This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.
Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel
and friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal, but encouraged. It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast's
superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year.
Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.

Do we go to a celebrity golf event and you, one, drop your bag off the back of your golf cart
and then get into a fight with two tall Jones?
I didn't get into a fight with nobody.
So what happened?
They just disrespected the NFL program.
They had assigned teams.
I'm glad we traded
because the guy that I got
was better
but yeah
the guy didn't understand English
so you let him
he bullies you
I mean I wasn't gonna fuck up
an old man for it
well you started down that path
no because you started
being disresructed
for it like don't disrespect me
you know
JG
you didn't have my bag
so
well I just was trying to get your bag
off the ground
I'm glad you had to play with him
did I play with the guy
you were fighting with
No, no, no, no, no, no, we didn't.
Dude, I was, my team was bad.
Yeah, we kicked your ass.
You gave me a lot of money.
Per usual.
Per usual.
Justin Gaichi.
Yep.
Checking in, my man, I appreciate you as always.
How you feeling?
I feel good.
I feel excited.
Favorite part of the whole training process is getting in there and performing
in front of thousands of people under those lights.
Nothing like it.
I've been watching your role to UFC 300.
What is it?
You're a social creator?
now?
I got my camera guy.
You're about to be on the, behind the curtain.
I didn't sign, I didn't sign.
You don't have to.
No, no.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
I got permission from the top.
No, no.
Permission from the top.
Cut.
But, hey, it's going on the only fans, though, so don't worry.
Cut.
I didn't sign no way for saying you could use my image.
I didn't ask.
So you just going to take my image?
Yeah.
That's so crazy.
You're trying to keep you relevant.
How can you do that?
You got to ask.
I asked.
I asked you to come home on.
I asked.
So ask me now.
No, you did not.
You did not ask me now.
You did not ask me.
It was on my schedule.
Just ask me now.
If you ask me now, I...
Can you be in our...
Nope.
Say, D.C., can I put you on my video?
D.C., can I put you in our road to...
Road to the...
What the fuck?
No, no.
Can I put you in the behind the curtain episode two?
On Only fans.
So here's the thing.
Yes or no.
Wait, stop.
You're asking me the question,
but you're looking the way like, you don't mean it.
You have to look me in the eyes.
Can you be on my behind the curtain?
episode two on OnlyFans.
Am I getting paid?
No.
I'm not getting paid for this.
Oh, I got something for you. I got a gift.
Nice.
Cassandra, give me his gift. Let me have his gift.
After the fight.
Let's go.
After the fight, Justin, once you're back, you're back.
I got you a gift.
You see, I know my way to your heart.
It's been nine weeks.
I know my way to your heart.
Nine weeks.
See, that's the thing, right?
when you do it an interview with a guy, you give him a gift.
Thank you. I appreciate that.
So where's my gift?
I'm, you want me on your show, right?
I am your gift.
Ooh, you're arrogant now.
We are the, me and Max, are the main event.
Dude, let me ask you that.
Like, how does that feel knowing that so many people are so excited about it?
Every poll, every metric says that it's the fight that most are excited about.
Yeah, I am the most exciting person, the most consistent fighter that's ever set up.
But you need a dance part.
Unfortunately more than you, and it's not a slight.
It's just a test.
What do you mean?
What do you mean more than me?
What's more than me?
More exciting.
More violent.
Well, yes, you are more violent.
You are definitely more violent to me.
Crazy.
Crazier, stupider.
I get rid of my gum now.
It's over.
You know, you and Max Holloway, this fight comes together.
You initially said,
I don't really want to punch Max Holloway in the face.
What changed?
Nothing changed. It's me or him.
I didn't want to fight or punch Cowboys-Soroni when I fought him.
I've known him for a lot longer than I knew Max Holloway.
Name of the game.
I look at this as a game, you know, a competition, and I'm a competitive motherfucker.
So it's me or him.
When I do damage and if he was able to press the button, change positions with me.
He would do that.
He's going to try to hurt me.
So I've got to try to hurt him.
your expectation for this fight? Because you said that
it's a different fight because
Max Holloway doesn't possess that one punch.
I didn't say that. I never said that.
I would never say that because
anybody that's good enough to be in that
Octagon possesses one punch power.
He's a volume guy.
He's a volume guy. Is what you said.
That's true. But if he catches me
by surprise, if I don't see the shot, you go to sleep.
That's how it works in that game.
So then what's the difference? What's the difference
in the approach? What have you? Because
I saw in the fight with Porrier,
last time you look much different than you did in the fight with Fizzi.
It seemed like you and Trevor went to the lab and figured out a different way of approaching.
This time, it felt like you played the Matador, and ultimately it led to you knocking him out.
I think I played the Madador in the Physia fight as well, the Chandler fight.
You know, I got caught up in the emotions with Olivera, so I wasn't capable of doing that,
but that is how I fight now.
I control range.
I control their feet and create angles and cause car crashes, but select car crashes.
It's controlled chaos.
That's who I am now
I didn't think
Back in the day I got knocked out by Porre A. A. Averas
And I knew I had to
I never cared about myself. I didn't care
About I didn't prioritize my health
And now I'm doing that
Because I know if I take that shot
And I go down and the fight's over
And if I don't then I'm still able to create damage
But in a fight with Max Holloway
Right the guy that's going to throw a thousand punches
Right wouldn't it seem to be
Beneficial to
set a
crazier pace?
No. No, I think
if I'm off, if I'm not in front of him
and I'm controlling his feet, he's not set
to throw punches, he can't throw that amount of punches.
So I'm going to control range, you know,
most importantly, cause damage,
you know, hopefully he starts his legs, move up to his head.
And, you know, I've got Cosmo Alexander
working with me now, so my knees and elbows are a lot crisper.
You saw a right head kick,
and I'm hoping to land a left one.
I was like, wait, do you kick
into the head, no?
I kicked Fisiev in the head.
He didn't do his whole thing.
He comes at a different timing
when their feet are moving,
and that's the most important part of fighting
is controlling their feet.
Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal
but encouraged.
It's the enhanced games.
Some call it grotesque.
Others say it's unleashing human potential.
Either way, the podcast's Superhuman
documented it all,
embedded in the games and with the athletes
for a full year.
Within probably 10 days,
put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble
stopping the muscle growth.
Listen to Superhuman on the
IHard radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
A win is a win.
A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying.
Yep, that's me.
Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen
the skits, the reactions, my journey
from basketball to college football, or
my career in sports media.
Well, somewhere along the way, this platform
became bigger than I ever imagined.
And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to
my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes,
creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated.
One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment,
and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music.
The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast.
It's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told,
and for people who are chasing something bigger.
So, if you've ever supported me, or you're just chasing down.
a dream, this is right where you need to be. Listen to the Clifford show on the IHeart radio app,
Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford
and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tap Little Kim's
boobs at the VMAs? Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people. I know what
you're thinking. What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim? Well, you can find out on the
Look Back at a podcast. I'm Sam J. And I'm Alex English.
Each episode, we pick it here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it.
Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill, waxing all about crack in the 80s.
To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because of crack.
I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know.
I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack.
So I'm starting to see that there's a through line.
We also have AIDS on the table right now.
They're finishing that sentence.
Yes.
I don't think there's a more important year for black people.
Really?
Yeah.
For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history.
Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
The BMF Championship for a while felt like a gimmick title because it was fought for between guys that were great fighters.
No one regard, but not championship level fighters.
But now two BMF title fights back-to-back, championship level fighters.
Does it lend itself to the title being more prestigious, being that champions are now fighting for his belt?
Yeah, I think so.
I think obviously there's going to be haters and then there's going to be people that support it.
You know, I think the fans really love it.
And I think that's my favorite part of this whole thing is it's become such a testament to who we are and who's fighting for it.
You know, Max Holloway and myself, two guys that are constantly and consistently violent and, you know,
who are both hopefully sure in Hall of Famers along yourself.
along with yourself.
And yeah, that's what we do.
You know, being on this car is special.
It's going to be special.
These are the good old days.
These are going to be the stories that I always keep and hold dear.
Good for my coaches, good for my family, go for the sport.
And it means that the UFC really recognizes our value, you know, and that's good, too.
The original BMF champion said that he wants to break your orbital bone.
Yeah.
Why? What happened?
Why does he want to beat you up?
And what do you make it at?
I think we're all going to miss the spotlight.
You know, he's not in the spotlight no more.
And, you know, I'm sure he's yearning for it.
But break my orbital.
Yeah, I don't know.
He said that about the only orbital he got broken is his against Camaro.
And I love to see it.
But the problem is like he might get you on the streets.
The most.
So what?
That's my favorite part.
He fucking.
Cheap shot had Colby coming to.
He didn't break his orbital.
But why, why you, though?
What made him come at you?
Because you're fighting for the being of title?
I think because he bet so much money
and I fucking took it from him against Porre.
I would be upset about that too.
Yeah.
Hopefully he puts a lot of money on this one and not on me.
But all those things like,
it just comes to the territory.
Do you even, when someone says something like that to Justin Gaetia,
it's as locked in as you are on fighting in the fight
that's in front of you,
Do you haven't take note of that?
No.
No, he is so irrelevant right now.
That's why he's saying it, you know, so he can become relevant.
But he's got a fight against Diaz.
It's not irrelevant.
He has a fight against Diaz?
Yeah, they're boxing.
See, I didn't even know.
That's how irrelevant he is.
Justin.
It's true.
Justin.
The only reason you know is because you're in the position that you're in now,
but you're not even going to watch it.
Don't lie.
Well, I'm going to watch it.
I'm not going to watch it
I'm sure it's fucking not watching that
no way in a boxing match or a boxing match
neither one of them could fucking box
they should just wrestle or something
like
boxing
boxing yeah come on
you're so crazy
I love hey
nothing was more special than seeing all that
mist come off his face when fucking
Kamara put a hole through it
one of my favorite nights
still remember I have very very very
very fond memories of that night.
You're so crazy, Justin.
Jacksonville, Florida.
Fucking.
You're so crazy.
So you have thought about it.
I thought about that night.
No, you have thought about him saying he was going to break your orbital.
No, I laugh at that.
I think it's funny.
He's fat as fuck.
I find that 155 pounds.
He can never make that again in the rest of his life.
He can fuck off.
Let's get back to your fight this weekend, man.
I did not mean to go off the rails like that with you.
I just really wanted to know.
No, because I know you and I wondered about it.
I was like, man, I wonder what Justin makes of this.
But you and Max Holloway this weekend, fighting in what is considered the people's main event of UFC 300,
biggest fight car in UFC history.
Does that matter?
Does that resonate to a guy like you?
Like, man, I'm on this type of fight car.
I only worry about the things that are going to matter in the Octagon, and that is not one of them.
I think, again, when it's over, when it's all said and done, this will be one of the, you know,
one of the great memories that I have being a part of this, you know, so.
much media. I love it.
You hate the media, but you don't hate this.
You actually let me film you even whatever you don't have to.
This one is not as repetitive and not repetitive at all when it comes to what I'm going
to do the rest of the day and tomorrow.
But yeah, I love it.
I love performing, you know, and I know that especially with the first fight being Garbrandt
and Figurato, the fans are going to be right away.
They're going to be on fire.
Unfortunately for the fight.
have to be I always kind of just like when I fought Chandler and Madison Square Garden you know
Billy Q and who do you fight?
Chambergo.
Yeah, that was a great fight.
It was a great fight.
Everybody, everybody, everybody, yeah, but they didn't not live up.
I took, when you, I gave the, you know, my goal is to 20,000 people at one time have
the most intent in adrenaline spike that they ever have, you know, and you can't come back
from that.
Take some time.
And that's my goal on Saturday night to get people their money's worth and people across the
We're all thousands of thousands, millions of people, adrenaline.
You know, I knock them out, people, you know, scare their...
Knocking Max Holloway out, though.
Justin.
That's the goal.
That's the goal every time.
Justin, nobody's ever put him down.
I will.
I will.
I might get put down as well, but that's the game I play, and I love it.
It's my favorite part.
That dude's got a chin like nobody else, man.
I know.
I couldn't even knock Tony Ferguson down.
But that motherfucker's crazy.
Tony?
Yeah.
I think but I don't know you kill Tony I think stop not you say that you actually
you know you kill him I didn't kill Tony I killed his his goal to fight confidence his
confidence and that's the biggest factor when he turned away and he shook his head it was like
Tony Ferguson might be done forever yeah you know I didn't I don't love that part you know I'm a huge
fan of Tony still I want him to come back and I want him to do whatever it's best for him
which would be we got to quit it sometime but you know if I have to do that to max then I'm
I'm gonna do it.
Yeah.
It's the job.
You know,
Justin Gachy fights for the BMF championship again,
or defends the BMF title again this week in the UFC 300.
Against Max Holloway,
one of the funnest fights that you will ever watch.
I am so lucky to be able to sit there
and watch you guys compete against each other.
How nervous are you going to be?
You know, man, it's not the best.
I think it's different when I walk to the cage than other,
because you know.
It's just not the best to watch.
It's not the best to watch people you care about fight.
I've learned now that...
It's the worst.
It's the worst.
I rather fight than be in that situation.
100%.
But I also do, like, I was going to fight you, but you're lucky.
Because I haven't seen you since you abused my kids on my wrestling team.
You got to fight those boys.
You fed them and you kicked them.
You fed them and you kicked them.
I was good.
If I saw you before this, I would slap the shit out of you.
Mutual combat.
Because you got a fight this weekend, I can't hit you.
Turns out they won state.
They did.
Maybe they kicked one.
You took care of them.
You took care of my boys went to Colorado.
All they ate good.
They ate good.
They ate good.
They ate good.

Somebody's writing stories and you're acting.
Because all of this can't just be.
It's not, your life is not that great
and that entertaining.
It's a WWE script.
Somebody, you got a script writer
writing the scripts for what you're doing.
Trevor is an artist and luckily his son is the one creating this.
It's beautiful.
There's definitely no script because it's always going to be as, I'm playing golf.
Playing golf training.
Yes, it's wonderfully done.
Two most favorite things to do.
Wonderfully done.
