This is an IHeart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast.
Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
Welcome in everybody to Fantasy Pros.
This is the Fantasy Football Podcast.
It's me, Joey P, Joe P, Zepia,
and the NFL season in 2025-slash-2026 is in the books,
which means free agency is around the corner.
And free agency is going to affect not just the landing spots
and the value of those guys that are free agents,
but also some of the players that are already on established teams
and established roles as well
and how that is going to impact them is the topic
of today's show with Jake Sealy from the Athletic and the Undertaker himself, Andrew Erickson.
The boys and I are going to discuss some of the players, some of the positions on some teams as well that could be very affected by what's going to go on in the weeks ahead of NFL free agency.
But before we get to that, subscribe to the podcast feed, subscribe to the channel as well.
And of course, on our YouTube.
And speaking to YouTube, for all you crazy dynasty nerds out there, we've got a whole new YouTube channel just for you.
That's right.
the Dynasty channel at Fantasy Pros has officially launched as of last week.
So if you haven't already, go check it out.
They've got all kinds of fun shows going on there right now.
Rookie ranks, Super Flex Strategy, startup drafts, everything's going on there right now.
Fantasy Pros, Dynasty, YouTube is here.
Subscribe today.
Go check it out.
Fitsy, Worm, Bogman, a bunch of guests, a bunch of great content contributors over there.
And it is a very exciting channel.
They can have some mock drafts coming up to right around the corner.
But gentlemen, we're going to start here today with.
some young up-and-coming talent as well on this program.
Guys that kind of showed some flashes or guys that have high expectations or high draft
capital attached to them that could be impacted by the free agency of 2026.
So Jake, I want to start with yours here because you want to talk about J.J. McCarthy.
Obviously, the draft stock pretty involved for the Minnesota Vikings.
They made a hard decision to get rid of Sam Darnold.
And the Super Bowl later, Sam Darnold is a champion and the Vikings were not in the playoffs.
So how does the offseason of free agency possibly affect J.J. McCarthy stock in 2026?
I could be out the window in a zero stock and sunk cost and it's over because we've seen like the Colts, you know, there was a big talk last year with Daniel Jones being the backup and Anthony Richardson obviously got hurt and that whole like that ripple effect is what we could see with the Vikings without the injury.
That's the whole point.
It's like they might be done with J.J. McCarthy.
And they might have already decided this isn't working.
We're moving on.
this is we lost our draft pick.
It just wasn't a smart move because also, oh, by the way, they moved on from their GM.
By the way, well, he was at the Senior Bowl.
They're like, you're out of here.
And I'm like, oh, well, thanks for telling me while I'm out scouting these players,
who was behind the J.J. McCarthy pick.
So there's a lot of here, whether they do it straight up with a free agent,
whether they do it by a trade, whatever they do.
I think there's a good chance that I know we're not talking to him on this show.
No, we're not.
But when we talk about them on the other show, a certain old, old,
old, old quarterback that might have some ties back to the Vikings and come back for a one-off year.
No, no, I see you shaking your head.
Kirk cousins?
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, not Kirk cousins.
Aaron Rogers.
Aaron Rogers.
Oh, Aaron Rogers.
Oh, I, but that's a good guess.
That's fun.
Either one of them, the point being is just, just, just, just, J.J. McCarthy might be done.
And that's why he could lose all his value.
But that would be good for us for the Justin Jefferson hope because right now his done value is also ruining
Justin Jefferson.
Do you think the negativity is exasperated?
over or exacerbated, I should say, pardon me, because of Sam Donald's success this year.
Like if Sam Darnold had a, you know, nine-win season with the Seahawks and didn't play very well,
the fact that you have to watch Sam Darnold go somewhere else win a Super Bowl?
Do you think that just kind of just doubles down all the pressure on the Minnesota Vikings to get quarterback right?
Whereas, you know, if Donald had a so-so year, they go, okay, well, this is just rookie development,
and we'll be a little bit more patient because it kind of feels like that to me.
I think that's a fan perception, obviously, and I think depending on how much they're listening,
to the fans is part of it because I agree with you, Joe, but I don't know how much the front
office really cares about that. At the end of the day, they want to sell tickets. They want their
fans to be happy and win and all that type of stuff with the team. But at the same time, like,
this is a J.J. McCarthy issue. This was he didn't have a rookie season. He was injured. What did
he learned the whole time? Looks like nothing. And that's the, that's the biggest issue. You can't come out
your second year and look as raw as he did with all the concerns we had of him coming out of college,
making all the poor throws he was making.
And just, you know, as much as he target Justin Jefferson,
it was a massive drop off from a dude with one arm.
An old-ass Carson Wentz with one arm was doing better with Justin Jefferson in this
offense than you were.
So I think that's the biggest thing is that they gave him the opportunity.
They really said, we're going into 2025.
It's McCarthy's job.
This is why we drafted him.
He had a free year to learn.
And he didn't do any, it doesn't look like he took any progress forward for all the complaints
about Anthony Richardson.
The same complaint should be with J.J.
McCarthy. All right, fair enough. Now, another player, too, Andrew wants to talk about who is a young
player, possibly an up-and-coming talent, who's actually coming off a pretty productive season.
Woody Marks of the Houston Texans. So Andrew, you put him on the list because you think he could
be impacted by this off-season, a free agency as well. I look at Woody Marks in his situation as a
former day three running back. The draft capital is not there for him to be not irreplaceable by the
Houston Texans. And I know that you mentioned that he was productive.
That's because he got volume.
Because you look at every other efficiency stat for Woody Marks,
and he's at the bottom.
Bottom 10, yards per carry, rushing success rate, explosive runs, EPA.
Like, you can't find him at the top of any type of rushing metric where,
oh, Woody Marks is really efficient in this,
especially when it comes to the lack of involvement as a receiver.
And that was his calling card coming out of college.
Oh, this guy's going to catch a bunch of passes.
And Houston, Texas really didn't even use him in that role.
In fact, Jaward Jordan had more games with five catches than Woody Marks did.
Jawar Jordan stepped in the first action he got immediately rushes for 100 yards.
Woody Marks had one 100 rushing yard game all season and came into playoffs against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
So I don't think that he showed that, oh, I'm so far beyond more talented than every other running back on this roster.
I mean, he was splitting touches for the first half of the season with Nick Chubb, who is very, very, very past his prime.
last in running backs in terms of mistackles force per attempt.
So again, a lot of the efficiency metrics were bad for all Texans running backs.
Again, Nick Chubbs also at the bottom on a lot of these lists because of the Texans'
offensive line, but miss tackles forced, I mean, that's on you.
Like, you're the running back.
You got to make somebody miss, and Woody Marks was failing to do that.
Dead last and fantasy points versus expectation.
And the other thing that really got people tilted with Woody Marks was every time it
looked like he was going to take a step forward in a game, he would leave with an injury.
he would always get like constantly banged up in and out of the blue medical tent.
So I think for Woody Marks, to your point, again, look at the counting stats.
He was productive.
Use him to ship him off.
Like that's what I would be doing in terms of like a dynasty perspective of Woody Marks
because even if he survives free agency, which I don't think that he will because I think
the Texas will at least add someone to replace Nick Chubb as the veteran in the room.
I think they're also live to draft a running back in this year's class.
So for me and also too, I mean, Joe,
it's still under contract.
Right, right?
Like, I don't know what is going on with him.
I don't think he really should be a factor in play here, but who knows?
Maybe he does come back.
He's still owed money by the Houston Texans.
So I do think that they're a dark horse to land a guy like Breece Hall.
They were calling the Jets last year about getting something like Briseau.
And if Hall ends up in Houston, I mean, Woody Marks Sayanara to any value that he had.
Well, last thing the Texans want to do this offseason is shoot themselves in the foot at the running back position.
See what they did there?
See what I did?
Wow.
All right.
All right.
Next.
Allegedly.
Allegedly.
All right.
Let's talk about...
I actually agree with that one, by the way.
Just say no.
I agree with...
Metaphorically or figuratively.
Never mind.
Don't answer that.
Let's go to the next position here on the running backs, too.
Let's talk about a couple running backs that had some draft stock going into 20-25 season.
Jacori Kroski Merritt, one of the darling sleepers of the fantasy nerd community that,
unfortunately, didn't quite, I think, returned the...
investment that people were hoping for.
There was a lot of committee action.
There were some opportunities.
There were some good games.
There were some disappointing games as well.
So Jake Sealy, how could the Washington commanders end up going out this offseason of free agency and kind of ruining his value?
Just adding somebody, period.
We can see Austin Echler and obviously McNichols, they're both gone, likely in free agency.
But do they turn to Dr.
Gricorke-Maric as the only guy?
I don't think.
And obviously, not the only guy in the roster, but the only guy is like a bell cow.
I don't think so.
This is also last year.
Ben Standick was reporting before the season even started.
They said, let's remember he's played one game in the previous two seasons.
They're going to not give him the bowl a ton to start the season, probably looking at the second half.
And even kind of then, we didn't get a ton of it.
Looks to be kind of a timeshare running back, which is okay.
That's what half the league is in their backfields at this point.
But you're telling me that Washington with all that cap space, like everybody's talking about
Brace Hall to the Chiefs or Bruce Hall here or Kenneth Walker, is he going back to the Seahawks or so?
But you're telling me that the, look, the commanders bringing in,
I think this is interesting too, like the David Blow, moving him up and giving
a promotion to offensive cornea, this guy learned from Kevin O'Connell, Ben Johnson, and then
was under Kingsbury last year.
Go back to Kevin O'Connell and what they've been able to do with their offense,
is also a lot of times with their split backfields.
You're telling me that the commanders aren't in play to add something to that backfield
significant.
And I'm not talking like Rico Dowdell.
I'm not like, what if they make one of the big names there?
And like, even if it is Rico Doudal, Rico Doudal is going to split with,
And I think that's the problem here is that,
Corey Kroski,
Merritt, I would almost bet money is splitting with somebody next year.
Even if he's the lead,
I think it might only be 50% of the workload.
All right.
Speaking of workload,
Alvin Camaro's gotten a ton of that in the last couple of years here for the New Orleans Saints.
He's been a fantasy stalwart running back that we have looked to time and time again.
Last year,
started to show some age,
I think a little bit too.
And we all think that,
you know,
another year on in running back position,
we all know what that typically means.
So could the Saints
be looking to change things up. I know he wanted to stay there. He didn't want out of there.
There was rumors of the trade deadline that Alvin Camara could be on his way to a contender,
but he's like, no, I don't want to leave New Orleans. But does New Orleans want to move on from
Alvin Camara? That is the question. I think that that's something they have to consider, right?
They are second worst in terms of salary cap space at negative 42 million at the time of this
recording. Only the chiefs are in a worse salary cap spot than the Saints. But this is very
status quo for New Orleans. They're always
minus $40 million in caps. Basically, they always find a way to figure things out.
But Camara, the efficiency continues to dwindle.
And last year, again, worse in terms of career lows in rushing efficiency across the board.
And I thought that was really interesting. Again, before his injury, that kind of derailed
the rest of his season. And they never, I don't believe they put him on injured reserve.
They kept saying, no, yeah, he'll come back. And then he never came back, which is really
annoying. Fewer than 17 receiving yards per game. He had never had never had.
how to season with fewer than 30 receiving yards per game. Career low, three catches per game.
So in this new offense with Kellynne Moore, hyper-targeting the running back out of the backfield
was not really part of the offensive focal point. Now, could that change a little bit here with
Tyler Shuck being the full-time starter under center? You only have Juan Johnson, Chris Olavay,
Devon Vele, and you're taking Rashid out of the offense and out of the equation. So it's possible
that maybe Camara's numbers as a receiver would be a little bit better. But I think,
think that that's really important to pay attention to that his fit in this offense is not the
same as it was in those years past when he was the number one target all the time, especially
out of the backfield with a lot of I dealing with injuries. So they can save money if they are
cutting him. I mean, among all the running backs in the NFL next year, he has the largest running back
cap hit, 31 year old Alvin Camara, right? So like that, like that's just to me, it's like the
Saints team wants to improve build off Tyler Shuck in his second season. And is Alvin Camer as
like the featured piece of your backfield, is that really the best way to deploy this offense?
I think that they are very live to add a player like we just mentioned, and Rico Dowdell, again,
he's got ties to Kellynne Moore. They had overlap time in Dallas. There's a lot of ex-Dallas
staffers on that New Orleans Saints staff under Kellynne Moore. So I think Dowdell, again,
would be a perfect fit and compliment to Alvin Camara, but I don't know what his role is going
to be where, oh, yeah, we feel great about playing Alvin Camara in fantasy this week.
Like, it's going to be very situational based where, okay, maybe,
in a negative game script, he's going to catch passes out of the backfield.
But the rushing, is he going to be the Red Zone guy?
And then also the flashes that you saw from Devin Neal and Adrick Estimate last year,
you know, are those guys going to be involved as like a third rotational back
because they got some action later on in the season.
So that's just, I think Camero, when I look at his value after free agency,
I don't think that we're going to be saying, oh, well, Alvin Camer, big winner and free agency.
I guess, like, if he doesn't get cut, then like that would be a big win.
but I have concerns about the moving pieces in that backfield.
I was going to say, I don't even know if getting cut necessarily kills him.
The fact that he could get hurt your last point just by still being on this team because
I looked this up the other day because there was a lot of people during the season.
They're like, oh, they're done with Calvin Camerran.
And I'm like, what is this contract?
And I looked, and they're probably going to have to restructure it if they want to just go into next year.
They only save eight if they cut them after June 1st.
And that still leaves him on the hook for 11.
So this is going to be answered.
he might be stuck there on a restructure,
but I agree with the Andrew,
like it might not matter.
Even if he is stuck there,
he might lose his value anyway.
I'm just saying,
don't be surprised if he's still there.
And if he gets,
but if he,
and if he gets cut to Joe mentioned in the beginning,
he may not play at all because he says,
I want to,
it's either Cancun or New Orleans.
Like that's it for Alvin Camara.
Hey,
you know,
I wish I had that option for the first time.
Yeah,
a couple weeks ago.
It's good options.
So New Orleans is fun.
I get it.
I stuff my face with bignets and Andrew Ericson and I,
And I were drinking and cards.
I got that one.
It was a good time.
It was a good time.
But look, it's not just some of these players to.
Sometimes free agency is going to affect an entire group of players at a position on a team.
So we're going to talk about those as well.
So Jake, I think very astutely you've pointed out the Buffalo Bills need an overhaul.
They haven't replaced Stefan Diggs since he left.
And it's a glaring hole there in their offense.
And they get into these big games and they need these big plays from their wide receivers.
They just can't seem to get somebody.
to step up into that void.
So how is an addition, whether it be an Alec Pierce or an A.J. Brown via trade or something
possibly happening with the Bills wide receiver group that's going to affect this entire
grouping there of whatever's left between Shakir and Keon-Kulman, et cetera, et cetera,
et cetera, et cetera.
You know what this is like?
I mean, the bills are realizing what they're doing to Josh Allen is like what the Giants
did with Seekwan Barclay.
Like, hey, let's have this amazing talent and surround them with junk.
Like, I know Josh Allen, similar to Tom,
Brady and all the other great quarterbacks and elite ones that will be Hall of Famers can
rise the tide and rise all the boats. But at the same time, there's a limit. Like, you can't
turn Cleo Shakir and Josh Palmer who can't stay healthy. And Keon Coleman will look like a bust right now.
Well, there was a limit with Brady at the end of the Patriot era too, Jake. We saw it. We saw it.
They kept, you know, fuzzin out in the end of the playoffs there. Are you saying that throwing to
Nikiel Harry wasn't working? I'm saying throwing to Nikiel Harry wasn't working. Yes, that's
exactly what I'm saying. Great, great shout. Nikiel Harry. I wasn't expecting.
You can catch a stray on this.
He's a free agent, by the way.
I mean, he knows he's trying to convert to tight end.
That's when you know you're done is with the receiver that can't get open.
Oh, well, I'll convert to tight end.
They're trying to play tight end.
The good old late career, Kelvin Benjamin.
Jordan Matthews trying to do it.
Back to the bills.
This is very simple.
They don't have a one.
They're going to address this position.
And maybe it's only in the draft, but we are talking for agency.
I expect with the names that are out there, there's a handful.
it's not going to be George Pickens, as we heard,
they're already going to franchise Pickens.
But what if it's like, hey, Mike Evans at the end of the career?
And like Mike Evans,
we're going to just keep discounting him.
And like I know this kind of almost feels like Mike Evans going to the bills,
feels like, you know,
a Hopkins going to the Ravensards.
But it's different because they've lacked a one.
And this is just a trickle down.
In fact, whoever they bring in is going to push down,
Shakir is going to push down.
I don't even know who the three is at this point.
I was going to say Palmer, but it's probably not.
I mean, try Keon Coleman again.
But this is also a very 12.
heavy set so it doesn't really matter. It's probably blank and Shakir. So maybe we can get some
Shakir, Y-R-R-Resteerer 4 value where it's, hey, he doesn't need the attention. He isn't Stefan
Diggs. He's a lesser version of Stefan Diggs, which again is okay. But just understanding that's who
he is, he can't be the one for this team. Somebody else needs to be. So this is a trickle also to
Josh Allen, where we could get Josh Allen back to being elite also in the passing game, where it was
a little bit of a downtick of a year for him. But we could be talking about the bills in the Super
ball. We can talk about Josh Allen being 24 points per game next year. This is going to affect
everybody on this team. Yeah, certainly going to indeed. And Andrew Erickson, certainly
in New England Patriots, I think, could be looking for some more separation in their wide
receiver core as well. Except on Diggs had a pretty good season, but it has been a no-name group,
right? You've had the Matt Collins. You've had Kisham Booty, step up and make some, you know,
big plays and some big spots. And even Kyle Williams, you know, fun. Like, oh, he does is catch touchdowns,
but there really isn't that alpha dog there.
And if you're going to grow a young quarterback into an MVP,
you kind of need some help.
And it feels like the Pat's kind of lacking that.
So how can potentially this offseason free agency impact the Patriots wide receiver group?
Or maybe by trickle effect, the tight ends as well?
I just think that they're in the market to land a premier pass catcher,
whether that is in free agency or in the NFL draft.
You look at their current roster and depth chart.
Yeah, they don't have a lot of alphas.
And Stefan Diggs was the number one guy.
this year and he really started to break out in the second half of the season, but I mean,
no show in the Super Bowl, right? Like, he was not involved really whatsoever. And that was kind
with all the receivers and pass catchers. I mean, Matt Collins was the guy making all the place.
Matt Collins was like really old. Like, people forget he was in the NFL for a while as like a
straight special teams player. He's a free agent in 2007. So is DeMario Douglas. So is Kay Sean Booty.
I think Booty's probably the one that they try to lock up long term because he's a younger player
and showed Flash as a, I think could be a number two or a strong number three,
especially as a deep threat with Jake May.
So I like Booty in that type of role, but these other players, Hunter Henry also not getting
any younger.
He's going to be 32.
He's going to be a free agent in 2007.
So the thing is everyone is still under contract, including Stefan Diggs, but he's owed
a lot of money the next two years.
Are they going to expect him to be as effective as he was this past season when he's
getting another year older?
He'll be 32 years old.
when you have your rookie quarterback on a rookie deal.
I think it makes more sense for them to not pay Stefan Diggs necessarily a ton of money
if they can use those assets and resources towards getting a better, younger, wide receiver
to pair with Drake May.
And this isn't a reason just like, oh, just get rid of Stefan Diggs.
No, it's, well, explore your options.
Because if you can upgrade, get a younger receiver.
And the guy that I pinpoint to is A.J. Brown, right?
Especially with the trade market reports have been that they're looking for a second round pick
for AJ Brown, I mean,
Mike Frable is like the one guy that you're confident,
okay, they bring AJ Brown in the building,
Mike Brable can make this work.
And AJ Brown wants to be an alpha.
He wants to be a number one wide receiver.
I think he can still play like a number one wide receiver.
He's still 28 years old,
still a guy that can produce at an elite level.
And right now in Philadelphia,
they're not treating him like a true wide receiver one.
So I think that if AJ Brown or another name ends up in New England,
well, you have to kind of knock down all these other pass catchers
in the Patriots offense that,
I mean, for the most part, was mostly ancillary.
Yeah, like there, there were mostly incillary pieces.
I mean, Stefan Diggs, we could barely trust because he was only playing like 50% or 60% of the snaps in routes.
Yeah, Diggs is not the long term answer.
I think we could all agree.
Like, it was a nice story.
It was fun this year.
You know, I'm sorry that he and Cardi B broke up.
It's very sad news.
But it's not.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I think she's following somewhere from the Seahawks now.
Yeah, they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
That's when she only.
She only dates winners.
Whenever Jake and I got an argument when we used to do radio together for years, I would unfollow him on social media and he would have follow me.
That's how everyone knew we were fighting.
Wait,
did they broke up before the Super Bowl?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, my daughter told me about it.
See, this is the pus when you're football.
Oh, my God.
Why is I going to tell us before I told us before I bet on the Patriots?
I shouldn't know.
I didn't know this either.
I found out when I sat down to watch the game with the girls and they were like, do you know that?
It's like, really?
I did not know that.
And then they were telling me about, yeah, because they asked her for a quote.
and she said, well, what do you have to say about to Stefan Dakes for a Super Bowl?
She said, well, good luck.
And I was like, that seems kind of weird.
And then they unfollowed each other.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas brothers.
And guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, new?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called,
Hey, Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to a...
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.
starting a trend.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name,
Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it
one of the early names of our band
before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing,
a bit for the podcast where people could call in
and say, hey Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little,
Notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

We don't care where you hear it.
Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.

Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel, help an

What's up, fam?
It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defining the odds.
Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
And finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves,
I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series
because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything he gives us
on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson,
we dive into some playoff history too.
But get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying.
He running up the court,
licking his fingers why he got the ball.
Like, after you go through a training camp with that, Izaa,
you figure it out real quick.
Get your ass up and down the court,
and you're going to get the ball.

All right, next up on the list, we've got a couple of names.
We're going to do a little lightning round,
and then we're going to talk about what would happen
if free agency started tomorrow, which it doesn't.
We got more free agency shows coming at your latest.
in the week too. A lot of good stuff. Jake, myself, Tom Stracken, so make sure you stood tuned
into the channel here. Let's talk about a well-known wide receiver, somebody that's established
Jake, Darnell Mooney, who could potentially find himself on the outs and free agency, especially
with a new coach coming in. Yeah, that's a big thing we know is to Fanski, Tommy Reese.
We're probably going to see more 12 with this team and a lot of tight-end usage in those
and more running, which means we hope that Drake London and whoever the tight end, whether
there's Kyle Pizz or somebody else has their value, but what's number two?
And at number two, it's going to be hard to have that kind of value in their offense,
let alone if it's Darnel Mooney, which would, like, we joke about the whole fact that like,
it would be nice to know about the separated shoulder at the beginning of the season, blah, blah, blah.
But I mean, Mooney with this team is basically pretty much post injury from the previous injury,
hasn't just been the Mooney that we hoped he could be and be like, hey, he's just going to be that big play threat.
He only needs 50 receptions to put up 900 yards and a handful of touchdowns.
I don't even know if he's the number two next year.
At this point, you look at what the Falcons could possibly do under this with also
Stefansky being the new head coach with Reese as his OC is that they don't have ties to
Mooney.
They don't have ties to anybody on this team.
They might just come in and say, hey, we want our own version of Mooney, who's come
somebody completely different if they go down the depth chart of, I think there's somebody
at free agency you go down the list like a Calvin Austin, like a random like just a flyer like
that just because not that I think Calvin Austin's any great shakes, but if they bring him in,
I think Mooney's job is in significant threat for the Falcons next year.
All right.
For you, Andrew Erickson, one of the guys we want to talk about, another established wide-out guy, Calvin Ridley, who a lot of people actually had some decent expectations for, well, they all fell flat.
And the saga of Calvin Ridley and the roller coaster we've ridden for so many years could be at an end here for him in Tennessee.
So let's talk about Calvin Ridley and how free agency might impact his fantasy value next year.
Yeah, Calvin really, the by low that is still seeing.
his value go down and down by the days.
With Calvin Ridley, he's 31 years old.
He's coming off a broken fibula injury.
Similar to Darno Mooney, you have a new offensive coordinator, new head coach
combination coming in for the Tennessee Titans.
Did not show much chemistry with Cam Ward last year.
It was Calvin really seeing a lot of air yard, seeing a lot of targets, but the conversion
rate was not there for him.
Now, the one thing that kind of works for Calvin Ridley is the fact that,
Brian Dayball actually coached Calvin Ridley at Alabama in 2017.
However, if the Titans decide, yeah, we don't care.
We're going to save $13.4 million if we cut Calvin Ridley.
I think that's extremely telling that even Dayball wasn't able to save Calvin Ridley
and his job with the Tennessee Titans.
I think that a move that they could make is they cut Ridley and instead
Daibald gets his guy from New York, Wanda Robinson, brings him in to vacuum up targets
from Cam Ward.
So that's kind of a scenario I'm seeing, and that leaves Calvin
on Ridley in kind of no man's.
Who's going to sign Ridley to a big deal?
Or to really like any type of contract.
Like I'm afraid with Ridley, is he going down?
It's not an exact one for one, but like the Giante Johnson route where, again, he's
really productive, gets a lot of targets, but, you know, does some things with some coaching
staffs where rubs them the wrong way, and then all the lead, you look up, but he's not in the
league anymore.
So I'll tell you where he goes if he gets cut, by the way.
Where's you going to Atlanta?
He's going to Pittsburgh.
Oh, yeah.
McCarthy has no wide.
He's a three wide.
wide offense and he has nobody.
He's going to need live receivers.
But anyway, I like that call with Daibel.
I actually include that entire room because of the Daibol factor is coming in because
of Wondell wouldn't just kill him.
And if he's with the team, Wondell would hurt D.K.
too, which would be a lot of fun loss.
Because D.K. could be that role with Daible.
Probably more D.K. in the strict, like, gadget gadget.
Yeah.
Like this entire room could be destroyed in free agency.
I know.
Good times.
All the Van Jefferson.
All the Van Jefferson.
Taking shots.
Let's not do that, please.
All right, let's talk about a tight end who could have their potential value in danger.
Theo Johnson, certainly a guy that comes to mind for you, Jake.
Let's talk about him.
This is the easiest one out there probably of this entire list because what did
immediately everybody do as soon as John Harbaugh sign with the Giants.
Oh, Isaiah likely.
Tyler Lindelbaum, they're both going to the Giants.
But what's the more likely one is Isaiah likely, and no pun intended there,
it the Theo Johnson would be interesting if he was the guy under John Harbaugh.
And you understand that Harbaugh is going to use his tight end.
He likes to get him a matchup problems.
And Theo Johnson is a matchup problem.
Let's be clear about that.
But he's also somebody who has shown so far that Eric Ebron situation we got going on over here.
Like catch the damn ball, dude.
Like that's the problem right now.
And you think that Harbaugh hasn't seen this film and coming in and being like,
you know what?
You know who I know can catch the ball?
You know what I know can be a matchup threat is Isaiah likely.
The Giants cap situation is very easily.
manipulated right now they're at seven you could get to 60 in a blink with restructures and a few
cuts and that's the big thing about it i think the giants are more in play than people
realize for both but more so likely it likely comes in theo johnson's dead that's sad uh i would
just say mat naggy meeting there that that just kind of kills most fancy value he's kind of a
fancy killer but not as funny as me being frozen and dead uh jake ferguson is he dead in his
spot here, Andrew Erickson in
26. Well, he's not dead
in terms of, he's still going to be the
Cowboys starting tight end, but
I think that he's dead at, in terms of
being a locked and loaded fantasy
tight end one, because when you look at
the situation with George Pickens,
most likely he's being franchised tag by the Dallas Cowboys,
likely means he's going to be coming back.
Now they could always tag him and trade him. We'll see how
things kind of shake out here. But
when Lamb and Pickens played
with Jake Ferguson last year,
7.3 points per game.
very average middle line tight end production, nothing special.
When Lamb was out for a period of time beginning of the season, Ferguson was up to 13.5 points
per game.
So you can see his fantasy value teetering significantly based on whether Pickens returns to Dallas Cowboys or not, because without Pickens, okay, like Ferguson, you can feel good about drafting him as one of these later round tight ends who can finish as a top 10 option.
But if those two guys, those two alphas are back in this passing game, well, Jake,
Ferguson is going to be fighting an uphill battle to be like a fantasy titan that you draft,
but how confident and how high is the weekly ceiling going to be.
Again, Ferguson, I'm not so sure that he is this super dynamic player where career alone
yards per catch last year at 7.3 touchdowns really carried his finish last season.
So if he's not catching as many touchdowns because of these other two guys in the offense,
didn't have more than 20 receiving yards in his last four games.
So I have a lot of concerns about Jake Ferguson, especially where he's going to be drafted probably in that middle tier of tight end.
And traditionally those are really bad bets to make.
So Jake Ferguson for me is trending like a tight end that I'm not going to be drafting a lot next year.
All right.
There you go.
So those are five guys from each of the boys there that they are concerned about going into 2026 free agency in the NFL.
We're going to get some more names for you in a second before we do.

Belts, rings, everything, fantasy football.
I got a couple of them myself.
They are awesome.
All right, let's do a little lightning round.
James Connor, Aaron Jones, Michael Penix.
Let's start with you.
Jake Sealy.
James Connor, free agency.
How could it affect him in 2026?
Is he just done?
No, he's like Theo Johnson.
You're done.
Done.
Okay.
Unless this meniscus for Theo, or Theo, Trey Benson is more complicated than people thought.
Like, I know he never came back last year, but it was a meniscus.
It was orthoscopic.
Like, Trey Benson being back is already James Connor's done, let alone at this point of
his career.
He's a time share piece.
All right. Andrew Erickson, Aaron Jones, another veteran running back. What are your thoughts on him? Is he done as well?
Third highest running back hit at $15 million for a guy that has not been able to stay healthy, didn't even look like the number one running back at times in the Vikings backfield last year, age 31. I mean, he's probably going to get cut. So that's not good for his fantasy value. Again, he could land somewhere. Maybe he ends up going to Pittsburgh, too.
reuniting with Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rogers if they lose Kenneth Gainwell. But when guys get cut, their value does not usually.
bounce back right away. So I think that free agency is going to hurt Jones because I think he's
going to be on the open market. All right. Is free agency going to hurt Michael Pennix at all?
We haven't really get into the quarterback vibes too much here. We just touched on McCarthy.
Some veterans are out there and some guys that, you know, could be jettisoned as well.
Malik Willis is a guy that's been talked about a lot. What do you think new coach? Could Michael
Penix be not necessarily Stefanski's cup of T-J? I think that he could see it try to work with
him. I think Pennix showed it was enough for us in fantasy, though. Like, I mean,
not that concerned about it because Panax is 90% his arm, 95% his arm.
And we already saw like, what was he 13 fantasy?
He was at the bottom.
He was at like 28, 29th, the quarterback's a fancy points per game.
So maybe he can get a little bit more out of them.
But for us in fantasy, I'm not that worried about it.
It's more for what he does for the pieces with Pennix, more than Pennix himself.
What do you think, Erickson, about the Pettix situation was Tafansky too?
I imagine you take the job thinking part of it is like, all right, you like the young
quarterback they have, don't you think?
I mean, he's not that young.
That's the star.
Like, he's not that.
I mean, I think that you like Bejohn and Drake London and like those pieces.
Like, Pennix is not, again, McCarthy's more incomplete, but it's not like Pennix has this illustrious two-year career that, oh, he's, I mean, he's coming off another torn ACL, like his fifth torn ACL.
So I think there is some hesitance there.
They have to get another backup quarterback in there.
So I know that they're going to cut Kirk Cousins, but I've also read that they could cut him.
him and then he could come back on a cheaper deal, so you can't, like, completely rule him out
returning to an offense and a player caller that he has worked with before, they could sign Joe Flacco,
right? Michael Pennick's placed the first four weeks. Doesn't look the right. Joe Flacco,
Joe Flacco, put him in, put him in. That becomes a concern. And then Jacoby Preset's another free agent
that has worked, or excuse me, another quarterback that could get moved, depending on what Arizona wants
to do with their quarterback situation, has also played with Stifansky. So I think it's just important because
the Falcons are going to add another quarterback. They have.
have to. Like currently, Kirk Cousins is going to get cut and Michael Penix is injured. I don't know
if they have a third quarterback on the roster. So whoever they end up bringing in as that second
guy, I think it's just somebody to keep and monitor because if Pennix doesn't look right coming
off, I don't know how long his leash is going to be. I mean, like, has he really locked into like,
oh, we got to give him the full season. I don't know if it's that easy, especially with the new head
coach. And if he's like, dude, I can get production out of flacko with all these playmakers.
I'm not waiting around for Pennix. Like, give me flackow.
Erickson, if free agency started tomorrow, who's the one player your most out on of everybody we talked about?
My ECR Ranking, or my rankings would say that it's what he marks, because I'm much lower on him versus consensus.
Jake, same question to you.
Who would you most be out on?
I mean, outside McCarthy, it would be Krosky Merritt?
Crossky Merritt.
Okay, who would you most be on?
Let's even on a high note to be excited about somebody, a free agency started tomorrow, who's the one player you're most excited about, Jake?
It has to be from what we talked about today.
No, no, it could be any free agent, just out of curiosity.
Like, I want to see this guy there.
I know we're going to be digging deeper into it for, you know, I like to leave things on a positive note.
It's kind of a negative show where we're talking about the landmines of this future of some of these players.
But it's nice to be positive.
So, well, I feel like the obvious name is, we'll just let Erickson take it.
I'm not saying that.
I'm not coming for Erickson by saying that.
I feel like that's the obvious name.
I'll say the other one.
And I know everybody's going to come for me to be like, oh, the Belcal you said last year,
blah, blah, blah, blah.
I didn't listen for the entire month of August.
But I would be most would be, most excited if Kenneth Walker is not in Seattle next year.
Because if somebody pays him to Belcal, what we just saw happen in the playoffs with no
Charbonnet, what we just saw in the Super Bowl, what we've seen with Kenneth Walker.
And that would be good.
And this is why.
Because it would be good for Charbonnet too.
Like I want both of them cleared out.
We've seen Charbonnet put up top 15 numbers, top 10 numbers.
Yeah, but Sharpernay is going to be so delayed into the season.
It would be bad for the Seahawks.
Is it really into the season?
I'm sorry, I thought he was ready for week one potential.
He has a tour.
ACL, he's going to be out for, I would say, I mean, until November.
I would say like October, like the earliest probably.
Okay.
No, it was ACL tear on Sharperna.
Yeah, okay.
I thought it was like that.
I missed the argument.
I missed the follow up.
I thought it was a, I thought it was a sprain.
No, I think would you.
you're confusing there was another one that was somebody else that they thought it was an ACL and it wasn't.
I think you're confusing it with the Gardner Minchu injury where it was like,
you see how it's not an ACL, it turns out it's actually okay.
Min shoe, Charminant.
Yeah, whatever.
There's both a sh in there.
No,
but like it's end of the year.
We kind of,
you know,
it's a long season.
Well, you can even open that up too.
Like so like Kenneth Walker,
somebody else and then somebody's brought into the Seahawks to replace Kenneth
Walker point being,
you know,
everybody's say brace hold the chiefs and Brice Hall of,
I'll let,
I'll let Andrew say where he wants to go.
Well,
the argument people will make about Walker will be,
well, they kept him healthy by not doing the full workload because historically that's been a big
problem for him. And I don't know. Like, I'm kind of curious to see it at this point. Yeah,
you're right. You're right. Like, let's just throw this one out there. What if the Jaguars with
their space say goodbye ETN, we're bringing in Walker. And what we just saw with that offense
take off under Cohn, I mean, I'm just saying there's opportunities. There's not a lot,
but there's opportunities where he could be walking into the Belcar role we've wished he's had.
All right. Yours, Andrew.
Erickson most excited about player who would that be all right just to confirm the
sharp and a injury January 19th suffered a season ending ACL tear so just so that we're all
the same page he's no Lindsay Vaughan Jake Sealy coming back oh my god I feel bad so for her
yeah yeah all right let's let's spin this positive he uh brief hall if he's not on the jets
31 teams have a chance to save breese hall and I'm here for it I just wanted to go somewhere
where he can just be used in an offense where he can maybe score touchdowns I mean he
for a thousand yards last year on a crappy Jets team.
We all know how talented this guy is.
I mean, Arizona, Houston, Chiefs.
I think there are some ripe landing, Seattle,
I think there are some ripe landing spots for Brise Hall
where he can be fully unlocked.
And the fact that he tweeted before the Super Bowl,
I want to play in this game.
Well, Brise, you can't play in that game if you're in New York.
So you got to get out, man.
Not with the Jets anyway.
Hell, Washington has a ton of cap space.
You tell me Greece Hall with Washington
would be super exciting.
I'd love to see it.
So that's one of the time.
You said you wanted to end positive, but it's like also a little bit sad at the same time.
What if, what if Walker and Hall swapped places?
Like Walker took the bag to go to the Jets?
Nobody wins a Super Bowl and then goes to the Jets.
No, no, that's not going to happen.
Even with the bag.
He's got a Super Bowl.
He wants all the money.
I mean, look.
And we would be hating life.
If he wants to do it, good on him.
But I, I, that would be shocking.
What do you think, everybody?
Drop your comments below.
Will anybody sign with the Jets this all season?
no matter how much money they pay them,
I'll sign too.
If you throw enough money at me,
you know,
we'll make it work.
Me and Aaron Glenn can go to get.
You want to pay me a million dollars a year?
I'll go kick for the damn jets.
Oh,
there you go.
That's how you know you've pushed Jake Sealy too far.
All right,
great stuff,
