with Daniel Cormier. Hey, it's been a minute. I've been training. I'm fit. I'm ready. Dean Thomas has been training. Dean Thomas is fit and ready. And him and I are going to fight.

And we got three rounds today. We're going to go hard. And Dean Thomas got some answering to do. So let's get to the fight. Round one. My man Dean Thomas. The other day was on a podcast. And he said this.

We got to understand that MMA is a star-driven sport. We have a star problem in the UFC, much less the GFL than they were stars 20, 10 years ago. Like, how do they expect 50-50 split revenue and you don't even know what the revenue is going to be? It's like the BFL. It's like they gave them all this money and then now they can't afford apparently to pay the rest of their fighting. They didn't get those stars. They got Dakota DeCeva, who's a star. Great.

She's a shit. I'm like, yo, if you guys like MMA do this for MMA, trade her to you. UFC. You know, she belongs in the UFC. Listen, get rid of Ankylaev in the UFC. Trader for Ankolae, we don't need Angolae. You know what I'm saying? He's not getting the Tyson.

We don't need this guy. Angoliath will fit right in at the PFL. Another guy that no one knows about. It's really good. Dean, you're talking about the light heavyweight champion, Magumad on Kaliah. And you're talking about Dakota who fights in PFL. Dean, it would take a blind.

I went back after all this thing blew up. I'm surprised that they conveniently brought it out now when he's defending. He's a champion. He's about to fight for a world title. So of course, this is the perfect time for them to bring it out now. But I went back and not only am I doubling down, I'm tripling down and I'm still saying that it would be a better free.

Dean, get out of here. Dean, get out of here. Dean. I am tripled down on this. Dakota did. She is 15 and 0 with an 80% knockout rate. If you don't think that the UFC could make her a star, a big, one of the biggest stars in all of MMA,

a blonde-headed girl next door, a pretty girl that has an 80% knockout rate, she would be the biggest star in the UFC. They would do with her the way they did Rhonda, the way they tried to go Holly home, the way they tried to do Pige Grandin. Dean, you're more crazy. You're going crazy.

Dude. You said Rhonda Rousey. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. The way they tried the market, Sean O'Malley, because Sean O'Malley was a kid who no one thought would be anything, and he's out there knocking people out.

The public loves that. They love when you can take an unassuming looking person, a person like Dakota, who looks like the girl next door. She's a pretty girl with an 80% knockout rate. She would be a massive star. in the UFC. Until she gets to the UFC and the knockout stop, Dean.

Until she gets to the UFC in the level of competition. What makes you think the knockouts would stop? She fought Taya Santos who arguably beat Valentina Shevchenko. She knocked her out. You know MMA math does not work, Dean. You know that. I don't know that that work. Dean, you know that does not work.

The fact that you come up here with this BS, Dean, and the fact that you're tripling down, Dean, I'm tripling down on it. competition level raises and then the knockout stopped and then you got another person. First off, don't ever say Ronda Rousey again because you couldn't recreate Ronda Rousey. You can't recreate Connor McGregor. You can't do what you did the first time again, Dean, you know that.

I know. So I'm making the analogy that she's a pretty girl that has a finishing ability. She has a finishing ability. Yes. I'm making that analogy that they could create a star based on that. But Dean, you know how they always say you catch lightning the bottle that happens once there's only going to be ever won ronda rousey any dude if valentina she've chenka has not rose to that level of stardom no one will because she's won as much as

anybody in the world even Amanda bro when she was winning all those fights never rose to that level of stardom but i'm telling you that i think Dakota jakeva de chcheva could have i think she could have i'm not sure it'll happen now because d UFC probably will never get her but i'm still tripling down on it and i'm saying back on out on Kalev, I'm taking him every day all day. Give me a world champion male fighter. I don't care where he's from over someone that is fighting in a different organization that we don't know that it translates.

But I think this young lady is phenomenal. I just think that Dean Thomas has completely lost his mind. And this is why we may get canceled. I'm experienced. Round two. Charles Olivaire Dean was supposed to fight Rafael Fizier. in Brazil. I was very, very hard on the decision to do that after Charles got knocked out. Fazeve falls off of the fight card. Charles O'Levara now needs an opponent.

Mattes Gamrod said he's ready to fight Charles O'Levara. Diego Lopez has said he would go up and he would fight Charles O'Levara. But Charles said he doesn't want Gamrod. He doesn't want a wrestler. He's been preparing for striker but dean charles also said earlier don't buy into the idea that these guys are all itching for a fight because they've been offered it and they won't take it if you're charles olivera dean are you in a position not where you just have to take any fight and if matthia's gamrott is the guy but there's gamut is the guy even though charles goes i don't really want to fight a wrestler you got he got a double he got to back down on that he's got to back those statements i mean uh

backtrack those statements because after country coming out and criticizing the entire division for not stepping up. After he said that, he's got to accept whoever they put in front of him. You can't make those statements and then be like, no, I don't want to fight this guy. This is a guy who said he would fight you. And then he and then he said yes. And now you can't say no to him. That's bad, Dean.

That's bad. And I love Charles, but that's bad, Dean. That's bad. You can't do that. Charles, you can't do that. Charles, you can't do it. I think that you got to hope that Diego Lopez somehow gets the call. Because obviously Diego Lopez would not be trying to take him down.

Gamrod, that's all he would be trying to do. Charles just said, Dean, it's bad. I'm not disagreeing, but Charles just said, I'd have to change my entire game plan. I've been preparing for a striker and for Zeev to go and fight a guy like Gamrod who's wrestling as much. I'd have to change everything and I don't really want to do that.

Well, the problem of he was like, it's not a good look. He was telling all these guys, it's not a good look. Well, Charles, this is not a good look. Like, you can't criticize these guys for not accepting fights and then you not accept the fight.

Like, if you're going to preach it, you got to practice it. So he got to step up and take this fight. I think he has to take the fight if that's the fight that's offered. I believe there are some better options, though. I think maybe you look at a Moikano.

You look at a Diego Lopez. Because Diego Lopez has nothing to lose. Here's the problem with the Diego Lopez fight. He just had that big win at Nucci, UFC. So that dude's riding hot. He was riding hot. I would prefer Oliver to get a fight that is more suited for him. A fight with someone who isn't as dangerous to catch him.

because he got knocked out so bad last time. Look, I like the Moikano fight. I like the idea of it because you got two Brazilians fighting in Rio de Janeiro, and Charles is the guy that the Brazilian people love. So you give him an opportunity to have a great moment. But what you do know about Gamrod is, Gammar doesn't have the massive power. So you know you run the risk or less of a risk of getting knocked out.

And you're Charles Oliva. If he takes you down, more danger than he ever could have imagined. Take the fight, Charles. Take the fight. It's a perfect fight for you. Now, here's what I think that's going to have to happen. If he doesn't accept this fight, he might have to fight somebody

at a catch weight. Now, I know the UFC doesn't like to do catch weights, but it might have to happen because I'm not sure that there's many guys, and that's probably the reason why most of these guys won't accept the fight is because they don't want to have to cut all the way down to 155. Moircano probably can't make

55 on such short notice. So he's going to have to fight him at a catchweight. If that's the case, you got to take that fight then, but that's what he was complaining about before was the fact that he would, these guys didn't weren't accept to fight because of probably the catch weight. So at some level, Charles Oliver is going to have to concede to one of the ideas. Yeah, he'll have to concede to something. But at the end of the day, I still believe that regardless of what fight it is, it's less

dangerous than the physia fight, right? Because the physio fight in this moment, It's very dangerous for him. But I got to be honest, man, we got, I'm so done doubting Charles O'Levara. I've seen him time and time again just beat people in situations that he wasn't supposed to win. I've seen Charles O'Levara elevate himself to become a world champion when no one thought that was possible. I've seen Charles O'Levara overcome and become a real star in mixed martial arts. So I believe that regardless of who it is, it's a must-see event because of who do Bronx is.

But Charles, take the fight. Round three, Dino, A man. First off, after watching Bud fight Canello, which was a good fight, I realized more and more that MMA is just a much funner sport. I know we didn't have the name recognition on Noce UFC, but I just had a much better time. watching the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the boxing fights, and that was one of the best fights that we could have had in terms of two stars in their primes, relatively, in on the biggest moments. And it wasn't a boring fight, but m.m.a was just much more fun. I agree. So at times, Dean, boxing gets ridiculous. Jervante Davis is fighting Jake Paul. Yesterday. Yesterday, they had their first press conference. Yesterday, One of the most recognizable things is Jake Paul is huge compared to Jervante Davis.

And two, Jervante Davis don't even know what weight they fight in D.C. I watch this. And we have our priorities way misplaced when we're talking about boxing. Like everybody's complaining about this Ali acting like how is something like this allowed to happen? How is Jake Paul allowed to fight Javante Davis? It's completely unfair. It is completely just, it's, I don't, I can't say the word that I want to say because I don't want to get canceled. But this fight should not be happening. And the press conference was embarrassing.

Javante Davis should not have a mic in front of him. It was absolutely embarrassing watching this thing. Dee, why? Just the fact that like every time when, when Jake Paul would say something to Javante Davis, he didn't know how to answer it. He was comparing himself to like P. Diddy at moments. And I was like, oh, my God, get the, get a mic away from this guy. This fight shouldn't be happening. And then he didn't even know what weight they were fighting.

I thought it was 190. That was the craziest thing. That was the thing that stood out to me the most. Was that when they go, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, he goes, wait. Dean that's bad because you know what that tells me that tells me that even he recognizes that he's too big for him yeah he recognizes that he's too big for I'm wondering how this even came about it it can't be that Javante Davis needs money that can't be the reason why he's been a war champion so recently how could he be broke

that's what I'm saying like is it is he doing this for money and then why and how's even Jake Paul doing this when no one respects it Like I can't think of anybody that respects this. But Jake Paul has been able to carve out and make his own lane in boxing. And I've never seen anything like it, bro. He literally, I mean, we don't know what weight class he fights in any situation. We just don't know. He kind of makes his own rules.

He makes his own rules. And it seems like people are playing by those rules. I remember a couple weeks ago, the WBC and the, uh, So Suleiman, Jose Suleiman was very upset that he wasn't able to put the belt on the winner at Canello versus Crawford. That's the thing that's happened since the beginning of the time, those guys are very powerful in boxing. But with Zufa boxing, it was almost like that power was getting stripped away. They were very disappointed. But how can you take those sanctioning organizations seriously when they are sanctioning this?

That's my point. That's my point. That's why I think that this whole thing that we have this boxing. and this MMA argument and Zufa getting into boxing, our argument is misplaced because things like this should not be happening. And the fact that boxing is allowing this to happen is an embarrassment to the sport. Yeah, I don't understand why. I talked about this before. Like, I didn't know why they were fighting because, I mean,

Javit's last fight was at 136 pounds. Jake Paul, seriously, his last fight was at 136 pounds. And we know, in D.C., we know, boxers don't cut weight like MMA. Like MMA fighters. No. When I hear the boxing broadcast, oh, he put off seven pounds yesterday.

I'm like, bro, seven pounds, man. They said that about Canelo. They was like Canelo put on like 10 pounds. I was like 10 pounds. I know,

dude, they put on 10 pounds the first hour after the way in. Bro, Pereira is 238 pounds. And he's two weeks from the fight. I mean, come on. Guys, let's not make this happen.
