in an octagon with me? I'll take your ass down over and over again. Boom! Hamza, you just going for a ride with me. Oh, imagine. How many times I kill you? Imagine if I was your weight class.
Starting point is 00:20:26 How many times I kill you? Every time we wrestle, I kill you. Guys. Never. Never. Every time we wrestle, I kill this guy. Brother, in your dreams, you can't wrestle me, more. Come on.

Starting point is 00:23:09 I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band. Before Jonas Brothers was... This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast.

I don't know. Like, I was laughing. Tell me you weren't laughing at that. I was, but I was like, well, it was because it was the, it was the red jacket.
Starting point is 00:27:28 It was a ridiculous It was a ridiculous jacket You thought that Michael Jackson looking jacket Was ridiculous? I thought yes I thought that was one of the most stylish things I've seen a person wear With no shirt
Starting point is 00:27:42 O'Malley was wearing that with no shirt You don't live in California too long bro Huh? What? California too long Don't forget your route You're from Louisiana And then Oklahoma
Starting point is 00:27:52 That shit don't fly around here in the Midwest Wait The Michael Jackson Jackson Jackson getting on flying the Midwest. Could you imagine Sugar Show showing up in there with a jacket like that with no tattoos and no shirt? Could you imagine he walks in Wisconsin like that? Could you imagine?
Starting point is 00:28:08 Well, it's good for him that he can fight as well as he can because if he couldn't, he'd be getting bullied all the time. I just told my, look, hey, I had a great father's son talk this morning and because, you know, my son's six now. And he got, he got his, some kids who harassed him yesterday. And he tackled one of them in the, like, in the picture line for school for the year. So what happened?
Starting point is 00:28:30 And my wife's like, you gotta talk to him. Nah, he didn't really get in trouble. So, but so I said. You know that doesn't happen here, right? In the Midwest, the teacher will go, okay, your kid doesn't. Look, my son did one Superman punch. One! My son does one Superman punch, bro.
Starting point is 00:28:51 He wants to be Roman Reins. The kid was bullying him. He does one Superman punch. And I get a call talking about it. about we understand how he grew up in a tough household. I'm like, my household's not tough. I have the soft. I'm the softest parent in the world.
Starting point is 00:29:10 He got in trouble. It wasn't like, he got in trouble. Well, I did. So, okay, I did tell. Here's how I'll give you a talk. I told my son that I said, you know, if you're going to grow up and you're going to be a man, men kind of pick on each other a little bit.
Starting point is 00:29:22 You know, if you're from Daniel Cormeier, maybe more than others. But I said, in order to defend yourself, You either have to be able to verbally assault them back or physically assault them back. Now, the problem is you fively to assault them in school. You're probably getting trouble.
Starting point is 00:29:36 So maybe you've got to wait until after school or you're at wrestling with them. What? You are saying this to your six-year-old son. You're going to create a bully. No, no, no. I said you can't bully them. But if someone is bullying you,
Starting point is 00:29:49 do you know this? You're being funny because you know this for sure. There's only two ways to stop someone from picking on you. Yeah. You got to fight fire with fires. So you either verbally assault them or physically assault them, and then they know there's a much easier target. Don't pick on that dude.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Yeah. Yeah. And then the other thing, obviously, and this is one of the ones that fighters should probably use more often because of who fighters are. But if it's someone below you, you can obviously ignore them. Right? You can just, I'm not going to respond to you.
Starting point is 00:30:20 You're not worth my time. But as, you know, as like an elementary school, middle school, that tactic doesn't really work all that much. No, they pick up. In middle school, bro, in elementary school, I had it bad. Really? These guys, oh, my God. I had it so bad.
Starting point is 00:30:34 I don't know. I was a little dirty kid. I had no new clothes. I was a little dirty boy. I was a little dirty boy. You know, like, because of my skin color, like if dirt gets on my face, it looks like it smears. I was always sweating.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Bro, I played at recess until like eighth grade. I'm in eighth grade running on the ground playing like basketball. Well, that's what you're supposed to do when you're a kid. No. Oh, kids started to sit. Kids started, dude, my middle school, they took us off the playground. They put us in front of the school with no toys. Why?
Starting point is 00:31:06 Just sit on the grass. They wanted to encourage you that when you got to high school, there were no more toys to play with at recess. But sports are not a toy. Bro, everybody just sat on the grass. Everybody just sat on the grass. What? Nobody was like, I have never heard of such a thing.
Starting point is 00:31:22 Bro, I swear to God, in my middle school, they took us off the playground. where the basketball hoops were in the monkey bars. They put us in front of the school where it was a big old grass pasture with a whole bunch of chairs. So at lunch, you sat down and you talked to get ready for high school. I swear to God.
Starting point is 00:31:40 So high school, there's no recess. But in middle school, like dudes are still, I mean, dudes are still in the sports in high school. But, you know, you go play football at recess or, you know, baseball at recess, whatever. We couldn't do nothing. We didn't do nothing. We literally just sat there and talked.
Starting point is 00:31:54 It was crazy. But yes. fighters are sensitive. That is one thing that is absolutely true. I don't know. What do you think about my parental advice, Daniel?
Starting point is 00:32:04 How do you rate it? Okay, Ben. So, so here's the thing. My wife doesn't watch his show. So I had to work on his cross. I said you got him with the knuckles. You know,
Starting point is 00:32:17 because when they throw punches, sometimes he was a son. Does your wife watch this? I don't know. I said, listen. I said, don't do it in school. Oh, my God. Sometimes just got sticking ones because I remember, I said, I got picked,
Starting point is 00:32:30 and I think everyone got picked on it, but I got picked on it. I remember one time I just threw the headlocked this kid, I squeezed so freaking hard, and people stopped picking on me because they didn't want get headlocked, you know? That is how, that is how I stopped getting bullied. I beat up a really tough guy. That's it. It was over.
Starting point is 00:32:47 I got double leg on. What was I got double leg on? He's like, whoa, you know what they said to me? No wrestling, no wrestling. They're like, no wrestling. I was like, to hell with that. that we're wrestling. You need to learn the wrestle if you don't want to get your ass
Starting point is 00:33:00 take it down and beat up. I came a honey badger. I was scratching him. I was punching him. I don't encourage, I don't encourage my kids to fight. No, we need to fight more.
Starting point is 00:33:13 We need to bring fighting back. No bullying. I love your parenting advice. I don't know that in California, I would encourage my son to wait until after school to fight with the kids. It just doesn't work like that here. I've been inviting you to leave the state of California.
Starting point is 00:33:33 I know you have. You guys are. It's beautiful, man. The weather's beautiful to play. It's just beautiful. I love California, man. I know. Hey, maybe you don't get to beat people up on the street as much as you do in Wisconsin,
Starting point is 00:33:45 or Oklahoma, those other places. I'll trade it. I'll trade. It'll be a good trade off for me. I'll reserve myself from beating kids at wrestling tournaments. I'll reserve myself from my job. for my children beating people up at school
Starting point is 00:33:57 to just live in California. I'm sorry, Ben. That's just me. It's my choice. I get to do that. All right, Ben, let's go before you go. Before you go. Listen, see, we came on here to talk about MMA
Starting point is 00:34:09 and now we're, so we're giving parenting advice. It's been awesome. This has been one of my favorite shows so far because now people know who you are. That now, those comments with whether or not Ben was right or if I was right because he was bullying me in that group of people, you know who is wrong. It's this guy.
Starting point is 00:34:28 I don't bully people. I don't bully people. You bullied me in that group message. And we're supposed to be friends. Why? Like a long, now this has been, we'll say,
Starting point is 00:34:38 we'll say 16 years, 2008 probably. I didn't let you bully me. You, you go around bullying everyone else and everyone else was kind of scared to give it back to you. That's a bad word to you.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Yeah, and I said, listen, you got to verbally assault them back. And I would get, give it to you back. You constantly had to train the center. You constantly picked on me.
Starting point is 00:34:58 You had no respect to the fact. No, I was the only way to stand up to you. You had no respect for the fact that I was the senior member of the team. You disrespected me from day one you disrespected me. I was the only one who wouldn't just roll over for you. Yeah, it was. You know the other one you didn't, hey, we actually have to, we should do a shout out on the show that when you do this.
Starting point is 00:35:19 Because the only other one you didn't mess with, and I think it was likely because you were scared of them was Steve Mocker. His son just won a 17-year world titles. Can you believe that his son won the world? Oh my God. What I wouldn't do for my son to win the world. Superstar Mexican fighters as Canelo's fighting this weekend also. But you have done it now two years in a row.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Last year, I gotta be honest with you, it was one of my favorite nights in the year. Because the music was fucking great. I heard your comments in the transmission. It was awesome. Like the whole time the music was great. The energy was great. What does it mean to you? you to headline this car.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Well, it means a lot. Last year was like kind of the test. They wanted to see how this work, you know, and also the support of the people. You know, Mexican people, it's amazing. Passionate. They're so passionate. They love, you know, their athletes.
Starting point is 00:36:13 They're like, you know, they're so, so nice. They pray for us. You know, we do a lot of things that send a lot of big, nice energy. And also the fighters, you can notice that, you know, even Dana said, like, the Mexican heart, they are always going forward. Yeah. You know what?
Starting point is 00:36:26 They are always chasing, chasing, trying to kill their opponent. We're not pointing scarring. No, we're doing, they're all the people. And this is, I think, it's important, you know, for combat sports because, I mean, it's huge. Who does not like to watch a big war? It's awesome. That's great.
Starting point is 00:36:44 The crowd was crazy, but the music was just so good. It felt like I had a couple of quinceaneras in my life. And I had a quinceanera. I have a gym, right? in Gilroy, California, which is heavy Hispanic community, and best Mexican food. Outside of I had a place one time in Mexico that was really
Starting point is 00:37:04 good. But I take up my wrestling mats, build a dance floor, and had a little girl's keychizanera. Best time ever. She's one of the wrestlers on my team. Had her quitseniera at my... You had a quinceanierre? No, I didn't. I didn't have, but...
Starting point is 00:37:19 Why? My parents didn't have money at that moment. I mean, it was like You have to spend like By, dude It's like a wedding Kind of yeah Like a big dress
Starting point is 00:37:31 Big party I mean we were not able to Let's do you one now You got money now Let's do you one Why? Double Kizegu Right now
Starting point is 00:37:39 Like 30 No no It's over But it was like It was like the funnest night It was so awesome I've been there before Kazakhstan
Starting point is 00:37:50 I wrestled there It's great country But I got first place Kill everybody When was it? 2005. He said that he was He beat everybody

Starting point is 00:38:21 I've been there too First place Yeah, so Oh, he's a tournour, I've got to win. What kind of tournament would that? Wrestling? So tell him if you ever tried that shit
Starting point is 00:38:35 with me, he's dead. Take down. Don't ever try this because then you're dead. You'll give this guy. You underestimate his wrestling. No, but I wrestled Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in first place. Tell him.
Starting point is 00:38:54 You understand. Got understand. Shafkad, you have to understand this. He was just too young as it. Shafkad, you have to understand. It's okay. If my wish, if I was, if I'd be able, if you'd be a chance, he'd be.
Starting point is 00:39:11 If we were the same weight, you couldn't study chance. Oh, Shavkat, 10, 0. 10, 0,000, maybe one minute. Two minutes, 10, 0. Same weight. 93 kilos 93 kilos because what is he weigh normal 90 kilos? 85 kilos 85 kilos me 85 kilo you 10 zero no bro yeah yeah
