This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman
help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds.
I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, this is Robert from the Stuff to Blow Your Mind podcast. Joe and I are both lifelong Star Wars fan,
so we're celebrating May the 4th with a brand new week of fun, thought-provoking Star Wars-related episodes.
Join us as we tackle science and culture topics from a galaxy far, far away,
such as the biology of tauntons and wampas on the ice planet hot,
or the practicality and corporate business sense of the Sith ruling.
of two. Listen to Stuff to Bole Your Mind on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
you get your podcasts.
All right, guys. So these are the type of nights I love. Great fights, great moments.
Salt Lake City has honestly been one of the best cities that I've ever been to calling fights.
Two years in a row, two years in a row, I have seen and experienced some of the greatest
I've ever seen in fighting. I'm talking.
Knockouts that you don't see very often from Leon Edwards last year to Justin Gage
this year. But it's not only that, right? It's about the intensity, the knowledge,
the excitement of the crowd. I'm talking about a fan base that shows up from fight number one.
Guys, there were 10,000 people in here at the very start of the night.
Guys, Salt Lake City shows out.
And Salt Lake showed out for one of the better fight cards you'll ever get.
I'm talking about a fight card of 11 fights that had two, two decisions, some big performances, but none bigger than Justin Gaitch.
You know, Justin Gatier for a long time, has been a guy that is known as a fun fighter.
He's always been fun.
But at times, he could be a bit reckless.
Well, he's not as reckless anymore.
And I don't quite understand how Justin Gachie, even today, is still winning bonuses.
And tonight he might get another bonus.
But being much more calm in his approach to fighting.
He starts fighting Dustin Porre.
First round, he's fighting beautifully.
He gets hurt in the first round.
He doesn't go crazy.
He takes his time.
He resets.
I haven't looked at the scorecards yet, but he might have won the first round.
And then ultimately, he throws a head kick in round number two.
Stephens Porey.
Knocks him down back.
Goes with one follow-up shot.
Doesn't even have to land it.
Justin Gage is now the BMF champion.
But I think what's most impressive is that when he was speaking to Joe Rogan afterwards,
he said, I felt nothing.
I felt nothing from the start.
I felt nothing in there, no butterflies.
And he was just unbelievably gracious in being able to live this life and perform in front of the people.
He finished this post-fight interview with, I hope I inspired someone.
Justin, you never have to wonder if you inspire.
You inspire everybody every time you step inside the octagon because you are a guy that cannot not be like.
People don't dislike you.
And they can't because they respect you in the way that you approach.
everything and Justin Gachy for as good of a fighter as he is just look at as a
man and a friend it was a hard one for me though because Dustin Poyer is near
and dear to my heart you know a kid that grew up in Lafayette Louisiana and
as I've said time and time again we that grow up in small city sometimes we
fall victim to what we believe we can achieve Dustin Porier never felt for that
thought he never felt for the idea that he was from Lafayette so in Lafayette
we don't know what we can become he thought of the world that's something he
could conquer and he did
absolutely that. He beat Connemadroger twice. He fought for the UFC lightweight championship.
He was the UFC interim champion, and he is an absolute star. All week, he was killed with
applause and cheer, and people love him. And they will love him even after this. I'll be very
interested to see what Dustin Porrier's approach is now, because I don't think that Dustin Porrier is a guy
that's going to stick around just for the sake of fighting. I understand he likes to. He likes to
money but he's already made a ton of it. I think Dustin Poirier wants to be a champion. So I don't know
what the future looks like for him. I hope he doesn't walk away. I hope that he keeps fighting
because I believe there are many more Dustin Poirier fights for people to see. And whoever watches
and knows Dustin, he'll be back from this. We have seen this man through his ups and downs. That's one
of the things about seeing a guy from the very start. We've seen him at the highest of highs
we seem at the lowest of lows.
There's much more for Dustin Porreux to accomplish.
But tonight belonged to Justin Gajee,
the new BMF champion,
and the guy who now is the number one contender in waiting
after Mahathev versus Oliver II in Abu Dhabi.
This was probably the least amount of damage
that I thought anyone would take in this fight
because it did not last very long.
But that's off to the champ.
What an amazing night.
In the co-main event,
Alex Baheda went up to 205 for the first time.
And the fight started bad for him.
He got taken down very early against John Bojovich,
but he was able to withstand it.
And I think what was most impressive about Alex Bahadah was the fact that
he was able to defend takedowns and defend his back,
even when he was dry.
He was very, very dry early, got taken down early.
It was able to withstand that.
And Jan Behovic, to his credit has won.
Let me take a look at this.
Guys, it's not like Behovich has no submission skills.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all,

A win is a win.
A win is a win.
I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me, Clivert Taylor the 4th.
You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined.
And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes,
creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment,
and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music.
The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast, it's a space for honest conversations,
stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger.
So, if you've ever supported me, or you're just chasing down a dream,
this is right where you need to be.

Ovich, to his credit, has won nine wins by submission,
and the vast majority of those wins are by rear naked choked.
Alex Baheda had him on his back for like four and a half minutes of the very first round.
able to survive that, get back to work, and as he has shown, time and time again, if you are
forced to kickbox with Alex Baheda, you are at a severe disadvantage because he is one of the
most elite kickboxers in the history of kickboxing. I'm not talking about just right now. He's one of
the best in the history of kickboxing. He does it time and time again, and he is as impressive as anyone
that we've seen come. And he's made as big an impact as we've seen for a long time. The way he was
received tonight guys was the welcoming of a champion or someone that's been to the top of the
sport. Elects Bahia deserved the applause and he deserves his flowers for beating Jan Bojovich and the
Jan Bojovic that was prepared to earn another championship opportunity. Hats off to the former
champion, Poetan, as he moves into what will be a championship fight at Light Heavywood. And with the right
matchup, you could be talking about a guy who in like three years will have held the U.S.
middleweight title and the UFC light heavyweight title.
Guys, there's still so much more, but before we get to the rest of the card, you boys got to pay some bills.
Today's video is brought to you by the GameTime app.

Derek Lewis, last fight of his contract, dude bet on himself.
And he went out there and he had the best performance that he's had in a really long time.
Double knee to start the fight and it ends Ujero de Lima in like a minute.
It was classic black beasts.
He did a great job recognizing what he needed to do.
He had the best both of the interview even.
He took his shorts off.
He twerked.
He danced.
He did it all.
Derek Lewis is fun.
He's one of the most fun guys in the UFC for a long time and showed tonight that he still
belongs.
He's a top 10 rank heavyweight.
And with the right matchup, Derek Lewis can still present and provide us with a ton of entertainment.
Tony Ferguson showed a lot of heart against Bobby Green, but ultimately got
choked out with an arm triangle that put him to sleep.
Tony Ferguson has been fun for a long time.
He still has that pride's desire.
I just don't know if the body's holding up anymore.
Kevin Holland had his best performance of all time.
He beat Michael Kiesa, definitive takedowns,
and it submitted Kiesa in the first round.
Kevin Holland showed that since he got that full-time new wrestling coach,
he could be a problem for guys at 170 pounds.
I do believe, though, that him saying he wants to go back
up is not ideal because I think at times he's a bit of a tweener. So at 185 who's just getting
drug to the mat by those big wrestlers. They can't do that to him at 170. He's too strong.
Holland, that's your right weight class. I know it's not fun, but I'm telling you, it will pay
dividends because you will be more successful at 170 pounds. Congratulations, my guy.
Gabriel Bonfee is the real deal. The amount of prospects at 170 is very interesting. This is a
weight class that we're going to be watching for a long time and these guys will continue to rise up
the ranks but bomb feed tonight show once again you put yourself in submission position he is going to
strangle you and he is going to choke you out you cannot make a mistake against this young kid
this weight class is tremendous a roman coppelaw head kick done jake matthews sub
euros meditch spinning back fist finish miranda maverick submission it was a phenomenal fight
night from Utah. I'm telling you right now, guys, as I leave you, I'm going to leave you with a
picture of the kick in the positioning of Justin Gaichi right next to the pick in the positioning
of Leon Edwards. It is almost scary for that to happen two times and two years in the same
building. They got goals or something up here. But I tell you, man, these people in Utah,
they love their fighting and it has become quickly become one of the best fight cities in this
in the country they're not spoiled they show up from fight number one and it makes for a very fun night
guys once again so good to be able to do this with you and be able to have the best job in the
world best job in the world so until next time like subscribe tell a friend to tell one of their
friends that DC's got a YouTube channel and I'm doing stuff like this
and I'm giving you real inside, exclusive access to the UFC.
Hey, look at this video here.
It's Colin Cowherd, the guy that owns the volume.
He said he got, he came to the UFC for the first time recently.
He's been the three pay-per-views in the row.
Enjoy the boss, enjoying the UFC.
Later, guys, peace.
