Starting point is 00:03:51 Terms at sportsbook.draft kings.com slash football terms. Daniel! Yo, what up, guys? It's another week. We've been off for a few days, but I'm back on my block with my boys. You know, fellas, it's been a little bit. We haven't done one because I can't lock y'all down.
Starting point is 00:04:15 You're all so busy working. Terry got married a few weeks ago. Congratulations, Lace. Craig, you've been busy with Aria's soccer and volleyball and everything. Jamel. Obviously, you got Rose leading the basketball team. How you all been, Boys?
Starting point is 00:04:32 Been good, man, cooling, man. That's good, that's good. So, M. M.
Starting point is 00:04:38 The world has just still been going on and on and on. And I figure we would talk about a guy that kind of hits close to home. Dustin Porreye,
Starting point is 00:04:47 one of our boys, Lafayette, Louisiana's own. Some call him the king of Lafayette. You know, I call him the Prince. I call him the Prince.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Terry, you called him the king of Lafayette last night. Went on the phone. You called him that last night on the phone. Well, you said, Dustin Porre, you said the king of a man, the king, dude. So, Dustin Porre and Connor and Cona McGreg have been going back and forth again. Connor McGregor said on a tweet, of course it has to happen.
Starting point is 00:05:16 It's natural. I need to fight him again. Put him in his place. Dustin responded today and said, I can finally shut him up for good. Now, pull the curtain back a little bit on y'all. Before they fought the second time, I had a couple of conversations. conversations with Dustin, him fighting McGregor. I was in a Home Depot and Lafayette,
Starting point is 00:05:36 and him and I were on the phone having a conversation about the fight, the financials and everything, which he's done exceedingly well in those fights. And I was just really happy to kind of help him, kind of as he was making his decision on the fight and everything. But when he has now beaten McGregor two in a row, there should not be any hesitancy to fight him again. So my question of y'all is this
Starting point is 00:06:02 When y'all look at this from the outside perspective Is Dustin Is Dustin Porier wanting to fight Connor McGregor Because of the competition Or because of how big the check going to be Because he know now The check going to be big
Starting point is 00:06:15 And he has beaten him two times in the road Jamel, you smile at it's going to start with you first Come on You're going to ask me a question you know the answer to it I don't know the answer to it's not a lot It's not for the competition It's straight for the money dog I mean, I don't blame him.
Starting point is 00:06:31 I do not blame DP, Doug. Go get that bread if you can. But it ain't competition, man. I actually checked out of all of it, to be honest. Why, Jumel? Because every fight, like, you just want to be relevant. Connor McGregor has the most followers. Why, we got to tweet every single time, duh?
Starting point is 00:06:47 It's kind of like that chickie trying to get away from, but she keep texting you off, like, text-free numbers and shit. You know, like, you block her phone number. You block her phone number, and then she comes back with, like, a text-free app, like no man leave me alone you know what I'm saying I don't want to do it man oh my stop just stop Connor sometimes just chill bro
Starting point is 00:07:07 this guy Greg well obviously it's for the check but I think a different perspective or a different angle with that is who else is he gonna fight right now man like Dustin yeah like I mean yeah obviously there's you know all the
Starting point is 00:07:26 the guys that are one two and three spots ahead of them before they've all fought except for Islam every single one of them except for Islam and then you can't put him in there with Islam right now why not do why can't you put him in there with Islam because Islam he won his last fight he won his last fight yeah but isn't the next fight supposed to be Charles
Starting point is 00:07:50 yes I get that so you can't put him in there with Islam right now so what better thing for the UFC I'm not talking about Connor I'm not talking about Dustin. I'm talking about the UFC. What's the best fight that they can with the two biggest eye gaugers in the sport right now,
Starting point is 00:08:07 especially in their weight division? It's them two. But, but, but Cona McGregor, Michael Chandler moves the needle, right? Terry, we got the person that Dana White calls the modern day Arturo Gotti and Michael Chandler fighting against Connor McGregor, who still today is the biggest star
Starting point is 00:08:23 mixed martial stars. Because when you saw him at the boxing event when Francis and God who fought, he was still. as popular as relevant because when he was standing alongside all those great boxing champions, people were as interested if not were interested in Connor McGregor than the great Linux Lewis, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, and all those other great champions that were in that arena, Lace.
Starting point is 00:08:46 And then to me, but to me, bro, like, that's the fight, right? When you said a modern day Arturo Gotti, it's Gotti versus Ward when you go Pori and McGregor. And like Craig said, man, like that's the only... Hold on. Don't try to skim over this. So you say, I'm talking about the modern-day Arturo Gotti. Dana called Michael Chandler that. You're saying, like, I don't think Michael Chandler is the modern-day Arturo
Starting point is 00:09:09 Gotti. When we're talking about boxing, we're talking about Dustin and we're talking about Conner. But I think the-Channel is not a goal. I think the comparison, Terry, was the guy that goes out on his shield. When they're lose, he's exciting. That is what Michael Chandler is. So while Michael Chandler has been in the UFC for a very short period of time, he has immediately become one of the biggest stars in the sport.
Starting point is 00:09:34 People love him and he doesn't lose anything when he loses fights. So that was the comparison, was that, was that he's a blood and guts warrior that is going to go out there and fight Cona McGregor, not try to wrestle him, not try to hold him down. You go just fight him. But I think that's interchangeable with those four. Like those four to me are that, right? When you got Chandler, you got Gaechie,
Starting point is 00:09:58 you got Porreier and you got McGrega. So you can interchange that Arturo Gaudi, Mickey Ward, legacy with all those four. Like that's, that's go. I love to, Terri, I'm sorry to cut you off, but I love the comparison. But for anyone that was watching boxing at the time when Arturo Gotti and Mickey Ward fought Terry,
Starting point is 00:10:19 they were great fights. But not great. Most would say they weren't great fighters. Fighters. And that's, and I'm giving. And that's exactly my point, right? Like, I'll go over. Like, I got my Lafayette flag in the back, bro.
Starting point is 00:10:32 I love to see people from Lafayette make it. But just like on his resume, like, the reason that Dustin Porre is considered great is because of his wins over Connor. And I think at the point when he fought Connor, Connor was already on the downslide, bro. You sound like Jamel right now. No, but I'm being honest. You were a pro fighter.
Starting point is 00:10:51 You were the guy that was never going to disrespect the fighters, but you sound like Jamel right now. But I'm being out. But this is my thing. It always meant that with the lightweight division, right, where those four always came that way to me. Right. Connor is the elite of those four. Like, every time they got to a title shot, man, like they didn't get it done.
Starting point is 00:11:11 And they got there, right? Like, they're good enough to get there. But they've never made it happen. So you have to put them on that. Like, the only one that wore a belt really is Chandler and Bellator, but outside of that. They've worn belts. They've worn the interim title. Yeah, but it was interim champ.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Right. Gachie was the interim champion. Gachi is now the BMF champion. These guys have won championships. Yeah, but we don't, do we really count the BMF title as a championship or is it more like a promotional title, right? It's like the Intercontinental Belt in WWE, right? Like that's what it is, man. Like, you know, like again, like I respect these fighters, bro, like 100%.
Starting point is 00:11:49 That's why I'm different than Jamel, right? But it's the same, bro. I know, bro. We're the same. We all are the same. But I got a question for you, though, T. You say he was on the downside. How was he on the downside?
Starting point is 00:12:03 From what point? Or did the matchup change? Kind of a Gregory, you mean. Yes. And, yeah, when you say that, bro, like, I think, like, favorably, when he fights, he fights Aldo, right? Like, we've seen, like, almost personally how weight drain he was and how much bigger he was than Aldo to put that belt on.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Then he fights an Eddie Alvarez, another warrior. He beat the shit out of Alvarez. He beat the shit out of Eddie Alvarez, but then we see, well, Eddie Alvarez ultimately ended up, right? At one point, he was considered the best lightweight in the world, but yeah, he really wasn't. Right? Like, so. Daniel, did he beat Eddie Alvarez in the ring? What, Craig?
Starting point is 00:12:43 Did he just beat him in the ring? Yeah. Every time he touched him, he knocked him down. Yeah, exactly. When he did this, when he did this, this. Yeah. Bro, Eddie Alvarez, every Alvarez was tattered. He was in that Madison Square Garden.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Every little jab was a hook. Why, Chris? But why? Well, it's Connor, bro. Like the fanfare that came with it. No disrespect to Jose Aldo either, bro, but the lead up. You remember that? Link, I just sent you all the other day.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Bro. Bro, that it's pure madness. Daniel, do you remember? So we were in Vegas that fight. The Aldo fight, right? I was working for Fox. I was working for Fox. Right.
Starting point is 00:13:30 And that's when y'all was playing me because I had my American, uh, my American tigop. Oh, you was looking bad, too. You know? He was good. And boy, I had an American tank top.
Starting point is 00:13:41 Jamil, it was a tag. The top was, was stars. The bottom was like the flag. I was like, oh, oh my. It was a flag,
Starting point is 00:13:49 that's what happened. That's what happened when you spent half of your life in Durant, Oklahoma, though. Oklahoma? No. Actually, you know what the problem was I was so mad bro I was so mad I went to that was that
Starting point is 00:14:01 playing in Hollywood that little mall right there yeah bought that shirt because they had 700,000 little five five Irish people just storm in Vegas it was ridiculous and they was they all act like they six six and they was drunk drinking green beer I was tired of this shit so I just I rather wear a new shirt than with that shit though I'd rather go in that now and I'd rather go in that with no shirt than what that, bro. Hey, I was so mad, dog. I was so mad, seeing all the people. Bro, they took over, though.
Starting point is 00:14:34 But again, what I'm saying, though, is on his rise, bro, this dude had literally half of his country in Las Vegas. And all the stuff that came with Connor McGregor and his rise, it was super meteoric. And I think the guys that were fighting him on that rise were losing before they even got into the ring with him, man. So when... But then Dustin had already lost to him
Starting point is 00:14:58 and Dustin went and beat him in Abu Dhabi. Oh, no. I don't feel like, I don't feel like, I don't feel like he was done at that point. Because he had just lost the Habib. He had just lost the Habib. But Dustin was a different fighter too.
Starting point is 00:15:12 Dustin was a different fighter at that time. He got over that. Dustin was better. And plus, how much can you put into the first fight? When Dustin got knocked out with the very first punch, I watched that fight in Lafayette. And I just remember.
Starting point is 00:15:26 how deflating it was. It was one punch Dustin got knocked out with. But then that second time, you can see Dustin Poyer was a different fighter, right? He was like pointing at him like, hey, that one, I got you. Gotcha. You could see him be more like who he thought Dustin was. So ultimately, who do you think is the better fighter out of Dustin? Like just career whereas outside of all the hoopla in the favorable matchups with Connor versus all.
Starting point is 00:15:51 I think the better fighter is in terms of legacy and resume? No, I mean, just like that was a double champion. I think that always will outweigh it. But in terms of career longevity, not many can stand up to Dustin Porier's resume, bro. That's why, like, T, I think, like, I don't like to disagree with you, but I think, I think your comparison,
Starting point is 00:16:09 I think you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're not critique, but your assessment of Dustin and Justin and, and are, a bit off, and Connor. I get what you're saying. I've used it on air before. but when those guys have done what they've,
Starting point is 00:16:28 Dustin Porier has so many fight bonuses, so many big wins, he's been main event in so many different situations. He's done so much that he has to be considered one of the, he's going into the Hall of Fame. He's the A side as a fighter, bro. He's the A side as a fighter. He's not the excited popularity.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Justin Gagie is going, has 14 post-fight bonuses in like 12 appearances. He's an absolute. Savage. He's worn two championships. So I think these guys are like the highest caliber. No, if you compare them to Islam and Habib, okay. But that's what I mean. Like, it's like once it goes, even like against Charles. So like even once we get to the elite of the elite, like I said, like they're great fighters. There were there being one, like one through five, right? But they're never going to get over that hump to the point where we can say that they're great
Starting point is 00:17:18 fighters. We don't do that in any other sport where you're almost good. Like you're the number four team in the NBA and the Lakers won the championship, you don't say, yeah, well, they're just as good. They're not. Like, they're good fighters, bro. Like, again, I'll watch them fight. Great fight. They're great fighters, but great fighters, but what's the next level to great? Is it what elite?
Starting point is 00:17:41 Like, that's what a championship level fighters are elite fighters to great fighters. When we say great, we're saying Muhammad Ali was great. So interned don't count, bro? Huh? Intern don't count? Interim doesn't count. Intram to me is like a number one contender. You're like fucking Hiroshima right now with Tom Aspinall.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Well, Tom Aspenol cry because he won the bill. Well, no, I'm perfectly fine with that because I'm like, that's why I said, like, you take Tom Asimol from being Tom Aspinall to Tom Aspinall the next thing up to fight John. Like you now, like, you has to fight John because you're the interim champion. So I understand where you would be emotional because that's a life. changing event because that puts him right there with John Jones. There's no denying it. I know,
Starting point is 00:18:30 but you're saying that you're just saying they're not elite because they never crossed into championship, but they have interim is the same as a champion. In that case, though, Tony, Tony Ferguson is an elite fighter. Like, he was,
Starting point is 00:18:46 Tony was a lead. That's why the whole David Goggins thing, bro, that's why the whole David Goggins thing to me is like, kind of silly because I saw an article the other day. They said Tony Ferguson is the first person to finish David Gagins hell week. I'm like, because at the end of the day, bro, David Gagans for as good as he is at training and stuff, he is, what is he a marathon runner?
Starting point is 00:19:07 I don't even know what David Gagons was before he came to David Gaggars, right? So like they're running over like a 150 miles, over a marathon, right? But he's still, but he is still a guy that runs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tony Ferguson was an elite level athlete in wrestling and a wrestler, yeah. But doesn't surprise me that he made, that he finished the hell week. Exactly. I would expect Tony Ferguson to finish the hell week, no?
Starting point is 00:19:32 He's like the top 1% of people like that can grind it out and do certain things. So yeah, why wouldn't he be able to do that? You can't judge. Why wouldn't you ever run on the treadmill and walk on a stair step? But yeah, Jamel, Tony Ferguson was elite. At one point, Tony Ferguson was elite. If we're, if we're judging. by that metric, bro, he's elite.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Like, we can't get around that, right? Like, you can't pick it around it. Cyril Gond. Cyril Gond is elite. Wait, no, because you had too many categories for me, though. You say, you say good, then you say very, then you say a champion. No, I say good, great elite. If you're a champion, I mean, just because you got a championship built around you,
Starting point is 00:20:15 does that make elite? To be a UFC champion, absolutely. any type of UFC champion of me is elite. It's too hard. I looked at a post the other day. They had a post of that came out that said every UFC champion in the 30 year history.
Starting point is 00:20:31 Bro, it's not that many. It's not that many in the thing that's been around for 30 years. It's how hard it is to get one of belts wrapped around your waist. So it makes the elite just for that one fight. So what if you win it and then you just lose the next time you never get it again? But Jamel, it's all the things you did to get to that title fight. Are you an elite fight? Or did you have a title fight?
Starting point is 00:20:49 or did you have elite that you as an elite fighter in that fight? Like, which one? No, Jamel, in that run in the buildup to that is where you become an elite fighter. Not everybody fought for a title
Starting point is 00:21:01 deserved to be in there. Bro, but you get to... They want. They want to get there. And then they lose the next fight. Are they still elite? Jamel, at that point, they were elite.
Starting point is 00:21:11 When they became champion, they were elite. So I could be elite for one fight. You never will be elite for one fight. You got to beat more than one person to become a champion. But everybody didn't have a streak to get them. He started to do that team.
Starting point is 00:21:23 He started to do that thing to me, bro. If someone carrying a regular title is not elite or can't be considered elite, then what does interim mean? Like, it's not elite. You're not elite at all. Like, you just- He literally-leet. If you got to enter him, you're-li-le-el-el-el-el-el-leet, dude.
Starting point is 00:21:38 He little-el-el-leet. But Daniel, you made this comment. You said something about some of those fighters that if they're fighting or, those cats can't when they fight and they lose they don't lose anything yes yes we can say we can say the same thing about that whole division real talk think about it there's no clarity bro listen take islam out he's the champion right yeah everybody from from charles all the way down and you can even add nadeez in that bro If Islam loses, he loses something.
Starting point is 00:22:20 He loses that aura of dominance. Yes, he's the, but that's he's different. That's what I'm saying. The other cats don't go, Daniel. He's the elite. Those other cats don't lose anything. So what you're trying to say is the reason they don't lose anything is because people expect them to lose. But if Islam loses, they don't expect it.
Starting point is 00:22:37 So he would lose more by the fight. So who's elite? When Floyd beat up Arturo Gotti. Like Floyd dominated, he looked perfect against him, right? He did. He still was Arturo Gotti. He still was lovable, Arturo Gotti. The same thing happened to Dustin, bro.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Like when he could be beat and put the Lafayette shirt on, like he's still, Dustin is still considered elite in the UFC, right? Same thing with Justin. Justin fought him. He wasn't elite. God dominated. Same thing, bro. Like Charles beats him.
Starting point is 00:23:08 Same thing. Like, Chandler, same thing. Like, it doesn't matter if they lose because people are okay with them losing. people aren't okay with what kib losing they're not okay with islam losing they're not okay with john jones losing they're not okay with george st pierre losing like you losing like they're gonna give you more flag for it they're not going to just be like oh yeah well you're still great they're gonna start taking points off bro like that's and that's the difference like craig said with the lightweight division you have those people that are that are fan favorites they're popular so people love them bro
Starting point is 00:23:39 i don't know what elit is no more i don't know what eliz is you're terrible to confuse everybody They're going to lead, bro. Terry, this line will be the lead so far. I think, I'm going to run with David Gagas. This football field is 200 yards right now. Is Islam?
Starting point is 00:23:55 Listen, Terry, I think you've, I don't know. I think you're pretty clear right now when it comes to these guys, the explanation that you were just diving in on. You literally say, they like these dudes. They like these guys, right? Like, and that's why, like, MMA, like, when we talk about boxing, right?
Starting point is 00:24:12 Boxing is like, they try to keep. keep their oath. Andre Ward trust it. Like he kept his old Floyd. Like we almost judge these people about being the top boxer by being undefeated. MMA, that's not the case. Like, MMA, you can be someone's favorite fighter. Because they fight the best guys over
Starting point is 00:24:27 and over again. In boxing, they don't do that. Yeah, true. But that's why. Because that's why MMA has passed boxing. Guys, eBay Motorsports is here for the ride. Listen, we have all had cars. And I'm going to tell you one thing. I had a car that I love, so much and I just had to have those rims.
Starting point is 00:24:46 The first one I had, I had 20 inch rims on it. Boy, let me tell you, I thought I was the cleanest dude on the block. Then I got a bigger version of the same car and I got 22 inch rims on them. The problem was, at times, that mug would try to break on you, boy. I had a car in college one time. That was the most beautiful car. Everybody praised the car, but the car barely ever worked. I needed eBay Motors because I know that I had things that I needed to be fixed on all those
Starting point is 00:25:18 vehicles for a long time I bought the body. I didn't buy the car. But I don't know if I ever owned cars that meant more to me than those. The ones with the 20-inch rooms on them, they would all be like, yo, D.C. Can I ride? I'm like, no. Part of the reason I didn't let them ride, though, because it barely worked. But with eBay Motors, you can have it fixed because eBay Motors has it fixed because eBay Motors
Starting point is 00:25:41 has over 122 million parts for that number one ride of die. So you can make sure that your ride not only looks good, it stays riding smoothly. From break kits, I needed break kits, LED lights, roof racks, bumpers, whatever that baby needs. I had that nice white with the blue on the top. eBay Motors has it. With eBay Motors guaranteed fit, it's guaranteed to fit you ride the first time, every time or you get your money back. Plus, at these prices, guys, you're going to be burning rubber and not that hard-earned cash
Starting point is 00:26:19 because you know everybody got to work. And you boy, D.C.'s working right now. I mean, we all work. So keep that ride of dial live at eBaymotors.com. Eligible items only, guys. Exclusions apply. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not only legal but encouraged. It's the enhanced games.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year. Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth. Listen to Superhuman on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:27:02 A win is a win. A win is a win. I don't care what you're saying. Yep, that's me. Cliver Taylor the 4th. You might have seen the skits, the reactions, my journey from basketball to college football, or my career in sports media. Well, somewhere along the way, this platform became bigger than I ever imagined. And now I'm bringing all of that excitement to my brand new podcast, The Clifford Show.
Starting point is 00:27:23 This is a place for raw, unfiltered conversations with some of your favorite athletes, creators, and voices that not only deserve to be heard, but celebrated. One week, I'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest moments in sports and entertainment, and the next we'll talk about life, mental health, purpose, and even music. The Clifford Show isn't just a podcast, it's a space for honest conversations, stories that don't always get told, and for people who are chasing something bigger. So if you've ever supported me or you're just chasing down a dream, this is right where you need to be.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Listen to the Clifford Show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more behind the scenes, follow at Clifford and at TikTok Podcast Network on TikTok. Do you remember when Diana Ross double-tapped Little Kim's boobs at the VMAs? Or when Kanye said that George Bush didn't like black people. I know what you're thinking. What the hell does George Bush got to do with Little Kim? Well, you can find out on the Look Back at it podcast. I'm Sam J.
Starting point is 00:28:19 And I'm Alex English. Each episode, we picket here, unpack what went down, and try to make sense of how we survived it. Including a recent episode with Mark Lamont Hill, waxing all about crack in the 80s. To be clear, 84 is big to me, not just because, of crack. I'm down to talk about crack on day, but just so y'all know.
Starting point is 00:28:39 I mean, at this point, Mark, this is the second episode where we've discussed crack. So I'm starting to see that there's a through line. We also have AIDS on the table right now. Thank you finishing that sentence. Yes. I don't think there's a more important year for black people. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:54 For me, it's one of the most important years for black people in American history. Listen to look back at it on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Eileen Perez is the girl that twerked on Joe Rogan, me, Michael Bisbing, and then last weekend, anybody in the side of the act got her and a coach.
Starting point is 00:29:16 But she was on the side of the eye got twerking. But Aileen the stallion. More importantly, Doug, more importantly, she got snuck at the UFCPI, bro.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Jocelyn Edwards is a fighter in the UFC. She has blue hair sometimes, red hair sometimes. She's Panamanian. Eileen Perez said, so pretty much I'm someone just like everyone. I don't have a problem person with anybody. She said what I did was,
Starting point is 00:29:47 I stated my opinion online about the fight. I didn't disrespect anyone. I didn't talk bad about anyone. But this irrelevant lady came up to me after I opinionated about one of her fights, just talking about the performance that she did. she came to assault me. She did assault me
Starting point is 00:30:06 with the intention to make me pull out of my fight, but I'm sorry. She did not achieve it. I won and I fought regardless of the assault that took place. She also said, I want to thank my coach
Starting point is 00:30:17 who was there at the time of the assault because if it wasn't for him, I would have had much worse injuries because he was able to take her off of me when she was assaulting me. And the fight probably would have been off if it wasn't for my coach, saving me. So this leads to the,
Starting point is 00:30:32 to the question. This leads me to this question. Is the UFCPI a little bit scary or dangerous being that they have so many fighters there even if it's fighters of different weight classes,
Starting point is 00:30:49 fighters that are the same weight class? It is such a beautiful facility. You guys have all been there. You know what it provides. But what can the UFC do to make sure that this doesn't happen and they can separate fighters who may have issues with each other.
Starting point is 00:31:06 I don't know, man. Like at this point, you're just putting people with that high level. I want to say testosterone, but they got females in there as well, right? But so I don't know what you mean. Yeah, testosterone too, Terry. Yeah, testosterone too, maybe. Like, I don't know maybe. This dude crazy, man.
Starting point is 00:31:22 It's probably just going to be like up in the security, man. Like, and you got to, you got to, you're going to have to manage, like, who's in there. And if you identify that these people have a problem with each other in the You can't let them train together. You can't let them work out. It sounds like she was beating her up. It sounds like she was beating her up. I just heard I heard that that dude kind of like
Starting point is 00:31:42 bringing back to a basketball reference when Draymond Green grab a homeboy Rudy Gobert. I heard he did the same thing to Jocelyn Edwards, bro. Like the saver, brother. The dude was choking Jocelyn Edwards. Yeah, that's what I heard. Like, I wasn't there. Obviously, I didn't see a video.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Who did you hear this from? Because I haven't heard it. I heard that. I heard that. I heard that. UFC staff that's telling you what happened. Hey, I'd just be listening to YouTube, bro. Like, I just be having a little time on my head, right?
Starting point is 00:32:10 That's why I say, like, I can't, I preface it with. I don't know what's true or not. But that's just what I heard, right? Like, I heard that's what that girl, Jocelyn Elvis said, that dude. That's such a lapian thing. You try to, yeah, bro. If it's on YouTube, it must be true.
Starting point is 00:32:26 It must be true. True, too, bro. I don't think they need no security, man. They fight us, though. If you got a problem, man, y'all squabble. Go ahead and squabble, duh. Especially y'all not in the same way class, y'all never fight. You can't just say anything you want.
Starting point is 00:32:42 And you can't just twerk on people, bro. But you can't. What if she could have been that, the chick that chick didn't want her to twerk on her? No, she didn't work on her. She was talking. She just judged her last performance. Bro, we don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Some of these fighters come at me about, they come at me because of, like, me talking about the fights and stuff. And doing stuff like this, honestly, doing stuff like this where I'm just constantly talking about these athletes. A lot of times they come at me like, hey man, what did you think? And I'm like, I thought you lost. It was not there.
Starting point is 00:33:11 Obviously, she's addicted to twerking. We don't know what happened. So you think I was that. Is there a possibility that maybe she twerked on somebody that Jocelyn Edwards was sweet? And she didn't like it, bro. We can't judge what happened. But that's not what happened. I'm telling you all exactly what happened.
Starting point is 00:33:26 You're saying like, is it possible, though. Oh, I saw on YouTube. I saw on you. I saw on YouTube. You're lying, bro. No, actually, no, dang it. Do you realize? So you telling me the same coach that stopped the chick from beating her up was the same coach that put his legs on the damn cage and twerk his ass off to after the bike?
Starting point is 00:33:47 Hey, that was. They posted wide open, bro. She said, come on. Come on. Can I tell you something? When she did that to me, I had no idea that she, that was like her thing. I had no idea that was her thing. Like, I don't pay attention, I guess.
Starting point is 00:34:01 What was on your mind? Like what would happen like whenever she did that to you like what's the first thing? Please stop. For all these people help not before all these people no that's all that's all. That's all. Did she say hey I'm gonna twerk on you after we know she didn't she said I'm sorry. It's kind of my thing up you know what I was like I was like please stop but then the first text message I get back to my seat and I want one of y'all who would not be there was like she got
Starting point is 00:34:27 some big legs. It wouldn't mean. It wouldn't be either now. Maybe it was garden, dude. Yeah, it was G. It was G, bro. It was G. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:34:39 All right, fellas. Well, hey. Hey, hold on real quick, though. But speaking on people doing inappropriate things, like twerking on people, I think Jamel has something else that he wants to talk about. We done? Yeah, bro, we done, right. So we're not going to talk about diddy?
Starting point is 00:34:59 Hey. We probably should. I thought we're talking about Diddy today, man. The only reason I came on today, because I thought we were talking about Diddy. That's what we were his promise. He literally said the title on the show today was Bad Boys Connected. Don't like, subscribe.
Starting point is 00:35:18 Tell your friends at D.C. got a YouTube channel, and I'm dealing with these fools. We are not talking about Diddy, man. Until the next time. No, me neither, bro. Another podcast from some SNL, late-night comedy guide. Not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
Starting point is 00:35:43 This week, my guest, S&L's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and Friends on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Imagine an Olympics where doping is not.
Starting point is 00:36:04 only legal, but encouraged. It's the enhanced games. Some call it grotesque. Others say it's unleashing human potential. Either way, the podcast's Superhuman documented it all, embedded in the games and with the athletes for a full year. Within probably 10 days, I'd put on 10 pounds. I was having trouble stopping the muscle growth.
